You got a Bane impression. [00:01:00] Speaker A: And you think this gives you. [00:01:01] Speaker B: Oh, me. [00:01:04] Speaker A: In one part, he was like. They was in the plane. It was like, so, what's your next move? Or something like that. Crashing this plane. Yeah. I was born in the darkness. [00:01:18] Speaker B: You were, but I was born in it. [00:01:22] Speaker A: By the time I came into the light, it was blinding. [00:01:25] Speaker B: I hated. I hated his voice during the movie. [00:01:27] Speaker A: Yeah, he switched it up. Yeah, I like that movie. I like this voice, though. It was weird. [00:01:30] Speaker B: And shout out to Tom. [00:01:32] Speaker A: Tom Holland. He's a rapper. [00:01:34] Speaker B: He's a rapper. [00:01:35] Speaker A: Yeah. He's been rapping with Hold Up, Method Man. He got a song with the Meth. [00:01:39] Speaker B: He did a album with the rza. [00:01:41] Speaker A: Oh, he did a whole album with the Rizza. [00:01:43] Speaker B: Whole album. [00:01:43] Speaker A: Oh, so that album, the song with Method man is on that album? [00:01:46] Speaker B: Yeah, that's a single. [00:01:47] Speaker C: Ah. [00:01:48] Speaker B: I wonder if he's gonna wear that mask the whole time. [00:01:50] Speaker A: Oh, he was. Had like the. It wasn't even a Pooh Shiesty mask. It was like a. A Batman villain mask. [00:01:57] Speaker B: It was. It was a bank robbery mask. [00:01:59] Speaker A: Yeah, you won't even see his eye holes in that moment. [00:02:04] Speaker B: So there's a couple other rappers that do that. [00:02:07] Speaker A: Do the whole mass. Is it a Britain thing? [00:02:09] Speaker B: Nah, it's like there's a guy called Great Guard, he from Harlem. He do that. You know, Ghostface is like one. He did it, but he. [00:02:17] Speaker A: Ghostface did it because he had a charge. [00:02:20] Speaker B: Yeah, he definitely. [00:02:21] Speaker A: Back in the day, he said it [00:02:21] Speaker B: was getting too hot up under there. [00:02:23] Speaker A: So that's why he took the chance. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Face been revealed. Things changed. Yeah, you know what you been up to, man? [00:02:30] Speaker A: Just working. It's homecoming season. You know, we start a week early. [00:02:33] Speaker B: Oh, that's why you came here dressed like. You going to Cancun? [00:02:36] Speaker A: Nah. Really? Cause, see, last week you had the go out shirt on. You got the go out outfit on now, man. I had this shirt for two. I had this outfit for two. I got the shorts to match. Y' all just to let you know, [00:02:45] Speaker B: your thighs are showing right now. [00:02:46] Speaker A: The thighs are showing? [00:02:47] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:02:47] Speaker A: It is a little up, you know what I'm saying? You see the quad? You know what I'm saying? The car had to pull that down a little bit, you know what I'm saying? Wanna get a charge over here for, you know, HR had to check me out for. [00:02:57] Speaker B: Got that hoochie daddies on. [00:02:58] Speaker A: Nah, we don't do that over here. [00:02:59] Speaker B: Nah, those are hoochie daddies. Anything above the knee is hoochie daddies. [00:03:03] Speaker A: No, no, I'm telling you. No. You got your shorts above the knee. [00:03:07] Speaker B: Nah, somewhere else. [00:03:08] Speaker A: When you stand up. When you stand up. Shorts below the knee. Nowadays, you look old. You look like. [00:03:14] Speaker B: Word. [00:03:15] Speaker A: You came out in the 90s, you know what I'm saying? So you got to get with the times a little bit. You ain't got to go super short. You ain't got to show your whole quad while you standing up. [00:03:22] Speaker B: No, now you got one of them hoochie daddy outfits. [00:03:25] Speaker A: When I stand on. When I stand up, they come right back. [00:03:27] Speaker B: That look good, though. [00:03:28] Speaker A: I appreciate it. Velvet. This is. This is crushed velvet. This is terry. [00:03:32] Speaker B: Terry. [00:03:33] Speaker A: Terry cloth, baby. [00:03:34] Speaker B: Okay. [00:03:34] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? For the summertime. [00:03:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:03:36] Speaker A: I mean, I had it two summers ago. Never wore it. Never had the opportunity to go nowhere with it. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I see you over there. Yeah. I mean, see, you see the symbol? Shout out to high star. He loved that. Sergio got the little. [00:03:47] Speaker B: Little. [00:03:48] Speaker A: Yeah, one button open. No, that's not. No button open. This is the top. [00:03:52] Speaker B: Made like that. [00:03:52] Speaker A: The top. It's made like that, baby. To get. You know what I'm saying? Get a little. [00:03:55] Speaker B: That's ready. Straight for Cancun. [00:03:57] Speaker A: Straight for it. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. If you can't see this, go to YouTube and see this flyest outfit. This shirt cost $150B. [00:04:08] Speaker B: But don't move too fast. Cause, like, it got, like, a little. [00:04:11] Speaker A: Nah, it got. [00:04:12] Speaker B: They said you get a seizure if you look at it. [00:04:15] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You get that design? This is my Illuminati shirt. [00:04:20] Speaker B: You see? [00:04:21] Speaker A: Illuminat. Say, you got the checkerboard in the junk. Illuminati checkerboard. Shout out. Yeah. Speaking of London. Home in London. Anyway. [00:04:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I see. I. I know two people out there. Yo, London is big. [00:04:33] Speaker A: I did not think about this, bro. So they were talking about how much the tickets were in London. Like, people was getting tickets for, like, $70, $200, $100 oh, word. They were saying it was cheaper for them to fly to London and watch the show, just go to the show, than it was for them to buy tickets in the U.S. are you serious? Yeah. For their whole trip. They was like. It was. It wound up being the same thing. So they was like, why would I go to Chicago or wherever, New York to see it, you know what I'm saying, when I can go to all the way to another country, see the show for free and I mean for cheaper, and then have like a little vacation out there too. [00:05:06] Speaker B: Oh, that's crazy. [00:05:07] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a whole. It was one girl, she was like. It was 70 people on her plane going to that show. [00:05:13] Speaker B: Oh, word. See, look, I know two people that was there. Yeah, My man dw, he. He went there, but they lost his bag. His bag stayed in. So he went to the concert with like something he had on the day before. Yeah, he was like, what it is? What it is? He just. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I did not look into that. Like, I was looking like. Well, I'm currently. Look, I was looking at tickets for the one in la. Okay, Well, I wasn't looking at tickets. I'm trying to get CL to, you know, he connected or whatever. So I'm trying to get CL to get us in there. But the plane ticket, like $600. [00:05:47] Speaker B: When is the LA one? [00:05:49] Speaker A: It's in October. [00:05:50] Speaker B: Yeah, it's kind of close. [00:05:51] Speaker A: Yeah, but I mean, we've been. Look, I've been looking for. He been asking, speaking to his people for like two, two, two months. So whenever they announced it, I like, yo, it's your man's job, what they do, what they doing, what his man do. [00:06:05] Speaker B: I don't know. I mean, no, I mean, I mean, does it sound like it could happen? [00:06:09] Speaker A: I don't know. I think it's gonna be one of them close to the time to where. You know what I'm saying? He can know. Cause he, he, he NBA champion. [00:06:20] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. I got you twice. Okay. [00:06:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Back to back years. He won the championship, so. [00:06:25] Speaker B: Oh, word, word. [00:06:26] Speaker A: He should be able to get a little something from. You know what I mean? Yeah, but you know, I need to [00:06:31] Speaker B: see them pictures when you there, man. [00:06:32] Speaker A: If I go, man, hey, I'll spend it, you know. But then, then the room situation, you know, we get the little yada that. [00:06:39] Speaker B: I mean, the little yada. The mean. [00:06:41] Speaker A: The yada. The mean is yada. Cause that's the room still up there. Word. Yeah, but like. [00:06:46] Speaker B: But the room lit up there. But it's a different Kind of room. [00:06:49] Speaker A: No, man, but see, here's the thing. So like, if you booking a room here. [00:06:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:54] Speaker A: And you get the little discounted rate and it say Hartsville and it pop up. Hartsville. We know how far Hartsville really is from like the Civic center. Oh, yeah, yeah, that shit, like 40 minutes. [00:07:05] Speaker B: Yeah. So you don't really know. [00:07:06] Speaker A: So you don't really know. Okay, I got the room. Boom. And then you find out you 40 minutes away. I don't know the name of the areas, how far it is from the hotel and this, that and the third. [00:07:14] Speaker B: You gotta do like I do, put the address of the venue. Yeah, but search. [00:07:19] Speaker A: That's the 600 a night rooms and 500. Yeah. [00:07:23] Speaker B: So how many nights? One night? [00:07:26] Speaker A: Nah, I go. I gotta go at least two or three. [00:07:27] Speaker B: No, but that 500 is for one night or just for probably the duration. [00:07:32] Speaker A: Yeah, see, I. But see, I don't want. I don't like doing the one night and then rebooking another night. [00:07:37] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:07:38] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? [00:07:38] Speaker B: But anyway, because you mess around, get moved out of here, you'd be like, [00:07:42] Speaker A: yeah, yeah, you got switch rooms. Sometimes they're like, you know. [00:07:45] Speaker B: Yeah, you're right. You're right. [00:07:47] Speaker A: Yeah. But I don't know. It depends. [00:07:49] Speaker B: Concerts are big right now, man. [00:07:51] Speaker A: Yeah. And now. So what made. When you said that, it was people talking about how overseas, like, they got laws where concert tickets can't really go, but so high. [00:08:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I heard that. [00:08:01] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? [00:08:02] Speaker B: I thought that was just for like those Ticketmasters and stuff like that. [00:08:06] Speaker A: It kind of is. So, like, they really don't do the reselling thing over there. Here we. We do the resale. And then Ticketmaster and Live Nation, basically the same company now. Oh, word. So they basically got a monopoly on where the big shows can be done at. [00:08:23] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:24] Speaker A: Then they got a monopoly on who's selling the tickets. So if ain't nobody else selling tickets, I can set my price for however much I want to. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:31] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? And the government ain't stepping in. I know the last administration, like, you know, you buy a ticket, your ticket price say $55. When you go to check out the shit, $100. Cause they done added all of these fees. [00:08:42] Speaker B: Oh, word. [00:08:43] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So they were trying to get rid of all of those junk fees or whatever, but now this new administration let them come back and stuff like that. So that's why I really. It gotta be somebody like really? Like, for a concert, I'll go to, like, like, the amphitheater type stuff. It won't be like the biggest artist. [00:09:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:03] Speaker A: It'd be like somebody I like. [00:09:05] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. [00:09:05] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Like, I went to see Ari Lennox for the Low or whatever, you know what I'm saying? But, like, going to, like, a big, big venue, you gonna spend way more. [00:09:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:09:14] Speaker A: Than the ticket price. But the. [00:09:17] Speaker B: What's called concert is big right now. The Wu Tang Forever. The last. The final tour. Yeah, that's big right now. But at the beginning, it was Wu Tang and Bone Thug. But all the videos I see now [00:09:32] Speaker A: is this Wu Tang. [00:09:33] Speaker B: It's Wu Tang. But certain shows Mobb Deep came to, you know, they pop up in certain ones also. [00:09:41] Speaker A: I just saw something. It's crazy. You mentioned that. I just saw. No, I was listening to Joe Budden podcast and they were talking about, I guess, Busy Bone. Oh, yeah. Going back and forth with Lazy. [00:09:56] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:09:57] Speaker A: So they was like, he ain't gonna be on the tour no more because. Because they wanted him to go to rehab. They was like, while you in rehab, we'll pay you while you in there, but they want you to go rehab. And I guess he don't want to go or whatever. Whatever. And they was going back and forth. That's crazy. You brought that up. [00:10:14] Speaker B: Oh, word. [00:10:15] Speaker A: I was just like. When you pulled up. When you pulled up and I was sitting outside, I was listening to them talk about that in the car. [00:10:21] Speaker B: Oh, so that's what's going on. [00:10:22] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:23] Speaker B: Okay. [00:10:23] Speaker A: Okay. So that's the back and forth. [00:10:24] Speaker B: Cause I've been still seeing a lot of Wu Tang footages and stuff like that and all over. And the same tour dates is. The regular tour was supposed to be Bone Thug and Wu Tang. [00:10:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:37] Speaker B: But now it's. It looked like it doesn't turn into a Wu Tang. [00:10:40] Speaker A: Just a Wu Tang show. Yeah. [00:10:42] Speaker B: Now I don't know if they're there or not. And then they're just not coming up on my radar. But I don't know. [00:10:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I've only seen Wu Tang, but another big tour, you. Cash money, no limit. Oh, man, that's jumping off. [00:10:55] Speaker B: Even Mercedes is there. [00:10:57] Speaker A: Damn. [00:10:58] Speaker B: Hey, man, she got a little commercial. [00:11:01] Speaker A: You know what they're doing, too? They got having, like, all of the individual people, like, saying, like, I saw an ad for, like, bg. [00:11:08] Speaker B: The videos. [00:11:08] Speaker A: No, no, just a, you know, like a flyer, whatever with just bg. Like, come see BG on tour. [00:11:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:11:14] Speaker A: Then they got Everybody else like Lil Boosie, this one, that one now, you know what I'm saying? On it. But then I seen one with like somebody else face on it, and then, you know, they promoting the hell out of it. Yeah, they are. [00:11:23] Speaker B: It's here in October. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:11:25] Speaker A: I might. I was thinking about going to D.C. to that show. [00:11:28] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Huh. [00:11:30] Speaker B: I wonder if Wayne's gonna be at all the shows. [00:11:32] Speaker A: I doubt it. [00:11:33] Speaker B: The last show, like, pictures I seen, Wayne was there. That was Houston last this week. [00:11:37] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like yesterday. Yeah, I've seen that. [00:11:40] Speaker B: He was on stage with himself. [00:11:42] Speaker A: I think they're gonna be in Raleigh too. [00:11:44] Speaker B: They're gonna be in. [00:11:45] Speaker A: They're gonna be in Columbia. Are they gonna be in Charlotte? [00:11:50] Speaker B: I think Charlotte too. I think Charlotte too. [00:11:52] Speaker A: I know. Yeah, I know. They're gonna be in D.C. baltimore. [00:11:56] Speaker B: Baltimore. [00:11:57] Speaker A: A good little bit of places. You know what I'm saying? You can get. You can get to get a chance to check them out. I'm probably gonna. I'm gonna go to one because I like cash money. Especially around the time juvie and all of that. And a lot of no limit. I was rocking. We was rocking a lot of no limit back in my high school days. [00:12:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:12:13] Speaker A: Used to call us the 504 boys. Yeah. [00:12:16] Speaker B: That's crazy. Yeah. [00:12:18] Speaker A: We want to get in the emails first. You got emails or you want to do what we watched? [00:12:24] Speaker B: Let's get in the emails. [00:12:25] Speaker A: We get in our emails, man. [00:12:27] Speaker B: Let's get it. [00:12:27] Speaker A: Get into some of these. [00:12:28] Speaker B: Shout out to everybody. Shout out to all the people that comment. Shout out to Cheryl Poison. [00:12:32] Speaker A: Yeah, who. [00:12:34] Speaker B: What's the other one? Yeah, for the people commenting on. [00:12:38] Speaker A: On YouTube. [00:12:39] Speaker B: Faithfully. [00:12:40] Speaker A: Faithfully on YouTube. [00:12:42] Speaker B: Like. Like we say every week. I gotta remember what we said when I'm just reading those comments. [00:12:47] Speaker A: Yep. Let me refresh, make sure we got another one. This one came from the. From the homie bmac, you know, family of the show. [00:12:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:12:54] Speaker A: He says, quick rebuttal. Convenient service work. I always tip, especially restaurants. DoorDash, Instacart 15 I tip my barber and hair braider. It's a service because, yes, you could do it. Yes, I could do it myself. But I pay for their services and tip for their convenience. [00:13:14] Speaker B: Damn. And they got hair now. [00:13:16] Speaker A: He been had hair. [00:13:17] Speaker B: I don't remember that. Yeah, I ain't seen him in that long. [00:13:20] Speaker A: He been here. Oh, yeah. So here's a bad story. Twice last year, I was at a restaurant with certain parts of my family. Each instance was different. One domestic, the Other international. Both times I was ultimately embarrassed and wish I could wave the men in black pen one said, acted like the servers work for. For them. If any of you think they do, then you're part of the problem. Just blatant nigger asking for goofy sending back multiple times. Fake criticizing and complaining. And none of them left the tip. Ain't even offer. And they chose the place to eat. Mind you, my brother and I took care of everyone's meal. Wow. So my brother and I gave separate tips to all three servers. The one that was out the country. Them hardy. Y' all acted like they'd never been anywhere or even imagine being outside of their hometown. Mind you, they declined my tips multiple times because they couldn't accept tips. But I kept asking due to my. Due to me feeling so ashamed of being among a. Straight up. A girl lesbian. Another topic. Was she a bulldagger? They want to act like men so bad. Anyway, who asked the service how much they make or what kind of house they have? Personal uncouth. I'm leaving this email right here appalled. All right, well, I'll let you bo. [00:14:43] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:14:44] Speaker A: Shout out to Gilmore. Shout out to bmac. [00:14:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I thought about you this weekend. Last weekend I went to a fancy Mediterranean. [00:14:52] Speaker A: Really? [00:14:53] Speaker B: Restaurant. [00:14:54] Speaker A: And in another city. [00:14:56] Speaker B: Yeah. Myrtle Beach. [00:14:58] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:14:58] Speaker B: Not too far. [00:14:58] Speaker A: Oh, you saw a video of that? I think I posted. You posted. And I sent you a message about it or something. [00:15:07] Speaker B: What'd I say on the message? [00:15:08] Speaker A: I can't remember. I was like. I think I might have asked you, where were you? [00:15:12] Speaker B: Yeah, I might have said the beach. [00:15:14] Speaker A: Yeah, you said the beach. [00:15:15] Speaker B: So they put that gratuity on there. So I'm like, how many people was it? It's only two. [00:15:21] Speaker A: Nah, you did. [00:15:22] Speaker B: You disrespectful. Why? [00:15:23] Speaker A: No, they disrespectful. I'm talking about them. [00:15:25] Speaker B: Oh, they put it on everything. [00:15:27] Speaker A: Everything. Okay. [00:15:28] Speaker B: They got a sign at the door. So I'm like, oh, so you knew. [00:15:32] Speaker A: Going in. [00:15:33] Speaker B: Yeah. I was like, okay, okay. [00:15:34] Speaker A: It ain't no surprise. [00:15:35] Speaker B: Yeah, it wasn't surprised. [00:15:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:37] Speaker B: I was like, I know this can be about 150, 120. Bill came up to like, 120 something. [00:15:43] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:43] Speaker B: For one little platter. Thing was. It was a little black. It was good. [00:15:47] Speaker A: It was okay. [00:15:48] Speaker B: It was experience too. [00:15:49] Speaker A: You know, they come. They have, like, Mediterranean women doing a dance or something. [00:15:53] Speaker B: Yeah. But I think we was there right before that night shift where they got a party like that. So we was right there, I think. [00:16:01] Speaker A: So what did you. Did you leave extra gratuity? You live extra. [00:16:05] Speaker B: It was it. That was it. Y' all got it. Y' all go. And for one, they rushed us out of the seats. [00:16:10] Speaker C: Wow. [00:16:10] Speaker B: They didn't rush us, but when we got there, it was like. Yeah, usually we take reservation, but we got a seat ready. We got a seat now if you want to sit now, but we need it by 7:15. [00:16:23] Speaker A: What time do y' all sit down? [00:16:24] Speaker B: It was like an hour. So we had an hour. And hour was good. Cause I don't sit there that long. [00:16:29] Speaker A: But you didn't feel welcomed? [00:16:32] Speaker B: I felt welcome. It was cool. [00:16:34] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:16:34] Speaker B: The waitress was cool. [00:16:35] Speaker A: Was the food good, though? [00:16:36] Speaker B: Yeah, the food was good. It was something different on a level [00:16:39] Speaker A: from Mediterranean food is a real, like, light food. Like, you gonna be full, but you ain't gonna be heavy food. [00:16:46] Speaker B: Exactly. I wasn't. Rio's full. I wasn't like, I can't even get to the car. [00:16:52] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, but you full. You like. [00:16:53] Speaker B: Okay. [00:16:54] Speaker A: I might can go walking or something. You know what I mean? That's why I like going to Cava. [00:17:00] Speaker B: Cava? [00:17:00] Speaker A: Yeah, they like a Chipotle. They like a Chipotle, but they more like Mediterranean style. Oh, okay. [00:17:08] Speaker B: Okay. [00:17:08] Speaker A: They got like. Yeah, I like going there because they fool you. You'll be full, but you won't be like, heavy. Heavy. Yeah, whatever. [00:17:16] Speaker B: What's that in Charlotte? [00:17:17] Speaker A: Nah, they got them all over the country. [00:17:19] Speaker B: Oh, word? [00:17:19] Speaker A: Yeah, we just ain't got one here. They got them in Columbia. A couple in Columbia, Charlotte, all over the place. Yeah. [00:17:25] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:17:25] Speaker A: We're probably gonna get one soon. Yeah, we're probably gonna get one soon. [00:17:29] Speaker B: All right. [00:17:30] Speaker A: Shout out to BMAC in the email. Yeah, yeah. What you watch this week? [00:17:35] Speaker B: I finished up Monsters of God. [00:17:38] Speaker A: That's the reptile thing. [00:17:39] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a five part thing. [00:17:42] Speaker A: And that's on hbo, I think. [00:17:44] Speaker B: Hbo, yeah. What else? I watched. I finally. I didn't. I ain't gonna say I got caught up, but I'm like one episode away from being caught up on lanterns and I saw. [00:17:59] Speaker A: Caught up on it. [00:17:59] Speaker B: I saw the. The pro blackness you was talking about. [00:18:03] Speaker A: Oh, in some of them episodes. [00:18:05] Speaker B: Some of them episodes, yeah. Yeah, I saw that. [00:18:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:08] Speaker C: What else? [00:18:09] Speaker B: I watched. Let me see. Hold on. Oh, I don't know if I should. Well, I'm gonna say it. The Varnett Hill show. [00:18:17] Speaker A: I'm. [00:18:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, what's my. [00:18:23] Speaker A: My mic went up. [00:18:24] Speaker B: I still hear you. [00:18:25] Speaker A: Okay, I'm gonna say this, and then I'm gonna let it be good because you. [00:18:29] Speaker B: We're probably gonna say the same thing. [00:18:31] Speaker A: I didn't watch it, and I didn't watch it because the acting in the trailer looks so bad. [00:18:36] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. The show is bad. It's. [00:18:40] Speaker A: I hate to get on a public platform and talk about a black show. Some people say they like it, but it is not what I. It don't. Tommy Davidson. I don't know if he had a stroke or something, because I ain't want to blame it on old age, but. Yeah, he talked with a little slur. [00:18:59] Speaker B: He do. [00:19:00] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, it's a clip going around now. [00:19:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:19:03] Speaker A: From Black Dynamite. [00:19:04] Speaker B: Okay. [00:19:05] Speaker A: Where he was ordering the food at the restaurant or whatever. The way he talks on that and the way he talks now is, like, different, even though that was, like, you know, 10, 15 years ago. [00:19:13] Speaker B: But, you know, when you get older, your teeth change. [00:19:18] Speaker A: Yeah. But I'm saying. I don't know if it's part of. That's what I'm saying. I don't know if it's age or if he had, like, something happened to where he slowed down. But everybody don't do that, though. [00:19:27] Speaker B: No, not everybody. No, they don't. [00:19:29] Speaker A: Yeah, everybody don't do that. [00:19:30] Speaker B: But I'll tell you what I think about the show, okay? I watched it, and, you know, for, like, a TV show, because this is, like, a TV show, you know, they got to put a little cheese on it. Yeah, they put extra cheese on this. [00:19:44] Speaker A: Then I heard they're doing, like, extra cursing, too. Yeah. [00:19:48] Speaker B: Just like what you talk. [00:19:51] Speaker A: The Mike Epps Show. [00:19:52] Speaker B: Mike Epps. [00:19:52] Speaker A: I don't like that. In a sitcom, for some reason, they [00:19:55] Speaker B: curse like that, but they say, like, shocking stuff. Like, Kim. Kim. What's her name? [00:20:01] Speaker A: Kim Field. [00:20:01] Speaker B: Kim Fields said something about dick or something one time. I was like, you didn't really have to say that. But why. [00:20:08] Speaker A: Why is it now that everything, like, gotta be vulgar? Like, I don't. Everything ain't got to be vulgar. You can have some stuff that's, like, close to the line or whatever, but it ain't everybody. You don't talk like people. I don't get it, man. [00:20:21] Speaker B: You know what it is? People like the rawness that. All right, so when reality TV came out, huh? Reality TV got so big because people like the rawness. So people trying to put that little rawness in that, and it don't go. [00:20:38] Speaker A: No, it don't. I don't want to hear people saying the F word to a laugh track. [00:20:43] Speaker C: Like, [00:20:46] Speaker B: that's exactly what happens. Too. [00:20:47] Speaker A: I'm used to family matters, having a laugh. Tracking. Yeah. Did the Cosby show have a laugh track? Cosby show, they could have anything, you know what I'm saying? You know, the shows like that back in the day, but George Jefferson. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? The real laugh track. [00:21:02] Speaker B: You could see the guy pressing the button. [00:21:04] Speaker A: Yeah. Or in an audience or whatever. Like Martin. [00:21:08] Speaker B: Yeah. But I didn't like it, you know that. I never watched the show, but I seen, like, pieces of it. That Ms. Pat show. [00:21:16] Speaker A: Ms. Pat is Ms. Pat show. I kind of went in it looking for the cousin because she's a vulgar woman. [00:21:25] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:21:26] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:21:26] Speaker A: But it's. That's along the same lines. Like, it's just. [00:21:29] Speaker B: It looks like that. Just more cheesier. [00:21:32] Speaker A: Oh, you mean like the actual look of the show. [00:21:34] Speaker B: Look at the show. [00:21:35] Speaker A: I mean, it's same network, but I don't think this is as good as Ms. Pat, though. [00:21:40] Speaker B: No, I think that might be better. You know what they could have done? All right, so they could have had. And they kind of touched on it because, you know, he's supposed to be a top talk show host or whatever. I think if they did like, like a. Like a skit TV show at the beginning and then cut into, like a real talk show. [00:22:01] Speaker A: You mean a skit TV show? [00:22:03] Speaker B: Like, not a skit, but like, have like a storyline at the beginning, but then cut into a tv. Cut into a talk show. [00:22:11] Speaker A: You mean have part. So I haven't watched it. So like, have part life. His life or whatever, then him doing the TV show. [00:22:21] Speaker B: Yeah, but make the TV show real. Like. Like Arsenio hall or something like that. I think that would have been like, [00:22:28] Speaker A: do they don't do no scenes of him doing no talk show. [00:22:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, they do, but if they made it real. [00:22:34] Speaker A: Oh, so you mean like they do [00:22:35] Speaker B: a real, real talk show? [00:22:37] Speaker A: Oh, kind of like none of the [00:22:39] Speaker B: stupid TV network jokes, but like. Like Arsenal hall kind of real kind of show. I think that would have, like, that would have been a new thing. Like, nobody have done that, but it's [00:22:52] Speaker A: actually a real talk show. Like, he really asking real questions with real people. [00:22:56] Speaker B: All the laugh track stops and now we going into real people shit. I think that would have been like a new day and age kind of feel. [00:23:04] Speaker A: That'll take a lot of. A lot of work. Yeah, probably. It was a show like that with a. What's my man name? He was a white guy. Older white guy, and he had. He had like a. Gary Oldman. [00:23:16] Speaker B: Gary I was gonna say the same thing. Yeah. [00:23:18] Speaker A: It used to be on hbo, I think. [00:23:20] Speaker B: Yep. [00:23:21] Speaker A: And his show was kind of like that. It was like. [00:23:23] Speaker B: Yep. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Sandler or something. [00:23:24] Speaker B: Gary Sandler. Yeah. [00:23:26] Speaker A: He was like behind the scenes and he was like a Asian talk show host or whatever. [00:23:30] Speaker B: Yeah. And I think that was a real talk show on it, like in that. [00:23:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:23:35] Speaker A: So, yeah, I guess that has been done. [00:23:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Now I'm thinking about it. I forgot about that. But that's where Tracy Ullman came from, right? [00:23:45] Speaker A: No, Tracy Ohman, her show was on. It was something on hbo, but it was like little skits. [00:23:53] Speaker B: I thought it was. [00:23:54] Speaker A: That's where the Simpsons came. The Simpsons came from. Tracy Owen. Yeah, but her show was like a whole bunch of different skits. I don't know if it was on Gary show, though. But I used to watch that because that used to come on HBO too. [00:24:03] Speaker B: Oh, Gary used to come on 5. It come on Fox, so. It used to come on Fox. [00:24:08] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, that's what it was. Yeah. [00:24:11] Speaker A: So you watched that? [00:24:12] Speaker B: I watched that. Lanterns [00:24:16] Speaker A: unimpressed by what you call it. If y' all watched the Varnell Hill show. [00:24:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:24:21] Speaker A: Let us know the first episode. [00:24:23] Speaker B: They have Martin on it. I didn't get past the first episode, so I don't know if he's gonna be a reincurn actor. [00:24:29] Speaker A: So I saw the clip with Martin and he playing like Martin cousin. [00:24:35] Speaker B: He's playing the cousin. Is. What's that? That Tick tock? Not tick tock. [00:24:41] Speaker A: I don't know his name, but. Okay. I seen him on there with the [00:24:45] Speaker B: dreads from Wild Nigga. [00:24:47] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:24:48] Speaker B: He's. He's Varnell's cousin. [00:24:51] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. I'm saying the. The. The Martin. Who? Martin on the show on Varnett Hill. Yeah, he's playing Martin's cousin. [00:25:01] Speaker B: No, he's not. [00:25:02] Speaker A: Who is he playing? [00:25:03] Speaker B: He's playing a gangster looking for Varnell's cousin, which is the Hudson guy. [00:25:08] Speaker A: But no, in a. In a. In a clip. I saw this. Now I'm. Correct me if I'm wrong. In the clip, he was like, yeah, my big head cousin on the radio back in Detroit. That was a line he said on the. [00:25:19] Speaker B: Martin said that? [00:25:20] Speaker A: Yeah. Nah. [00:25:21] Speaker B: Well, what's that? Hudson. What's the Hudson? [00:25:24] Speaker A: That was the only thing I saw. That was the only. [00:25:27] Speaker B: What's the Hudson guy? Name from. [00:25:29] Speaker A: That's his name. Emmanuel Hudson. [00:25:31] Speaker B: Emmanuel Hudson. He's Varnell's cousin. He moves there. He's running from these gangsters. The gangster is Martin. [00:25:41] Speaker A: No, but, yeah, no, I'm saying. Because they saying Martin is not playing himself because the Martin character is owned by Fox. [00:25:50] Speaker B: Yeah, he's playing the gangster. [00:25:51] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying. But that was their way of mentioning in the show. So he's playing his own cousin. [00:25:58] Speaker B: I see what you're saying. [00:25:58] Speaker A: I see what you're saying. [00:25:59] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I got you. That could have been. I might have missed that part. Yeah. [00:26:03] Speaker A: Let me see if I can find that clip. [00:26:04] Speaker B: Martin's playing Martin's cousin, not Vernell Hill's cousin. [00:26:08] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I got you. [00:26:09] Speaker B: I got you, but I. I don't. I'm not gonna watch it no more. It's. That's it. [00:26:14] Speaker A: Yeah, I heard the. [00:26:16] Speaker B: The gig is up. It's over. [00:26:19] Speaker A: Yeah, they trying, but, I mean, there's some people that. That say they like it, or maybe they just doing it. [00:26:23] Speaker B: For real. [00:26:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I saw a couple people say they like it. [00:26:28] Speaker B: Those people probably like shows like. What's. What's that Tyler Perry show that everybody like? [00:26:35] Speaker A: Ah, any one of them. [00:26:37] Speaker B: I hate that. [00:26:39] Speaker A: Several beautiful women. Ferrari and Lamborghini ain't gonna be back there. [00:26:43] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. That's the scene. [00:26:45] Speaker A: Shoot his dumb ass. No, no, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah. This the clip I saw. Y' all gotta take this to the parking lot. [00:26:51] Speaker B: You can't let this dumb ass boy die. I don't know this negro this way, [00:26:55] Speaker C: and you know I ain't got the cash, Barnell. [00:26:59] Speaker A: All right, look, why don't y' all take 10% and work the rest out in payments? I don't do payment plans, but since I'm a fan, I will give y' all an extension. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, you know what I'm talking about? Do you know what he talking about? [00:27:17] Speaker B: Y', all. [00:27:18] Speaker A: I ain't got nothing to do with this. I meant y' all him, not y', all, us. Hey, either I get paid or your nephew gets laid to rest. Know what I'm talking about? Yeah. No, ain't talking about. Do you know, actually, you would get a discount at Cedar Freeze Funeral Home in Crematorium. Yeah, we put the fun in funeral. He got me a good commercial. [00:27:39] Speaker B: I like that a lot. [00:27:40] Speaker A: You should bring that up in the next. [00:27:41] Speaker B: I'm doing it. [00:27:42] Speaker A: Shut the hell up. Bring your asses on. Oh, yeah, and by the way, my cousin from Detroit told me to tell you what's up. [00:27:51] Speaker B: Okay, okay, Okay. [00:27:52] Speaker A: I knew I wasn't tripping. [00:27:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:27:55] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. [00:27:56] Speaker B: I'm not gonna watch. No, it's over. [00:27:57] Speaker A: I mean, that didn't sell me. And by the way, my cousin from Detroit told me to tell you, but Martin was sick. He got excused. Vanilla sound a little better on that one, though. [00:28:12] Speaker B: Oh, come on, man. Give labor. [00:28:14] Speaker A: The catfish is delicious. Are delicious. [00:28:16] Speaker B: Yeah, they said they're like three times. [00:28:18] Speaker C: They did? [00:28:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, they did a fake little song. [00:28:24] Speaker A: They said, the catfish is delicious. [00:28:26] Speaker B: The. The little. The cousin Hudson guy. He said, my mama's still mad you stole a catfish freaking recipe. [00:28:33] Speaker A: Oh, they running into the ground. [00:28:38] Speaker B: What else? I watch. I watched Untold Mr. T. I pity the Fool. [00:28:42] Speaker A: I started to watch that. Cause I'm friends with his daughter. [00:28:46] Speaker B: I see you friends with the daughter. I see you up there. [00:28:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Shout out to her. She live in Chicago. [00:28:50] Speaker B: Yeah, see, I see. I see. [00:28:52] Speaker A: Yeah, you're saying that I'll be joking when I be saying he's my peeps. [00:28:57] Speaker C: And. [00:28:57] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, she comedian. [00:28:59] Speaker A: We gotta. Yeah. [00:29:00] Speaker B: Catch one of those shows or something. [00:29:03] Speaker A: Yeah, we do. [00:29:05] Speaker B: I've seen that years ago. [00:29:07] Speaker A: What, the Untold. [00:29:08] Speaker B: Yeah, I think, you know, I used to download shit and watch stuff that way. [00:29:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:16] Speaker B: So I think I caught that. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Is it the same one? [00:29:19] Speaker B: I think they added the beginning to it. [00:29:21] Speaker A: Oh, okay, okay. [00:29:22] Speaker B: But it's good. [00:29:23] Speaker A: It was one. [00:29:24] Speaker B: It's on Netflix now. [00:29:25] Speaker A: He did a. It was a old interview that resurfaced. He was, like, in. On. On like a. No local. He was on. He was on Chicago News on WGN locally one, one day, and they were interviewing him and they were asking about why he wear all those chains and. [00:29:40] Speaker B: Yep. And tell you the reason. [00:29:42] Speaker A: Yeah, he gave the reason that deep. And then he was like, why he wear all the earrings and all this and that. That was dope. Yeah, that was a little dope thing, though. [00:29:48] Speaker B: But, yeah, he lived by that. Like. Yeah, watch the documentary. [00:29:52] Speaker A: I'm gonna watch it. I meant to watch it this week, but, you know, I'll probably watch it this week because it's that. That documentary. It's a Vince Young documentary some sports people have been talking about. But I'm gonna probably watch that one too. [00:30:04] Speaker B: So what throws me off, though? And it's not just him, it's other black celebrities, James Brown and them wearing all this American flag stuff. Like, I don't. Like I don't. For some, it's cringy to me when I see. [00:30:20] Speaker A: You know what's crazy? And a damn American flag. [00:30:24] Speaker B: American flag, bandana, American flag suit. Like, the whole thing. Like, all American flag Though. But you still talk about how they treated us and stuff. [00:30:33] Speaker A: You want to know what's crazy? It was something else I was listening to recently, and I can't remember what it was, but they was basically like, back in the day, people would have a Confederate flag and use the Confederate flag and be like, you know, fuck you, black people, or F you this, or, you know, go back to your country. Now they saying that same stuff, but they holding on to the American flag. So now the American flag is turning into. For, you know, black people especially, is turning into this. The flag of, you know, people that's against you. [00:31:09] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:31:10] Speaker A: And so, like, when you say you see him wearing American flag, it's cringy to you, but, like, you see somebody, like, we in America, you see a truck and you got three big American flags. [00:31:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:22] Speaker A: Flying on your truck. [00:31:23] Speaker B: Like, it's just like seeing the Confederate flag. [00:31:26] Speaker A: Yeah. It should be like something with pride, man. I think it was Bomani Jones. Cause they were talking about. We'll talk about this a little bit later. You know, the 25th anniversary of 9 11. So they were talking about how back, like, if you were alive then and you were grown after 9 11, everybody was like, USA, USA, nigga. [00:31:44] Speaker B: I was just talking about it with somebody. And we'll get into that later. Like, it was to be in New York and go through that. [00:31:51] Speaker A: Yeah, especially New York. [00:31:52] Speaker B: Crazy. [00:31:53] Speaker A: Especially New York. And they use a lot of, like, the government used that for stuff, you know, policy to get over policy like the Patriot Act. The military used 911 for, like, to kind of like, for recruitment. [00:32:11] Speaker B: Boosting people up. [00:32:12] Speaker A: To boost people up to get recruits. [00:32:13] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:32:14] Speaker A: Like, I don't know if you know, but some of the listeners may know. Some you may know, too. You know, whenever they have, like, military show up at the games and they doing this and they singing and they got to fly over and all that kind of stuff. Military pay the NFL to do that stuff. [00:32:29] Speaker B: Oh, wow. [00:32:29] Speaker A: The NFL don't bring them in. They pay. [00:32:31] Speaker B: Oh, that's like promotion, that. [00:32:32] Speaker A: For promotion. Yeah. You see those ads? [00:32:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:37] Speaker A: The army ads and the Marine ads during the NFL games and stuff. [00:32:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I can understand that. [00:32:42] Speaker A: They don't. That ain't free. They paying hundreds of thousands of dollars. You know what I'm saying? [00:32:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:32:47] Speaker A: Per game that they have all of that stuff. It's all, like, propaganda, whatever. Like, it ain't really like that. Like. And they were talking about all of that kind of stuff, but it's just cringy to me. [00:32:57] Speaker B: Just like, Mr. T, like, if you watch the documentary and like, how he was talking about the chains and stuff like that, he said it was for his ancestors, slavery and stuff like that. That's why he. In the same. I think the same interview, he was talking about why his boots are so beat up. And he said he came from nothing. He want to remember that and all this and all that. But now he's older. That's all you see him wearing is. [00:33:21] Speaker A: But he been wearing it. But think about this, though. Out of everybody in the country, right? Like, where your parents from? Your parents from New York, right? [00:33:30] Speaker B: Nah, they from. [00:33:31] Speaker A: Where they from? America. [00:33:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:33:33] Speaker A: Where your grandparents from? [00:33:34] Speaker B: Down South. [00:33:35] Speaker A: Where your great grandparents from? You ever met your great grandparents? You know where they from? [00:33:39] Speaker B: Nah, they probably from down south, too. [00:33:42] Speaker A: Like, for most black people, our great great great grandparents, we know they from America. [00:33:47] Speaker B: Yeah, they from here. [00:33:48] Speaker A: A lot of other people, they great great great grandparents ain't from no fucking America. They from some other country. Yeah, they not from here. Like, out of everybody that live in this country, black people should be the ones that really hold a flag. Cause our people really from America, you know what I'm saying? Back. You go back far enough, you might be from Africa or something like that, but for the most part, we the ones who really from America. [00:34:08] Speaker B: No, well, you know what I'm saying. The only reason I say it's cringy is because in the same breath that person will say how America does them so bad and stuff like that. You know how they were treated back then and this. You know how racism. But it's still wearing a damn flag. But, I mean, Brown is the same thing. He had the biggest song he ever made was Fricking Living in America, Living in America. And it was all happy, happy, good lyrics in it. [00:34:36] Speaker A: But that's. That's. That's kind of like, you know, I'm [00:34:40] Speaker B: not saying there's a. Okay, this is why. Or that's why. I'm just. To me, it's like, why, like, why would they do that? [00:34:47] Speaker A: Like, because. Cause what I said, like, most of, like, James Brown or whatever, James Brown's from [00:34:56] Speaker B: Augusta, Georgia, but he was born [00:34:57] Speaker A: in Barnwell, South Carolina. [00:34:59] Speaker B: Okay? [00:35:00] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? James Brown probably would have been like a hundred years old now. His mama was from South Carolina, you know what I'm saying? So 150 years ago, whatever, however many years ago, his mama was born in the sticks in South Carolina. That's all they know. This they country, so they should be able to Fly that flag, too. No matter how the government treat you or whatever, they should be able to fly that flag, too, with pride. [00:35:23] Speaker B: No, I'm not saying that. [00:35:24] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'm saying that's why they fly it, too. And that's why he can make a song like that. Cause he came from, like Mr. T said, he came from the bottom and, you know, super celebrity or whatever. But I still feel like I'm like, you like to see somebody black fly. Like, they ain't like it too. But you know, Mr. T, him saying, like, he ain't with all of that other stuff. He with, you know, black liberation type stuff. [00:35:49] Speaker B: The reason he wears his hair like that is from a tribe in. Oh, my gosh, where's the tribe at? It's a warriors. It's a warrior's look. They wear feathers and they wear their hair like that in Africa, not in America. [00:36:05] Speaker A: Yeah, so now you put it in. He put more, like, depth into all of the stuff he did. It wasn't just like you say, just for a look. He had a reason behind everything. The chains, the earrings, like you say, the boots, everything had a reason. You know what I'm saying? So when somebody that think as deep as him, he wear the flag. I'm like, all right, it's cool. [00:36:23] Speaker B: I mean, like, not as much, though. You gotta see his outfits. [00:36:27] Speaker A: Nah, his outfits be crazy. [00:36:28] Speaker B: His outfits is crazy. Like this nigga, a flag durag on a flag shirt, a flag jumper, all clashing on each other. [00:36:39] Speaker A: You ain't say that when Juel Santana did it. [00:36:41] Speaker B: Yes, I did. We say that all the time. When people going to the Puerto Rican Day parade wearing all that Puerto Rican [00:36:48] Speaker A: Day flags, it's the same as. [00:36:49] Speaker B: It's the same colors as the American flags. [00:36:51] Speaker A: I don't but see, when people wear a flag, like the Jamaican flag or the Haitian flag stuff, or you know what I'm saying? Them flags, they kind of different to me than somebody wearing American flag type stuff. [00:37:01] Speaker B: Like American flags or something, though. [00:37:04] Speaker A: I'm talking about, bro, that joint was crazy. Like after 9 11. Like, oh, bro, I had an American flag phone case. [00:37:11] Speaker B: You did? [00:37:11] Speaker A: Like the Nokia, the phone, the face of your phone come off. [00:37:14] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:37:15] Speaker A: I had the American planet jump and then I had the. The. The antenna. Yeah. When you call my phone that is stick around. I'll be like, man, I go in the club hoping the call me while I'm in the club. So I got the phone that be going around in the club, baby. Yeah, yeah, I remember that. [00:37:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:37:33] Speaker A: It was different Then, ah. [00:37:34] Speaker B: What you. What you watch, man? [00:37:37] Speaker A: President Curtis. I watched that new snowfall spin off the drop. [00:37:42] Speaker B: How was it? [00:37:42] Speaker A: It looked. It's good. It looks. You could tell it's made by the same people that made Snowfall. Cause it looks like snowfall. [00:37:49] Speaker B: It looked like the last seasons. Cause that first season, I think kind of looked different. [00:37:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it just got that snowfall look. It's a little bit lighter. Cause they doing more stuff in the daytime. [00:38:01] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. [00:38:03] Speaker A: Same good at. It's good acting. Lanterns. I think I'm caught up on lanterns. [00:38:09] Speaker B: I like it. [00:38:10] Speaker A: I watched this movie on. It's spooky. It's a real suspenseful movie on Netflix called the Whisper Man. [00:38:15] Speaker B: I think it says. Why are you watching that? It was spooky. [00:38:18] Speaker A: Cause I. So, you know. Anyway, [00:38:23] Speaker B: so I know how to get you to watch. [00:38:24] Speaker A: We watched the Whisper man, but like, check this out though. So on Rotten Tomatoes, it had the Whisper man at 47%. And at the end of the movie, like, yeah, that's about a 47% movie. [00:38:37] Speaker B: For real? Yeah. You watch the whole thing? [00:38:38] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's spooky. It's suspenseful. Not spooky like that, you know. So it got one thing they throw in there or whatever. But nah, at every turn of the movie, when I was like, it's probably this, it's probably that. That person is probably this. Yeah, I was right. I was right. [00:38:57] Speaker B: I was being funny, though. [00:38:58] Speaker A: Yeah. And then I watched Lioness this morning. Caught up on Lioness. [00:39:07] Speaker B: I'm three behind, man. [00:39:08] Speaker A: That shit gotta be like that gotta be Copaganda too. [00:39:13] Speaker B: I'm three behind. [00:39:13] Speaker A: After every episode of that movie, I'd be like, damn, my life, man. I wish I could have been on a team like that. I should have went in the military and got out of. You know what I'm saying? And then got into law enforcement. It got high. So I could be on a team, flying, hanging out a helicopter, going killing niggas. [00:39:28] Speaker B: Hey, man, there's a dag on a meme. A guy's fully dressed in like goggles, helmet, holding the AR15, standing in front of the TV, talking about we going to get the rest of the team out. [00:39:43] Speaker A: I was like, we going to get Joe? [00:39:44] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:39:45] Speaker B: That's what it said. [00:39:46] Speaker A: We're going to get Joe, baby. [00:39:47] Speaker B: We got to get Joe. Yeah. [00:39:48] Speaker A: Hey, bro, them. How them niggas move, man? That shit be so. And the crazy part about it is. [00:39:53] Speaker B: Watch it. Don't tell me too much. [00:39:54] Speaker A: I'm not gonna tell you no parts. I'M just saying the crazy part about that team is, like, the episodes you did see, like, it's somebody in the world that do that shit in real life. [00:40:02] Speaker B: In real life. [00:40:02] Speaker A: In America, dog. [00:40:03] Speaker B: Yeah. And you know what? I can't remember the guy that interviews a lot of them. It's a guy on the podcast. He interviews a lot of them. He's the first one I seen interview the black guy, the sniper they call the Reaper. [00:40:17] Speaker A: I ain't never heard of him, but go ahead. [00:40:18] Speaker B: Oh, for real. [00:40:19] Speaker A: He was what? He was in the military? [00:40:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Vlad even had him because he killed so many people. Like, yeah, but he interviews, like, spies, and they talk about what kind of gun they carry because it didn't make that much smoke and all sorts of crazy stuff. It's. By the time we get out of here, I'll show you what that podcast is. [00:40:39] Speaker A: So, like, thinking of the one thing that let me know, like, this shit is really real. And they probably tone it down some. You ever seen the movie American Sniper? [00:40:47] Speaker B: Of course. That's a good movie. [00:40:49] Speaker A: So I got a homeboy. I was like, so you know, like in the movie where the guy, like, he was watching over the guys that was kicking in the doors. [00:40:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, you did. Tell me about it. [00:40:57] Speaker A: I got a homeboy that was the niggas kicking in the doors. [00:40:59] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:41:00] Speaker A: So I asked him. I asked him or whatever. Have you. Did he hear of him? Cause they were in the same branch of the military. He was like, oh, yeah. He was like, we were over there. They did a couple missions where he was watching over them. Like, they found out later. He was watching over them or whatever. [00:41:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:12] Speaker A: And I was like, what you was doing? He was like, yeah. I was like, you seen them niggas on the ground doing such and such and such? That was me. I was like, what? And so I got another homeboy that was over there. They went in at the same time, and he was like, yeah, my other homeboy, he was one of the ones. Like, when they would go in and come out, he would be the one to go in and get them to bring them back out after they do whatever, Kicking in the doors and doing this type of shit. [00:41:35] Speaker B: They were. [00:41:36] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So I was like, what? He was like, yeah, but he told me, like, he can't watch that type of stuff. [00:41:43] Speaker B: Some of them can and some of them can't. I do know some people that like watching it. Cause they like certain parts of it. Yeah, but there's some people that can't watch it. [00:41:53] Speaker A: The ones I feel like the ones who can watch it, I could be wrong. Wasn't the ones really in the action. They was over there, but they ain't had to do some of this shit. You think so my homeboy, he told me some of the shit he had to do and he was like, man, that shit was crazy, like. Cause they went over there like 0302 03, something like that. They was over there in it heavily. [00:42:13] Speaker B: That was the time. [00:42:14] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. When it kicked off, that was right after 9 11. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I guess we'll get into that. 9 11. It's the 25 year anniversary of 9 11. You a new Yorker? [00:42:25] Speaker B: Yes, I am. [00:42:26] Speaker A: You were living in New York. [00:42:27] Speaker B: Yep. [00:42:28] Speaker A: What, what do you remember about now? And we probably talk about this every. [00:42:33] Speaker B: I think we. [00:42:33] Speaker A: Every year around this time. Yeah, but this year is the 25th. Yeah, I mean, so, yeah, the 25th anniversary. What were you doing? [00:42:41] Speaker B: I was working for a telecommunication company. I did computer networking. And a lot of our accounts were US Government or IRS or something like that. So we had a lot of accounts with, you know, FBI and stuff like that doing, you know, so that morning, my. One of my main offices was 26 Federal Plaza, and that's right down the road from the World Trade Center. Like when I come into Manhattan, I come passing the World Trade Center. So this morning I had to, you know, just go in the FBI shooting range in the basement just to change like a patch cord. Just something simple. And I was working by myself. My partner had took off that day. So I said, you know, going a little bit later, I don't have to go in, you know, exact time and stuff like that. And I'm getting dressed and I'm watching the TV and I say, oh, wow, look at that. So I'm still tying my shoes, I'm getting ready. It's not calculating yet. Next thing you know, my phone starts ringing like crazy. [00:43:45] Speaker A: Where you at? [00:43:45] Speaker B: Yeah, my boss was like, where are you at? You know, did you get, you know, are you in the car? And I'm like, nah, I didn't even leave the house yet. Don't go nowhere. You see this going on? I'm like, this is real. I'm like, when you seeing it? I'm thinking, you know, I'm not really thinking nothing of it. Yeah, I'm like, It's on. The TV's on and I'm. I know it's the news, but I'm not paying no mind that it's the news or Something like that or something that might have happened before in your mind. [00:44:09] Speaker A: You remember about what time it was? [00:44:11] Speaker B: It was early in the morning. It was like nine. [00:44:13] Speaker A: Eight. [00:44:13] Speaker B: No, it was like eight something. [00:44:15] Speaker A: Because I'm gonna tell you where I was after you finished telling. You know what I'm saying, Your story, Whatever. [00:44:20] Speaker B: Yeah, it was like eight something. But after that, then my phone just started ringing like crazy. And then you couldn't. Like, I live so close. A lot of people, you know, I lived on Staten Island. You could see Manhattan from Staten Island. Yeah, a lot of people work from, you know, on Staten Island. Working in Manhattan, work in Manhattan. So, you know, there's a lot of communication. After that couple of days, you couldn't even use the phone no more because everybody's on their network, everybody's on the towers, and the towers jammed up and stuff like that. So, yeah, that was it. [00:44:53] Speaker A: So you know what else happened September 11th, right? Jay Z. Yeah. So check this out. So a couple weeks before, I got a homeboy. People think I don't like white people for some reason. My white homeboy, he will always get. He would. He would always get albums early. It was somebody he knew in Atlanta or something. [00:45:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:12] Speaker A: That they would get albums early. Like, I had got, like, Outkast album, Stankonia. [00:45:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:18] Speaker A: We had it so early till it wasn't finished. Like, the album, the version that we had was different than that version. They put out. Like, they had added more music. Anyway, so I got Jay Z album two weeks early. [00:45:29] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:29] Speaker A: So I was listening to it. So I was like, I wonder if they gonna do the same thing. Is he gonna add music to it? It's gonna be more songs. Whatever, whatever. So I was working at Assurant at the time. So on my break, I was like, shoot, I'mma leave, go to Circuit City, get Jay Z and put it in my computer, listen to it for the rest of the day, see if it's different. I go in Circuit City, it was like three people in there, and a couple of the workers was standing around watching the tv. [00:45:54] Speaker B: Oh, so you seen it on that tv. [00:45:55] Speaker A: So I'm like, what is this? I'm like, that movie look whack. Like, what is that? Like the Twin Towers. Ain't nobody gonna fly no plane. The Twin Towers. Because I'm looking at it, and it's the rubble, and it. I want to say it start coming down or whatever. Yeah, that movie don't. I don't even look real. I. As soon as I get back to work, they like, you heard what happened to the Twin Towers? I was like, that was real. [00:46:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:17] Speaker A: And this is at a time when it wasn't no social media. [00:46:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:20] Speaker A: You didn't have a TV on your phone? It wasn't. TVs all over the place. If you got a TV, you got a fat ass. So a lot of jobs really didn't have TVs like that. So I'm watching, I'm watching the news and I mean, I see that and I get back to work, I'm like, yo, that shit was real. I just saw that at Circuit City. They fell down. [00:46:40] Speaker B: By the time you got there, another plane already hit, right? [00:46:43] Speaker A: No, so that's why I was asking what time. Cause this was at. I used to go on break, you know what I'm saying? You go to work at 8. I used to go on. My first break was at 10. You get a 15 minute break. So at 10 o' clock, I go to Circuit City, Go there, Boom, by the CD, come back. It's like I get back late, like 10, 20 something. [00:47:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:47:01] Speaker A: And I was trying to remember if what I saw was it live falling or if it was the. Like a replay. I couldn't remember, like when it felt. You know what I'm saying? That's the only part, but I, I do remember that was my reaction, like going there, seeing it, like, that's, that's a movie, but that's a whack movie. Who would do that? And getting back and they like, it's real, you know what I'm saying? [00:47:19] Speaker B: But that's. [00:47:19] Speaker A: And then like the next day, well, after I get off work, you know, I go to my mom house and she's watching the new everybody, you know what I'm saying, for the next few days is everybody watching the news and it's what's gonna happen and all of this. And, you know, they trying to find people and. Yeah, all kind of stuff like that. I had a. Well, a couple years later, my girlfriend, she was my girlfriend a couple years later, after she was from Brooklyn and she worked for like the post office in Manhattan. And she was like, she got stuck and like, she had to walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Like it was a whole bunch of them just having to walk. A lot of people walk trains down. [00:47:56] Speaker B: Yeah, a lot of people was walking. Yeah, it was, it was, it was, it was crazy to be there. Like, you know, I smelled that I moved here in that December after, After it happened. [00:48:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:48:09] Speaker B: People still walking around with mask on. Like, this was before, you know, wearing masks was a thing yeah, yeah. So in Manhattan, they walk around with masks. You still smell that smell. Like a lot of people don't know what that smell smell, but it was bodies and stuff like that burnt and stuff. [00:48:25] Speaker A: That's crazy. [00:48:26] Speaker B: And I did get a chance to go on the site, like while it was. Because they was taking all volunteers. [00:48:35] Speaker A: Oh. They're like, clean up help. [00:48:37] Speaker B: So I work for telecommunications, so telecommunications trucks could just like drive on in. So you know that. Trash trucks and stuff like that. But you know, there's people out there stealing. [00:48:48] Speaker A: Stealing what? Just like, you know, stuff they grab and cleaning up. [00:48:53] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, there's jewelry stores and stores inside the World Trade Center. So there was cases of people saying they were stealing jewelry, you know, from the stores and stuff like that. Stealing bobcats and, you know, equipment and stuff like that. So. But everybody was pro America then. [00:49:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:12] Speaker B: No matter where you went, everybody give you a head nod or get your fist up and all that crazy shit. A year later it was back to get out the way, nigger. [00:49:22] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you was any kind of error back then, you caught hell, [00:49:33] Speaker B: I'm telling you. But they were friendly. They were friendly at the time. Hey, what's up? What they call you? What they call. What they be calling that all the time? They call you brother. Yeah, brother. [00:49:45] Speaker A: Brother. Yeah, brother. Brother and brother. [00:49:47] Speaker B: And there's a hip one. What's the hip word that they call you? Oh, man. This one guy or something, he always. [00:49:53] Speaker A: He always call you that? [00:49:54] Speaker B: Yeah, he called me something. [00:49:56] Speaker A: Not brother, not brother. [00:49:57] Speaker B: It's. It's something like hip, not bro or. I can't even think of it. [00:50:01] Speaker A: But you know, but it was crazy. [00:50:04] Speaker B: 25 years ago. [00:50:05] Speaker A: 25 years ago, 9 11, they had the 911 memorial. [00:50:11] Speaker B: I see that you had it up on the screen there. Yeah, those were drones. [00:50:15] Speaker A: Yeah, those were drones. [00:50:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I seen the making of that. [00:50:19] Speaker A: Oh, you did? [00:50:19] Speaker B: Yeah, it was cool. [00:50:20] Speaker A: Somebody was like when the drones, like dispersed or whatever, like to come from the towers, like it looked like the towers are falling a little bit. Like that was ironic. [00:50:30] Speaker B: Oh, they probably do. [00:50:31] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:50:32] Speaker B: Why would they say that? That's so stupid. [00:50:34] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a lot of drones. It is, but they had like a. Had all of the, like, had some former presidents, some former mayors, like, talking or whatever. [00:50:45] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:50:46] Speaker A: Had Giuliani there. There was some people saying the current mayor Mondami, they didn't need him to be there and all kind of dumb shit. [00:50:54] Speaker B: He's getting a lot of slack, though. [00:50:55] Speaker A: He is getting a lot of Flack. [00:50:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:50:57] Speaker A: Yeah. But for nothing though, nothing. They tried to say that him and AOC was laughing during the reading of the names. They tried to put that lie out. [00:51:06] Speaker B: There ain't no way. [00:51:07] Speaker A: Yeah, but they found that. They found out that to be a lie. They, they debunked that quick. Like it's a whole bunch of. [00:51:12] Speaker B: I wonder where they, where those drones took off from. They need a big area to let them take off. [00:51:18] Speaker A: They had a drone show here for the fourth of July. Like a big drone show. There was practice over here and people was like, what the fuck is going on? Like at the soccer field. [00:51:27] Speaker B: I saw that. [00:51:28] Speaker A: Yep, yep. Yeah. So that happened. Another big news this week. You know I'm a tech guy. We all tech guys, we buy stuff. [00:51:38] Speaker B: Yes. [00:51:38] Speaker A: The newest stuff that coming out. [00:51:41] Speaker B: I was thinking about it now. [00:51:42] Speaker A: The newest stuff that's coming out, that new iPhone, iPhone Ultra Fold, right? Nah, I think it's gonna be called. It wasn't iPhone ultra, it's iPhone. [00:51:58] Speaker B: Is it out though? [00:51:59] Speaker A: No, it's not out yet. It comes out a month after the 18 Pro. So the 18 Pro is coming out and then this will come out. IPhone duo. That's what it's called. Yeah. [00:52:08] Speaker B: You gonna get it or you gonna wait for the next one? [00:52:11] Speaker A: I probably will. [00:52:13] Speaker B: I don't know, man. That fold that Samsung has, that thing is nice. [00:52:20] Speaker A: Yeah, but see people. [00:52:21] Speaker B: Anything close to that then? [00:52:23] Speaker A: So people were talking about that like iPhone late to it or whatever. They've had that phone for six years, that fold. But people are complaining about the crease in the middle. [00:52:33] Speaker B: Okay. [00:52:33] Speaker A: So they saying Apple is doing something a little different or whatever. Like it looked cool when people had a Samsung. It do look cool. [00:52:39] Speaker B: Yeah, it do. [00:52:40] Speaker A: But the crease is the thing that Apple like people was talking about like Apple won't do it. Cause of the crease. Yeah, but they got some kind of nano technology they using for their screen. [00:52:50] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:52:51] Speaker A: Yep, that's crazy. I probably will get it. The cheapest1 is $1,800. [00:52:56] Speaker B: So that's about 500 more than the regular iPhone. Right? [00:53:01] Speaker A: Depending on the gigs. The gigs? Yeah. [00:53:05] Speaker B: It's at least 1500. [00:53:08] Speaker A: What, like the cheapest gig? [00:53:10] Speaker B: Nah, not for the cheapest. [00:53:11] Speaker A: I think the cheapest iPhone was like 13. Yeah, that's the one I got. [00:53:16] Speaker B: You gonna get it? [00:53:17] Speaker A: I probably will. I'm probably replace my 13 Pro Max and get that, get that. [00:53:21] Speaker B: You got that trade in situation. You could do that trade in. [00:53:24] Speaker A: Nah, they probably won't now. They probably won't give me a lot for my 13, but I had that in my 17. Promax. [00:53:31] Speaker B: Nah, they're gonna give you 900 for it. [00:53:33] Speaker A: What? For my 13? Yeah, I already look, it's. They gonna give me like 200. [00:53:40] Speaker B: Oh word? [00:53:41] Speaker A: Cause yes, it's a 13 pro max. [00:53:43] Speaker B: Yeah, they just gave me. Damn. [00:53:45] Speaker A: 9 for your, for your what? [00:53:47] Speaker B: 13. Remember what last year I got the, I got the new phone. [00:53:50] Speaker A: They're giving me nine. I'm definitely getting that. [00:53:52] Speaker C: John. [00:53:52] Speaker B: I came in talking about it, but it's, it's the way they do it. They give you that much, but you still gotta have, you still gotta pay a certain amount within like 24 months or whatever it is. [00:54:05] Speaker A: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You still, you still leasing the rest of it? Yeah, but I mean I do that either way. I'm gonna get, I probably am gonna get that phone. But the only decision I'm have to make is which one I'm have. My main phone. Cause the camera isn't as good as the pro. [00:54:19] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:54:19] Speaker A: The pro phones? Yeah. [00:54:20] Speaker B: I'm thinking about getting 18 if I do get what you got now. I don't think I'll get the phone. I got a 16, but I don't [00:54:27] Speaker A: think I see the only reason I kept my 13 was because for me to get a new line, it would be the same price if I turned it in and I wasn't gonna turn my phone in or if I didn't turn it in and I got a new line and I kept it on. So I just got a new line and kept my phone. Cause I didn't wanna turn in a phone that was paid for just in case something happened. So I just kept my phone. [00:54:50] Speaker B: I think I got mine right after you got yours. [00:54:53] Speaker A: Yeah, I think so. I'm pretty sure. I know you are. Cause I was. The girl at the store was like, you the first person in Florence to get this phone. [00:55:01] Speaker B: Oh, for real? Yeah, yeah, I think I got it like a couple weeks after. Cause I think I remember coming in telling you how much they wanted to give me for my damn phone. [00:55:09] Speaker A: Yeah, they wanted to give me. Now that you said they did want to give me like 8 or 900 for mine. But I was like, I'm not gonna trade. [00:55:16] Speaker B: I held onto it for a couple days. I said well can I bring it back just in case, you know, they gave me the, I could send it in. And I, I was like, why are they gonna give me $900 for this old ass phone? It must got something they want. So I held on for a couple days and eventually I end up sending it in though. I think I'll get the 18. [00:55:37] Speaker A: Yeah, email us, let us know if you, if you, if you not an Apple person. That's cool. [00:55:41] Speaker B: No, it's not. I mean it's cool now when you text me, your freaking bubbles is green. [00:55:45] Speaker A: But you know what I do notice though, where people would, I guess maybe like the higher end Android phones, they read receipts. We can see they read receipts too. [00:55:54] Speaker B: Oh, word. [00:55:55] Speaker A: Yeah, I ain't really like, you know, if you not an Apple person, don't send us no bullshit about Apple this, Apple that, nigga. I literally got five iPads. I got two MacBook Pros, I got two iPhones, iPhone Pro Maxis. Like we Apple over here. [00:56:15] Speaker B: I can't believe that Android never really came out with a strong iPad, like a strong tablet. [00:56:24] Speaker A: I think Samsung got some strong ones, but they ain't as. They not as strong as Apple. Cause Apple tablets is like that shit took computers. [00:56:32] Speaker B: Yeah, that shit took over. [00:56:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So yeah, let us know if you gonna get one of these new iPhones. Some people already do for upgrade. Upgrade. [00:56:43] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:56:44] Speaker A: So what else we got? Another big news. We kind of running a little short. Da baby. People been talking about the baby all week and his food, how he got a $45 waffle. But it ain't just a waffle though. It come with collard greens, Mac and cheese, yams, and they throwing in four chicken wings too. But it's not a regular waffle, it's a cornbread waffle. Yeah, are you. Are you into that? Are you into soul food type food? [00:57:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I am, but I'm not paying soul food type prices like that. These food trucks and restaurants are selling them at. [00:57:28] Speaker A: No, I pay that for. At a restaurant. I don't see. That look good. [00:57:32] Speaker B: It looks good. Is that the place? [00:57:33] Speaker A: Yeah, that's that place. That shit look great. [00:57:37] Speaker B: That don't look like any of the [00:57:38] Speaker A: other ones I seen. Yeah, yeah, some capping going on somewhere. [00:57:41] Speaker B: Something they. Maybe they knew who they were or something. [00:57:45] Speaker A: Yeah, but see, certain fools, I don't like to mix like that. [00:57:48] Speaker B: Like even that box is different. Yeah, the box he got in the back with the cardboard, that's the box I've been seeing it in. [00:57:58] Speaker A: But I mean, $45 though. [00:57:59] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:58:00] Speaker A: I mean, I'll do it just, you know what I'm saying? For one time thing or whatever, niggas was complaining. Niggas was mad. $45 ain't worth this. That and the third. But y' all pay 25 for plates out of people's houses. [00:58:12] Speaker B: I did it last week. [00:58:13] Speaker A: Was it good for them? [00:58:14] Speaker B: I did too. It was jumping, though. [00:58:17] Speaker A: It was good with them. I had a lot of bone in that goddamn oxtail. I know. I was out. I was the last one, but I could have got more meat. Pause. [00:58:23] Speaker B: You had that kangaroo tail, man. [00:58:25] Speaker A: I don't give a damn if it was rhinoceros meat. God damn it. That was good. [00:58:30] Speaker B: They go crazy over. This ain't oxtail. [00:58:33] Speaker A: This is kangaroo. [00:58:34] Speaker B: Come on, man, eat it. Y' all been eating it this long? [00:58:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:58:36] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:58:37] Speaker A: Was it difference? [00:58:37] Speaker B: The jig is up. So what? Go ahead and keep eating it. [00:58:40] Speaker A: It's a lady in. She got a restaurant in. In Columbia. She doing two oxtail plates for $45. No, $50. [00:58:52] Speaker B: That's about right. [00:58:53] Speaker A: Yeah, but she's like, usually. Usually. Now her shit. Her shit a little higher, but she give a whole lot of food her shit. Really? Like $30 a plate. [00:59:00] Speaker B: Oh, wow. [00:59:01] Speaker A: So you're really saving $10 if you get two plates. [00:59:03] Speaker B: Is it that place that starts with the I? [00:59:05] Speaker A: No, hers is Toddy's. [00:59:07] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Yeah. [00:59:08] Speaker A: Then it's a place here that's doing a two for 45 instead of the one for 25. One for 45. They doing two for 25. Ain't that two for 50? [00:59:18] Speaker B: Man, that's what she doing. There's so many. I don't even know. But I know there's a lot of people that's taking this platter look. And the whole soul food on top of a waffle. And they're doing it now. And some people's like, why y' all copying? Y' all just. Man. Yeah, but I'm not gonna get in too far into that. [00:59:40] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:59:40] Speaker B: I mean, they're not the first person to ever do it. [00:59:43] Speaker A: They're not. They're not the first person to ever do it. But I kinda get what that it was one person that made a post about why y' all copying the baby. But that's how everything go. Why you talking about something everybody else talking about? [00:59:58] Speaker B: But the thing is, they're not even copying the baby. Like, what's the name of that chicken and waffle place? And it started in Raleigh. [01:00:08] Speaker A: It started. [01:00:09] Speaker B: I guess that's Kiki. [01:00:10] Speaker A: No, Kiki's out of Columbia. [01:00:13] Speaker B: Then what's the other? Dane's Chicken and Waffles. [01:00:17] Speaker A: Never heard of it. [01:00:18] Speaker B: Yeah, there's. There's two of those. There's one in Raleigh. I think the Other one might be in Atlanta and they had that damn years ago, but, you know, you can't put collard greens on top of waffles without it being the babies now. [01:00:31] Speaker A: Yeah, you know, they do that with a lot of stuff, [01:00:35] Speaker B: which is crazy. I mean. [01:00:38] Speaker A: Yeah, I think I'm gonna go up there and try it up in Charlotte. Yeah. [01:00:43] Speaker B: Not me. Not for that price. Hey, man, I gotta sit down. It gotta be people bringing me water and napkins for my lap. [01:00:50] Speaker A: It's a restaurant. It ain't just a pull up and leave. They got tables in the house. [01:00:54] Speaker B: I know they got tables, but that shit look like a damn. A sports bar. That don't look good. [01:01:01] Speaker A: You seen the inside? [01:01:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it don't look good inside. The outside, the. The deck looks good, but that inside don't look good. [01:01:07] Speaker A: And it's about to cool down too. The deck looked good. I'm gonna go check it out. Yeah. [01:01:13] Speaker B: I do know at one time they did not let people come in with cameras. I think you could still film a little bit on your phone, but they didn't let you come in with a full camera. [01:01:24] Speaker A: Good. [01:01:25] Speaker B: I seen two. [01:01:26] Speaker A: He. He tried to. He defend. I ain't gonna say he tried, but he defend. He was like, yeah, we ain't using that. We using real ingredients. Cuz I saw one person like duplicate it and I could tell them the yams from out the can, but they might not be using canned sweet potatoes or whatever. [01:01:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:01:43] Speaker A: So he was like real cornbread. This ain't gfe. [01:01:48] Speaker B: I don't know too many hip hop artists that they restaurant held up besides Trick Daddy. [01:01:58] Speaker A: There's a few, though. [01:01:59] Speaker B: I know, but the Khaled one is. You know, a lot of people talk bad about it, and I've had it twice, and it wasn't right. It wasn't good. [01:02:07] Speaker A: It's still open. All right. [01:02:08] Speaker B: It's still open. Licking, was it finger licking? Finger licking. Something like that. [01:02:11] Speaker A: But I don't think that's Kalazon by himself, though. I think it's him in E class or somebody else. [01:02:16] Speaker B: Oh, okay. There's a couple restaurants that Benzino's. His got clothes. [01:02:21] Speaker A: I think Luda still open in the airport. [01:02:23] Speaker B: It is, yeah. [01:02:26] Speaker A: It was another one. I was thinking about Trill Burger still jumping. [01:02:29] Speaker B: That's still jumping. That is still jumping. [01:02:32] Speaker A: I think Two chain still going. [01:02:34] Speaker B: Which one? Two Chance got. [01:02:36] Speaker A: He got one in. In Atlanta. It's like a soul food restaurant, I think. [01:02:40] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [01:02:41] Speaker A: I think he had shut it down for a little while and then now it's back open. [01:02:44] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [01:02:45] Speaker A: Killer Mike got a restaurant in Atlanta, but they bought and they mentioned it on the. On the. So they used to mention it on songs back in the day, but Killer Mike and somebody else bought it. [01:03:00] Speaker B: You think. You think this baby one's gonna last? [01:03:05] Speaker A: It depends, man. Like, really all it's gonna take is the right influencer to go in there and say, the food is good. [01:03:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:03:11] Speaker A: And then people gonna keep going because the line was down the street. [01:03:14] Speaker B: I think what they're gonna do is they're gonna start adding some stuff to the menu that's a little bit cheaper. [01:03:21] Speaker A: But the 45 is with all that stuff on it. Like, if you look at the price of the actual waffles. Yeah, the actual waffles is, like, $20. [01:03:29] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. That's a little bit up there, but [01:03:32] Speaker A: I don't know how big. Like, if you get a waffle the size of this iPad, that's about the size, I think. And it's a banana pudding waffle. Yeah, that's $20. [01:03:44] Speaker B: Yeah. I guess they could do that at. At a fair. They can do it there too, right? [01:03:49] Speaker A: I guess. And, like, the. On the video, the guy had a red velvet waffle. [01:03:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:03:53] Speaker A: I think that's $25 or something. [01:03:55] Speaker B: I mean, I don't think I'm gonna try it, though. [01:03:57] Speaker A: I know I'm. I'm pretty much gonna try it within the next couple months, but people saying that he's. It's gonna be closed or whatever, but, I mean, y' all pay them expensive prices for State 48 and all of these places. And Ruth's Chris. Ruth's Chris. Food. The best thing at Ruth's Chris is that sweet potato souffle. [01:04:16] Speaker B: I don't think I ever ate that. [01:04:17] Speaker A: Hey, I've been there a few times. You know, it's all right. You just go just to say. [01:04:21] Speaker B: That's. That's why I never. I always go where I'm getting my worth of money. [01:04:26] Speaker A: I had a better steak at Starfire Grill. I had better steak at Longhorn. [01:04:34] Speaker B: Longhorn ain't no joke. [01:04:35] Speaker A: It ain't no joke. You get that Joan Parmesan crusty, beloved, [01:04:38] Speaker B: like, yo, crisp by water. [01:04:40] Speaker A: Yeah, put that crust on my water, [01:04:42] Speaker B: B. Yeah, I need that. Put the parmesan crust on my water. [01:04:46] Speaker A: Parmesan crust my back, B. [01:04:49] Speaker B: That's the. Dude, that's the. That's the. That's the title for the show. Parmesan My. [01:04:58] Speaker A: Another Other hip hop news. I ain't really cared about this too much. But little dirt. He. He found not guilty on a murder for hire trial. Damn. Not the shoes off that boy. Them fives. [01:05:11] Speaker B: What? What do you say? Knock him out his shoes. What was that song? [01:05:18] Speaker A: I don't know. Dag. [01:05:19] Speaker B: That the from Columbia made it. Dizzy or that's whatever his name is. [01:05:24] Speaker A: Cusco. [01:05:25] Speaker B: Nah. [01:05:26] Speaker A: Cusco the fool. Nah. Oh, but yeah, so he's free. A lot of people talking about that, but they say he's still facing the RICO charge. [01:05:34] Speaker B: They say he ratting or something like that. [01:05:36] Speaker A: No, not him ratting. [01:05:37] Speaker B: Oh, the people. [01:05:38] Speaker A: His people was with him. [01:05:39] Speaker B: Yeah, they said this where ratting goes bad. And they had a picture of them up there. [01:05:43] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Cause they around and rat. One of them was facing like three years now because of some of the. Because he like, confessed to some murders or whatever in that. Now he's facing like 20 or 30 [01:05:54] Speaker B: years that did the Keefe. [01:05:56] Speaker A: D. Yeah, yeah. Shut your damn mouth. Maybe this would be a lesson to these. [01:06:01] Speaker B: No. [01:06:01] Speaker A: But these don't learn. [01:06:03] Speaker B: No, they're not gonna learn. [01:06:04] Speaker A: And the last thing, this our scam of the week right here. [01:06:07] Speaker C: And because our country is making. [01:06:09] Speaker B: Not the President. [01:06:10] Speaker A: The President. [01:06:11] Speaker C: Because we've done so well. [01:06:12] Speaker A: Listen to this. [01:06:13] Speaker C: And because our country is making. Making so much money that only I can make this promise to you. And here is my. If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them because of our economic. Tremendous economic success, like in history, we've never had anything like what's happening. But because of our tremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000. [01:06:56] Speaker B: You get my vote. [01:07:00] Speaker A: You think that shit gonna work? [01:07:01] Speaker B: Never. We're never gonna see it. [01:07:03] Speaker A: No, I'm saying, do you think that's gonna make people vote for him? [01:07:08] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know. Cause people kind of vote for him now because of that. That time when he gave us a little 600 back there. People like him. Cause he giving up some money. You gonna do it? [01:07:21] Speaker A: Yeah. What? [01:07:22] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [01:07:23] Speaker A: Is you crazy? [01:07:24] Speaker B: That's what I'm just. [01:07:24] Speaker A: You about made me curse you out. [01:07:26] Speaker B: I'm just making sure you was gonna [01:07:27] Speaker A: be mad at me for another two months. Remember he said everybody was getting money for that, right? [01:07:50] Speaker B: And you know how many people checking their accounts then. [01:07:53] Speaker A: Then he said he was gonna give money for. For the tariff money. [01:08:00] Speaker B: 3. 3,000. [01:08:01] Speaker A: I can't remember the amount for that. It could have been 3,000. I can't remember. Yeah, you might be right. But he was like, everybody gonna get a check. Cause we got all this money for tariffs. And guess who we paid back? He paid the businesses back. They got extra money from us, and they got tariff money from this nigga. [01:08:15] Speaker B: Hey, it got to the point, I'm telling you, people checking their account like, yo, horrible. I'm gonna check and see it might. They talk about it last week. She was like. Basically like she was on another level now. She's like. Cause I cast a Trump check. I don't know why that. Every time I hear this talk about money, I think about a Trump check. What was the name of that? Not the executive. The professional. [01:09:06] Speaker B: Hold on. It was close to it. Hold on. [01:09:10] Speaker A: What's the name of it? The Apprentice. [01:09:22] Speaker B: She won, right? [01:09:23] Speaker A: I don't know if she won or not. [01:09:24] Speaker B: I think she. [01:09:25] Speaker A: No. What you call it? [01:09:26] Speaker C: One. [01:09:26] Speaker B: Oh, somebody famous. Somebody. [01:09:28] Speaker A: No, she. She got famous. Last name Manigault. Omarosa. Yeah, I think Omarosa won and came in second or something. She got famous basically from that show. She can't. [01:09:37] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it might have been Omarosa. [01:09:39] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, but. But yeah, man. [01:09:57] Speaker A: No, but I said. Mentioned it. It's something you say. You. Maybe it was the thing about a old boy. What he. That post he did. [01:10:08] Speaker B: Nah, I think it was something else. It might have been the damn freaking American flag. [01:10:13] Speaker A: That might be. [01:10:14] Speaker B: Let it. [01:10:15] Speaker A: Let this be a lesson. You write every thing down. [01:10:17] Speaker B: The American flag irks me. [01:10:18] Speaker A: Especially when you get over 45.
