[00:01:13] Speaker B: Oh, you remember that?
[00:01:15] Speaker C: What?
[00:01:15] Speaker B: I say, you remember that?
[00:01:16] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah.
[00:01:17] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:01:18] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Welcome on Monday. Yeah. This will be the last episode of the year.
[00:01:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:01:26] Speaker B: Yep, yep. Many new years.
[00:01:29] Speaker A: And then we opened the new year with a. With a top five.
[00:01:32] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. That's Mad Skills. His.
Did we go by Mad Skills? Just Skills now. Skills.
[00:01:41] Speaker B: Skills.
[00:01:42] Speaker C: Yeah, that's his 2024 wrap up uncle Murder. He ain't did his yet.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: He'll drop it next week. Oh, he'll drop it in a couple days. Probably. He better today. Probably.
[00:01:51] Speaker C: I don't like the fact that he stole what you call it, Idea and thunder.
[00:01:56] Speaker B: He stole it. But he, he. He did switch it up a little. His was more ratchet.
[00:02:01] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. More negative.
[00:02:02] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:02:04] Speaker C: Skills is just more telling you what happened with a little comedy.
[00:02:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Uncle Murder is almost all comedy and some wrong information. A whole, whole bunch of disrespect.
[00:02:16] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. A lot of disrespect. A lot of disrespect. We don't got no emails, so I guess we'll. Yeah, we don't got no emails this week, y'all.
[00:02:25] Speaker B: Hey, man, they ain't doing their man.
[00:02:27] Speaker C: Or maybe we ain't doing our. Maybe we didn't talk. We weren't compelling enough for them to email us, so.
[00:02:33] Speaker B: You're right.
[00:02:33] Speaker C: You right.
[00:02:34] Speaker B: You was trash last week.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:02:39] Speaker C: This coming out firing.
Don't worry, when we return fire, it's gonna be a. What do they call it?
President Bush, he had a thing he called shock and all.
[00:02:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:53] Speaker C: So just be ready.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Get the brains on bread.
[00:02:55] Speaker C: Okay. All right. Guru so High Star asked in one of his previous emails, something you were proud of yourself for in the year 2024. L start with you first, since you got so much to goddamn say.
[00:03:11] Speaker B: Something I was proud of.
[00:03:13] Speaker C: Of yourself.
[00:03:14] Speaker B: Of myself.
Y'all want the. The ratchet one?
[00:03:19] Speaker C: I want. I want. We want it.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: Or y'all want the. The, you know, politically right? The right.
[00:03:24] Speaker C: The ratchet one. What you would consider ratchet.
[00:03:27] Speaker B: I'm glad I ain't had to hurt nobody this year.
[00:03:29] Speaker C: When have you ever had to hurt somebody.
[00:03:32] Speaker B: You know?
[00:03:33] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:03:36] Speaker C: What else? What's the other one?
[00:03:38] Speaker B: The positive one is I'm glad that. Let's say I manage money a little bit better this year.
[00:03:46] Speaker C: Okay. You only bought.
[00:03:49] Speaker B: Don't say it.
[00:03:50] Speaker C: You only bought four gadgets instead of 10 gadgets.
[00:03:53] Speaker B: I'm glad you used the word gadgets.
[00:03:54] Speaker C: Oh, you thought. Ah, probably that too. Probably that too. I didn't think about who I was talking to.
[00:04:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, that's. That's one of my. I'm just. Or maybe I made a little bit more.
Nah, you know what? I was holding on to it a little bit tighter.
[00:04:10] Speaker C: The money.
[00:04:10] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, when that paycheck hit, I didn't blow it. I tried to stretch it to the next paycheck.
[00:04:16] Speaker C: That's what's up. Way to go. Good for you. Yeah. And your money management skills. Corey, saying, what is something you proud of yourself about in 2024?
[00:04:28] Speaker A: But not losing my serious.
[00:04:31] Speaker C: Stay sane.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: Yes, one. Kept my peace.
[00:04:34] Speaker C: You kept your peace.
[00:04:35] Speaker A: I kept my peace. Anybody that wasn't giving me peace.
[00:04:38] Speaker C: Cut off, cut up. Cut them off.
[00:04:39] Speaker A: Cut off.
[00:04:40] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:04:41] Speaker A: I was really about my piece this year.
[00:04:44] Speaker C: Who. Who had that song Ain't Nothing to cut that off. Oh, who's that?
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Ain't nothing. Next.
[00:04:50] Speaker B: It was.
[00:04:51] Speaker C: It wasn't Future Rich Homie Quan, maybe So one of them.
I thought that was future. Maybe it was Rich Homie. Anyway.
[00:04:58] Speaker B: Yeah, send us an email.
[00:05:00] Speaker C: My thing I'm most proud of.
I don't see. I don't really a lot of the stuff that I do. Whatever I just be feeling like you supposed to do, you know what I'm saying? So.
[00:05:14] Speaker B: Yeah, but you know what? I think it's your results later. You. You look back and be like, you know what? I'm glad I didn't, you know, go out as much. I'm glad I, you know, stayed a homebody.
[00:05:27] Speaker C: I don't.
[00:05:28] Speaker B: No.
[00:05:28] Speaker C: Nah.
Going out. That ain't Even those things.
[00:05:34] Speaker B: No, that was just an example.
[00:05:35] Speaker C: Example. Yeah. Yeah. True, true.
I'm trying to think. I guess I didn't quit doing this show.
[00:05:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:05:44] Speaker A: Did you feel like quitting?
[00:05:46] Speaker C: Probably, yeah.
[00:05:49] Speaker A: Thank you for not quitting.
[00:05:51] Speaker C: Thank y'all for helping me not quit.
Thank you for being my enablers.
And I'm getting another hit right now of this heroin. It's like chasing the dragon. There you go.
So, yeah, there you go. Dj, hot stars, things we have been proud of ourselves.
[00:06:10] Speaker B: Yeah, send us yours, man.
[00:06:12] Speaker C: Yeah, send us yours.
[00:06:13] Speaker A: Send us yours.
[00:06:15] Speaker C: I think they asked that three times in a row now.
[00:06:18] Speaker A: You gotta tell us yours.
[00:06:20] Speaker C: Well before Thanksgiving, before the year ends.
[00:06:22] Speaker A: It was December 2nd. Yeah, something like that. I'm not sure, but it was definitely the beginning of December.
[00:06:28] Speaker C: Yeah, nigga, we got time pushed us along. So.
[00:06:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:31] Speaker C: So it's the end of the year. And every year, social media does some of the work for us by putting out that calendar list.
[00:06:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:39] Speaker C: And it's mainly only black mess. Cause it's not really a lot of, like, real news. Like stuff like the war in, you know, Gaza, Palestine, or. Yeah, stuff like that. It's always, like, ratchet. Ratchet stuff. So.
[00:06:55] Speaker B: Yeah, well, we're here for the Ratchet, too.
[00:06:57] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
He just texted me. Are y'all recording now?
[00:07:02] Speaker B: Tell him send it for the.
For the next. For Wednesday show.
[00:07:06] Speaker C: If he send it in before right.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: Now, we can always go back.
[00:07:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:16] Speaker C: So the list. The calendar for this year in January.
Y'all got the picture, right?
[00:07:24] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:07:24] Speaker C: Who's the guy with the mask on? I was just curious.
I don't recognize him.
[00:07:30] Speaker B: Me neither. I was gonna ask you the same thing.
[00:07:32] Speaker C: I don't know. That ain't John Lee Malvo, is it? Looks like John Lee Malvo.
[00:07:36] Speaker B: Nah, that's not him.
[00:07:37] Speaker C: That's not him. Okay.
[00:07:38] Speaker B: Malvo's the older guy, right?
[00:07:40] Speaker C: I thought Marvel was the young guy.
[00:07:42] Speaker B: Okay, that's neither one of them.
[00:07:43] Speaker C: Okay.
One thing that happened, that took. Took the world by storm was the Stanley Cup.
[00:07:48] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. It still is.
[00:07:50] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of people got the Stanley Cups. You got one?
[00:07:53] Speaker A: I've always had a Stanley cup before. Stanley was Stanley.
[00:07:57] Speaker C: You got the fluorescent color, though. No, that was marketing genius it was marketing genius to make it soft colors.
[00:08:05] Speaker B: You know how many fake ones out there?
[00:08:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:07] Speaker C: What do you call fake?
[00:08:08] Speaker B: Like, you go and find it for $25, it's a.
[00:08:11] Speaker C: But it's a Stanley.
[00:08:12] Speaker A: No, it's not exactly.
[00:08:14] Speaker B: It'll say Stanley.
[00:08:15] Speaker C: Oh, you mean fake Stanley. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I thought you meant like, like this right here is one of the brands that make thermo. Yeah, but I think they call like Ozark or something like that. Yeah, this shit right here. So I put tea in here. If I leave this tea sit for like a day and a half, it'll still be hot.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:33] Speaker C: Oh, warm. It'll still be hot.
[00:08:35] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:08:35] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:08:36] Speaker B: I like those kind of things.
[00:08:37] Speaker C: Yeah. So. But it's a whole lot of companies, them that make them cheaper but the standard john just, just took off and then they got like accessories. You could put like a thing to make it like a tabletop and you could put your snacks in it and all kind of. Yeah, they got a whole bunch of. You can put jewelry on it and.
[00:08:52] Speaker A: All kind of stuff.
[00:08:53] Speaker B: And yours.
Oh, for real?
[00:08:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I got like a big 64 ounce one, but I got this a few years ago.
[00:09:01] Speaker C: So you can't accessorize it.
[00:09:03] Speaker A: No, you can, but I just don't. Because it wasn't all of that to me. Like the way everybody's making it crazy right now. Like I bought, I bought a 32 ounce by accident because I thought I bought it purchased a 64 ounce and it came in and I was like, I don't want this size. So I just gave it to my sister in law and she was like, thanks. And I'm like, huh? And she's like, it's a Stanley Cup.
[00:09:25] Speaker C: I was like, oh, you gave it to her recently? Since the crazy.
[00:09:27] Speaker A: No, I gave it to her back then. But she likes stuff like that.
[00:09:30] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:09:31] Speaker A: So I think she's just always.
[00:09:32] Speaker C: She knew the.
[00:09:33] Speaker A: Yeah. And then usually my brother who's her husband usually takes all her cups and he was like, yo, let me borrow that. She said if you touch my Stanley cup, like that's one.
[00:09:43] Speaker C: Well, he like the truck driver, he do construction?
[00:09:45] Speaker A: No, he just likes messing with stuff.
[00:09:47] Speaker C: Oh. Cause that's, that's something for like people that got to be away from.
[00:09:51] Speaker B: Be on the go.
[00:09:52] Speaker C: On the go. Yeah. You know.
[00:09:53] Speaker A: Yeah. And then she started sending me videos of what the Stanley cup can do. Like it's a floaty. Like you could actually just sit it in the pool and it'll stay afloat.
[00:10:00] Speaker B: Yeah, all cups do that with a top.
[00:10:03] Speaker C: Oh yeah. Because of the.
[00:10:04] Speaker A: I guess science.
[00:10:06] Speaker B: This water bottle does the same thing.
[00:10:07] Speaker C: No, but maybe it's.
[00:10:09] Speaker A: I'm talking about the way it sits up.
[00:10:11] Speaker C: Yeah, Water bottle might flip over a little.
[00:10:13] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, no, it sits up.
[00:10:16] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:10:17] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:10:20] Speaker C: You know, I didn't anticipate us to talk about Stanley this long.
[00:10:24] Speaker B: Look, I'm great. Still go on too. I'm like. Yeah, the other. The height.
[00:10:30] Speaker C: Yeah, it's still up there now and people about like all the colors. Like it's stupid. That's stupid.
And then the other big thing that happened in January was the Club Shay Shay interview of Cat Williams and.
[00:10:41] Speaker B: Yep. Shook up the world, son. Yeah, that one, that one. That's after that they tried to catch that same wave from then to now.
[00:10:52] Speaker C: What do you mean they. What do you mean?
[00:10:54] Speaker B: Shake shake. Well, they trying to get those same views by having the next wow. Person on there or the next say whatever person on there.
[00:11:02] Speaker C: Well, I see, I.
I see how it can look like that but he's been doing like them interviews forever.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: Yeah, but there wasn't as high.
[00:11:11] Speaker C: Well, they did well, go ahead.
[00:11:13] Speaker B: It was. The celebrities wasn't as big. I know they probably, you know, hit a budget.
[00:11:18] Speaker C: So who is the biggest celebrity then?
[00:11:20] Speaker B: Cat Williams.
[00:11:21] Speaker C: Steve Harvey or Cat Williams?
[00:11:23] Speaker B: Steve Harvey.
[00:11:24] Speaker C: He has Steve Harvey on there.
[00:11:26] Speaker B: But that was after, right?
[00:11:27] Speaker C: No, he has to be Harvey on.
[00:11:28] Speaker B: That way before the same setup.
[00:11:31] Speaker C: Yeah, it was the same. It's Club Shay Shay.
[00:11:32] Speaker A: He's had a few people on the wall.
[00:11:34] Speaker C: Like he's been doing it for a long time. It just.
[00:11:36] Speaker A: It just became caught on.
[00:11:39] Speaker C: Like this one caught on the Monique one caught on. It went viral. But he's been doing these interviews just like this for a long time. Like a lot of the stuff that Cat Williams was talking about. He was talking about people that had come on.
[00:11:53] Speaker B: Oh yeah, before that.
[00:11:54] Speaker C: Before that. You know what I'm saying? Like Ricky Smiley was on.
[00:11:57] Speaker B: Exactly, yeah.
[00:11:58] Speaker C: Who was the other? Cedric Entertainer was on.
[00:12:00] Speaker B: Did he say something about Little Rail too? Because that Little Rail one was before, wasn't it?
[00:12:04] Speaker C: I don't know if he said. He might have said something about Little Rail, but a lot of the stuff that Cat. I wonder was Kevin Hart on. I don't know if he had Kevin Hart on there. I think he had Cam. Cam Newton on before. But like a lot of the stuff that Cat Williams said. Yeah, I really didn't agree with a lot of it.
And a lot of the stuff got like proven fake. Well, not fake but like kind of like a miss.
You can see how one person could have one view of it and another person have another view.
[00:12:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:12:32] Speaker C: Like the Kevin Hart just coming out of nowhere and becoming like overnight famous.
[00:12:38] Speaker B: Oh, the plant.
[00:12:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:40] Speaker B: Being a plant.
[00:12:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:41] Speaker B: I mean they say that about everybody. It's it's like the new thing. It's just like saying Vlad is the Feds, you know.
[00:12:50] Speaker C: Yes. It's a simplification because Vlad don't make you say nothing.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:12:55] Speaker C: He just asked the question you, it's up to you to answer.
[00:12:58] Speaker B: How many people say he the Fed, just because, you know, situation. So I think that was the same thing with this.
I, I think one of the best probably interviews that I've saw was that Cat Williams 1.
[00:13:13] Speaker C: The best and most entertaining.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: Both most entertaining.
[00:13:18] Speaker C: What was the. What made you think it was the best?
[00:13:21] Speaker B: Because you know, sometime when they'll interview somebody and they'll, you know, you can see them holding back the interviewee, then the vwe. And I like his style of interview. He let the person just go. He'll say one thing and, and just go from there.
[00:13:39] Speaker C: So I don't really think he a good interviewer though, because he got a different style.
[00:13:46] Speaker B: He's basically there for the people itself to give their own views.
[00:13:52] Speaker C: Yeah, but like, if you could. Well, I can tell that he has like a set sort of questions and he'll ask the question, the person to give whatever answer. Now it might be something in that answer that he can ask a follow up question or respond, but he don't. He'd be like, interesting. Interesting.
[00:14:11] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:14:11] Speaker C: Now, it says here, back in 1972, you and Michelle, you guys started trade school together.
[00:14:24] Speaker A: Who's Michelle?
[00:14:25] Speaker C: My Michelle.
You ever seen that video?
[00:14:30] Speaker B: No.
[00:14:31] Speaker C: You have? You didn't see the video for real?
[00:14:33] Speaker B: No.
[00:14:33] Speaker C: You didn't see his.
[00:14:34] Speaker A: Do you know what video we're talking about?
[00:14:36] Speaker C: Let me see if it's on the. No, you didn't see if it's on the list.
[00:14:38] Speaker B: Y'all didn't hear me on the mic.
[00:14:39] Speaker C: I was like, it's not on the list.
[00:14:42] Speaker A: What does that mean?
[00:14:43] Speaker B: I really don't know what the hell y'all.
[00:14:47] Speaker C: No, I think it is on the list. September, it came out in September, I think. Oh, so we'll get to it.
[00:14:53] Speaker A: So maybe when I see that. Okay, so maybe when I see it for September.
[00:14:57] Speaker C: Yeah, so. So, yeah, that happened in January. The Cat Williams interview. In February it was. So the Monique interview happened in February where she talked about a whole bunch of stuff. I don't even really remember her interview too much. You.
[00:15:10] Speaker A: No, who did.
[00:15:11] Speaker C: She talked about Cat Williams in it. I mean, she kept Kevin Hart.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: You know what that was after? Wasn't that after the Netflix situation?
[00:15:19] Speaker C: This is way after. Yeah, Netflix happened a couple years ago.
[00:15:21] Speaker B: But that's when.
[00:15:22] Speaker A: But she said she got her.
[00:15:23] Speaker B: She got her.
[00:15:24] Speaker A: Yeah. And then she got the Netflix deal after this.
[00:15:27] Speaker C: No, she didn't get the Netflix deal after this.
[00:15:31] Speaker A: Didn't she have a. Didn't she have a Netflix show this year?
[00:15:34] Speaker C: I thought that was last year.
[00:15:35] Speaker A: Hold on, let's double digit.
[00:15:38] Speaker C: What? After this interview? No, don't. She had a Netflix deal before? I mean Netflix, see? What her Netflix, they gave her offer.
[00:15:47] Speaker A: But the Deliverance, Right.
[00:15:49] Speaker C: When did that come up?
[00:15:50] Speaker A: Let's tell you right now.
[00:15:52] Speaker B: This year. So they had the. Okay, last year?
[00:15:54] Speaker C: You sure?
[00:15:55] Speaker B: Possibly. Did that come out this year?
[00:15:57] Speaker C: I don't remember watching that this year.
[00:15:59] Speaker A: It came out last year.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:16:01] Speaker C: I know what I'm talking about.
[00:16:02] Speaker B: You think you know?
Tell me.
[00:16:06] Speaker C: I know what I'm talking about. So that interview happened this year. That was a big one too. That was like. That kind of made it seem like what you said though, like you know, back to back he had people that were saying salacious stuff. But that was. One was January, one was February.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: What was your favorite one?
[00:16:24] Speaker C: Favorite of him?
[00:16:25] Speaker B: Yes, most entertaining. Let's say that.
[00:16:31] Speaker C: I watched all. Did I watch? Well, I watched half and I listened to the other half of the Cat Williams interview.
[00:16:38] Speaker B: That was three hours.
[00:16:39] Speaker C: Yeah, three hours.
[00:16:39] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
[00:16:40] Speaker C: I don't think I got. Went through all of it though.
[00:16:42] Speaker B: I did.
[00:16:42] Speaker C: Because around the end, you. I could tell he was like just saying wild stuff. To say wild stuff.
[00:16:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
Once he started, once he brought up.
[00:16:51] Speaker C: Luda, I was like, yeah, he did bring up Luda.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: I'm out.
[00:16:55] Speaker C: Yeah. Talking about he got a funny looking wife.
[00:16:58] Speaker A: He got a funny looking wife. And he was like, yeah. You know, at the parties, you know, they wanted us to do stuff, but I didn't. And then one person chose it and they was going to get a franchise for 10 movies. And I'm like, one. That's not even his franchise. Two, he wasn't in all 10. Do your homework.
[00:17:16] Speaker C: Oh. Oh, yeah. He was eluding the loot, ain't it?
[00:17:18] Speaker A: Yeah. He wasn't even on all 10.
[00:17:22] Speaker C: Was he in the first one?
[00:17:23] Speaker A: Nope.
[00:17:24] Speaker C: Which one did he start? The third one.
[00:17:25] Speaker A: He came in the second one. He wasn't in the third one. He was back in the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and ten. If you add all that up, that.
[00:17:34] Speaker C: Don'T equal to 10.
[00:17:35] Speaker A: It ain't 10. So if they do two more, then. Well, technically part 10 is having a part two of that, not part two. Technically not 11, but I'm trying to.
[00:17:44] Speaker C: Think of the last one.
[00:17:45] Speaker A: I need I need him to have 10 for his thing to be plausible.
He ain't have. He don't have 10.
[00:17:52] Speaker C: So that. That.
[00:17:53] Speaker A: I'm just saying.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: Also in February, Usher. Usher had a big year last year because of his residency, and that led up to him being a Super bowl performer in February.
[00:18:06] Speaker A: No, I'm not huffing and puffing the Ushers at all. Why did you say the BET performance that they did for Usher?
[00:18:15] Speaker C: Oh, I didn't really see that. Was that.
[00:18:17] Speaker B: I didn't see it either.
[00:18:18] Speaker A: Yeah, he's.
[00:18:19] Speaker C: They say he picked the women, though.
[00:18:20] Speaker A: Did he?
[00:18:21] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I read. He picked the women because I didn't see that anywhere. Yeah, I think he picked the women. And it was.
[00:18:27] Speaker A: One was singing.
[00:18:29] Speaker C: He started out. He did.
[00:18:30] Speaker A: He had sandals on.
[00:18:32] Speaker C: That's his style.
[00:18:34] Speaker B: I like his.
[00:18:35] Speaker A: Some linen pants.
[00:18:36] Speaker B: I like his Atlanta style. I don't like his.
[00:18:38] Speaker A: Yeah, that was. That was not. That was not. Okay.
[00:18:41] Speaker C: His Atlanta style on someone on the show. Yeah, that slack.
[00:18:44] Speaker B: I like that style. Compared to the freaking, you know.
[00:18:47] Speaker A: Yeah, well, he wore. It was.
[00:18:48] Speaker C: You didn't like it? It didn't look like people expressing themselves with YouTube. Jesus Christ.
[00:18:55] Speaker A: No.
[00:18:56] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: I never really have an opinion. You got one now when I do, I think it's for a good reason.
[00:19:04] Speaker C: Whose song was it? Whose song on that?
[00:19:07] Speaker A: Kiki Palmer.
[00:19:09] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:19:09] Speaker A: Now, I love Kiki and I love her music, but I didn't enjoy her, like, specifically singing the Usher songs, because I don't. I feel like it didn't complement her voice.
[00:19:22] Speaker C: Maybe he picked Kiki because of the controversy and probably.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: So what about this?
[00:19:33] Speaker A: What?
[00:19:34] Speaker B: Alicia Keys thing?
[00:19:36] Speaker A: Yeah. What is that? Am I. Do I live under a rock?
[00:19:39] Speaker C: So he did the Super Bowl.
[00:19:41] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:19:42] Speaker C: Alicia Keys performed with him. And then it was big because in a part of it, he, like, came behind her and then hugged her.
[00:19:49] Speaker A: He had my boo.
[00:19:51] Speaker C: It was, like, real sensual.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it was a real work. Husband.
[00:19:56] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But the picture looks worse than it really is on Alicia's part. Cause when he did it, she kind of got away from him real quick.
[00:20:06] Speaker A: Yeah, it happened in a second.
[00:20:08] Speaker C: Cause he's Mr. Steal your girlfriend. No. Is that Trace?
[00:20:11] Speaker A: That's Trey.
[00:20:11] Speaker C: Oh, my bad.
[00:20:13] Speaker A: I'll be like.
[00:20:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
And then it was Chrisean, her and Blueface. I'm glad they got. I haven't seen them in a while, and I just saw her, like, a video came up of her, like, at a. Like, one of them jumping places or whatever.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: That's because Blueface is in jail.
[00:20:30] Speaker C: She Was in jail, too.
[00:20:31] Speaker B: No, but you're not gonna see too much of them.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: Yeah, but I'm saying either. Either with her out of jail, when he was in jail, she would be doing dumb stuff. Yeah, but, like, for. Since she been in. Been out of. In jail and got back out, you haven't really seen none of the crazy stuff. I think she, like, trying to turn her life around or whatever.
[00:20:49] Speaker A: But I hope so, because I saw a picture of her before Blueface. That girl was gorgeous.
[00:20:54] Speaker C: Yeah, she still is. But she. She still ain't had no tooth, though.
[00:20:58] Speaker B: No, she.
[00:20:58] Speaker A: No, she had.
[00:20:59] Speaker B: She had a tooth.
[00:21:00] Speaker C: He didn't knock it out.
[00:21:01] Speaker A: He didn't knock it out, but she knocked it. Got knocked out while she's been. Been with him.
[00:21:05] Speaker C: Oh, so blame that on him.
[00:21:07] Speaker A: I didn't blame it on him.
[00:21:08] Speaker C: She got a tooth with his face on it.
[00:21:10] Speaker B: Oh, what? Oh, for real?
[00:21:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:21:12] Speaker A: I thought it was his. Her cheek.
[00:21:14] Speaker C: No, she. She had the tooth before the cheek. She had, like, a little prosthetic. Yeah.
[00:21:19] Speaker B: What they call it? False tooth.
[00:21:21] Speaker A: I need. I need her to go back to who she was before him, because maybe that was worse.
[00:21:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:21:28] Speaker B: You know, sister.
[00:21:29] Speaker C: Yeah. That whole family. Her dad family is, you know, he know. He watched the show.
[00:21:33] Speaker A: I know Baddies.
[00:21:35] Speaker C: That's Baddies.
[00:21:36] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:21:36] Speaker C: What was the show with him and her, though? That was Baddies.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: That was Blueface.
[00:21:41] Speaker C: Blueface Crips again.
[00:21:42] Speaker B: I hate that show. That shit was trash.
[00:21:44] Speaker C: What was the show where he knocked out her daddy?
[00:21:47] Speaker A: What?
[00:21:48] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't see the. I don't like the show, but I did see that all over.
[00:21:52] Speaker A: We know you saw it.
[00:21:53] Speaker B: Yeah, that was.
[00:21:54] Speaker A: I just listened to the first episode that I did with y'all, and he had brought up Baddies, and I had told. And you was like, oh, you really watched that? And I was like, yeah, that's his guilty pleasure. And you was like, man, don't tell nobody that. And then we ended up doing Guilty Pleasure. Guilty Pleasure, huh?
[00:22:12] Speaker B: Who you told that?
[00:22:13] Speaker A: No, I was listening to the first episode that I joined.
[00:22:15] Speaker B: I didn't tell nobody.
[00:22:16] Speaker A: Yeah, I was like, wow. How it. How it. How it comes back?
[00:22:21] Speaker B: You know?
[00:22:22] Speaker A: And you was like, so. And you. Oh, you was like, so, what you be watching on Baddies?
What be happening on Baddies? And then Elle's like, yeah, so he's just so excited to talk about it.
[00:22:35] Speaker B: Baddies is entertaining.
[00:22:36] Speaker C: And you like, yeah, it's entertaining. Then Shannon Sharp jumping out that truck in that outfit.
[00:22:42] Speaker B: Crazy.
[00:22:43] Speaker C: He got him. He got a mean stance. He.
[00:22:45] Speaker B: Oh, It's. He got a. He got a walk stand. All of that. Better than Megan Thee Stallion.
[00:22:52] Speaker C: No, no, I'm telling you, he came out, he was better than Megan the Stallion.
[00:22:57] Speaker B: Yeah, he was flamboyant, I'm telling you, man.
[00:23:02] Speaker C: And it was a girl that like imitated it and I think it was a girl, a woman or whatever imitated like the thing he said to walk. Everything that was funny.
[00:23:12] Speaker B: What's that guy that. That football player that got that show.
[00:23:14] Speaker C: That does order to my.
[00:23:16] Speaker B: Lou. That's his name, Lou. When he did it, you know what I'm talking about?
[00:23:20] Speaker C: Maybe it was him I saw.
[00:23:22] Speaker B: He was funny.
[00:23:22] Speaker C: Yeah, he had the bag and all.
[00:23:26] Speaker B: Where we at? March.
[00:23:27] Speaker C: Yeah. And then in March, you know, that was the first time. I think that's when Diddy house got rated. Yeah, in March.
[00:23:33] Speaker B: The first rate.
[00:23:34] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:23:35] Speaker C: Yeah. I don't know what this. I guess that's. Oh, I guess these. These are the cops going to his house.
[00:23:40] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I didn't know he got rated twice.
[00:23:42] Speaker C: No, he only got rated once.
[00:23:43] Speaker B: So what about when he got. That was all the way in March.
[00:23:47] Speaker C: Yeah. So he got. Right. His house got raided in March. He was. He was out.
And that's when they were talking about. They found all this stuff. Whatever, whatever.
[00:23:55] Speaker B: Oh, wow. That was. That was.
[00:23:57] Speaker C: Yeah, because. Cause like that at that interview, I want to say that kicked off everything. Nah, it didn't. People say that.
But really. Cause he got in trouble the year before.
[00:24:12] Speaker B: Did he?
[00:24:12] Speaker C: Yeah, that's when Cassie. That's when the lawsuit came out that Cassie did. It came out the year before and he settled with her. And that's kind of what started everything with Cassie.
[00:24:24] Speaker A: Came out in 23.
[00:24:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: Probably end like it had to be.
[00:24:28] Speaker C: Because we was all talking about it November. So if you look up, whenever that law went out, the law went out and like. Well, she tried to sue him in the summertime and he didn't budge. And then that's when the law was about to go out around, I think I'm gonna say like November. October, November. And that's when he settled real quick.
[00:24:49] Speaker A: Yeah, he did that quick then.
[00:24:50] Speaker C: Yeah, he's. That. You know what I'm saying? That happened real quick. Like the next day.
[00:24:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:24:55] Speaker C: To keep it quiet. And then, you know.
[00:24:57] Speaker A: Yeah. I didn't realize it had happened that time. I thought it happened the beginning of this year.
[00:25:02] Speaker C: Nah, it wasn't. And that's why like when. When a lot of people say like Cat Williams did, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, Cat Williams He. All he did was look at the news and social media stuff and was talking about it. You know what I'm saying?
But then along with that, the Dan Snyder thing was happening with Nickelodeon. Did you watch that?
[00:25:19] Speaker A: I sure did.
[00:25:20] Speaker C: Yeah. That was a.
[00:25:22] Speaker B: It was weird.
[00:25:23] Speaker C: The crazy thing about it, though, they never got Dan for really doing nothing. He just did some weird stuff.
[00:25:29] Speaker A: Yeah, he had them doing weird stuff on the show.
[00:25:32] Speaker C: On the show.
[00:25:33] Speaker A: But he particularly, like, he didn't touch a child so far. So far.
[00:25:39] Speaker C: So far that we know so far. Yeah.
[00:25:40] Speaker B: Oh, so he didn't.
[00:25:41] Speaker A: But there was one.
[00:25:42] Speaker C: It was one guy that did.
[00:25:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:44] Speaker B: Friend.
[00:25:45] Speaker A: Yeah, he. He did. He did it to Drake. Drake is Drake.
[00:25:52] Speaker C: Yeah, Drake from Josh and Drake, whatever that show is.
And he turned out. And I think he kind of messed that boy up because he got in trouble.
[00:26:00] Speaker A: He got in trouble so much.
[00:26:01] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:26:02] Speaker A: And then he even had his own, like.
[00:26:06] Speaker C: That's what I'm talking about. Him getting in trouble for case type. Yeah. Messing with somebody on that or something like that. Yeah. But I think that was, like, the start of it for him. But that's crazy. Yeah. And then another thing that kind of went viral was the. The dude in that dress. In the outfit. Yeah, that was an unk. Outfit. I don't care. What.
[00:26:23] Speaker B: Nobody said it was an outfit when you look at it now. But if you just see him walking around the street.
[00:26:27] Speaker C: Oh, no, I see. That's an UNC outfit. He too matchy. Matchy.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: I guess so.
[00:26:32] Speaker C: Carolina blue polo shirt with the Carolina blue.
[00:26:35] Speaker B: You know, where was he from? It. Was he from the Carolinas?
[00:26:39] Speaker C: No, it was like St. Louis or some like that.
[00:26:41] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:26:41] Speaker C: Yeah. Like Midwest or something. Because it couldn't have been Carolinas because he was leaving the Whataburger.
[00:26:47] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:26:48] Speaker C: And we just got one in, like, Greenville or something like that. So it ain't too many Whataburgers around here.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:26:53] Speaker C: Yeah. Especially back then. I think one opened in Columbia recently. But. But, yeah, people was calling him. But that was an uncle outfit. But the dude, he. He got a deal, like, lrg. Oh, word.
Yeah. He got invited to, like, man, hold up.
Maybe it's not St. Louis. Maybe it was like Memphis or something like that.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:27:12] Speaker C: Cause he got invited to some basketball. It was wherever he live is. They got, like, a basketball team and he got to go to, like, some basketball games and stuff.
[00:27:18] Speaker B: That's crazy. Cause he didn't go viral for his damn outfit. He went viral for the girls.
[00:27:23] Speaker C: What they showed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was like, what this Ain't cool or something. He said, yeah. And they was like, no, it ain't, girl. And then they found the girls and was going in on the girls.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: April, is that Omarion? No, that's Quavo.
[00:27:40] Speaker C: That's Quavo and Chris Brown. See, and that's the thing. See, I thought they had their beef earlier before. I thought they had their beef no later.
Cause they were beefing, and then, you know, in May, it was some more beefs or whatever. It was an earthquake. Where was that earthquake?
It looked like Ohio, Montana or something. It might be another. Another country.
[00:28:03] Speaker B: We can't. We can't go by this picture too much, because something might be off a little.
[00:28:07] Speaker A: No, it was in Jersey, y'all.
[00:28:09] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:28:09] Speaker C: Oh, that was a Jersey.
[00:28:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah. Because I remember everybody in New York.
[00:28:13] Speaker C: Was like, it was earthquake.
[00:28:15] Speaker B: It was. Yeah.
[00:28:16] Speaker C: 4.8. Okay, then the eclipse is moving and shaking.
[00:28:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Californians, they were like, welcome to our world. Sit your asses down.
[00:28:26] Speaker B: Yeah, that eclipse, that was a big one.
[00:28:28] Speaker C: Mm.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Did y'all look at it?
[00:28:31] Speaker C: Yeah, I looked at it. Matter of fact, it was. That happened on a Saturday, and I had went to why Not Wings while it was going on.
[00:28:38] Speaker B: Nah, it happened during school.
[00:28:40] Speaker C: You sure?
[00:28:41] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause they gave out little glasses.
[00:28:42] Speaker C: Maybe it was a Friday.
[00:28:44] Speaker B: They gave the glasses out to the kids.
[00:28:46] Speaker C: Maybe it was a Friday.
[00:28:47] Speaker B: Then they gave the glasses out to the kids, but didn't allow the kids to go outside to watch it.
[00:28:52] Speaker C: Oh, wow.
That's crazy. Yeah, I know. Whatever day it was, I know I went to why Not Wings? But it really didn't. It really wasn't dark. Dark outside. No, because it had. It was going, like. I think here it. It was between, like, two and three. Yeah, it was.
[00:29:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Under the act, like the couple, the few states, and then the other countries that could actually. That was, like, right underneath, it got dark.
[00:29:19] Speaker C: So that happened in the whole man versus Bear.
[00:29:23] Speaker B: I don't remember that one.
[00:29:24] Speaker C: So it was a thing where a woman was like, if she was caught out in the woods, she would rather be confronted by a bear than a man.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: Yeah. That was the stupidest thing I've heard.
[00:29:37] Speaker B: Why you think that's that? I don't know.
[00:29:40] Speaker C: Okay, give me your reasoning.
[00:29:42] Speaker B: You know it's gonna be crazy now, right?
[00:29:44] Speaker C: Nah, it might not be.
[00:29:45] Speaker B: Well, a man can, like, kidnap her, and that's.
[00:29:49] Speaker C: That's the way.
[00:29:51] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:29:52] Speaker B: Over and over and over again. A bear, you know, she might persuade him to run off.
[00:29:57] Speaker C: So that was exactly her reasoning. And that was.
[00:30:00] Speaker B: It.
[00:30:00] Speaker A: Depends on the bear.
[00:30:01] Speaker C: That was the reasoning of a whole lot of women. And so. So it took on social media. It was like, you know, woman, man versus bear, bear. You know what I'm saying? It was a whole big old thing on social media.
[00:30:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:30:12] Speaker C: Niggas was mad.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: Why?
[00:30:15] Speaker C: Because it's like, you would pick a bear over me. They took it super personal and not, you know, took the whole.
[00:30:22] Speaker A: It's just like. It's not about y'all.
[00:30:23] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. So when stuff was happening to women in the news after that, you'll see in the comments, you, like, call a damn bear, like, oh, but you picked the bear, though. You know what I'm saying? Like that.
[00:30:36] Speaker B: So I would have picked a bear, too.
[00:30:38] Speaker A: No, I don't think I would have.
[00:30:39] Speaker B: Picked, like, a Charles Manson or something locked in the room.
[00:30:42] Speaker A: See, that. That makes sense. I mean, I get it.
[00:30:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:30:45] Speaker A: But I can. I can. I can possibly persuade a man or even hurt a man.
[00:30:51] Speaker B: That's what you think, I'm telling you. Well, you probably hurt a man. Yeah, you're right.
[00:30:56] Speaker A: I can hurt a man physically quicker than a bear, probably, if I had the opportunity.
[00:31:03] Speaker C: But it was a video of a woman. She was, like, running on, like, a mountain trail or whatever, and she had. Came around the curve, and it was a bear.
And, you know, guys, in the comments, that's what you picked.
Dudes just be. Then it was white dude, because that. That came from white social media or whatever.
[00:31:21] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:31:22] Speaker A: Not white social media.
[00:31:23] Speaker C: It did. That came from white social media.
[00:31:24] Speaker B: That's why I didn't see it.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: So that was April May.
What is this dress? Is that Cardi B? Who is that in that dress?
[00:31:31] Speaker A: Let me see.
[00:31:35] Speaker B: Is that. Is that.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: That's. I want to say Kardashian. Yeah, I want to say that's.
[00:31:41] Speaker C: That's Kim, maybe. So. Okay, that don't matter, Skip. And then it was the teacher. Oh, yeah.
Getting his hair braided.
[00:31:50] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:51] Speaker C: What you think about that?
[00:31:52] Speaker B: I thought about that, like, two weeks ago.
[00:31:54] Speaker C: Oh, for real?
[00:31:55] Speaker B: You know, I've been letting my hair rest and not getting it braided up and leaving it out. So while I'm at school, you know, the kids. Oh, book me. Book me. I'm like.
Even though, you know, I could use another hairdresser, but that's not gonna happen.
[00:32:09] Speaker C: That's wild. That's w.
You, as the man that you are, the stuff that you pause on talking about. You need a hairdresser.
[00:32:17] Speaker B: I mean, that's an unpausible moment.
[00:32:19] Speaker C: It's not impossible.
[00:32:21] Speaker B: Us Men go to beauty salons. We. Who is we? Hey, feel more slim. Go back to the pimping days, baby.
[00:32:30] Speaker C: That's not a beauty salon.
[00:32:31] Speaker B: Yes, it is.
[00:32:32] Speaker C: That's not a salon.
That's the nail salon. That's totally different than the beauty salon.
[00:32:38] Speaker B: Beauty parlor.
[00:32:39] Speaker C: You go to the beauty parlor. That's why you go in to get your hair done.
[00:32:42] Speaker B: I used to, but, I mean, what do they call it?
[00:32:44] Speaker C: Don't worry about it.
[00:32:45] Speaker B: Huh? What do they call it now?
[00:32:46] Speaker C: You going to the beauty salon. Go ahead.
[00:32:49] Speaker A: It's just a beauty salon. If you're going to get your hair done and stuff. Like, if they do hair and then like nails and stuff, it's a beauty salon. But if it's just nails, it's nail salon.
[00:32:58] Speaker C: I'm just trying to. I'm trying to get you back from. From earlier, that's all. Beauty salon.
[00:33:03] Speaker B: That was a far reach, though. It's not a reach all the way across.
[00:33:07] Speaker C: Email us, dj blazegmail.com.
how would you feel about your man going to get beautified?
[00:33:14] Speaker B: I mean, go ahead. We have a.
[00:33:16] Speaker C: You come in here. You come in here. We have a woman. You come in here with your. With your.
[00:33:22] Speaker B: You know what I'm about to say, right?
[00:33:23] Speaker C: What?
[00:33:24] Speaker A: Don't you say it. Don't you.
[00:33:26] Speaker B: The B word.
[00:33:26] Speaker A: Say it. We got a broad.
[00:33:29] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, broad. You thought I was going to say the other people.
Did you see my face? Sh. You like?
[00:33:38] Speaker A: You like. I know he ain't about.
[00:33:39] Speaker C: Damn, this wild. He's really trying to make a point. Go right at.
[00:33:44] Speaker B: Have at it. No, not that b.
Br.
[00:33:47] Speaker C: Not p. I. Yeah, you can say broad. Broad is funny.
[00:33:51] Speaker A: He better not call me no damn broad.
[00:33:53] Speaker B: You don't like that. That's crazy.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: No, don't call me. Do not call me Abroad.
[00:33:59] Speaker B: That's the.
[00:33:59] Speaker A: That's a real word getting on your nerves. Sit down, you dumb broad.
[00:34:03] Speaker C: Yeah, these broads are the only time.
[00:34:05] Speaker A: You could use it.
[00:34:06] Speaker C: You sound like somebody from Staten island that, like, that's how they go. Shout out to the Sopranos. They like the Jets.
[00:34:11] Speaker A: Sit down, you dumb broad. I got a Staten Islander that lives within me. Her name is Carol.
[00:34:17] Speaker C: Okay, we got a new one.
[00:34:18] Speaker A: There's a new one.
[00:34:19] Speaker C: Raeleen.
I wonder where's Raeleen from.
[00:34:24] Speaker A: She's from New York.
[00:34:25] Speaker C: Hackensack.
[00:34:25] Speaker A: I told you, she's from the city.
[00:34:28] Speaker C: Oh, she's from the city.
[00:34:29] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:34:30] Speaker C: Hell's Kitchen.
[00:34:31] Speaker A: No.
[00:34:33] Speaker C: What part of the city?
[00:34:34] Speaker A: Look at her face. No, because he's trying to. I know why he keep asking because he'd be like, you're Raylene.
[00:34:41] Speaker C: Yeah, Raylene. We got Carol. Carol.
[00:34:44] Speaker A: Carol. Carol is like.
[00:34:46] Speaker C: She oddly spells it with a K.
[00:34:48] Speaker A: No, Carol spells it with a C. Don't play with me, too. Oh, don't try me like that. All right. B. Be easy. Okay.
[00:34:56] Speaker B: Be easy.
[00:34:58] Speaker C: Carol spelled it with two Rs.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: No, it's just C, A, R, O, L. Carol. Like Carolers Christmas Carol.
[00:35:07] Speaker C: Yeah, Carol. Okay, we got Carol. Raylene.
[00:35:10] Speaker A: Yes. Carol's from. She's. She's. She's just from New York. A lot of people don't know about Carol, but Carol will sit your ass down with her words.
[00:35:20] Speaker C: She's from Sicily.
[00:35:21] Speaker A: She calls. She calls managers.
[00:35:23] Speaker C: She from. She's Sicilian.
[00:35:26] Speaker A: No.
[00:35:26] Speaker C: What part of Italy she from?
[00:35:28] Speaker A: She's not from Italy. Did I say I was from Italy?
[00:35:32] Speaker B: Staten Island.
[00:35:32] Speaker C: This is getting weird.
[00:35:34] Speaker B: You really think you're talking to it.
[00:35:38] Speaker C: So.
[00:35:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:38] Speaker C: So the guy with the braids, that happened. And then I.
At this one. It's got to be the biggest rap battle ever.
What do you guys think? What's the.
[00:35:49] Speaker B: I mean, biggest in.
[00:35:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:53] Speaker B: Worldwide.
[00:35:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:55] Speaker B: About it. Yeah. But biggest in hip hop.
[00:35:58] Speaker A: Nah.
[00:35:59] Speaker C: What would be bigger?
[00:36:02] Speaker B: The Big One. Pac and Biggie.
[00:36:04] Speaker C: There was no beef.
[00:36:06] Speaker B: I mean, that's. That's considered a beef. They made songs about each other.
[00:36:10] Speaker C: No, they did not. What song did Biggie make about pop?
[00:36:14] Speaker B: No. If it had two. If I had two kids, it'd probably be Tupac.
[00:36:19] Speaker C: That was about faith. That was a diss to faith. If Faye have twins, she probably have Tupacs. That's a diss to faith. Name me a song Biggie did about Tupac.
[00:36:29] Speaker B: I'm gonna come up with one. Cause I guarantee it wasn't a song. It was a freestyle.
[00:36:33] Speaker C: Give me a freestyle at those times.
[00:36:35] Speaker B: That's where you catch mixtape. That's when they talking all the shit. Well, not the regular songs.
[00:36:40] Speaker C: I'm pretty sure you still got a cassette player. Cause that's the only thing you gonna find it on is a cassette. You gonna be back there like somebody on Spider man trying to damn. Figure out.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: Put your cassette. I guarantee YouTube got something. Go ahead, keep on talking.
[00:36:51] Speaker C: They tried to say that who Shot you was about it.
[00:36:54] Speaker B: Definitely wasn't about him, though.
[00:36:55] Speaker C: Okay, well, there you go.
[00:36:56] Speaker B: No, you try to get me to say that.
[00:36:58] Speaker C: No, I'm just saying. Yeah.
[00:36:59] Speaker B: Yeah, that ain't it.
[00:37:00] Speaker C: But I. I don't know. I think it's the biggest beef. Like, because it's still going on now.
[00:37:05] Speaker B: I think it's bigger because it had a.
[00:37:06] Speaker A: And they got social media behind.
[00:37:08] Speaker B: Why?
[00:37:08] Speaker A: That's exactly why the younger. And then the younger generation is. Is dragging it to all generations.
[00:37:14] Speaker B: All generations is really.
[00:37:16] Speaker C: Yes, they play it on. They play, like, sports shows, bands playing it, and you can't. You can't go nowhere.
[00:37:25] Speaker A: As soon as they Not Like Us came out.
[00:37:27] Speaker C: It's on. T shirt. It's everywhere.
[00:37:29] Speaker B: Yep, you're right.
[00:37:30] Speaker C: It's on. Is it?
[00:37:31] Speaker A: Oh, no.
[00:37:31] Speaker B: That's the only reason I think it's the biggest one. Because the platform is bigger now.
[00:37:36] Speaker C: It is. But the songs were better on both sides. Like.
[00:37:42] Speaker A: Yeah, this is true. Because you remember when Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj had their little fake 15 minutes of beef?
It could have been good, but their songs. Yeah, it didn't. It didn't hit.
[00:37:52] Speaker B: So where are we at?
[00:37:53] Speaker A: I did like Black Friday, though.
[00:37:56] Speaker C: Whose song was that? Look him.
[00:37:57] Speaker A: Look him.
[00:37:58] Speaker C: You would.
[00:37:59] Speaker A: I actually did like that one. No, she was just. She was just straight. She was mean. Oh, my God. Damn.
[00:38:06] Speaker B: So where will we be at with the Jay Z and Nas thing?
That's not a beef.
[00:38:13] Speaker C: It's a beef.
[00:38:13] Speaker A: But it was a beef.
[00:38:14] Speaker C: But it ended. It ended too amicably.
[00:38:17] Speaker B: I think it had a big platform, like, you know, like the one has now.
[00:38:20] Speaker C: No idea.
[00:38:21] Speaker B: It was on a radio. Like, it might have.
[00:38:23] Speaker C: All of them were on the radio.
[00:38:25] Speaker B: No, I mean, like, when they dropped that that night. They played it six times in a row that night.
[00:38:30] Speaker C: Yeah, but, I mean, they played it six times in a row in New York.
[00:38:34] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
[00:38:35] Speaker C: But they didn't play six times in a row everywhere.
[00:38:38] Speaker B: I'm just saying it. It had the potential to be as big as that.
[00:38:42] Speaker A: I think it definitely had the potential. It just didn't make.
[00:38:45] Speaker C: It didn't. Because the word. The songs weren't clean enough.
Now they don't care. Like you.
[00:38:51] Speaker B: I.
[00:38:51] Speaker C: You would hear. Not like us every hour.
[00:38:53] Speaker A: Sensory don't exist anymore.
[00:38:55] Speaker B: Yeah. So we have to. We'll. We had to categorize.
[00:38:57] Speaker C: Like, I. I don't remember hearing Takeover either. On the radio.
[00:39:00] Speaker B: Yeah, they played it all the time. They even played it down here.
[00:39:04] Speaker C: Yeah, Like, I don't remember Super Ugly.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: They played down here. I remember one time, the radio. Something happened with the radio station. It was late at night and they.
[00:39:13] Speaker C: Were playing the dirty version.
[00:39:14] Speaker B: Nah, they played it. It had a loop on it of Super Ugly.
[00:39:18] Speaker C: Yeah. Oh.
[00:39:19] Speaker B: Over and over. Like, I think it was like a holiday night or something like that. It Was crazy.
[00:39:24] Speaker C: The clean version. The dirty version, I guess.
[00:39:26] Speaker B: Clean version. But it was over and over.
[00:39:28] Speaker C: I do remember hearing Super Radio, but they would only play, like, half of it. They wouldn't play it, like, after the beat changed.
Most of the time.
[00:39:36] Speaker A: Super ugly.
[00:39:37] Speaker C: But I still don't think they.
That beef is as big.
[00:39:44] Speaker B: Yeah. That's neither. None of them are as big because of the platforms that's out now that. That reaches a lot more. Yeah. Broader.
[00:39:52] Speaker C: I don't think. Like, I don't think either us or any of the songs Jay did is as good as Family Matters.
Euphoria. What's the song? What's Drake's song Was Family Matters. Right.
[00:40:07] Speaker B: Family Matters, I don't think.
[00:40:08] Speaker C: Or not like us. I don't think either one of those songs are better than those three songs.
[00:40:16] Speaker B: We might be saying that because it's going on now, but give it another 10 years of.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: See, it's gonna be two more.
[00:40:24] Speaker B: If it could stick around as long.
[00:40:25] Speaker A: It'S gonna be somebody else.
[00:40:29] Speaker B: Will it hold the weights the same, you know, 10 years from now?
[00:40:34] Speaker C: Maybe.
Maybe.
[00:40:37] Speaker B: I don't know. I don't know about those Drake songs, but they're not like us. That's just gonna be around. That's gonna be playing stage.
[00:40:43] Speaker C: Yeah, that's. Yeah, that will be.
[00:40:44] Speaker B: That will be.
[00:40:45] Speaker C: And that ain't even the best song out of all of them.
Euphoria. Better than that.
[00:40:50] Speaker B: Yeah. When they.
[00:40:51] Speaker A: They're not like us. It's just the catchiest.
[00:40:53] Speaker C: Yeah. More catchy. Yeah.
[00:40:54] Speaker B: For everybody.
[00:40:55] Speaker C: I hope that ain't no flying roach, Ladybug. Okay. Good job. Ain't nothing more embarrassing than a water bug or a roach being in your.
[00:41:03] Speaker A: House and, like, it's a nasty. That live here.
[00:41:08] Speaker B: I did see you looking on the wall. I was like, what are you looking at?
[00:41:11] Speaker C: No. Well, I was looking up. It was flying. You got a flying roach. Your house real nasty in June.
Okay. The Boston Celtics won the thing. They had a debate.
Trump and Biden.
[00:41:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:41:27] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:41:27] Speaker C: Oh, and that's the one that they sat Biden down for. Yeah. That's when they switched.
[00:41:33] Speaker A: Yeah. And Trump was just like. I don't even know what he just said this whole time. Oh, gosh.
[00:41:39] Speaker C: Yeah. The pop the balloon thing happened in June with the guy that people could start declining him and said he looked like a Ninja Turtle.
[00:41:47] Speaker B: Yeah. He did a hot two girl.
[00:41:50] Speaker A: I don't know why people be going on that popped balloon.
[00:41:54] Speaker C: Let me just go just. I interviewed a girl that went on there.
[00:41:57] Speaker A: Oh, how was that for Her. Did she get popped?
[00:42:00] Speaker C: She did. Well, she. She was one in the. In the row. She was. It was like a group of girls.
[00:42:05] Speaker A: Oh, okay. She was one that popped the balloon. Okay.
[00:42:08] Speaker C: Yeah, I think she got popped before, too, but she said it was cool.
They filming in Arizona and it's a guy, and so the lady that hosts her and her husband, like, put it together. Like, it's a whole bunch of copycats. But some people, like, she told me, like, two of the people that were there.
One of the women, I want to say, she didn't pick the guy, whatever, or. No, they did pick each other. And they were, like, still communicating, but, like, the guy, like, lived in la. She lived in, like, Minnesota or something, or Wisconsin or whatever, but they were still, like, communicating. And she was like. She made, like, a couple. She got. She was cool with a couple girls while she was there, whatever. So, you know, okay. It is what it is. But that one went real big and then hunked to a girl. We did a story about her last week.
[00:42:57] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:57] Speaker C: About her doing the rug pull. Oh, yeah, yeah.
[00:43:03] Speaker A: Of the week.
[00:43:03] Speaker B: Did they find her? Like, she. She came back out. Has it.
[00:43:06] Speaker C: Her show ain't came back out yet?
[00:43:07] Speaker A: No, she's just not filming. She did. She's not running. She's just not putting nothing out because she's. She has to work. She's working with her lawyers and stuff.
[00:43:15] Speaker C: Oh, for the crypto thing?
[00:43:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:43:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:43:18] Speaker A: So she's like, we're trying to figure out what happened. Girl, shut up.
Shut up.
[00:43:24] Speaker C: Then in July was the Olympics.
[00:43:28] Speaker B: What, that lady in the Olympics? Yeah. Break this.
[00:43:31] Speaker C: Yeah, that break dance lady.
[00:43:32] Speaker B: That was terrible.
[00:43:34] Speaker C: I heard somewhere that they said it's a video of her doing break dancing.
[00:43:39] Speaker B: She.
[00:43:39] Speaker C: She. She really can break dance?
[00:43:41] Speaker B: Yeah, they say she can. They said. I think she wasn't prepared and kind of made this up along the way. But this shit was like. It was like.
[00:43:49] Speaker C: Yeah, it looked.
[00:43:50] Speaker A: That was secondhand embarrassment.
[00:43:53] Speaker C: Secondhand embarrassment. I was only embarrassed for, like, the culture, maybe, because I knew, like. Well, I figured, like, they probably won't bring.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: Yeah, that's why I was. That's what the embarrassment was like. Oh, my gosh. They really got this.
[00:44:08] Speaker B: Yeah. It's not going to come back.
[00:44:10] Speaker C: Yeah, it's not. Because the next. The next Olympics is going to be L. A. And they said they're not going to have it in la.
[00:44:16] Speaker B: That would have been hard.
[00:44:17] Speaker C: Yep, that would have been it. But the thing with her was that she.
[00:44:21] Speaker B: Her.
[00:44:21] Speaker C: Her husband, they are basically the, like, you know, you Got committees over certain sports or whatever.
[00:44:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:27] Speaker C: Her. Her husband are basically over the committee of the break dancing of the whole. In Australia. Yeah. And they. He basically. They basically just put her in it for Australia.
[00:44:38] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:44:38] Speaker C: So it ain't like she actually earned her spot there, so. But she is like a break dancing instructor.
She teaches at like a university or some. I read. But, man, I was looking.
[00:44:51] Speaker A: Yeah. When I found out, I'm like, they have break dancing in the Olympics.
[00:44:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:54] Speaker C: This is the first.
[00:44:55] Speaker A: It's crazy.
[00:44:56] Speaker B: I was looking for so many people.
[00:44:57] Speaker A: Then I saw the video. I said, it's never coming back after this. That's crazy.
[00:45:01] Speaker B: That's over.
[00:45:02] Speaker C: You say what?
[00:45:03] Speaker B: I said I was looking for so many people that should have been on there. Like a guy named Junior. He should have definitely been on there, bro. What?
[00:45:12] Speaker C: That just sounds funny as not a.
[00:45:15] Speaker B: Guy named Junior, but like, it could.
[00:45:18] Speaker C: Have been like Junior Hernandez or something like that.
[00:45:21] Speaker B: B boy Junior. I'm sorry.
[00:45:23] Speaker C: Yeah. It's like, I know a guy named Pablo.
This got no name. Leland.
[00:45:29] Speaker B: They should have had my man Leroy on there.
I got you.
[00:45:33] Speaker C: Then the guy that plays second in the shooting competition. The. He had no special gun, no glasses on or nothing. The just came out with shooting.
[00:45:41] Speaker B: One hand.
[00:45:41] Speaker C: One hand shooting all behind the back. Yeah. And then Donald Trump got shot in the ear.
Did he? In July?
[00:45:50] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, in July he came back.
[00:45:52] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. Hit him in glass and like it. Well, I played the whole Skill song, but he was like, his ear healed up real fast. It did, yeah. The people was having the. Going to the rallies with the patch on the ear.
It was a whole bunch of shit, man.
In August.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: That was right around the corner, man.
[00:46:15] Speaker C: The gold medal. The.
The men's and women's basketball team won gold medals.
[00:46:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:46:21] Speaker C: What happened with Nelly in August?
[00:46:23] Speaker A: USA was taking it by storm.
[00:46:25] Speaker B: Did Nelly go to jail or something? He got locked up drunk.
[00:46:28] Speaker C: He was drunk driving. That's what it was. Yeah. He got a dui.
[00:46:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They go a little. Little Woody.
[00:46:34] Speaker C: Yeah. I was gonna save him for last. Oh, Simone Biles. Who is this fat lady?
[00:46:38] Speaker B: Couldn't tell you. That's like social media or something.
[00:46:44] Speaker C: I remember her face, but I can't remember who she was. Somebody emailed us. Y'all looking at the. The calendar?
[00:46:50] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:46:50] Speaker C: Simone Biles, she won a whole bunch. And. Yeah, then Woody. They made this snitch. What happened? Something.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:46:57] Speaker C: They made this snitch famous.
[00:46:59] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I don't have nothing to say about that.
[00:47:04] Speaker C: Yeah, I Like he's, they made him famous for the stuff he was saying in the courtroom.
[00:47:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:47:11] Speaker C: Then when he gets out, they put him on all these tweeting v1 shows and.
[00:47:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know what to say. I, I don't, I don't know the full details of the case to call him a snitch.
I don't know. That's all I gotta say. I don't know if he was snitching. He is famous for his, his antics.
He's famous for his antics, but everybody's saying snitch. But you know, people drop that snitch word on anything. Like.
[00:47:46] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:47:46] Speaker B: You know, like they do. I stumped my toe at B House, man. Why are you snitching on B?
[00:47:52] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, they do put it up.
[00:47:53] Speaker B: Yeah. So I don't know the details of it.
[00:47:57] Speaker C: September, that's when Diddy Soda did the video come out in September, Because I remember him doing.
[00:48:05] Speaker B: That's probably apology video.
[00:48:06] Speaker C: So yeah, he apologized after the video came out because before he had made a post saying, I didn't do it, whatever, I'm innocent, whatever, whatever. Then the video came out. Then he made a apology video.
[00:48:17] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that's the picture from the apology video.
[00:48:19] Speaker C: Yeah. So the video must be. Came out in.
It had to come out in September or August.
[00:48:24] Speaker B: It had to come out.
[00:48:25] Speaker C: Yeah, because that's a picture from the apology video.
[00:48:29] Speaker B: Yeah, that is.
[00:48:30] Speaker C: So he must be. Got arrested in September too then, because a little while after that, that's when he got arrested. Because then they got a picture of the baby oil.
[00:48:37] Speaker B: Well, when, when, when the video came out. He didn't get in trouble for it.
[00:48:41] Speaker C: Not yet. Yeah, but he made the apology.
[00:48:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So we wouldn't be able to track back to when the video dropped.
[00:48:49] Speaker C: Yeah, you can.
[00:48:50] Speaker B: I mean on this, on this calendar.
[00:48:51] Speaker C: Not on the calendar. No, no, because that ain't on here.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: Yeah, on the calendar. Yeah.
[00:48:54] Speaker C: Yeah, but I, but it had to have come out in a month before or two months before, maybe a week before. Because right after the video dropped the next day, he did the, he did the apology.
He did, yeah, he did it like real quick after.
[00:49:09] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I thought he went hiding.
[00:49:12] Speaker C: Nah, I want to say he did it. He did the video, then he went into like some type of hiding.
[00:49:17] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:49:17] Speaker C: He was like going from place to place. You would see him or whatever.
[00:49:21] Speaker B: And Stevie J was out there bike riding.
[00:49:23] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:24] Speaker B: In Miami.
[00:49:25] Speaker C: Uh huh.
Then I guess a couple weeks later, that's when he got arrested.
They went in his House and, you know, did the searches, and that's when they got the baby oil. And it was like. It was a thousand bottles of baby oil.
[00:49:41] Speaker B: Shannon Sharp.
[00:49:42] Speaker A: I know Johnson. Johnson. When I smell Johnson.
[00:49:44] Speaker C: But we'll get to it. We'll get to it. We'll get to it. Okay.
Kamala Harris. I guess that's when she decided to.
[00:49:53] Speaker A: No, she decided to run.
[00:49:55] Speaker C: When did she decide to run it?
[00:49:56] Speaker A: It was like, I want to say the end of June, middle of July.
[00:50:00] Speaker C: Ish. Okay.
[00:50:01] Speaker A: So back that area.
[00:50:02] Speaker C: Okay. Well, back after.
After that debate with them, too.
[00:50:09] Speaker A: Yeah. Maybe even August, but it was definitely the summertime when she. When they.
[00:50:13] Speaker C: She decided. Okay, okay.
And then that's when also when Donald Trump fell for something that was on social media. A little lie about Haitians. Haitian immigrants. Eating. Eating the dogs and the kids and the cats. Yeah. This lady. I don't know this. I forgot who this white lady is.
She killed somebody.
Yeah.
[00:50:39] Speaker B: Yep. She did it.
[00:50:39] Speaker C: She killed somebody.
[00:50:42] Speaker A: Is that Cardi?
[00:50:43] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. It's called I don't care.
[00:50:45] Speaker B: Indeed. I hate that saying.
[00:50:47] Speaker C: And. And did. Yeah.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: And did.
[00:50:50] Speaker C: And do. And will. I hate that because after. After we leave here. Angry chicken and will hand. Will do. I like it. And do.
[00:51:05] Speaker B: Hey, I'll tell you, they're teenage girls, man.
[00:51:08] Speaker C: That's how they talk. They talk in social media.
[00:51:10] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. You gotta hear that all the time. Oh, my gosh.
[00:51:15] Speaker C: And then I don't know if I could take it because I don't, like.
I can probably take it more from teens, though.
[00:51:22] Speaker A: Yeah. Than adults.
[00:51:23] Speaker C: Than adults. Because it's adults that talk in social media.
[00:51:26] Speaker A: Oh, gosh.
[00:51:27] Speaker B: Those are just as bad.
[00:51:28] Speaker A: I can't have conversations with them.
[00:51:30] Speaker C: You ate.
It's cool, you know, from time to time. But it's giving. It's giving.
[00:51:37] Speaker A: It's giving. It's giving broke. It's giving.
[00:51:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:51:43] Speaker B: I guess we could. You could go back to the slang. Slang episode Top five.
[00:51:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
Elle's Top Five.
[00:51:52] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:51:52] Speaker A: And the crazy part is, Anne did I. The first time I heard that was last year on this. This girl did it, but she. She. Her and her child's father, they made like, a little spoof video that I don't think they're really together, but they just made fun of each other in the video together. Like, he was. His son dressed like a clown. And he was like, what are you doing? He said, I dressed like you for Halloween.
And he was like. He was like, yo, you really put that on him. And she was like, and it. Clown ass. But they was.
[00:52:26] Speaker C: I think I saw that they were.
[00:52:27] Speaker A: But they did it together.
[00:52:28] Speaker C: Like, they get, like, backlash.
[00:52:31] Speaker A: Yeah, it was like. No, people thought they were serious. And it was just like, why would he have the camera in his phone and then post it? Like. Yeah, you could tell they would because she was laughing half the time. Like, big smiling. She was like, indeed. Clown ass.
[00:52:44] Speaker B: So Cardi B is the one that made that.
[00:52:46] Speaker A: I thought she was. No, that was my first. The first time I heard and did was that girl.
[00:52:51] Speaker C: No, I don't think Cardi B made.
[00:52:52] Speaker A: Cardi B ain't make up no anything.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: He was saying and did a lot. I don't know what Carter be up here for.
[00:52:57] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:52:58] Speaker A: Probably because that whole her and Offset and then she slept with homeboy or somebody while she was pregnant or whatever.
[00:53:04] Speaker C: That's what it was. Yeah, He. He. Offset had made a tweet about you doing you be sleeping with such and such and such. And her reply was, and did. That's what it was. That's what it was. Yeah.
So you don't know about Mama Shell? You don't know about why Shannon Sharp is on here?
[00:53:20] Speaker B: No, I don't.
[00:53:21] Speaker C: Okay. We about to let you play it.
[00:53:23] Speaker A: Oh, Lord.
[00:53:25] Speaker C: Hold on.
[00:53:26] Speaker A: I thought this was the Take down my glass.
[00:53:29] Speaker C: Michelle, what's your last name?
Johnson. Oh, no, that's the.
[00:53:33] Speaker A: No, that's a spoon. That's a spoon.
[00:53:35] Speaker B: I know what you talking about now.
[00:53:37] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:53:37] Speaker B: Okay. This is when he was apologizing.
[00:53:39] Speaker C: That's when he was apologizing. Yeah. Yeah, that's my machine.
[00:53:45] Speaker B: So do you think it was real?
[00:53:46] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: I mean, hold on.
[00:53:48] Speaker A: Do you think the leak was.
[00:53:49] Speaker B: Do you think it was set up?
[00:53:52] Speaker C: I.
I don't, man. I don't know.
[00:53:55] Speaker B: Explain it to people what it is, because they might not.
[00:53:57] Speaker C: They know, but it was. Shannon Sharpe allegedly goes live on Instagram while he's having sex with a woman named Michelle.
And we know that I have to.
[00:54:10] Speaker A: Keep saying her name.
[00:54:11] Speaker C: Cause he said it at one point. This was like he had an old man. Old man talking.
I'm putting the dick up here.
I'm gonna put the dick up in here. And I was like, God damn.
[00:54:28] Speaker A: No. Then he started growling.
[00:54:30] Speaker C: He was like, ladies, email us djplacmail.com. do you like the growl? It's that one porn dude.
[00:54:39] Speaker B: With the.

[00:55:02] Speaker C: He got it all.
[00:55:03] Speaker B: That dude, he'd be with all the white girls.
[00:55:06] Speaker C: He'd be a white, black, it don't matter. Yeah, I've seen him before.
[00:55:08] Speaker B: The black glasses.

[00:55:12] Speaker B: With the ball head shades.
[00:55:14] Speaker A: Oh, no, he's not talking about him. No, no, it's not him.
[00:55:17] Speaker C: This the guy he got about. He make a lot of noise.
[00:55:21] Speaker A: I thought you were talking about that Shane something.

[00:55:46] Speaker C: Shit, nigga.
[00:55:47] Speaker B: I can't believe you asked me that, though. Like.
[00:55:49] Speaker C: No, I told you.
[00:55:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Pause.
[00:55:51] Speaker C: That's the describing thing in October.
[00:55:56] Speaker A: We just gonna skip over that, y'all. Let's continue.
[00:55:58] Speaker C: What?
[00:56:01] Speaker B: Oh, it all. It all goes back to the truck driver. I missed it waving you on.
[00:56:05] Speaker C: No, it wasn't the truck driver. He was in a car.
[00:56:07] Speaker B: He's in the car.
[00:56:08] Speaker A: He's the truck driver.
[00:56:09] Speaker C: Well, we get it.
[00:56:10] Speaker B: He waved at you.
[00:56:13] Speaker C: Did y'all see Dwayne Wade's the.
[00:56:16] Speaker B: The. The busk bust?
[00:56:18] Speaker C: Yeah. Well, no, it was on the bus. It was a whole statue.
[00:56:21] Speaker B: That was funny as hell.
[00:56:22] Speaker C: Yeah, the. The video of him, I think it was his. Him and his other son.
[00:56:25] Speaker A: That's an actual Dwayne Wade statue.
[00:56:28] Speaker B: Yes, yes.
[00:56:29] Speaker C: Yeah, they say it looked better from a different angle, but yeah, when they.
[00:56:33] Speaker B: When they revealed and the son looked at him or something.
[00:56:36] Speaker C: Yeah, he was like.
[00:56:36] Speaker B: Oh, he was laughing.
[00:56:39] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Young thug got out of jail in.
[00:56:44] Speaker A: October with his Ramen Noodles hair.
[00:56:47] Speaker C: No, that's not the. No, that's.
[00:56:50] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, that's the person.
[00:56:51] Speaker C: Yeah, Dirt got locked up.
[00:56:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:56:53] Speaker C: What happened with Chase?
Something happened with Chase in October.
[00:56:57] Speaker B: Who's Chase?
[00:56:58] Speaker C: Chase Bank. You see the Chase symbol?
[00:57:00] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, I see the. He probably gave some money away or something.
[00:57:04] Speaker C: I can't remember. Email us, DJ Blazer, gmail.com. and then LeBron and Bronnie James play together first father son duo in the NBA.
Yeah.
[00:57:16] Speaker B: Now sit down. Let me finish.
[00:57:18] Speaker A: Oh, J.P. j.P. Morgan Chase settles.
[00:57:20] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:57:21] Speaker A: They had to pay $151 million out for overdraft fees, settlement and stuff. Yeah. For misleading disclosures to brokerage. Brokerage customers.
[00:57:34] Speaker C: Oh, I ain't got no.
And in November, the. The. The election.
We know the outcome of that. Yep, yep. And then the other.
Well, hold up. When did. When did Kendrick and Drake album? I mean, when the kids album dropped? It dropped in November.
[00:57:56] Speaker A: I thought it did. Because that's when everybody started talking about condiments. And then they like, Drake is okay. He. He. He writing about ketchup now. Cause you remember mustache.
[00:58:04] Speaker C: Oh, and then in December, this was a weak one. Cause I think that little boy is the boy that was with finesse two times. And he been going at finesse a little while.
[00:58:15] Speaker B: Oh, they going crazy right now.
[00:58:16] Speaker C: Yeah, that's the little boy. That's him. Okay.
[00:58:18] Speaker B: Lil King.
[00:58:19] Speaker C: Okay. And then now a lot of people talking about Travis Hunter and his girlfriend. Cause it started off his fiance. Oh, okay. Yeah, Fiance. It started out because he said that. Well, she said that when they first met, he wasn't her type.
[00:58:34] Speaker A: And then she went on the NBA players Instagram and left a heart eyes emoji and like a smiley face or something.
[00:58:42] Speaker B: Was it real recently? Yeah.
[00:58:43] Speaker A: Yes, it was real. It was her commenting. And then Bow Wow recently came out talking about it. Like, yo, he's like. He was talking to Travis. Travis.
Not directly, but a video. He said his name. Like, he was like, yo, we know this. Like, men are talking to you because we experienced this, especially with money. Like, don't be a dumb young. Like, please.
[00:59:06] Speaker C: That man has made more money now probably than Bow Wow has.
[00:59:11] Speaker A: No, not yet.
[00:59:13] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:59:13] Speaker A: How much?
What's his contract right now?
[00:59:17] Speaker C: He bought his mama house. He bought a house in. In Colorado already?
Like, all the deals he got. Yeah, I think he got more money than Bow Wow right now.
[00:59:28] Speaker A: I mean, right now. But overall, I'm talking. I was talking about overall. Bow wow.
[00:59:33] Speaker B: That kid.
[00:59:34] Speaker C: Bow wow.
[00:59:34] Speaker B: That Bow wow kid. Bo.
[00:59:36] Speaker A: His screen tours.
[00:59:37] Speaker C: Who made the money?
[00:59:39] Speaker B: Bow wow.
[00:59:39] Speaker A: Bow wow. He had paid.
[00:59:41] Speaker C: He. You sure?
[00:59:42] Speaker A: I can't.
[00:59:44] Speaker C: He don't look too rich to me.
[00:59:45] Speaker A: No, no. He didn't handle it right. And then he had parent. He had his parents.
[00:59:49] Speaker C: They stole. So they stole his money.
[00:59:51] Speaker A: I'm not saying that.
[00:59:52] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:59:53] Speaker A: But bills had to be paid.
[00:59:55] Speaker C: Okay, we'll see then.
[00:59:59] Speaker A: But I just. I think. I think it's good that they're trying to. All the guys are talking about it like they.
[01:00:04] Speaker C: Like this kid's night. No, he's 21. Why are y'all worrying about it? Even if she do take half, he's still gonna be all right. If he take half of your money, you going back to live with your mama. So let the kid live his life and make his own mistake. Yeah, at this point, he'll probably.
[01:00:20] Speaker B: He.
[01:00:20] Speaker C: By the end of his career, he'll probably make like $600 million, $700 million.
[01:00:24] Speaker A: And about 20 mistakes probably.
[01:00:27] Speaker C: So.
[01:00:27] Speaker A: Yeah, they all do.
[01:00:28] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying?
[01:00:28] Speaker A: It's okay.
[01:00:29] Speaker C: Well, they all don't.
[01:00:31] Speaker A: Not all, but a lot. A lot. So a couple of handfuls.
[01:00:34] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:00:35] Speaker C: There you go. That's better. There you go.
Luigi, he killed the. You was a UnitedHealthcare CEO.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:00:43] Speaker C: His name Brian something. I just saw a little clip of that video, too, today for the first time. Yeah. I don't be wanting to watch. No. Like that.
[01:00:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:00:54] Speaker C: Yeah. So everybody love Luigi.
[01:00:57] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[01:00:58] Speaker C: Yeah. Which is crazy. And then the Jay Z allegations that.
[01:01:03] Speaker A: We just came about last week as.
[01:01:04] Speaker C: Well, they came out, and now they kind of dying down.
[01:01:09] Speaker A: That shouldn't be quick.
[01:01:10] Speaker C: He did. But if you go to comments on certain stuff, like Beyonce stuff, white people, they believe it wholeheartedly. You're going down with your nasty husband and all kind of like that.
[01:01:22] Speaker A: Because they was mad about her Super Bowl. I mean, halftime performance.
[01:01:26] Speaker C: So that was a year.
It was pretty.
[01:01:30] Speaker B: It was a smooth year.
[01:01:32] Speaker A: How did everyone feel about the year?
[01:01:34] Speaker B: It wasn't like, damn, what was the 2020. 22. 2020. 2020 was chaotic. Not just the COVID Everything.
[01:01:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:01:46] Speaker C: Nothing happened in 2020. Okay. What happened in 2020 in your mind.
[01:01:51] Speaker B: That you remember went crazy around that time.
[01:01:53] Speaker C: It did, but nothing else happened, though. I mean, people was dying. But before it.
[01:01:58] Speaker B: Covid started in March.
[01:01:59] Speaker C: Yeah, that's when the lockdown.
[01:02:00] Speaker A: It actually. Yeah, the lockdown happened in March. But I heard about COVID in January when I was in Atlanta.
[01:02:08] Speaker C: We talked about COVID on this show in, like, November.
[01:02:12] Speaker A: Yeah, it was. It was. It has started happening already.
[01:02:15] Speaker C: It was a lady in Seattle, she had went to a house party, and nine people at the house party had got sick. It was, like, maybe 30 people there, and they were like, you know, we need to watch this. Whatever. Whatever that was back in November. And then, you know, fast forward to March, and they had to shut the whole.
[01:02:35] Speaker B: Like, that was enough to happen.
[01:02:39] Speaker C: That was what people were saying. Like, it Was whatever they was like, they didn't know what it was.
How fast it, like, just spread to that many people in that one place. Like, somebody need to do something about it.
[01:02:51] Speaker A: Kobe died in 2022.
[01:02:53] Speaker C: He did that? No, no. I was thinking about this year. But yeah, yeah, he did that in 2020.
[01:02:59] Speaker A: I was in the airport.
[01:03:01] Speaker B: Happened in 2020. But that covet right there. He.
[01:03:04] Speaker C: Yeah, he died.
[01:03:06] Speaker A: He died in January.
[01:03:07] Speaker C: January or February.
[01:03:08] Speaker A: January, January. I was coming from. I had just flew back from Atlanta, and everybody was waiting. Their suitcase, their luggage. And then the news, it broadcasted, like, 9, 11.
And everybody just froze. It was like Superman died.
[01:03:25] Speaker C: I went to.
[01:03:26] Speaker A: It was crazy in that. In that airport.
[01:03:28] Speaker C: I went to woods, not Woodstone. What's the. Holy smoking? And I had ordered some food. I was sitting at the bar, and it was like a. Was it a. I think it was a football game that was on. And at the bottom, it came across at the bottom, and I was like, that shit. Just say Kobe Bryant. Yeah.
[01:03:43] Speaker A: It's like, what the fuck?
[01:03:45] Speaker C: No. TMZ put it out on the way to Holy Smoking. TMZ put it out first. And I was like, that shit can't be true. And then by the time I got to Holy Smoking, I saw it on the bottom, I was like, damn, that shit true. For real.
[01:03:57] Speaker B: So is that on your top five list? That's coming up.
[01:04:01] Speaker C: I didn't wanna tune in two weeks.
Well, I guess we're gonna have to do this Wednesday.
Happy New Year.
But, yeah, that is on my list. But, yeah, so, yeah, that did happen in 2020. I'm trying to think of what else happened before.
Before 2020, before March.
[01:04:26] Speaker A: No, everything happened.
[01:04:28] Speaker B: But, I mean, we don't have a calendar in front of us. But Covid, by itself, that summed up the whole year. If nothing else happened, Covid happened.
[01:04:36] Speaker C: But I'm saying, like, before then. I know Kobe died, but I'm trying to think of something else that was, like, big before that.
[01:04:43] Speaker B: It was too long ago. It was. Damn. Two years ago. You already hit three years ago now.
[01:04:47] Speaker C: That was four years ago.
[01:04:49] Speaker B: Oh, where are we at?
[01:04:50] Speaker A: Yeah, you're about to be five years.
[01:04:52] Speaker C: It's almost five years ago. Yeah, yeah, you said that with your chest, too. I looked at you to see if you was joking.
[01:04:57] Speaker B: Cause you know what?
Just how, like, you made a mistake with 2022. I was still in my head.
[01:05:04] Speaker C: I got you. I got you. Yeah. Yeah.
Y'all feel like doing other stories?
[01:05:09] Speaker B: Nah, them.
[01:05:10] Speaker C: Okay, how about these quick hits then?
[01:05:14] Speaker B: Yeah, there we go.
[01:05:14] Speaker C: We'll get some quick hits before we get out of here. I'll save the.
[01:05:19] Speaker A: That's correct. Right? Okay.
[01:05:21] Speaker C: We'll save the My scam of the week for next. What? For the week after next.
[01:05:27] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[01:05:32] Speaker A: And if you heard that car crash, it is now time for quick hits.
Should I talk like Carol? Carol's gonna deliver quick hits today.
I just want everybody to know what's going on quickly. You see how I did that there, right? So celebrity radio co host. Because he has a co host, Charlamagne opens up a crystal in Orangeburg, South Carolina, next to hbcu. Isn't that fantastic?
[01:05:58] Speaker C: Y'all know the day that I told my family dollar story?
[01:06:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:03] Speaker C: That was the same day. Like I was in. It happened in Orangeburg at a family dollar. And that was the same time they were down there doing that.
[01:06:10] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[01:06:10] Speaker C: Yeah, it was on Thursday. No, I didn't go. Cause I was working, but. Oh, word.
[01:06:14] Speaker A: But you just saw it happening. You saw it being built.
[01:06:16] Speaker C: Well, no, I knew he was gonna be. He had said earlier in the week on the radio that he was gonna be in Orangeburg opening up his crystals on Thursday or whatever. So I knew. So I was like, I got down there, I was like, oh, shit. And I looked at it. They was like, they gonna have the grand opening. It was gonna be from 10 to 2.
[01:06:30] Speaker A: Yeah. He said it's the first of many.
[01:06:33] Speaker C: Shout out Charlemagne.
[01:06:35] Speaker A: But anyway, I know that's. Congratulations, black man.
Next, some bad news. OG Mako dies at 32 from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
[01:06:48] Speaker B: I see you. I see you.
[01:06:49] Speaker A: Who are these?
So OG he is most famous for his. His song, you guessed it. So it starts like you guessed it.
Use right. Use right.
[01:07:07] Speaker C: Wow. Such artistic.
Such an artistic powerhouse. He's gone too soon. We gonna miss him.
[01:07:17] Speaker B: Come on, man.
[01:07:19] Speaker C: That's our cousin or something.
[01:07:21] Speaker A: Sam B.
[01:07:21] Speaker B: He has some hits, man.
[01:07:23] Speaker A: You didn't have to be so hurt about it.
[01:07:26] Speaker C: So on the list of like top songs.
[01:07:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:07:29] Speaker C: This is how you know. So it had on. This is on title. So it had. You guessed it. It had another song at 2F them or something like that. And then at 3, it had, you guessed it, remix with two chains. The remix should not be the number three best song you got. I'm sorry, but go ahead on.
[01:07:45] Speaker B: I would say that's a good argument right there.
[01:07:47] Speaker A: That's a really good argument.
[01:07:49] Speaker B: That was a good one.
[01:07:49] Speaker A: Okay. B. You're so smart.
[01:07:51] Speaker C: I am.
[01:07:51] Speaker B: I wouldn't go that far.
[01:07:52] Speaker A: No.
[01:07:55] Speaker C: I was valedictorian Were you really? Yeah. Jolly land.
Shout out to Ms. Wingate. You know what I'm saying? She wouldn't let me. She wouldn't let me read the. The valedictorian speech because it. She wouldn't change it because it was what America means to me. And we ain't really with America like that. You know what I'm saying? So.
[01:08:15] Speaker A: Are you serious?
[01:08:16] Speaker C: Yeah. That was the speech I had to read.
[01:08:18] Speaker A: House nobody.
[01:08:19] Speaker C: Five years old.
[01:08:20] Speaker A: Oh, you were five. Oh, okay.
[01:08:23] Speaker C: Now, y'all heard that. Read the speech at five years old. Y'all can't do that. Couldn't do it. And some of y'all kids can't either. Anyway, go ahead.
[01:08:31] Speaker B: Hey, man, you supposed to be positive? You like positive?
[01:08:33] Speaker C: Oh, come on. I do.
[01:08:34] Speaker B: That wasn't positive.
[01:08:35] Speaker C: Can I pop my. About how smart I was at five years old, knowing my own timetables and making me valedictorian? That was Wingate.
[01:08:43] Speaker B: Jalaland know my time tables.
[01:08:44] Speaker C: Yeah, my time tables. That what it was. Shout out to. Shout out to Ms. Wingate and everybody at the center. Y'all know about the center in deton. Anyway, I'm sorry.
[01:08:52] Speaker A: Okay. And our last quick hit, the Baby Driver. And he's not the actual baby driver, but he was the young baby driver. Actor Hudson meek dies at 16 after falling from a moving vehicle. So traumatic and tragic for his family.
Who are these?
[01:09:12] Speaker B: I mean, who was he?
[01:09:14] Speaker A: He was the actor. So you remember the movie Baby Driver, the main character.
[01:09:18] Speaker C: Is that the one that gotta put the headphones in? Yes.
[01:09:21] Speaker B: And the gloves.
[01:09:22] Speaker A: Yes. So the main actor, the older one is Ansel Elgort.
[01:09:27] Speaker C: Was Jamie Foxx in this movie?
[01:09:29] Speaker A: Yes, he was. He was the bad guy.
[01:09:31] Speaker C: Cat Williams.
[01:09:32] Speaker B: I knew it.
[01:09:33] Speaker C: Cat Williams.
[01:09:34] Speaker A: Cut the shits.
[01:09:35] Speaker B: He knew it.
[01:09:36] Speaker A: Cut your shit.
[01:09:37] Speaker B: The first Jamie.
[01:09:39] Speaker A: Oh, Lord.
[01:09:40] Speaker C: Hell, yo.
Yeah. What's. What's. What we listening to this week? What's something to drop?
[01:09:46] Speaker B: All right, well, this week's album that I checked out this week or album you can check out this week was Muddy Waters 2.
It was by Redman, the Funk Doctor spot. Definitely a. A good album to listen to. It was.
[01:10:03] Speaker C: Jones would love it.
[01:10:04] Speaker B: He would. I think he would. He definitely would. Muddy Waters 1 was the album they say Save Def Jam.
[01:10:12] Speaker C: Really?
[01:10:13] Speaker B: Yeah, they said Def Jam was going under. Muddy Waters came out and it basically 30 years ago, 1996. So 42.
[01:10:23] Speaker C: 20, 28 years ago.
[01:10:25] Speaker B: Yeah. So this is the follow up album.
How many years later? 18 years later.
[01:10:34] Speaker C: He didn't put out a whole bunch in between, though.
[01:10:35] Speaker B: Yes. He did. He did. And it was. They were cool. Who.
[01:10:38] Speaker C: Who has come out with an album that, like, has something too that's been real good? Like.
Well, I guess Volume two was good. But what's the two that's been good? Like the Carter.
[01:10:50] Speaker B: Jay Z. Oh, the Jay Z.
[01:10:52] Speaker C: Like Muddy Waters two.
What's another two?
[01:10:56] Speaker B: Another two. That's definitely a Jones question right there. That's. That's a good one.
[01:11:02] Speaker C: Ah, my bad. Anyway, continue.
[01:11:03] Speaker B: Yeah, you got me on that. Real off top of my head. But this is a good, good album.
I got probably three or four songs that I really listened to over and over. The first one is track six, La La La, featuring Met the Man.
And I like this album because it had the jokey jokes, like Red man raps. You know, he talk about, you know, fat girls and stuff like that, in a jokingly way. But it also had that grittiness that Redman had back in the day.
A lot of features.
[01:11:42] Speaker C: It was.
[01:11:43] Speaker B: It was a good one. Track 13 was another one.
I think this track had a sample on it that really drew me to it, or the style of his rapping. But it's called I'm that.
[01:11:57] Speaker C: I'm that. I'm not on number 13.
[01:12:00] Speaker B: I'm not.
[01:12:01] Speaker C: I'm on that.
[01:12:02] Speaker B: I'm on that. Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah, I'm on the.
[01:12:05] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I'm that.
[01:12:09] Speaker A: Wow.
I was like, he's. I knew we weren't that sassy man Apocalypse, but I didn't think it was getting that noble.
[01:12:18] Speaker C: I'm that.
[01:12:18] Speaker B: Hey, I'm about to hit y'all with one of them. Saying not too much now.
[01:12:24] Speaker C: I'm that.
My favorite number. Number 13.
[01:12:29] Speaker A: I'm Antoine Meriwether, and I watch Baddies.
[01:12:32] Speaker C: Oh, okay. Oh, now, see, I didn't do that.
[01:12:35] Speaker A: My turn.
[01:12:36] Speaker C: That was a me. That was a me.
[01:12:38] Speaker B: That's what we doing. Okay.
[01:12:39] Speaker C: Yeah. All right.
[01:12:41] Speaker B: Well, go and listen to it. Muddy Waters 2 t o o is spelled so you can find it. All platforms shout out to all the people that was on it. Queen Latifah, Lords of the Undergrounds.
[01:12:54] Speaker C: Stop, stop, stop. Don't say no more names.
I feel like I need to listen to this with liniment. Laws of the Underground.
[01:13:02] Speaker B: I mean, if you are, it's a two. Cool. It's, you know, it's. It's that style from 96.
[01:13:09] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:13:10] Speaker B: If you're a listener.
[01:13:11] Speaker C: Oh, he got Apeon Crockett on here.
[01:13:13] Speaker B: That is so funny.
[01:13:14] Speaker C: He might be the youngest person.
[01:13:16] Speaker B: Nah, that he Did a skit of. That's another thing about this album. It had all skits. Albums don't have skits no more.
[01:13:23] Speaker C: That's Red man for you, though.
[01:13:24] Speaker B: And that's what it made it. A good piece. I think they got probably three.
[01:13:29] Speaker C: Jesus Christ.
[01:13:30] Speaker B: Three music videos on there.
[01:13:31] Speaker C: He emptied the clip on this 20.
[01:13:33] Speaker B: Some. 20 tracks, 32.
[01:13:35] Speaker C: Yeah. Shout out to Red man, though. Yeah.
