[00:00:43] Speaker A: That's good. Let's go with it. Rock star Loud. You turn it back up a little bit, though.
[00:00:47] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:00:48] Speaker A: How you doing, man? Good. Blessed and highly flavored.
[00:00:53] Speaker B: Oh, Lord.
[00:00:54] Speaker A: Oh, Lord.
[00:00:55] Speaker B: Big Michael. Michael, man.
[00:00:58] Speaker A: You've been watching it?
[00:00:59] Speaker B: Not really watching it, but I've been seeing, like, the clips. Clips. Oh, it's your boy. Be easy.
[00:01:04] Speaker A: It's your boy, Al.
[00:01:05] Speaker B: Sorry. We back, we back.
Yeah, I haven't really been watching it, but I see, like, clips. But I did see one clip and the clip was like, he had got a hundred million likes.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: 100 million. I saw it. He was like, oh, Lord, it's a hundred million.
[00:01:21] Speaker B: But check this out, though. When I saw it, I was like, he got 100 million likes. Okay. Over the time period. So I got to work. I was talking to my co worker.
[00:01:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:31] Speaker B: And he was like, no, B, that was 100 million likes that day on that.
[00:01:35] Speaker A: On that stream.
[00:01:36] Speaker B: I was like, what? Yeah, that is crazy.
[00:01:40] Speaker A: He said it. He was like, oh, lord, we got 100 million likes out here.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Oh, Lord.
Big Michael. Michael.
[00:01:47] Speaker A: He said, I'm the biggest.
[00:01:48] Speaker B: Yeah, he is, bro.
[00:01:50] Speaker A: He is overnight, son.
[00:01:53] Speaker B: Pretty.
[00:01:54] Speaker A: What did he say, a month? Three weeks.
Three weeks or something?
[00:01:57] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Yeah, that's. I wonder.
He's obviously like a rapper or something.
[00:02:03] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, he's too nice.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: He too nice with the freestyles.
[00:02:06] Speaker A: He too nice. He too nice. Yeah, I like the roasting. He be killing them.
[00:02:10] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, he's good. He's very entertaining. It's probably like a lot of people like that that's like, can do impressions and talented and stuff and, you know, they can, you know, do that shout out to him.
[00:02:21] Speaker A: He doing damn club appearances.
How he did one last night. Matter of fact, I seen it.
[00:02:26] Speaker B: Did they just put him on the screen?
[00:02:27] Speaker A: They bring. No, there's no filter. They was like, they said, why are you bringing your filter? He was like, no, I ain't bringing a filter.
[00:02:35] Speaker B: He did a rap battle with his self. For real? Yeah. It was like him.
And then it'll go to the Michael screen and go back and forth. I don't know how he did it, but I saw that clip too. Shout out to that guy. What's his name?
Loose Cannon, I think.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: Michael. Yeah, Michael something. Loose Cannon.
[00:02:51] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But yeah, man. How was your week?
[00:02:53] Speaker A: It's pretty good, man. Do too much. Do too much. You know, family in town, so. Yeah, family stuff.
[00:02:59] Speaker B: Condolences to your family, man.
[00:03:01] Speaker A: Thank you, man. Thank you.
[00:03:02] Speaker B: You know, your family is my family.
[00:03:04] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:03:05] Speaker B: I want to say I. I know I ain't never been there to eat.
[00:03:07] Speaker A: Oh, I should.
[00:03:08] Speaker B: I have gotten food from there before,
[00:03:10] Speaker A: but you should have came last night or Friday night.
[00:03:14] Speaker B: Thanks for that.
I was about to say thanks for the invite, but it was a. It was a. Setting up our awake or whatever.
[00:03:20] Speaker A: Nah, but after this, it's. Yeah.
[00:03:22] Speaker B: Oh, I know how people do. Come on.
[00:03:24] Speaker A: At least, let's say 300 people.
[00:03:29] Speaker B: 300 people?
[00:03:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:03:30] Speaker B: At least three at the house.
[00:03:31] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause, you know, they got property across the street and property next door.
[00:03:36] Speaker B: Oh, I didn't know that.
[00:03:37] Speaker A: Everybody's at the main house. You go, you can see groups of people over here, and in the dark, you see groups of people over there.
[00:03:44] Speaker B: Where was the smokers?
[00:03:46] Speaker A: All over.
[00:03:47] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:03:48] Speaker A: It was on the porch.
There's no designated smoking area out there, you know.
[00:03:54] Speaker B: Well, I mean, y' all out there, so. Yeah, but that many people came, man.
[00:03:58] Speaker A: More.
[00:03:58] Speaker B: Was she like, the grandma?
[00:04:04] Speaker A: Yeah, she was even. She was the.
Was she the oldest out of 10?
She might have been the oldest out of 10, but she was the boss out of that 10.
[00:04:15] Speaker B: Do they do family reunions?
[00:04:16] Speaker A: Yeah, they used to. I mean. Yeah, every once in a while. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
[00:04:21] Speaker B: Y' all family reunion. If they did a family reunion, y' all family did a family reunion.
[00:04:25] Speaker A: Oh, it's big.
[00:04:26] Speaker B: It might be bigger. Biggest. Bigger than my family family reunion.
[00:04:29] Speaker A: What's your last names?
[00:04:31] Speaker B: Pearson. You know what I'm saying? Like. I'm saying bigger as far as, like, number of people show up. Like, we be having, like, three, 400 people show up.
[00:04:37] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, easily. Yeah, easily. Because, I mean, I know this is a different situation, but. Yeah, but even Christmas, you'll see.
[00:04:45] Speaker B: But even, like, with this situation, you don't have 300 people show up. You know what I'm saying?
[00:04:52] Speaker A: So Corey, you know, Corey Sims, she got, I think, 10 brothers and sisters or something. Something like that. That's just her.
[00:05:04] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:05:06] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:05:07] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:05:08] Speaker A: So that's not counting her sisters. I mean, her. Her mother, her mother's sisters and stuff like that, man.
[00:05:14] Speaker B: Yeah, that's a lot.
[00:05:15] Speaker A: Yeah, that's just her.
[00:05:16] Speaker B: A lot of people, but, yeah, condolences to your family.
[00:05:18] Speaker A: Thank you, man.
[00:05:20] Speaker B: You know what? You been up to that, man, you know, buying electronics, you know.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm the first.
[00:05:32] Speaker A: Hold on, man.
[00:05:32] Speaker B: I'm the first in the city, baby.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: Look, when I seen the picture, I
[00:05:35] Speaker B: was like, you saw the video? Oh, you saw the picture?
[00:05:38] Speaker A: I was like, dang, is this a motion video? Cause I see his head getting bigger. They say he the first in town. He the first.
[00:05:44] Speaker B: She told me. Then she lied to me. She was like, this, going on our slack channel just for the job. And she put it on there personal. Yeah, she put this on. On my face on her Facebook.
I got like five messages like, oh, nigga, you got that.
[00:05:58] Speaker A: You got bread.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: Yeah, you got that shit.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: Yeah, so that's why I called you. Cause I was.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah.
[00:06:06] Speaker A: Cause you did.
[00:06:06] Speaker B: Yeah, you did call me.
[00:06:07] Speaker A: I was gonna get off. I was getting off early that day, and I was gonna stop by and get one.
[00:06:11] Speaker B: I was like, oh, yeah, they only. They only had a small number now.
[00:06:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I didn't even. Cause at. I had time and I sat down and I started going over it. Yeah, it's something about the camera that made me say, let me wait.
Cause the camera.
[00:06:28] Speaker B: Which phone you got now?
[00:06:29] Speaker A: I got 16, but I was comparing it with the 18.
Oh, 18 is like 48 megapix.
But it was something that made me say, hold on, let me do it.
[00:06:41] Speaker B: It don't do the digital zoom. It don't do the zoom.
[00:06:44] Speaker A: I don't need zoom. Cause I. I don't zoom. Cause you'll lose quality when you zoom.
[00:06:48] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, you do. But some people like. Like to zoom in somewhere.
[00:06:51] Speaker A: You know what? It might have been the cropping of it.
[00:06:53] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know.
[00:06:54] Speaker A: The cropping is different because the way the phone is shaped.
[00:06:58] Speaker B: Oh, you mean the apps?
[00:06:59] Speaker A: Yeah. No, no. Like if you're taking a video or a picture, you know, you used to, like, you wanted the long way for social media. You wanted landscape for, like, wide. It's something different about that one that you didn't like that made me say, hold off that, you know, lean weight.
[00:07:14] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:07:15] Speaker A: They.
They. They talking bad about it already, which is crazy.
[00:07:19] Speaker B: Yeah, some people talking bad.
[00:07:20] Speaker A: I've seen a couple crack screens, but, yeah, I saw.
[00:07:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw. I saw a couple of that too. But I'm. I'm. But I'm getting it because I'm looking for stuff for that phone. Like, case, you know, I'm looking for a slim case and this, that, and the third. So I'm wondering if all of that stuff come to me because I'm looking for that. Like, that's. You know what I'm saying? And I got the Phone, so.
[00:07:41] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:07:42] Speaker B: But I'm taking good care of mine. But I kept my other one, too,
[00:07:47] Speaker A: though, so where's it at, man?
[00:07:48] Speaker B: Oh, it's right here, baby.
[00:07:49] Speaker A: Let me see this.
[00:07:50] Speaker B: It's right here. Go ahead. You can go ahead and show it up. Don't drop it. Look, look. I don't want to be one of them crack case.
[00:07:56] Speaker A: Oh, it's kind of heavy, too.
[00:07:57] Speaker B: Yeah. Got that weight on it. Yeah, yeah.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: It's heavier than the regular iPhone.
[00:08:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah. Don't open it too much. I don't want no down.
What message up there? Somebody zoom in.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Nah, this is nice. This is nice.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: It's just like, if you like tech. Just like if I'm watching a movie.
[00:08:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:15] Speaker B: I can close it as soon as I close it. Flip to the outside screen. Yeah. Like, this is dope. Yeah.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: Oh, man.
[00:08:22] Speaker B: And all one thing, they said, like, the app's not integrated yet, so.
[00:08:27] Speaker A: Oh, that's quick. That camera came up quick.
[00:08:29] Speaker B: That's nice.
But. Yeah. Okay, well, that's dope.
[00:08:34] Speaker A: There we go.
Yeah.
[00:08:35] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:08:36] Speaker A: Get me up here.
[00:08:37] Speaker B: All right.
[00:08:39] Speaker A: Yeah, that's nice.
I shouldn't have touched it.
[00:08:42] Speaker B: Why?
[00:08:42] Speaker A: Because my second thoughts, you know, before I was like, nah, I'm a.
[00:08:46] Speaker B: Wait. Oh, now you.
[00:08:47] Speaker A: Now I'm looking at, like, maybe not.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
Who your service with?
[00:08:52] Speaker A: Verizon.
[00:08:53] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. You wouldn't have got it. You'd have had to be up there with me.
[00:08:55] Speaker A: Huh?
[00:08:56] Speaker B: You would have had to be in there with me to get it.
[00:08:58] Speaker A: I don't want to do it that way.
I don't want to get it at the store.
[00:09:01] Speaker B: Why?
[00:09:02] Speaker A: Because if I get it shipped, that little tax that I got to pay, they'll just put it on my bill at the store. I got to pay it in cash.
[00:09:10] Speaker B: Oh, you can put it on your bill, too.
[00:09:11] Speaker A: Nah, I'm telling you, I got a business account.
Trust me. I don't know the odds and the ins and the outs with them.
[00:09:19] Speaker B: I don't know. Sometimes it's who you know. Yeah, I know, because I just got this phone. Let me tell you.
I just got this one last year.
[00:09:25] Speaker A: You still go to. You go to the same person.
[00:09:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:09:27] Speaker A: Yeah, me too. That's.
[00:09:28] Speaker B: Yeah. She know what to do now.
[00:09:30] Speaker A: That's the homie.
[00:09:31] Speaker B: But I had two. I had two phones anyway. Yeah. So I had got. I had to get a third line.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: No, you did not.
[00:09:38] Speaker B: I did, but I cut the other
[00:09:39] Speaker A: one to get it.
[00:09:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I cut the other one off, though. Cause I wasn't using that Line.
[00:09:43] Speaker A: Just switch this. Well, now you, now you can switch the number.
[00:09:48] Speaker B: I don't want to.
[00:09:49] Speaker A: Word.
[00:09:50] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't want to because I do most. I'm gonna do most of my talking on this joint.
[00:09:54] Speaker A: That's 18.
[00:09:55] Speaker B: Huh?
[00:09:56] Speaker A: That's the 18.
[00:09:57] Speaker B: No, this is the 17.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: 17.
[00:09:58] Speaker B: 17 promax.
[00:09:59] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: I was gonna keep this one for. You know. I kept my thirteen promax for like four years.
[00:10:03] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:10:04] Speaker B: Yeah, so look, what's a little two
[00:10:08] Speaker A: thousand dollar price tag on there?
A little fold.
[00:10:12] Speaker B: You think it's too.
[00:10:13] Speaker A: IPhone dual. Yes.
[00:10:15] Speaker B: It's over for terabyte.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: Yeah, it's over.
[00:10:20] Speaker B: N. I ain't got. I ain't got. I ain't got the terabyte.
[00:10:22] Speaker A: That terabyte up there. Well, they got a one terabyte and a two terabyte also, right?
[00:10:27] Speaker B: I don't know if they got a two in the story. I heard the guy, he came in and got the terabyte. Yeah, this. I'm listening, I'm ear hustling. He had eight lines. He like, yeah, this will bring your phone bill to 8.99. Guess what I said big. Michael. Michael.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: Damn.
How many lines you got?
[00:10:45] Speaker B: I just got two. Well, I had three, but I got two.
[00:10:47] Speaker A: I got about four.
[00:10:49] Speaker B: But. Your. Your family though? No, all of them yours?
[00:10:52] Speaker A: Yeah, I got the iPad, the watch. Oh, those are all lines, those separate lines.
[00:10:58] Speaker B: You know, you can get them turned off, right?
[00:11:00] Speaker A: I don't need them. What, turn what off?
[00:11:02] Speaker B: Your.
Those lines on your watch and your
[00:11:06] Speaker A: thing n. I think you got to keep.
Well, for the iPad, I use it.
I use that.
[00:11:14] Speaker B: See, I just use. So I just use my.
What do you call it when you send the. You send the signal from your phone.
[00:11:23] Speaker A: Oh, man. Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
[00:11:26] Speaker B: Cause it's the same. Cause I was gonna do that, but it's the same signal that you would get on the iPad that's on your phone. So I just let my iPad connect to my phone.
[00:11:36] Speaker A: I could probably turn my, my watch off now because the watch has paid off, you know.
[00:11:42] Speaker B: Oh yeah.
[00:11:42] Speaker A: Here and there and stuff. They tell me.
[00:11:44] Speaker B: Yeah, I ain't want to get. I ain't want to put too much of your game out there, but I know. You know what I'm saying? I know why you got to get that. Oh, hell yeah.
[00:11:49] Speaker A: Yeah, we got to keep it on there.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: Shit, that's. I want to say that that's how I did my watch too when I got it. Man. This watch old though. I had that watch a Long time that mother gonna have to break for me to not use it.
[00:12:01] Speaker A: So I had the one, the series one, the series three, and then I went to the Ulta Ultra.
[00:12:10] Speaker B: This one is a series either three or four.
[00:12:13] Speaker A: Yeah. I ended up giving the one and the two away to my daughters. So now this is the only one I got.
[00:12:18] Speaker B: And really that was an excuse.
Yo, I'm giving them to the daughters. Let me get the new one.
[00:12:23] Speaker A: No, they found them in my frigging watch case.
You know, I kind of collect watches, so I got a case. And also.
[00:12:31] Speaker B: You just had them in there.
[00:12:32] Speaker A: I think they saw it in there.
[00:12:33] Speaker B: Dang, you not using this. Let me.
[00:12:35] Speaker A: Can I. There you go. And that's how it happened.
[00:12:37] Speaker B: Yeah. Only thing about.
Only thing about the. This old watch, when I got the 17, it took a long time for it to like connect and all of that. Cause of how old the phone is. Like, it was, it was. It was a hassle. Yeah, it was a hassle. Damn.
[00:12:53] Speaker A: They telling me, you eligible for upgrade. I'm like, nah, this is on the
[00:12:57] Speaker B: watch of the phone on the watch.
So this watch ain't even with Verizon. I had this watch with Sprint.
[00:13:04] Speaker A: Oh, oh, but it don't matter because that. It's not a LTE watch, right? It's not a.
[00:13:10] Speaker B: It was.
[00:13:11] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:13:11] Speaker B: Yeah. But like I say, I got it cut off.
[00:13:13] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:13:14] Speaker B: I want to say.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cuz man, Sprint was. Man, back in the day, you want a device, $10 a month.
[00:13:22] Speaker A: Sprint was no joke though. Yeah, you owe $2. The bill was yesterday.
[00:13:27] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, they cut. They might cut you goodbye. Well, you know what? That depends. It depends though, on your standard with them. Like, I was with them. Like I had got with them in like 2002.
I was with them for a long time. I was with them so long. And when people would like look at my. They would look at my account, it was like, oh, dog.
Like you can hear them be shocked. Like, how long? And like, oh, you got this contract.
[00:13:49] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:13:50] Speaker B: Like, yeah, that's dope. No, don't change that contract. They'll say stuff like that.
[00:13:54] Speaker A: But anyway, I might get. I don't know. I'm looking at it. I like that.
[00:13:58] Speaker B: It's nice, man.
[00:13:59] Speaker A: IPhone Duo.
[00:14:01] Speaker B: And like, well, you don't retire it, but you know, using it for stuff like that, man. The only thing, the only. The main reason why I kept this phone was because of the camera.
The camera on this is better. Like now they.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: Well, at a certain distance, the cameras Are the same. They're both 48 megapix.
So they got three cameras on the 18. Well, you got 17. 18 and 17. Same thing, right. So they got three cameras on it.
All three of those cameras is 48 megabytes megapix.
The duo only has two cameras, so that took a notch off of something.
[00:14:42] Speaker B: Oh, then the selfie cam on the regular iPhones is better. That's something, too, that people say. But. Oh, yeah, it's a way to get around it. You can flip the phone and you can, like.
You can use the regular camera, but you can have it open to where you'll see what's going on. So you can use the regular camera.
[00:15:03] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? That could be. That's a little, you know, workaround people was using or whatever.
[00:15:07] Speaker A: But, yeah, on that duo, the new duo, one of those videos don't go up to 4K. And it might be the.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: It's the selfie one. Yeah, yeah.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: It's like 1080p.
[00:15:19] Speaker B: Yeah, but other than that, man, I love it, man. I was watching the video, and the dude, he was scrolling Instagram and Facebook at the same time. Like, half the screen was Facebook, half the screen was Instagram. I was like, yo.
So then I was like, hold up. So then I figured out I had Netflix playing. I was scrolling. Yeah, yeah. On the other side. Like, it's just. You know what I'm saying? I love even the dudes that work. Like, man. You know, B. Like that technology stuff. Yeah, yeah, anything. You know what I'm saying? Like, tablets or devices. As far as, like, stuff we use here in the studio, all that kind of stuff, that's what I'm into. So, you know, that's dope. But. Yeah.
What else you did this week?
[00:16:00] Speaker A: I didn't do too much, you know,
[00:16:01] Speaker B: I was dealing with family.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: Dealing with family and trying to get over, you know, work, little work. Work situations, you know.
[00:16:08] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I called you one day. You was. I was like, yeah, what you doing this. Let me tell you something about Elle.
If there's a. If there is a challenge, somebody was like, yo, this person gotta answer the phone or you gonna die.
I'm calling L. Cause he will. It don't matter what he doing. He gonna answer the phone now. You might get right off the phone.
[00:16:28] Speaker A: Yeah, most of the time I answer.
[00:16:30] Speaker B: I called him. He was like, yeah, let me call you right back. I'm locking somebody up.
I was like, okay. I got nervous. I was like, okay. But then I was like, nigga, you just could have sent me the voice.
[00:16:42] Speaker A: Look, I don't even know what I was doing, but I might have was doing something on the phone at the time, and I just went on and answered it.
[00:16:52] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:16:53] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:16:55] Speaker B: Yeah, I used to be like that, too, but some people be like, couple people. A couple times I did. It was like. I want to say when I was Blaze, like, man, just, why you answer the phone?
[00:17:04] Speaker A: Why you answer that?
[00:17:05] Speaker B: Blaze and my cousin L. Shout out my cousin Leela, man, why you just. Just don't answer the phone? I'd rather you not answer the phone.
[00:17:12] Speaker A: So sometime I do it. Like, not thinking, like, real quick. Like, if I'm sitting here doing this.
Yeah. I'll hit you right back.
[00:17:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:17:20] Speaker A: And then get back to what I'm doing.
[00:17:21] Speaker B: That's. But see, I think, like, if. If somebody call. If I call somebody and they give me the time to say, well, hey, I'mma call you, they give me an answer like I'm doing something or whatever. Like, they acknowledge that I call as opposed to sending me the voicemail. I feel like that's a little better, but I feel like people don't like that.
[00:17:37] Speaker A: Are you the ones that get on there and text somebody call me?
[00:17:41] Speaker B: What do you mean?
[00:17:42] Speaker A: Like, if you text somebody, be like, yo, call me. Do you text people? Call me?
[00:17:47] Speaker B: Yeah, I will.
[00:17:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay.
[00:17:49] Speaker B: Cause some stuff take is. Is. I need it quicker than a. Than a text. So I'll text that. Because at the moment, you might not be able to talk.
[00:17:57] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:57] Speaker B: But when you can talk, you'll call. And then a talking conversation. If it's something you need a quick answer for, you'll get that answer quicker if they call you as opposed to them texting it.
Yeah, but.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: Yeah, but that was it. I hardly even watched stuff today. This. This week. You watch anything?
[00:18:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched my usual stuff.
The drop.
Abbott elementary.
[00:18:25] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: Slow Horses ended last week. The last episode came out last week.
[00:18:30] Speaker A: Damn, this nigga done.
[00:18:31] Speaker B: Yep. Six. They only did, like, six episodes this season.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: Yeah, it was wild, too, before they
[00:18:37] Speaker A: went to, like, eight, Right? Eight or nine.
[00:18:39] Speaker B: Eight or nine. Yep. Yeah, but them British shows be doing that. I remember Luther used to do that. It'd be like four episodes in a season.
[00:18:45] Speaker C: Mm.
[00:18:47] Speaker B: Mobland is crazy.
[00:18:49] Speaker A: Hey.
[00:18:49] Speaker B: You caught up?
[00:18:51] Speaker A: No, I'm.
[00:18:53] Speaker B: Last episode. You one behind, Two behind. Two behind.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: Two behind still.
[00:18:57] Speaker B: Where you at?
[00:18:57] Speaker A: Oh, man. Hey. So the people, like, even now while I'm watching, I'm like, wait, so who's she? Who is he to Her? Who is she to him? Okay, like the grandmother? Well, she ain't the grandmother. She ain't. She's Pierce Brunson's.
[00:19:14] Speaker B: Pierce Brosnan? Yeah, his wife.
[00:19:17] Speaker A: His wife?
[00:19:17] Speaker B: Uh huh.
[00:19:19] Speaker A: The girl's stepdaughter. That's her stepdaughter.
[00:19:23] Speaker B: What girl?
[00:19:23] Speaker A: The one with the dark hair.
[00:19:26] Speaker B: Okay, give me a little something.
[00:19:28] Speaker A: Cause you know what I'm talking about.
[00:19:30] Speaker B: No, no, no, she's an Indian.
No, yeah, that's her stepdaughter.
[00:19:34] Speaker A: All right. So who's the.
Is that young kid the son? That one that caused all the problems?
Is that Pierce?
[00:19:44] Speaker B: So, And I just figured. They just said it. So that's, you know, his son, the daddy that plays on the Game of Thrones show, that plays on House of the Dragon. The one that was doing.
He had. Did the drugs outside. He really looked like he ain't built for that. He looked like the softest out of everybody on there.
[00:20:03] Speaker A: The young one that got killed.
[00:20:04] Speaker B: No, he didn't. He's still alive.
Did the. Did they. The kidnapping thing, did that happen? Did you see that yet?
[00:20:10] Speaker A: The teenager?
[00:20:11] Speaker B: Well, he's not a teenager, but no, not the teenager. The kidnapping thing with the wife. His wife got killed.
[00:20:17] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:20:18] Speaker B: So you remember the episode? So you know that guy that pulled a gun out?
He pulled a gun out to get his wife back. Remember the dude came through on the, like, scooter or whatever.
[00:20:27] Speaker A: He's the son, Pierce's son. The ones.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: Pierce Bronson. Yeah, he's his son. Yeah, he's his son.
[00:20:32] Speaker A: Yeah, but who's the young one?
[00:20:34] Speaker B: That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm about to say.
That's supposed to be his son.
That's supposed to be the son's son. Yeah, but that's really Pierce Brosnan's son.
[00:20:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:46] Speaker B: Cause he slept with his old lady. Old lady? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I never picked that up. I don't know, they might have explained it on other seasons, but his wife says something about it.
[00:20:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:20:59] Speaker B: And you know what I'm saying? So I don't know if they just revealed that or if that was something that was out, but. Yeah, that's that.
[00:21:04] Speaker C: You.
[00:21:04] Speaker B: You want it?
[00:21:05] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, they did it kind of. Like, by the way, like, if you don't know the characters by name, then you would have missed it.
So the.
The grand. I call it a grandmother.
She told the young kid, like, you know, your father slept with. I'm not really such and such. I'm, you know, she.
[00:21:24] Speaker B: She Told him when she went to the house that he had with the girl.
[00:21:30] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:21:31] Speaker B: She's crazy.
[00:21:31] Speaker A: She was laying on the bed next to him, like, yeah, what we doing?
[00:21:35] Speaker B: Yeah, that was weird.
[00:21:36] Speaker A: I saw that. I was like, hold on now.
[00:21:38] Speaker B: Wait.
[00:21:38] Speaker D: Who is she?
[00:21:39] Speaker A: But she's a stepmother.
[00:21:41] Speaker B: Step grandmama.
No, no, no, no, you're right. No, not Step.
[00:21:46] Speaker A: That would be the title. Stepmother. But it's really step grandmother.
[00:21:53] Speaker B: It's crazy because.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no, no. It's just a stepmother. Because either way, if it's the sons. No, it'd be the grand.
[00:22:04] Speaker B: Yeah, that's why I had.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: Yeah, it's. It's really.
[00:22:08] Speaker B: She's titled. She's really. Yeah, that. That boy.
But no, he's still kin to her. Yeah, because that's her.
No, he's not kidding at all.
[00:22:19] Speaker A: At all.
[00:22:20] Speaker B: She's not. Yeah. Cause that's not her son's son.
[00:22:22] Speaker A: Yeah, it's Step.
[00:22:23] Speaker B: That's step grandmama.
[00:22:25] Speaker A: Slash mother.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: No, not slash mother. No, that's his.
That's his step mama. That's not his step grandmama. Yeah, that's his stepmom.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: That's crazy. And she's.
[00:22:37] Speaker B: And hold up. Yeah, that's his stepmom.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: She off the hook.
[00:22:40] Speaker B: Yeah, she is.
[00:22:41] Speaker A: Mobland is good. Go watch.
[00:22:42] Speaker B: Mobland is good. Yeah, it's a lot. It's. It's a whole. And you notice, like, say, like a show, like, snowfall, Even though most. It's like, kind of half CIA stuff, half hood.
It just seems like all hood. No, no, no, no. It seems like Mobland is more classy. Even though it's all drugs and killing and it's more killing than Mob Land.
[00:23:08] Speaker A: It's a lot of killing.
[00:23:08] Speaker B: It's way more killing than mob land.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: The racetrack, the dog.
[00:23:12] Speaker B: It was crazy.
[00:23:14] Speaker A: That was a massacre.
[00:23:15] Speaker B: That was a massacre.
Yeah.
[00:23:19] Speaker A: Where'd that come on so people can find it?
[00:23:20] Speaker B: That comes on Prime.
[00:23:21] Speaker A: Prime.
[00:23:22] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Some Mob land.
[00:23:23] Speaker A: War.
[00:23:23] Speaker B: I didn't watch War this week.
Get Gyro. That's that cartoon anime show I watch. If you in the anime, that's a good show.
[00:23:30] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:23:31] Speaker B: And I ain't even an anime type of person, but something just about that. I liked it.
The Lowdown is good.
[00:23:38] Speaker A: I forgot about The Lowdown.
[00:23:39] Speaker B: Season 2 and then Vision Quest.
[00:23:41] Speaker A: Don't tell me about Vision Quest.
[00:23:42] Speaker B: Okay, I won't.
[00:23:43] Speaker A: Was it four episodes up now?
[00:23:45] Speaker B: Three, I think. Three.
[00:23:48] Speaker A: They don't come out of two at a time.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: Nah, just one. The first. The first. You know, initially, they did okay.
[00:23:53] Speaker A: And then they won after that.
[00:23:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
Vision Quest and Mike Tyson got a documentary on Netflix, another one.
[00:24:00] Speaker A: Oh, he do?
[00:24:01] Speaker B: Uh huh.
[00:24:01] Speaker A: Is it good?
[00:24:03] Speaker B: I mean, it's Mike Tyson.
[00:24:05] Speaker A: It's the same story, kind of.
[00:24:06] Speaker B: I think they go more into depth. Somebody, Me and somebody at work was talking about it, I think at work, and they were saying, like, he's really involved in this one. Like he got more say so as opposed to the other ones where he.
He was in it. But he ain't had no say so. Cause I remember one he was in and it was like, I remember him saying that. That, you know, he called the Desiree lady, the woman that he went to jail for.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:36] Speaker B: Sexually assaulting or whatever.
He caught her. Vile woman, because she lied on him. Whatever, whatever. So I wonder if she.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: Okay now.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Her. Yeah, I. I guess I wonder if
[00:24:48] Speaker A: he put the head out like, oh,
[00:24:49] Speaker B: no, he ain't even like that.
[00:24:50] Speaker A: Made the. Made the. He ain't like that now.
[00:24:52] Speaker B: But one thing I did notice about Mike Tyson is he got them eyes, man.
[00:24:57] Speaker A: What eyes?
[00:24:58] Speaker B: Them crazy people eyes.
Them eyes like you just. You just unsure about what going on behind them, man.
[00:25:04] Speaker A: Like, who said that?
Somebody says, just like talking to a lion.
Like they're there, but any second they just.
[00:25:14] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. That's the look he got. That's the look he got.
[00:25:17] Speaker A: Yeah, dog's got that look to me.
Dogs got that look to me.
[00:25:22] Speaker B: Some dogs like just looking at the.
[00:25:24] Speaker A: Yeah, Mo.
Yeah, some dogs, they got that look. They just looking.
But you know, like, all of a sudden they just.
[00:25:32] Speaker B: You know how like some, Some people, like, you could tell by their facial expressions what they thinking and stuff like that. But Mike Tyson, man, it's just an uneasy feeling watching tv, looking in his eyes, man.
[00:25:45] Speaker A: My boss is like that.
[00:25:46] Speaker B: Well, they kind of. They, they on the spectrum.
[00:25:48] Speaker A: The top boss. He.
[00:25:49] Speaker B: He on the spectrum.
[00:25:50] Speaker A: Ah, he crazy as hell. Like, he's real happy going.
[00:25:55] Speaker B: I was trying to be.
Trying to be politically correct, but I was like, nah, that.
[00:26:00] Speaker A: Nah, he just. I seen him all the way flip all the way out.
[00:26:04] Speaker B: I flip out too, but nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. I have empathy in my eyes.
[00:26:08] Speaker A: I mean, when I say flip out, I mean like, oh, shit, ain't no fight after that.
[00:26:12] Speaker B: Foaming at the mouth.
[00:26:13] Speaker A: Yeah, he do that too. I seen him slam his hand on the table. I looked at the table to see if the table was broke.
[00:26:18] Speaker B: Dang.
[00:26:18] Speaker A: I said, damn, this little guy, he about. He's shorter than you, nigga, I ain't short.
[00:26:23] Speaker B: I'M Average height.
[00:26:24] Speaker A: Average height for a what?
[00:26:25] Speaker B: For a human in America?
[00:26:27] Speaker A: Yeah. What are you, five, six?
[00:26:29] Speaker B: Hell, no. I'm five, nine, and three quarters. N.
What are you talking about?
Disrespect me?
[00:26:35] Speaker A: That's Today's episode's name.
5, 9, and 3/4.
[00:26:39] Speaker C: I am.
[00:26:40] Speaker B: Let me tell you. I haven't told you the 5, 9, and 3/4 quarter story. No, go ahead now. So I went to the doctor to get a physical or whatever. So they did my height, and it was like, five, nine, and three quarters. I was like, okay, that's very specific.
So my homegirl, Kim.
Shout out to Kim. Her sister was having, like, a little get together at her house.
[00:26:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:27:00] Speaker B: And we were playing this drinking game. And the drinking game was. It was mostly girls. It was like a couple dudes. And the game would. At the game was like, drink if you the tallest person in the room. So they looked at me because it was a bunch of women. So you know what I'm saying? It was like, b, you probably the tallest person. I was like, he might be the taller. He might be taller than me. He's like, I don't know. Y' all look like y' all about the same height.
[00:27:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:27:22] Speaker B: So we stood up back to back, and it was like. It was like, y' all the same height. And I was like, hold up. How tall are you? He was like, man, I just got a physical. It was like 5, 9, and 3/4. I was like, he said that? Crazy. Yes.
[00:27:35] Speaker A: Hell, no.
[00:27:35] Speaker B: We was the exact same height. 5, 9, and 3/4. He was like. Because he had to get.
He had to go to the doctor for something, too. And I had just went like a week before.
[00:27:43] Speaker A: Come on. Two weeks before y' all went to the same doctor?
[00:27:46] Speaker B: Nah, man, ain't nobody.
[00:27:48] Speaker A: You 5, 9, 3 quarters.
[00:27:49] Speaker B: I mean, they have to do.
[00:27:50] Speaker A: Sell them in 2 centimeters.
[00:27:51] Speaker B: Yeah. I don't think they do centimeters when they do inches. I mean, that's math.
But.
But yeah. So every time somebody asks me, like, how tall you about? 5, 9, 5 10. No, 5, 9 and 3 quarters. I ain't gonna lie to you.
[00:28:07] Speaker A: So, you know, you shrunk. That three quarters is gone. You five, nine now.
[00:28:10] Speaker B: No, I'm five, nine, and three quarters.
[00:28:12] Speaker A: No, you're getting older. Your back is starting to arch.
[00:28:15] Speaker B: I ain't. No, My back ain't arching. I go to. I get the. I go to the.

[00:29:25] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Sound like drug deal.

[00:29:48] Speaker B: It like. It's like just something to be right here.
[00:29:50] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:29:52] Speaker B: So it's somebody that's local. She do herbs, Lapaires. So she got some mullion tea. It's supposed to get the mullion.
[00:30:01] Speaker A: Mullion, yeah. Never heard of that one.
[00:30:03] Speaker B: Yeah, it's supposed to M, U, L L E, I N. Mullion. T. I think that's how you pronounce it. You know what I'm saying?

[00:32:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I wanted to be in LA with the jigger man too. I do know one person that Went though.
[00:32:43] Speaker A: Oh, word.
[00:32:43] Speaker B: She had some good ass seats too. She made that bread. She's a nurse.
[00:32:46] Speaker A: Seen video?
[00:32:47] Speaker B: Yeah, I've seen video.
[00:32:48] Speaker A: Oh, word.
[00:32:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. People was hating talking about they thought it wasn't gonna be sold out, but that was sold out.
I see a lot of that. I. I saw the cameras they was using and the cameras they used in like from clips from like the shows he did in New York. He got to be shooting. He's shooting something.
[00:33:08] Speaker A: What do you mean he's shooting? Oh, oh, because so many cameras. We said that before. Yeah, we was like, all right, let's wait for that footage to come out. Where that footage now?
[00:33:15] Speaker B: It ain't came out. It's a. I'm talking about, you know, that big camera that be on the Damn. The. That be going back and forth. It was like one of them big ass cameras. Like, man, that camera probably cost about a hundred thousand dollars. You ain't just using that for social media. They shouldn't win or something.
[00:33:28] Speaker A: They shooting with reds. Red cameras.
[00:33:30] Speaker B: Yeah, them reds, like a hundred, right?
[00:33:32] Speaker A: They got different models, just like the cameras y' all got.
[00:33:35] Speaker B: I saw one that was like. I saw. I did see one red that was like 10 bands.
[00:33:39] Speaker A: You get it?
[00:33:39] Speaker B: It was like a square jump.
[00:33:40] Speaker A: Yeah, you get it cheaper than that. You get a red cheaper than that.
[00:33:43] Speaker B: Oh, okay, okay. Yeah, but red is like. I know they say
[00:33:50] Speaker A: these black magic.
[00:33:52] Speaker B: Yeah, these black magic cameras. Red cameras for like, if you like, kind of like, even though they do cost a good little bit.
[00:34:00] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:00] Speaker B: On the low end, you can use them to like shoot Netflix movies.
[00:34:03] Speaker A: Yeah, the Netflix. If you're trying to shoot something for Netflix, they give you a standard of, you know, what kind of camera need to be shot on and stuff like that. Tubing.
[00:34:13] Speaker B: You just need a Motorola razor.
[00:34:15] Speaker A: There you go.
[00:34:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:17] Speaker A: Oh, you got one of those, those round cameras. Yeah, let's.
[00:34:21] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, go ahead, send it.
[00:34:23] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, send it in. We'll take it.
[00:34:25] Speaker B: Speaking of Jay Z, I didn't tell
[00:34:27] Speaker A: you what I watched.
[00:34:27] Speaker B: Oh, what you watch? I thought you said you ain't watched that much, so I thought that was it. And normally I don't go first, so. Okay, flip the script.
[00:34:34] Speaker A: Go ahead.
I saw the end of Oak Street. Did you see that?
[00:34:40] Speaker B: What is that?
[00:34:41] Speaker A: It's a.
It's a movie.
[00:34:43] Speaker B: That sounds scary.
[00:34:45] Speaker A: Nah, some kind of portal.
[00:34:47] Speaker B: Oh, God. Sound more scary.
[00:34:49] Speaker A: Like, took a whole street away and switched it with like dinosaurs and stuff.
[00:34:55] Speaker B: Oh, that's new.
[00:34:56] Speaker A: Yeah, it's new.
[00:34:57] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:34:58] Speaker A: It's pretty good.
[00:34:59] Speaker B: I'm surprised you watch something like that.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: Why you say that?
[00:35:02] Speaker B: It's more sci fi, you know?
[00:35:03] Speaker A: Oh, it wasn't sci fi. It was brutal.
[00:35:05] Speaker B: So we still sci fi. Dinosaurs. Portals.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: Yeah, I guess so.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: But it was good, though. How many episodes?
[00:35:12] Speaker A: I was one movie. It's a movie.
[00:35:16] Speaker B: Oh, it's a movie.
[00:35:17] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a movie.
[00:35:18] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:35:19] Speaker A: It do look like a series or something, but it's a. It's a movie.
[00:35:23] Speaker B: Speaking of movies.
[00:35:24] Speaker A: What?
[00:35:25] Speaker B: Street Fighter.
[00:35:27] Speaker A: What? You watched it?
[00:35:28] Speaker B: Yes, man.
[00:35:29] Speaker A: Is it good?
[00:35:30] Speaker B: Hell, no.
[00:35:31] Speaker A: Oh, I was wondering.
[00:35:32] Speaker B: I thought that was horrible.
[00:35:34] Speaker A: Why would you think it was good anyway?
[00:35:36] Speaker B: I don't know. It's Street Fighter, man.
[00:35:37] Speaker A: I love Street Fighter. Never put out a good movie.
[00:35:39] Speaker B: They only put out 1. 1.
And that was all right.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: The one with Dolph Lund?
No, John Claude Van Damme.
[00:35:47] Speaker B: Yeah, that came out in the. You know what I'm saying?
[00:35:49] Speaker A: In the 90s, when you was like.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: You didn't care.
[00:35:52] Speaker A: You didn't care what it was. Characters.
[00:35:54] Speaker B: Yeah, they got a Street Fighter 2 cartoon movie out, but the characters look pretty good. But that mov, bro, I didn't even finish it, man.
[00:36:02] Speaker A: Why would you even click on it?
Like, that's not. There's free. There's no way it was going to look like it was good. If you watch the previews, you definitely wouldn't have watched the movie.
[00:36:12] Speaker B: The one thing in the preview that turned me off was 50 Cent
[00:36:18] Speaker A: looking like.
[00:36:19] Speaker B: Yeah, just give it up.
[00:36:21] Speaker A: Who was he again? Balrog.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: Balrog.
[00:36:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. No, I can't.
[00:36:26] Speaker B: When you said movie, that made me think of that. But anyway, go ahead.
[00:36:28] Speaker A: I'm sorry, what are the non. Mentionables. Yeah, can it get that? Not an honorable mention.
[00:36:34] Speaker B: Honorable.
[00:36:36] Speaker A: Honorable mention.
[00:36:37] Speaker B: Yeah, my bad. Go ahead, though.
[00:36:39] Speaker A: No, you good. And I watched the Wu Tang documentary on Netflix.
[00:36:43] Speaker B: Oh, Netflix. What's it called?
[00:36:45] Speaker A: The Disciple.
[00:36:46] Speaker B: Okay, I did see that.
[00:36:48] Speaker A: It was. Right.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: I didn't see it, but I saw the thumbnail for it.
[00:36:51] Speaker A: Yeah, it was like the whole backstory about that one album. Yeah, that one album.
[00:36:58] Speaker B: The. The one that Martin Shkreli. Yeah.
[00:37:03] Speaker A: So I don't care about giving it up. Cause nobody gonna watch it.
[00:37:07] Speaker B: No, I mean, it's talking about how he got it. Or is it just how they made it?
[00:37:11] Speaker A: He was kind of planned.
[00:37:13] Speaker B: He was?
[00:37:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:14] Speaker B: What do you mean?
[00:37:16] Speaker A: The.
Him acting crazy and stuff like that.
They told him to do that. Who?
[00:37:22] Speaker B: His lawyers?
[00:37:23] Speaker A: No, like the whole. They wanted to make a freaking.
A buzz about the Album.
So him going back and forth with Ghostface and stuff like that, he went over the top where they just wanted him to do certain things. They said they had to stop him. When they said he was gonna say something about old dirt, ODB being dead, that's when it was like, oh, we got to chill.
[00:37:54] Speaker B: But I mean, he, he was super rich.
[00:37:59] Speaker A: Yeah. But you know what they didn't do? They did like, they had like, I think they said six people that they was gonna choose to sell it to.
[00:38:08] Speaker B: Uh huh.
[00:38:08] Speaker A: And they choose him.
But soon as they choose him, he ended up being a freaking bad guy.
[00:38:14] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause he had. He.
And I think we talked about him on here.
[00:38:19] Speaker A: Yeah, definitely.
[00:38:20] Speaker B: But he.
[00:38:21] Speaker A: 200. He went up on like the medicine.
[00:38:24] Speaker B: Medicine for. I want to say it was insulin. I think it was insulin. Something like that. Yeah, one of those. Yeah, it was like a medicine that if you can't afford it, you die. Yeah, like if I can't afford my asthma medicine, I'll just be very uncomfortable for a long time. But yeah, you will die if you don't get that medicine. Yeah, he went up. Real.
[00:38:44] Speaker A: He went up.
[00:38:45] Speaker B: Yeah. But then.
[00:38:46] Speaker A: Yeah, but yeah, so they tried to make a, you know, they went to him, was like, hey, why don't you do this?
Why don't you say, you know, try to get in good grace with people again and give the album out for free and stuff like that.
[00:38:59] Speaker B: We'll buy a streaming or whatever.
[00:39:00] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So he was like, nah, I wanna
[00:39:03] Speaker B: say he got arrested.
[00:39:04] Speaker A: Yeah, he did.
That's what happened.
The feds ended up getting it.
[00:39:09] Speaker B: Cause something happened with him and his money and they basically took a lot of his assets. And that was one part of it.
[00:39:18] Speaker A: Yeah, they said it was. The album was in some vault for a certain amount of year. About a year or so, a year and a half. Yeah, I thought about. I was like, man, if I know the Wu Tang album's in there, what's gonna stop me from going in and playing it or recording it real quick?
[00:39:36] Speaker B: But yeah, so that. But that was just one.
One documentary. Wasn't a. Yeah, that was one documentary, was it? It wasn't like a series.
[00:39:44] Speaker A: No, it wasn't a series. It was just one documentary. It was. It was cool though, to learn how the guy got in touch with the rza. Like he was flying squarely. No, Golden Rings, the guy that linked with him to make the album.
[00:39:59] Speaker B: Oh, oh, okay.
[00:40:00] Speaker A: So he was.
[00:40:01] Speaker B: So he went. Golden Rings is not a Wu Tang member. No, he sound like a nigga that Was with them from the beginning.
[00:40:06] Speaker A: Now he's like a super fan.
So he, he would fly out and, and come to Staten island and try to catch, you know, catch up with some of the people and come to the Woo shop or across the street from the Wu shot was.
[00:40:19] Speaker B: So he was like really putting in work to get in touch with them.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: Yeah, so the Rizza, his sister, owned a shop, Woo Nails, across from the Wu shop. He would go over there and met her and, you know, stand in front of the radio stations and stuff, trying to really track him down.
[00:40:33] Speaker B: Old school.
[00:40:37] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. It was all right, though. It was all right.
[00:40:40] Speaker B: I'm sure Yoshi gonna watch it.
It's a watch Love Killer army and all of that you do. Ooh, Disciples. He love all of that.
[00:40:48] Speaker A: So I gotta tell him about Killer Sand.
[00:40:51] Speaker B: You. You know him too?
[00:40:52] Speaker A: Yeah, I gotta tell him a crazy story about him.
[00:40:54] Speaker B: Yeah, Yoshinola. That's Yoshi people right there shout out
[00:40:56] Speaker A: to Yoshi free killers and killerson's in jail right now.
[00:40:59] Speaker B: Is that the. That cut his dick off?
[00:41:00] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no, that's one
[00:41:02] Speaker B: of the, that's one of the Woo affiliates, I think.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: Yeah, that's Hellraiser or something like that. I think one time we went, I went and picked up killers in a two door car.
Went and picked him up, was going down to the club.
He gets in, yo, come on, let's go, man. We, so we get to the club, he was like, hey man, I need to go back to the house real quick.
All right? Like when I say the street, the whole street was blocked off, like a block party. That's how many people's at this club. He comes down with a damn shotgun and gets in the car. I'm like, oh, this. Oh, come on.
[00:41:36] Speaker B: This crazy.
[00:41:37] Speaker A: Come on, man, I don't want none of this in my car.
So once we got there, he finally linked up with some other people he knew. So I'm like, yeah, yeah, okay, all right. I'm about to go anyway, man. You, you good?
[00:41:48] Speaker B: You good?
[00:41:49] Speaker A: I'm out of here.
[00:41:50] Speaker B: I'm out of here.
[00:41:51] Speaker A: This one guy had a damn pit bull off the leash.
[00:41:56] Speaker B: Just run, I'll run.
[00:41:57] Speaker A: Terrorizing everybody, screaming, he terrorizing the dog running through. But he had like a chain, like, you know, a lock with a chain that he was using to walk him.
If he drops that chain and the dog hit a chain, he stops and sits down wherever he's at.
[00:42:14] Speaker B: Really?
[00:42:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:15] Speaker B: Oh, he had him trained.
[00:42:16] Speaker A: Yeah. But that thing was, he was causing mayhem out There.
Regular night in Chateolin, huh?
[00:42:22] Speaker B: Yeah, that's how y' all used to do it.
We mentioned something earlier about Jay Z.
[00:42:30] Speaker A: Giga, man, he need to go back to that name.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: I want to hear what you think about this.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: Jay Z. Since 2019, the rapper and Roc Nation creator has selected or at least curated the super bowl halftime performers. From the Weeknd to Rihanna and most recently, Bad Bunny, Jay's been able to book some of the biggest names in music, and he might have his pick for 2027. According to Puck News, Hova himself will be playing the next halftime show. It's fitting, if you think about it. He's had quite a year. He's been selling out stadium shows, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album. The 2027 Super bowl will also be in Los Angeles at SOFI Stadium, where Jay just happens to be playing two shows this weekend. All right.
[00:43:11] Speaker A: Daggy paid him, too.
He dropped some bread over there, too.
[00:43:15] Speaker B: Who?
[00:43:16] Speaker A: Jay? He was like, it happened to be this weekend at Such and Such Ain't no Piper.
[00:43:20] Speaker B: That's a good. Yeah. Little slick promo. Real quick.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Come on, Jigger, man. He a businessman, I guess.
[00:43:26] Speaker B: What do you think about that?
[00:43:26] Speaker A: Come on, man. It was a setup. What do you think?
[00:43:29] Speaker B: All the way.
[00:43:31] Speaker A: Two years ago, he was like, you know what?
Let me do this.
I put this out. We'll do the whole. We'll bring in the Yankee Stadium thing, and that same year, we'll do the Super Bowl.
You know how much Jay Z's albums are gonna go up the next day after the Super Bowl?
[00:43:48] Speaker B: Oh, of course. Immensely.
[00:43:49] Speaker A: 100 million percent more.
[00:43:52] Speaker B: Not 100 million percent.
[00:43:53] Speaker A: Okay, 100% more.
[00:43:55] Speaker B: Maybe not that much. Now, the only reason I say that is because of how much they went up after the Yankees thing.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: The Yankees thing.
How much it went up then, I
[00:44:05] Speaker B: don't know, but I'm sure they went up a lot.
[00:44:07] Speaker A: Cause I've been listening to it since the Yankees thing. For real.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: I have, too. Especially, like, you know, say it's the anniversary of this and Blueprint.
[00:44:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:44:17] Speaker B: So, yeah. And then. Then you see, like, he went. He did the show in Paris. He did the show in.
In New York. In la.
[00:44:26] Speaker A: He did Vegas, too, right?
[00:44:27] Speaker B: He didn't do Vegas. No, he just did la. Paris and New York.
[00:44:30] Speaker A: La. I'm sorry.
[00:44:31] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Like. Yeah, he just did two in LA last night. But
[00:44:37] Speaker A: that's crazy.
[00:44:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:38] Speaker A: I mean, he could find nobody else. I don't. I really don't want to see it.
[00:44:42] Speaker B: Why?
[00:44:44] Speaker A: Because we've seen so much going on this past year with Jay Z.
[00:44:48] Speaker B: What do you mean?
[00:44:49] Speaker A: So many of the concert clips and this and that. I don't. I don't need to see it. I could get away with. You could bring Usher back. You could do something else.
[00:44:56] Speaker B: He just had Usher like four years ago.
[00:44:57] Speaker A: I know, but I don't need to see Jay.
[00:45:00] Speaker B: Here's the thing.
You saying he could bring Usher back means you have nobody else with him to bring, which further lets us know that he needs to. It is cool for him to pick himself.
[00:45:11] Speaker A: So you think it's cool?
[00:45:12] Speaker B: I don't care. I mean, if it was me and it was like, hold on, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen.
Let's say nine years ago, however many years ago.
[00:45:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:45:22] Speaker B: And I'm the head of Rock Nation. I mean, I'm the head of the Super Bowl. They. Yeah, you get to pick the artist for the Super Bowl. Who you want to go first?
[00:45:28] Speaker A: I'mma pick myself. Me. Dylon. Dylon.
[00:45:31] Speaker B: Yeah, I'mma pick myself first. That's just me. Yeah, I'm going to get me out the way. You know what I'm saying? Then we'll go from there. He done had. Dr. Dre was on there. Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar was on there twice. Rihanna, Kanye.
[00:45:43] Speaker A: They went to the weekend. They were due to go back to something white.
They was due to go to.
[00:45:49] Speaker B: No, they not.
[00:45:50] Speaker A: Yeah, man. Rolling Stones again.
[00:45:53] Speaker B: We've been white the whole time. We done did sp. Spanish this. Spoke Spanish the whole time.
[00:45:58] Speaker A: Yeah, he did.
[00:45:59] Speaker B: He just said hello.
[00:46:00] Speaker A: And what's his name? Bad Bunny.
[00:46:02] Speaker B: Bad Bunny. And Bad Bunny been on there twice. He was on there with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, man.
[00:46:07] Speaker A: They could have did the old school bring Janet back out.
[00:46:10] Speaker B: Good point. They tried to get Janet for a couple years and Janet just keep refusing. All right, so they tried Janet.
[00:46:15] Speaker A: Who else? Hold on now.
[00:46:17] Speaker B: Who?
[00:46:17] Speaker A: Hold on. Let's see.
Let's bring it old school.
How old? Earth went and fire them.
[00:46:24] Speaker B: Well, they might could, but maybe earth
[00:46:26] Speaker A: and fire ain't there no more.
[00:46:34] Speaker B: Fire can't make the wind. Mike. Mike could do something.
[00:46:37] Speaker A: The Isley Brothers. Anybody?
[00:46:38] Speaker B: No, man. I just saw a clip of Ron Isley going on the stage. It's bad, ain't it? What?
[00:46:43] Speaker A: Bro, it's like. What's her name?
[00:46:45] Speaker B: Gladys Knight. Just like it was. Glad Gladys? Yeah, his look worse than Gladys Knight. Cause at least she didn't have help walking up there.
[00:46:53] Speaker A: They sat him down.
The one I seen, they had to sit him down.
Okay, that was a Strong.
That nigga been working on that one.
[00:47:04] Speaker B: He sound just. He. He sounds just like himself, though.
[00:47:07] Speaker A: What's that comedian that be doing it?
Who be doing. It's not Arnaz. It's Start with an Aery Spears. No, not airy. Yeah, he does the whole.
[00:47:19] Speaker B: He do a whole.
[00:47:20] Speaker A: He do the damn. The guitar and everything.
[00:47:24] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know. Maybe. I know. I don't know.
[00:47:26] Speaker A: He's good.
[00:47:27] Speaker B: But. Yeah, it could be some. I don't. Listen, the only reason why I don't want him. I really don't want nobody black to be on there right now because I just get tired of all the hate from the people that don't.
[00:47:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:47:43] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? And then they like hating and they don't even got no answer. Like, even if. Like, Taylor Swift did it. Yeah, they would hate on Taylor Swift. Like, who do you want?
[00:47:53] Speaker A: Hey, you know who they could have did that might have been Did. Oh, no, she did it before Missy Elliott.
[00:47:59] Speaker B: Yeah, she was on with. Yeah, she was on Nelly for top. No, I think she did it when she was on with Shakira. She came out with something. No, Lady Gaga. She came out when Lady Gaga did hers.
[00:48:10] Speaker A: I think Pharrell could have did it.
[00:48:12] Speaker B: Pharrell?
[00:48:13] Speaker A: No, Pharrell probably gonna be there.
[00:48:15] Speaker B: Of course he gonna.
[00:48:16] Speaker A: He gonna bring him out.
[00:48:17] Speaker B: He ain't gonna be there by himself now. He'll just be whole.
[00:48:19] Speaker A: Yeah, he might bring him out.
[00:48:20] Speaker B: Cause you gotta run on the stage and do all of this and that.
[00:48:22] Speaker A: You know what they do?
Like, I saw with. I don't know if it was the Kendrick Lamar one, but, like, they'll pan in the crowds and you see the white folks just kind of, like, turning around, ain't even paying attention no more. Yeah, but when the other rock stars. Everybody supposed to be enjoying it. Like, you don't see none of those kind of shots.
[00:48:43] Speaker B: Oh, when they supposed to be enjoying it? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Cause it kind of like.
Yeah. Like propaganda type shit.
[00:48:50] Speaker A: You see people kind of, like, start walking to the concession stands and you like other artists. They don't show none of that.
[00:48:57] Speaker B: They only been showing it with the latest artists.
[00:49:00] Speaker A: The latest artist.
[00:49:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I get what you're saying.
[00:49:02] Speaker A: I've been seeing that.
[00:49:03] Speaker B: I get what you're saying.
[00:49:03] Speaker A: But there you go, High star. I know you listening.
[00:49:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:08] Speaker A: Give us three people that they should bring up.
[00:49:11] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. Yeah, three. Who y' all think should come? Like.
[00:49:16] Speaker A: And you know what?
[00:49:16] Speaker B: That hasn't came because Kanye been there before. People Some people probably say Kanye, but he. He's been on there before.
[00:49:23] Speaker A: He was.
[00:49:24] Speaker B: He came out with Rihanna, I think the weird Kanye. Did he come out with Rihanna?
Did she do the whole show by herself?
[00:49:31] Speaker A: Oh, but that'll never happen. I forgot. Jay Z is like, nah, he won't.
[00:49:34] Speaker B: Yeah, Kanye done.
[00:49:35] Speaker A: Yeah, he burned that bridge and the boat that goes across that same water.
[00:49:40] Speaker B: Speaking of hostile, he sent us an email.
[00:49:44] Speaker A: Let's get into it, though.
[00:49:45] Speaker B: He says, you're.
What up, y'? All? What's happening?
Happy homecoming, South Carolina State.
Be easy. Did you partake in any festivities? Nah, man, I had to work.
[00:49:55] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:49:57] Speaker B: He said, I watched the game on. On tv, ESPN plus, and who do I hear but none other than Big Cliff, voice over the speaker announcing the game. Oh, words a lot to be salute to Big Cliff. Yeah, he's the announcer for South Carolina State.
[00:50:09] Speaker A: Oh, word.
[00:50:12] Speaker B: He said snowfall still popping ill. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Abbott after you. After watching an episode.
[00:50:19] Speaker A: No, no, I don't. I didn't not watch it. I do watch it every once in a while.
[00:50:23] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Well, what are your thoughts?
[00:50:25] Speaker A: It's a good show, but not a top.
I don't think it. What we said what we said the other day. That it was.
[00:50:34] Speaker B: I said.
[00:50:34] Speaker A: You said number one.
[00:50:35] Speaker B: No, I didn't say number one. I said it's top five.
[00:50:38] Speaker A: Top five?
[00:50:39] Speaker B: Yeah. I said it's top five dot Yeah.
[00:50:41] Speaker A: I couldn't put it in the five, though. We had too many Old school.
[00:50:44] Speaker B: There you go, thinking old school is the best school.
[00:50:47] Speaker A: No, I'm just saying old school was like a different breed of sitcom.
It's a different breed. I think Sanford and Son was like the Jeffersons.
[00:50:58] Speaker B: The Jeffersons was good, but I don't know if the. I don't know.
[00:51:03] Speaker A: That nigga George, he went down to the dry cleaner and n breaking in.
[00:51:08] Speaker B: How many. Like, I think some of the shows now, like, the writing, like, they pull from so much stuff. Like they pull from, like, stuff that we actually doing too, as regular people. Like some of the trends on social media, stuff like that. Like, they using that same language and all kind of stuff like that. It's like more, I guess, worldly or whatever. Whereas, like, back in the day, it would be stuff like that would only be mostly regional type stuff. So, like, if you didn't know about it, you didn't know. But I mean, it's still the same. I don't know.
[00:51:42] Speaker A: Think so.
[00:51:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:44] Speaker A: Like, I don't know, like, some of those shows, it's not really regional, but.
[00:51:50] Speaker B: No, you know what?
[00:51:51] Speaker A: Like, regional, but it's. It's.
You can.
You can adapt to it. Like, you can. You can. Basically, you could see some of that stuff happening.
[00:52:03] Speaker B: No, no, I'm saying, like, say like a show like Abbott elementary, they'll talk about something that recently, like, everybody in the world been talking about it. Everybody in the culture been talking about. Okay. You know what I'm saying? As opposed to back. Like back then.
[00:52:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:52:20] Speaker B: Something might happen.
They might have to touch. They won't be able to touch on it because they really can't record as quick and put it out as quick.
[00:52:27] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:52:28] Speaker B: That type of thing. Like, you know what I'm saying? That's the difference. That's what I mean. But.
[00:52:31] Speaker A: And that damn sitcom was damn, what? 20 episode long a season was 21. 20 episodes long.
[00:52:36] Speaker B: 20 episodes long back then. Yeah.
He says mockumentary is the style of format of Avid and the Office and shit is shot ass.
[00:52:44] Speaker A: Oh, okay. I knew it was a word.
[00:52:49] Speaker B: He says be easy. Thank you for the email, my brother. Yeah, I emailed his show. Okay.
[00:52:53] Speaker A: What show is that?
[00:52:54] Speaker B: Mandatory overtime.
[00:52:55] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:52:56] Speaker B: Talking to myself for an hour and recording it for the past year has been an experience. Appreciate y' all support. And mandatory overtime. Of mandatory overtime. Have a good show. Peace. Yeah. Doing a show by yourself is weird because it just feel like you talking to yourself and you recording.
[00:53:12] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:53:12] Speaker B: But listening to somebody talk do a show by themselves, it feel like they talking to you.
[00:53:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:53:17] Speaker B: Like. You know what I'm saying? But as you doing it, man, it's just hard.
[00:53:21] Speaker A: It is. You know what? I think it was during COVID Nah, it might have been, you know. Yeah, it was during COVID You tried
[00:53:27] Speaker B: to do one by yourself.
[00:53:28] Speaker A: Yeah, I used to do the Digital Studios podcast solo. Yeah. But you know what? I would have.
I would interview people, like somebody I might know from wherever.
And that's the only way I think I was able to keep it going.
[00:53:44] Speaker B: I've done maybe three episodes by myself. Cause co hosts couldn't come or. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? And I just was like, yeah, we gotta get a show out.
[00:53:54] Speaker A: So.
[00:53:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it's tough. It feels weird.
[00:53:57] Speaker A: I just looked at the one you did. Not recently, but a couple months ago. A couple months ago. And the numbers are still up there with the same other numbers.
[00:54:05] Speaker B: Yeah. It's just tough. Some people gonna watch a listen just to watch a listen.
[00:54:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:54:11] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? But on some of Them shows, I ain't pulling it. I ain't saying nothing too super extra. Cause like, with me, I'm kind of like a counterpuncher. You know what I'm saying? Like, I can go off of what you say.
[00:54:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:54:23] Speaker B: And then I can come back with something like. And it'll make me think a little more than just on my own. Because I'm a simple minded person. I'm just.
I'm simple. Jack.
[00:54:34] Speaker A: Old folks used to say instead of saying he retarded or something like that.
[00:54:38] Speaker B: Yeah, he's simple.
[00:54:38] Speaker A: He's simple.
[00:54:39] Speaker B: Yep. Simple.
Yeah. Thank you. Hostile. If y' all want to email us. DJ Blaze show mail dot com.
I meant to talk about this the other week.
What was going on with Diddy?
I think something happened recently again. Like he got moved to a prison.
[00:54:57] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:54:57] Speaker B: But last week, a week before last, he was.
He got a head injury.
[00:55:06] Speaker A: Yeah, we talked about that.
[00:55:07] Speaker B: We did, yeah.
[00:55:08] Speaker A: Do this or whatever that guy name. He got into it with him. Yeah, we talked about it.
[00:55:12] Speaker B: We did. You sure?
[00:55:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause then they was wondering, why is he in that same prison? Dewis.
[00:55:18] Speaker B: Him and Duddis.
[00:55:18] Speaker A: Duddis in that same prison?
[00:55:20] Speaker B: Yeah, Dudis, he was.
Cause we were named Christopher Koch. He was the leader of the Shower Posse.
[00:55:25] Speaker A: Yeah, we talked about that.
[00:55:26] Speaker B: I don't remember talking about it. I promise you.
[00:55:28] Speaker A: I don't not less. I'm kind of throwed off from talking about it off air.
[00:55:34] Speaker B: We talked about it off mic, like
[00:55:35] Speaker A: we was getting ready to.
[00:55:36] Speaker B: Yeah, but we didn't talk about it on the show.
Yeah.
[00:55:39] Speaker A: Nah, I think we did.
[00:55:41] Speaker B: I'm 100% sure we did. Cause when we left, I was like, man, we forgot to talk about Diddy. Oh, word. Yeah. Damn. But yeah, he got a head injury. They fought. He said they got into it before, but I heard somebody say, like Diddy was like. When Diddy came in with all the money he got. Cause he was having people do stuff for him. He was getting phones and devices and stuff like that. He kind of messed up the ecosystem in the jail.
[00:56:03] Speaker A: Yeah, I heard that too. So don't.
[00:56:04] Speaker B: Juddis was like, yo, you. You know what I'm saying? And they went at it. But to be so big or bold enough or whatever to go against a. From the Shower Posse.
[00:56:18] Speaker A: Nah, but they say he different. He's.
His father was the known Shower Posse. He's just a. It's like J. Prince and J. Prince Jr situation.
[00:56:30] Speaker B: So Dud is one. But he got 25 years.
[00:56:33] Speaker A: He got the name, but he Wasn't like his daddy.
[00:56:35] Speaker B: Oh, his daddy was that dude?
[00:56:37] Speaker A: Yeah. One of those. Yeah.
[00:56:38] Speaker B: Do you know why they call him the shower Posse?
[00:56:40] Speaker A: Why? Because they come and wet things up with the machine guns.
[00:56:43] Speaker B: Said that they shoot so many bullets that it looked like it was raining.
[00:56:47] Speaker A: Rain? Yeah, same thing.
[00:56:50] Speaker B: Yeah. You say wet things up, I understand.
[00:56:52] Speaker A: Yeah, it was crazy. Back in the day. I think the best Shower Posse, possibly. Possibly meaning movie is marked for death.
[00:57:02] Speaker B: Oh, they had. Supposed to be.
[00:57:04] Speaker A: They had the Jamaicans.
[00:57:06] Speaker B: Oh, that's supposed to be the Shia posse.
[00:57:07] Speaker A: Supposed to be the Shadow posse. Yeah.
Screw face.
[00:57:11] Speaker B: I never saw that movie.
[00:57:12] Speaker A: You for real?
[00:57:13] Speaker B: Uh huh.
This is a story that kind of went viral and this happened in the city I used to live in.
I got a question. Okay. You wanna do something in your house, maybe edit something or do something with some, you know, whatever you like to do as far as, like your hobby in your house and you wanna get away from your wife to do it in solitude, what would you do? Would you tell her, hey, I'm, you know, breaking off or whatever or. How would you get away from your wife for a little while in the house? You ain't going nowhere.
[00:57:46] Speaker A: Nah, just go upstairs and stuff.
[00:57:47] Speaker B: You just go upstairs?
[00:57:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
Or go downstairs and just start.
[00:57:51] Speaker B: Well, this man in Richmond, he was arrested and charged with abduction after allegedly tying his wife to a chair in the basement of their home.
And he did so. So he could go upstairs and watch football.
[00:58:02] Speaker A: Talk about, I got some friends coming in. You stay down here.
[00:58:06] Speaker B: Nah, he just wanted to go upstairs and watch football. Quietly.
[00:58:09] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:58:09] Speaker B: Yeah, the police said that.
The police said when I arrived on scene, he stated that her husband. And they didn't put her name, but she stated that her husband had tied her to a chair with tape in the basement.
[00:58:25] Speaker A: That doesn't sound like something. Surprisingly for that couple. That sound like the police know that house.
This can't be the first time anything crazy happened at the house.
[00:58:35] Speaker B: The police officer said Terry stated that he did indeed tie his wife to a chair and place her down in the basement.
[00:58:45] Speaker A: Yeah. And they old and they possibly Caucasian.
[00:58:50] Speaker B: They ain't that old. They are Caucasian. Yeah, they 64.
[00:58:54] Speaker A: They drink too.
[00:58:55] Speaker B: She told police she was restrained for between. Restrained for between 30 and 45 minutes. I mean, sometimes.
[00:59:03] Speaker A: Why did he have time? Like he wasn't trying to finish the game?
[00:59:05] Speaker B: Maybe he got a. Maybe he just wanted to see one quarter.
[00:59:09] Speaker A: Maybe she was too loud.
[00:59:10] Speaker B: Yeah,
[00:59:13] Speaker A: Joanne, I'm gonna come down there.
[00:59:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Sometimes you just gotta tie a bitch up sometimes. Shut up. Bitch, you keep talking. I'm trying to watch the Steelers.
[00:59:26] Speaker A: He's stomping on the floor.
[00:59:28] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:59:28] Speaker A: Shut up down there.
[00:59:29] Speaker B: Well, she keep coming in, aggravating him,
[00:59:32] Speaker A: talking about, I gotta go to the bathroom.
[00:59:33] Speaker B: Yeah, she did.
I thought that was.
[00:59:38] Speaker A: That's crazy kind of funny.
[00:59:44] Speaker B: Let's see what else happened this week.
[00:59:46] Speaker A: What you got, buddy?
[00:59:49] Speaker B: As far as, like, news like that, I ain't really had nothing. It's a tragic. We might talk about this next week. Was a tragedy happened around here.
I'm sure we get more answers by the end of the week, but just happened yesterday on our side of town, too.
Crazy shooting. It was shooting across from your house this week too. Just shooting, man.
[01:00:07] Speaker A: Yeah, it was. It was. It was real close.
[01:00:09] Speaker B: Like, hey, man, y' all out here with this road rage and all kind of stuff, man, be careful, because these people crazy. They would shoot your ass.
[01:00:15] Speaker A: They still ain't find the guy either.
[01:00:16] Speaker B: Who? Oh, for real?
[01:00:18] Speaker A: Yeah, man, you know, I had to.
That morning. I had to go and like, walk my perimeter and clear the area.
[01:00:25] Speaker B: You. You know, I thought you was gonna say you went and bought another gun, but you don't need no more guns, man. You wanna sell a gun? You don't got nothing you wanna sell?
Nope. Like a little small handgun or something?
[01:00:36] Speaker D: Nope.
[01:00:37] Speaker B: Oh, I guess I go to Palmetto State Armory.
[01:00:41] Speaker A: Palmetto State Armor, they got some cheap stuff.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: I need a.
[01:00:44] Speaker A: Something in your pocket.
[01:00:45] Speaker B: Nah, I keep the Big John. Fuck it.
[01:00:47] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:00:48] Speaker B: I need a AK or something like that.
[01:00:50] Speaker A: I want an ak. I ain't got an ak. I got a lot of things where I don't have AK.
[01:00:54] Speaker B: I want an AK and like a.
Some.50 cal.
[01:00:59] Speaker A: Yeah, that 50 cal. That's when that price go up. Yeah, it was one time. I was going to get something. A.50 cal Desert Eagle handgun. Yeah, it had a nick on it.
So, you know, a lot of times they'll have a nick and they'll, you know, drop the price.
Well, the guy was kind of nasty already. Yeah, the gun was. Damn. 1900 hours, the tax would have been like 22 something, 23.
So I'm like, hey, you know, can you take a little bit off? No, I'm like, oh, snap. You didn't even go ask the manager or nothing. This is at Palmetto State Armory, too.
[01:01:30] Speaker C: Oh.
[01:01:31] Speaker A: So after that, I haven't looked at any.
[01:01:33] Speaker B: That was the one here?
[01:01:34] Speaker A: No, that was the one in Columbia.
Myrtle Beach.
[01:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah. The guys here, pretty nice.
[01:01:41] Speaker A: Yeah, they are everywhere else too. Like, even after that, you know, I. I Just that guy. He was. It was. He was off that day.
[01:01:50] Speaker B: I don't like it.
I guess it's time for this.

[01:02:32] Speaker A: What we got?
[01:02:33] Speaker B: So I got three frauds.
One is a Georgia Instagram star indicted.
[01:02:41] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:02:42] Speaker B: Another one is Caesar from Black Ink. Nope, that used to be with DJ Envy.
[01:02:49] Speaker A: I don't know him.
[01:02:51] Speaker B: Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[01:02:52] Speaker A: The house. The house fraud guy.
[01:02:54] Speaker B: And then I got five women with insurance fraud.
Ah.
[01:02:59] Speaker A: It's either that Instagram one or the five women.
Let's go with the Instagram guy.
[01:03:05] Speaker B: All right, we'll go with Instagram.
[01:03:06] Speaker A: Might be able to go get a little viral moment.
[01:03:08] Speaker B: And I just want to let y' all know, that was not me fighting at the Knicks game.
[01:03:13] Speaker A: Oh, man, I meant to bring that up to you, man.
[01:03:15] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw that.
[01:03:16] Speaker A: Just to be. Be clear. Be clear. So what do you think? Before you start, what do you think? Should he threw a half a punch or something, act like he was gonna throw a punch?
[01:03:26] Speaker B: That nigga. How old is flex? Like 55?
[01:03:28] Speaker A: 60. No, he gotta be like 60. 60 plus.
[01:03:31] Speaker B: Yeah, 55 or 60.
[01:03:34] Speaker A: What that mean?
[01:03:35] Speaker B: No, don't fight. You too old.
[01:03:37] Speaker A: Oh, hell no.
[01:03:38] Speaker B: He too old to fight. And that the other dude, younger and way bigger.
[01:03:41] Speaker A: He almost was gonna put a knuckle sandwich on Flex's face.
[01:03:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause he was. Flex used to say shit about his old lady.
[01:03:47] Speaker A: He used to put hands on it too.
[01:03:49] Speaker B: That's what I saw, too. Yeah.
[01:03:50] Speaker A: Yep. So who cares?
[01:03:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:54] Speaker A: Which one you gonna go with about
[01:03:56] Speaker D: private jets and Rolls Royces and even set money on fire? Now federal prosecutors say an Atlanta rapper known as the Shoddy Dredd stole more than $4 million in nutritional assistance food stamp benefits meant for struggling families. He is one of more than 40 defendants targeted in nationwide fraud crackdown led by Vice President J.D. vance. Newsmax correspondent Christina Thompson is live in studio with more Christina. Well, it is just so disappointing to hear. The Department of justice says a seven week enforcement surge uncovered nearly $42 million in alleged SNAP fraud benefits across 13 federal districts. Prosecutors say 39 year old Mercedes Richard New, known online as Shoddy Dredd, controlled more than 350 SNAP accounts created with stolen identities. More than 500 EBT cards were eventually linked back to him.
[01:04:48] Speaker A: How do you get that much money?
[01:04:50] Speaker B: $1 million.
[01:04:50] Speaker C: Hold on.
[01:04:51] Speaker A: $1 million.
[01:04:54] Speaker D: So officials played that social media video during their announcement in Snake, Cincinnati. When they talked about the arrest, they said New had fraudulent EBT cards mailed to addresses around Atlanta, then allegedly sold them for cash or ran them through his own SNAP authorized business.
[01:05:12] Speaker B: Dang.
[01:05:13] Speaker C: SNAP exists to help hungry children eat.
[01:05:16] Speaker A: It does not exist.
[01:05:18] Speaker B: Him.
[01:05:18] Speaker A: Dang.
4.4 million.
[01:05:22] Speaker B: No, 4 point.
4.4.
[01:05:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:05:26] Speaker B: Oh, so the task force got $42 million in snap fraud.
[01:05:29] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[01:05:30] Speaker B: But he got 4.4.
[01:05:32] Speaker A: That's. What's that, right?
[01:05:34] Speaker B: No, well, I see 4.6.
[01:05:37] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[01:05:38] Speaker B: But I guess the total. Yeah, the number could be.
[01:05:41] Speaker A: Yeah, that's crazy.
[01:05:43] Speaker B: Yep. He only got four. But they got 442 million. So they looking for some more people or whatever.
[01:05:49] Speaker A: But yeah, what he said 40 people.
[01:05:51] Speaker B: Yeah, I think so.
[01:05:52] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[01:05:54] Speaker B: But you doing that kind of stuff. Why you flaunting it that way? It's.
I don't know. It's them. Well, I would. He ain't even a white hand. This 39, man.
[01:06:06] Speaker A: If from Atlanta, East Atlanta.
[01:06:09] Speaker B: Atlanta. Yeah.
[01:06:11] Speaker A: Atlanta is real flashy. Guys like to be real flashy.
[01:06:14] Speaker B: They are. And it.
They.
A lot of those people that be on the scene like that, they be faking, man. They don't really have it like that. It just be for show.
It just be for sure. That's a for sure city.
[01:06:27] Speaker A: Yep, yep.
[01:06:28] Speaker B: A lot of places. I ain't gonna say a lot, but some places where like people really have it, it's just different.
And Atlanta is not one of them places.
[01:06:38] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[01:06:38] Speaker B: Especially since me, Janelle went away.
[01:06:40] Speaker A: That's a lot of money for them. Snap.
[01:06:43] Speaker B: 4 million. But say he had 350 fake snap accounts.
[01:06:50] Speaker A: How he got somebody inside and something. They just making up fake names.
[01:06:56] Speaker B: Nah, but them young boys, they really be.

[01:07:01] Speaker A: You could buy the Method.
[01:07:03] Speaker B: Yeah, you can.
[01:07:04] Speaker A: On like a black dark whale or something. Yeah, you could buy a method or find somebody to teach you methods.
[01:07:09] Speaker B: It's some people.
[01:07:10] Speaker A: For a fee.
[01:07:11] Speaker B: Is some people their job, Meaning they do this all day, every day, is try to find schemes and scams.
