[00:01:06] Speaker B: Chilling, man. How you been?
[00:01:07] Speaker A: Hey, you know, we here.
How was your week?
[00:01:10] Speaker B: I was trying. Let's say trying.
[00:01:15] Speaker A: Okay, now. You want to get into that now?
[00:01:17] Speaker B: Nah, it was cool, though. I mean, the week was cool. Finally be able to sit down and have a little break.
[00:01:24] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:01:25] Speaker B: You know.
[00:01:26] Speaker A: Well, you will be this. This upcoming week.
[00:01:28] Speaker B: Yeah, this upcoming week. So right before, you know, breaks is usually a lot of tension, a lot of going on.
[00:01:36] Speaker A: Oh, and that's what happened to you.
[00:01:38] Speaker B: Past two weeks went crazy.
[00:01:40] Speaker A: You want to jump into that now?
[00:01:41] Speaker B: I don't want to get into that at all. I'm not even gonna be able to talk about that stuff.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: Oh. Cause it's.
I got you.
I got you.
[00:01:51] Speaker B: But, you know, just another day, another dollar, as you say.
[00:01:55] Speaker A: Yeah, what. What all did you get into this week?
[00:02:00] Speaker B: I didn't. I didn't do too much.
We went bike riding.
The boy Be easy came on out, man.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: Yeah. Pause. No, I didn't. I just. I went to the bike riding trails. Didn't come out of anything.
[00:02:14] Speaker B: Yeah, you're right.
[00:02:15] Speaker A: Nah. But yeah, we did. He's like, yo, I'm. You're gonna be off. Tuesday was good.
[00:02:20] Speaker B: It's gonna be nice.
[00:02:21] Speaker A: I was like, nigga, who don't. I ain't, you know, I ain't really rode a bike in like, other than the time I tested your other bike, but I ain't rode a bike in like 20 something years.
[00:02:33] Speaker B: You were shaky on the other one.
[00:02:35] Speaker A: Nah. Cause it was.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: It's the layout of it.
[00:02:37] Speaker A: It really wasn't the layout. It was. I hadn't. Well, no. Cause I rid motorcycles. But a bicycle was kind of. But you like leaning all the way over and. You know what I'm saying? I'm used to handlebars up here. Whatever. So it was kind of, you know what I'm saying, a trying, but you know what I'm saying? I got it. But then it'll take some time to get like. Cause I used to, you know what I'm saying? Back in the day, we used to be jumping hills and sliding Sideways and popping wheelies and doing endos and all of that, Man, I would.
[00:03:06] Speaker B: You think you could do it again? What, like, get back into that kind of mode?
[00:03:11] Speaker A: It depend on my quads.
Let me tell you something. Riding a bike, you think it's your knee, but it's not your knee. It's right above your knee that start aching. That's really. Cause you ain't been doing the squat. See, I go to the gym, but I just be arm day all day.
[00:03:26] Speaker B: How was you the next day?
[00:03:27] Speaker A: I was cool.
[00:03:28] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:03:29] Speaker A: Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
[00:03:29] Speaker B: I do run.
[00:03:30] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? I am a little athlete out there.
[00:03:32] Speaker B: In these streets, but we didn't get too crazy.
[00:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we did. Did a few. About five miles riding.
[00:03:37] Speaker B: Yeah, it was a little straight away. And then we went to the little part of the trail.
[00:03:42] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:03:42] Speaker B: So we didn't get into the trail trails.
[00:03:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Give me. Give me pavement. Yeah, give me pavement.
[00:03:47] Speaker B: You don't like the trails.
[00:03:47] Speaker A: I ain't a trd off road. Tacoma Tundra, I'm a Camry.
[00:03:52] Speaker B: It's like, say a workout is about five miles.
[00:03:57] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:03:57] Speaker B: No, say a workout is two miles.
When you go on the trails, two miles is like five miles, like eight miles. Yeah. Cause it's like a whole lot of.
[00:04:06] Speaker A: You know, you got extra bouncing, you gotta do extra pedaling and all of that.
[00:04:11] Speaker B: Your core gotta be good.
[00:04:12] Speaker A: Yep, yep. I got a core.
[00:04:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I got a core. It's there.
[00:04:19] Speaker B: Is it strong?
[00:04:20] Speaker A: It's yellow.
It ain't. It ain't green.
[00:04:24] Speaker B: It ain't green.
[00:04:25] Speaker A: It ain't red either.
[00:04:26] Speaker B: It's orange.
[00:04:26] Speaker A: Yeah, but it. Yeah, now, orange. You in the. You, you. You threw. You almost through. You know, I'm in the yellow. I'm in. I'm in the yellow.
[00:04:34] Speaker B: Yeah, but it was. It was good riding.
[00:04:36] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out to the extra bike.
[00:04:38] Speaker B: Yeah, man. That's why I got that thing.
[00:04:40] Speaker A: You and cl, Y' all do something that I need to do more often, and that's. Check out that marketplace.
[00:04:47] Speaker B: Oh, stay on it.
[00:04:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause the steals of the deals be on there. You know what I'm saying? But I don't I be kind of nervous. Matter of fact, I got a table off marketplace. Like the table that's in my house now. I got that off marketplace and my refrigerator.
[00:04:59] Speaker B: You can catch deals off marketplace. What I got recently, I got that bike. I got something.
[00:05:05] Speaker A: Ain't no camera or nothing over there. A lens.
[00:05:09] Speaker B: Yeah, but you know, you don't Pay a little bit.
[00:05:11] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'm saying it's cheaper than.
[00:05:13] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a little bit cheaper.
[00:05:15] Speaker A: We have gotten like Rodecaster pros off of there for like, people that started their show, started a podcast or wanted to do a podcast about all the equipment. I got one too and didn't.
So you know what I'm saying? We got them for the low. We got a couple of them like that.
[00:05:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I got one dirt cheap last year right in Myrtle Beach. Oh, I got fire. Firewood.
You got firewood off of Facebook market? Yeah.
[00:05:39] Speaker A: Shout out to Marketplace.
[00:05:40] Speaker B: Everything, anything you can think of, just type it in.
[00:05:43] Speaker A: You have to be kind of careful though.
[00:05:44] Speaker B: Cause not me. I don't care.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: No, I mean as far as like people in general. Cause like stuff like ebay and Marketplace and stuff, people started getting like scammed and robbed and stuff. It was one video I saw where a guy, I guess he was selling a cell phone and I guess he might have been recording. He was selling an older cell phone, like maybe an iPhone 14 or something.
And the guy pulled up, he's like, yeah, it's unlocked. Good to go. Dude just pull off in his car.
[00:06:11] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: Yeah. So he got his license plate. I think they might have found the guy. I think the police. Police found a guy, whatever. But the guy found. The guy's like other social media.
[00:06:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:20] Speaker A: So he found like his tick tock or whatever. And the guy had, you know, was like, I got a phone for sale. Then later on you see another TikTok story where he sold a phone and he counting the money.
[00:06:31] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:06:32] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So.
But yeah, you have to be careful. Like now it got so bad to where they. I mean, he's been doing it for years, but they have put like meeting places.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:42] Speaker A: Like you can like the police set up the meeting place. Like if you buying something off ebay or marketplace, whatever. Meet here.
[00:06:49] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:06:49] Speaker A: Yeah. Don't go in the parking lot by yourself. Like, meet it here, like near the police station. It's lit up. Whatever, Whatever. Like.
[00:06:55] Speaker B: Yeah, somebody tried to get me one time.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: Really?
[00:06:57] Speaker B: Yeah.
I was going to buy a cell phone and when I pulled up to the house, the, you know, the blinds were all broke, the grass was, you know, growed up and stuff like that.
So I'm still going for it. You know me, I'm ready to, you know, whatever's gonna happen.
[00:07:14] Speaker A: You got them things on you.
[00:07:15] Speaker B: Whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen. So that's what, that's why it didn't go down. I Think, because I pulled into the. Into the driveway, like, in front of the house, and I didn't want to get ambushed, so I got out of the car.
So when I got. When I was getting out of the car, there was a guy walking towards me. He was like, hey, man, you got this. And you the one for the phone. I'm like, yeah, well, when I was closing the door, my damn gun was showing.
[00:07:39] Speaker A: Ah.
[00:07:40] Speaker B: So he was like.
He was like, oh, what's that, a.40? Oh, what's that?
You know? So he.
I'm like. I'm like, nah, it ain't nothing. And, you know, I was like, you got the phone?
[00:07:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:07:54] Speaker B: Hold on for a minute.
[00:07:54] Speaker A: Went in the house.
[00:07:55] Speaker B: Let me. Let me walk down. Let me walk down to the store. He's over here.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: You left. You dipped.
[00:08:00] Speaker B: He was going to.
[00:08:02] Speaker A: Oh, he never came back.
[00:08:03] Speaker B: Nah, he never came back. Oh, he was gone.
[00:08:06] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:08:06] Speaker B: He went down to that store, made a little left.
[00:08:08] Speaker A: Gone in the car or just walked.
[00:08:10] Speaker B: Oh, he walked down there.
[00:08:11] Speaker A: Oh, I'd have ran him down.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: Nah, I watched him.
[00:08:14] Speaker A: Nah, I wouldn't have ran him down. I'd have left scared.
[00:08:16] Speaker B: I gave him the distance, and, you know, then I. You know. Cause I stood outside the car. I didn't want to get trapped inside the car. You don't want to get ambushed where you can't, you know, maneuver around.
[00:08:27] Speaker A: So it ain't safer in the car.
[00:08:28] Speaker B: Nah, hell no.
No. You pull up, say, they're just gonna shoot.
[00:08:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:35] Speaker B: You stuck in there. You in the can, but it ain't. No, you can't. You can't duck for cover behind one end of the car. You can't do none of that.
[00:08:43] Speaker A: Oh, so you mean you could, like, run around the car?
[00:08:44] Speaker B: Yeah, you can run around the car. You can run off, you know, whatever.
[00:08:47] Speaker A: But you gonna leave your car.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Yeah. If it's going down like that.
[00:08:51] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:08:52] Speaker B: I was just thinking.
[00:08:53] Speaker A: Oh, no, I'm asking. I thought this was training. Like, that was just your thinking.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: Oh, not.
[00:08:57] Speaker A: Yeah, this ain't training.
[00:08:58] Speaker B: That's training in my head. Yeah.
[00:09:00] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:09:00] Speaker B: Yeah. You don't want to get trapped in the car. I ain't getting Biggie. You ain't gonna have bullet holes in my door and all that.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: I heard. I heard him say that it's real, real hard to get shot in the car like that unless it's coming through the window. But, like, nah.
[00:09:15] Speaker B: Cause close range, you know, cars are thin.
You know, multiple shots, one of them is gonna go through the door. That's how big? He got killed. He didn't get killed from the bullets coming through the window. You got killed by the ones inside the door. Yeah, the door is thin. So you. The closer you are, you know, the more strength is on the bullet. So. Yeah, yeah, I didn't want that to happen.
[00:09:39] Speaker A: So.
[00:09:39] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. No.
[00:09:40] Speaker A: How many did you have with you at the time?
[00:09:44] Speaker B: How many guns? Yeah, I just had one, but I had a real big one and I shouldn't have carried out.
[00:09:49] Speaker A: We don't believe you. You need more people.
[00:09:52] Speaker B: Yeah, it was just one. It was, it was. It's a big one.
Oh, like real big.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: You had to. You had to. You had to put. You had to pull that out. Like.
[00:10:01] Speaker B: No, it's short.
[00:10:02] Speaker A: Like Freaky Zeke.
[00:10:03] Speaker B: No, it's not. It's short, but it's a. I pull out the hammer. It's a big caliber. It's a.454.
[00:10:09] Speaker A: I'm like. This came up from behind the truck.
[00:10:12] Speaker B: I don't know why I had that gun.
[00:10:14] Speaker A: I pull out the hammer. I'm like. He asked about the phone. I'm like. He's. I'm dead.
[00:10:18] Speaker B: You got to do that.
And I. And I grabbed him, I put him.
[00:10:22] Speaker A: In the full nelson and I had him in the. And I'm aiming this.
I got the. In the full nelson. Why do I sound like gangsterlicious?
[00:10:33] Speaker B: Yeah, but I. I guess shout out for the big gun I had that day.
[00:10:39] Speaker A: Yeah, shout out. Shout out to the. That's a 40B.
[00:10:42] Speaker B: Now, it was a 454. They use it for elephant hunting. Yeah, they use it for. Oh, you say no for real big game? Yeah, it's a big gang gun. It's called a 454 Casull Alaskan. They use it in Alaska. It's a 2 inch barrel, probably about that big.
[00:10:59] Speaker A: You know that they, you know.
[00:11:00] Speaker B: Put your finger down the barrel.
[00:11:02] Speaker A: Hey, yo, you know they call. That's the Nigga Killer. That's what they call it.
They call that the Nigga Killer.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: There's a couple of them too.
[00:11:10] Speaker A: Hey, Susan, get the Nigga Killer.
Get the drain going. Drained.
[00:11:16] Speaker B: What you been up to though, man?
[00:11:17] Speaker A: Just working, riding bikes. You know what I'm saying?
[00:11:19] Speaker B: Yeah. See, put that in you. Let's do it again Tuesday. What we doing?
[00:11:23] Speaker A: It depends. No, I got. I gotta get some sales. I might have to go to work Tuesday.
[00:11:26] Speaker B: What do you mean? What the weather gonna be like?
[00:11:28] Speaker A: You got caught up?
[00:11:29] Speaker B: Set.
[00:11:29] Speaker A: You got, you need. You need a car?
[00:11:31] Speaker B: Nah. Okay, I need to get rid of.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: One what do you mean?
[00:11:35] Speaker B: I need. I need to get rid of my car.
[00:11:37] Speaker A: What car?
[00:11:38] Speaker B: My truck.
[00:11:40] Speaker A: Come sell it.
[00:11:40] Speaker B: Nah, I ain't trying to sell it to get more payments on it.
[00:11:43] Speaker A: No, I'm saying sell it. Nah.
[00:11:45] Speaker B: Then what I'm gonna have.
[00:11:47] Speaker A: Huh?
[00:11:47] Speaker B: Then what I'm gonna have?
That car been doing me good.
[00:11:50] Speaker A: Oh. Oh, you just want another vehicle?
[00:11:52] Speaker B: Yeah, I kind of do. But no more payments.
[00:11:56] Speaker A: All right? That's what they all say. Let me take you on a test drive.
[00:11:59] Speaker B: Yeah. Try this.
[00:12:00] Speaker A: I love it. I can't.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: I really don't need it, so I'm gonna.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: You want me to sign here?
[00:12:05] Speaker B: I'm gonna tell you something crazy since we're talking about my truck.
Last night I went to a restaurant, had pizza.
[00:12:13] Speaker A: Okay. Was it packed?
[00:12:15] Speaker B: No, it was.
[00:12:16] Speaker A: I see you got your red on to commemorate the. The weekend. Okay.
[00:12:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess so. Yeah, you're right.
[00:12:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:23] Speaker B: So there's a young. Two young kids sitting next to me. I figured they. I figured they're young.
[00:12:29] Speaker A: They was on a date. Nah, just two home. Okay.
[00:12:33] Speaker B: Two homeboys. Well, I kind of getting a vibe from the homeboys. I don't like them already.
[00:12:40] Speaker A: I know the vibe you get.
[00:12:41] Speaker B: You know, certain times you just look at people and they just kind of like.
I guess, you know, spiritual people would know what that means, I guess. Right?
You know? No.
[00:12:53] Speaker A: Well, you just got a bad. Bad.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: I got a bad vibe from them.
[00:12:56] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:12:57] Speaker B: So we sat down.
They kind of loud. Kind of not loud, but louder than what they should be to be sitting next to me.
[00:13:05] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:13:07] Speaker B: So a truck pulls up in the window. Cause the parking's in the window.
And the kid's like, oh, man, that's a real man's truck right there. Psych.
So it was.
[00:13:22] Speaker A: What kind of truck was it?
[00:13:22] Speaker B: It was the same truck as mine.
[00:13:26] Speaker A: You smell some kind of way?
[00:13:27] Speaker B: Yeah, the same truck as mine. And I was gonna say something, but the fact that, you know, any other time I'd have cracked a joke and be like, hey, I got the same.
[00:13:34] Speaker A: Truck with these white guys.
[00:13:35] Speaker B: Yes. You know, they only think teenagers too.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: They only think Chevy's affords are real trucks.
[00:13:42] Speaker B: Oh, you should have seen his.
[00:13:43] Speaker A: What? He had something jacked up.
[00:13:45] Speaker B: It was squatted. Yeah. Some bullshit.
[00:13:49] Speaker A: One of them.
[00:13:49] Speaker B: Some bullshit.
They had to be like teenagers.
[00:13:53] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:13:54] Speaker B: Or, you know, just out of high school.
[00:13:57] Speaker A: I mean, you get that same kind of thing with older people too.
[00:14:01] Speaker B: That's what it is.
[00:14:02] Speaker A: Yeah. It's just.
Yeah. So that's a Japanese vehicle you got too.
[00:14:07] Speaker B: They didn't see mine, I don't think.
[00:14:08] Speaker A: But I'm just saying your vehicle is Japanese, so. Yeah, it's not, it's not American.
[00:14:12] Speaker B: They don't want American. They want American made. Yeah.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: Even though that truck you got, it was made in Mexico.
Yeah. So that made you feel some kind of way about the. We use at CC's P N. I was in Hartsville.
Oh, I know the spot. I heard they got some good stuff there.
[00:14:26] Speaker B: Yeah. So I'm, you know, I kind of like, oh, okay. Any other, you know, if it was somebody that I could kind of got a good vibe off, I would have cracked a joke like, hey, man, I got the same truck, you know, went about my business, you know, I'm not scared to talk to people.
[00:14:40] Speaker A: You, you, you really can't gauge teenagers, though. They, they, they be all over the place with that, you know, energy wise or whatever. Yeah, vibes wise, however you feel it. So, you know what I'm saying? You can't really gauge them. They, they might be clowning, but they still love you and like you and all kind of stuff.
[00:14:55] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess so.
[00:14:56] Speaker A: Or they might have been. They might have said something like that to try to impress you or something.
Cuz they do stuff like that too. That when it's some. Somebody older and they think the older person is cooler or something, they'll say, we didn't talk. No, I'm saying just in the, in the vicinity. They'll say stuff to kind of get your approval.
[00:15:13] Speaker B: Could be. You know, I work around teenagers, so I see what you're saying. Yeah, so.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: Look at his shoes.
[00:15:18] Speaker B: He's got the later on.
[00:15:20] Speaker A: Hey, mister.
[00:15:21] Speaker B: After that, the kid, the one, the one that I kind of like, this guy's a dickhead.
He's on the phone, he's. His girlfriend works at this place.
So soon as she walks away, he says to the other friend, yeah, man, bitches come and go, man.
So I'm like, slow motherfucker. So you talking about bitches come and go. I said, all right, that's another strike.
[00:15:46] Speaker A: Well, you know kids, they gonna try to impress their friends, man.
[00:15:50] Speaker B: Third strike.
[00:15:51] Speaker A: What was the third strike? They said the N word.
[00:15:53] Speaker B: He's on the phone talking to somebody.
He says the N word. Once. I was like, huh?
Still talking.
[00:16:02] Speaker A: But does he say like, yo, nigga, so and so and so?
[00:16:04] Speaker B: Nah, he's like, this nigga, that nigga, like, so. So I'm.
[00:16:09] Speaker A: Did you say something?
[00:16:10] Speaker B: No, man, I couldn't. You know why? Cause of my other shit I got going on I don't need my name coming up nowhere. I don't need no more film of me doing anything.
And it would have went down. Cause I.
[00:16:25] Speaker A: You should have been like, see a nigga slap a nigga.
[00:16:28] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause that's the one thing, like, when I was younger, I could, you know, kind of say something, and that'd be it.
Now that I got older, my patience got shorter.
[00:16:39] Speaker A: I had a time like that. I was at a restaurant. Well, it was like a bar restaurant at a hotel, like a little diner. And I was there.
And I think it was two or three kids. One of them was white. The other one was. The other one or the other two was black, but it was a black and white. You know what I'm saying? And they was friends, and they was going back and forth. Whatever. He's like, man, so and so and so and so, whatever, whatever. And I'm like.
[00:17:05] Speaker B: Yeah, man, we just talked about this a couple weeks ago too. Yeah, but yeah, I almost wanted to say something.
[00:17:12] Speaker A: And you did. I don't want to say you clown me for not saying, because I don't think I said something to them. Maybe I did say something to them, like, you gonna let your man say that? Or whatever. But maybe I walked up. I think I was just like, Shook my head and walk off at that time.
[00:17:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I might. I think I said I would have said something, but in the back of my mind, I'm thinking about other going on.
[00:17:29] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:30] Speaker B: So I'm like, you know, if that was the only one thing going on, cool. I take that on the chin. You know, let it. You could.
[00:17:38] Speaker A: You could have. You could have been a teachable moment.
[00:17:39] Speaker B: For, you know, it would have been too teachable. Cause I already didn't.
[00:17:44] Speaker A: You was in a bad mood. Oh, you already. You would have been on some. Yeah. Ah, I got you.
[00:17:50] Speaker B: It would have been too far.
[00:17:51] Speaker A: Okay, so other than allowing the white man to say nigga, what else have you been? So how else was your evening?
[00:17:58] Speaker B: Look, that's gonna say. So what did you watch last night? Yeah, ye.
What they call it? Nigga moment.
[00:18:06] Speaker A: It was okay, but when you said you had a nigga moment, I thought you meant like a nigga moment. Like, it was just a moment where you got out of character about something trivial.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: No, I tried not to. I really tried not to. Like, my whole. My whole dinner was messed up after that.
[00:18:22] Speaker A: Really?
[00:18:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:18:23] Speaker A: It really affected you.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: Cause I was in my head too much after that.
One part of my food came so late, they gave it to me for free.
[00:18:31] Speaker A: You just had a bad night. You was solo.
[00:18:33] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Oh, you was with the lady that stayed in your house.
[00:18:38] Speaker B: Yeah, the lady that stayed in my house.
[00:18:40] Speaker A: Shout. Not shout out to the lady that stayed at your house, but I finally. We forgot to mention Ryan Bias. I met your daughter. Oh, the oldest. Yeah. Your daughter tall as hell. I didn't know she was so tall.
[00:18:51] Speaker B: Hell yeah, she did.
[00:18:52] Speaker A: That's the one that was dancing at.
[00:18:54] Speaker B: The Coger Coker University.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. But on the. When y' all had y' all family thing. Let me have your family thing. Yeah, okay.
[00:19:01] Speaker B: Yeah, that's her.
[00:19:02] Speaker A: That was a nice event. But yeah, yeah, shout out to your daughter. Yep.
[00:19:05] Speaker B: Shout out. Sapphire.
[00:19:07] Speaker A: That's her name. Or that's a nickname.
[00:19:09] Speaker B: That's her name. Sapphire.
[00:19:10] Speaker A: So you're. So how about your other daughter, Jasmine?
[00:19:16] Speaker B: What?
[00:19:17] Speaker A: Nah, that's. Those are regular names.
Jasmine, Sapphire here, they're like.
Like, with those names, I would think they would listen to, like, Solange.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: Oh, my oldest. My oldest listen to everything.
[00:19:36] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:19:37] Speaker B: And Solange is one of them. But she's.
[00:19:40] Speaker A: Solange. Is her top in her top five?
[00:19:42] Speaker B: No, I definitely.
Whoever's in the top five is probably like Tyler, the creator and tallity creator.
[00:19:50] Speaker A: Our future type vibes.
[00:19:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:51] Speaker A: So, yeah, shout out to Shout out.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: She collects vinyl, so.
[00:19:55] Speaker A: Oh, Jesus. She like. She probably.
She get it from you.
What am I talking about here? What am I talking about here? Shout. Shout out to family time, though. You know what I'm saying? You out chilling, your pops come through like, yo, come on, let's go. Ride it.
[00:20:09] Speaker B: Hey, yeah. Come on. She didn't expect to see us on that trail.
[00:20:12] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. She was out there chilling hard.
[00:20:14] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:20:15] Speaker A: But. Yeah. What you watch this week, man?
[00:20:17] Speaker B: I watched.
I watched that cat Williams.
[00:20:23] Speaker A: I did, too.
[00:20:24] Speaker B: Did you, like.
[00:20:27] Speaker A: Left a lot to be desired. It wasn't as funny as, like, it was one he had. It was some years and years ago.
Probably like six or seven years ago, but it was a couple things I laughed at. You know what I'm saying?
[00:20:44] Speaker B: A light chuckle.
[00:20:45] Speaker A: Yeah, light chuckles. A few light chuckles, yes.
The Dave Blunt joke was pretty good.
Dave Blunt is the big rapper that. Sit on the couch. Sit on the chair.
[00:20:56] Speaker B: Oh, so you laughed at the stool one? The stool part, yeah.
[00:20:59] Speaker A: Yeah, that was pretty funny.
[00:21:00] Speaker B: That was a chuckle to me.
[00:21:02] Speaker A: It was a chuckle.
[00:21:05] Speaker B: The Usher one was pretty funny.
[00:21:07] Speaker A: Oh, God, that was great, yo. Hey, yo, I ain't gonna even spoil it for niggas like that. Usher Jones was like, yo.
[00:21:16] Speaker B: Yeah, but it was true.
[00:21:17] Speaker A: Though, like, how. How soon we forget.
[00:21:19] Speaker B: Yeah, that was how soon we forget.
And clever.
[00:21:24] Speaker A: That was like, I like comedy. Like, you'd be like, damn, that was too far. Yeah, but it was good, you know, Sound like stuff like that. Yeah, but it was. It was okay. I'm. I'm currently watching this guy. His name is Nate.
What's his last name? You see him all the time. Well, you may see him on social media.
[00:21:42] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, Nate Jackson.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: Yeah, that's him.
Yeah. Yeah, he does the. He. He's always doing crowd work. A lot of times he got on, like, jerseys.
[00:21:51] Speaker B: Y.
[00:21:51] Speaker A: When he Doing the crowd work.
[00:21:52] Speaker B: He's funny.
[00:21:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, He.
His special was.
It was okay.
[00:22:00] Speaker B: Yeah, it was newer one, I think.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: It just came out recently. It was. It's on Netflix, so.
[00:22:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't think it's new. I turned it off.
[00:22:09] Speaker A: Really? He got all black on.
[00:22:11] Speaker B: I don't remember, but I remember seeing his regular standup and was like, yeah, I'm gonna go back to the crowd works. The crowd work. Is it.
[00:22:18] Speaker A: In the one I'm watching, I'm at a point where he warns people, like, yeah, whoever don't want it. You know what I'm saying? If I start talking about you look away or whatever. I guess he warns every. So that's the same one.
[00:22:31] Speaker B: That's the same one. Yeah.
[00:22:31] Speaker A: Unless that's something he does all the time.
[00:22:33] Speaker B: Nah, I think that's the one.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: Okay, so I'm at the point where he warned the people, but you know what I'm saying, His ain't really.
It ain't really all that.
[00:22:40] Speaker B: Nah, it's not. It's just like a.
[00:22:43] Speaker A: It's cool. Like, it's Netflix.
[00:22:46] Speaker B: Don't be putting out no bangers for standups. They put out so many standups. They all don't be bangers.
[00:22:52] Speaker A: Yeah, they all not. But it's like a little rel.
[00:22:56] Speaker B: A little rel kind of feel to it.
[00:22:58] Speaker A: It was some of his. I can't remember his last one. I thought it was okay, but I think it was Gary Owen.
He was like, Netflix would give him a special.
[00:23:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:11] Speaker A: But a whole lot of politics about that. I think his comedy is pretty funny, though. I think it's funny. His would be funnier than Nate Jackson's.
[00:23:19] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
He'd probably get more.
[00:23:23] Speaker A: Probably more views, too.
[00:23:24] Speaker B: More views. And definitely because white people like him.
[00:23:26] Speaker A: And black people like him, and he's been doing it longer.
Ryan Davis couldn't get a Netflix special, but he put his out on his own and put it on YouTube and he been getting. You know what I'm saying? He been blowing up lately, you know what I'm saying?
[00:23:38] Speaker B: So a couple people been doing that too.
[00:23:40] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, some people had to film it on their own and put it out.
[00:23:44] Speaker B: Some people have been filming it on their own and selling it to Netflix if the money's right.
[00:23:51] Speaker A: Yeah, but they haven't. But like with Ryan Davis, they wouldn't buy his.
[00:23:55] Speaker B: Oh, shit.
[00:23:56] Speaker A: Same thing with Gary. Same thing with like.
I think they offer Monique some money, but it wasn't the money that she thought she could get. And that started the whole thing. But who else was it? Earthquake had one on Prime.
[00:24:11] Speaker B: I think Earthquake's pretty funny.
[00:24:12] Speaker A: Yeah, his was all right too. It ain't really been too many of late. That's been real, real funny to me, like, you know what I'm saying?
[00:24:20] Speaker B: It's a lot of hit and miss.
[00:24:21] Speaker A: Yeah, a lot of hit and miss.
[00:24:22] Speaker B: Like a lot of miss. More miss than hits. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:24:25] Speaker A: But I'm gonna still watch to check him out though. But yeah, that Cat Williams, you know what I'm saying?
It wasn't his. Funniest to me. You know what I'm saying? Y' all check that out. That's on Netflix.
[00:24:33] Speaker B: The name of it is Last Report.
[00:24:36] Speaker A: Yeah, the Last Report.
[00:24:37] Speaker B: Yeah. So is that his last stand up?
[00:24:40] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:24:41] Speaker B: I hope not.
[00:24:42] Speaker A: I don't think he meant. I can't remember. I just watched it last night too. No, not the last night. The night before last.
[00:24:46] Speaker B: Even his closing joke wasn't as funny.
[00:24:51] Speaker A: I can't even remember what it was.
[00:24:52] Speaker B: You was talking about. The hot dogs?
No, was it hot dog Shaq?
Oh, that might have been a closing joke.
Oh, yeah, that wasn't that funny, right?
You remember the ending of it?
[00:25:07] Speaker A: I just remember him running off stage. That's it.
Shout out to Cat, though. I fuck with Cat, though.
[00:25:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:13] Speaker A: What else you watched?
[00:25:15] Speaker B: Wonder Man. I finished that.
[00:25:17] Speaker A: What you think about Wonder Man?
[00:25:20] Speaker B: Durin is a good, good storyline. How they pulled the Mandalor, what's his name?
[00:25:27] Speaker A: The Mandarin.
[00:25:28] Speaker B: The Mandarin. How they pulled The Mandarin from Captain 3.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: The Iron man or Captain Iron Man 3.
[00:25:34] Speaker B: Iron man, yeah. So how they pulled him from that and made it a whole story over here was. That was cool.
[00:25:40] Speaker A: Yeah, it was dope, cuz.
In Iron Man 3, he wasn't really a bad guy. He was just an actor.
[00:25:48] Speaker B: An actor?
[00:25:49] Speaker A: Oh, well, yeah, he said he was an actor. Cause the real Mandarin was that white guy or whatever in the movie. So. Yeah, well, I mean, the Mandarin's white, but the way he did it and everything, that was.
[00:26:00] Speaker B: I really liked the end of it.
[00:26:02] Speaker A: Yeah, the ending was good.
[00:26:03] Speaker B: I wish it was more powers being used during the whole thing.
[00:26:08] Speaker A: Yeah. But I think the way they did it, it set it up for something good for like the movies or whatever, I guess.
[00:26:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:26:16] Speaker A: I ain't really a comic guy like that. I'm really heavy into these movies just based off the movies in the MCU and stuff. So, like you said, the way they tie the movies into the shows and stuff, I like how they do that. Even though a lot of the stuff has like a.
It already got a foundation from the comics. So some people know, like, this is what he can do, this is what they can do. Or this story is real, or that story ain't real. Or this. This is.
What's the. It's canon.
[00:26:42] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:26:43] Speaker A: This story is canon. Or this not canon or whatever. You know what I'm saying? So I like that type of stuff with it, but I thought it was good at first. I was like, man, it's too. He's too mono. No, he too, like. He's too.
He's not.
He complained about stuff or I'm not going to get it. Or he worrying too much. And he.
[00:27:04] Speaker B: He's like, you.
[00:27:05] Speaker A: No, I don't wear it like that. And I'm telling you, I'm like, Wonder, Man.
[00:27:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:09] Speaker A: What?
[00:27:10] Speaker B: Oh, man. This thing's not on the edge of the table like it's supposed to be. Why they on the edge of the table?
He's just like that.
Am I right?
[00:27:20] Speaker A: So. So the name of this episode going to be Wonder Brand.
[00:27:23] Speaker B: There you go.
Wonder B.
[00:27:26] Speaker A: Like, damn.
[00:27:27] Speaker B: Now for real, that's you. It might not be as extreme, but, you know.
Yeah, you got your ticks.
[00:27:34] Speaker A: Everybody do. But mine.
Mine isn't like. Of my doing.
Mine is like. I mean, like, I try to have it with. That's off my conversation anyway. But damn, you never know.
[00:27:47] Speaker B: Like you said, you burn up on Mike. Bring it up here now.
[00:27:50] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:27:51] Speaker B: Remember that?
[00:27:51] Speaker A: No, like, my stuff is like, all right, let's say like the bike. Like, we rent riding bikes, right?
[00:27:57] Speaker B: I got you.
[00:27:58] Speaker A: You loan me your bike. Yeah, I'm gonna take care of your bike. Like it's my bike.
[00:28:02] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:28:02] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:28:03] Speaker B: And bring it back the same way.
[00:28:04] Speaker A: And try my best to ride it the same way I would ride my bike. Because if I pay money for my bike, I'm gonna take care of my bike. I'm not Gonna scratch it up. I ain't gonna throw it down. I'm not gonna. You know what I'm saying? Gonna mess it up. I'm gonna keep it like it's. I wanna use it again.
[00:28:18] Speaker B: I hear you.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? And.
Or if we.
[00:28:25] Speaker B: I got you.
[00:28:25] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Like, if you. Like, you ever had to have a roommate?
[00:28:29] Speaker B: No.
[00:28:30] Speaker A: You never. Okay, so I see what you're saying. Yeah.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: I see what you're saying.
[00:28:36] Speaker A: Yeah. And when it. When it don't get.
When I'm in a situation where people don't do stuff the same way I would.
[00:28:43] Speaker B: Yeah. But yours is, like, to the point where it's aggravating. Yours is to the point of if it ain't hanging off the edge of the table the same way you left it hanging off the edge of the table, then it ain't right.
[00:28:57] Speaker A: I'm wrong.
[00:28:58] Speaker B: No, but I'm just saying, you know.
[00:29:00] Speaker A: It'S still supposed to hang off the edge.
[00:29:02] Speaker B: Some people look at it as like, hey, shit, it was on the table.
[00:29:07] Speaker A: You know, you just got a little.
[00:29:09] Speaker B: Yours turned up just a little bit. They got medicine for the shit you got.
[00:29:13] Speaker A: This nigga come.
[00:29:13] Speaker B: This nigga done came for me two.
[00:29:15] Speaker A: Weeks in a row. Hey, nigga, you saying, um, a little.
[00:29:17] Speaker B: Bit too much now?
[00:29:18] Speaker A: Shut the fuck up. With, um.
[00:29:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I remember to death.
[00:29:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:29:22] Speaker B: But, yeah, there you go.
[00:29:22] Speaker A: What.
What else you watched other than Wonder man and Cat Williams?
You can't.
[00:29:33] Speaker B: Can't.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I'mma meet a death hill.
[00:29:38] Speaker B: Let's see. I. I did.
[00:29:41] Speaker A: See. See, see. Nah, I'm vindicated.
[00:29:45] Speaker B: I got the. These lights is bright on me right now.
[00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:29:48] Speaker B: Let's see.
I did do another episode of Hijacking.
[00:29:56] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
Did one come out this week?
I don't think an episode came out this week.
[00:30:01] Speaker B: I was behind.
[00:30:02] Speaker A: But I'm saying I don't think one came out this week. Cause what's the last thing you remember seeing? You caught up?
[00:30:07] Speaker B: No, I don't think I'm caught up. I got one more.
[00:30:09] Speaker A: What was the last thing you saw? You remember?
[00:30:11] Speaker B: So when I first started watching it, it was three episodes, so I watched it, and then another episode came out. So I'm like, one behind. The last thing I seen was.
Dang, it was so early in the week.
[00:30:23] Speaker A: Shit. With his wife in the woods.
[00:30:26] Speaker B: Yeah, after that. Right after. Yeah, that might have been the last episode.
[00:30:29] Speaker A: That last one you saw?
[00:30:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. When she was coming out of the woods or something to make a phone call.
I think she had to travel out of the woods or something to make the phone call because she was talking to somebody on the phone.
[00:30:41] Speaker A: Okay. I know in one of the episode before did. Was it somebody in the woods with her?
[00:30:47] Speaker B: No.
[00:30:48] Speaker A: Okay. You might be too behind then.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:30:50] Speaker A: Yeah, you might be too behind.
[00:30:52] Speaker B: It's. It's all right. It's not as good as the first one to me.
[00:30:54] Speaker A: It's getting there to me.
[00:30:56] Speaker B: You think so?
[00:30:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's getting there. It's getting there. Yeah.
[00:30:59] Speaker B: Okay, then I'm keep on going.
I was holding back. Every. Every. I've been watching old stuff, Sanford and Son and stuff like that, so. And those spots I can. You know, I got time to go back and watch.
[00:31:12] Speaker A: Anything else?
[00:31:13] Speaker B: Nah.
What's today? Today is gonna be. Today's Sunday, but Monday.
[00:31:19] Speaker A: Oh, that's gonna be a day to catch up and watch all the stuff.
[00:31:22] Speaker B: Tonight. Sunday.
[00:31:23] Speaker A: Cause you. Yeah. Cause you.
[00:31:24] Speaker B: Oh, yep, yep. And Sunday, well, Monday, Jill Scott, tiny desk is coming out and stuff.
[00:31:33] Speaker A: Oh, okay. She did Front Porch don't last week too.
[00:31:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: How was it? Yeah, I didn't. I. I like Jill Scott, but her. I. Her music, other than like some of the songs, whatever. Her music is like too much of spoken word, poetry type shit.
[00:31:54] Speaker B: It definitely is.
[00:31:55] Speaker A: And ain't that type of nigga you is. I'm not, bro. I'm telling you.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: You don't like spoken word?
[00:32:01] Speaker A: Nah, them niggas kind of. The niggas kind of corny to me.
I applaud them spoken word people, but like.
[00:32:10] Speaker B: Hey, I was at a spoken word.
Me and Henny, we was at a spoken word event.
They was showing everybody love that got.
[00:32:20] Speaker A: Up on the stage, even if it was bad.
[00:32:22] Speaker B: Yeah. So I was like, you know what? I'mma be funny. I'm going to sign up. So I signed up to get up there.
[00:32:27] Speaker A: Did you go up there?
[00:32:28] Speaker B: Nah, I didn't go up there. Cause I think we got outta there or something. We left.
But I was really. While I'm sitting there, I'm thinking of all the crazy stuff to say.
Cause you know, the crazier you say.
[00:32:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:40] Speaker B: The more they like.
[00:32:44] Speaker A: Yeah, some of them people. Some of them. Some of it, like, I just don't.
Some of them people just be acting, man. They don't really be into that shit like that. They just be as bad as some of these trap niggas, man.
[00:32:56] Speaker B: Drop one, man. Go ahead. You got one. You got one in you.
[00:32:59] Speaker A: The rain is falling Drip, drip, drip, drip Wet and Warm like the insides of her thighs. Oh.
[00:33:11] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:33:11] Speaker A: The moisture is seeping out into the nether regions.
I don't know. I ain't expecting what I did today.
I don't know.
[00:33:21] Speaker B: That's what I was gonna do. I was gonna do something crazy like that.
[00:33:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I ain't name. I mean, like, she just dropped the album.
She. Like you said, her tiny desk coming. She was on the Breakfast Club.
Wednesday or Thursday? Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. One of them days she was on the Breakfast Club. Whatever. I mean, you know, it's cool. She got some good music or whatever, but it ain't. It ain't.
It's a little too. Too much to the other. You know what I'm saying?
[00:33:48] Speaker B: No matter how much spoken word I hear, it never sounds. I don't know why they up there with a piece of paper.
It's like the stuff like. Come on, you could have came up with that while you was up there.
[00:34:01] Speaker A: Some stuff be kind of, you know, whatever. But, yeah, only the empowerment ones, I guess.
[00:34:09] Speaker B: I don't know, the kick knowledge ones.
The man had his throat.
[00:34:15] Speaker A: Had his knee on his throat, and it was one. I just lit. I just saw a guy did, and he was basically acting like he was, like, talking to, like, Emmett Till Mama Tamir Rice Mama or so.
[00:34:28] Speaker B: That's clever. That's clever, though.
[00:34:30] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, something like that. But, you know.
Yeah. And that's all you watch.
[00:34:34] Speaker B: Yeah, man. What you been watching?
[00:34:36] Speaker A: Like, you. I've watched Hijacked.
It's a blowing money fast.
That's a documentary. Season two is a documentary about bmf.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: Oh, I started that.
[00:34:47] Speaker A: Yeah. On Starz.
[00:34:48] Speaker B: Yeah. I think I did the one episode.
They got two now, right?
[00:34:53] Speaker A: Episodes. Yeah, Four or five episodes. Yeah.
[00:34:56] Speaker B: I only did one when it first season. 2.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: Nah.
[00:35:01] Speaker B: Then is that. Do it go by seasons?
[00:35:04] Speaker A: Yeah, it's two seasons. It was one season. It was mainly focusing on, like. Focusing on, like, me. This season is T. Yeah. Terry and T is on there.
[00:35:12] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I seen the first episode of the second season.
[00:35:15] Speaker A: It's really only one reason why I'm watching. Just to see if they put my people up there, but I think they're.
[00:35:20] Speaker B: Gonna link it together.
[00:35:21] Speaker A: It was one part where his old lady was talking about how they started 44 motorsports or whatever.
[00:35:31] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:35:32] Speaker A: And my people started that with him. But she. She just said we started it with another partner. They didn't mention his name. But out of all them people, my people still the only one that's still locked up you know what I'm saying? So.
Yeah.
[00:35:45] Speaker B: Why Sway?
[00:35:48] Speaker A: Because they gave him life.
[00:35:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Murder charge?
[00:35:53] Speaker A: No, no, not really.
[00:35:55] Speaker B: All right.
[00:35:56] Speaker A: But, you know, and maybe that's why she didn't mention him by name, because he's still locked up. I don't know. Maybe they mentioned him in another episode. I was like, by name or whatever. Yeah. But, yeah, I'm watching that. The Beauty is another good show I'm watching, and I just thought. I just watched the movie this morning called God, it was just like, the Beauty. Let me see if I can.
It was called.
Because I had to look up the.
I had to look up the.
[00:36:27] Speaker B: Plot.
[00:36:29] Speaker A: Damn. How do I get my history?
[00:36:30] Speaker B: You watched a movie early this morning.
[00:36:32] Speaker A: I watched two movies early this morning.
[00:36:34] Speaker B: How are you doing up so early?
[00:36:35] Speaker A: I fell asleep on the couch.
Woke up, it was like six o'. Clock. And so one of the things I watched was called Good, Good Fortune.
It's with.
What's his name? Aziz Ansari, Keanu Reeves and what's my man name? Well, I'll show you. I'll show y'. All.
That's a Z's.
[00:37:02] Speaker B: Oh, so this is. Oh, yeah, I seen it. I just talked. I talked about this the other week. Yeah, yeah, the other week. It's pretty good, right?
[00:37:08] Speaker A: It just came out on Starz. It's on Starz now.
[00:37:12] Speaker B: It's all right.
[00:37:13] Speaker A: Yeah, it's better than art to me. I thought it was good.
And it has a message at the end, too.
[00:37:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I like it.
[00:37:19] Speaker A: Keke Palmer's in it, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought it was good, though. I liked it. I like Aziz because he, like, got a real, like, style. His. His demeanor is like a happy, go lucky type. Yeah, No, I don't mean it. You know, he harmless. He, like, harmless. You know what I'm saying?
And the fact that he from Veniceville.
[00:37:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:40] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? I fuss with disease.
I hate what happened to his career.
[00:37:44] Speaker B: What happened to it?
[00:37:45] Speaker A: Somebody accused him of, like, sexual assault or whatever, but really, he just. They went out on a date, came back, and he basically asked the girl one time, you know, to sleep together. She got uncomfortable and made a big deal about it.
[00:37:59] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[00:37:59] Speaker A: He never touched it. He didn't touch her. Didn't do anything weird or nothing like that. He was just like, yo, you know what I'm saying?
[00:38:04] Speaker B: Can I hit it? Basically, that was in la.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: Had to be out there.
[00:38:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:38:08] Speaker A: But this was like, at the super height of the MeToo movement. His show. His show was out. I think Season two had just came out of his show.
[00:38:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, he did have a show.
[00:38:17] Speaker A: He had a show on Netflix.
[00:38:19] Speaker B: I used to watch that too.
[00:38:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I love that show too, man. It only did three seasons, the first two seasons. Then the third season was Lena. Waithe Dag. It was focused on her, but. Yeah, but I like Aziz, though, man.
But, yeah, I watched that. Good. Good Fortune. It's a good show.
[00:38:36] Speaker B: Yeah, it was good. It was pretty good.
It's a movie.
[00:38:40] Speaker A: Yeah, good movie. I meant. Yeah, good movie.
Cross. I just started watching cross this morning, too.
[00:38:47] Speaker B: That's crazy. I just started back. Yeah, I started back the last.
[00:38:54] Speaker A: But you started from the first season.
[00:38:56] Speaker B: Yeah, because I didn't. I never finished the first season. So I went back. I started, like, episode three.
[00:39:03] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:39:04] Speaker B: To catch back up.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Yeah. So I'm glad.
So, like, back in the day when we used to watch a show, the new season come out or whatever. You just have to start now. They'll do a recap. Yeah, thank God for the recap. Cause I ain't remember nothing. You know what I'm saying? I ain't remember nothing.
[00:39:19] Speaker B: That was a long time ago. Wasn't.
[00:39:21] Speaker A: That was like, three years ago?
[00:39:22] Speaker B: Yeah. Was that.
[00:39:23] Speaker A: It was like, heavy covert time after Covid or. No, I mean, it was like in. It was like in 2022 type stuff. Because I remember a lot of people talking about it. I don't remember the world being all the way back open when it first came out, if I ain't mistaken. Yeah.
Show called the Industry. Well, industry, it's been. It's like four seasons out or whatever. It's a new season that's on now, but I just started it because I heard, you know, people talking about it, so I just started it or whatever.
Abbott and Night of the Seven Kingdoms, them two other shows I watched, but they didn't put new episodes out last week, so maybe they'll put one out.
Night of the Seven Kingdoms. Come out tonight. So maybe they put a new episode out tonight. And Night of the Seven Kingdoms, that's a.
A show. It's a prequel to Game of Thrones.
[00:40:07] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:40:07] Speaker A: Yeah. So, yeah, Super Bowl.
You watch the Super Bowl?
Did you watch it at Crib? You went to a party?
[00:40:18] Speaker B: No, I went to the cigar lounge.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: I was a lot of people there.
[00:40:23] Speaker B: No, it was. It was a handful of people. It wasn't that many.
I was more focused on my cigar because I think it was a boring game. But everybody's like, the defense is what made it tough. Oh, yeah, definitely. I Understand that, but it wasn't super bowl feel to me.
[00:40:41] Speaker A: I thought it was a great game.
[00:40:42] Speaker B: You did?
[00:40:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Because for one, I don't like high scoring games.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:40:48] Speaker A: High scoring game, to me mean there ain't no defense being played.
It was. It was some scoring, it was some deep. A lot of defense, but I thought it was a good game. I did.
And the team that I wanted to win won, so I didn't.
[00:41:07] Speaker B: I was checking it out. It's just too much show now. It's like watching it. The damn referee showing the damn coin that he's about to flip and he's almost posing the show, the camera, all that, man. Go ahead and play. Flip that and go.
[00:41:24] Speaker A: No, this is entertainment. This is the height of entertainment in America.
[00:41:28] Speaker B: It was corny to me.
[00:41:29] Speaker A: This is it. Yeah.
[00:41:30] Speaker B: I'm sorry.
[00:41:31] Speaker A: It's a show.
Did you watch the. Did you watch the halftime show?
[00:41:34] Speaker B: No.
[00:41:35] Speaker A: You didn't?
[00:41:35] Speaker B: I left.
[00:41:36] Speaker A: Oh, you left before the halftime?
[00:41:37] Speaker B: When it started. When the halftime was. Gary, come on. I said I was gone.
[00:41:41] Speaker A: Listen, I ain't know what he. I ain't knew nothing what he was talking about.
I saw sugarcane. I was like, oh, this going in.
[00:41:48] Speaker B: He going home. He going back home for this one?
[00:41:50] Speaker A: Yeah, Sugar cane's in it. This got to do something. Something with slavery. I don't know what he's saying. It's got to do with slavery some kind of way.
I ain't understood none of the words. And I saw power lines. I know they got problems with their power grid. I figured that had something to do with that.
He had a bodega. You know, they Puerto Ricans love bodegas. That's what they got the cat in there. The bodega cat. They get you a chopped cheese.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: They didn't have a cat, did they?
[00:42:13] Speaker A: Nah, they had a bodega cat, but they had a bodega.
What else they had in there? A lot of dancing. There was some twerking. Not one part.
The ligament.
They made us made an appearance. The liquor Patel community.
[00:42:26] Speaker B: What, the part by the truck?
[00:42:28] Speaker A: Yeah, by the truck. Yeah, I did. Let me tell you something.
That was a deliberate.
Okay, when he says this part, we're going to camera two.
[00:42:39] Speaker B: Going to camera two.
Camera two?
[00:42:41] Speaker A: Yeah. They went to camera two right then as soon as they did that, they went away from camera two. Like they could have went to camera one and then two after. But I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. You know what I'm saying? And you know it Was. It was a. I saw that it was. It was dope.
[00:42:57] Speaker B: I saw that and didn't realize when I saw that it wasn't. It wasn't like a video or something bringing that up. It was just a video that happened to be on that part.
[00:43:09] Speaker A: Oh, you just went to the video and it was just on that part?
[00:43:12] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm like, the fuck is going on?
[00:43:14] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. But, you know, he performed Lady Gaga. Looked different to me. I didn't know that was Lady Gaga. They said it was like different. So they were showing different celebrities dancing on the thing.
It was a real wedding.
It took place. It was something I read about the background of that, like how they. How it happened that they got to be the people that got married right there. But they really did get mad. Like that was a real ceremony.
And oh boy. Bad Bunny signed as the witness to the wedding. Like they real. On they real marriage license. He's the witness or whatever.
[00:43:47] Speaker B: Oh, wow. Yeah.
[00:43:48] Speaker A: So it was, you know, it was. You know what I'm saying? We can't have them all.
[00:43:51] Speaker B: I didn't know he was so famous.
[00:43:55] Speaker A: I knew he was famous cause he would be in like Corona commercials and all kind of stuff like that. Like he was in a commercial with Snoop like last year, year before last or something. And then when he got the super bowl, they was like, he's the most streamed artist in the world.
So I was like, okay.
[00:44:11] Speaker B: I didn't know he was so big. Like, he was so big. I watched a segment on him for the Grammys. The Grammys. He wore bulletproof underneath his clothes.
Have you seen him? He's real up and stuff like that. And he wouldn't sit with nobody else just in case something happened.
[00:44:30] Speaker A: But I think he started that after he got announced for the super bowl because he had said some stuff about the current. You know what I'm saying, administration and stuff.
[00:44:39] Speaker B: Yeah. This was the week before the Grammys. Was like two weeks before the week before.
[00:44:43] Speaker A: A week before the Super Bowl.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Yeah. So that's. I was. I was like, okay, so who is he? What is he doing?
[00:44:49] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, but what. What about the commercials?
[00:44:54] Speaker B: Did you.
[00:44:55] Speaker A: Any of commercials stood out?
[00:44:56] Speaker B: No, I didn't get to any commercials.
[00:44:58] Speaker A: Really?
[00:44:58] Speaker B: Nope. Zero.
[00:45:00] Speaker A: Okay. One commercial stood out to me.
[00:45:04] Speaker B: And.
[00:45:04] Speaker A: I'm gonna play it for you, see if you pick up a. I just.
[00:45:06] Speaker B: Didn'T pay attention to them. Okay.
[00:45:08] Speaker A: This one caught me. It was a good one, though.
Have you ever.
[00:45:19] Speaker B: What the.
[00:45:20] Speaker A: In your life seen tight ends this relaxed? I am so relaxed.
They're Carefree, calm, serene.
[00:45:38] Speaker B: You know what these tight ends are so relaxed about?
[00:45:41] Speaker A: Prostate cancer screenings. They've learned there's a simple finger free blood test.
[00:45:46] Speaker B: Roughly one in eight men will be.
[00:45:48] Speaker A: Diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I was one of them. I'm here today because I caught it early.
Gronk, what'd I teach you? Relax your tight end.
Prostate cancer screening starts with a simple blood test.
Find out if a PSA blood test is right for you at Relax. It's a blood test. Dot com. That's the best commercial of the whole time.
[00:46:09] Speaker B: Are you serious?
[00:46:10] Speaker A: Yes. You didn't know that?
[00:46:12] Speaker B: No. But when.
[00:46:13] Speaker A: You got your prostate screen yet? No, you didn't. It's time.
[00:46:17] Speaker B: It's time. But it's time, you know, I gotta get. Let me. Let me get. Let me relax myself to do it.
[00:46:25] Speaker A: You don't have to now. It's. It's a fingerless thing. All they do is a blood test.
[00:46:28] Speaker B: Ain't no way, Sway.
[00:46:30] Speaker A: They ain't got to stick their finger up there no more. We ain't good. We good.
We to the good.
[00:46:35] Speaker B: You'll get to the place where you'll be like, by the way, we do it the old way.
[00:46:39] Speaker A: That's why I was like. When I was watching and I was like, okay, they got all these tight ends. What they talking about? Or whatever. And then he was like, a prostate list. I mean, a fingerless exam. I was like, okay, all right. And then the butt started relaxing and I was like, okay, this is this it for me. This. And I'm at that age, too.
Oh, man, I'm at that age, too. I'm getting mine this year. Give me a blood test. You know what I'm saying? You got to stick nothing up your rectum.
[00:47:03] Speaker B: All right, you gonna make the appointment. You gonna get. There you be. Look, walking in there with your finger out, they'd be like, no, sir. Turn around.
[00:47:12] Speaker A: Doc, just let me know. You're going one knuckle or two knuckles.
[00:47:15] Speaker B: Is it gonna be.
Is it gonna be a date after or. Yeah, you're gonna send you home. Send you home and then. And tell you.
[00:47:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:47:23] Speaker B: Thanks for coming out.
[00:47:24] Speaker A: Don't block me after this, Doc.
Yeah, I thought that was. I thought that was a good one. It's for everybody around my age.
[00:47:31] Speaker B: That's crazy.
[00:47:31] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? You don't got to worry about the finger going up your room no more.
[00:47:34] Speaker B: That's crazy.
[00:47:36] Speaker A: It's All Star Weekend.
You ever participate in All Star Weekend?
[00:47:41] Speaker B: When you say participate, you mean watch.
[00:47:42] Speaker A: It go on All Star. Watch it.
[00:47:45] Speaker B: I watched. I used to watch it back in the day when you was younger, when it was good.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: Like you don't think it's good no more?
[00:47:51] Speaker B: I don't know because I haven't seen it.
I haven't been watching it.
[00:47:55] Speaker A: But I like that they do the celebrity Game. But I think the celebrity game ain't really good no more.
[00:47:59] Speaker B: Did they just start back doing the celebrity Game? Because I don't remember them doing it previous years.
[00:48:04] Speaker A: Nah, they've been doing it for as long as they've been having All Star Weekend. They've been doing Celebrity Game.
[00:48:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:09] Speaker A: I mean feel the past few years.
[00:48:10] Speaker B: Yeah. I haven't heard too much about it.
[00:48:12] Speaker A: Last year, but see that a celebrity game come on Friday nights. So I watched a little bit of the dunk contest. It was not them dunks.
High schoolers be doing them dunks in. In the game now. So slam dunk contest ain't really what it is. The three point contest is, you know, I don't know if they did the skills challenge, you know what I'm saying?
That used to be a thing they did.
[00:48:35] Speaker B: But I thought about that, the dunk contest. What else could they do?
Like they done, they brought a car out there. I mean it's jumped over people.
What's the next thing you could do?
[00:48:47] Speaker A: It's some dunks that like. It's some guys that's professional dunkers.
[00:48:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:52] Speaker A: And they be doing stuff that is like amazing. You know what I'm saying? You have to slow it down to really see what they doing with that type stuff. But these guys, the guys in the NBA really don't have time to practice dunks like that. But these other guys, they. All they do is dunk.
[00:49:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:06] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So what they do in the NBA ain't. You know what I'm saying? It's only like you say so much these guys can do. They need to just bring professional dunkers in and let them do the Duncan.
[00:49:16] Speaker B: Those are entertaining. Like some of them be short guys.
[00:49:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:49:20] Speaker B: And they all white guys.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: It is a lot of white guys.
[00:49:22] Speaker B: I never seen a black guy because, you know, in a professional Duncan it is.
[00:49:27] Speaker A: But they don't. They're not as big as the white guys.
[00:49:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:30] Speaker A: Yeah. They ain't as big as the white guys. But. But yeah, that's all I all I really watch, man. Ain't really no.
Ain't really no too much news happened this, this, this week. Nothing I can think about. They were talking about that lady that worked for the Today's show. Think her name, Samantha Guthrie.
[00:49:49] Speaker B: Kidnapping.
[00:49:50] Speaker A: You was talking about her mom? Yeah. They still ain't found that person.
I think it's been three weeks now.
Oh, I know. We can get into some of these emails we got.
[00:50:00] Speaker B: What you got?
[00:50:01] Speaker A: Yeah, we do got some emails.
[00:50:02] Speaker B: Who sent us something? Who sent us something?
[00:50:05] Speaker A: This one comes from Relationship Status.
[00:50:07] Speaker B: Okay. Yo, here, boy.
[00:50:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it says L.
It says, what's up, fellas? L. The five channels we had growing up were Fox, ABC, Embassy, Channel 9, and WPIX.
Yep. We used to catch all the reruns on WPIX, Channel 11.
That's where the classics came on. On another note, Beezy, you're right. It's way too many episodes to say which one is the funniest. The side piece Valentine episode, though. Oh, which what show?
On my show.
Oh, your show.
[00:50:39] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:50:41] Speaker A: Side piece. That one is definitely up there.
But the funniest moment ever to me was on the Guess what I Saw episode when y' all say Arby's and Chick Fil. A. Straight tears. I attached the clip. Hands down.
What'd you say? Hands down. The funniest moment to me.
[00:51:01] Speaker B: What episode?
I was on it.
[00:51:04] Speaker A: No, no, no. This is episode.
Yeah.
Let me see if I could play it.
Play the clip. Well, I'll finish reading.
[00:51:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:15] Speaker A: Saying congrats on another year of the show. Y' all keep doing what you're doing. Be easy. You already know this. But if it wasn't for this show and you personally helping me get started at the Blaze Pass, I wouldn't even be podcasting today. Major shout out to you and the show. Keep it up. He said, I'll try to send more emails. I'd be slacking. Lol, man. It's hard, like, to send emails to the show. It all depends on, like, what you're doing when you listening. It just take a lot, man. Yeah, take a lot. But, like, when I try to send emails to the people, like, especially if I know them personally, I try to send emails, but it gets tough.
It gets tough. Let me see if I can play this clip. Hold on.
[00:51:53] Speaker B: Shout out to everybody that'll be sending weekly emails, man. Y' all give us something to talk about. They give us something to laugh at.
[00:51:59] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:52:00] Speaker B: It pushes us to do the next week's episode because sometimes we be like, damn, we ain't got.
[00:52:05] Speaker A: Oh, it's so pretty.
[00:52:06] Speaker B: We got.
[00:52:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Sad note. Is it everything I've dreamed? Oh, my God. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
This girl we saw.
[00:52:13] Speaker B: I saw white.
[00:52:14] Speaker A: Oh, it's so pretty, dude.
Sad note. Is it everything I've dreamed? Oh, my God. It was like.
Oh, like, it was so bright and white and shaved. I saw white.
It was shaved.
[00:52:29] Speaker B: No bush. No.
Yeah.
[00:52:34] Speaker A: It ain't like black pussy.
[00:52:36] Speaker B: That.
[00:52:38] Speaker A: Black pussy Rose.
Black pussy look like Roseby. Arby's.
[00:52:50] Speaker B: Used.
[00:52:50] Speaker A: Black pussy look like Arby's. Yeah. White pussy look like chick Fil.
[00:52:54] Speaker B: A.
[00:52:58] Speaker A: White pussy look like white pussy look like Zack Smith.
[00:53:03] Speaker B: It looked like a.
[00:53:04] Speaker A: It looked like a.
[00:53:05] Speaker B: Like a.
Like a.
[00:53:06] Speaker A: Or something nice. Like a.
No, no, no, no, no.
It's like. It's like a rap. You know how? Like a rap.
Yeah, like a rap. Chipotle. It looked like a nice rap, you know?
[00:53:21] Speaker B: No, please, man.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: Oh, man. That. That episode came out September 6, 2016.
[00:53:29] Speaker B: I'm going back soon.
I'm going back and start listening to him.
[00:53:32] Speaker A: B. Mac. He always send me stuff. Shout out to bmac. He always send me things that he listened to from back in the day. He was like, man, y' all said such and such. I be like, we said what? Then I have to go back and listen. He did some. We were talking about Sam Brown couple episodes ago. He went and found the clips. He sent me them to me. I'm gonna clip them up.
[00:53:50] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:53:51] Speaker A: And put them on. Yeah, and we got an email from the homie DJ Highstar from mandatory overtime podcast.
[00:53:56] Speaker B: Yep, yep.
[00:53:57] Speaker A: He says you're what up, though? In my Detroit voice.
What's up, y'?
[00:54:02] Speaker B: All?
[00:54:02] Speaker A: How's everything?
I'm coming in hot off that jersey topic last week. As a who they say never had L is accurate as far as jersey elitism.
My black ass is on the other end of that.
I was exposed to all level of the jersey game. Just trying to get right my first jersey. Danny Barrows, number 11, Boston Celtics.
I think it was marked down to like $10 in models.
[00:54:27] Speaker B: Models. I was gonna say the same thing.
[00:54:29] Speaker A: Run of the mill, cheaper. Champion iron on letters. Nasty work.
But I was like 11 or something and geeked up to have a jersey. Like, champion jerseys was really all you could get at up until a certain point.
Like when they first start when jerseys was first introduced to, like, you could get jerseys.
For the most part, everybody had champion.
[00:54:51] Speaker B: Nah. But for. For fashion.
What do you mean fashion and style. It. It would. It. It went past champion jerseys.
[00:55:00] Speaker A: But I'm saying when. When. At the time you talking about when. When were you talking about what? Like, what years was it?
[00:55:07] Speaker B: We talk about, say, 99 to 2002.
[00:55:14] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm talking about before then. I'm talking like I used. I started getting jerseys in like 91, 92.
[00:55:19] Speaker B: Well, I was talking about the fashion.
[00:55:22] Speaker A: Well, I mean you was wearing. Cause like even like Dwayne Wayne on A Different World, he was wearing jerseys and stuff like that.
[00:55:31] Speaker B: But I think that high end jersey end up being big. Like when fabulous was wearing it on the video.
[00:55:38] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'm talking about before then. Like before Mitchell and Ness and all of that. You either had two things. You could get a champion jersey or like for basketball, or you could some kind of way get an authentic Jersey which was $300 football, you know what I'm saying? Basketball was kind of tougher for the most part. The basketball jerseys was all champion up until they started making swing man jerseys, which was like $70.
You had like Mitchell Laness and all of that.
[00:56:05] Speaker B: That's where the Mitchell Lanesse and all that got famous. After the authentic ones. After like the authentic ones was there, everybody was getting those. And then they started doing the throwback hardwood classic. Hardwood classic joints.
[00:56:21] Speaker A: Those town classic.
[00:56:22] Speaker B: Yeah, those are the same Damn price. Like six, you know, 300 and up. So that's when jerseys became like.
[00:56:29] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, but like you said it was, it was early 2000s, late 90s, early 2000s, when they started doing that like real heavy like that.
[00:56:39] Speaker B: Yeah. 99, 98. 99.
The basketball jerseys was big because I remember we went to Myrtle beach, went to bike week and I got pictures of all of us wearing like the Olympic. I mean the dream team. The dream team joints. Yeah, yeah. So that, that was a big around that time. And the Golden State warriors jersey was a.
[00:57:03] Speaker A: Probably Tim Hardaway or something like that.
[00:57:04] Speaker B: That was another expensive one with the colors on it.
[00:57:08] Speaker A: Denver.
[00:57:09] Speaker B: Denver Nuggets. Yeah, that's what it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:57:11] Speaker A: I'm telling you, jerseys from. See I still got them from sixth grade to. I mean from sixth grade until the time Jay Z said we ain't wearing jerseys no more.
I had, I had them. Reggie Miller, Scottie Pippins, you. So sports Grant. Yeah, Grant Hills.
[00:57:32] Speaker B: See, it was different for you. It was different. Cause you was into sports.
[00:57:35] Speaker A: No, but I mean jerseys was fashion too. You know what I'm saying?
[00:57:38] Speaker B: When you got people that didn't care about sports wearing jersey, that's when it was a different lane.
[00:57:42] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause it was. Yeah, it was fashion.
[00:57:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:57:44] Speaker A: But I mean girls used to do it too, but they just weren't like, they weren't as accessible. You know what I'm saying. Cause, like, with the champion Jones, them Jones really was like $40 out the stove. But back then, $40 for a shirt seemed kind of crazy, you know what I'm saying?
[00:58:02] Speaker B: Yeah, you might be right about that.
[00:58:04] Speaker A: But then football and all then, like, people. Like in the early 90s, people was wearing hockey jerseys, you know what I'm saying?
[00:58:10] Speaker B: But a hockey jersey.
[00:58:11] Speaker A: Yeah. I think Snoop really started that with the Jenna Juice video, you know what I'm saying? Baseball jerseys.
[00:58:18] Speaker B: Hockey jerseys was big, though.
[00:58:19] Speaker A: Yeah, hockey jersey was big.
[00:58:21] Speaker B: They were real big. And they were expensive.
[00:58:23] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, they would. They were the most expensive until the throwback era because they. They bigger, they got more material, they had more stuff on it and all of that.
He says, I think it was marked down to like $10. At models running the mill. Cheaper. Champion iron or letters. Nasty work. But I was like 11 or something and geek to have a jersey. But all jerseys were iron on in the beginning. Like, if you look at some of the old bull videos or like, if you watch the Last Dance, a lot of those older jerseys were ironed on. They didn't start tackle twill or sewing it in until a little later on.
[00:59:02] Speaker B: Yeah, all my shit was. My shit was iron on.
[00:59:08] Speaker A: Swing, man, was my happy medium. I got a white Iverson jersey. No Post Malone, although I had some Mitchell and Ness. Dr. J.
Phil Nairo, baseball. I say all that to say this jersey quality is trash nowadays. Basura. $100 to $150, standard. $100 to 150, standard price to get a jersey. And they're making them cheaper behind the guise of recycled materials and new technology. Shaking my head. Had to get that off my chest.
[00:59:36] Speaker B: Did you say basura?
[00:59:38] Speaker A: Basura, yeah.
[00:59:39] Speaker B: What's that?
[00:59:40] Speaker A: Trash. Basuro na basura.
[00:59:44] Speaker B: Yeah. It wasn't what you said.
[00:59:46] Speaker A: I just said it. English. I know Spanish. I talk.
[00:59:49] Speaker B: Who?
[00:59:50] Speaker A: I was speaking Spanish to shout out to my cousin L. Yeah. We was watching the super bowl together, and she was like, his daughter is like, six. She was like, she ain't understood what the. What a bad bunny was saying. I was like, he's speaking at. No. I said, no espleano. No blar espanol. She was like, what are you saying? I said, you don't speak Spanish? She's like, no. She's like, well, tell me this in Spanish. So I was telling her stuff in Spanish.
[01:00:11] Speaker B: You told her stuff?
[01:00:12] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Come on, man. I got a.
[01:00:14] Speaker B: You bilingual?
[01:00:14] Speaker A: A little bit. Guy at work, he was like. He was asking me. He's he speaks. He's from Ecuador.
[01:00:19] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:00:20] Speaker A: And he was asking me some stuff in Spanish, Whatever. I like telling. He was laughing or whatever. So he was like, elia. He don't say Elijah. He said, elia, how do you say what kind of car you want? I said, let me go get Marco for you. His name, Marco, whatever. Like, yeah, he started laughing. But, yeah, I know a little bit of Spanish, you know what I'm saying?
Poquito, you know what I mean?
But I want to see. Talking about basketball jerseys, $100 to 150 the cheaper, because some of these Nike jerseys be a hype. The football jersey? Yeah, they do the Nike football jerseys.
[01:00:54] Speaker B: I think he's talking about that era where it was like.
[01:00:57] Speaker A: No, he's saying right now. He said the jersey quality is trash nowadays.
100, $150 for standard price to get a jersey. And they're making them cheaper.
[01:01:06] Speaker B: Yeah, they gotta be basketball jersey.
[01:01:07] Speaker A: Yeah, he must be talking about basketball. Gotta be, because the Football Jones, they pretty. They pretty sturdy.
[01:01:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:01:12] Speaker A: Say, anywho, have y' all seen the Baby King documentary by any chance? It's Fire.
Nah.
Who Baby Keem. I think that's him. And I think him and Kendrick cousins.
[01:01:26] Speaker B: Yeah, he was a matter of fact. Now I know you're talking about because a young boy put me on to him and I end up listening to him for a good sweet month.
[01:01:35] Speaker A: Oh, you stuck on the dudes.
[01:01:36] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I like his shit.
[01:01:38] Speaker A: He says, I asked this question on my show this week, but if you had an opportunity to have one chore done for you for the rest of your life, don't have to worry about it anymore. What would it be?
One chore for the rest of my life.
[01:01:57] Speaker B: It gotta be like a house payment.
[01:01:59] Speaker A: That's not a chore, that's a bill. You know what a chore is? What?
[01:02:04] Speaker B: Cutting the grass?
[01:02:05] Speaker A: Yeah, something like that. Cutting the grass or.
[01:02:07] Speaker B: Man, I ain't got no chores.
[01:02:07] Speaker A: Something you do, like wash dishes or fold up clothes or go ahead, drop.
[01:02:13] Speaker B: Yours, then mine.
[01:02:18] Speaker A: Maybe like vacuuming the house. It'll be between, like vacuuming the house.
[01:02:23] Speaker B: Or.
[01:02:26] Speaker A: Making up the bed.
[01:02:28] Speaker B: Mine would be the whole house. Like the chore of cleaning the house itself.
[01:02:33] Speaker A: Cleaning the house.
[01:02:34] Speaker B: Yeah. Just imagine that. You ain't gotta clean the house no more.
[01:02:37] Speaker A: You gotta break that down, though. Cause that's this. That's real. Cause cleaning the house could be taking out the trash.
[01:02:43] Speaker B: Cleaning the kitchen. Boom.
[01:02:45] Speaker A: That's cool.
[01:02:46] Speaker B: That's a. Cause the kitchen, you go in there you clean it up and cook. Next, you know, you gotta clean it up after you cook. Cause there's stuff all over the place.
[01:02:54] Speaker A: Again, see, I clean as I cook.
Okay, I clean as I cook. That's why I didn't say that one. I kind of clean as I go.
[01:03:03] Speaker B: That's hard.
[01:03:03] Speaker A: Yeah, but see, you got more people at your house. To me, yeah, that's hard.
He says, my laundry, the whole process.
[01:03:15] Speaker B: That's a good one.
[01:03:16] Speaker A: I don't mind laundry. Cause I can do laundry. See, I like to. Like I said, I like to multitask. So I can do laundry.
I'll do my laundry. I do the laundry and then I fold up the clothes as I'm watching the show. So I'm sitting there folding up clothes as I'm watching the show. So you know what I'm saying?
He says, no slander upon Robert Nestor Marley. Lol. Be easy as rock. I think, bros. What do you mean.
[01:03:41] Speaker B: No slander, man, Come on.
[01:03:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, you did say that. Yeah, you did say that.
[01:03:46] Speaker B: Come on, man.
Come on, man.
[01:03:53] Speaker A: Says, I think bro is the most universally loved person.
I think being. Hell no.
He said, I think Beyonce is second. Nah, man. No Beyonce. It's a whole lot of people that don't like Beyonce. I think she working to worship the devil.
[01:04:09] Speaker B: Let's see who's it. All right, so it's God, Michael Jackson and then Beyonce.
[01:04:14] Speaker A: No, people don't like God.
They don't let God or herself.
[01:04:19] Speaker B: Hey, you like how I threw him in there, right?
[01:04:21] Speaker A: Yeah, they don't like God or his son. Because they don't act like they do.
No, you dead wrong with Beyonce.
[01:04:28] Speaker B: Nah, not Beyonce.
[01:04:29] Speaker A: He said distance. Distant second is honorable mention to Sade. White people don't even know who the shot is.
[01:04:35] Speaker B: Nah, they definitely. Why would he say that?
[01:04:37] Speaker A: Ah, but he live in his own. You live in your own bubble.
[01:04:40] Speaker B: You tripping today. Yeah, usually he'd be kind of like on it, but today he tripping.
[01:04:45] Speaker A: Maybe somebody like Mahatma Gandhi is over the two people.
[01:04:51] Speaker B: He just said, I gotta let you.
[01:04:53] Speaker A: I gotta let you watch that video.
[01:04:55] Speaker B: About the stuff that he said. He did.
[01:04:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I believe it.
Said, I'm rushing, per usual. So I know I'm missing some. I holla DJ High Star, but yeah, that's all we had. I thought we had another email coming, but that's all we got today, man.
What do you mean? What I mean?
You just showed me your phone.
[01:05:18] Speaker B: No, I was looking at the camera on it.
I was looking at the camera.
[01:05:22] Speaker A: Your people there yet.
[01:05:23] Speaker B: Yeah, they there.
[01:05:23] Speaker A: Yeah. See?
Try to put me in a trick bag.
