[00:00:02] Speaker A: Gossip, music, news, entertainment, and heated discussions. The DJ Blaze Radio show starts now. Yo, welcome back to another episode of the DJ Blaze Radio show podcast. It's your boy Be Easy. [00:00:38] Speaker B: This your boy, Al. [00:00:39] Speaker A: And we are back. Yep, yep. For another week of whatever, you know, we're gonna talk about what we're gonna talk about. [00:00:44] Speaker B: Yes, yes. [00:00:45] Speaker A: You can find us everywhere. You get your podcast for free. 99L. Yo, how you doing? [00:00:50] Speaker B: Chilling, man. How you? [00:00:52] Speaker A: Can't complain. I'm here. [00:00:53] Speaker B: What you been up to this week? [00:00:55] Speaker A: Nothing but a lot of work. That's it. A lot of work. Yeah, I see the temperature drop a little bit, so I'm happy about that. It's football season, so. I love football weather, man. Hoodie season. [00:01:06] Speaker B: Hoodie season. [00:01:07] Speaker A: I got a lot of coats. I want to wear my coats. You know what I'm saying? [00:01:10] Speaker B: You like, you like the colder days or you like hotter days? [00:01:14] Speaker A: Definitely colder. [00:01:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I think I am. [00:01:16] Speaker A: I like cold. [00:01:17] Speaker B: You can always do the layers. [00:01:19] Speaker A: Yep, you can do layers. [00:01:20] Speaker B: Sometimes if you don't have the right shirt, you can cover it up. A little jacket on a hoodie. Hoodie on it. [00:01:25] Speaker A: Yeah, that's it. That's it. Yeah. [00:01:28] Speaker B: It's method to it. [00:01:29] Speaker A: It's a method to it, I think. Yeah. Yeah, I guess we get right into it. We had a couple emails. [00:01:36] Speaker B: Okay. [00:01:38] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it's one thing I did forget to do, but yeah, we got. Well, we got one email from the homie, my boy, Edy Mo. [00:01:46] Speaker B: Okay. [00:01:48] Speaker A: And it was about his. Well, you know, last week we were talking about sitcoms and stuff like that. [00:01:54] Speaker B: Oh, shoot. [00:01:55] Speaker A: So he just gave his. [00:01:56] Speaker B: His five. [00:01:57] Speaker A: Well, he gave a list of 10 sitcoms. [00:02:01] Speaker B: Is it in order, though? He got number one is such and such. [00:02:04] Speaker A: Well, I'm gonna go 10 through. It's a pretty solid list. You know, it's a black ass list. [00:02:10] Speaker B: Yeah, but give me five, don't give me 10. [00:02:12] Speaker A: I mean, we ain't gonna talk about it. I'm just reading them off. It's gonna be quick. [00:02:14] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:02:15] Speaker A: 10 was blackish. 9 was friends. 8 was Seinfeld. 7 was 227. [00:02:22] Speaker B: That was a good one. [00:02:23] Speaker A: That's a good one. Yeah, that's a black ass show. I don't think no white people know about 227. [00:02:27] Speaker B: I don't think so either. Especially the time it came on. [00:02:29] Speaker A: It came on like in the 80s, right? [00:02:31] Speaker B: Yeah, it came in the 80s. It came on like 9, 10 o' clock at night or something like that. [00:02:35] Speaker A: I don't know what time it Used to come on live. [00:02:37] Speaker B: Yeah, that shit used to come on late at night. [00:02:39] Speaker A: His number six was one that made me think the Simpsons. His number six. [00:02:45] Speaker B: What it made you think? [00:02:47] Speaker A: Because it's a cartoon. And I really don't think about cartoons as Simpson sitcoms like that. But if you go that route, you can say Family Guy, American Dad. [00:02:57] Speaker B: So I think Rick and Morty, like, if you put in, like top sitcoms on like, Google and stuff like that, [00:03:03] Speaker A: Simpsons be number one. [00:03:04] Speaker B: They do come up. [00:03:05] Speaker A: Yeah, they come up number one. Martin was number five for him. Fresh Prince number four, A Different World number three, Good Times number two, and the Cosby show number one. That's a solid list. [00:03:16] Speaker B: He like Good Times a lot of people. I like Good Times, Eddie. [00:03:22] Speaker A: I should know where that's from. [00:03:23] Speaker B: I like Good Times, Eddie. Why'd you. Why'd you punch Jimmy? Walk in the lips, Eddie. [00:03:28] Speaker A: Oh, that's the black guy. That's the black guy, right? [00:03:31] Speaker B: No. Yeah, he's a black guy. [00:03:33] Speaker A: The guy he played. What? [00:03:36] Speaker B: That's supposed to be Eddie Murphy's father from Raw. [00:03:42] Speaker A: Oh. Oh, okay. My bad. Yeah, I ain't never really watched RAW like that. [00:03:46] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:03:46] Speaker A: Not the whole thing. [00:03:47] Speaker B: Yeah, that's when he was talking about his pops. [00:03:50] Speaker A: Nah. So that made me think, and I had to think about my favorite sitcoms. My list kind of changes, though. Cause there's some shows that's like, newer, but I love them shows. And a lot of times sitcoms, I won't go and try to watch it myself. If it comes on, I might watch some of them. But as far as, like, going on Netflix or Hulu and watching an old show, there's only a couple that I do that with. [00:04:17] Speaker B: So sitcoms, like you said, is comedy TV shows. [00:04:23] Speaker A: It's a situational comedy as a sitcom. So comedy TV show. So I guess the Office would be considered a sitcom even though it's like that one camera thing. [00:04:33] Speaker B: Yeah, camera don't matter. I guess. [00:04:35] Speaker A: I guess. Yeah. Cause black ish like that too. But they call them kind of shows like the Office. Oh, they do elementary. What's that other show? Parks and Recreation. Yeah, all of them. They call. It's like a fake documentary type show or something like that. [00:04:52] Speaker B: Yeah, you. You right. They do call it something else. [00:04:55] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. You want me to. We ain't really bringing back our list, per se, but this is our list. Cause this made me think of just some stuff or whatever. Like what? What really is my favorite ones. I got six, though. [00:05:14] Speaker B: Why? If it's top Five. [00:05:16] Speaker A: Because I got an honorable mention. [00:05:18] Speaker B: Now you got to. [00:05:18] Speaker A: You got to interchangeable. [00:05:20] Speaker B: You got to chalk it. One of them got to get chalk. That's like me saying, oh, my top three. And then I give you five freaking people extra ones. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Okay. In no particular order. My favorites mean, like, I watch them the most. I'll probably do rewatches and all of that. [00:05:36] Speaker B: So now this is. Of all times. [00:05:39] Speaker A: This is my personal favorite of all time. Yeah. [00:05:42] Speaker B: Okay, go ahead. [00:05:42] Speaker A: Yeah, my personal favorite. No cartoons, though. [00:05:45] Speaker B: Okay? [00:05:45] Speaker A: I ain't got no cartoons in here. Atlanta. I watched that like three times. [00:05:51] Speaker B: That's a strong one. [00:05:52] Speaker A: Abbott elementary, that's your number one, man. It's one of my favorites right now. Because you fought. [00:05:59] Speaker B: You fought with me a couple of weeks ago. [00:06:01] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Abbott elementary. Top five. Top five, period. [00:06:04] Speaker B: You said it's the best show ever. [00:06:06] Speaker A: No, I did. I never said. I said it's the best show out right now. I never said. I don't think I said ever. [00:06:11] Speaker B: Oh, I might have to go back. [00:06:12] Speaker A: Yeah, we gotta go back and listen. [00:06:13] Speaker B: Everybody go back and listen. [00:06:15] Speaker A: I don't think I say. I say out right now. The top. The best show right now. [00:06:19] Speaker B: Let's get the views out. Everybody go back and watch. Watch the show one more time. [00:06:22] Speaker A: See if I have said that anywhere. Somebody please let me know if I did. I didn't mean ever. Cause. Okay, I can't really say ever. Cause it's like I've watched the Cosby Show. I know a lot of Cosby show, but it just. When it came out, I was so young and I didn't feel like that was my show. I felt like that was like my parents show. Cause they loved that show. [00:06:49] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:06:49] Speaker A: They were like younger than me when that show came out. Younger than, you know, our ages now. And that was their show. I'm talking about that. My step. My step pops had tapes and tapes and tapes. [00:07:01] Speaker B: So that was a Martin to somebody of our age. [00:07:05] Speaker A: Not. I don't even know. Cause even like. Like I remember my cousin, his mom would watch Martin. You know what I'm saying? So I. For a lot of people, Martin is just Martin and the Cosby show is just the Cosby Show. [00:07:23] Speaker B: I don't know. A lot of people put Martin first, like, over everything, like. And I don't know if it's. Cause it's the name. The name brand is up there. It wasn't like a. You can't. Well, a lot of people could watch it now, but I can't really watch it. [00:07:40] Speaker A: Now, certain episodes I can watch. Yeah, exactly like that. Like, you know, they do reruns of shows or whatever. If that's. If Martin come on. I ain't really. I really don't watch it. Fresh Prince. I used to watch it, you know, back in the day or whatever. And, you know, I enjoyed it and all of that. But if Fresh Prince come on now, I'll start watching it and I'll turn it. Like I can't. I don't know why. [00:08:08] Speaker B: All right, go ahead. [00:08:10] Speaker A: Let's say Atlanta, Abbott Elementary, Blackish, Curb youb Enthusiasm. [00:08:15] Speaker B: That's on my list. [00:08:16] Speaker A: It's one of my favorites. [00:08:17] Speaker B: It's on my list. I was. I was glad you said. I'm glad you said that because I just knew what. You were gonna shoot it down because. [00:08:25] Speaker A: No, Kirby's Amazing. [00:08:26] Speaker B: Because of hbo. [00:08:28] Speaker A: No, Curb is amazing. It's a sitcom. [00:08:30] Speaker B: Gotcha. [00:08:30] Speaker A: And I was looking at a list too, of sitcoms, and they had Curb. Cause I was kind of like, I wanted. Do they consider that a sitcom? Because it's kind of like improv a little bit or whatever. But, yeah. Do I want to go this one? [00:08:43] Speaker B: You got one more, right? [00:08:44] Speaker A: Yeah, I got one more. [00:08:48] Speaker B: So is this number one? [00:08:50] Speaker A: No, this is. This ain't in no order. I just gave, you know, the five or whatever. Okay. It's between. I can't. Ain't gonna do that. I'm gonna give you the fifth and I'm gonna say. And this was only rewatchability. [00:09:09] Speaker C: God. [00:09:10] Speaker A: Dawg, These too. Even to me, man. I'm gonna just say Wayne's Brothers, man. I'm gonna just say Wayne's Brothers. [00:09:15] Speaker B: Well, if you gave me that. Give me the next one. Give me the other one. [00:09:17] Speaker A: The other one was Jamie Foxx. [00:09:20] Speaker B: They close. They almost the same. But I give Wayne's Brothers over Jamie Foxx. [00:09:25] Speaker A: I give. It's. Cause, like, it's certain things on Jamie Foxx show. Like the Mark Curry episode that was a classic. When they were. [00:09:38] Speaker B: The jingles. [00:09:39] Speaker A: The Jingles 2000. When there was plain white rice. See how it Boils that episod. But then on the Wayans Brothers With My Love go bang bang, bang, bang, bang. You better run for cover. Yep. What else? All of that, man. It's a lot of. A lot of, like, episodes on that. On the Wayans. Cause the Wayans Brothers used to come on every day at a certain point in my life when I was like working nights or whatever. So it would be on at like 2 o' clock in the afternoon. And I would watch it every day. Jamie Foxx, too, used to come on BET every day. So I kind of like feel, you know, got an appreciation for them after they were coming out live. But you know, Osmo vacuums make you say yitty ditty. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? But yeah, they're my five favorite sitcoms of all time in no particular order. [00:10:40] Speaker B: Okay. [00:10:40] Speaker A: And my team, my top 10 and 20, I got a lot of them on there too. But anyway, what's your. [00:10:46] Speaker B: Now these are ones that came to mind first. [00:10:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:49] Speaker B: So it's no particular order. Also the Jeffersons, Fresh Prince Kirby enthusiasm. [00:10:58] Speaker A: You said Jefferson's Fresh Prince, Kirby enthusiasm. Okay. [00:11:01] Speaker B: The Cosbys and Sanford and Son. [00:11:04] Speaker A: See, yours comes from an era when [00:11:08] Speaker B: I was growing up. [00:11:08] Speaker A: Growing up. And I feel like them shows give you some nostalgia or whatever. [00:11:13] Speaker B: Yeah. And you know what? At the time, there was nothing else really to watch. You only had a certain amount of channels. [00:11:20] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. But a lot of, A lot of those shows back then, it was sitcom heavy. Yeah. [00:11:27] Speaker B: I think a lot like the Jeffersons and. The Jeffersons and Sanford and Son, they're like the same era. So I was watching those around the same time. [00:11:41] Speaker A: Yeah. But I mean, even like when it's a Jefferson and a Good Times. Well, Jefferson and San Fran and Son or whatever, it was like there was some white sitcoms that. That was just out. It was like a lot of like that type of TV out. Like now you got some of everything out. You might have like a Hawaii 50 back then or something. But like, like you said, it was only a few channels. [00:12:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:03] Speaker A: Everybody ain't had cable. So the heat. The heat was on abc, CBS and NBC. You know what I'm saying? Back then. [00:12:10] Speaker B: So I wonder what channel did dag out. I wish I remember what channel the Jeffersons came on. I think channel 7 or 11. [00:12:21] Speaker A: I mean, which is ABC. Might be CBS. [00:12:26] Speaker B: Nah, it's neither one of those. [00:12:28] Speaker A: It gotta be one of those. [00:12:29] Speaker B: It's almost like the wb. [00:12:33] Speaker A: But you mean locally. But nationally. [00:12:35] Speaker B: Yeah, nationally it wasn't. It might be CBS. [00:12:41] Speaker A: We got the Google. [00:12:42] Speaker B: CBS was Channel 2, though. NBC, ABC. NBC was the Cosbys. [00:12:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:12:54] Speaker B: So it didn't come on. It didn't come on the same channel [00:12:58] Speaker A: as those it add on. CBS. CBS, yeah. The Jefferson's ad on CBS. [00:13:03] Speaker B: Okay. [00:13:04] Speaker A: From 75 to 85. So from the. You know what I'm saying? Like, I wouldn't care about that when I was 4 years old. And then everything after that that I could remember was reruns. [00:13:18] Speaker B: See, I cared about it because there's nothing else. Cause, like. All right, so say seven o'. [00:13:24] Speaker A: Clock. [00:13:25] Speaker B: Seven o', clock, all the news is on. And then it'll be the Jeffersons. So guess what? You watching? [00:13:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's on, but like I said, I'm talking about for me now. Yeah, that's true, but I'm saying it's on, but that ain't my. It's just on. I might, like. Like, you go to your grandma house in the middle of the day and walk a Texas Ranger on tnt, a TBS or whatever. Like, it's on, you know, Eat some wax. It was a walk episode on the other day, man. They had it playing at work and in the back in, like, the service department or whatever. And I went back there and this Walker, this woman and this dude, and they beat these gangsters up with karate, with slow karate kicks. [00:14:00] Speaker B: What kind of gangsters? [00:14:02] Speaker A: Mexican gangsters. [00:14:03] Speaker B: Oh, I knew it was some kind of different. [00:14:04] Speaker A: Yeah, they was down there in Texas. You know how they do in Texas. Raul, we got you. You know, you need to give us the drugs and the guns. [00:14:15] Speaker B: Slow kicks. [00:14:16] Speaker A: Yeah, them slow kicks, boy, you can see it coming a mile away. [00:14:19] Speaker B: Roundhouse, slow kick, roundhouse, low kicks. [00:14:22] Speaker A: Yeah. Let's go to this YouTube from last week, see if we got some comments from. [00:14:26] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. [00:14:28] Speaker A: Sometimes we have to. Sometimes it just reminds us of what, you know, what we said. [00:14:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:38] Speaker A: So one thing I do want to mention. I got it wrong. And I got it wrong. And I realized I got it wrong as soon as I hit the house. So we were talking about mob land, and I was saying Tom Holland. Tom Holland, Yes. Do you know who Tom Holland is? [00:14:56] Speaker B: No, but I know it's Tom Hardy. [00:14:57] Speaker A: It's Tom Hardy. Tom Holland is Spider Man. [00:15:01] Speaker B: So I gotta go back and listen, but I think I corrected you at that time. That was one of the times you said I was pronouncing everybody's name wrong. [00:15:10] Speaker A: No, you were pronounced. You said Piers. You were saying Pierce Brosnan wrong. [00:15:15] Speaker B: Yeah, [00:15:17] Speaker A: but, yeah, we do have some time. Yeah. Okay, so shout out to DJ High Star. The first thing he said was, well, hold up. What order is this in? [00:15:31] Speaker B: In that order? [00:15:32] Speaker A: Six days. I do. [00:15:33] Speaker B: In that order. [00:15:34] Speaker A: The first thing he said was Matt Damon. Cause I was trying to figure out Ben Affleck's homeboy's name. [00:15:40] Speaker B: Matt Damon. [00:15:41] Speaker A: Matt Damon. I couldn't remember. [00:15:42] Speaker B: What do you mean it's his homeboy, though? I don't know. [00:15:43] Speaker A: They tight like that. They came up together. They wrote Goodwill Hunting together. That's how they got like, big. [00:15:48] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:15:48] Speaker A: Yeah, they tight like that. Shout out to Cheryl Poison. She says you was trying to call Matt Damon and you might be getting seasoned like me. Everyone likes seasoning, though. I do like seasoning, but I don't know. I just had. I just had brain fog. That whole day. I couldn't think of nobody name. [00:16:08] Speaker B: Yeah, me neither. How about that? [00:16:10] Speaker A: She said, El. Talking about that man, Crooked nose. I like luking on their movies. Be all right. Yeah, they do make some good movies. Especially on when Owen was in Behind Enemy Lines. Man, I used to watch that movie all the time. [00:16:23] Speaker B: I didn't put it together that they were brothers. [00:16:25] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I think I saw. Because they really don't. Especially with him with the broken nose. And then he got blonde hair. His brother got like, darker hair or whatever. I didn't until somebody said it. And then once somebody said it, like some years ago. Whatever. [00:16:38] Speaker B: I was like, okay, so I wonder which one's. Well, I guess one could be a brunette and one can be a blonde. [00:16:44] Speaker A: Unless one got fake. [00:16:45] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what I was gonna. That's what I was gonna say. I wonder which one dotted. [00:16:49] Speaker A: Shout out to Ms. Wade. She says Martin is not in my top five either. [00:16:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm with her on that one. [00:16:57] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's cool, even. And we'll talk. Well, I guess we'll talk about it a little bit. Now, the Martin fighting game, they got out. [00:17:05] Speaker B: The video game. [00:17:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:06] Speaker B: Did you get it? [00:17:07] Speaker A: No. It's a computer game. It's on the computer. You just go on the computer and. Oh, so play it. [00:17:12] Speaker B: Yeah, so every time I saw it, they had like a. A QR code to scan, so I thought it was. [00:17:18] Speaker A: I'm not scanning no QR code. But it'd probably just take you to. To the website to play it. Because it's a. Because the early on, when I saw it, it was like a browser. [00:17:28] Speaker B: You know, somebody getting sued for this. [00:17:31] Speaker A: I don't know what I'm saying. [00:17:33] Speaker B: The sayings and all that. [00:17:35] Speaker A: I mean, I guess it just depends on who. How they got it set up or whatever. Cause it's free. They not paying. You're not paying anything. They might get a cease and desist, though. [00:17:46] Speaker B: Yeah, they might get that. [00:17:47] Speaker A: But they got like. I don't know why nobody thought of this earlier. This is genius. [00:17:52] Speaker B: You love it. [00:17:53] Speaker A: Yes. Cause they got all of the, like, places. Like, they had the. At Gina's. [00:17:59] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:00] Speaker A: Where Gina get her hair done. [00:18:01] Speaker B: Nipsey's. [00:18:01] Speaker A: They Got Nipsey's up there. They got right in front of the bank with. [00:18:06] Speaker B: Yeah, with Otis. Not Otis, Dragonfly. [00:18:09] Speaker A: Dragonfly. Jones would fight, but you know, you could pick that place. You pick Martin apartment. It's a couple places. But then they got like. [00:18:15] Speaker B: They all look good too. [00:18:16] Speaker A: Yeah, it look good. They got all the characters. Cole and he'll like call Big Shirley. [00:18:22] Speaker B: And then. You got an audio for this? [00:18:24] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it's some audio, but I don't know what this is playing. [00:18:27] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, they have like. They be saying. [00:18:30] Speaker A: Yeah, look, his special moves, random spoons. Yeah, but yeah, it got a lot of stuff on it. [00:18:39] Speaker B: Oh, he called Big Shirley in the Big. [00:18:41] Speaker A: Yeah, he called Big Shirley. Yep. Yeah, this hot, man. [00:18:48] Speaker B: I thought it was a phone game. [00:18:49] Speaker A: Nah, nah, it's. It's a PC. Yeah, you can put it on your PC. [00:18:56] Speaker B: Dang. They was going crazy over beginning of the week. [00:19:00] Speaker A: For real? [00:19:00] Speaker B: Yeah. On social media it was like, yo, you got the new. The game. [00:19:04] Speaker A: Is it real? [00:19:07] Speaker B: Look at that. [00:19:08] Speaker A: I wish they could come on. And all of Thomas shit is like jobs. Like, it'll be like him as a. Like just all kind of jobs that'll pop up over. Yeah, I don't know why no audio ain't playing on this yet. Yeah, I don't know. [00:19:26] Speaker B: All right. [00:19:27] Speaker A: It might be just this one, but. Yeah, so even though Martin ain't in my top five, like, a game like, this is amazing. Oh yeah, this was at the Players Club. That. That scene right there. Like. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Remember they had the players ball. [00:19:42] Speaker B: Players ball? [00:19:43] Speaker A: Yeah, that's dope, man. Whoever came up with this. But they say they use AI to make it. Like they. [00:19:50] Speaker B: So did they make. Did they make it or is this just. [00:19:55] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:19:56] Speaker B: AI friggin no. [00:19:58] Speaker A: It's a game. So they say they use AI to get the characters into the game, but it's just like a 2, I guess, 2D side scrolling type of fighting game. Not side scrolling, but 2D fighting game or whatever. [00:20:12] Speaker B: Yeah, like old Street Fighter. Looking for the people listening. The old Street Fighter look. [00:20:17] Speaker A: And then they got a Friday one. [00:20:20] Speaker B: You saw it? [00:20:21] Speaker A: Yeah, I saw it. [00:20:22] Speaker B: Oh, I didn't see that one. [00:20:23] Speaker A: Yeah, they got a Friday one. [00:20:24] Speaker B: That shit must have came out the next day. [00:20:27] Speaker A: It was a couple days later, but maybe like two days ago. Two or three days. Let me see if I can find that one. [00:20:33] Speaker B: Dang. I wonder what are they talking about [00:20:36] Speaker A: it on X. I ain't on X. [00:20:39] Speaker B: For real? [00:20:40] Speaker A: Nah, I been got off of this. [00:20:41] Speaker B: I Thought you was on that forever. [00:20:43] Speaker A: Nah, I got off. Like when Elon got it, I got off it. X. Yeah, I got off of that joint. [00:21:23] Speaker A: This shit look good, man. Look at. Ezel is on here. [00:21:31] Speaker B: Sticky Fingers, what's called Brother. [00:21:33] Speaker A: Yep, they go Big Worm. Big Worm. [00:21:36] Speaker B: Yeah, the Mexicans. [00:21:38] Speaker A: The Mexicans? Yeah, one of the special movies, they called him Mexican, the daddy. [00:21:42] Speaker B: Oh, wait, he put him in his pit. He put him in the bag. He hit him with a dookie. Then he got Bernie the preacher. [00:21:51] Speaker A: Oh, and the lady. Oh, the old ladies from the Jehovah's Witness. Yeah, yeah. That's somebody's special move. [00:21:59] Speaker B: Oh, snap. They got a whole bunch of people. Ezel. [00:22:02] Speaker A: I'm scared to play it, man. Cause I think it's gonna put a virus on some shit, man. I'm scared to play this shit. I don't know what to. [00:22:09] Speaker B: Yeah, put it on your phone. That's the most secure thing you can get. [00:22:12] Speaker A: Pretty. Yeah, pretty much. But they got all the characters. [00:22:15] Speaker B: They got the midget. [00:22:16] Speaker A: His name is Mr. Parker. [00:22:20] Speaker B: His real name is what, Tiny? [00:22:22] Speaker A: No, Tiny is Debo. [00:22:24] Speaker B: No, what's his name? His name is it start with a L. I just watched a interview with him yesterday. [00:22:32] Speaker A: I think he's still alive, too. [00:22:34] Speaker B: Nah, he. I think he died. But the damn interviews came out yesterday. I thought he died. He said he retires every. [00:22:43] Speaker A: Tony Cox. That's it, Tony. [00:22:44] Speaker B: That's it. [00:22:45] Speaker A: I think Tony Cox still alive. Yeah, he is. He's still alive. [00:22:49] Speaker B: Oh, so those are recent. I thought they would just put him out late. [00:22:52] Speaker A: Yeah, he not dead. He was born in 1958. [00:22:55] Speaker B: That's the. What's called. What they say. What's that? When you thought somebody died? The. The. The Shazam. [00:23:05] Speaker A: Oh, [00:23:08] Speaker B: the theory. The. The. [00:23:10] Speaker A: Not the butterfly effect? No, no, it's. It's called a Nelson. Nelson Mandela. [00:23:15] Speaker B: Mandela effect. That's what that is. Because I swore he died two Years ago. [00:23:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Mandela effect. But they be putting that on a lot of stuff, though. Mandela effect. [00:23:28] Speaker B: What, when they don't remember it? [00:23:30] Speaker A: No, like, you remember stuff different than what it is. [00:23:34] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:23:34] Speaker A: So like, one of the. Mandela, like you said. Shazam. [00:23:38] Speaker B: The Beresteyn Bears. [00:23:39] Speaker A: That's one. That's the one I was gonna say. That's the one. Yeah. Mandela is. It was somebody else that was supposed that people thought died, and it was like, they still alive or whatever. [00:23:49] Speaker B: I thought Morris Day died. [00:23:51] Speaker A: No, he's still touring. He's still performing, like, heavy. [00:23:54] Speaker B: So when I saw the performance doing [00:23:56] Speaker A: the Bird, the first time I saw [00:23:57] Speaker B: it, I was like, oh, look. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Nah, that's him. That's him. I want to say they were on the Breakfast Club not too long ago. [00:24:04] Speaker B: For real? [00:24:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:05] Speaker B: Damn. I swear he died. What about the guy from Men Society? [00:24:10] Speaker A: Which one? [00:24:10] Speaker B: You know, he done up right. [00:24:12] Speaker A: Not Bill Duke. He died not. [00:24:14] Speaker B: Okay. [00:24:14] Speaker A: Yeah, he died a couple years ago. Damn. [00:24:16] Speaker B: I might have to start checking on these people. [00:24:18] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:24:20] Speaker B: You know. You know, he done up, right? [00:24:22] Speaker A: But yeah. What was the other. Oh, yeah, we had some more comments I was reading. [00:24:25] Speaker B: Yeah, what you got? [00:24:27] Speaker A: Oh, Cheryl Poison says, so you would be in a force if you was in the street life, B. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. Yeah, I've been there. Even not in the street life. Like, something been going on. Like, hey, B, we got this going on. Whatever, whatever come through and I'll come through. You know, I just used to, like. Especially, like when the homie was DJing or whatever and stuff would be big time, whatever. I just be there. I wouldn't be there. Like, other people come there. They there to get drunk. They want to party. They want to mingle with the. [00:24:59] Speaker B: I want to get in free. All in the videos. [00:25:02] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm in. I'm just. They chilling, like, watching out, like, what's going on, like. Cause shit get wicked out there, man. [00:25:08] Speaker B: They do. [00:25:10] Speaker A: They do. That's why, like, the only time I really, really let loose is if I'm not in this country. Because stuff be happy. Like, people be watching you. And if every. If everybody drunk. If everybody drunk, it's easy for y' all to get got. Like, you gotta be like, hey, let's go, let's go. [00:25:29] Speaker B: Don't ever say you're gonna let loose. [00:25:31] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:31] Speaker B: Don't just leave now. [00:25:34] Speaker A: Ms. Wade says 2436 is definitely not my measurements. More like 40, 58. What? 24, 36, 48. What are the measure? Your chest, your waist and your waist. Yeah. [00:25:45] Speaker B: Your bust, your bust, your waist and your hips. [00:25:48] Speaker A: Which one is 40? Which one? 58. [00:25:51] Speaker B: Jesus. It don't matter. [00:25:53] Speaker A: I honestly can't remember where 2436 came from because I've had YouTube for so long. She said, so you want to be in School of Rock? She said I played the clarinet and the viola. Viola. [00:26:07] Speaker B: The viola. [00:26:08] Speaker A: Yeah, that was. Cheryl said that stupid. And Ms. Wade says I'm talking about da Vinci, the actor. She was not talking about the. Okay, yeah, she said she's done. [00:26:20] Speaker B: Look, she came back in and was talking about photos and, you know, I just went to the, you know, my photo brain. [00:26:27] Speaker A: And she also says my watch is with reasonable doubt to drop animals. She said, I tried starting below on Netflix but kept getting distracted. She said she's reading Cutthroat if y' all care about that. [00:26:41] Speaker B: Cutthroat is old, ain't it? [00:26:43] Speaker A: I don't know. It's a book. [00:26:44] Speaker B: Yeah, I think I heard that one. [00:26:46] Speaker A: I haven't heard of it. I guess it's like a fiction book. Somebody was like, made a post about men reading and they only like. Men only read self help books. That type of stuff. Like, men don't read fiction books. [00:27:00] Speaker B: That's not true. That's not true. [00:27:02] Speaker A: I don't read fiction books. If I'm reading a book, it's like a history book or about autobiography, a biography, whatever, a memoir. [00:27:12] Speaker B: So the books you read ain't got no wizards and fairies in it. [00:27:16] Speaker A: I just know fiction books, period. Like, no, like, I wouldn't read like a Tom Clancy book or nothing like that. Like, you know what I'm saying? It gotta be something about, you know. [00:27:26] Speaker B: I don't think that's true though. I think guys read. People that do read books will, you know, venture off in different books. [00:27:34] Speaker A: I read books. I don't. [00:27:36] Speaker B: Yeah, but you read self help books. [00:27:39] Speaker A: I read self help. I read history books. [00:27:42] Speaker B: I read history books. Yeah, you like autobiographies though, right? [00:27:46] Speaker A: Biographies, all of that? Yep, I read them. Type like real life stuff that happen books. I ain't like even as much as I like Game of Thrones, I wouldn't read Game of Thrones, the book. You know what I'm saying? But I watched the show. Like, even, like I tried to get into comics. I couldn't read comic books. [00:28:05] Speaker B: What? [00:28:05] Speaker A: Yep. I couldn't get into it. [00:28:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I was reading them. [00:28:07] Speaker A: I even got like, you know, when the iPad first came out, they had the iPad app and I'm talking about. They look, the stuff looked great on the iPad, too. Yeah, I. I tried, man. I could. I couldn't get into it. [00:28:17] Speaker B: I started reading comic books, being on punishment. [00:28:20] Speaker A: Oh. Cause you couldn't watch tv. [00:28:21] Speaker B: Couldn't watch tv, sir. I got all these comic books. [00:28:24] Speaker A: I'm reading these, she says, not hooking it up on the big tv. That's. Hell, yeah, Cheryl Paul said my mom didn't play that. [00:28:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. That's a. That was against the law. [00:28:35] Speaker A: All right, so last weekend, we record on Sunday. And I said. You said next weekend, and you were talking about the 24th was next week. So Ms. Wade said next weekend, which was last weekend from last weekend, would be the 17th in her mind, which is the day. Thank you, ma'. [00:28:56] Speaker C: Am. [00:28:57] Speaker B: I got you. [00:28:58] Speaker A: All right. Choppa style she was talking about. [00:29:02] Speaker B: I ain't seen none of these comments. I must have got looked at it [00:29:06] Speaker A: too late, too early. [00:29:08] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:09] Speaker A: Cheryl says the rundown is so funny. Yeah, that was a good, funny movie. DJ Heist. Cause you said. What would High Star say about what you asked? Wonder what he thought about Abbott. I think he said something like that. He said, for the record, Abbott is top five all time. B is right. [00:29:27] Speaker B: What? [00:29:28] Speaker A: Yep. Perfect mix of corny and clever jokes, dad jokes, character art, storylines incorporating the city of Philly in the show. Crossover episodes. Oh, yeah, they did. They did. They had crossover episodes with It's Sunny in Philadelphia. They have a lot of celebrity cameos on there. He said, L. That shit is damn near a perfect show you can watch on anyone. Oh, my gosh. He said you could watch. You can't. Like, you know, nowadays, a lot of stuff, they either throwing a lot of sex in there or they throwing a lot of cursing in there or whatever. Like, stuff like that. Abbott elementary, you pretty much. You pretty much. In my opinion, you could watch Abbott elementary with anybody. I could tell my mama to watch it. My mama, you know, Holy rolly type. You know what I'm saying? My mama. Hey, my mama didn't watch Martin back in the day. She didn't watch Martin back in the day. [00:30:17] Speaker B: Cause she watch it now. [00:30:18] Speaker A: Nah, she didn't watch it now. You know, that wasn't her thing, but. Cause Martin and Gina was shacking up. [00:30:25] Speaker B: Did she watch the Young and the Restless? [00:30:26] Speaker A: No, my mama didn't watch the stories. She didn't watch the story. [00:30:28] Speaker B: She didn't watch no stories. General Hospital, All My Children? [00:30:31] Speaker A: Nope. [00:30:32] Speaker B: What? [00:30:33] Speaker A: Nope? My mama watched like, well, now, like, back then, she would watch like. I think she watched Golden Girls a little bit, but she ain't really mess with it. Because Blanche was a. She watched, like, stuff like she was like, 227 for real, kind of. She watched that. Good Times. [00:30:53] Speaker B: That's borderline right there. [00:30:55] Speaker A: What, two, two, seven? [00:30:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:30:56] Speaker A: How? [00:30:57] Speaker B: Because they had jackets. She was all. [00:30:59] Speaker A: But the. But the main characters was married, though. She was just a side character. You know what I'm saying? Oh, so you got the main storyline about Martin is him and Gina moving together. [00:31:11] Speaker B: Now she just stopping by. [00:31:12] Speaker A: Yeah. But then they started living together after a little while. But. Yeah. Let me go to another comment before we move on to the next segment. She said Tasty Love is another Freddie Jones. Sure. You freaky. I ain't never heard Tasty Love. High Star says the Office is one of them ones. And she said. Ms. Wade said the reason why I said the photography thing is because l said he retired. Any tips? L. I do need a side hustle. Oh. [00:31:45] Speaker B: I don't even like talking about photography anymore. I'm retired. Retired? [00:31:48] Speaker A: You sure? [00:31:50] Speaker C: What about. [00:31:51] Speaker A: Are you retired from helping someone? [00:31:53] Speaker B: I'm definitely retired for helping. I'm definitely. Because everybody can. [00:32:00] Speaker C: You. [00:32:00] Speaker A: Would you have someone. Would you have someone for pay? Not. Not shooting anything, just setting up? [00:32:05] Speaker B: No. [00:32:06] Speaker A: You wouldn't even help somebody set up nothing? [00:32:08] Speaker B: Nah, man. Because I go in, like, a mind thing. [00:32:12] Speaker A: What do you mean? [00:32:13] Speaker B: Like, I'm so focused on there's damn numbers in my head. There's footage. Footage. And there's, you know, distance and stuff like that. All that stuff is going in my head. It's so easy and quick to say, [00:32:26] Speaker A: nah, I can't help you. [00:32:28] Speaker B: And then I feel free. [00:32:30] Speaker A: So let's say, like, somebody was going to shoot a video podcast and they just want you to help them set up the lights right quick. [00:32:36] Speaker B: Yeah. You know how. You know how to do it, huh? [00:32:39] Speaker C: All right. [00:32:39] Speaker B: How's that? Good. All right. [00:32:41] Speaker A: What if that's all they would need? [00:32:43] Speaker C: That. [00:32:43] Speaker B: That. Hey, I'll plug it in for him. [00:32:45] Speaker A: Okay. [00:32:46] Speaker B: That's it. [00:32:47] Speaker A: Plug it in. I had to put him on the spot. Y' all plug it in. [00:32:49] Speaker B: Walk away. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Speaking of television, what have you watched this week? [00:32:53] Speaker B: I watch a. A good. I'm so. Crystal Lake came out. Did you see that? [00:32:57] Speaker A: You know damn well ain't watch no damn Crystal Lake. [00:33:00] Speaker B: It's not really. It's not spooky. You don't like spooky? [00:33:03] Speaker A: It's. It's Jason, right? [00:33:05] Speaker B: Yeah, but Jason ain't the one who. [00:33:07] Speaker A: The one. [00:33:08] Speaker B: I don't want to give it up, but Jason ain't the one. The whole thing up Yeah, I watched the whole. [00:33:12] Speaker A: What? [00:33:12] Speaker B: It came out on Peacock. [00:33:15] Speaker A: I don't even know if I have Peacock. So good. [00:33:18] Speaker B: I know you got it on. [00:33:18] Speaker A: It's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know the app is popping, baby. [00:33:22] Speaker B: Yeah. Crystal Lake. It's on Peacock. I watched. I did. I did watch a little bit of a Different World. [00:33:34] Speaker A: I said I was gonna start it, but I ain't really. I don't know why. I don't really wanna watch it. [00:33:40] Speaker B: Oh, I thought you defended it last week. That's why I watched it. [00:33:43] Speaker A: What did I say? [00:33:43] Speaker B: I don't remember, but I thought it was like, eh. Cause I said, oh, I don't like the cleaning, the moviness to it. I like the sexual to it. [00:33:55] Speaker A: A couple weeks ago you said it. Cause I think. Was it two? No, it was a post I saw and people saying it looked like a Tyler Perry. Because I guess because like you said, how clean it look or whatever. Yeah, you don't look. [00:34:07] Speaker B: But I watched one episode. [00:34:09] Speaker A: I think people gotta do with. With a different world. People that didn't like it gotta do what they did with Fresh Prince. Cause the Fresh Prince, the new one, Bel Air, it's like it, but it ain't. It's more gritty, so it don't look like a. It ain't a sitcom. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, but I don't know. Is this a sitcom, per se? [00:34:30] Speaker B: Nah, it's not a sitcom. It's a series, I think. [00:34:33] Speaker A: No, it's. What do you mean? [00:34:35] Speaker B: Well, I think it's more like a movie series, you know what I'm saying? [00:34:42] Speaker A: Okay. Not as much as like a. [00:34:44] Speaker B: Not a sitcom. [00:34:45] Speaker A: A drama. Yeah, more of a drama. [00:34:48] Speaker B: It's definitely a drama. [00:34:49] Speaker A: Okay. [00:34:50] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. The funds are low now. Oh, the kids can't. Whatever. [00:34:58] Speaker A: What? [00:34:58] Speaker B: They say that at the end of the episode, they was talking about the student loans. They stopped giving student loans to everybody, man. Get out of here. [00:35:10] Speaker A: That happens in real life. [00:35:11] Speaker B: So now it's, we gotta get the student loans back for the kids, man. [00:35:16] Speaker A: But at least you don't have to wait till next week. [00:35:18] Speaker B: Forget all that. I ain't watching no more. It's over. [00:35:21] Speaker A: Oh, you done? You know what? [00:35:22] Speaker B: It's over. [00:35:23] Speaker A: What else you watch? Tell me something that you liked. [00:35:26] Speaker B: Mob Land. [00:35:27] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. You caught up? [00:35:29] Speaker B: Not think I'm too behind. [00:35:31] Speaker A: Oh, God. [00:35:33] Speaker B: How many. How many episodes on this season? [00:35:36] Speaker A: Four or five. [00:35:37] Speaker B: All right, then I'm two. I'm second episode, first season. Second episode, second season. And it's Good. [00:35:45] Speaker A: Yep. [00:35:47] Speaker B: The mama's crazy. Old lady crazy. [00:35:50] Speaker A: The daddy really crazy. [00:35:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. He don't even know how crazy he is. [00:35:55] Speaker A: He know the Doctor tried to tell him. You been to the. You got to that episode where he went to the Doctor? [00:36:00] Speaker B: Nope. [00:36:00] Speaker A: Okay. [00:36:01] Speaker B: All right. [00:36:01] Speaker C: I was. [00:36:02] Speaker B: Gary. Say I ain't get to that. I tried to drop out again. I got back on it. This next episode was a lot better than the first one. [00:36:12] Speaker A: What episode you on? [00:36:13] Speaker B: Two. Number two. That's it. I'm good. I might watch a little bit more. [00:36:19] Speaker A: All right, what else? What else? [00:36:21] Speaker B: I watch Vision Quest. [00:36:26] Speaker A: How you like it? [00:36:27] Speaker B: It's good. It was a little shaky trying to lay down the first half. First half of that first episode. [00:36:36] Speaker A: I trust them Marvel when it come to shows. I kind of wish I would have waited a couple more episodes to watch them all, because WandaVision, when WandaVision first came out, I didn't watch. I didn't watch it until it was. All the episodes was out. [00:36:55] Speaker B: They only put two out, right? [00:36:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So if I had watched it week by week, like how it came out, I probably wouldn't. Wouldn't have liked it. But I watched. I watched like three episodes at a time, and I was like, what is going on? I couldn't figure out, like, what this got to do with, you know, the Avengers and all of that stuff. And then by the time, you know, they 30 minute episodes. I think it was 30 minute episodes. Anyway, watching it binge, watching that show, it just made it so I could catch on to what was going on. Yeah, yeah. And I think this one like that too. Cause at first I was like, what. What they got going on, all these people? And then I was like, oh, shoot. They in his head. [00:37:32] Speaker B: They in his head. So when he goes in that closet. [00:37:36] Speaker A: Yeah, that's him. [00:37:37] Speaker B: He kind of like. He's. You say charging up. [00:37:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:37:41] Speaker B: And then that's when they bring us into his head. [00:37:45] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And they got all of the. Because Vision is part Jarvis and this one and that one. So Allen University was gonna get a new stadium. And they paid this guy, like, $7.5 million to do it. Ain't put a nail no way or nothing. He took the bread and ran. [01:02:18] Speaker B: Did he run now? [01:02:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:02:22] Speaker B: What? [01:02:23] Speaker A: Yeah, basically the money lost. [01:02:24] Speaker B: How much? So this story Like I said, it's in Colombia. Says a man is now facing federal charges after allegedly defrauding Columbia's Allen University out of millions that were meant for the construction of a new football stadium. [01:04:06] Speaker B: Dang, that's crazy. [01:04:07] Speaker A: 58 year old Lamonica Valerie of Hollywood, Florida was indicted on three counts of money laundering and additional kind of wire fraud. According to documents unsealed in a Florida federal court, Valerie convinced the private historically black university and his parent organization, the African Methodist Episcopal church, to pay $1.7 million in fees to support construction of a football stadium. [01:04:33] Speaker B: Oh, so they didn't get the whole 7 million? [01:04:35] Speaker A: Nah. The partnership between Valerie and Allen University dates back to August 2023. The agreement was initially pitched as a stadium being built at no cost to the school, but he didn't have funding to make it feasible. According to the indictment, Valerie secured an amendment to the deal that saw Allen pay him up to $3 million to speed up the process so it would be finished by the 2024, 2025 football season. He was able to secure a $500,000 lump sum from Allen while also getting another $70,000 per month from the school for construction, as well as an additional $154,000 from the AME Church. [01:05:15] Speaker B: Damn. [01:05:17] Speaker A: He was also able to secure 154. Hold up. No, no, he just said that he's also accused of defrauding an architectural firm out of $4.3 million in loans and $500,000 in design work related to the stadium. Yeah, so it. Yeah, okay. [01:05:32] Speaker B: Did he at least get over there and tear the place up and make it look like something, say I'm going to lunch. It sound like he just didn't even come. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we coming next week. [01:05:45] Speaker A: He got, he's out on a hundred thousand dollar bond. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison. [01:05:50] Speaker B: He got the money. [01:05:52] Speaker A: He got they money. [01:05:53] Speaker B: He got their money. [01:05:54] Speaker A: Yeah, he got their money. I don't know where I get. Maybe I, maybe It was a 7 from the 1.7, but still $4.3 million. Maybe it was. Maybe the other thing I read cause it said 4.3 and then another 3 million was something 7. Maybe they just added all of that up on that article. But yeah, he got, he got some money out of there and $70,000 a month. [01:06:15] Speaker B: It's crazy for nothing. You gotta come, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta tear the grass up or something. [01:06:21] Speaker A: Maybe he came there, he was like riding around in a company truck, you know what I'm saying? With A hard hat, walking around, looking at her clipboard, looking at stuff like. [01:06:30] Speaker B: Okay, tape measure. [01:06:31] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [01:06:32] Speaker B: Hold this. Holist. A big place for reptiles. Reptile scamming, reptile importing. [01:06:56] Speaker A: Is Hollywood near Orlando? [01:07:01] Speaker B: No, it's a couple hours, I think. Four hours from here? No, from there. Hold on. I think. Hollywood. [01:07:16] Speaker A: Oh, it's between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Oh, yeah. Okay. [01:07:21] Speaker B: How far is it? Is it.
