[00:01:39] Speaker A: Or heck.
[00:01:40] Speaker C: Heck, whatever.
It was really long.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: What made it so long?
[00:01:46] Speaker C: I had to help my brother and his family move into their new apartment.
[00:01:50] Speaker A: Did they pay you in chicken?
[00:01:53] Speaker C: Yeah, they actually did.
[00:01:54] Speaker A: Oh, that's the normal thing. That's what people do. They pay you in chicken?
[00:01:58] Speaker C: No, they, you know, we got food for the kids. We got pizza for the kids. While the move was happening, they was like, you want some? I'm not really a big fan of pizza anymore.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: Oh. Cause the best pizza got pork on it?
[00:02:10] Speaker C: No.
[00:02:11] Speaker A: Pepperoni and sausage. Italian sausage.
[00:02:15] Speaker C: No, no.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: What's the best pizza? Chicken pizza?
[00:02:18] Speaker C: No, just New York. New York pizza.
[00:02:20] Speaker A: New York pizza. Got what?
[00:02:22] Speaker C: Straight up cheese for me.
[00:02:24] Speaker A: Ah, please.
[00:02:25] Speaker C: But I just. I just wound up asking for chicken.
[00:02:29] Speaker A: What kind of chicken did you get? It's very vital.
[00:02:32] Speaker C: Boneless barbecue chicken.
[00:02:34] Speaker A: Boneless barbecue. I ever had barbecue chicken in a while. Like homemade barbecue chicken.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: Honey barbecue.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: Honey barbecue. Look at the big brain on bread.
[00:02:43] Speaker B: Where'd you get that from, huh?
[00:02:44] Speaker C: Where they get it from?
[00:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah. That can't be good.
[00:02:47] Speaker C: No, it was okay. Papa Jones.
[00:02:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: That.
[00:02:50] Speaker B: The chicken on it? Probably.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Oh, you got a boneless. You got a barbecue chicken pizza.
[00:02:54] Speaker C: No.
[00:02:55] Speaker A: Oh, you just got chicken from Papa John's chicken.
[00:02:57] Speaker C: Yes. Yeah.
[00:02:57] Speaker A: Oh, you got. You got the toppings. I got you boneless. You got boneless chicken.
[00:03:02] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:03:03] Speaker A: Barbecue sauce.
[00:03:06] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:03:07] Speaker A: Okay. I was thinking like, you know.
[00:03:08] Speaker C: Y'all thinking a pizza?
[00:03:09] Speaker A: No, no. At first I was thinking like barbecue chicken. Like a person made it in the oven.
[00:03:13] Speaker C: Oh, no, no.
[00:03:14] Speaker A: But then, no.
[00:03:15] Speaker C: We were moving. Nobody could cook nothing.
[00:03:16] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:03:17] Speaker C: So I'm just like, I'm. I'm tired, y'all.
[00:03:21] Speaker A: Well, you better Find some energy for at least an hour and a half.
[00:03:24] Speaker C: I'm here.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: Wonderful.
Elle.
[00:03:27] Speaker B: Yo. Yo.
[00:03:28] Speaker A: How are you?
[00:03:29] Speaker B: Cooling. Cooling.
[00:03:30] Speaker A: How was your week?
[00:03:31] Speaker B: It was pretty good. It was pretty good. You know, another week down, little vacation going on.
[00:03:36] Speaker A: Okay. What you gonna do for your vacation?
[00:03:39] Speaker B: Kick my feet back.
[00:03:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I plan on having a really good vacation.
[00:03:45] Speaker B: Yeah?
[00:03:46] Speaker A: Really sit back up in it.
[00:03:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Or.
[00:03:51] Speaker C: That's great for you. I'm happy for you.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: Wonderful. Yeah, we appreciate you.
[00:03:54] Speaker C: How was your week?
[00:03:56] Speaker A: So last week, after we recorded our show, I did Music Jones podcast. During the show, I had a phone call from one of my homies or whatever. And then when I stepped outside, me, Jones and Wallace, we were talking and Jones got a phone call. And it was somebody we went to school with. High school with.
Their family is well known in the area. It's a lot of them, too. But one of our homeboys, Eugene, his father, we found out his father was killed the night before last Saturday. So that kind of hit it. So we were talking to them and their family pretty much all week. Then I had a.
My cousin, she passed last week, so we had her funeral. Well, last week I guess we had her funeral. So sorry to hear that.
[00:04:51] Speaker C: How are you doing with all of that?
[00:04:53] Speaker A: You know, that's a lot alive, you know what I'm saying? So I can't say I'm.
I don't. Like, I can't be more sad than the family, the closest people to it. Like, even if I feel horrible, I gauge mine, like, okay, the mama is this sad, then I'm gonna be. I can't be more sad than the mama or the brother or the children. So, you know, but it is tragic, you know what I'm saying? To have death, you know what I'm saying? Especially in your family. And both of those were deaths that weren't. Like, the people weren't sick. Like, they weren't laid up in the hospital for a long time. Whatever, Whatever. So it was all tragic, especially the jeans. His dad was just washing his face.
[00:05:36] Speaker C: Where did that happen?
[00:05:37] Speaker A: It happened in Darlington at a car.
[00:05:38] Speaker B: Oh, that was that guy.
[00:05:39] Speaker C: They had it on the news. Yeah, I heard they caught the second suspect.
[00:05:44] Speaker A: Yeah, 15 year old and a 22 year old. Yep. So that's the good thing about it. They did catch the guys. They ain't out here terrorizing. I don't want to say senior citizens, but technically he was a senior citizen, you know what I'm saying? Retired. He was just watching his 73.
[00:05:58] Speaker C: Yeah, 73 is. That's young Today.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it is.
[00:06:03] Speaker C: It is.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: But you. I was thinking, like, 73 sounded old when we were, like, in our 20s.
[00:06:10] Speaker C: It really did.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: The closer you get to 73. Still young. He was still driving.
[00:06:15] Speaker C: No. Cause I look at my aunt and she be moving.
[00:06:19] Speaker A: Yeah, she be moving. But you close to her age. No, you close to 73. You closer to 73 today than you were yesterday. I tell you that goddamn much. It's one day closer, one day closer.
And one day closer to the grave.
[00:06:34] Speaker C: Oh, gosh.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: Every last one of us.
[00:06:37] Speaker C: I'm a vampire.
[00:06:40] Speaker A: We got a couple emails, y'all. Oh, shit. One just came in, like, a few minutes ago. So we got a few now. We do. I didn't want to tell y'all this, but we not gonna do the list episode this week. Cause everybody had a lot going on.
[00:06:54] Speaker C: It was.
[00:06:54] Speaker A: There's a lot going on.
[00:06:55] Speaker C: I wish I would have been able to help come up with a list.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: But, yeah, yeah, Elle had one. A good one, which would have been good, especially with the super bowl, but we just didn't have time to really play. Cause y'all, you don't just come to a podcast and just be talking. We do plan. We plan.
[00:07:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: We research, read some stuff here and there. You know what I'm saying? But so. So we do have an email about the top five video games. Y'all want to read it on this episode or wait till.
[00:07:22] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, let's read it.
[00:07:24] Speaker A: Let's read on this. Okay.
[00:07:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:25] Speaker A: All right, so the first one is from the homie Mel. Shout out to Mel. Now. I'll say, Mel got the best coleslaw I have ever had. Mel, he do, like, barbecue ribs and all kind of stuff like that coleslaw he had one time. I had it one time. He ain't bought quarterback mail. I need a coleslaw. Anyway, shout out to Mel, right? He said. He said this is a lazy email. He said, what's good, crew? This is a lazy ass email where I'ma just drop notes from the last show. And he threw the shrug shoulder emoji. Say one. L said, like, no. He said, l say, how. I'm sorry. L say, he like how Kanye walk around with that slave left my ass off.
[00:08:08] Speaker B: 2.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Hell. Hell, Bo say 3. I caught the latest chapter of y'all boys erotical novel, right?
Veiny member.
Definitely run that cartoons list. Then the cartoon character one.
[00:08:24] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:08:25] Speaker A: All right.
The way l say he come out of that sleep paralysis.
That was his notified shout out to you, Mel. We appreciate that email the Next one is from the homie. Philly.
It's from the worst. What did I say? The worst dream ever.
[00:08:43] Speaker B: To pee peeing on yourself.
[00:08:44] Speaker A: Yeah, that was the worst dream ever. Yeah. He put worst decision ever. But nobody's perfect. Not even you, Philly. Say your Bull, your L, your Corey. You keep shooting the three ball. Hand down, man down. Mark Jackson, voice. What? I was talking about shooting.
[00:08:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:08:58] Speaker B: You said you took a shot.
[00:08:59] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I took a shot. I did. I took a shot yesterday, too.
[00:09:01] Speaker B: Did you?
[00:09:02] Speaker A: Nah, I missed. Cause the nigga that was guarding me, he was like, six, seven. So I had shot. I went up to turn around, shoot, and he was there, so I had to double pump. They was like, ooh, good shot. But I missed, so. And I didn't shoot no more.
[00:09:14] Speaker C: Why have you against a 6 foot 7 guy?
[00:09:18] Speaker A: Cause I'm like, you know, I'm like Rodman. I'm like Barkley. I'm there for the defense. I'm there to get niggas out of the paint.
[00:09:24] Speaker C: Okay?
[00:09:24] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? That type of shit I did make the dude. So on the other end of the court, he had got the ball for one. He tried to post me up. That ain't gonna happen, Cal. So I pushed him out the paint, and he got the ball. And I was just on him, you know, tight defense.
[00:09:41] Speaker C: Put your hands tight.
[00:09:43] Speaker A: Tight defense on him.
You know, strong man lift weights.
And it was like, did I get this?
His teammates, they was like. They was like, hey, man, that's a foul. That's a file. And the dude was like.
He stumbled and he. They called the travel. I thought they called foul. I was like, my bad, man. Did I hit you in the face? He's like, nah, you good. And then it was like, it's our ball, B. I was like, oh, shit. Yeah. Yeah. So I did cause a turnover.
[00:10:15] Speaker B: So that's the new thing.
[00:10:16] Speaker A: What?
[00:10:17] Speaker B: Defense hands.
[00:10:18] Speaker A: Defense hands. You got a defense hands? Yeah, I'm gonna play defense hands today.
[00:10:22] Speaker C: Come on, Lou.
[00:10:23] Speaker A: Defense hand. Cory, come on.
[00:10:25] Speaker C: I'm not doing that.
[00:10:28] Speaker A: I'm like, jazz hands.
[00:10:29] Speaker B: So about you all right? Yeah.
[00:10:33] Speaker A: He said, corey, women definitely get happy in this. You must be going to the wrong places to get your services rendered.
[00:10:39] Speaker C: I am good on that. I don't want that happy ending from a stranger.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: That's because you never had one.
[00:10:44] Speaker B: From a stranger.
[00:10:44] Speaker C: From a stranger. I don't want no happy ending.
[00:10:46] Speaker B: Close your eyes. It's whoever you want it to be.
[00:10:48] Speaker A: They see you naked. They're not a stranger.
[00:10:50] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:10:51] Speaker A: Well, how strange is that?
[00:10:53] Speaker B: It's Rihanna.
[00:10:54] Speaker A: So from jokes on DJ Unk to Irv Gotti, ain't nothing to murder now. Oh, I did say that. Y'all are cold blooded. It was too soon. I'm sorry. I got another one.
[00:11:03] Speaker B: I got another one for this week.
[00:11:04] Speaker A: Somebody died this week.
[00:11:05] Speaker B: Yeah, Groove from Groove. Be chill.
[00:11:08] Speaker C: Word.
[00:11:09] Speaker A: Not groove.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: That's the drunk one from house party.
[00:11:11] Speaker A: Not groove.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: Yeah, Groove.
[00:11:13] Speaker A: Lord. No, not groove. No, not Groove, Lord. No.
[00:11:16] Speaker C: Groove died.
[00:11:17] Speaker A: Take me with him, Lord, yesterday. Not chill.
[00:11:20] Speaker B: Chill is the one.
[00:11:20] Speaker A: Chill is in the wheelchair.
[00:11:21] Speaker B: Wheelchair. So he was close to it.
[00:11:24] Speaker A: Yeah, cuz he got in the wreck or something.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: He's been.
[00:11:27] Speaker A: He been working?
[00:11:28] Speaker C: Yeah, he been working.
[00:11:29] Speaker A: Yeah, he got all the.
[00:11:30] Speaker C: He's literally been working.
[00:11:31] Speaker B: He got all the toys.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: What do you mean?
[00:11:34] Speaker B: Slingshots and stuff like that. He's still out playing.
[00:11:37] Speaker A: He.
[00:11:38] Speaker B: He can drive it.
[00:11:39] Speaker A: He can't drive no motorcycle. The Eagles got it done. Super bowl champs. Fly, Eagles, fly. Appreciate the shout outs.
[00:11:46] Speaker C: Everybody was very happy with that win.
[00:11:48] Speaker A: Nah, they just. Yeah, they was just hating on the Chiefs.
[00:11:52] Speaker B: They was whooping ass.
[00:11:53] Speaker A: Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Them the only people they don't like on that team.
And I don't know why people don't like Taylor Swift because of Kanye.
[00:12:06] Speaker C: I don't know why people. I don't have a against Taylor.
[00:12:10] Speaker A: I can see if like racist white people don't like her. But black people should like her.
[00:12:15] Speaker C: She don't. She don't be doing nothing.
[00:12:16] Speaker A: Nah, she don't do nothing.
[00:12:18] Speaker B: Why black people should like her?
[00:12:20] Speaker C: You just be chilling.
[00:12:21] Speaker A: She. She was like, for Kamala. She'll like come out for black.
[00:12:26] Speaker B: But they didn't like her before this.
[00:12:28] Speaker C: Yeah, like, yeah, people hate her on you. They always talk about her dating history and it's just like, y'all know how many female celebrities be out here?
[00:12:36] Speaker A: That's ironic. Cause last night there was an episode of Family Guy and she was supposedly had dated like Chris wanted that date for the prom. He messaged her. He went on a date with her and it was cool. He started liking her. He was gonna get her a gift or whatever. And then she turned around, wrote a song about a fat slob. And it was crazy. It was funny how they did it. But you know, the thing is she just get in relationships to break up so she can make songs or whatever. But yeah, that was ironic that that was on last night. Said that's crazy. The reporter from Kansas City got killed trying to buy some pussy down New Orleans for the super bowl on Telemando. Not the way any man wants to go out. I don't know if he was buying the pussy, though.
[00:13:18] Speaker B: It was a setup. You see what she looked like?
[00:13:20] Speaker C: How'd she get in his room?
[00:13:22] Speaker A: I mean, it was a Super Bowl. Maybe he hollered at her. They didn't say she was a prostitute.
[00:13:26] Speaker C: Yeah, but he was clearly looking for something.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: I can't. I can't. As I want to say, I'm a responsible journalist, so I'm not gonna say because it wasn't in the article.
[00:13:39] Speaker C: He should have stuck to his job.
[00:13:41] Speaker A: He should have stuck to his own kind. That way he get for messing with them women.
[00:13:48] Speaker C: All right, that was a hard r.
[00:13:50] Speaker A: He down there trying to get a little gal otela.
He said, that's real high, star. Hope you had some prop bets and didn't just lay everything on the Chiefs to win. Another good episode. Can't wait to hear the next regular Enlist Jones. Shout out to you, Philly.
[00:14:08] Speaker B: Yep, yep.
[00:14:10] Speaker A: We got another email. This is from the homie Yoshi from the Relationship Status podcast. We listening out for them. They're coming back.
[00:14:18] Speaker B: Got into it soon, yo, get bored.
[00:14:20] Speaker A: And this is for video games.
He said, what's up, team? Hope y'all had a great week. B got his physical play on the other day. I told you.01 and the rebound in two minutes ain't bad. See, I told y'all.
[00:14:33] Speaker C: Oh, he went to your game.
[00:14:35] Speaker A: Yeah, he was at the game.
[00:14:36] Speaker B: Says coach.
[00:14:37] Speaker A: Yeah, he the coach. So, you know, hey, I had to get physical with them boys. I had to tell them boys, y'all letting them get by you. You gotta get tough.
[00:14:44] Speaker B: Go ahead and drop them hands on them one more time.
[00:14:46] Speaker C: Put your hands down.
[00:14:48] Speaker A: See the hands got the Jordan. You see my finger? I got the Jordan finger.
[00:14:52] Speaker B: Not the.
[00:14:52] Speaker A: Not the Jordan finger.
And I took that personally. So here's his top five video games. Say, number five, Techno Bowl.
[00:14:59] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:15:00] Speaker A: Yo, but he wrote Technobo, which is. I don't know if he did that as a joke.
[00:15:05] Speaker B: It's tech mobo.
[00:15:06] Speaker A: It's tech mobo. But we used to say Techno Bow back in the day. Used to it up like Tendo.
[00:15:11] Speaker B: Nintendo.
[00:15:12] Speaker A: Nintendo.
[00:15:13] Speaker B: That's what your parents call it.
[00:15:14] Speaker A: Call it Nintendo. Get that Tendo out of here.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: Get that.
[00:15:16] Speaker A: I got a PlayStation 7. Get that tendo out of here.
[00:15:20] Speaker B: Nintendo.
[00:15:21] Speaker C: Okay.
My father played super Techno bowl all the time.
[00:15:26] Speaker A: And that's the thing. You said super Techno Bowl. Now, super was the first one you could fumble regular Techno Bowl. Damn. I said it, too. Technoboom.
[00:15:35] Speaker C: You really did.
[00:15:39] Speaker A: He said NBA Live.
[00:15:41] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:15:42] Speaker A: Live is a good series.
Yeah. But 2K just took over.
He said he got a tie here. Sonic or Super Mario Bros. For number three.
[00:15:53] Speaker B: Yeah, Sonic is a strong tie.
[00:15:56] Speaker A: That is a strong tie. But you can't. It's so unique, it's unfair. Cause you can't put. These are. They're two staple games for the Sega and for the Nintendo.
[00:16:07] Speaker B: And to say that, really, they're two different time eras. One's 80s and one's 90s.
[00:16:15] Speaker C: Yeah. Cause Sonic was new. He was. Sonic came out. Sonic came out with Mega Man 80.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: 85, 84.
[00:16:23] Speaker A: What? Super Mario.
[00:16:24] Speaker B: Mario.
[00:16:27] Speaker A: Well, the game. Yeah. Because they say Mario was in Donkey Kong in the first game.
[00:16:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Matter of fact, it was just Mario, bro. It was.
It had a special name on the arcade, so.
[00:16:39] Speaker A: Oh, okay. But, yeah, he was way earlier. But I mean, like, when you bought the Sega, it came with Sonic at first. When you bought the Nintendo and the Super Nintendo, they came with the Mario. He said NCAA football. Those are good. And then Madden, so he got the whole, like, series. Not a particular one. He said it's an honorable mention is NCAA basketball. Number two, Duck Hunt.
[00:17:08] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:17:09] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. How did I not say that? I used to be.
[00:17:16] Speaker A: My mom used to play that when the Nintendo first came out. She used to love that game.
And then the dog would laugh at you.
And his number three honorable mention was Ninja Turtles.
Ninja Turtle again, Which Ninja Turtles?
[00:17:34] Speaker B: That was Shadows of Doom. What was it? What was the name of it?
[00:17:37] Speaker A: No, mine was. Well, I thought it was Time.
[00:17:39] Speaker C: Turtles of Time was one man.
[00:17:41] Speaker B: Secret Ooze.
[00:17:42] Speaker A: That was a movie.
[00:17:43] Speaker C: Secret of the Ooze. That was the movie.
[00:17:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
He got a top five suggestion. He got two. He said, top five episodes of the Wire and then. Top five reasons you have used to get out of work. Lies only.
Can't wait to hear the next episode.
[00:18:01] Speaker C: Have a great week.
[00:18:02] Speaker B: Write them down.
[00:18:02] Speaker C: When I tell y'all I'm. I came up with to get out of work.
[00:18:07] Speaker A: Put in your notes trifling. I mean, y'all gotta do some goddamn work around here. Now. God damn it. Now.
[00:18:11] Speaker B: Hey, I sure.
[00:18:12] Speaker A: I'm over here. Push. I got two devices. I'm pushing the computer. I'm trying to look good.
He makes screaming jazz hands. Yes, me.
Yeah, put that in there.
[00:18:25] Speaker C: What did he say?
Why is.
[00:18:28] Speaker A: Top five episodes of the Wire and.
[00:18:31] Speaker B: Excuses to get out of work.
[00:18:32] Speaker A: Excuses to get out of work.
[00:18:33] Speaker C: Let's do that one.
[00:18:33] Speaker A: Lies only. Well, we can do them all.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: They all lies. If you coming up with an excuse.
[00:18:39] Speaker A: No. Well, I mean some excuses are valid.
[00:18:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:18:43] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: Do you look at excuses as a lie? Cop outs.
[00:18:47] Speaker B: Yep. That's the way out.
[00:18:49] Speaker A: What if you needed. Okay, now I see why you say that but I do think an excuse can be. Jesus Christ.
[00:18:55] Speaker B: Only reason I say it's a lie is because if you're premeditating it.
[00:18:59] Speaker A: But if you can't, let's say like you say B, I can't record today because I got a flat tire and the tire man won't get here for another two hours. That is an excuse, I guess. But you don't look but you don't look at it excuse as a reason.
[00:19:13] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't look at that excuse.
[00:19:15] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:19:16] Speaker B: I guess.
[00:19:17] Speaker C: Well, damn.
[00:19:19] Speaker A: All right, next one is from High star. He said trying this again.
Shout out to High Star from Carolina Sports talk podcast. Him and Big Cliff. He says, good morning all. How y'all doing?
Doing good.
[00:19:31] Speaker C: Hola.
[00:19:33] Speaker A: All's well here in Charlotte. Be easy. My last email may have got lost in the sauce. It seems dated with the super bowl prediction and all that. However, the halftime show to me was indicative of a bigger problem we have in today's society. It's the attack on intellectualism, black intellectualism. Much of the critique I hear from Kendrick is shallow. Like we ain't trying to decode that or we just want to vibe and party. And it seems to be a dog whistle of sorts to continue to dumb down the generation. A deep seated thing. But there was a shift in early 90s rap where your de La Souls, Kwame, Tribe Called Quest, et cetera, were competing with gangsta rap on the charts.
Kwame was kind of, wasn't he kind of like bubblegum type rap?
[00:20:19] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Was he conscious really?
[00:20:21] Speaker B: Nah, I don't think he was conscious. He was fun.
[00:20:24] Speaker A: He was just a fun type fun rap. So he don't really deserve to be in this conversation there.
[00:20:29] Speaker B: Yeah, he was just popular in the 90s.
[00:20:31] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, that was it.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: He came at the right time.
[00:20:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:35] Speaker B: He brought polka dots to polka dots. Hip hop.
[00:20:37] Speaker A: And then Biggie killed it on that one song. Yep. Fast forward in a brother like future breakthrough with yc One of the most elementary, dumbest hooks in the history of rap. I got racks on racks on racks. Oh yeah.
No coincidence that drug promoting, misogyny promoting rapper has stayed in the forefront and earned his cool status from the Youth Juice. WRLD RIP Openly admitted that he started his drug use after listening to future music. Look at Kodak, Black, Joel, Santana and countless other rappers that are gone or barely here because they got doped up.
I really can't say nothing about that.
[00:21:16] Speaker B: Because not barely here.
[00:21:18] Speaker C: Just say no.
[00:21:19] Speaker A: Yeah, just say no. And a lot of the people that I like sold drugs and they gotta sell it to somebody. Sorry. Sorry to digress, but I want to give K Dot his flowers for an amazing performance for the haters. K Dot owns PG Lang, so I imagine he gets a lion's share of the streaming revenue and sync revenue from what he performed. Not to mention he performed what most wanted to hear.
Oh, he performed most wanted to hear at Dr. Dre's Super bowl set.
Yeah. Cause one of the songs I wanted to hear was all right and he did that on super bowl before. So he said. Also the performance was theatrical, cinematic, so every song choice had a purpose for his place on the show. Lastly, there's a thousand percent chance that no one criticizing the performance was selected by the NFL and Jay Z to do the halftime show. Kendrick was. He said in his Apple Music interview that he was going to do current shit shit and also hinted at being 38. He 38.
[00:22:23] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:22:23] Speaker A: And not caring about what others think. I hate the mindset that niggas need to be performing hits while doing this 50 cent crowd wave thing. And that's hip hop. Hold up.
Niggas need to be performing.
I don't get that line.
Do I need. Let me see. I hate the mindset that niggas need to be performing hits while doing the 50 cents crowd wave thing.
And that. That's hip hop.
The 50 cent cry wave thing. I don't know that I'm lost on that one. I'm sorry I stopped. Fuck that. Hip hop is self expression of several no, fuck that. Hip hop is self expression of several layers and complexions. I can like Glorilla, Rhapsody and Dolce and they all bring different frequencies with them. I hope I'm making sense. 95% making sense. That one line. You muddled a lie between winning and losing on that last one.
I just was super annoyed at Kendrick's performance criticism. Even the noise thing. How is it a dig to framing that like the audience was dead instead of celebrating hip hop on a macro stage? Kendrick said on Whacked Out Mules that Nas was the only one to congratulate him. It just seems that people, especially Drake Minions and OVO Brigade had a concerted effort to smear the performance followed by the Drake drop with Party Next Door Drake with the melodies, people looking for vibes and shitting on music that makes you think. Sad state of affairs for our youth. Streamers. Love that off key, auto tune, microwave bullshit. Then we'll talk. Then we'll talk like they know hip hop. No nigga, y'all. No nigga, y'all know Drake and know them videos out of here. I know I'm all over the place, but fuck it, I love this hip hop shit. And real hip hop is under attack. Blessings, DJ Highstar. Oh, that's a lot to unpack. I'm glad that was the last email.
[00:24:17] Speaker C: He always going off in his emails.
[00:24:19] Speaker A: Yes. Do I read it with enough anger? I'm have to start reading his shit.
[00:24:24] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, tell me how. Start added some exclamation points. Yeah, we can really know. In capital letters.
[00:24:31] Speaker A: Yeah, Put in quotation marks. Read this with an angry voice. So I know. Cause I started out reading Nice and then everybody ended that shit.
[00:24:38] Speaker C: And that's how he always. He always goes from 0 to 100 in his emails. By the end, he like, fuck that.
Goodness gracious.
[00:24:50] Speaker A: I think it's a place for all of it.
[00:24:52] Speaker B: You know that party next door. And Drake's album, did you listen to it?
[00:24:58] Speaker A: I did a couple times.
[00:24:59] Speaker B: To me, that's.
It's an album for white girls in Beverly Hills snorting coke.
[00:25:07] Speaker A: Oh, it's definitely for women. Yeah, definitely for women. Yeah. He got one song, though, I ain't gonna lie. That one song where he talking about Joe Budden. That song hard.
[00:25:17] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't. I skipped past that. I gotta come back.
[00:25:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:23] Speaker B: But.
[00:25:23] Speaker A: Yeah, did y'all watch the. Oh, well, let me see if I can address something he said in here.
The audience thing.
I saw clips of the. I didn't expect the people there at the super bowl to be all into it. Like in the actual crowd. Yeah, but probably like the people in the boxes. Cause it was a Kasa Knight said he was there and they pumped sound in or whatever. Like the crowd went hype. I don't care. I was at what. The crowd at my house liked it. And by the crowd, I mean me. Cause I watched it by myself.
Did you watch it?
[00:25:59] Speaker B: Yeah, Yeah, I watched it.
[00:26:00] Speaker A: What did you think about it?
[00:26:01] Speaker B: I think it looked good.
All the dancing and Samuel Jackson, all that was good.
But if you don't know the songs, you ain't know what the hell he was saying.
[00:26:14] Speaker A: Yeah, on certain.
[00:26:15] Speaker B: Certain ones, I don't know if he was out of breath or just his tone of his style of rap, but it to me, it was gibberish until the songs I knew.
I mean, I know the songs itself, but if I don't know them word for word, it goes in one ear and right out the other. So I can understand everybody else just standing around just like. All right. Once when they bring the ball back out, you know? So I've seen a lot of memes and videos where I think it was a. Like a family sitting there watching the super bowl, and they was, like, looking at it, like, half sleep. They.
[00:26:52] Speaker A: They didn't get none of it, but it was cool.
[00:26:56] Speaker B: All the. All the extra other stuff that, like. Yeah, right there. All of this. This was great.
It looked good. You know, it was. You know, it was the beginning of a show.
[00:27:07] Speaker C: But the revolution will be televised. They picked the right time but the wrong guy.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: That was cool. But chill with the knowledge. I don't need no knowledge right now.
[00:27:15] Speaker A: Why not?
[00:27:16] Speaker C: See, that's the problem.
[00:27:17] Speaker A: It went for you. That's what's wrong with you.
[00:27:19] Speaker B: You right.
[00:27:20] Speaker A: Yo, he was a little light, too.
[00:27:22] Speaker B: You right.
[00:27:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:27:24] Speaker B: I mean, it was cool, but chill out.
[00:27:27] Speaker C: I loved it.
[00:27:28] Speaker A: You didn't. You didn't like the Samuel Jackson message?
[00:27:31] Speaker B: I like Samuel Jackson.
[00:27:32] Speaker A: You didn't like the message? Like he was saying, acting.
[00:27:35] Speaker B: I. I just want to know how much they paid him.
[00:27:38] Speaker A: Nothing.
[00:27:39] Speaker B: Nah, they paid him.
[00:27:40] Speaker A: No, nothing. I. I saw videos about Samuel Jackson. He was, like, a revolutionary type nigga.
[00:27:47] Speaker C: Yeah. Sam from the black.
[00:27:49] Speaker B: Yeah, but they paid him.
[00:27:50] Speaker A: Look at the face of a hater. I'm just.
[00:27:53] Speaker B: Hey, look, do it again. Bring him back.
All hands.
[00:28:01] Speaker A: Yeah. I liked it, though. I like how they. What about you, Corey?
[00:28:05] Speaker C: Oh, I loved it.
[00:28:05] Speaker A: You did?
[00:28:06] Speaker C: I loved it. I watched it a few times. Cause I started decoding after the first time, Smarty.
[00:28:11] Speaker A: Art.
[00:28:11] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, it's. It's one.
I don't know if y'all. When him and, like, a group of them in the white T shirts, they. They're sitting under the light. The light. The lamppost. If you look at the floor, a shadow of the lamppost. And, like, the way they sit in is giving off the hanging. The hangman.
[00:28:32] Speaker A: I can really.
[00:28:33] Speaker C: Yeah. Tarot card.
[00:28:35] Speaker A: The hangman. Tarot card.
[00:28:36] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:28:37] Speaker A: You picked that up the first time you watched it?
[00:28:39] Speaker C: Nah.
[00:28:39] Speaker A: Oh, after you watched it again a.
[00:28:41] Speaker C: Few times, I started decoding. I was like, oh. And then the American flag for the black folks.
[00:28:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:28:48] Speaker C: Because that's what this world is built off of.
[00:28:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:28:51] Speaker B: Yeah. All of that was good. I liked it. I like. I like the look of it.
[00:28:55] Speaker A: It Was that one video where it was like what white people heard, and it was like, nigga, shit. Nigga, shit. Nigga, nigga, nigga, shit. That video tripped me out. But it is true, though, if you didn't know them songs before, you probably didn't understand what he was saying. Yeah, I ain't gonna. I ain't. I'm not gonna disagree with that part of it. But.
[00:29:11] Speaker C: Yeah, but that's what my aunt appreciated. Because when she watched it, she was. She was saying, like, she don't understand how people don't like it. Because before when she used to have Kendrick Lamar around the house, she ain't. She never paid attention. When she was actually, like, honed in, she was like, I understood everything he was talking about.
[00:29:31] Speaker B: But your aunt. Your aunt is cool. She's like one of the openest person around. Like, people go over their house and hang out and kick their feet up and stuff like that. And she can enjoy young or old.
[00:29:43] Speaker A: So, I mean, my mama called me. My mama is about your aunt age. And she was like, running in. She's like, who is this guy? What is. I don't know what he's saying. Whatever, Whatever, right? And then I was like.
I was like, you know, he. Kendra Lamar, He a rapper. Whatever, whatever. And she was like, okay. And she's like, I mean, it look good. I just don't know what he's saying. Whatever, whatever. And then he. It did. You know, he said game over. And it beeped. But he really was like turning the TV off. She was like, did he say the MF word just now? And I was like, but hers was a little bit before mine. I was like, huh? I was like, they let that slip.
[00:30:17] Speaker B: Oh, so she caught some of the coding?
[00:30:19] Speaker A: Well, no. Cause he just said game over.
[00:30:22] Speaker C: Yeah. And it was like, speed.
[00:30:23] Speaker A: And she was like, they tried to.
[00:30:24] Speaker C: She thought they bleeped him out.
[00:30:26] Speaker A: Yeah. I was like, ma. No, he just said game over.
[00:30:28] Speaker C: And then turn the tv.
[00:30:30] Speaker B: Your mom added her own curse to it then.
[00:30:32] Speaker A: For real.
That's what my mama heard. Yeah. But I enjoyed the halftime show. But I like Kendrick music, though. You know what I'm saying? So if you not that type of fan or you ain't used to seeing him perform, because I watched him perform a couple times, so I kind of know what to expect from one of his performances or whatever.
[00:30:56] Speaker B: So do you think it was a good choice that they had him based.
[00:31:02] Speaker A: On the last couple years? Well, this year and last year. Cause last year, Usher got it because he had a big year. With the Vegas residency or whatever. So he got it. And this year, Kendrick made a lot of noise with hip hop or whatever.
So I guess next year, if somebody else has a big year, they might pick somebody other than. Cause the year before that, it was Dre and it was nostalgia. It was Dre, Snoop.
[00:31:28] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:29] Speaker A: Eminem and Mary J. Blige. You know what I'm saying?
Year before, it was Rihanna, who ain't put out an album in, like 10 years.
[00:31:36] Speaker B: Hers was boring.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: I thought it was good.
[00:31:38] Speaker C: I liked it.
[00:31:40] Speaker A: I thought it was good.
[00:31:41] Speaker C: Hater.
[00:31:41] Speaker A: Yeah, look who was before Rihanna.
[00:31:45] Speaker C: Oh, I can't go back that far before Rihanna. Can't really remember.
[00:31:49] Speaker A: What was it? So.
[00:31:49] Speaker C: Oh, wait, it was. Wasn't it Coldplay and then Beyonce and Bruno came up.
[00:31:57] Speaker B: Beyonce might have been before.
[00:31:59] Speaker C: No, no, no. I'm talking about, like, Bruno Mars and Beyonce joined Coldplay.
[00:32:04] Speaker A: That was a couple years before. Cause she did her own. Then she did it, like, the next year with Bruno and them. Cause that was when she did. That was.
[00:32:13] Speaker C: Some years. She did that after, though. Cause that's when formation came out.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: I'm saying she did her own. And then she did the one with them the very next year.
[00:32:24] Speaker C: Was it the third?
[00:32:25] Speaker A: I think so. I know the last year. I think the year before it was Maroon 5 and Big Boy. Cause that was the. I wanna say that was the year they were talking about boycotting. I think.
I think. I don't know.
I don't have.
I don't have.
[00:32:44] Speaker C: They got mad at Beyonce for her Black Panther performance.
[00:32:47] Speaker A: Cause I'm. Yeah, go ahead. Well, the black. Yeah, she do good shows.
[00:32:52] Speaker C: They be forgetting she black.
[00:32:54] Speaker A: Yeah, that's the formation. Yeah.
[00:32:56] Speaker C: Yeah. Cause when she did do it. Cause Coldplay, you know, he was doing what he was doing. But Bruno Mars and his gang was dressed up as Black Panthers or all black leathers. Leather suits. And then Beyonce. Her girls had on. They had the puffs.
[00:33:13] Speaker A: Cause that was the.
[00:33:14] Speaker C: With the hats.
[00:33:15] Speaker A: I wanna say that that Super Bowl.
I wanna say that super bowl happened on the anniversary of the formation of the Black Panthers.
[00:33:26] Speaker C: They was mad.
[00:33:27] Speaker A: Yeah, they was mad. I think that was after she did her own.
[00:33:31] Speaker C: It was. It was. It was a few. It was. Had to be a couple. A few years after she did her own.
[00:33:35] Speaker A: After she did her own. Okay. But that was before the Kaepernick thing. Cause one year.
Yeah, I think the year after that is the Kaepernick stuff happened. And then that's when they had, like. Cause it was in Atlanta and they had big Boy, he was the only one from Atlanta that really did it. Was Missy on? I know Missy was on not too long ago too.
I think she was on the Bruno Mars one.
[00:34:02] Speaker C: Oh, you know who Missy came on with?
Katy Perry.
[00:34:06] Speaker A: Katy Perry one. The Weeknd did it right before.
[00:34:09] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that was a good one.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: It was all over the place. Cause he had his face all messed up.
[00:34:15] Speaker B: Yeah. People didn't know if it was real or not.
[00:34:16] Speaker A: Yeah. And it had something to do with a video or something.
[00:34:19] Speaker B: Yeah, the video. He was like that too.
[00:34:21] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:34:22] Speaker B: Is he still like that?
[00:34:24] Speaker A: What?
[00:34:25] Speaker B: Is his face still like that?
[00:34:26] Speaker A: No, that was fake.
[00:34:27] Speaker C: It was fake.
[00:34:28] Speaker B: I know it was fake. But he had draw it out a long time.
[00:34:31] Speaker A: Like, oh, oh, I didn't know that.
[00:34:32] Speaker C: Oh, no, no. He's back to normal.
[00:34:34] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:34:34] Speaker C: His faces.
[00:34:35] Speaker A: Matter of fact, he just came up with an album not too long ago.
[00:34:37] Speaker B: Two weeks ago.
[00:34:38] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks for letting the listeners know.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: Boy, it was a good album.
[00:34:48] Speaker A: It is.
[00:34:48] Speaker B: Yeah, it's pretty good.
[00:34:49] Speaker C: I heard.
[00:34:50] Speaker A: Who was talking about it? Joe Bud was talking about it. Yeah, it was Joe, but was talking.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: About it was a weekend album.
[00:34:55] Speaker A: It was a weekend album?
[00:34:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:56] Speaker C: Wait, like which weekend?
[00:34:59] Speaker B: The new weekend? No, the old weekend. Never come back.
[00:35:02] Speaker C: I missed that.
[00:35:02] Speaker B: Snort coke and robbing people for their sneakers.
[00:35:05] Speaker A: That's what he used to do.
[00:35:06] Speaker B: No, that's what he said in the song.
[00:35:07] Speaker A: Oh, that's what he used to say.
[00:35:08] Speaker B: He said we used to rob people for Jordans just to get. Just to get the girl's nose fixed.
[00:35:13] Speaker A: Where is he from? He from Canada, ain't it?
[00:35:15] Speaker B: Nah, I don't think so.
[00:35:17] Speaker C: A weekend research.
[00:35:20] Speaker A: Bring it up. Pull it up. Let's pull that up.
[00:35:24] Speaker B: So you did the whole. Okay, so. Yeah.
[00:35:27] Speaker A: What'd I do?
[00:35:27] Speaker B: I mean, I just want to see her to see what it's like.
[00:35:30] Speaker A: Oh, it was. I ain't made no noise. It's the noise. It's the noise. It's the noise that CL don't like.
[00:35:37] Speaker C: Yep. Canadian.
[00:35:38] Speaker A: Yeah, I knew he was from Canada. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:35:41] Speaker B: He was hardcore when he first came out.
[00:35:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:44] Speaker B: Almost like a rapper.
[00:35:45] Speaker A: Let's see. Where can we start here with these articles?
I meant to bring this lady up this week, but I heard some stuff about her.
I heard some stuff about her this morning. I read. But the lady, Onijah.
What's her last name? Robinson.
[00:36:08] Speaker B: What she do?
[00:36:09] Speaker A: So have you seen the videos of the lady in.
She's in.
She started out. She went to Pakistan and she.
She.
She went over there to for why isn't it full screen? Oh, there we go.
[00:36:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I seen her.
[00:36:33] Speaker A: She went over there for.
She catfished a guy, 18 years old, catfished at real.
[00:36:41] Speaker B: It's playing like double.
[00:36:42] Speaker A: Yeah, it is. She catfished an 18 year old. And when she did it, when she got over there, he didn't want to marry her. Her mother said, yeah. His mom was like, yeah, I don't want you to marry my son. Whatever, whatever. So she basically got over there and got stranded. And then she started making these Tiktoks. Yeah, tiktoks and all of that about.
She want $100,000 and $20,000 a week. She needs something for the buses and all kinds of stuff. She's making all kinds of claims and stuff like that. But she's black, ain't she? Yeah, she black. Yes, she black.
And so her son came out a couple weeks ago.
Let me see if I can find an article. Well, he basically was saying that she was suffering from, like, she was like, bipolar.
[00:37:34] Speaker C: I knew she had to be something.
[00:37:35] Speaker B: Yeah, you could tell she's something.
[00:37:39] Speaker A: I wanna say she like 34. She got arrested in South Carolina, too.
[00:37:42] Speaker B: What part?
[00:37:45] Speaker A: Where was it? Somewhere near Charleston. In that area? Yeah, she's from.
She's from New York, y'all. Neck of the woods. Shout out to you guys.
[00:37:59] Speaker B: Knew it.
[00:37:59] Speaker A: I knew it.
[00:38:00] Speaker C: I knew. I knew something.
[00:38:01] Speaker B: I knew it.
[00:38:03] Speaker C: Damn it.
[00:38:04] Speaker A: Yeah, these y'all people.
But yes, she. She's 33.
[00:38:10] Speaker B: She's African, too.
[00:38:12] Speaker A: Nah, she black.
I think she's just Muslim.
[00:38:15] Speaker B: She African.
[00:38:18] Speaker A: But I don't even know if she Muslim though.
[00:38:21] Speaker B: She African.
[00:38:25] Speaker A: But, yeah, she was stuck there for a while and then she was saying something about. She wanted to go to.
What's the country? Dubai. She wanted to travel to Dubai and that. And she actually made it to Dubai like last week or whatever. Now the thing I saw this morning was that she was. She's been in Dubai and she been kind of like causing the same ruckus. But I hear they don't play that shit over there.
[00:38:47] Speaker C: They do not.
[00:38:48] Speaker A: They don't play that shit over there.
[00:38:49] Speaker C: They do not. She better be careful.
[00:38:51] Speaker A: Yeah, and so that's crazy.
[00:38:53] Speaker B: How'd she get all the way across the world?
[00:38:55] Speaker A: They sent her over there. They even gave up. Like when she was asking for the money, they was giving her walk around money and shit.
[00:39:00] Speaker B: That's crazy, man. If I. If I needed to ride to damn Florida right now, I couldn't get there.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: You can get there.
Put that thing to work.
[00:39:15] Speaker B: I don't Think he's talking about the thumb.
[00:39:17] Speaker C: I know what he talking about. My thumb was up before he said it.
[00:39:20] Speaker A: Yeah, maybe so.
[00:39:21] Speaker B: You need two thumbs to say mine.
[00:39:23] Speaker A: Nevermind. Maybe so, but yeah.
[00:39:28] Speaker C: I don't bleach my brain right now. Bleach. Put bleach in my ears.
[00:39:33] Speaker A: He might sell it.
Yeah, maybe. Working. Yeah, it's working.
[00:39:40] Speaker B: Get it right, baby.
[00:39:41] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know what's going on.
[00:39:42] Speaker C: What's going on? What's going on right now?
[00:39:44] Speaker A: It was working right before, but. Yeah, so she's work before you broke it.
I think I could tell something wrong with her. The number one thing that made me know something was wrong with her was her fucking eyebrows.
[00:39:55] Speaker B: Her bleached skin.
[00:39:58] Speaker A: You ain't seen her eyebrows? Oh, you about to see.
I'm like, what, she bleached her skin too?
[00:40:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Africans do that.
[00:40:07] Speaker A: She's not African, though.
[00:40:08] Speaker B: She African.
[00:40:09] Speaker A: I don't think she.
[00:40:10] Speaker C: Let me see her.
[00:40:11] Speaker A: Look at her.
[00:40:11] Speaker B: She black there?
[00:40:13] Speaker A: Yeah, she black there she goes right there.
[00:40:15] Speaker B: She ain't black no more.
[00:40:16] Speaker A: Right there. She's not black.
[00:40:17] Speaker B: See? See?
[00:40:18] Speaker A: And look at. Look at that.
Looking at my eyebrows now. That's not bleach on her skin. That's makeup at the top.
[00:40:24] Speaker B: That's crazy.
[00:40:25] Speaker A: That's crazy. People make up at the top.
[00:40:27] Speaker B: Crazy people. Yeah, with the Ronald McDonald's.
[00:40:31] Speaker C: Yeah. She drew on her eyebrows.
[00:40:32] Speaker A: She drew them on.
[00:40:33] Speaker C: She don't have any pinstripe joints.
[00:40:35] Speaker A: Yeah, the pinstripe eyebrows is crazy. Yeah. I can't believe she over there talking to them people like that. They don't even let their women drive.
[00:40:42] Speaker C: I ain't gonna lie. She looked of island descent.
[00:40:45] Speaker B: A teller gang.
[00:40:46] Speaker A: She a teller.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: She African.
[00:40:48] Speaker A: Oh, that was a good picture right there. There you go.
[00:40:50] Speaker B: Look at that. Look at them eyebrows.
[00:40:51] Speaker A: V, like a damn fool.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: Crazy. She did that in the car.
[00:40:55] Speaker A: You think she getting cars?
[00:40:57] Speaker B: She get driven around.
[00:40:59] Speaker C: She did that in her bathroom, in the mirror. She didn't. She wasn't in no car when she did that.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: She thinks she put the head thing on it. Cover up. Look at some of the makeup on a.
On a. A shawl, whatever they call down.
[00:41:13] Speaker A: She looks crazy.
[00:41:14] Speaker C: She looks so.
[00:41:15] Speaker A: She do look crazy. The way she from.
[00:41:18] Speaker C: It's a hijab or a keeper.
[00:41:19] Speaker B: Yeah, she black.
[00:41:21] Speaker A: That's a fake hijab.
[00:41:23] Speaker B: Look at her neck roll. She black this time.
[00:41:26] Speaker A: Asking for 100k.
[00:41:27] Speaker C: Why do they have her talk? Like, why are they standing next to her allowing this word?
[00:41:33] Speaker B: Where is she?
[00:41:34] Speaker A: Like how she Wasn't right there. She was in Pakistan when she went to meet the dude.
[00:41:39] Speaker B: Look at she eating.
[00:41:40] Speaker C: But these men are letting her talk on this camera. I'd have been like, yo, if you don't sit.
[00:41:44] Speaker A: Maybe they was doing it for.
Maybe they did that to make. Because when it. When it first came out, people were saying that they gonna kill her. They gonna. You know what I'm saying? Pakistan don't play that. Whatever. So maybe they, you know, yes to.
[00:41:57] Speaker C: Her wishes, not gonna kill her. Why I keep thinking that?
[00:41:59] Speaker A: To make it hurt, make them look good.
[00:42:01] Speaker B: I know what it is she doing. She doing our walkthroughs.
They booking her. They booking her to come.
That's what it is.
[00:42:11] Speaker A: We don't know.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: You see the way they standing behind her in that video?
[00:42:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:15] Speaker B: Like she's the guest. Like, for real?
[00:42:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
I don't know where she is now though. Hopefully she's not in a jail. I got a. Well, we all know the homie over there, but they do shit like if you, you know, like if you drive to the, like the red light and it's the white line at the red light. If you drive over the white line at the red light over there, they gonna fuck with you. Like the police and shit like that.
[00:42:40] Speaker C: Like, I mean, you shouldn't be on.
[00:42:43] Speaker A: The white line anyway.
[00:42:44] Speaker B: That's where Julianne is.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: New Yorkers do that. And I be like, I'll hit your car.
[00:42:48] Speaker B: Don't block the box.
[00:42:49] Speaker C: I'll smack your car. Yeah, but I'm walking here. People bite me.
[00:42:54] Speaker A: That line is there for a lot of reasons. Like on one side, like, especially if it's like four lanes. If somebody turning left, especially like a truck or something, it's supposed to give them room to make they turn.
Of course, like you said, like walking across the crosswalk or whatever.
[00:43:10] Speaker C: In New York, they got two lines before the crosswalk. Now like they try to tell. They like they trying to make people like, you gotta. You gotta sit back here now. And people still end up on the. Cause they try to run the red light, but our red lights are so fast.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Oh, they ain't like down here.
[00:43:24] Speaker C: Nah, you got. Cause I heard, and this is what I heard, depending on where you are and if it says like 45 miles per hour, the light change is 4 point seconds. Like you have 4 point seconds before the red light hits 4 point seconds. I mean, 4.5 seconds.
[00:43:44] Speaker A: Oh, okay. There you go.
[00:43:46] Speaker C: Thank you. My bad. Four point seconds.
[00:43:48] Speaker A: Are you making up shit?
[00:43:49] Speaker C: Yes. But like 4.6, that's why? That's why y'all lights so long.
[00:43:55] Speaker A: Why?
[00:43:56] Speaker C: Because.
[00:43:57] Speaker A: Oh, from the yellow to the red is four here.
[00:44:00] Speaker C: Like. Yeah, like, in just different states. But New York, we had 25 miles per hour. Oh, so it's like two, and they really move like one. All right, okay.
[00:44:12] Speaker A: That makes sense. Yeah.
[00:44:13] Speaker C: Cause y'all go slow, and people always. People always trying to speed, and then they end up on a crosswalk. And they be on the crosswalk.
[00:44:22] Speaker A: That makes sense.
[00:44:23] Speaker C: In New York City, do you think.
[00:44:25] Speaker A: Those videos of people, like, they got convertibles or whatever, and they stop in the crosswalk and people walk through their car? You think that was real?
[00:44:31] Speaker C: No, that's fake.
You do that to a New Yorker with a convertible, they gonna do something to you, too.
[00:44:37] Speaker A: They might get beat up.
[00:44:39] Speaker C: You don't know what. Nobody got in their car.
[00:44:41] Speaker B: Everybody crazy.
[00:44:42] Speaker A: Somebody crazy enough to walk through your.
[00:44:45] Speaker B: Car, I'm gonna let em go ahead on through. You sick.
[00:44:49] Speaker A: I was wrong.
[00:44:50] Speaker B: There's something wrong with you.
[00:44:51] Speaker A: I was wrong. Cause I shouldn't be in the crosswalk walking across the hood or something. Yeah.
So, yeah, that crazy lady. If y'all know anything about this. What's her name? Onijah Robinson. African Onijah Robinson. I forgot her middle name.
[00:45:08] Speaker B: Nigerian.
[00:45:10] Speaker A: Not last name. Robinson.
I tell you, she got ties to South Carolina. Oh, speaking of the super bowl, did y'all have a favorite super bowl commercial?
[00:45:23] Speaker B: I didn't see the commercials too much.
[00:45:25] Speaker A: I didn't pay attention to the commercials either.
And I didn't know Kanye had a commercial.
[00:45:31] Speaker C: It was one commercial. I was like, what the hell?
[00:45:33] Speaker B: Yeah, me too.
[00:45:34] Speaker A: It was Kanye's.
[00:45:35] Speaker B: That seal one. That seal commercial.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: The seal one was cool.
[00:45:38] Speaker C: Nah, I didn't have that one. It was.
Oh, my gosh. I can't remember this football player's name right now. I don't know.
[00:45:47] Speaker A: Marshawn Lynch. Uh, a old player.
[00:45:50] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:45:51] Speaker A: Jerry Rice.
[00:45:52] Speaker C: No, no, no, no. He's. He's still on the younger side whenever it comes to me. But they had, like, a.
He was like a droid.
[00:46:01] Speaker A: Tom Brady.
[00:46:02] Speaker C: Yes, Tom Brady. Thank you.
[00:46:03] Speaker A: Yeah, and then that was good. They had to put the battery in.
[00:46:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I like that one. That was good.
[00:46:07] Speaker A: The coffee mate one where the guys were sitting on the couch, and he, like, did something with the. It was like, some whipped cream or something. He was, like, licking the whipped cream in the air, and then his homeboy was looking at a fool. And then he got his homeboy to do. And he was, like, flicking his tongue. Both of them was doing it side by side. It was weird. It was one of them weird, you know, commercials. It was Liga Batiff. It was on Liga, one of them commercials. But. But Kanye had one, and they say it was a weird commercial or whatever. And then they said that he used the commercial to say he used the commercial to. Yeah, I guess this is the. Is this the commercial?
[00:46:48] Speaker B: Is that the one with the Hitler signs? I mean, the SWAT sticker?
[00:46:52] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, no, no, no. So I guess this commercial, this the commercial right here. And he used all of that to send people to his website.
And on his website, he was selling a t shirt for $20 a piece that had a swastika. A swastika one on it. Yeah.
And they were. Yeah, $20 a piece. But then. Oh, and it was on socks and everything.
[00:47:18] Speaker B: What did he say it was? No.
[00:47:20] Speaker A: Oh, no, no. And then the product number was HH01.
[00:47:27] Speaker B: Hell Hitler.
[00:47:28] Speaker A: That's what I'm thinking.
[00:47:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:47:30] Speaker A: With a swastika. And they took the site down. Shopify took the site down.
[00:47:36] Speaker B: He's just doing it for shock value, I think.
[00:47:39] Speaker A: I, I. Well, I don't.
I know something's off with him, but why? Fascination with Hitler.
[00:47:45] Speaker B: Is he still Jewish?
[00:47:47] Speaker A: Kanye?
[00:47:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:47:48] Speaker A: When did he say he said he was Jewish?
[00:47:50] Speaker B: He was Jewish One time I did.
[00:47:51] Speaker A: Say he really was like, Like Kendrick.
[00:47:54] Speaker B: What? Nah, I didn't say that.
[00:47:56] Speaker A: Kendrick Heber is a lot.
[00:47:57] Speaker B: Oh, for real? Yeah. Oh, that's why that super bowl was like that then. Okay.
It gave me. It gave me the. It gave me the Israelite feel.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: Next time he gonna be on wearing that purple with them frilly shirts. He gonna be hollering at white shoulder pads and stuff. Now some homies wear, like, T shirts with the frilly and shit on the bottom looking like super Q's.
[00:48:17] Speaker B: I never seen them with a T shirt. They always had, like a big.
[00:48:19] Speaker A: Looking like superhero.
[00:48:21] Speaker B: Superhero joint. Yeah.
[00:48:22] Speaker A: With the shit on their head.
[00:48:23] Speaker B: Big belt, big old belt.
[00:48:24] Speaker A: Shout out. Them niggas look like super Q's, man.
[00:48:27] Speaker B: You go in Manhattan, you see them. You walk around. You wouldn't dare walk through it.
[00:48:32] Speaker A: Well, I saw. I think they were in D.C. and they got on one lady and she was cussing. They was going back and forth. They was cussing or whatever. Whatever. Cause she had a child out of wedlock and they was calling her bastard. A child of bastard. And them niggas be going wild, but they be making white people kiss their feet. Matter of fact, all kind of shit.
[00:48:49] Speaker B: What's that, that documentary guy that's on YouTube a white guy.
[00:48:53] Speaker A: A white guy? Yeah.
[00:48:55] Speaker B: What's his name that he did? He.
They brought him to the training camp and everything.
[00:49:01] Speaker A: They got a training camp?
[00:49:03] Speaker B: Yeah, they was making him do push ups and everything. It was.
[00:49:06] Speaker A: Was he down? I mean, he was cool with him.
[00:49:10] Speaker B: Yeah, he was cool with it. It was for the show.
[00:49:12] Speaker A: Did they call him like white devil or something?
[00:49:14] Speaker B: Nah, they was going in on him. I forgot what it was.
[00:49:18] Speaker A: Not like neve nobody, was it?
[00:49:20] Speaker B: Nah, nah, Nev still do stuff?
[00:49:22] Speaker A: I think so.
[00:49:23] Speaker B: His. His slogan is like dog eat dog world. He got. He sells like these dog shirts. He goes around interviewing like the Kia boys.
[00:49:32] Speaker A: And the Kia boys. Oh, like vice.
[00:49:36] Speaker B: He's like his own vice. I'll come up with the name.
Let me get my good. Why y'all talking?
[00:49:42] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, your phone fell. That is right. Your phone fell early in the day. There you go. There you go. Come back.
There you go. But yeah, so that happened with Kanye.
Then I read something that said him and his wife. Well, first he's getting sued.
He facing a lawsuit from a former Jewish employee who alleges that he subjected her to anti Semitic harassment before firing her.
It accused him of making deeply offensive remarks, including comparing himself to Hitler and declaring himself a Nazi.
Well, that answers our question about him being a Jewish, calling himself a Jew, creating a hostile work environment that ultimately led to her wrongful dismissal.
Oh, yeah, it says she got messages that says, I'm a Nazi and welcome to the first day of working for Hitler. Damn.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: I got it. His name is Tommy G, and he was hanging out with the Israelites. They.
[00:50:50] Speaker A: And they was cut and they was calling. Is that Kanye right there?
[00:50:53] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:50:54] Speaker A: Who's that with his hands up?
That's crazy how they show up. Like it's a.
A filter or something.
And that's him right there.
[00:51:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:03] Speaker A: Can white people be Hebrew? Is like, nah.
[00:51:05] Speaker B: I think that they got. They have one guy on there I gotta watch. I don't think they could be like a full.
[00:51:13] Speaker A: Can they be? Yeah, but kinda like white people.
[00:51:19] Speaker B: His name was Tommy G. Tommy G. It was a good one. And he's basically. He's telling them, you know, all the stuff he can and can't do. And this is how. What they do.
[00:51:31] Speaker A: Yeah. So Kanye, in one particular message to the lady, he said, come destroy me, bitch. And that's before he fired her the next day.
[00:51:41] Speaker C: God damn.
Okay.
[00:51:46] Speaker A: Yeah, so he's got that going on.
And then he has. It was something that said that both he and his wife have contacted divorce lawyers.
[00:51:58] Speaker C: Man, they Crazy.
[00:52:01] Speaker A: Say they both had their reps contact a divorce lawyer this week, and they don't have a prenup.
So what's strange about their thing is that Kanye lost money while they were together.
And so in California, assets and debts, they're split equally.
So on the surface, she might owe money.
Yeah. So old boy might be going through it, but I don't care.
[00:52:34] Speaker C: Yeah, he's weird.
[00:52:35] Speaker A: He's weird.
[00:52:36] Speaker C: I don't. I don't understand the fascination with him.
[00:52:39] Speaker A: I think people just stuck on because.
[00:52:41] Speaker C: People be like, oh, I love Kanye. He be telling the truth. He sound. No. Yeah. No.
[00:52:47] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't get.
[00:52:48] Speaker C: It's a certain point to where it's like, I. I can understand truth talk. And then he just be sounding just straight 730.
[00:52:59] Speaker A: 7:30.
[00:53:00] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:53:00] Speaker A: Crazy New York talk.
[00:53:02] Speaker C: OD.
[00:53:03] Speaker A: Yeah. He need a buck 50, son.
[00:53:05] Speaker C: What.
What are you talking.
[00:53:08] Speaker A: What's a buck 80? Buck 50. You need a buck 50, right?
[00:53:11] Speaker B: Buck 50.
[00:53:11] Speaker A: Buck 50.
Dead ass.
Before go take him. Get a chopped cheese be.
[00:53:17] Speaker C: Now we see you're going too far now.
[00:53:20] Speaker A: Get him a buck fifty.
Get him some.
What you got? Him shits a beef patty. What's the beef patty? What's the beef patty? Company what they call Golden Crisps. No. Golden what?
[00:53:33] Speaker C: Golden crust.
[00:53:34] Speaker A: Golden crust.
[00:53:34] Speaker C: Nobody go.
[00:53:35] Speaker B: They don't do that.
[00:53:37] Speaker A: What's the store?
It's a restaurant that's selling them.
[00:53:42] Speaker C: It's golden crust. Nobody goes there.
[00:53:44] Speaker B: Nobody goes there.
[00:53:45] Speaker A: Jamaicans do.
[00:53:45] Speaker B: They don't.
[00:53:46] Speaker C: No, they do not.
Tourists do.
[00:53:51] Speaker A: Lot of mercy.
[00:53:55] Speaker C: The way you be disrespecting New York sometimes.
[00:54:00] Speaker A: Okay, so let's see what else happened this week?
Oh, I do. I said we were gonna use that in quick hit, so I ain't gonna talk about that.
In good news, the lady that was suing Jay Z and Diddy, an Alabama woman, she just dropped a case.
[00:54:24] Speaker B: How old is she now?
[00:54:25] Speaker C: That's good news for Jay Z.
[00:54:27] Speaker A: She was.
She was 13 when it happened, so 25 years. 25 plus 13.
[00:54:33] Speaker B: Okay, gotcha.
[00:54:34] Speaker A: Use your fingers.
It was 28. She's 38 now.
Okay.
[00:54:40] Speaker B: I never knew that her age.
[00:54:42] Speaker A: Oh, but now. Yeah, okay. Yeah. That's why the Pythagorean theorem comes in.
[00:54:47] Speaker B: I thought she was still 13.
[00:54:47] Speaker A: A +B equals C.
And you got to move that over. And then there you go.
[00:54:53] Speaker C: Carry the one.
[00:54:54] Speaker B: You do it in the air.
[00:54:55] Speaker A: Yep.
And then.
[00:54:59] Speaker C: Oh, God.
[00:55:02] Speaker A: So Jay Z, he.
He. He. He made a statement. He said the frivolous, fictitious and appalling. Oh, my bad. The Frivolous and fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. The civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone. He also acknowledged the trauma that he, his wife Beyonce, and his three children, Blue Ivy, roomie and sir, have had to endure over the last several weeks. He also ripped the prosecutor, Tony busby, as a 1-800-lawyer.
[00:55:45] Speaker C: How old are those?
[00:55:46] Speaker B: Not Busby.
[00:55:47] Speaker A: Yeah. How old are the twins?
[00:55:48] Speaker C: How old are the twins?
[00:55:50] Speaker A: Maybe like eight, nine, maybe seven. Eight.
[00:55:54] Speaker C: Are they really?
[00:55:55] Speaker B: Oh, they got twins.
[00:55:56] Speaker A: Yeah, they got a set of twins.
[00:55:57] Speaker B: Is that the one from the videos?
[00:55:59] Speaker A: What you mean? What videos?
[00:56:01] Speaker B: Like they going viral. They killing the young daughter.
[00:56:05] Speaker A: Yeah, it's one daughter. Why they killing the daughter?
[00:56:07] Speaker B: Cause it was one. He was walking with her like on.
[00:56:10] Speaker A: The field when she started waving or something like that. Yeah.
[00:56:14] Speaker B: And it was like, yeah, this kid look like she bites people. That's crazy stuff.
[00:56:18] Speaker A: They were saying that. It was in the comments. They were saying that.
[00:56:21] Speaker C: Oh, they're seven.
[00:56:22] Speaker A: Both of the kids are like artistic autistic. Yeah, but what. The boy is more. Got more on. On the spectrum than the girl. That's why he's never.
[00:56:32] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:56:33] Speaker A: At events.
[00:56:35] Speaker B: I never knew it was a boy.
[00:56:36] Speaker A: But you could tell. But like, you could tell in that same video. You could tell like kind of by her response.
[00:56:41] Speaker B: Yeah, you could tell.
[00:56:42] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? But yeah, people crazy, man.
[00:56:45] Speaker B: Oh, wow, that's crazy. I wonder if people.
[00:56:47] Speaker A: People, I mean, you could. They know if you. A observant person, you can look at the kid, you can look at a person to tell. You know what I'm saying? A little something sometimes. Sometimes if you watch him enough like it's a show I watch now called Mo, it's on the second season. And his brother, the way his brother responds, you could tell his brother was on the spectrum before they said something. And then it's an episode where they like trying to address it. And the mama's like, he just needs love or whatever. Whatever. Like she don't wanna accept it or whatever. But he's grown now, but he kind of act a certain way with it or whatever. But he helped run they business with just certain social stuff he couldn't do or whatever. Okay. Yeah, but I appeal that people be talking shit about them, but they. They talk shit about Blue Ivy, about her hair when she was younger. And then people were saying about people, kids. Yeah.
Why they don't never Bring the boy out.
[00:57:45] Speaker C: That's beyond me. Cause he might be a lot to deal with. Or he just might mind y'all fucking business.
[00:57:51] Speaker A: Sorry. Or he might just not like being around a whole lot of people.
[00:57:54] Speaker C: Yeah, he might have social anxiety.
[00:57:56] Speaker B: Yeah, that's a big thing.
[00:57:57] Speaker A: Hell, man, I saw them pictures at the street in the Super Bowl. Oh my God, I couldn't have took that shit.
[00:58:03] Speaker C: I would have lost my mind. I would have had a panic attack in that. Or anxiety attack in that crowd. Too many. I had a panic attack in Trader Joe's one time. Cause it was so crowded, I had to go stand in the corner.
[00:58:14] Speaker A: And Trader Joe's in what city?
[00:58:16] Speaker C: Comfort myself. Huh?
[00:58:17] Speaker B: In Columbia.
[00:58:18] Speaker A: In what city?
[00:58:18] Speaker C: In New York.
[00:58:19] Speaker A: Oh, in New York. Cause the Trader Joe's in Columbia. I get anxiety trying to get in that fucking small ass parking lot.
[00:58:25] Speaker B: That parking lot sucks.
[00:58:25] Speaker A: Our parking lot. Small as hell. I went there one time and that was the only time I. And it was right around the corner from where I lived at. And I didn't go back. Cause it was just.
[00:58:34] Speaker C: I'm used to those type of parking lots.
[00:58:36] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm not. We used to space down here.
[00:58:40] Speaker C: Found a parking spot, I was like, all right, squeeze on in here.
[00:58:44] Speaker A: Says the system has failed. The court must protect. Protect victims, of course, while while with the same ethical responsibility course. Must protect the innocent from being accused without a shred of evidence. May the truth prevail for all victim and those falsely accused equally. Not Buzz, man.
[00:59:07] Speaker B: That Busby.
[00:59:07] Speaker A: Yeah, Busby.
[00:59:09] Speaker C: Call him. 1-800-1-800, lawyer.
[00:59:13] Speaker A: Lawyer.
It feel funny being on screen doing this too, though.
[00:59:22] Speaker C: Now they can finally see your face when you do it.
[00:59:25] Speaker A: Yeah, chill.
I didn't ask y'all what y'all watched this week. What did y'all watch this week? You watched anything, El?
[00:59:33] Speaker B: I watched.
[00:59:34] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:59:35] Speaker B: What's the name of that mother?
It was a documentary about. About undercover guy in Aryan Nation of Houston. It was on Max.
[00:59:50] Speaker A: I think I saw it. That's kind of new, right? Yeah, I think I saw they was.
[00:59:55] Speaker B: They was getting it and they killing people and all sorts of stuff.
[00:59:58] Speaker A: Because it's about the takedown of that.
[01:00:01] Speaker B: That's the name of it. Take down. Aryan Nation Take down.
[01:00:05] Speaker A: I just saw that last night. I saw the thing on Max or whatever last night.
[01:00:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched. I watched that.
[01:00:11] Speaker A: What else you watched this week?
[01:00:12] Speaker B: What else I watched. I didn't watch too much.
You know, I'm still in that Sopranos.
[01:00:18] Speaker A: You ain't finished yet?
[01:00:19] Speaker B: Nah, because I watched maybe an episode. A night episode and a half.
[01:00:24] Speaker A: School out. So you about to.
[01:00:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm about to.
[01:00:26] Speaker A: You about to. Really?
[01:00:27] Speaker B: It's over, so I'm chilling.
[01:00:29] Speaker A: What about you, Corey? You watch anything?
[01:00:31] Speaker C: I've been watching a few things actually.
[01:00:32] Speaker A: Okay. All right. Finally.
[01:00:33] Speaker C: I know, right?
[01:00:34] Speaker A: You put the erotica down.
[01:00:36] Speaker C: Don't. Don't disrespect me in front of company.
Anyway, I watched.
[01:00:47] Speaker B: I knew he was gonna do it. I just waited. That's why I had to look over there and see.
[01:00:52] Speaker C: Anyway, I watched a couple of things, so.
[01:00:56] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:00:56] Speaker A: All right.
[01:00:57] Speaker C: I watched the new Captain America.
[01:01:00] Speaker A: Oh yeah, I did. Oh, well, go ahead. What else?
[01:01:03] Speaker B: They didn't get good reviews for that, did they?
[01:01:04] Speaker A: Don't. Don't listen to it.
[01:01:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I liked it. I really enjoyed the movie.
I caught up to Harlem, watched the last two episodes.
[01:01:14] Speaker A: Okay. What you think?
[01:01:15] Speaker C: I hate that. It was so rushed.
[01:01:18] Speaker A: I wonder why they rushed it. Was it money thing or.
[01:01:21] Speaker C: I don't know. Cause they could have put one more episode at least if they gonna close it out.
[01:01:26] Speaker A: I think if they hadn't made Megan get pregnant, it might not have felt so rushed.
[01:01:31] Speaker C: Mm.
[01:01:32] Speaker A: Cause they could have wrapped the stories up.
[01:01:35] Speaker C: They really went like fast forward a year and I still feel her character made no progress.
[01:01:41] Speaker A: No progress.
[01:01:42] Speaker C: The other three, large progress.
But her. Quinn had the most progress.
Quinn is the light skinned one.
[01:01:51] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. But she went back to that lady though, huh?
[01:01:54] Speaker C: No, no, no. They just hung out. But she was still on her thing. Nah.
[01:01:59] Speaker A: Oh, you think they trill, huh? Think they trill?
[01:02:05] Speaker C: You know, and I also watch.
I do.
[01:02:08] Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
[01:02:09] Speaker C: And we not talking.
[01:02:10] Speaker A: Why not? What, does that make you uncomfortable? No talking about tripping.
[01:02:14] Speaker C: What is wrong with you? You asked me what I was watching and you went to talk about.
[01:02:17] Speaker A: I had a question about what you talking about. Did I ask you, do you think they tripped?
[01:02:21] Speaker C: I don't think so.
[01:02:21] Speaker A: That's a fair question, America.
[01:02:24] Speaker C: I don't think so. I don't think they tripped at all. I think they just went and got tripped.
[01:02:28] Speaker A: I think they tripped.
How do you think Quinn and that other woman had sex then?
[01:02:33] Speaker C: I mean back then when they were together. They were tripping.
[01:02:35] Speaker A: You think they were tripping then? Oh, okay.
[01:02:37] Speaker C: Pretty sure.
[01:02:39] Speaker A: What if the other woman was a touch? Me not.
[01:02:44] Speaker B: That's in those books.
[01:02:45] Speaker C: You so excited right now.
[01:02:46] Speaker A: Fair question. Of course.
Two women. Shit.
Nothing. Don't get me more excited than two women maybe playing good defense.
[01:02:56] Speaker C: Put your hands down.
[01:02:57] Speaker B: You know what it sounds like?
[01:02:58] Speaker A: What?
[01:02:59] Speaker B: You know, when you was a kid. The little.
The guns with the. The rubber. Rubber bullets, huh? You put them together.
[01:03:12] Speaker A: I don't know them.
[01:03:15] Speaker C: Yeah, it's some little plastic.
[01:03:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:17] Speaker C: 99 cent, when he was a kid.
[01:03:19] Speaker B: You always kind of put them together.
[01:03:21] Speaker A: No, I didn't play with them. My mama wouldn't let me play with guns.
[01:03:24] Speaker C: Oh, I'm sorry.
[01:03:24] Speaker B: Oh, too bad.
[01:03:25] Speaker A: Couldn't play with guns.
[01:03:26] Speaker C: Damn.
[01:03:27] Speaker A: You missed one.
[01:03:28] Speaker C: You missed it.
[01:03:28] Speaker B: Yeah, you missed a lot.
[01:03:29] Speaker A: No, I did. That's what's wrong with America now. Everybody fascinated guns since they was a kid.
[01:03:34] Speaker C: Nah, nah.
[01:03:35] Speaker A: You got a gun, don't you?
[01:03:36] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm pretty sure you got one, too.
[01:03:38] Speaker A: I got several.
[01:03:39] Speaker C: See? So what's the problem?
[01:03:40] Speaker A: Have you ever shot somebody?
[01:03:41] Speaker C: No.
[01:03:42] Speaker A: I have.
[01:03:43] Speaker C: I knew you was a thug, you thug ass.
[01:03:46] Speaker A: I'm not a thug.
[01:03:47] Speaker C: You're a thug.
[01:03:48] Speaker A: I'm a.
[01:03:49] Speaker C: Okay. Hard R.
Anyway, what else? I watch.
[01:03:54] Speaker A: Yeah, we talking about you. Okay. Harlem.
[01:03:57] Speaker C: Yes. And the Avenger. Oh, and I said the Avengers. Captain America, featuring Anthony, starring Anthony Mackie.
[01:04:06] Speaker A: And Juan. Juan Carlo. What's his name? Espizano? Juan Carlo.
[01:04:11] Speaker C: You talking about the kid that played.
[01:04:13] Speaker A: No. Giancarlo. No, don't. Because I don't know. Well, I think he's in the trailer. He was the bad guy. One of the bad guys.
Esposito. Juan Carlo.
[01:04:22] Speaker C: Ain't his name Juan Carlos in that movie? Yeah, one of the bad guys.
[01:04:27] Speaker A: Yeah, the old black nigga. I'm sorry. Old black man.
[01:04:30] Speaker B: Oh, you talking about.
[01:04:33] Speaker A: He plays a character. He's a character that's in the comic books, but I don't.
[01:04:37] Speaker C: You talking about the forgotten soldier?
[01:04:40] Speaker A: He talks. Not him.
[01:04:42] Speaker B: Darth Vader.
[01:04:43] Speaker A: Yeah, he played in that, too.
[01:04:45] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what.
[01:04:46] Speaker A: And he played in do the Right Thing. Do the right Thing. Yeah.
[01:04:50] Speaker C: Oh, no, I don't know his name.
[01:04:52] Speaker A: There's his name. Juan Carlo or something like that. Giancarlo.
[01:04:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:04:57] Speaker A: Esposito.
[01:04:59] Speaker B: Esposito.
[01:05:00] Speaker C: Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:05:02] Speaker A: 17 times.
[01:05:03] Speaker C: He's from Fresh.
[01:05:04] Speaker B: Yep. He's from Fresh. Yeah, he's coming back, too.
[01:05:06] Speaker C: And I always forget his name, but I just know his movies for some reason. I don't know.
[01:05:11] Speaker A: I'm gonna tell you. It's a commercial with him and Spike Lee. It's a Fiat commercial. Best commercial ever.
[01:05:17] Speaker B: It is a good.
[01:05:17] Speaker A: Best commercial ever.
[01:05:19] Speaker C: I need to look that up.
[01:05:20] Speaker A: Yes, it's their Fiat commercial.
[01:05:22] Speaker C: And I. And I've been watching Interview with the Vampire.
[01:05:25] Speaker A: That's a. That's new series. It's new or old?
[01:05:28] Speaker C: Well, they came out with season three, and I think they're working on four, so.
[01:05:32] Speaker A: Oh, okay. So what's going on?
[01:05:33] Speaker C: Okay.
I really enjoy that show too.
[01:05:37] Speaker A: Like you. I've seen Captain America. I give it a out of 10. What do you give it?
[01:05:43] Speaker C: I give it like a solid 7. 8.
[01:05:47] Speaker A: Yeah, I give it probably a 7.
[01:05:48] Speaker C: Like 7.5. Ish.
[01:05:49] Speaker B: Nah. So what y'all watching? The bootleg?
[01:05:52] Speaker A: No. It came out in the movies.
[01:05:53] Speaker C: Well, I saw it on the bootleg.
[01:05:55] Speaker A: It came out fuzzy.
[01:05:56] Speaker B: Bootleg.
[01:05:57] Speaker C: Not clear. Clear.
[01:05:59] Speaker B: It's on us. On us?
[01:06:01] Speaker A: App. I went to the movies to see it.
[01:06:03] Speaker B: It's on Plex.
[01:06:04] Speaker C: Huh?
[01:06:05] Speaker B: Is it on Plex?
[01:06:06] Speaker C: I didn't look on Plex. I got like this other app that I be watching stuff on my iPad.
[01:06:11] Speaker B: Is it clear? I gotta see that.
[01:06:13] Speaker A: I went to the first movie to see. I went to 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
[01:06:19] Speaker C: Not your itinerary.
[01:06:21] Speaker A: I did. It was early.
I don't like going to the movies at night. Cause then after the movies at night, there's nothing else to do. You gotta go home. So you gotta have everything done before I did it. Yeah, I went Thursday. Yeah.
[01:06:32] Speaker C: Did you go home after?
[01:06:34] Speaker A: Yeah, but then I had more day to do other stuff, so after that I think I went and played basketball.
[01:06:39] Speaker C: Did you? Oh, like a regular.
[01:06:41] Speaker A: Yeah. Not my game.
[01:06:42] Speaker C: Pickup game.
[01:06:43] Speaker B: Pickup.
[01:06:44] Speaker C: Did you make a shot?
[01:06:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I made shots.
[01:06:46] Speaker C: Why you can't do that in your game?
[01:06:47] Speaker B: Word?
[01:06:48] Speaker A: Cause I don't play two minutes. You heard Yoshi. Email.
[01:06:50] Speaker C: I don't understand.
[01:06:51] Speaker A: I did get a rebound. I forgot that. Hey, my stat's going up. Shout out to Yoshi.
[01:06:57] Speaker B: Was it one of those jump on the floor rebounds or was it I.
[01:07:00] Speaker A: Get in the air with strength?
[01:07:02] Speaker C: All right.
You have a game today?
[01:07:05] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:07:06] Speaker C: Okay, I'm gonna need you to make a shot today, okay?
[01:07:09] Speaker A: I hope so.
I hope do a lot.
[01:07:12] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:07:16] Speaker B: You didn't. You didn't make a shot yet.
[01:07:19] Speaker A: I only took three shots.
[01:07:20] Speaker B: Also, you make one, just quit after that, just walk.
[01:07:23] Speaker A: I can't quit. I gotta take the jerseys. Oh, yeah. So you don't know how much I want to quit.
[01:07:30] Speaker C: Are you gonna be on your defense today?
[01:07:32] Speaker A: Of course.
[01:07:33] Speaker C: How y'all do it? Stupid hands.
[01:07:36] Speaker B: Go ahead.
[01:07:39] Speaker A: So I've been watching, of course, Abbott Elementary. It was real good this week.
What's his name? Gregory. He finally told Janine that he loves her, which was a good episode. Paradise.
Got some twists and turns on Paradise. That's on Hulu. If you haven't seen it. That's good. Invincible is cartoon. Spider Man. Cartoon. I'm watching that also. I like that. The animation. I like that style. It's a new thing on Netflix. I saw all the white people talking about it, so I went to check that out. It's called Apple Cider Vinegar. It's based on a true story. It's about a lady that. She's kind of like the white Dr. Sebi, where she was saying you can cure cancer with juices and berries. But I think hers is more scam.
[01:08:24] Speaker C: It's only Ultra Perm.
[01:08:26] Speaker A: Yep, exactly.
So I got to the first episode of that, and I was watching it, and then a show that I watched a couple years ago called Mo Came Back.
[01:08:37] Speaker B: Oh, it did?
[01:08:37] Speaker A: Yeah. So Mo came back. So I started back watching Mo. I'm like, on episode five of Mo.
[01:08:42] Speaker B: It'S the same character.
[01:08:43] Speaker A: Same character, yeah. And Mo is a show about a Palestinian guy that grew up in Houston. His family came over here, but he grew up in Houston. So he all Houston culture, but he never got American citizenship. So part of it is him trying to get.
Because his family trying to seek asylum. So they trying to get asylum. But in the first season, he gets kind of abducted by the cartel and taken to Mexico. So it comes back with him being stuck in Mexico, and it kind of goes through that. So.
So that. That. It's a good show. Good acting. Toby Wing Way is in that. You know the rapper? Yeah, Toby with that funny hair. Dude with the funny hairdo and the wife.
[01:09:26] Speaker B: That from Transformers.
[01:09:27] Speaker A: He was in Transformers?
[01:09:28] Speaker B: Yeah, the newest one.
[01:09:30] Speaker A: Oh, the cartoon one? No, the live action one.
[01:09:33] Speaker B: The movie with the Puerto Rican guy.
They had all that hip hop music in.
[01:09:39] Speaker C: Was it was based off in what, the 80s or 90s?
[01:09:42] Speaker B: 90S.
[01:09:43] Speaker A: Oh, it went early 90s.
[01:09:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:45] Speaker C: Yeah. It was like when they first got there. No, it wasn't. When they first got there.
[01:09:49] Speaker A: It was a reboot. Shia LaBeouf was in it.
[01:09:51] Speaker C: Nah, it wasn't a re. It wasn't a. It was before, technically, Bumblebee found Shia LaBeouf.
[01:09:58] Speaker A: Oh, so it was tied into that and Toby was in that?
[01:10:02] Speaker C: Yes, yes. Right.
[01:10:04] Speaker A: Oh, was Mo in it? You saying Toby was in it or Mo?
[01:10:07] Speaker B: Toby.
[01:10:08] Speaker A: Toby was in that one.
[01:10:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:10:09] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Yeah. I haven't seen that one.
[01:10:13] Speaker C: I. It was one of my favorites because.
[01:10:16] Speaker B: Of the songs they playing Biggie.
[01:10:18] Speaker C: It was just.
[01:10:19] Speaker A: It was just the nostalgia 90s then.
[01:10:21] Speaker C: And then Pete Davidson voiced Mirage. The Transport, the Transformer. Mirage.
[01:10:27] Speaker A: Did they have.
[01:10:28] Speaker C: The Coon was actually.
[01:10:32] Speaker A: That was like.
[01:10:33] Speaker C: Pete Davidson did his thing, but it wasn't a cartoon.
[01:10:37] Speaker A: Y'all remember the Coon Transformers? Yeah, that was in the one that talk. Yeah. And it was like, that's a. That's. I don't do no reading. That blew my damn socks off, cuz. For real. I don't do no reading because it had like the. The ancient hieroglyphs, they language. She's like, I don't do no reading that.
So yeah, that's what I've been watching. I wanted to get that out there because those shows are back. If y'all been watching anything interesting that we haven't said, email us. DJ Blaze show at gmail dot com.
[01:11:12] Speaker B: That was silence, not powder.
[01:11:16] Speaker A: Could be a little bit of both.
I'm just joking.
Let's see what else happened this week.
Nothing else really. That lady was kind of took over a lot the past two weeks.
[01:11:30] Speaker B: I wish we had more video of that. Cause we would have tore that video apart. We'd have been picking up.
[01:11:34] Speaker A: Yo, we got a lot of video of that. We got six minutes of video of that. For real. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got six minutes say to that. But it's a lot like a compilation of people talking about it and stuff like that too though.
[01:11:44] Speaker C: She crazy as hell. She crazy as hell.
[01:11:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:11:55] Speaker C: All right. If you heard that car crash, you have just tuned in for quick hits.
So Diddy files a hundred million dollar defamation lawsuit against NBC Universal over making of a Bad Boy documentary.
Of course, Shawn Diddy Combs filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against NBC Universal claiming the company defamed him with the Peacock documentary. The Diddy, the Making of a Bad Boy. He got audacity.
[01:12:27] Speaker A: I wonder, is that the one? That's not the one.
[01:12:30] Speaker C: I didn't see that one. I didn't even know Peacock had one.
[01:12:32] Speaker A: Okay, so that's not the one where it had the guy we were talking about the other week and the guy didn't seem believable.
[01:12:39] Speaker C: Remember he had you talking about the one on hbo?
[01:12:41] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause that.
[01:12:42] Speaker C: I don't think so.
[01:12:43] Speaker A: That one was on Max.
[01:12:44] Speaker B: But the Peacock One is the TMZ one, I think.
[01:12:47] Speaker C: No, that's 2B.
[01:12:51] Speaker A: Because it's been so many that came out. Because I don't watch the one. The one that. Why not?
[01:12:56] Speaker B: I just don't watch tv.
[01:12:57] Speaker A: You don't have it?
[01:12:58] Speaker B: I got it, but I don't watch it to be.
[01:13:01] Speaker C: Got some. Some hidden gems there.
[01:13:02] Speaker A: Martin. Martin was on to be for a while when it. When it.
[01:13:05] Speaker B: Yeah, it's flooded Right now. I don't like the. The B movies on it.

The R and B Tax Express in Moscow, Tennessee said the dollar amount is more than $65 million from 2020 to 2024. Walton, who presents herself as a tax expert, also sales tax preparation preparation software and runs other businesses such as Bounce House Rentals, a fashion boutique and a cosmetic line. According to the indictment, social media posts obtained by FOX 13 Investigates show she promised self employed people thousands in COVID 19 relief money. The indictment says Walker and Jones will contact clients who had small businesses and asked if they were interested in grant money that was available to them. Then they prepared a tax forms claiming employees claiming employee retention credits with substantial and fictitious wage wage amounts. Those small businesses will receive U.S. treasury checks based on that false information in excess of $100,000. In January 2023, records show Walton was put on notice the federal government was investigating her for tax preparation fraud. Yet the indictment says she continued to file fraudulent tax returns since then. The indictment says Walton and Jones sent clients pre drafted letters to forward to the IRS with false information to undermine the IRS investigation. The two later encouraged clients not to speak with IRS agents.
And the two they face wire fraud, conspiracy, helping to file a false tax return and money laundering. In total, they could see more than 60 years in prison if found guilty.
