[00:00:00] Speaker A: Let's get it started in here. Gossip, music, news, entertainment, and heated discussions. The DJ Blaze radio show starts now. [00:00:38] Speaker B: Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to Wednesday's episode of the DJ Blaz radio show podcast. Hell. How you doing. [00:01:27] Speaker A: For the vegetables? [00:01:28] Speaker B: Yeah, don't come for none of that. So we're gonna start off with the homie Philly, because Philly sent us an email, and it's the list. You date them but not bring them home episode. [00:01:40] Speaker A: Oh, you remember that? [00:01:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Say your boy, your L, your Corey. Interesting list. Topics I. With this Joan. Lol. Of course, I can't follow the rules, so I double up my jones. Pause. So I'm gonna go from 10 to one. Said number 10. And Niecy Nash said, can't bring an old head home. Number nine, sexy red. Can't bring a ratchet home. [00:02:06] Speaker A: I bring the old head home, though. [00:02:10] Speaker B: Yeah, she. I bring these Nash, but she. I don't know. [00:02:14] Speaker A: She. [00:02:14] Speaker B: She lives too much of the lifestyle, and I don't know how my mama feel about the lifestyle. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know about that. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to, you know, it's the month. But, you know, Miss Freaks off. [00:02:52] Speaker A: You, Camera. [00:04:08] Speaker B: One would probably. Probably be number six. Yeah, yeah, exactly. [00:05:05] Speaker C: I'm not judging at all. I'm just saying. But nevertheless, shout out to Paulie Bean and her bland fried chicken or whatever. My list go, go as follows. [00:05:33] Speaker A: Pressing buttons now. [00:05:34] Speaker B: It was about to end anyway, so I had to wait. Yeah. [00:05:39] Speaker C: Okay, so my list for women that I would date, quote, unquote, or have sex with and not, like, marry. Let's go with number five, Janice Hart. Shout out to her chocolate ass. Listen, it's very thick, fine, voluptuous, all of that, confident in her sexuality. Number four, gonna say Tracy Ellis Ross. [00:06:07] Speaker B: What? [00:06:07] Speaker A: What older cougars I'm bringing home. [00:06:10] Speaker C: It's always a reason they single. As far as the older cougars without any kids, there's always a reason that they're single. You know what I'm saying? So number three, I'm gonna go with Karisha. Now, she ain't got a lot put on her from Diddy and likings, and she goes all the way on the freak meter because she didn't dealt with Diddy. So I'll take her young man. [00:06:38] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:06:40] Speaker C: Number two, I'm gonna improvise. Number two, go with Jill Scott. Sexualities off the chain, off the charts. It's a lot of that want her and big women or big girl women, like the chubby woman, they all be here. Find a nigga. They always got a nigga on the side somewhere. So I'd be more nervous about Jill Scott cheating on me than anybody else. That's why I would just have to fuck. [00:07:07] Speaker B: That's a good point. [00:07:08] Speaker C: The last one is it's gonna sound creepy. [00:07:13] Speaker B: That's a good point. People be thinking big women don't be having niggas, but big women do be having niggas. [00:07:18] Speaker A: They're loyal, too. [00:07:20] Speaker B: They not loyal if they be having niggas. [00:07:22] Speaker A: No, I'm talking about there's loyal ones. [00:07:23] Speaker B: Like, they're loyal too, but some of them do be having niggas on the side, and they be sneaky with it too. [00:07:29] Speaker A: That's all women, man. I ain't going with that. I'm bringing Jill Scott to the house. She gonna sing and everything. [00:07:35] Speaker B: Interesting. [00:07:37] Speaker C: Angel, she be doing like the podcast with Kevin Stage. Angel, do not judge but that. [00:07:45] Speaker B: I think angel is a freak. [00:07:47] Speaker C: My. My number one right there. Some of my honorable mentions do include Martha Stewart. I will say that proudly. [00:07:56] Speaker A: You. [00:07:56] Speaker B: Wow. [00:07:57] Speaker C: And then you could read off the other ones. But I think I have Peggy Bundy on there as well. I'll bring Peggy Shorty from Atlanta. Glover's love interest, Daisy, whatever her name was, she can get it too. But nevertheless, man, DJ High Star here, man. I hope that y' all are having a great list episode on whatever that may be this week. Y' all be easy, though. [00:08:23] Speaker B: I'll let y' all appreciate you my boy. [00:08:27] Speaker C: All right, so I don't know. [00:08:28] Speaker B: He sent another one, but yeah, his honorable mention was Chloe Bailey, Meg the Stallion, Billie Eilish, and Sydney Sweeney. Sydney Sweeney. I think that's the girl from Euphoria. [00:08:43] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:44] Speaker B: Young girl from Euphoria. So, yeah, email us djbladeshowmail.com Let us know some of the on whatever top five we've done in the past. [00:08:53] Speaker A: Yeah, if you got your own. [00:08:54] Speaker B: Yeah, you got your own. You want us to do one just like this one? High Star, send us this one, which is different. Cause around here we don't get street food like that too much. We got a lot of food trucks, but the need for street foods is really more of a city thing. [00:09:12] Speaker A: Yeah, but you know what? Some of these trucks are kind of based off of a street form somewhere else. [00:09:18] Speaker B: Definitely. Definitely. Yeah. Yeah. So we gonna go back and forth. So how we gonna do a little different? We gonna come up with 10, and after the 10, we gonna order em 10 to 1. [00:09:28] Speaker A: Bet. [00:09:29] Speaker B: So you wanna go first or you Want me to go first? [00:09:31] Speaker A: So I need to pick my best ten. Cause I. [00:09:33] Speaker B: No, you're gonna do five. I do five. [00:09:35] Speaker A: I know, but I need to pick out of my best ten. Five, Five. All right, five of my bet. [00:09:39] Speaker B: Just give me one real quick. Let's see what you and I'm. I'mma write them down. We'll see. [00:09:42] Speaker A: All right, let's go with gyro O. [00:09:46] Speaker B: See, that was on my list. [00:09:47] Speaker A: And you know what I put? I do gyro slash falafa. [00:09:54] Speaker B: That's the same. They the same thing. [00:09:56] Speaker A: Nah, cuz, you got the. [00:09:57] Speaker B: Well, you can. You get Kane 2 and want it now. We gotta. [00:10:00] Speaker A: I was just putting. [00:10:00] Speaker B: Cuz it has some parameters. [00:10:02] Speaker A: All right. [00:10:02] Speaker B: Yeah, Gyro So. All right, so for me and mine, all the ones. Cause I ain't gonna pick the real one that I think we both gonna have for number one. But for me, when I think of street food, I think you can walk and eat at the same time. Okay, that's how I picture a lot of these. [00:10:20] Speaker A: That's how I did it too. Like some handheld food that I would see a cart selling or something like that. [00:10:26] Speaker B: Or I can keep it pushing. I ain't got to sit down. I went to the food truck festival, the black food truck festival down in Charleston. And the food I got, in order for me to really enjoy it, I had to sit down. [00:10:38] Speaker A: Yeah, big plates. [00:10:39] Speaker B: I had to sit down when I wanted a big plate. It was just some wings and fries. [00:10:42] Speaker A: I got you. [00:10:42] Speaker B: So I can't walk around and eat that. [00:10:44] Speaker A: That's not street food. [00:10:45] Speaker B: That ain't street food. Nah, nah. So one of the things that we don't get them here a lot, but, you know, you get it in the city, and I feel like this is one of the perfect street foods is a beef patty. [00:10:57] Speaker A: Ah, come on, man. That was the next one I was gonna go with. Yep, you're right. [00:11:00] Speaker B: A beef patty. You can't go wrong with a beef patty. It's right there. They have the little paper. [00:11:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:05] Speaker B: You eat it. Boom, you on the move. Boom, bip, you gone. [00:11:08] Speaker A: See, in New York, pizzerias have beef patties too. And what they do is they cut it in half. They put the cheese in there, throw it in the oven with your little pizza. [00:11:19] Speaker B: So they do pizza. Is a calzone a street food? No, what I'm saying is that the Italian version of a beef patty, but they bigger, though. Calzone is strong. Bowl is bigger than the beef patty. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:11:32] Speaker A: And they. They're Totally. There. They're more like a hot pocket, like a, like a pot pie. I. It's not a beef patty. [00:11:39] Speaker B: Yeah. So what's your next one? [00:11:40] Speaker A: Oh, man, you done threw me off now. Shoot a beef patty with cocoa bread now. [00:11:44] Speaker B: And I just saw somebody eat that too. That, that guy with the deep voice and he be doing the food. [00:11:50] Speaker A: Oh, her baby. [00:11:51] Speaker B: No, not him. [00:11:53] Speaker A: You know what I'm talking about. [00:11:53] Speaker B: No, I don't know who you're talking about. [00:11:54] Speaker A: He was on the, the commercials after he got big sitting. Sit in the car and do the reviews. [00:11:59] Speaker B: No, not this guy. Not that I know the guy you talking about. You talking. He was on like a Whopper commercial or some. Yeah, this guy, he's. He's a dark skinned dude. He'd go to different places and eat the food. But he got like a real like, oh, movie review voice. [00:12:13] Speaker A: Tick tock guy. [00:12:14] Speaker B: I don't know. I probably is Tick tock voiceover guy. He got a real voiceover sound. [00:12:18] Speaker A: This is crazy. I would lick my butt. [00:12:20] Speaker B: Yeah, he say some wild stuff like that. Dark skinned out. He wear glasses. [00:12:24] Speaker A: Exactly. Yeah. [00:12:24] Speaker B: The food is. [00:12:25] Speaker A: This is exquisite. Yeah, he says like I would smack my mother. [00:12:29] Speaker B: Yeah, he speak real super proper. He nutshade everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah. What's the next one we're gonna throw in there? [00:12:36] Speaker A: All right, let's go with. Let's go with a hot dog. [00:12:40] Speaker B: Okay. [00:12:42] Speaker A: A street cart hot dog slash New York hot dog. [00:12:46] Speaker B: What's a New York hot dog? What? [00:12:48] Speaker A: Come on. [00:12:48] Speaker B: A New York hot dog. [00:12:49] Speaker A: New York hot dog is usually Sabrett the brand. You know what that is? [00:12:55] Speaker B: Sabrette. I'm talking about what's toppings. I ain't talking about who. I'm talking about what toppings you putting on. [00:13:01] Speaker A: I'm a picky eater. I just do sauerkraut. [00:13:03] Speaker B: Sauerkraut is not picky. [00:13:05] Speaker A: Yes, it is. When you don't get nothing else with it. No ketchup? Ketchup, no. Nothing. [00:13:09] Speaker B: Sauerkraut is nothing but fermented cabbage. Right? [00:13:14] Speaker A: It's cabbage, but I don't know if it's fermented. It's more a vinegar based cabbage maybe. Right. [00:13:19] Speaker B: I think it's a fermented cabbage. [00:13:21] Speaker A: It better not be fermented. Nah, it's not fermented. It wouldn't still be white to me, I think. I don't think it'll be white. [00:13:27] Speaker B: We about to see. Sauerkraut is fermented shredded cabbage. [00:13:32] Speaker A: God damn. [00:13:33] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. [00:13:34] Speaker A: I'm still eating it. [00:13:35] Speaker B: So. So that's all you put on your hot dog. Yeah, so we do. Have you ever had like different region hot dogs, like different places? [00:13:44] Speaker A: Oh yeah, the Chicago dog. [00:13:45] Speaker B: You had a Chicago dog? [00:13:46] Speaker A: Yeah, with the. With the little pickle on it. [00:13:48] Speaker B: The pickle and the little pepper, whatever that is. [00:13:50] Speaker A: I'll go say some of them do tomato or red pepper. The. [00:13:54] Speaker B: The tomato and so it got the pickle, the tomatoes and the pepperoncini or whatever. Pepperoncini or whatever on it. Yeah, I had that. Cause I had to eat it like that. Just, you know, to get the. [00:14:05] Speaker A: That's like a top for me. Like number one. Like a pizza. Like a hot dog is like. [00:14:11] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:14:11] Speaker A: Street food for me. [00:14:12] Speaker B: Like you can't go wrong with a hot dog. [00:14:14] Speaker A: Nah, you can't. [00:14:15] Speaker B: You get a hot dog. My favorite hot dog is. I guess maybe it gotta be like a Carolina style or Southern style. Cause you get the chili, the reddish looking ones or. No, no, no, I'm talking about. [00:14:28] Speaker A: Because it's coleslaw in it. [00:14:29] Speaker B: There you go. I got you coleslaw. The style chili. I got you maybe mustard, ketchup, but it gotta have that coleslaw on there. Coleslaw on a hot dog? Really what got me to eatin coleslaw. [00:14:43] Speaker A: Do you like coleslaw that's really like chopped up. Chopped up. Like almost like a pasty kind of coleslaw. [00:14:49] Speaker B: I don't know what you mean, pasty, like. Like how KFC do theirs? [00:14:53] Speaker A: No, KFC is a little bit whole. It's a little crunch to it. But they got some that's like. [00:15:00] Speaker B: You eat coleslaw? [00:15:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:01] Speaker B: Oh, okay, okay, okay. Where's. I think I know you talking about the. Cause some places you get that coleslaw and they come in that little white. [00:15:10] Speaker A: Cup and it looks like the chili. It looks fine. [00:15:14] Speaker B: Fine. I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I eat it, Paul. I eat it. The only. That. So the only coleslaw I won't eat is North Carolina style coleslaw. So I went to BO because you know, Bojangles got coleslaw. If I go to Bojangles, I get the dirty rice and coleslaw. [00:15:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:15:30] Speaker B: So I went to Bojangles. I stopped in North Carolina. I was on 95 and I was like, yeah, let me get dirty rice and coleslaw. She was like, where you from? I said south Carolina. She was like, we do our coleslaw different up here. I was like, it's coleslaw. They use like just vinegar in this shit. So it's just vinegar and cabbage. [00:15:50] Speaker A: So no mayo. Like. [00:15:51] Speaker B: Nah, it wasn't no mayo in the jones. Oh, word. Yeah. And it just. It was different. [00:15:55] Speaker A: I never knew that. [00:15:56] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't either until I went to that Bojangles. [00:15:58] Speaker A: Well, you know what? It just might be the Bojangles. It might just be the fast food areas. [00:16:04] Speaker B: But now, you know, different regions cook their shit. Like, do shit. Different. [00:16:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause when I was younger, I don't eat mustard. So when I'm, you know, in New York, you get a Happy Meal. The hamburger and all that don't have mustard on it. So every time I would go to, you know, come down south for the holidays and stuff like that and go to McDonald's, I'm always crying because they're mustard. [00:16:22] Speaker B: Oh, they put ketchup and mustard on it. Yeah. [00:16:23] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:24] Speaker B: Mm. [00:16:25] Speaker A: So that's like. That's a difference. Like, New York don't put mustard on your hot. On your hamburgers. Here they do on all the hamburgers. Right, except for Whopper. [00:16:34] Speaker B: Nah. Certain ones like that have a different sauce. They'll have, like, if you get like a. I want to say if you get like, a quarter pounder from McDonald's, it just come with mayo on it. It don't come with ketchup and mustard. Quarter Pounder, I think so. [00:16:48] Speaker A: Nah, a Quarter Pounder don't have mayo. [00:16:49] Speaker B: It don't have mayo. Uh. [00:16:52] Speaker A: A Quarter Pounder is just mustard and frigging onion. The big onions. Not the fine onions. [00:16:58] Speaker B: Yeah, the big onion and ketchup. [00:17:00] Speaker A: Right? Ketchup. Yeah. [00:17:01] Speaker B: Okay. [00:17:02] Speaker A: Yeah. But I think if it's a burger that has a different kind of sauce. Like a Whopper. I mean. Yeah, like a Whopper. A Whopper don't come with it because mayo. [00:17:11] Speaker B: Yeah. That don't come with ketchup or mustard. Yeah, no. Well. Cause it got tomatoes. But I know for a fact, like. Like a Frisco burger. [00:17:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:20] Speaker B: That only come with mayo on it. [00:17:22] Speaker A: Yeah. You're right. [00:17:22] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:17:23] Speaker A: Cause I eat those. [00:17:24] Speaker B: Yeah. So hot dog. [00:17:27] Speaker A: Yeah, Hot dog is mine, man. [00:17:29] Speaker B: Great. Walk around food New York hot dog for me. That's what you. Oh, yeah. You had the third one. Have you ever heard of a walking taco? Oh, yeah. Okay. [00:17:39] Speaker A: Yeah. Friend of mine had a food truck, and I was helping him out, and he let me sell my own, you know, version of walking tacos on there. [00:17:48] Speaker B: Oh. Just put whatever in it. [00:17:49] Speaker A: And I made my own chili. Well, for the people that don't know what a walking taco is, it's usually a bag of chips, burritos, Cut it open sideways. There you go, sideways. [00:18:00] Speaker B: And put the tacos in there. [00:18:01] Speaker A: Shake it up a little bit. Put your chili in there. I did homemade chili, cheese, sour cream. I like sour cream on mines and I like tomatoes on it. [00:18:12] Speaker B: It's a guy now. I don't know, I think he might be in Pennsylvania or something where he got all of this meat and stuff on his truck. And you come with your own bag, no matter how big the bag is. [00:18:21] Speaker A: I seen him. [00:18:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I seen him. He gone viral and people come from all over. [00:18:25] Speaker A: Yep, I seen him. [00:18:26] Speaker B: And he put all this stuff in it or whatever. And then he got. You want the white sauce, you want the green sauce or whatever. Yeah, so yeah. [00:18:31] Speaker A: Yep, yep. Walking taco. That's a good one. Yeah, I wouldn't even thought of that one. Okay. For mines. Shish kebab. A shish kebab. A regular. It don't have to be a fancy one. It could just be a chicken shish kebab with what they call that bread? Not. Nah, the Greek bread is I guess, the same bread as a gyro. Oh, this is. [00:19:03] Speaker B: Oh, they put the bread with the kebabs on the streets. [00:19:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yep. Like they'll. And you could do the white sauce on. On this Bob. Like it's just like kebab wrapped in one layer of bread. More like to hold it, but. [00:19:18] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:19:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I could do a chicken. Chicken kebab. [00:19:21] Speaker B: Okay. That's a good one too, because you. You only. Can you. You only got to really use one hand if you ain't got the bread. You know what I mean? [00:19:30] Speaker A: You know, growing up, I was in, you know, from New York, but Eastern Parkway used to have the Eastern Parkway day parade, the West Indian Day parade. And ever since I was probably like 4 years old to like a teen, my parents would be out there Memorial Day weekend selling shishkabas. [00:19:50] Speaker B: Oh. So it's the deal of your heart. I got another one that I think is good. And this might be a sleeper. All right. A cheesesteak. You ever notice how cheesesteak is really just. But they always wrapped a little tighter, so if you hold it right, you can eat it. Yeah. [00:20:19] Speaker A: Yes. [00:20:22] Speaker B: That's when the last time you had. [00:20:28] Speaker A: Let's see. [00:21:14] Speaker B: Oh. [00:21:45] Speaker A: Okay. You know what? What's that? Yeah, you can walk with that one. [00:22:10] Speaker B: I think it's flooded. We gotta get five more and then we're gonna. We're gonna number. [00:22:30] Speaker A: Okay. I'm gonna go classic regular taco. Just a little two finger taco, three finger taco. [00:22:38] Speaker B: You know, two finger taco. [00:22:40] Speaker A: You hold it like this with two fingers. [00:22:42] Speaker B: Hard shell. You gonna hold a hard shell. [00:22:45] Speaker A: It's soft. [00:22:45] Speaker B: Okay, okay. You talking soft, hardship, you got to. [00:22:47] Speaker A: Go because it's gonna crunch. [00:22:49] Speaker B: You gotta hold a hole. [00:22:50] Speaker A: You almost gotta hold with two hands. [00:22:51] Speaker B: You almost do. [00:22:52] Speaker A: It's gonna split in the middle and. [00:22:53] Speaker B: You gotta hold like you almost do. [00:22:55] Speaker A: Yeah. Or even the new ones, what they call no video. [00:23:00] Speaker B: That ain't news. [00:23:02] Speaker A: I mean, it's popular now. I'm not gonna say. You're right. It's popular. Soft taco, regular, authentic ones, you know, from Mexico. [00:23:12] Speaker B: Do you know they do have street tacos though, which is smaller, which is soft. So. [00:23:16] Speaker A: So those. Let's go with that. [00:23:18] Speaker B: Yeah, street taco. Now that you said that. [00:23:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:23:22] Speaker B: So I'm keeping in the. In the. In the Mexican family then. [00:23:25] Speaker A: Okay. Mexican region. [00:23:27] Speaker B: So I'm gonna go. Burrito is wrapped. [00:23:30] Speaker A: Yeah, if you. [00:23:32] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? You can walk with it and go. You can walk and go. That's what I'm talking. You know what I'm saying? See, man, and they probably come off the same. You are. What? You what? What would you like, sir? Street taco. Okay. And you said what would you like? Burrito. Boom. Right there. We at the same spot. Ooh, we at the same spot. [00:23:48] Speaker A: You know what? I think you cheated, man. [00:23:49] Speaker B: How? [00:23:50] Speaker A: Cause, man, these are all. [00:23:52] Speaker B: Taco walking. Taco is on my list. [00:23:55] Speaker A: And burrito, I know, but burrito, that's a cheat code. That's like. [00:23:59] Speaker B: We talking street food. [00:24:01] Speaker A: That's top notch. [00:24:02] Speaker B: Top notch? What? Street food? [00:24:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:04] Speaker B: What do you mean? Top notch? [00:24:05] Speaker A: As in quality, like number one. That's gonna make the number one list. Like, close that and the cheesesteak, man. [00:24:11] Speaker B: That's not cheating. We talking functionality. That's what I'm talking. Street food. If I'm walking down the street and I see a truck with burrito, I'm gonna think about getting that burrito. [00:24:21] Speaker A: A burrito beats out my hot dog. [00:24:24] Speaker B: Not me. [00:24:24] Speaker A: Hot dog was simple for me, but a burrito beats that out. [00:24:30] Speaker B: We'll get to that. We might have a debate going. What, you got another one? [00:24:34] Speaker A: You definitely gotta wrap a burrito. You can't just gold raw dog with the whole burrito in your hand with no rappings. [00:24:40] Speaker B: What do you mean rappings? [00:24:42] Speaker A: Like, you know, the rap. How they rap it on the. [00:24:44] Speaker B: Oh, and like a styrofoam or whatever. Yeah, yeah, you gotta. [00:24:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:46] Speaker B: Cause it might ooze out the bottom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you gotta be careful with it now. [00:24:49] Speaker A: Yeah. Ah, where we at? [00:24:52] Speaker B: You got another one. Give me one more. [00:24:54] Speaker A: All right. I'm going to pizza. Pizza's my number one. [00:25:00] Speaker B: I mean this is not your number one is just one. [00:25:02] Speaker A: Pizza is like pizza number one for me. [00:25:05] Speaker B: That's number one for you. [00:25:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:07] Speaker B: Okay, that's a good one. Pizza. That would have been on my master list also Pizza the big slice. [00:25:15] Speaker A: Not the Papa John's. [00:25:16] Speaker B: Not the just a slice. New York slice. [00:25:18] Speaker A: A New York slice. [00:25:19] Speaker B: New York slice. Yeah. Boom. [00:25:21] Speaker A: Fold it. [00:25:22] Speaker B: Go. Fold it and go. [00:25:23] Speaker A: Fold and go. [00:25:23] Speaker B: Cause no matter how big the slice is, you fold it one time. Cause you're gonna have the two handed fold. You get the first bite. Boom. You good one hand. [00:25:31] Speaker A: Now see they don't have too many pizzerias here, right? They used to have too see growing up, you know you go to the pizzerias usually on a corner or somewhere, they used to have that cellophane like tissue paper and the pizza and then boom, they throw it on the counter. [00:25:50] Speaker B: To you in the paper plate. [00:25:51] Speaker A: No paper plate. [00:25:52] Speaker B: No paper plate. [00:25:53] Speaker A: It was just boom. Go watch. [00:25:55] Speaker B: Greasy all over the place. [00:25:56] Speaker A: Go watch. Let's see. Do the right thing. [00:26:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. In the pizzeria. [00:26:01] Speaker A: Boom. He threw it on the table. That's how it is. [00:26:05] Speaker B: The only. I don't know if there's a place around here. There used to be a place in the mall you can get a slice. [00:26:10] Speaker A: That one, the other one over here. [00:26:17] Speaker B: Jersey Boys, I don't remember them. [00:26:20] Speaker A: Over there by Suit World. Yep, yep. [00:26:25] Speaker B: I don't remember that. Yeah, that was some years ago. [00:26:29] Speaker A: Yeah, that was close to. [00:26:30] Speaker B: They say Rebel got some good pizza but you can't get a slice though. I don't think you can get a slice there. [00:26:35] Speaker A: Those are personal pans, right? Like round at Rebel. Pisa. [00:26:40] Speaker B: I never been there. Yeah, they ride up the street from here. [00:26:44] Speaker A: I know exactly. [00:26:44] Speaker B: Yeah, my number 10. This might be cheating a little bit, but it's easy depending on where you are and depending on, you know how you get em fries. Ah you get a couple fries, you get em in the little, you know, tub thing. [00:27:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:05] Speaker B: And you can get em with toppings or whatever. Eat em and walk. You gotta sit down. [00:27:09] Speaker A: Do you like fries with the skin on them still? [00:27:12] Speaker B: I'm a potato man. [00:27:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:14] Speaker B: I'm eating a potato bake. Fried potato. [00:27:18] Speaker A: Favorite topping? [00:27:19] Speaker B: Favorite topping on potatoes. [00:27:20] Speaker A: Yep. Besides cheese. [00:27:25] Speaker B: Cheese and what else do the dressing count? [00:27:28] Speaker A: What that creamy? [00:27:29] Speaker B: No, like ranch or whatever or blue cheese or something? [00:27:32] Speaker A: Nah, that don't count. [00:27:32] Speaker B: That don't count. [00:27:33] Speaker A: Nope. I let you do this. Chicken or beef? [00:27:39] Speaker B: It depends on where I'm at, where I am. [00:27:42] Speaker A: Which one's more messier? [00:27:44] Speaker B: Nah, just like Zaxby's has bacon ranch fries, which were pretty good when they came out. Okay. Depending on if the place really does good. Like, my homeboy, he used to have a restaurant, and I used to go there, and I'd be like, man, make me some chili cheese fries. [00:27:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:28:00] Speaker B: Cause they had real good chili. So I like, man, y' all make some chili cheese fries. Man, put some cheese on there. Whatever. Whatever. He charged me, whatever. So it just depends on. You know what I'm saying? I done had like. Like, I went to this one place here, and I wanted steak and cheese. They had on the menu steak and cheese fries. But the steak was good. You know, regular steak and type stuff. They put in a cheesesteak. But the cheese they used was, like, squeezed out of a bottle, and I didn't like that. I wanted it to be, like, real cheese. [00:28:28] Speaker A: The gooey kind of cheese or. [00:28:30] Speaker B: No, it was like cheese. No, it was cheese out of bottle. Like, they squeezed it out of a bottle. Like it was a sauce, and I didn't like that. So it just depends on where I am. You know what I'm saying? [00:28:39] Speaker A: But fork or no fork. [00:28:42] Speaker B: Plastic fork. [00:28:43] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:44] Speaker B: Gotta have a fork if I got all that stuff in. [00:28:46] Speaker A: Yeah, if you got the chili in there. [00:28:47] Speaker B: Yeah, I gotta have a fork. Gotta have a fork with that. [00:28:48] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a good one. That's a good one. [00:28:50] Speaker B: So let's go number 10. I feel like you gonna say fries is number 10. [00:28:55] Speaker A: Of course. [00:28:56] Speaker B: Okay. [00:28:57] Speaker A: Out of the list of what we just said that fries almost. Before you put the toppings on it, it was almost a cop out. [00:29:05] Speaker B: But it. But you. [00:29:06] Speaker A: It was like you ran out of. [00:29:07] Speaker B: Shit to say, but fries is on my master list. Fries is on my master list. [00:29:12] Speaker A: Okay. [00:29:14] Speaker B: How about number nine? I wanna say Euro. Number nine. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll go with you. I agree with you on that. [00:29:20] Speaker B: Okay, we got Euro number nine. All right. Number eight. What do you think? Number eight? [00:29:25] Speaker A: Number eight. [00:29:26] Speaker B: What? So we got. What we got left is beef patty. [00:29:30] Speaker A: Let's put the hot dog on there. [00:29:31] Speaker B: No hot dog on top. [00:29:33] Speaker A: You think? [00:29:33] Speaker B: So I got an argument for hot dog to be number one. [00:29:38] Speaker A: I know. You know why? [00:29:40] Speaker B: Why? [00:29:40] Speaker A: It was number one until you put freaking cheesesteaks on the list. [00:29:45] Speaker B: It still don't beat cheese. I mean, cheesesteaks still won't be number one, though. [00:29:48] Speaker A: That cheesesteak is top dog, man. [00:29:50] Speaker B: No, cheesesteak is not top dog. [00:29:52] Speaker A: Street food burrito, that's top dog, too. [00:29:57] Speaker B: What are you talking. I'm saying. What I'm saying is top dog is like, if these things are in a line at street food, hot dog gonna sell the most. [00:30:08] Speaker A: That ain't. Let's go with this. If these on the table, which one you gonna go for first? [00:30:15] Speaker B: We not talking table. This is street food. So I'm walking down the street, which one you gonna get? [00:30:20] Speaker A: Hot dog's gonna be your last bet. [00:30:23] Speaker B: Hot dog is a classic. It's the easiest one out of all of them. And I mean, everybody. Hot dog is almost like pizza. Like, I feel like you can't really do a bad pizza. [00:30:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:30:35] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:30:36] Speaker A: I go with you on that. [00:30:37] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? Like, you say on your hot dog, you like to get sauerkraut. If it's a place that got sauerkraut and it's good sauerkraut. [00:30:44] Speaker A: Sam's. [00:30:45] Speaker B: The Sam's and Sam's Club. Yeah, the. The hot dog quality. It's a bigger range of hot dog quality. I got you. If the sauerkraut good, like, you'll get the pink hot dog. If you got good sauerkraut and bread. [00:31:01] Speaker A: You might do that. [00:31:01] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:31:02] Speaker A: You might do that. What else was on it? Let's see. [00:31:05] Speaker B: So we got. So what we got left is taco, maybe beef patty. Hot dog is. We save a hot dog. We saving cheesesteak. [00:31:16] Speaker A: And burrito. [00:31:17] Speaker B: And burrito, since you say it. And pizza. We gotta say pizza. Them gonna be the tops. [00:31:23] Speaker A: That's top four right there. [00:31:24] Speaker B: So we got beef patty. We got walking taco. We got kebab, regular taco, and fries. Oh, no, Fries is already gone. Fries is gone. [00:31:33] Speaker A: All right, so it's fries. Right now it's fries. [00:31:35] Speaker B: So we got fries. Gyro at nine. So we looking for number eight, taco. Regular taco. [00:31:41] Speaker A: Yeah, regular taco. [00:31:42] Speaker B: Okay, Regular taco can go at 8. [00:31:43] Speaker A: Yep. [00:31:44] Speaker B: 7. I'm gonna make a veto. We gotta put kebab on here. Oh, at seven. Do you. Do you think that need to go higher? [00:31:51] Speaker A: Really? I didn't think kebab would even make a list. [00:31:53] Speaker B: But no, I mean, we only got 10. So I got you out of the 10. We. [00:31:56] Speaker A: Yeah, put it there. It need to go down lower. [00:31:58] Speaker B: You think it need to go. [00:31:59] Speaker A: It need to go like number nine. So it need to go fries. Kebab. [00:32:08] Speaker B: Fries, kebab, gyro, taco. [00:32:13] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:32:15] Speaker B: Okay. Fries, kebab, gyro, top. [00:32:16] Speaker A: We done the list up, but. [00:32:17] Speaker B: Nah, we did, we did. We working through it. What do you think will go after kebab after taco? [00:32:28] Speaker A: We already did beef patty. [00:32:30] Speaker B: Nah, we can put beef patty. [00:32:32] Speaker A: Let's drop the beef patty there. Yeah, okay. [00:32:33] Speaker B: Cause beef patty really ain't. [00:32:35] Speaker A: Everybody ain't in tune to it. [00:32:37] Speaker B: I don't know. Nah, everybody ain't in tune to it. And you not really gonna find too many beef patty food trucks or carts, I don't think. [00:32:45] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:32:46] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:32:46] Speaker A: And you know what? That's why I didn't say one of the ones I got on here doubles. [00:32:50] Speaker B: What's double? [00:32:51] Speaker A: A double is from Trinidad. They do it with curry and like a chickpea. It's like a beef patty. It looks just like a beef patty, but it's folded up kind of sandwich. But you could do chicken doubles. You catch these at, like, Jamaican restaurants and stuff like that. That's on my list, but it ain't. [00:33:13] Speaker B: Really popular enough to get in the top 10. Yeah, I feel you. You know what else could have been like, kind of like how they do at the habibi. You ever seen the videos of my man at the bodega? [00:33:25] Speaker A: Sure, yeah. [00:33:27] Speaker B: Kind of like how he do his. But he do them as beef patties, though, right? [00:33:30] Speaker A: No, he do beef patties. [00:33:31] Speaker B: He do patties too. [00:33:31] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I'll show you a picture of a double. [00:33:34] Speaker B: First you get the peppers, then you get the onions. [00:33:38] Speaker A: Really? It's the Aki way. Doubles is. It's like. It's almost like the beef patty dough. [00:33:45] Speaker B: Like, it's more like kind of like split open. [00:33:48] Speaker A: Split open with the meat, peas and curry. [00:33:51] Speaker B: Curry in the middle? [00:33:52] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:52] Speaker B: On the outside, it's like a sandwich almost. Ah, okay. Okay. So we got. We going. We want top five now. So what we got left is hot dog walking taco, cheesesteak, burrito, and pizza. [00:34:10] Speaker A: Yeah, like I said, hot dog's gonna go on the bottom of that. [00:34:14] Speaker B: So hot dog gotta be top one or two. [00:34:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:16] Speaker B: Cause it's gonna be an argument for hot dog and whatever else you think. [00:34:19] Speaker A: Nah, hot dog has gotta be where we at. Top five. [00:34:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:22] Speaker A: Number five is hot dog. [00:34:23] Speaker B: No, hot dog. Number one to me. [00:34:25] Speaker A: It can be. Well, to me, I like the damn burrito and cheesesteak. [00:34:29] Speaker B: Not what you like, but you gotta. So in my mind, this is how I did it. [00:34:34] Speaker A: Go ahead. [00:34:35] Speaker B: I didn't do it as what I liked. I did it the most. [00:34:39] Speaker A: I did it as the most popular. [00:34:41] Speaker B: Most popular. Uh huh. What I like the most, walk aroundable. And what I see more of. [00:34:49] Speaker A: Okay, this brother put rules on the bitch now. Okay, go ahead. Who you think is fifth? Hot dog number one, then burrito. [00:35:00] Speaker B: I put burrito before. I like burritos. But as far as like you don't see a lot of. Let's do cheesesteak at five. [00:35:06] Speaker A: Five. Okay, four burrito. I mean four cheese. [00:35:10] Speaker B: Five cheesesteak. Yeah, a four burrito. [00:35:13] Speaker A: Five cheesesteak for a burrito. [00:35:14] Speaker B: All right, that's fair. [00:35:19] Speaker A: Ah, man. Where we at now? [00:35:23] Speaker B: I think walking Taco. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think walking Taco snuck his way into the top three. I don't know how, but it snuck his way in there. [00:35:32] Speaker A: Really Needs to be down there. Number eight. [00:35:35] Speaker B: Over taco, of course. Like so Taco need to be seven. [00:35:39] Speaker A: A walking taco is really just chips, people. It should be down there with fries. [00:35:46] Speaker B: I don't see. Put the top in the top. Cause check this out. Walking Taco ain't been around long enough to get in the top five. [00:35:52] Speaker A: Yeah, man. [00:35:53] Speaker B: Walking taco ain't been around long enough to get in the top five. [00:35:56] Speaker A: Man, we fucked up. [00:35:56] Speaker B: They snuck around. Walking taco just snuck around in the background and got in the top five. [00:36:01] Speaker A: It really is. Somebody cleaned out the refrigerator. Had chip. [00:36:04] Speaker B: Had shit left over. This is some jail shit. [00:36:06] Speaker A: There you go. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Like what they call it a setup. You know what a setup is? That's some shit they do in jail where they take like Fritos or something like that and put all that shit in and smush it up. [00:36:16] Speaker A: A spread. You mean a spread? [00:36:17] Speaker B: Yeah, they call it setup and a spread. [00:36:19] Speaker A: I know what you mean. Yeah. [00:36:20] Speaker B: So we can move walking Taco to. [00:36:22] Speaker A: All the way down to number eight. [00:36:24] Speaker B: Number eight. So that'll push everything else down. [00:36:26] Speaker A: Yeah, push everything else up. [00:36:28] Speaker B: Yeah. Up. Yeah, yeah. All right, so top two, pizza or hot dog? [00:36:36] Speaker A: Pizza. [00:36:36] Speaker B: Pizza number one. [00:36:37] Speaker A: Number one. [00:36:38] Speaker B: You got pizza number one. [00:36:40] Speaker A: See, now it falls under which one we like the most. [00:36:44] Speaker B: Not really. I like em equally. [00:36:45] Speaker A: Okay, so. Okay, yeah, think about this. [00:36:48] Speaker B: You walking down Fifth Avenue. You on 125th. [00:36:52] Speaker A: No, don't say that. You walking in a food truck. Fair. There's only two things in that food truck thing. Hot dog and pizza. Which one you going to? Good pizza and good hot dog. Not bullshit pizza and good hot dog. [00:37:07] Speaker B: But here's the thing. The line between the line is gonna Be crazy. No, no, no, no. What I'm saying is the line between bullshit pizza and good pizza, it's a thin line. It's a thin line like it ain't really that much. Like one thing could throw off the pizza. Like if the bread ain't right. [00:37:27] Speaker A: All right, let me do this. [00:37:28] Speaker B: The cheese you got cheap cheese. [00:37:30] Speaker A: Let me do this. Just because I painted the picture like that, I can't see good pizza coming off a truck. So let's do this off a food truck. [00:37:41] Speaker B: You talking about a pizza? You gotta go to a pizzeria to get it. [00:37:44] Speaker A: Yeah, let's do a pizzeria one door. And the next door is a hot dog place. Pizza. [00:37:51] Speaker B: I would get the hot dog. The hot dog ain't even got to be in a place. It could be on the street. [00:37:58] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:37:58] Speaker B: And if it's a beef hot dog. [00:38:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:01] Speaker B: But the be posted up down the street on Irby in a grass. I don't think he even pay to put his cart there. [00:38:09] Speaker A: He don't. [00:38:10] Speaker B: And pull up there for the hot dogs. [00:38:14] Speaker A: But if you're going by popularity, hot dog might win because hot dog possibly might have been around longer than. [00:38:23] Speaker B: But here's the thing. If. If they side by side, like you say on the street in restaurants, you go to the pizzeria, I go to the pizza place. Because I don't want no corporate hot dog. [00:38:31] Speaker A: Number one. [00:38:32] Speaker B: We talking about street food, though. Okay. They could be on the same street. [00:38:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:41] Speaker B: In order to get the slice, like you was talking about back in the day, it gotta be. You gotta walk into the place for the pizza. [00:38:49] Speaker A: Of course. Yeah. [00:38:52] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:52] Speaker A: You do for it to be good either. Yeah. [00:38:56] Speaker B: Because I don't see them having a good piece on us on a food truck or nothing like that. [00:38:59] Speaker A: I can't say this, but you know what messes it up more? At one time, both of them cost the same amount. [00:39:06] Speaker B: A dollar. [00:39:07] Speaker A: A dollar. [00:39:08] Speaker B: Damn. [00:39:09] Speaker A: So you had. Have you broke. [00:39:11] Speaker B: How good was the dollar slice? [00:39:13] Speaker A: Oh, as good as it is as it is now. It's the same slave. [00:39:20] Speaker B: And I'm not getting. We gotta go one day. I probably would get a slice of. [00:41:11] Speaker A: Corner stores, Six Flags. [00:41:51] Speaker B: They affiliated with the genos in Philly. [00:41:57] Speaker A: And when I say it's like I can't show the camera. I mean, I can't show the list how big it is, but yeah, you can. [00:42:08] Speaker B: They want to see how big. [00:42:09] Speaker A: That big and full. They got salmon ones. They got. [00:42:14] Speaker B: They like Big Dave, like big day. Do this. [00:42:17] Speaker A: Exactly. But Big D from Philly, I Know, I know. But he chops his meat up a. [00:42:26] Speaker B: Little bit too much. [00:42:27] Speaker A: You noticed that, right? [00:42:29] Speaker B: I never had his. [00:42:29] Speaker A: I just saw it, though. [00:42:31] Speaker B: I see it. But, yeah, I got to get one. I'll probably get a roll before I get a. Before I get a cheese steak from him. [00:42:38] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:42:38] Speaker B: But the best one I ever had, and I don't think this would be considered a cheese steak, more a steak and cheese. [00:42:43] Speaker A: Okay. [00:42:44] Speaker B: It was a. When I used to work on the railroad going to Brunswick, Maryland, it was a place called the Brunswick Deli, right down the street from the hotel we used to stay at. So they had like a lot of cold cuts and sandwiches and salads and stuff. And if you get the cheese steak, it would be like $9. They would take ribeye. Cut up the ribeye. [00:43:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:43:03] Speaker B: In the chunks and make it, you know, saying, have you want. Best cheesesteak sandwich I ever had in my life. [00:43:10] Speaker A: Did they put a gravy on it? [00:43:12] Speaker B: Nah. Nah. [00:43:12] Speaker A: Okay. [00:43:13] Speaker B: Now they. They had. They call Brunswick stew. Some people would get that on there. It would be like, I don't know, chopped up peppers and all kind of stuff. [00:43:22] Speaker A: Broth kind of. [00:43:23] Speaker B: Nah, it wasn't really a broth because you. [00:43:25] Speaker A: They. [00:43:26] Speaker B: You could buy it in a jar. [00:43:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:43:27] Speaker B: But they called it Brunswick stew or something. They call it Brunswick stew or something like that. But people put that. I wasn't grown enough for that. I was in my early twenties. But that cheesesteak. And you can get whatever cheese on it because, like, I ain't really a fan of the nacho cheese, whatever they put on it in Philly. Cheese whiz. Yeah, cheese whiz. I want real cheese, like provolone. [00:43:46] Speaker A: Okay. [00:43:47] Speaker B: That's what I get on mine. But you can put whatever cheese on the cheddar. [00:43:50] Speaker A: That's a big debate. [00:43:51] Speaker B: Like, oh, cheese whiz. [00:43:53] Speaker A: You rather cheese whiz, or you rather regular cheese? Real cheese. [00:43:56] Speaker B: Yeah. Ain't no cheese whiz, nigga.
