[00:01:32] Speaker B: So that's the one where the barber kept on doing a thousand things, calling everybody and taking the on a mission.
[00:01:39] Speaker C: Yeah. So how was yalls week?
[00:01:43] Speaker A: Long.
[00:01:44] Speaker C: Long.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: Yeah, My baby got sick. Oh, no, he's fine. He was good. His attitude never changed, but he just got a lot of congestion, like coughing.
[00:01:51] Speaker C: Oh, is the weather change?
[00:01:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause he didn't get it from anybody.
[00:01:55] Speaker C: I know he did get it from somebody. What happened was he let that hawk get up in him. You can't let the hawk get up in you.
[00:02:02] Speaker A: What is that?
[00:02:03] Speaker C: The hawk?
[00:02:04] Speaker A: What is that?
[00:02:04] Speaker C: You don't know what the hawk is?
[00:02:05] Speaker A: No.
[00:02:06] Speaker C: How long have you been down here?
[00:02:07] Speaker A: A year.
[00:02:08] Speaker C: Only a year?
[00:02:09] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:02:09] Speaker C: Oh, well, you'll learn about the hawk then. You stay down here enough, you let it get cold outside and you got this area, this region open.
[00:02:18] Speaker A: Yeah. I'm. I'm just realizing he's one of them kids. He take off his sweater when at.
[00:02:24] Speaker C: School and he outside. He let that hawk get up in him.
[00:02:27] Speaker B: Don't get mad at him.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: Cause he was outside with me and he kept taking off. I was like, put that. What are you doing? And I'm like, oh, you do this in school?
[00:02:35] Speaker C: Put it on. How about you? How was your week?
[00:02:38] Speaker B: It was good.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: Well, he fine now. He don't got bronchitis.
[00:02:41] Speaker A: He still got the cough. That's the only thing. He got a cough that's literally that.
[00:02:44] Speaker C: Still up in there.
[00:02:45] Speaker A: He has all that mucus that needs to come out. But other than that, he's great.
[00:02:50] Speaker C: Wonderful, wonderful. How about you, my dear brother?
[00:02:53] Speaker B: It was Good man.
[00:02:54] Speaker C: Good week.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it's, you know, the. That work week before the holiday week, you know, so everybody, it's crunch time now. So now it's straight holiday. No more work. Get to kick my feet up for a week.
[00:03:08] Speaker A: That's nice.
[00:03:09] Speaker C: Wonderful for you.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: You deserve it also.
[00:03:10] Speaker C: You okay? You working this weekend, though?
[00:03:14] Speaker B: I'm working now, but, you know, this.
[00:03:16] Speaker C: This is pretty much work.
[00:03:18] Speaker B: Not that work where I got to get up in the morning.
[00:03:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: Dag on 5:30, you got.
[00:03:22] Speaker C: You get up at 5:30 for it.
[00:03:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I get to work probably 6:30, but I. I don't start.
[00:03:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, you got. You got to do what you got to do.
[00:03:29] Speaker B: You know, I got to wind down and sit at my desk and just.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: Before them kids get there.
[00:03:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:35] Speaker C: My week is. It was. I thought it was going to be a good week.
Thursday night, it was disappointing. I went to bed sad. Thursday night, why?
[00:03:45] Speaker B: They lost.
[00:03:45] Speaker C: My team lost closely. Then last night, my high school team, which my little cousin slash little nephew plays for. He's the leading tackle on the team, they lost by a big margin in the playoff game.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: It was cold out last night, too.
[00:04:03] Speaker C: The Hawk was out there.
[00:04:04] Speaker B: Oh, it was.
[00:04:04] Speaker C: The Hawk was out there.
[00:04:05] Speaker B: I was working at my game.
[00:04:06] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, the Hawk was out there. And, you know, after the game, you know, all the family and parents was on the field, you know, so we looking for. Me and his daddy looking for him or whatever. He was like, okay, there you go, right there. And he turned around and he was crying. Like, he was crying so bad. I was like, oh, my God.
I got sad, but. Cause I've been there before. He got another year to play, though. But my last game, everybody was crying. All the homeboys was crying and shit.
[00:04:33] Speaker B: Cause, you know, so they know in advance, right? This is it.
[00:04:36] Speaker C: Yeah, this is it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They lost, so I got that team lost. And normally they win. So then Saturday, my college team's been winning, and then on Sunday, my pro team win. Now my pro team lost. My high school lost.
We a little behind the scenes this Saturday. We recording today early, but hopefully my two college teams win today, Colorado and South Carolina State, to make me feel more better. But either that, I'm gonna have to let me stop.
So. Yeah, that's my week. Yeah. What have y'all been watching? Oh, watching what y'all been watching this week. Anything new other than that documentary we're gonna talk about?
[00:05:22] Speaker B: I was gonna say other than that. You know, I went back to curvy enthusiasm.
[00:05:27] Speaker C: Oh, you did yeah. You know, you started from the beginning.
[00:05:29] Speaker B: I started last week. Yeah. At the beginning. And just going through that again. There's another one. I started from the beginning. What was that? It was.
Yeah, that's one of the main ones that, you know, in the documentary and stuff like that.
[00:05:42] Speaker C: Okay. What about you, Corey?
[00:05:43] Speaker A: I didn't really get to watch anything.
[00:05:45] Speaker C: Cause that boy had the hawk in him. You can take. Well, you put a lot of Vicks on his chest. Yeah, a lot of Vicks. Okay.
[00:05:51] Speaker A: Yeah. I had to keep him home because kids.
When I chose to keep him home because he came home Friday, he hasn't been to school, I kept him Monday. And thank goodness, I kept him Monday because they said kids was throwing up in his classroom.
[00:06:05] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Keep him out of there.
[00:06:07] Speaker A: Poop, everything.
[00:06:08] Speaker C: I was like, yeah, from the rooter.
[00:06:10] Speaker A: To the tooter, from the rooted to.
[00:06:12] Speaker C: The Tutti, from the scoop, from the Shannon, from the oink to the school year.
[00:06:16] Speaker A: So I'm like, I kept him out right on time.
[00:06:19] Speaker C: If he still got the Hulk up in him, what you need to. He need to put on something heavy, you know, something hot. And he need to sweat. It'll get up. It'll get up out of him.
[00:06:30] Speaker B: I can see him sweating. Because when I say he got energy, right.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: I don't know how I'm gonna get stuff on him. He's six.
[00:06:38] Speaker C: He's six.
[00:06:38] Speaker B: He's like Jack Jack from Incredible.
[00:06:41] Speaker A: Jack Jack. He's exactly Jack Jack from the Incredibles.
[00:06:44] Speaker C: From what?
[00:06:45] Speaker A: The Incredibles. Family movie. You never seen the Incredibles?
[00:06:49] Speaker C: No. I mess with y'all.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: I was about to say.
[00:06:51] Speaker C: I know who Jack Jack is.
[00:06:52] Speaker B: There. You know?
[00:06:53] Speaker C: Um, I've watched. Yeah, I do know Jackie, though. Who?
[00:06:57] Speaker A: Don't know. I've just been watching movies. Frozen, if that's the case.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: So which one is he?
[00:07:00] Speaker C: He the little boy that run fast.
[00:07:01] Speaker A: No.
[00:07:03] Speaker C: Yes, he is.
[00:07:03] Speaker A: No, Jack Jack is the baby.
[00:07:05] Speaker B: Is the baby.
[00:07:06] Speaker C: Oh, that's the baby.
[00:07:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:07] Speaker C: What's the little fast boy name?
[00:07:08] Speaker B: There is no fast boy. Jack Jack's the fast boy.
[00:07:10] Speaker A: There is no Fast.
[00:07:11] Speaker C: There is a fast boy.
[00:07:12] Speaker B: There ain't no fast boy.
[00:07:13] Speaker C: And what did the little girl do? She disappeared, right?
[00:07:15] Speaker A: Yeah. Violet. Violet and Dash.
[00:07:17] Speaker C: Yeah, that's his name. Dash. Jack Jack is the one he turned into a little monster.
[00:07:21] Speaker A: Yes. That's my son. All them powers. It's like when I actually sat down and watched the Incredibles as a. As a parent, I'm like, wow. So that's. Children.
[00:07:33] Speaker C: You're going backwards. Then what do you mean you had Jack Jack first? Now you gotta have.
[00:07:36] Speaker A: Yeah, now I got to, right?
[00:07:38] Speaker C: And he is Jack Jack.
[00:07:41] Speaker B: Yeah, he is Jack Jack.
[00:07:42] Speaker C: Well, shut up.
[00:07:43] Speaker A: Because he's great. You say you make him mad and he'd be like, oh, I probably.
[00:07:48] Speaker B: I ain't gonna say I was the first one to say he was Jack Jack. But no, he's Jack Jack. I guarantee you. Go to the house. Now he's running from the front door all the way to the back door around.
[00:07:58] Speaker C: Oh, I can't stand.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: You don't know how he got outside.
[00:08:01] Speaker C: Do you tell him stuff twice?
[00:08:03] Speaker A: Yeah, from a million times.
[00:08:05] Speaker C: No, I'm saying, like. Do you say it twice like you ain't gonna be running in and out? You ain't gonna be running in and out? Yeah.
[00:08:11] Speaker A: I mean, no.
[00:08:13] Speaker C: Sit down in our room. Sit down in that room.
[00:08:16] Speaker B: Sit down.
[00:08:18] Speaker C: Turn that game off. Turn that game off.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: Not yet.
[00:08:21] Speaker C: Oh, that's how I be. I ain't got no kids. I be old like that.
Hush up all that fuss. Hush up all that fuss.
So shout out to Jack Jack. That's his name from now on.
[00:08:31] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. When he's sweet and being a boss, we call him Boss Baby.
[00:08:36] Speaker C: Oh, okay. All these cartoon references.
[00:08:40] Speaker A: He's the definition of all of them.
[00:08:42] Speaker B: Yes, he is.
[00:08:43] Speaker A: No exaggeration.
[00:08:45] Speaker C: Trying to think of another cartoon kid movie.
It'll come to me.
I've. I've watched, you know, still watching Abbott Elementary. You caught up yet?
[00:08:58] Speaker A: No, no, not at all. I can't catch up nothing right now.
[00:09:01] Speaker B: I'm way behind to catch up. I'm in third. I'm in second season.
[00:09:04] Speaker C: You'll be there. Second season, Alex Cross. I finished that.
[00:09:08] Speaker B: That's what I'm meant to tell you.
[00:09:09] Speaker A: Oh. How was that?
[00:09:10] Speaker B: Wait, you finished it?
[00:09:11] Speaker C: Yeah. I know people. That was like, they finished it in one day.
[00:09:15] Speaker B: It's good.
[00:09:15] Speaker C: It's good. How far are you?
[00:09:17] Speaker B: First episode, and I stopped it because I was getting a little drowsy. I said, nah, I don't wanna fall asleep on it. Let me stop it and go to bed, man.
[00:09:27] Speaker C: Like, it gets better. It gets better. It's some episodes where it kind of falls down a little bit, but it gets better every episode. And the ending is real good. And I don't think you can figure it out. You kind of. Only reason I figured it out is because somebody said it was a twist. So I was trying to figure out the twist. But it's good all the way through.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: Okay, don't tell me no more. I got some Time this week to catch up.
[00:09:50] Speaker C: Ooh, excuse me. Then I found this show on Hulu called Interior Chinatown.
It's about Chinatown.
[00:10:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:10:00] Speaker C: It's like a cop show, but like a spoofy cop show. But it ain't spoofy. But I just like. I like watching shows as, like, different cultures.
[00:10:09] Speaker B: Okay?
[00:10:10] Speaker C: So it's pretty good. So I'm watching that, too.
But that's it for the. Well, we'll talk about the shine doc. But we got a. We got an email from the homie Yoshi. So shout out to him.
[00:10:23] Speaker B: Not Yoshi, boy.
[00:10:24] Speaker C: Shout out to Yoshi from Relationship Status Podcast.
But before we get into this email, we got a short commercial break.
I don't know if this is karma.
[00:10:40] Speaker B: Honestly, I don't know what this is. I went to the store today and got into an accident.
[00:10:45] Speaker C: Doctor's telling me I may not ever.
[00:10:47] Speaker B: Be able to work again in my life. My mom is telling me everything going to be all right.
[00:10:52] Speaker A: She called Top Doll Wife, telling me.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: We about to be rich, brother. Telling me you about to be a millionaire.
[00:10:59] Speaker C: Like, I give up about some money right now.
[00:11:02] Speaker A: You know, I'm pay.
[00:11:05] Speaker C: Hey, y'all ever. Y'all don't listen to the Top Dog Law commercials?
[00:11:08] Speaker B: No, that's a. That's a law commercial.
[00:11:11] Speaker C: Yeah, it's a real law commercial.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: Yeah, Cory's over there. Like, what are we listening to?
[00:11:15] Speaker C: Yeah, it's a real commercial. They play it, like, in the mornings. Well, I hear it in the morning. Cause I listen to the breakfast. I thought it was, like, a New York thing. Cause I listen to power 105. But then, like, Thursday morning, I was on the way to work, and I was listening to the station at Columbia, 1039.
[00:11:31] Speaker A: And they played it, too.
[00:11:32] Speaker C: And the commercial was on. I was like, okay, all right. And then he said in the commercial, he said something like, they say everything happens for a reason.
You got into an accident, but you called Top Dog.
[00:11:48] Speaker B: Top Dog.
[00:11:48] Speaker C: You called Top Dog Law.
[00:11:50] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
[00:11:51] Speaker C: He got you that money on the way. And then he was like, you could have been dead.
I was like, this nigga is unhinged.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: Hey, somebody asked me if that was Uncle Murder. I was like, it sound like him, but now that ain't no.
[00:12:06] Speaker C: I think he from Philly because it's something he say early.
[00:12:10] Speaker B: He got that early.
[00:12:11] Speaker C: Yeah, he said a certain way. Yeah. And it's a whole bunch of them. Like. And so I had made a post on Facebook, and like. Like, different people from different places. It's somebody from California that they live in Cali. They was like, oh, yeah, he come on all the time. And I was like, oh, y'all got him out there. So I went and searched, and people in Detroit like these commercials all over the place. So I guess Top Dog Log's like the guy from.
What's the guy in Texas? Well, no, not Akeem, but the guy in Texas, you know, I think he's a law. It's a law firm like that, but I thought that was hilarious. The Top Dog.
[00:12:45] Speaker B: What is that guy's name? B. The Texas guy. The lawyer from Texas. They saying he's getting ready to drop a lot of them diddy cases.
[00:12:52] Speaker C: He about to drop them. Yeah, of course he is.
But now it's all out there. Like, even, like, with the diddy cases, like the. The 10 year old and all of that. That was a part of his stuff, right? Wasn't that in his.
[00:13:04] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:13:05] Speaker C: I don't believe I. I don't believe that.
[00:13:08] Speaker B: That's great.
[00:13:08] Speaker C: I don't believe that. But, yeah, I loved. If you have a favorite Top Dog Law commercial, email us djblayshowmail.com Some of the shit you heard.
[00:13:19] Speaker B: And you could go back and listen to it again, what we just played. Because I know when it came on, everybody's like, what is that? What is that? So now this is your second to go back in, you know, and that's.
[00:13:28] Speaker C: Just one of them. Now he got several.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[00:13:31] Speaker C: Change them up all the time.
[00:13:32] Speaker A: That's very different.
[00:13:34] Speaker C: So Yoshi emailed you, said, great show. Said, good day, fam. As a Day One listener, welcome to the show. My NYC brethren and sister Elle and Corey, enjoying y'all on the show. I finished the entire Alex Cross season. See, it wasn't. It wasn't just me. It was really good. The actual first Alex Cross actor was Morgan Freeman and Kiss the girls in 1997. Okay, guru.
[00:13:58] Speaker B: So wait, he was. He was. That was his character.
[00:14:03] Speaker C: Yeah, I guess that's what he saying.
[00:14:04] Speaker B: Oh, that was a good movie.
[00:14:05] Speaker C: And Along Came a Spider in 2001. Really good movies. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Great episode, y'all. Keep it up. Yeah. Cause I do know that it came from a book, so I didn't know how old a book was, so.
But it makes sense, though. Cause the one with Morgan Freeman, I want to say it was like the lady was the one that.
Yeah, she was the bad guy, but she was, like, working with him.
[00:14:33] Speaker B: What's her name? Charlie Baltimore. I know it's something with that movie. And Biggie did some kind of quote from that. Oh, he. One of his songs along Kiss Goodnight or something was based off of that. Charlie Baltimore. That's what it was.
[00:14:47] Speaker C: Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah. Shout out to you that he sent another one for the list. Episode 2. We'll get into that. One thing that we did watch, we all watched was the Shine documentary on. On Hulu.
Did you enjoy it?
[00:14:59] Speaker A: I did.
[00:14:59] Speaker C: How about you?
[00:15:00] Speaker B: Yeah, it was good. It was.
[00:15:01] Speaker A: That was the first documentary I actually genuinely enjoyed.
[00:15:05] Speaker C: It was really.
[00:15:07] Speaker B: Yeah, it was good. I got a feeling you don't like. You didn't like it as much as we did.
[00:15:12] Speaker C: Why is that?
[00:15:13] Speaker B: I don't know. I think you might have been look for more, but we're gonna get into that. The beginning of the documentary with the rap. The song part and the rap that right there, like, it pulled me in. Like, pause. I don't know. Men don't say pull me in.
[00:15:31] Speaker A: Oh, my Lord.
[00:15:32] Speaker B: But it was that part right there. And then there was another part where they did the music part while he was talking. He was basically rapping the verse acapella. That part right there, that's what made the whole documentary for me.
[00:15:47] Speaker C: So the production was A1.
[00:15:49] Speaker B: Massive mass appeal. Should have done.
[00:15:51] Speaker A: Yeah. I appreciated the way it was put together.
[00:15:54] Speaker B: Clean.
[00:15:54] Speaker C: Yeah, it would. That part was.
I thought it was going to be a little more dealing with like the shooting. Cause a lot of the stuff I kind of already knew, like. Yeah, him being the Prime Minister's son and all that kind of stuff. Maybe I have a.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: But you know, they gotta. They had to put that in there for the younger generation because I didn't know.
[00:16:19] Speaker B: What the shooting.
[00:16:20] Speaker A: No, that he was the Prime Minister's son. The son.
[00:16:23] Speaker B: I didn't know he was son.
[00:16:23] Speaker A: I didn't know like his family.
[00:16:25] Speaker C: You didn't know it like now?
[00:16:27] Speaker B: I didn't know. I didn't know he was connected like that.
[00:16:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I had not a clue.
[00:16:31] Speaker B: No. I thought he just went over there and just happened to, you know, get on the right track. Like Akon or some shit.
[00:16:39] Speaker C: I don't trust Akon.
[00:16:42] Speaker B: Why? Ever since he gave French Montana the fake watch.
[00:16:46] Speaker C: Nah, because all his shit, like, I think a lot of the stuff Akon doing is cap. Like, it ain't really him, it's the Chinese. Like he really like the face of them taking over Africa.
[00:16:57] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:16:58] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying?
[00:16:59] Speaker A: Talk about shoot.
[00:17:02] Speaker C: Cause well, anyway.
Yeah, but I ain't gonna say it was bad. You Know, I watched it all in one take, but I thought it was gonna be a little more.
But it was good. It wasn't bad.
[00:17:15] Speaker A: What were you missing from it?
[00:17:16] Speaker B: Yeah. What more from the shooting did you want?
[00:17:19] Speaker C: I guess I thought it was gonna be like some information that I didn't know.
And all of the stuff I kind of knew other than like his upbringing with like, him being like, real bad and then him turning it around like that part.
[00:17:37] Speaker B: I don't think he turned it around.
[00:17:39] Speaker A: What do you mean?
[00:17:40] Speaker B: I don't think he turned it around? I think he was still. He was still in the street, for one.
And the shooting part, he knew the people from the street.
[00:17:52] Speaker C: They said it in the dock, right?
[00:17:53] Speaker B: Yeah. And that's well known. Like, they from that area where he was from, they was out doing the same things he was doing. I don't really think that riding a bike messenger, that was an extra job. I think he was still outside.
[00:18:07] Speaker C: When I say he turned it around, like, I forgot what happened. Was it the shooting that happened and then he, like, got good in school and graduated and all of that stuff?
[00:18:15] Speaker A: Yeah, when he first got shot.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: Oh, the first time he got shot.
[00:18:17] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I mean.
[00:18:18] Speaker B: Like, I don't think he did.
[00:18:20] Speaker C: I mean, but why you don't think so he graduated.
[00:18:22] Speaker A: Why he got a lie?
[00:18:23] Speaker C: I mean, he graduated. Yeah, that's proven in the pudding. He ain't graduated from night school.
[00:18:30] Speaker A: If you on the street as heavy as you think he was, he ain't graduating. That either.
[00:18:34] Speaker C: It was an extra job. But this, you in the streets and you graduated high school.
[00:18:37] Speaker A: See, that's a wrong. Why you can't. Why you can't believe your brother right now.
[00:18:40] Speaker C: Huh? You know that? See, and that's. That's going to go into my. The next episode for Wednesday.
[00:18:47] Speaker A: Can't believe your brother, man.
[00:18:50] Speaker B: That's one of your pet peeves.
[00:18:51] Speaker C: One of my pet peeves. I'mma bury the lead. This over here, I don't believe him.
Proving to putting the nigga standing there with his mama with the diploma.
[00:19:00] Speaker B: So, I mean, either way, Don Corleone over here. All right, so tell me this.
I don't know if I'm jumping ahead on the show. No, on this documentary.
[00:19:11] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:19:14] Speaker B: Why do you guys think the documentary came out now?
[00:19:17] Speaker A: Oh, everything that's happening.
[00:19:19] Speaker B: Why? Why?
[00:19:21] Speaker A: Like, I feel, honestly, it's funny. Cause I was talking to your mate about this.
[00:19:25] Speaker C: Mate?
[00:19:26] Speaker A: Yes. Life partner.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: Take it easy, yo.
[00:19:32] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh.
[00:19:33] Speaker B: Hey, watch this.
[00:19:34] Speaker A: It's troubling times Life partner.
[00:19:36] Speaker C: Words mean things.
[00:19:38] Speaker A: What's made to y'all? I'm just curious.
[00:19:40] Speaker B: Eh, it's just. You just used it loosely, I guess, you know.
[00:19:44] Speaker C: I did not. Go ahead, go ahead.
[00:19:46] Speaker A: Don't follow me up anyway.
I got issues. I do need prayer.
[00:19:51] Speaker C: I do.
[00:19:52] Speaker A: Really. All of them from all religions attendee ways. We was just talking. We were talking about that while we were watching the documentary. And it was like once Cassie sounded off, everybody was just. It was like everybody in cahoots in some kind of way. Not with her, but the networks that runs the. That's running all of these documentaries. Like, you know, they gotta be friends like the top dogs. So it's like, oh, well, hers came out. Oh, let's bring out tmz. Oh, let's bring out this person. You stupid. You said it might as well make this the title.
And then all of a sudden Hulu's like, our turn.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: But I mean, that's the.
[00:20:35] Speaker B: They all know they're coming out though.
[00:20:37] Speaker A: Yeah, they know it's because it's always. If you look at the website, IMDb, it's always post production and it lets you know, like, oh, this is ready to be released type stuff.
[00:20:48] Speaker C: But I mean, it's. It's not because everything is all digital. I don't think it's hard to get all of this stuff together as far as the footage.
And then like these people know what's. What legally they can put in stuff or what's like.
[00:21:06] Speaker A: I think Elle's talking about the timing, right?
[00:21:08] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm talking about the timing.
[00:21:10] Speaker C: But I mean, it's.
[00:21:11] Speaker A: But what I'm saying is the downfall of Diddy.
[00:21:13] Speaker C: What I'm saying is like, it's easier for them to like if some news come out, it's easy for them to just put something together real quick. Like it ain't. It ain't like it used to be. So. And then a lot of the stuff don't really got to be vetted.
[00:21:27] Speaker B: You know what it is? I'm. I'm watching the documentary. You know, he. He had his downfalls with Diddy money wise or. Or you know, the label wise they so called made up.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:21:45] Speaker B: Went.
[00:21:46] Speaker C: What was the downfall with the money?
[00:21:49] Speaker B: What was it?
[00:21:50] Speaker C: Cause didn't get like a two million dollar deal. Didn't they say that like he had like a deal that they was like, that's crazy for him to get this deal and. Cause it was a bidding war. They.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: It was a bidding war. That was before Diddy.
[00:21:59] Speaker C: Yeah, but then Diddy signed up for like $2 million or something, right?
[00:22:02] Speaker A: And he didn't even have a record yet.
[00:22:04] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:22:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I remember. It was. It was.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: No, it was. They didn't have a problem with the. They didn't have a problem with money.
[00:22:10] Speaker B: He had problems with Mason. So he got put on the back burner.
And while he was put on the back burner, that's, you know, he didn't want to be put on the back burner at the time. He basically was cold and he chilled out.
[00:22:24] Speaker C: But hold on, hold on.
[00:22:25] Speaker B: Because he fell out with him all the way.
[00:22:27] Speaker C: He fell out with Mason. Them.
[00:22:29] Speaker A: He was no, him and Mace was beefing because of Brandy. He didn't. He wasn't technically put on the back burner, but after that shooting happened in the club, that's when he was put on the back burner. And Wolf was like, nah, you can't. Yeah, can't do that. You gotta put his albums out.
[00:22:44] Speaker C: But his. His mute. But he already has songs out. All right.
[00:22:48] Speaker A: He.
[00:22:49] Speaker B: Yeah, he was on.
[00:22:50] Speaker A: He had some songs, but his albums didn't drop yet. Once they dropped his first album, that's when it was like, yo, yeah, gotta keep going.
[00:22:59] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what it was. I'm sorry, That's. That's exactly what it was. That's when they really fell out. But when he came home, they so called had made up again. But then they said towards the end, you know, they put on the documentary.
[00:23:13] Speaker A: No, they were fine up until the stuff with Cassie happened.
[00:23:16] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:23:17] Speaker A: And he was like, oh, you mean came.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Okay, hold up, hold up. Cause when you say came home, I'm thinking you mean came home after he did his prison sentence, after the 10 years.
[00:23:26] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, they were good.
[00:23:27] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:23:29] Speaker A: And then recent times, like this year.
[00:23:32] Speaker C: He started, he did come out.
[00:23:34] Speaker A: He reached out to him, Diddy reached out to him talking about the club incident. Because they're pushing this and they saying that. And he's like, the truth is what? The truth is. I don't have to talk about it again. It's out there. I can't do nothing about that. And then once the video with Cassie came out, the people that's backing him was like, you can't talk to this dude at all. Like, he's domestic. He's involved with domestic violence. And then that was all the people.
[00:24:00] Speaker C: The people back and shine. Like the government people.
[00:24:02] Speaker A: The government, yeah. And then that's now that's the end of it.
[00:24:06] Speaker C: Because it was not too long ago.
The video of like Shine and Diddy at, you know, Shine. At Diddy house.
[00:24:13] Speaker B: Yeah, right.
[00:24:14] Speaker C: That was. That was earlier this year.
[00:24:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, that's what I mean. It was a couple times they did that. And I bet you because like I said, all of the artists that when these documentaries come out, they know ahead of time when it's coming. So I guarantee that's when he reached out to him saying, hey, hold up.
[00:24:32] Speaker C: Cause you saying he. And they.
[00:24:33] Speaker B: Okay, he did he.
[00:24:36] Speaker C: When you say they know who you. What do you mean they know Diddy.
[00:24:40] Speaker B: Knew that this Shine documentary was coming out? No. Or anybody. No, I think so.
[00:24:45] Speaker C: I don't think so.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: I think so.
[00:24:46] Speaker A: No, I think he knew. He. I think he knew. But you got to remember, like when I think the last part of the documentary was just added before release.
[00:24:59] Speaker B: You think so?
[00:24:59] Speaker A: Yes, it.
[00:25:01] Speaker C: Because they.
[00:25:05] Speaker B: Diddy. That's what it was.
[00:25:06] Speaker A: Because it was beyond the stuff with Cassie. It was just the whole thing. And then that's why Sean was like, you know, I can't.
[00:25:13] Speaker C: I want to say it was a part where it said on the, you know, the words on the screen during the filming of this documentary, Cassie, that, you know, the lawsuit, this, that and the third. I want to say that.
But I don't think. I don't think Diddy knew that this documentary was coming out about Shine.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: Why not?
[00:25:33] Speaker B: I think so.
[00:25:33] Speaker A: Cause he's in footage in one of the beginning. In the beginning, they were sitting around fire or something, like just talking and Diddy was there and it was a very present time. And you know, when you're recording somebody, you gotta let them press release. You gotta sign documents.
[00:25:52] Speaker C: No.
[00:25:52] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:25:53] Speaker C: That video was. That video was on social media and everything earlier this year.
[00:25:58] Speaker A: But he put it in a documentary.
[00:26:00] Speaker C: I don't think you. If like one stuff go out like that, it's like fair use.
[00:26:05] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:26:05] Speaker C: I think. I don't know. I don't.
[00:26:07] Speaker B: That's.
[00:26:07] Speaker C: That's what I thought because I think.
[00:26:09] Speaker A: He knew because he wasn't talking bad about Diddy throughout the documentary. He was talking about. He was talking about how the club shooting happened and more. The people that were being interviewed were saying Diddy did this. And he was talking about that and he told them, like, oh, I don't like him. Keep him away from me. Sean had nothing negative to say. Sean always spoke the facts.
[00:26:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Like this is what happened. It is what it is. I'm not mad. I no love lost, no type. Like he didn't have any ill, malicious intent while speaking about Diddy. The only time, it wasn't even malicious, the only time he had to really speak a cold, hard fact about Diddy is the recent times. And, like, I can no longer be involved with him for my political.
[00:26:59] Speaker C: That kind of stuff, like Journey, people won't take any of that into account. Like when people say, like, he had, like, the regular parties and this, that, and the third he had the freaky stuff, stuff like that, they won't take that into consideration. When Sean's like, you know, I just knew this part of him or whatever.
[00:27:18] Speaker A: Right.
[00:27:19] Speaker C: I don't think he knew about all the wild stuff.
[00:27:21] Speaker B: You know what? For the listeners, if Shine is a, you know, an old bad boy member, some people might not know who Shine is.
[00:27:29] Speaker C: If you don't Google him, we ain't got to explain that part to it.
[00:27:31] Speaker A: Like, and it's Shine with a Y.
[00:27:33] Speaker C: With a Y. Yeah, we gotta explain that. No, our listeners grown. We don't have kid listeners. If you don't know who Sean is. I'm sorry, we're not gonna explain that. I know what you're trying to do. No, no, fuck that. But now niggas don't know who Sean is.
[00:27:50] Speaker A: I like when he was talking about how Diddy reached out to him, asking him for help and stuff, I just literally went back to the beginning. Like, when he called y'all, asking y'all for help when he got locked up. Y'all just turn your back, and it's like the ties have turned.
[00:28:07] Speaker C: Got different lawyers, too.
[00:28:08] Speaker B: So. So tell me this, all right?
Would you have blamed Shine for this incident if you were Diddy?
[00:28:17] Speaker A: What incident?
[00:28:17] Speaker B: Or would you want him to take the rap with you?
[00:28:20] Speaker A: What incident?
[00:28:21] Speaker B: The club.
[00:28:23] Speaker C: Would I have blame Sean?
[00:28:25] Speaker B: Yeah, because.
[00:28:27] Speaker A: All right.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: Because Diddy did turn his back on him, right?
[00:28:30] Speaker A: Oh, completely.
[00:28:31] Speaker B: But at the same time. Did he.
He was in the clear. Nobody's talked about him shooting a gun. One girl.
[00:28:39] Speaker A: No, one girl did back in.
[00:28:40] Speaker C: The one girl that got shot.
[00:28:41] Speaker A: The one that got shot.
[00:28:42] Speaker C: She was saying it the whole time.
[00:28:43] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's the only time it came up. So you're not gonna say. Okay, well, since nobody else saying it, you're not gonna say, well, I did shoot my gun also. You're gonna let it go like, nah, I ain't do nothing and let him take all the rap, right?
[00:28:57] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what his. That's what his.
[00:29:00] Speaker B: He did.
[00:29:00] Speaker A: No. Did he let Shawn take the rap? He took all the rap because his lawyers told him to.
[00:29:04] Speaker B: No.
[00:29:04] Speaker C: Yeah, that's why. That's what I'm asking. What you saying. Because you saying him, him, him. I. I was trying to clarify.
[00:29:10] Speaker A: Did he let Shawn take the rap because his lawyers told him to? Nobody is pointing the finger at you too much.
[00:29:16] Speaker C: I would. I couldn't blame Diddy because I did have a. Like, why the fuck you got a gun in the club?
[00:29:23] Speaker A: Everybody had. They all had guns in the club.
[00:29:25] Speaker C: But still, like, why the fuck you got a gun in the club? Like, if I go to jail and people say I shot even, and if he shot his gun and I'm the one who get caught, that's on me.
[00:29:37] Speaker B: That's on you.
[00:29:38] Speaker C: That's on me. I can't blame you.
[00:29:39] Speaker A: That's why Sean didn't snitch.
[00:29:41] Speaker C: Yeah, Yeah. I can't blame him for that.
[00:29:43] Speaker A: And he took total accountability.
[00:29:45] Speaker C: He was like, yeah, if Diddy be like, now, I don't know if Diddy did or not, y'all correct me, but was he ever like, he did it?
[00:29:54] Speaker A: No.
[00:29:55] Speaker C: Was Diddy just like, I ain't did it?
[00:29:58] Speaker A: No, he never said he did it, but he never said he didn't. He just. He just, just. He just turned his back. He just washed his hands of a situation.
[00:30:07] Speaker B: I don't remember.
[00:30:07] Speaker A: He let his judge. I mean, the. His lawyer speak for him.
[00:30:10] Speaker C: Let the best lawyer win. Goddamn it.
[00:30:12] Speaker B: That's what happened.
[00:30:13] Speaker C: Yeah. Let the best lawyer win.
[00:30:14] Speaker B: Yep, that's what happened.
[00:30:15] Speaker C: And then I got Johnny.
[00:30:17] Speaker A: And now this girl is talking about it today like, yes, Diddy shot me.
[00:30:22] Speaker B: Well, she's been all over the Internet.
[00:30:25] Speaker C: She has been. Yeah, she's a little too dark.
They don't care about dark skinned women. If she was lighter, Diddy would be in jail. Sorry.
[00:30:35] Speaker B: You sure?
[00:30:36] Speaker A: It is what it is.
[00:30:36] Speaker C: But for sure, yes. If she was lighter, she was a dark skinned girl. I can't remember what she. I think she still. She was cute back then.
[00:30:42] Speaker A: She's cute now. She was great.
[00:30:44] Speaker C: She was just a little too dark back in the. Yep, she was a little too dark. They didn't care about dark skinned women back then.
Sorry. That's the truth.
Well, this, this, this article is dated October 30th. I only saw this because Shine responded. Somebody walked up on Shine and asking about Funk Master Flex or whatever, but Funk Master Flex said that he went on a rant and because Sean labeled himself a scapegoat in that incident.
Oh, I thought he did 10. He only did eight years in prison. Yeah, he said he refers himself as the Diddy's fall guy. He said frontmaster. Flex said, when somebody tries to say they the scapegoat or they was used, it's been bothering me and I'm gonna keep it a buck. Shine, I love you, bro. And I know what you've been through.
Oh, they spelled that wrong. I know what you've been through. No, I don't. But you a liar. You're a stone cold faced liar, Shine.
Flex will give his accounts of what happened in the club. Shoot. He added, let me tell you about. Oh, hold on. Let me get my funk master Flex. Let me tell you about that night in that club. I don't know what people are talking about. Sean was in the streets. He was a punk. Oh, yeah. Hold on. Thank you.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: You got the bombs.
[00:32:01] Speaker C: Yeah, I do got the bombs.
[00:32:04] Speaker B: For all the people. Like I usually say, if you listen to New York Best of Flex at night, this is how he goes.
[00:32:15] Speaker A: I'm waiting for this.
[00:32:17] Speaker C: This nigga, man. Okay, here we go, Here we go. Let me tell you about that night in the club.
I don't know what people are talking about. Showers in the streets. He was a punk.
So all of that street talk, you don't never come my way with that Puff. Had to keep people offer you from beating you to death. Had to keep Drock from strangling you. Shine.
Next, the DJ describes Shine's ego leading to an altercation with Drock, who is Biggie Small's best friend. You remember when Drock had to beat you up in that studio cause you were feeling yourself. You lucky you signed the bad boy. Cause if you did not sign the bad boy and you signed the Def Jam or anywhere else, they were gonna pound you out. Pause. Like the day they beat you up in that stud.
Let's be clear.
To conclude his rant, Funk Max Funk Master Flex addressed the upcoming documentary. Well, the documentary is already out. He went off on Shine and then everyone involved, including a few who had prior issues with the politician. Everyone in that documentary wanted to spit in your face, Shine.
I don't even care what friends I lose tonight, I'm saying it. Every single, single one of them. Let's be clear.
So, yeah, wait.
[00:33:39] Speaker B: All I'm gonna say is, okay, that's how you do impressions.
When you come in here, that's how you do impressions.
[00:33:46] Speaker A: That was really good. My mouth is just. I'm like, hey, yo, anyway.
[00:33:53] Speaker C: Yeah, you gotta pause that. Let's be clear. We don't want to hear anything about your mouth.
[00:33:59] Speaker B: N. Okay, be easy.
[00:34:01] Speaker C: Yeah.
But Shine did respond. Shine did respond and say something about. He was like. He. What was the. It was something like. He said something about Jay Z. He said something about Nas and this, that, and the third. But I don't.
[00:34:18] Speaker A: Why Flex so hurt right now over that.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: I don't know. I think he said Sean said something like, he be doing it for clout.
[00:34:24] Speaker A: He do.
[00:34:25] Speaker B: Yeah. Everybody says that.
[00:34:26] Speaker C: Everybody says that.
[00:34:27] Speaker B: But let's be clear.
[00:34:29] Speaker C: Hot 97, 223.
[00:34:31] Speaker B: Swimming. He called me back.
[00:34:34] Speaker A: I swear, your impression just made me irritated with Flex.
[00:34:38] Speaker B: Nah, you killed it, though.
[00:34:39] Speaker C: That was irritated with Flex.
[00:34:40] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, oh.
[00:34:43] Speaker C: And for all the listeners. I don't look like this.
[00:34:46] Speaker A: He don't.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: I'm sending this to all New York listeners.
[00:34:48] Speaker C: All New York listeners.
[00:34:50] Speaker A: Nah, he wild out, like, damn, what's hot 970. You not heard over this, man?
[00:34:54] Speaker B: 187, 223, 797 what?
[00:34:58] Speaker C: You know the number 718 2.
[00:34:59] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[00:35:00] Speaker C: I know power 105 number.
[00:35:02] Speaker A: I do not know.
[00:35:03] Speaker C: 805. 8500. 105 1.
Cause what you call it saying?
[00:35:10] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: Charlamagne, right?
[00:35:11] Speaker C: No envy saying every morning. Yeah. 805.85.1051. Call us up. It's Breakfast Club. Good morning.
[00:35:19] Speaker B: Yeah, but you did kill that man.
[00:35:21] Speaker C: I appreciate it.
[00:35:21] Speaker A: Yeah, that was really good.
[00:35:22] Speaker B: Yeah, we need to bring it.
[00:35:24] Speaker A: I was stuck.
[00:35:24] Speaker B: I was like, I'm gonna have a list of the shit I need you to do.
[00:35:29] Speaker C: Okay?
[00:35:29] Speaker B: Like, bring the preacher here every once in a while.
[00:35:32] Speaker C: Oh, the preacher. Reverend Geno Jennings. I gotta show you Reverend Gino Janet. So you'll get the okay.
[00:35:38] Speaker B: It don't even matter if you don't even know it. Just hearing it, it's like, that's a preacher for real.
[00:35:42] Speaker C: Yeah. You're going to hell.
Divorce is crazy. I like Gina.
[00:35:47] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm at the get up on my impressions in here.
[00:35:51] Speaker C: You do.
[00:35:52] Speaker B: You do. You're killing it, my man.
[00:35:53] Speaker C: Hey. I get it from my mama, what I do. I get it from my mom. My mom be doing impressions of, like.
[00:35:59] Speaker B: Get the hell out of you. Oh, of other people.
[00:36:01] Speaker C: Yeah, My aunts. And like, she like my grandma. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.

[00:36:12] Speaker A: I need to stop then. Cause Aaron, my son, he gonna look at me like, oh, you gonna start picking it up? Cause I do the same thing.
[00:36:20] Speaker C: I used to call my mom a job and stuff.
I call her office. And then, you know, she answered the phone like, yes, may I speak to Dolores Knox, please? And she like, yes, this is she. And then I start talking. She's like, brandon, what you want? You know what I' Man, I. With that? Mom, can I get the. Can I get some chicken or some. You know, let's see what else happened this week.

[00:36:57] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:37:01] Speaker C: And that he didn't do nothing new on that song.
[00:37:05] Speaker B: He didn't.
[00:37:05] Speaker C: Because that's his old song.
[00:37:06] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. And he sound kind of now, the.
[00:37:10] Speaker A: Fact that he did it live with nothing.
[00:37:15] Speaker B: Yeah, he sounded a little bit bitter. He was mad because.
[00:37:19] Speaker C: What did he say?
[00:37:19] Speaker B: He said Sean messed around and went over there and got in trouble or something. We supposed to go on tour.
[00:37:24] Speaker C: No, you know what he said? You know, he said. He said, shine, listen to the people in hip hop. And they told him that he. In order for him to make it.
[00:37:31] Speaker A: Big, oh, he gotta be like, yeah, nobody says that.
[00:37:36] Speaker B: That's the old man talking, though.
[00:37:38] Speaker C: That's Barrington Lee. Let's be clear.
[00:37:40] Speaker A: He was just upset.
[00:37:41] Speaker C: That only works in Jamaica.
[00:37:43] Speaker B: He's probably about 80 years old. He, in his mind, he got to.
[00:37:46] Speaker C: His teeth look like it.
You know, you get real old.
They coming out. Is it guns receding? The guns go down or they come.

[00:38:07] Speaker B: He killed all of them. All his songs. They had more.

[00:38:14] Speaker B: You know you like it. You like it?
[00:38:16] Speaker C: I do. Sibylly.

[00:38:30] Speaker C: Yo. Yeah, this nigga be coming up. He'll pull up to the studio bumping calypso music. Exactly like, who is that? Oh, you never heard of Steven Johnson? Like, no, nobody's heard of Steven Johnson. Yoshi, he's real big on Trinidad and Tobago. Nigga, I live in South Carolina. I never heard this nigga.
But shout out to all of the reggae music, calypso music.
Damn. This is going to be a weird turn.
I don't know how to segue into this, but it's been some stories of police doing bad. And now in Trump's America, it ain't going to Be no protesting. So I don't know how these people are going to get justice, but it was a man in Las Vegas.
43, 43 year old father. He called 911 for help during a home. Oh my God. His name is Brandon Durham. He called the emergency line Tuesday morning to report that two people were shooting outside of his home and were trying to break in.
His was one of multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the city's Sunset park neighborhood.
He reported that he was inside the house with his 15 year old daughter and he was going to lock himself in the bathroom.
Three officers responded to the home at 12:40am and immediately saw damage to multiple vehicles and the windows of the home. Body camera footage was played during a press conference Thursday. It showed officers kicking down the home's door. Why they kicked down the home's door upon arrival as screaming is heard inside the home. An officer rushes in with his firearms, firearm drawn. Walks through a narrow hallway where screaming and banging were heard. Two people can be seen struggling in the doorway. One in a red sweatshirt with a hood over their head and the other man apparently in his underwear with his arms around the person's sweatshirt. Around the person in the sweatshirt. The man without clothing was late identified as Durham and the person in the sweatshirt was Alejandra Boudreau. Boudreau, a suspect in the case. Hey. Dropped the knife. The officer said drop the knife. Approximately two seconds after issuing the command, the officer fired the gun and Durham appeared to be hit. According to the video, both Durham and Boudreaux fell to the ground and the officer advanced forward and fired his gun five more times. The knife was. Oh, this was in the video. The knife for circle.
So yeah, they arrested Boudreaux, but Durham died.
Oh, Boudreaux is a woman.
[00:41:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:41:09] Speaker C: Alejandra. Yeah. She is facing charges of home invasion with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, willful or wanton disregard of safety of persons regarding. I mean, resulting in death and child abuse, neglect or endangerment.
So yeah. Oh, they were in a relationship.
Interesting.
[00:41:33] Speaker B: That's crazy.
[00:41:37] Speaker C: So, yeah, that's one. So he got killed because of this crit?
[00:41:40] Speaker A: Yep.
I'd be telling my. I'd be telling my brothers. When I say brothers, I mean all men.
[00:41:47] Speaker C: Stop putting that thing on. Laying that thing down.
[00:41:50] Speaker B: That's what it is.
[00:41:51] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:41:52] Speaker A: Women will get you killed. I've had a couple of friends that got killed over a woman.
[00:41:59] Speaker C: Over a woman or by the woman?
[00:42:01] Speaker A: Over a woman. By a woman.
[00:42:03] Speaker C: Like messing around with Somebody, husband.
[00:42:06] Speaker A: What do you mean?
[00:42:08] Speaker C: I mean messing around with somebody wife.
[00:42:10] Speaker A: And then it's usually a boyfriend or something. Not even a husband yet. Also, they got a boyfriend and like she's out hoeing. Because that's what I'm gonna call it. Your hoes hoeing around. Get caught. And then the dude will stab somebody I know. Or shoot somebody I know.
[00:42:31] Speaker C: See, I always tell women, if they are in a relationship or whatever, they got somebody that close to them, I always ask them, are you cool with this person dying?
Because I will kill him if they step to me.
[00:42:43] Speaker A: They come to me, right.
[00:42:44] Speaker C: Some I will pull.
[00:42:46] Speaker A: You know, it's like the beef is with you, not me.
[00:42:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:49] Speaker A: I don't understand how you cool with this dying.
[00:42:52] Speaker C: If you want, we can continue this, but this gonna die.
[00:42:55] Speaker A: And this man died for her in.
[00:42:58] Speaker C: Front of his daughter.
[00:42:58] Speaker A: Because of her.
[00:42:59] Speaker C: In front of his daughter.
It was another incident in another domestic abuse call.
This happened in Independence, Missouri. Two month old Destiny Hope and her mother, Maria pike, were gunned down by Independence police and what community members are calling a state sanctioned execution. The killings were sparked outrage and demands for justice.
So on November, two month old. Yep.
[00:43:28] Speaker A: Like they gunned down a two month.
[00:43:30] Speaker C: Old on November 7th, when Talisa Combs, that's Destiny's grandmother, that's the baby. Called the police to report a domestic dispute at the overspring apartments and Independence. According to Talisa, she had been assaulted by Maria during a heated altercation. She wanted Maria arrested for assault, but what unfolded far exceeded anything she could have imagined.
She said that the officers came, said, they asked me what happened. I said I was assaulted by my son's girlfriend. And they asked if there was any weapons upstairs in the apartment. I said, no, but there's a baby up there, my granddaughter. Moments later, officers darted upstairs, the scene immediately escalating in an unfathomable fashion. And Talisa would soon learn that her warnings were completely ignored by the police.
It's footage of it.
I didn't watch. I don't like watching footage of it.
[00:44:23] Speaker A: Yeah, I can't watch footage.
[00:44:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I wouldn't want to see that.
[00:44:26] Speaker C: The officer stormed the building with pistols drawn and at least one cop sprinting up the stairs within a military style rifle.
And they kind of doing a lot of editorializing with, you know, but she was holding her daughter during the altercation, the Maria lady.
And instead of waiting for mental health people to come, the officers charging to the apartment like they were, you know, raiding the apartment or whatever, basically they shot her While she was holding the baby.
[00:44:57] Speaker B: While holding the baby?
[00:44:57] Speaker C: Yeah, the baby. The lady died, but the baby got shot in the head, so. Yeah.
[00:45:05] Speaker A: Is the baby alive?
[00:45:07] Speaker C: I think the baby's still alive.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:45:09] Speaker C: It doesn't say that the baby died. I'm trying to get to the end.
[00:45:13] Speaker A: This long as my thing is, why did they even begin shooting?
Did she advance toward that? Like, what made them.
[00:45:21] Speaker C: Did she have a knife or something?
[00:45:23] Speaker A: Shoot her.
[00:45:24] Speaker C: Get in this thing.
I should have finished reading it.
[00:45:27] Speaker B: Sorry.
[00:45:27] Speaker C: Sorry, listeners, y'all want to know, her name is Maria Pike.
They don't say.
[00:45:37] Speaker B: It's.
[00:45:37] Speaker C: The article's long, so this is a long ass article. They wrote this like they writing for the goddamn Wire.
[00:45:43] Speaker B: Yeah, you're right.
[00:45:47] Speaker C: All these.
I don't think the baby died.
[00:45:50] Speaker B: Pulled out a deadly weapon.
[00:45:51] Speaker C: Oh, she pulled out a knife.
[00:45:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, well, that's way down there.
But I mean.
[00:45:58] Speaker A: And they were waiting for mental health people, so she was. She was.
[00:46:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:46:03] Speaker A: She wasn't unhinged.
[00:46:04] Speaker C: Well, maybe they just meant to shoot her and not the damn baby. Like, she pulled a knife.
[00:46:08] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, for sure.
[00:46:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:46:09] Speaker B: You got to be mad at the mother too, though.
[00:46:11] Speaker C: Of course.
[00:46:12] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:46:12] Speaker C: You pull out a knife holding.
[00:46:14] Speaker B: Holding baby and having a physical. Something going on with the police. I put the baby down.
[00:46:21] Speaker C: You could be mad at the grandmama.
[00:46:24] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, because she said.
[00:46:26] Speaker C: She didn't say nothing about she got assaulted with a weapon.
[00:46:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:46:30] Speaker C: Be mad at the grandson.
[00:46:33] Speaker B: Yeah, he procreated with this your girl? Come over there and get your mama up.
[00:46:36] Speaker C: Can I call her one?
[00:46:38] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[00:46:39] Speaker C: Funky dog headed. What Snoop Dogg said that time.
What was it that Snoop said?
He said that about gay king.
[00:46:48] Speaker A: Oh, I can't remember you.
[00:46:49] Speaker C: Funky dog headed.
You. You procreated with this. Funky dog headed.
Only time I can see.
[00:46:56] Speaker A: People need to stop having kids with just anybody.
[00:46:58] Speaker C: She probably got that fire, though. She had that fire.
[00:47:01] Speaker B: That's why.
[00:47:01] Speaker C: That's why that thing raw, too.
[00:47:03] Speaker A: And things. Women are poison.
[00:47:05] Speaker C: Wrong dog.
[00:47:06] Speaker A: Wrong dog.
[00:47:07] Speaker C: Wrong any dog.
[00:47:08] Speaker A: That's. That's a man's choice.
[00:47:10] Speaker C: Yeah, well, I was. Oh, I was about to do some real dog. I ain't gonna say it.
[00:47:15] Speaker B: Don't do it.
[00:47:15] Speaker C: I ain't gonna say it.
[00:47:17] Speaker B: What else we got?
[00:47:19] Speaker C: I'm gonna keep it. Oh, I've got to write that down in my pet peeves.
Rushing me.
In other news, I saw this article.
I wonder how you guys would respond to this at the workplace. It was a doctor at a doctor's office.
And video shows him performing sexual acts in Front of workers. Now I saw the headline and then I saw the guy in the video. You see him walking around the office butt naked. All he had on was a hat.
[00:47:59] Speaker A: Wait, what is he?
[00:48:01] Speaker C: He's a doctor. You mean he's a human?
[00:48:04] Speaker A: Wait, no. Like, he's the doctor?
[00:48:07] Speaker C: Yeah, he's the doctor. He's walking around butt naked in the office. And so I'm. You don't see nobody else moving.
[00:48:14] Speaker A: He has to be unhinged.
Is this a hospital or his private practice?
[00:48:20] Speaker C: And he walking around. So he goes in and out of office or whatever.
Don't let me read this. All he said. A newly released video shows Ark. And this is in Blytheville, Arkansas, shows him walking around nude and performing sexual act. A sexual act in front of his workers. Now in the video, he's walking around in the office or whatever and you think like, there's nobody there. But then he goes to the front and it's just two women there, like doing regular shit like filing papers. Like this nigga just standing there. Butt, ass naked.
So an investigation was launched after complaint sent the medical board videos of David Tiffany. I think that's how they said it. It wasn't defined. It was a definite walking around his Blytheville practice in the nude. According to documents from a Freedom of Information act request, the footage was taken in 2019. So this footage was taken in 2019, but it's only been public now.
In the video, the doctor can be seen walking around naked, including in the hallway between patient rooms. One of the video clips shows Tiffany walking around the receptionist office naked in front of three women. He performed a sexual act directly on one of the women.
According to documents obtained from the medical board, the woman not only worked in his office as a lab tech for another company, but was also one of his patients.
According to the person who sent the board videos, all of them were taken during business hours. So they. So anybody just walk in?
[00:49:44] Speaker B: Appointment only yet? Appointment? Yeah.
[00:49:47] Speaker C: No walk ins.
[00:49:48] Speaker A: Like, is this his first time?
[00:49:50] Speaker C: Let me get to it. They claim that he uses position of power sexual grooming, salary increases. The groom employees and patients into repulsive sex acts.
On October 13, his license was suspended following an investigation.
I know, I read some of the other stuff. And they were saying that like, he would pay. He was paying people like $20,000 to, you know, do whatever, have sex with him or all kind of stuff. He was giving them raises.
Yeah.
[00:50:27] Speaker B: We missing something, man. Something.
[00:50:29] Speaker A: Something is missing.
[00:50:31] Speaker B: Something's missing. I watched.
[00:50:32] Speaker A: People knew.
[00:50:33] Speaker C: Yeah, they knew these people in but he was paying them. Why?
[00:50:36] Speaker A: Who reported him then?
[00:50:38] Speaker B: Listen, I'm watching.
[00:50:39] Speaker A: Did he hurt anybody? Like, that's my question.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: I'm watching the video.
He's casually. He's casually walking. Walking around like he's wearing a.
He looks like he feels like he's got gown on. There's a black lady behind. He's behind one of the black ladies. She didn't even turn around.
[00:50:57] Speaker C: Once they know it. Stay in on it. That's crazy.
[00:50:59] Speaker B: Something.
Dag. Well, I mean, if you get paid like that, then, right?
[00:51:04] Speaker C: 20 bands.
[00:51:05] Speaker A: I ain't saying nothing.
[00:51:06] Speaker B: Go ahead, Tom. Hurry up.
[00:51:08] Speaker A: This guy's such a sit it on the shoulder.
[00:51:10] Speaker C: So he was. He was informed that there was a video evidence. And he said, I don't know anything about that at all. I would have to see those things to have any idea what you talking about. But this isn't the first time that he's been investigated or whatever. He said earlier this year, someone complained about what he calls his naturist activities. So it was a complaint about him having nude photos on social media, and it included screenshots from his now deactivated Instagram account. And it's called Aked Dr. Dave.
[00:51:44] Speaker B: That's what I thought. And when I say it was missing something, that's what I was thinking.
[00:51:48] Speaker A: This is a gimmick. This is his thing.
[00:51:51] Speaker B: He had to be doing like a live. These probably live footages from a feed from webcams or something like that. No, this is his thing.
[00:51:59] Speaker C: This security footage.
[00:52:01] Speaker B: For real?
[00:52:01] Speaker C: Yeah, this security footage. Yeah.
[00:52:03] Speaker B: So he's standing there going into pizza. The pizza box. There's a pizza box on the desk, and he's just like casually going through the pizza box, getting a slice.
[00:52:12] Speaker A: Like he's stretching in the video, talking to his staff.
[00:52:16] Speaker C: So he responded to the medical board about the Instagram page, and he said that he's a naturist and his accounts are well known to the naturist community.
[00:52:24] Speaker A: He's a nudist, too.
[00:52:25] Speaker C: He cited the practice as promoting acceptance and body positivity. He said, we do not shame, sexualize fear. But you jacking off on people, though. So you are sexualizing. He said, fear or negatively stigmatized the naked body.
[00:52:37] Speaker A: These people are saying, yes. These people got freaking them too, definitely. If I have no freak in me, I'm no sir. I can't work here. But these people, like, oh, all right.
[00:52:48] Speaker C: But what if it's for the money.
[00:52:50] Speaker A: And I get paid?
[00:52:51] Speaker B: Yeah, Keisha. Keisha part of it, too.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: Yeah, they ain't on it, though.
[00:52:54] Speaker A: They let him sit it on the shoulder quite a few times.
[00:52:57] Speaker B: Yeah, that's how close he was.
[00:52:59] Speaker A: And it's like they took his. Okay, I get it. Why?
But it's like, why y'all took this man license. He didn't do any malpractice.
[00:53:09] Speaker C: Well, he was suspended.
[00:53:11] Speaker A: Was his license. His license was suspended? Yeah.
[00:53:13] Speaker C: His license was suspended? Yeah.
[00:53:15] Speaker A: Why? Probably because they usually suspend a license. Dirt for malpractice or like, you're drinking on the job, you're doing something like, illegal that could harm.
[00:53:23] Speaker B: He probably did. It's like I said, probably. He's probably posting some of this stuff.
[00:53:27] Speaker A: I wanna know some of this stuff.
[00:53:28] Speaker B: Might be getting posted.
[00:53:29] Speaker A: He got only fans. You can't tell me.
[00:53:31] Speaker C: Well, he's been investigated in the past for allegations surrounding illegally distributing pain medications. He was suspended in 2017 while they investigated claims of his over prescribing medications, but they found no evidence of him violating the Arkansas Medical Practice act and they closed investigation.
In 2011, he entered into a deferred prosecution agreement after he was investigated by the medical board and criminally charged for allegedly illegally. So he got a little pattern here now, but he was charged with illegally distributing pain medications, but the charges were dropped and he agreed not to practice medicine in Missouri for three years in 2013.
Oh, they closed the matter.
So he has a hearing set for December 6th.
[00:54:23] Speaker A: He needs to just move to nature and be a holistic doctor.
[00:54:27] Speaker C: I mean, but do holistic doctors get the hoes?
[00:54:30] Speaker A: No, I'm saying he could find. He could. He could. He could find his way.
[00:54:34] Speaker C: Yeah, but shout out to this doctor.
[00:54:36] Speaker A: Because it's like he's not doing it to children.
He's doing it to people that's giving consent.
[00:54:42] Speaker C: But can you. You can't really consent if you work for the person, though.
[00:54:46] Speaker A: Yes, you can.
[00:54:46] Speaker C: You can't. Well, you can't.
[00:54:48] Speaker A: It's a. It's a.
[00:54:50] Speaker B: The way they was in there, they Part of it.
[00:54:52] Speaker C: No, but like. But you can't. But like, if I work here, this is my livelihood. It's hard to find a job in whatever area. And my person say, well, the person that's over me says, well, you do this or you fire some people gonna do whatever. So that's why they say, like, if you in a position of power, people under. You can't consent. Like people that's like people that CEOs or whatever, they have sex with, the people in jail, they get arrested for sex crimes because those people can't consent. People like College professors can't have sex with the students, stuff like that. So these people may not have.
[00:55:34] Speaker A: I don't think it's all of them.
[00:55:36] Speaker C: No, I ain't saying all of them, but it's still a.
I wish I.
[00:55:40] Speaker A: Could see their faces because they all look real comfortable sitting there.
[00:55:43] Speaker C: I mean, you might get used to it, but they still don't make it right.
[00:55:46] Speaker A: Oh, no, nothing. Not saying it's right. Not saying it's right at all.
[00:55:50] Speaker B: I think they're part of it.
[00:55:52] Speaker C: I don't.
[00:55:52] Speaker B: They're part of it. I think this whole thing was Internet something. That's. That's what was getting them jammed up.
[00:55:58] Speaker C: I can't be.
[00:55:59] Speaker B: But we're doing lives or something. But they way too comfortable in it.
[00:56:04] Speaker C: If it was doing. If it was that, it would have came out sooner than five years.
[00:56:08] Speaker B: Yeah, but you also had complaints of people that used to work there or, you know, people that work there now. You. They'd be like, yeah, Tom is always, you know, brushing up against me. You know, you know, crazy stuff like that.
[00:56:21] Speaker A: Like, none of them are talking. The fact that he's already suspended. Like, his license suspended. Is suspended now. So being that. That is. They don't have a job right now. And like, I could talk if I want to now, but none of them are talking.
[00:56:35] Speaker C: We don't know yet.
[00:56:36] Speaker B: Yeah, we don't know.
[00:56:37] Speaker A: But we don't know.
[00:56:37] Speaker B: I don't think they are.
[00:56:38] Speaker A: I think we'll wait.
[00:56:39] Speaker B: I think they all part of.
[00:56:40] Speaker A: It's the 23rd.
[00:56:42] Speaker C: He paid them. He was paying them big money, though.
[00:56:44] Speaker A: Yeah, it came out on the 15th.
[00:56:46] Speaker B: I want to find out who Keisha is. The Keisha in the video.
[00:56:50] Speaker C: You think she Keisha?
[00:56:51] Speaker A: I'd have been working for time.
[00:56:53] Speaker C: I'm saying you think she. Keisha. She might be damn gloen or some shit. Might be an old ass lady.
[00:56:59] Speaker B: Nah, you don't see that one in the video.
[00:57:01] Speaker A: Nah, she. She young.
[00:57:02] Speaker C: She young.
[00:57:03] Speaker A: She young.
[00:57:04] Speaker B: Her head's purple.
[00:57:05] Speaker C: Oh, God, she young. Well, you know what that is?
[00:57:11] Speaker A: Her head not purple. She wearing a purple shirt.
[00:57:14] Speaker C: She wearing a purple shirt.
[00:57:15] Speaker B: I don't know. Check it out.
[00:57:15] Speaker A: But her head done, though.
[00:57:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:57:19] Speaker A: The fact that he's just stretching behind them as he laughs and talks with them. That's crazy. That is diabolical.
[00:57:28] Speaker C: You know what else is diabolical?
[00:57:30] Speaker A: What?
[00:57:30] Speaker C: All of these food recalls.
[00:57:32] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't.
[00:57:34] Speaker C: Yeah. So it was a listeria outbreak linked to South Carolina meat.
[00:57:38] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:57:40] Speaker C: It leaves an infant dead. £72,000. Affected.
This is out of Spartanburg. Officials have announced an expanded recall involving a South Carolina based company's products suspended of being linked to a multistate listeria outbreak that has already led to one death.
72,240 pounds of ready to eat meat and poultry products from Spartanburg based Yu Shang Food.
[00:58:06] Speaker B: So ready to eat meat is probably like a, you know, sausage or soup packages or soup.
[00:58:14] Speaker C: No, probably like.
[00:58:15] Speaker A: No, it's. It's. It's more so that's in the, like heat it up and it's go.
[00:58:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:58:21] Speaker A: To go.
[00:58:22] Speaker B: Vietnamese sausages.
[00:58:25] Speaker A: No, not even that.
[00:58:26] Speaker C: It's like, you know, like.
[00:58:28] Speaker A: Like the TV dinner type stuff.
[00:58:30] Speaker C: No, I ain't gonna say that.
[00:58:31] Speaker A: You wouldn't.
[00:58:32] Speaker C: You know, like you got. You can buy like the ready cooked bacon, that type of.
[00:58:36] Speaker B: I never heard of that.
[00:58:37] Speaker C: They got bacon that's in the box and it's already cooked. You just got to warm it up a little bit. Oh, but not like. Yeah, not microwave type.
[00:58:44] Speaker B: Roger woods already.
[00:58:45] Speaker A: No, they are.
[00:58:47] Speaker C: Roger woods are. Yeah.
[00:58:48] Speaker A: Really?
[00:58:50] Speaker C: So far, the centers of the CDC and Prevention has identified 11 cases related to the products across four states. Nine people were hospitalized and one person has died, the infant. California has reported the most confirmed illnesses, seven and one confirmed death.
Illinois, New Jersey and New York each have at least one confirmed case. And authorities believe that there may be cases in states that haven't yet reported them. But nothing in South Carolina yet related to the recall, I think. Okay, so the items are Japanese char siu pork belly, braised pork belly and brown sauce.
Seasoned pork feet.
Seasoned pork hop. What the is that?
[00:59:37] Speaker A: What were you saying earlier?
[00:59:39] Speaker C: What? You just wait. Chinese brand spicy duck Here.
Yu Shang brand cooked chicken. Chinese brand spicy duck neck, Beijing seasoned whole chicken. Chinese brand spicy. Let me tell you something. All of this shit niggas are safe.
[00:59:59] Speaker A: Yeah, right.
[01:00:00] Speaker C: Chinese brands.
[01:00:00] Speaker A: Because I don't even. I.
[01:00:01] Speaker C: Not even spicy duck tongues. Chinese brand spicy duck wings. Okay, hold up now. Chinese brand chicken feet. Niggas love chicken feet.
[01:00:10] Speaker A: No, I don't eat that.
[01:00:11] Speaker C: Yushang sausage made with pork and chicken. Seasoned pork tongues seasoned. Cause see, niggas don't buy seasoned stuff.
[01:00:20] Speaker A: We don't trust nobody's seasoning.
[01:00:21] Speaker C: Chicken quarter leg, braised beef shank. God damn.
Oh, is it some soup? You did say soup. Spicy pork feet, lamb's head soup.
[01:00:34] Speaker A: I got Progresso chicken noodle.
[01:00:36] Speaker C: Okay, how about spicy chicken gizzards?
Pork snout meat. Jesus Christ. This shit that niggas do, we not eating that.
[01:00:45] Speaker A: So let's move on.
[01:00:47] Speaker B: You never know. Those are all Asian people that got sick.
[01:00:49] Speaker C: Just Asian people that got sick.
[01:00:50] Speaker B: Asian people got sick.
[01:00:51] Speaker C: And, you know, their stomachs ain't strongest.
They got weak immune systems. You know, they got Covid over here.
[01:00:59] Speaker B: Speaking of pork.
[01:01:01] Speaker C: Yes. Speaking of Asian food. Keith Lee, he's a food critic. You don't know who Keith Lee is, do you?
[01:01:09] Speaker A: I do now.
[01:01:09] Speaker C: You do now. Okay. He's a food critic. He found something moving into sushi. Oh, wow. I say he had a couple million. He got 16.8 million followers on TikTok.
[01:01:20] Speaker B: What. What happened with him at the. At the awards that time? He had. He had a date or somebody. Somebody said something to his girl.
[01:01:28] Speaker C: No, no, somebody. I forgot what it was, but somebody walked up him. Like a prankster or something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. One of the YouTube people. And they walked up to him kind of aggressively.
[01:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:01:39] Speaker C: And his people, kind of. His security, whatever, kind of like.
[01:01:43] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:01:43] Speaker C: Brushed him off. That part I remember.
[01:01:46] Speaker B: No, you know.
[01:01:46] Speaker C: No, it was something.
[01:01:47] Speaker B: Award.
[01:01:48] Speaker C: It was something else, though. At that same award.
[01:01:50] Speaker B: Somebody. Yeah, somebody. This.
[01:01:52] Speaker C: No, it wasn't Kiki Palmer.
Somebody that was presenting or something like that. They said call him the name wrong. No, they said he was the wrong person. Okay. No, they gave him a rose. That's what it was. They gave him a little rose or something. He was with his wife and he dropped it on.
[01:02:08] Speaker B: Exactly.
[01:02:09] Speaker C: On the ground and then videoed. And it was some like that. But then at the same one, the little shit with the person walking up on him.
[01:02:16] Speaker B: Listen, send the email who that person was.
[01:02:18] Speaker C: I forgot who the.
[01:02:19] Speaker B: It was like Kiki, I think it was.
[01:02:21] Speaker C: Was it Kiki? It might have been Keke. It might have been Kiki. It might have been Kiki. But he, you know, he do his food reviews or whatever and he was doing some sushi.
And the sushi people in the. In the comments, the viewers saw it first. Viewers saw that it moved. But he had done. After that. He had already ate it.
[01:02:40] Speaker A: I don't think he got immediately.
[01:02:43] Speaker C: Yeah, it was a fob sushi. And he said it started out positive. His review was positive. But I saw it. I don't know.
[01:02:53] Speaker A: Sushi.
[01:02:54] Speaker B: I didn't see it move. His hand was kind of shaking. He didn't.
[01:02:58] Speaker A: No, they said that. Apparently they said it was a little worm that they saw.
[01:03:01] Speaker C: Yeah, but the people, the fob sushi people said that it was the way he was holding the chopsticks.
[01:03:07] Speaker B: Chopsticks.
[01:03:07] Speaker C: Yeah. But then like a day or two later, somebody else got sick and then they had to, you know, a couple places or whatever. But a lot of these people doing these food reviews.
[01:03:18] Speaker A: I don't eat raw food.
[01:03:19] Speaker B: Talk about food reviews.
[01:03:21] Speaker A: Like raw sushi. I guess that's the point. But I can't do it. I need my. My food cooked.
[01:03:26] Speaker C: The only sushi place I go to is a cow fish.
[01:03:29] Speaker A: Where's that?
[01:03:30] Speaker C: They have them all over. I've been the one in Raleigh, have been the one in Charlotte. But they like make like. It sound wild, but they'll make like steak style sushi. But it'd be like, you know, a steak instead of like raw fish in the middle. It'd be like steak, steak. Or they make like a cheeseburger roll sushi. Like cheeseburger. But it got like, you know what I'm saying? You can make it on whatever.
[01:03:54] Speaker A: But that's the only.
[01:03:55] Speaker C: I can't do the raw fish.
[01:03:57] Speaker A: I can't do the raw sushi. I can't do it.
I had one, I had it once and I was like, it just did.
[01:04:06] Speaker C: Something you did you get sick or just mind. Just a mine.
[01:04:11] Speaker A: It's my mind.
Can't do it.
[01:04:14] Speaker C: Shout out to Keith Lee. He be changing lives, him and the other dude. Chime Time. They be giving people like, they. I just saw what Chime Time gave this lady like $5,000.
[01:04:25] Speaker B: I saw a review. I think it was either chime time. He did a review on a place in Atlanta.
After he did the review, the lines was wrapped around the building.
[01:04:36] Speaker C: Probably the same place like this past week or something.
[01:04:38] Speaker B: It was called Red Rice, a gray brick building.
[01:04:41] Speaker C: I don't remember the building, man. It was red. I know he did this place called Red Rice and he liked the food and he went in and gave the lady like $5,000 afterwards or whatever because she did it.
[01:04:51] Speaker A: If he ever did a review on a restaurant I own and I have a wrapped around, you never have to pay for it ever again. You never have to pay for a meal. When you come visit me sometime.
[01:05:01] Speaker C: I know he did a review. Chime Time did a review. This egg roll place up in like the Charlotte area. She like a food truck. And ever since then, like her line be like crazy long. Yeah, Keith Lee, he did one one time. Somebody, they was doing the food out of their house and people came so crazy until like they had to shut it down because it was too many. Too many people, like would be in the neighborhood. People was calling on them, whatever. Then the police got involved.
[01:05:27] Speaker A: Haters, man.
[01:05:29] Speaker C: Well, not that like it's so crazy until like, people can't get in and out of their neighborhood. And so, you know what I'm saying, it was just too much.
[01:05:37] Speaker A: What kind of neighborhood is this? Gated.
No, that's what I'm saying. I mean, get out the damn neighborhood.
[01:05:44] Speaker C: But you cooking out the house.
[01:05:46] Speaker B: You ain't supposed to be doing that.
[01:05:47] Speaker C: Yeah, you ain't supposed to be doing it. I mean, technically, yeah, like, where they were cooking at, the authorities was like, you know, y'all. Y'all can't cook. The. What y'all doing. Y'all can't do it. But it just got so big until they couldn't, like, hide it or whatever.
[01:06:00] Speaker A: But, yeah, I'm sure she didn't expect it.
[01:06:03] Speaker C: I don't know if it was a she.
[01:06:04] Speaker A: Oh, I'm sure they didn't expect it.
[01:06:06] Speaker C: I can't remember. It might have been a she, but it was a family.
[01:06:08] Speaker B: They got a truck now.
[01:06:10] Speaker C: I hope they were working on getting a truck. Yeah, those people.
[01:06:13] Speaker B: Oh, I know them people because. Well, if it's the one I'm thinking about my. They lived near my younger brother at first, before they came to Charlotte.
[01:06:21] Speaker C: No, this. This place wasn't in Charlotte. I'm talking to keep the neighborhood. One wasn't in Charlotte.
[01:06:25] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[01:06:25] Speaker C: Yeah, the neighborhood wasn't in Charlotte. That was.
[01:06:30] Speaker A: Let's help these people get their trucks, y'all.
[01:06:32] Speaker C: Yeah, but that's why I like him.
See, what else happened before we get out of here.
Y'all did. Where do y'all think the Internet comes from?
[01:06:44] Speaker A: What do you mean?
[01:06:44] Speaker C: Like, how do we get the Internet?
Like, the network or whatever. In my mind, I thought it was just satellites.
[01:06:51] Speaker A: I think it's beyond satellites.
[01:06:53] Speaker B: Satellites in space. That's what I was thinking.
[01:06:54] Speaker C: It all come from satellites. So I heard somebody say this, but I thought it would be, like, too hard to do or whatever. Cause it's just so vast. But apparently it's fiber optic cables in the ocean that go from place to place.
[01:07:07] Speaker B: No, well, fiber optic cable is to make it, like, say. All right, say we're out in the middle of nowhere right now.
[01:07:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:07:15] Speaker B: And to send a signal from, you know, the main place, sometimes you would have to. You can't send copper wire.
[01:07:21] Speaker A: Bounce it.
[01:07:22] Speaker B: Yeah, you can't send copper wire. So fiber optic carries off. Carries more because it's light.
[01:07:28] Speaker C: No, but I'm saying. I didn't know was. Whatever kind of cables. I didn't know was cables in the ocean.
[01:07:33] Speaker A: But everybody doesn't have fiber optics.
[01:07:35] Speaker B: That's the same case it's whatever on the other side of the ocean they trying to send signal over to there.
[01:07:41] Speaker C: So in Sweden, they're investigating the sighting of a Chinese vessel where two Baltic Sea Internet cables were severed.
It's a 135 mile Internet link between Lithuania and Sweden.
And it stopped working on Sunday.
[01:07:57] Speaker B: They probably had a dock or something over there in that dock area that needed Internet service over there or whatever kind of service.
[01:08:05] Speaker C: So it said later On Monday, a 730 mile cable carrying data between Germany and Finland was cut.
And so people don't believe that it was an accident. They think it was done intentionally because it was Chinese.
It was a certain Chinese ship that was there, the Yiping, it was a cargo ship. It was traveling from Russia to Egypt. And when it passed the two cables at around the same time, each was cut on Sunday and Monday.
[01:08:33] Speaker B: Oh, so they narrowed it down. You know what, that same boat came.
[01:08:37] Speaker C: Through here the other day.
So back in 2023, another Chinese vessel got investigated and they found out that the Chinese vessel was dragging its anchor and they cut a cable like that.
Well, it damaged the gas line and a telecommunications line in the Gulf of Finland. But I just didn't know that it was like cables that did the shit. I just thought it was.
[01:09:03] Speaker B: Nah, that's satellite. That's just a way to.
[01:09:05] Speaker A: It's wiring.
[01:09:05] Speaker B: That's just a way to, to get it over there, save say. All right, we're here in Florence and this was all wooded area. To get it in Timmonsville, you would.
[01:09:16] Speaker C: You know, run a fiber optic cables 730 miles.
[01:09:21] Speaker B: Hey, fiber optics is light. It's not copper anymore.
[01:09:24] Speaker C: It's still long.
[01:09:25] Speaker B: Yeah, but life goes how long? As far as. Almost as far as you can see.
[01:09:31] Speaker C: Yeah, true, true, true. I'm just thinking about that. Somebody had to lay the line down. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. 730 miles of line.
[01:09:38] Speaker A: Shoot, think about when you think about that. Think about the roads, the highways, the bridges.
[01:09:44] Speaker C: Yeah, but the roads ain't underwater tunnels.
[01:09:47] Speaker B: You had to go under roads though.
[01:09:49] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:09:49] Speaker B: The only reason I know is because working with Spectrum at one time.
[01:09:53] Speaker C: Oh, you work with Spectrum where to tell people now they can find you.
[01:09:55] Speaker B: I used to work in Spectrum. Yeah, find me.
[01:09:57] Speaker C: I just always thought it was satellites.
[01:09:59] Speaker B: Nah, it's not.
[01:10:01] Speaker C: I guess I'm the dummy then.
[01:10:03] Speaker B: I tell you one thing.
[01:10:04] Speaker C: Tell me two things.
[01:10:05] Speaker B: When I was younger, I worked at a telecommunication in New York, okay. And we ran fiber optic cable from the 47th, 42nd floor of the Federal building, down all the way to the basement. That's two floors down across the street and up four floors to another building. Fiber optic cable.
[01:10:26] Speaker C: It's still a cable. I ain't. I'm not fiber optic, but I'm not like amazed at the cable running in like from my house to that house or whatever.
[01:10:39] Speaker A: You mean 750 miles?
[01:10:41] Speaker C: That's my thing. Like that's a lot of cake underwater. Hey, that's how they got where the anchors be at.
[01:10:46] Speaker B: That's how they gotta get.
[01:10:47] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying? That's my thing. But yeah, we talked about your son earlier. What's the furthest you let your son? Well, he's six, so he ain't walking. He's six right now. He ain't going far.
[01:11:00] Speaker A: He not going far. Right?
[01:11:00] Speaker C: He ain't going far. It's a mom that in Georgia, she facing jail time after her 10 year old son walked less than a mile away from home by himself.
[01:11:09] Speaker B: Where was he going to do, though?
[01:11:12] Speaker A: Was he coming home from school?
[01:11:14] Speaker B: Nah, I said less than a mile. He was going on a mission.
[01:11:17] Speaker A: No, he was less than a mile.
[01:11:19] Speaker C: Say less than a mile.
[01:11:22] Speaker A: That's not far.
[01:11:24] Speaker C: Okay. So she took another one of her kids to a doctor's appointment. And then she received a call from the sheriff's office that her son had left their home and wandered in town.
He was found by deputies less than a mile from the family's home.
[01:11:42] Speaker B: Yeah, it probably depended on who was watching him.
[01:11:45] Speaker C: He probably was home alone.
[01:11:46] Speaker A: He wasn't home alone.
[01:11:47] Speaker B: That's what I mean.
[01:11:47] Speaker A: See now that part.
[01:11:49] Speaker B: Home alone or a teenager was watching him.
[01:11:51] Speaker A: That part. You have to be 12 years old.
[01:11:53] Speaker C: To be home by yourself.
[01:11:54] Speaker A: Mm.
[01:11:56] Speaker C: Shit. My mom been locked up.
[01:11:57] Speaker B: Mine too.
[01:11:59] Speaker C: Eight years old, latchkey kid.
[01:12:01] Speaker A: Yeah, you have to be. Technically, you have to be 12 years old to be home alone.
[01:12:05] Speaker B: B. Did you have your. Your key on the shoestring around your neck?
[01:12:08] Speaker C: No. Hell no. Somebody. I had my key in my book bag. And one time, well, I used to lose it so much until my mama put it under the. Under the mat. And one day, Reggie. Reggie went to my house. I don't know why he was home from school. Went in my house and stole my damn Super Nintendo.
[01:12:26] Speaker B: Super Nintendo. I remember that story.
[01:12:27] Speaker C: He stole my super Nintendo.
[01:12:28] Speaker B: Your mom mad at him?
[01:12:30] Speaker C: Well, no, not my mama. My mama, she was asking around the neighborhood. So shout out to Jamal. Jamal. Mama. She was a stay at home mama. They had money. Cause their daddy, he worked at ups. So my mama she went down there to their house and asked, and she was like, yeah, well, I did see Reggie walking down the street with a bag. So my mama went to Reggie house and said something to Reggie mama like, you know, did Reggie. And Reggie mama. She ain't even said nothing. She just went to the closet. But no, she wasn't like, mm, she just went and got it and handed to my mama and closed the door.
I don't know. She was in on it. She just didn't care.
Yeah. So that was my last key, kid. And then. But it was my fault, really. It really was my fault, because I couldn't keep up with the damn key.
[01:13:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:13:16] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying?
[01:13:17] Speaker A: I mean, you didn't tell Reggie to go steal it.
[01:13:19] Speaker C: Nah, but he called chicken dogs, though. But he. You know, he knew where your key was.
[01:13:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:13:23] Speaker C: I mean, it ain't hard. Just check it.
[01:13:25] Speaker A: Where Reggie at now? Jail.
[01:13:28] Speaker C: I got a story about Rick. If y'all remind me. I'll tell you after the sure Ridge ain't in jail.
[01:13:34] Speaker A: I'm playing.
[01:13:36] Speaker C: I mean, I got some jail stories about some. Trust me, that.
That track by their life. You know what I'm saying?
You want to say it? I know you want to say it.
[01:13:55] Speaker B: No, I don't want to say it.
[01:13:56] Speaker C: You don't say what else you got?
[01:13:57] Speaker B: Nah, what else you got?
[01:14:01] Speaker C: Hold it again real quick. The McRib is back.
McRib is back.
[01:14:07] Speaker B: There's applause.
[01:14:08] Speaker C: We got no clap.
[01:14:10] Speaker A: Y'all.
[01:14:11] Speaker B: Come on, man. It's a McRib.
[01:14:13] Speaker C: You like McRib?
[01:14:14] Speaker A: They were just.
Okay, it was the onions, but still, I'm.
[01:14:18] Speaker C: But you mentioned that. I'm scared.
[01:14:20] Speaker A: Big. Thank you.
[01:14:21] Speaker C: I'm scared.
[01:14:22] Speaker A: I would not be excited.
[01:14:23] Speaker C: Yeah. I'm scared to go to McDonald's.
[01:14:24] Speaker A: Look, Elle's like, I'm going, Nah, I'm not going.
[01:14:28] Speaker B: But McRib is, like, a staple, man.
[01:14:31] Speaker A: Is it?
[01:14:31] Speaker C: So you gonna get.
[01:14:32] Speaker A: Never had it.
[01:14:33] Speaker C: Oh, you say you not going?
[01:14:34] Speaker B: No, I'm not getting it.
[01:14:34] Speaker A: You better not.
[01:14:35] Speaker B: Ever since I realized the shape of the McRib.
The shape of the McRib got the bone shape in it. Ain't no bones in it. So ever since then, I was like, you know, once you get older, it's like, man, what is that?
[01:14:48] Speaker C: And then they got them onions on.
[01:14:49] Speaker B: There, too, so that's my main. I tell them without the onions.
[01:14:52] Speaker C: Nah, I like the onions. I'm saying they got the onions, and the onions what made everybody sick. Yeah, but then you can buy the McRib sauce now.
[01:14:58] Speaker B: So that's the thing I want.
[01:14:59] Speaker C: You gonna get the ribbon? McRib sauce.
[01:15:01] Speaker B: The sauce pretty good.
[01:15:02] Speaker C: Okay. All right. I mean, I just get it for the nostalgia, but I'm not.
[01:15:06] Speaker B: The barbecue sauce. It's not like rib sauce or not.
[01:15:09] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. It's the barbecue sauce. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Another good news.
Charges have been dropped. He's been exonerated.
[01:15:17] Speaker A: What's his name?

[01:26:19] Speaker B: Lethal Injection.
[01:26:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:26:20] Speaker B: That's not a death certificate.
[01:26:22] Speaker C: I'm just joking.
[01:26:23] Speaker B: We'll argue about that later.
[01:26:25] Speaker C: I'm just joking. That's what the comments saying now. Because of somebody else you're gonna mention later.
[01:26:29] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, I know why. But if you ever get a chance, listen to track two.
All right, I'm gonna say, if you're an Ice Cube fan, you like Ice Cube's voice and you like that west coast sound, then you'll like this album. But if you're just trying to get into him, you're not gonna like it. You'll pass it up.
But track two is one of my favorites. Okay. It. It's my ego.
[01:26:59] Speaker C: Oh, that's the name. Okay.
[01:27:00] Speaker B: Yeah, that's it. And we go into a R B. I got an R B1 here.

I mean, you know, Eric Bellinger.
I like. I liked him for a minute. Now. He did put out a lot of mixtapes and stuff like that. And he just put this album out this Friday that came out. The name of the album is It All Makes Sense Later.
[01:27:28] Speaker C: I know somebody that Eric Bellinger. Makes them moist.
[01:27:32] Speaker B: Yeah. A lot of females.
[01:27:33] Speaker C: Women.
[01:27:34] Speaker B: A lot of females.
[01:27:35] Speaker C: Women.
[01:27:36] Speaker B: And if you listen to this, you don't know who Eric Ballinger is.
If you saw the tiny desk of.
[01:27:43] Speaker A: Usher, I was wondering why.
[01:27:45] Speaker B: Have you saw the tiny deso. Usher?
[01:27:47] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, he was in that.
[01:27:48] Speaker B: He was the one that did the whatever. Yeah, the high voice challenge.
[01:27:54] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out. Eric Bellinger.
[01:27:56] Speaker B: That's him. He's been around for a minute, but a lot of. He's kind of underground.
His new album just came out. It gives a more. It gives a Afro vibe beat.
[01:28:08] Speaker C: Where he from? He from Afro?
[01:28:10] Speaker B: No, he's from.
I kind of want to say Detroit or somewhere like that. I just remember him.
[01:28:16] Speaker C: Cultural appropriation.
Yeah, I'm just joking.
[01:28:19] Speaker B: Whatever you said. But this. This album's good. It is a full listen through.
[01:28:26] Speaker C: When people say stuff like ain't no good R and B out no more and stuff, you gotta mention him.
[01:28:31] Speaker B: Yes, you do.
[01:28:32] Speaker C: I just tell people they don't know what they're talking about.
[01:28:37] Speaker B: Yeah. My favorite track on the album is track number two special. And that's one of those ones.
And I'm gonna go to my last one for the day.
[01:28:49] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:28:49] Speaker B: Everybody's talking about it. The Internet is going crazy.
I think this was an unannounced drop.
[01:28:56] Speaker C: It definitely was Kendrick Lamar.
[01:28:59] Speaker B: And it's titled gnx.
And I think Kendrick Lamar ate the blue pill.
[01:29:07] Speaker C: What you mean?
[01:29:08] Speaker B: He's on another level right now.
[01:29:10] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I was lost. He.
[01:29:12] Speaker B: He. If you know the blue pill or the red pill.
[01:29:14] Speaker C: Yeah, he ate the blue pill.
[01:29:16] Speaker B: He leveled up.
[01:29:18] Speaker C: I was in the gym for about two hours and I let it play and play and play. And I just. Maybe I'm not smart enough.
[01:29:26] Speaker B: What?
[01:29:27] Speaker C: I don't. Just don't.
[01:29:29] Speaker B: We're not gonna talk to you right now because he.
[01:29:32] Speaker C: He. I can tell he's saying some stuff that I don't know what he talking about. Like, he's talking about people.
[01:29:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:29:38] Speaker C: Like on one of the songs, they cut some out and they're saying that he might be talking about Ice Cube.
[01:29:45] Speaker B: He's talking about a lot of people out there. But you know what? The people that's into Kendrick Lamar, they almost can decode.
[01:29:52] Speaker C: He's saying some of the. Like, even the date that it dropped, it dropped on November 22, Friday. Do you know what else happened November 22?
[01:30:01] Speaker B: No.
[01:30:01] Speaker C: 1963.
[01:30:03] Speaker B: What?
[01:30:05] Speaker C: Kennedy got shot. And they're saying it was done intentionally because this was a headshot.
[01:30:10] Speaker B: For real.
[01:30:11] Speaker C: Just a little like that.
[01:30:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, Internet goes crazy on. Yeah.
[01:30:14] Speaker C: And they be like. Like you say they be Decoding this, that, and the third. Like, if he. If half of the theories with the stuff he be doing is true, it's crazy.
[01:30:22] Speaker B: There's. There's Internet theories. The biggest Internet theories are Bigfoot and Kendrick Lamar lyrics.
[01:30:29] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, they be bringing that shit down.
[01:30:32] Speaker B: My favorite on there is Squabble up.
[01:30:35] Speaker C: But y'all heard that before.
[01:30:37] Speaker B: Yeah, I think they heard that one. But everybody's talking about TV Off.
[01:30:42] Speaker C: Is that the one where he talk about Lil Wayne?
[01:30:44] Speaker B: Yeah, supposedly.
[01:30:46] Speaker C: No, he do say something about Lil Wayne. He says.
[01:30:48] Speaker B: I don't know if he said his name.
[01:30:50] Speaker C: No, he said, well, maybe that's not the track. But on the track where he's talking about used to be something. No, no, no, no. He says he think he disappointed Lil Wayne.
[01:31:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
