[00:00:02] Speaker A: Gossip, music, news, entertainment, and heated discussions.
[00:00:06] Speaker B: The DJ Blaze Radio show starts now.
Oh, welcome back to another episode of DJ Blaze Radio Show Podcast.
It's always something. It's your boy. Be easy, man.
[00:00:41] Speaker A: It's your boy, Al.
[00:00:42] Speaker B: Hopefully, by the end of this episode, my demeanor will be a little better. I'll be in more happy spirits.
But it's always something to throw me off, man.
[00:00:53] Speaker A: You so easily get thrown off, man. Don't let them. Don't let the folks throw you off.
[00:00:58] Speaker B: That's why I have a plan for stuff.
But, like, if this was, like, let's say, like, this was a sport, right?
And you go into sport, all right, they might, you know, you go to the line. This football, you go to the line, you got your play call. You see. Oh, they might get busted. Play. I'm gonna call the audible. It ain't no audible for this stuff. You know what I mean?
[00:01:18] Speaker A: You know what happens, man? Once one thing mess up, everything behind it is gonna mess up, too.
[00:01:23] Speaker B: It throw you off, throw your timing off.
[00:01:25] Speaker A: Look at that. You know, I'm never late.
[00:01:27] Speaker B: I ain't even blame it on you. I had to hit you and say,
[00:01:29] Speaker A: hey, I gotta be 10 minutes late because.
[00:01:31] Speaker B: But check this out. Threw me off, so. That threw you off?
[00:01:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:35] Speaker B: That didn't throw me off. Because I'm like, okay, in that 10 minutes, I could be setting stuff up.
[00:01:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:01:41] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? So it ain't really. It ain't. That ain't really threw me off, you know what I'm saying?
So I ain't even really thought about that throwing, you know? Anyway, man, we back last week. You know what I'm saying? We took a break. Cause it was homecoming week, and I was kind of tired, man. I was tired after homecoming.
[00:01:58] Speaker A: Yeah, you was, huh?
[00:02:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:00] Speaker A: Partying, huh?
[00:02:01] Speaker B: No, I wasn't even partying, man. I was working the whole time. Cause I'm so Jones from the Music Jones podcast. He the president of our class.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:02:09] Speaker B: I'm the vice president.
[00:02:10] Speaker A: What year is this?
[00:02:11] Speaker B: What year is what?
[00:02:12] Speaker A: Y' all graduate?
[00:02:13] Speaker B: We graduated 99.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:02:15] Speaker B: So, like, had to do a lot of running around, getting this and that, doing a lot of setting up, getting up early. Okay. Being at all the stuff that we could be at. You know what I'm saying? And it was just tiring man. And then by the time Sunday, I was like, man, I'm gonna just. I' ma just rest.
[00:02:32] Speaker A: So no fun.
[00:02:34] Speaker B: I ain't really had nothing. I mean, tried to, but I couldn't. Because I was worried about this, that, and the third man. Like, it was just. I ain't had a good time this year at homecoming. I ain't gonna lie. Except for seeing a couple of my classmates, you know what I'm saying? I ain't really had a good time then on top of the fact that a young kid that I knew got shot and killed. You know what I mean? So, yeah, like, I know, like, I played ball with his daddy. His daddy some years younger, but I played, like, on the same team with his daddy, you know what I'm saying? I know his mama, his aunt, you know what I mean? I know him.
[00:03:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:03:07] Speaker B: Like a lot of his family and stuff like that on both sides, you know what I'm saying? So all of that kind of put a damper on the whole week or whatever for everybody.
Even though you see the videos of people, like, partying and stuff, that was always, like, in the back of everybody. You could tell it was in the back of everybody mind or whatever, but.
[00:03:24] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:03:25] Speaker B: Yeah. So homecoming week was not as fun as it has been in the past.
[00:03:29] Speaker A: Don't worry, there's another one coming up for you to enjoy.
[00:03:31] Speaker B: No, it's not.
[00:03:33] Speaker A: Nope, go ahead.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: I'm gonna go and stay with my mama for the week so I don't have to be in the same city.
I am not partnering with them people. I never do, never have, never will. Shout out to them, though. They gotta be. They might have the biggest homecoming celebration period in the country.
[00:03:49] Speaker A: Ah, wouldn't go that far, period. A and T, man.
[00:03:53] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, they got the second biggest.
[00:03:55] Speaker A: And Greensboro, too.
Yeah, that's A and T. I mean, like, damn. It was another one.
[00:04:04] Speaker B: I can see there ain't no homecoming bigger than A and T. Yeah, man, ain't no homecoming bigger than Auntie, bro. You right. Ain't, bro. I went. I went. Man, I forgot what year it was. Maybe like 2016, 2017. My homeboy told me to come up and I was like, what is this? Like, they just took over the whole downtown area, wherever that was. It looked like downtown to me. And it was just all in the streets. Everywhere you went. Just packed all the parking lots, packed everything.
[00:04:31] Speaker A: I think it was two weeks ago, too, was it?
[00:04:33] Speaker B: No, they homecoming. They ain't had their homecoming yet. No, it might be next week, Auntie. Homecoming might be next week.
[00:04:39] Speaker A: My peoples had a show out there, so I thought that was what it was for.
[00:04:42] Speaker B: No, no, they homecoming. Cause one of the homies, when is their homecoming? You gonna know.
You gonna see A lot of G ho stuff. You gonna see a lot of G ho stuff.
[00:04:53] Speaker A: You'll see celebrity celebrities performing at such and such Coliseum.
[00:04:57] Speaker B: Yeah, not even that. Like, I ain't even talking about the celebrity portion. I'm just talking about the amount of people that go and just how it is just there. Like, it's crazy, like, how many people go. They earn they name.
[00:05:08] Speaker A: Yeah, you right.
[00:05:09] Speaker B: Like, even, like, back in the day, Biggie was like, rapping about Howard Homecoming and all of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Howard got A and A and T.
[00:05:16] Speaker A: Howard was good, though.
[00:05:17] Speaker B: I remember how was good. I was going how it was good.
[00:05:20] Speaker A: That was the thing you would, you know, it was Bike Week.
Miami, Howard Homecoming.
[00:05:26] Speaker B: All of that was in, like, the stuff you, you know, had to do as a black person.
[00:05:31] Speaker A: The Expo, is it African American Expo or the Black Expo? Black Expo.
[00:05:38] Speaker B: What city did they do that in?
[00:05:39] Speaker A: It was in. It used to be. Well, they used to have it in, like, the Javas center and stuff like that.
[00:05:45] Speaker B: Oh, oh, it was in New York.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:47] Speaker B: Essence Fest is on there.
[00:05:49] Speaker A: Essence Fest? Yeah. I think between the last 10 years, that became a big one.
[00:05:54] Speaker B: No, 20. 20, 20.
Cause when I was in. When I used to live in Virginia, one of the dispatchers, he was a little younger, so he lived. I don't know, he had to live, like, in Jacksonville or something like that. But he was like, Essence Fest is in the summer, but Bike Week, you know, is in, like, May. So I was like, man, I had left early and he called me for a train. I left. I'm like, hey, man, I ain't gonna even lie to you. Like, I done left. I ain't even in Virginia. Like, don't put me on this train. He was like, but if I call you for another train by 12am Then you gonna get a missed call or whatever. I'm like, all right. But he was like, why you left? I was like, man, I ain't gonna lie, man. I had to go to Bike Week. He was like, yo, Bike Week.
[00:06:39] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:06:39] Speaker B: He was like, I'm telling you, man, you gotta go to Essence fest. This was like, 05.
[00:06:43] Speaker A: Oh, for real?
[00:06:44] Speaker B: Yeah. He was like, man, you gotta go to Essence Fest. But it really took off. Like, I think it really, like, really, really, like, went to the next. Next level with, like, after. What's the movie Girls trip.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: That was recent.
[00:06:58] Speaker B: Yeah, that was like, in the last five, six years. No. Matter of fact, that was like seven or eight years.
[00:07:01] Speaker A: Yeah. So that's what.
[00:07:02] Speaker B: That's when I think it really took
[00:07:04] Speaker A: like that right before that is when it, like, landed on my, like.
[00:07:08] Speaker B: Oh, that's probably 10 years ago. Yeah, I got you.
[00:07:11] Speaker A: That's about right.
[00:07:11] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But.
But, yeah.
Oh, yeah. Homecomings and. But yeah, that school that you talking about that went. I ain't gonna mention.
They might be if. If somebody, like, outside come here and witness, like, how they do it.
[00:07:26] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:07:27] Speaker B: They might put them in, like, top five of homecomings, period, in the country.
[00:07:33] Speaker A: That's what makes them an hbcu.
[00:07:35] Speaker B: They are.
[00:07:36] Speaker A: And it's a high school.
[00:07:37] Speaker B: They auto.
They like, the last one of in the state.
Yeah, yeah. Cause they, like 160 years old.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:07:47] Speaker B: Matter of fact, this year they're 160th year. So that's the only thing I'm kind of hating on, too. Cause the school. The high school I would have went to would have been, like, right there with them as far as, like, HBCU high school isms.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: You think so?
[00:07:59] Speaker B: I know so. I know so. It was like them two schools was like, you know what I'm saying? The black schools in the period.
[00:08:07] Speaker A: Where did the name come for that one from that one? It was a person named Mayo or some.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. Yeah, cool. Yeah, he was like a principal or something like that. And then, you know, he helped start the school or something. Yeah.
[00:08:19] Speaker A: So, yeah, they ain't got none of that. Homecoming in upper states.
[00:08:23] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what Yoshi said they own.
[00:08:25] Speaker A: Oh, he did?
[00:08:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:26] Speaker A: I thought I was the only one that really realized that, like, when you
[00:08:30] Speaker B: say upper states, you mean like New York? In New York, yeah.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: Flat out, there was no homecoming. Yeah.
[00:08:34] Speaker B: Cause y' all don't go nowhere. Y' all stay in New York.
[00:08:36] Speaker A: I thought about it. I was like, you know what? I was like, I ain't care about school, but did I miss that shit.
[00:08:41] Speaker B: But, you know, homecoming was started by somebody in, like, Indiana, like, somewhere in the Midwest. So he started to get the alumni to come back. This was like in the 30s or 40s.
[00:08:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:53] Speaker B: But they started it just to get the alumni to come back to, like, go to the games and stuff like that. So he created that. And that's really where it came from. But that's really what it's supposed to be for, like, you to come back and you know that. You know that Homecoming come home. You know what I mean?
[00:09:08] Speaker A: Come on.
[00:09:08] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. But, yeah, that was. That's what I did last week. Home. Well, a week before.
[00:09:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:14] Speaker B: Homecoming.
Trying to prepare.
If you. Somebody that just go, just show up, especially if you, like, got class stuff or you alumni and all of that. It's some people that works all year to make all that stuff happen.
Be appreciative, man. I'm telling you, man, people that work all year, that you show up and leave and all that, it's a lot of work.
[00:09:39] Speaker A: You feel unappreciative.
[00:09:40] Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no, no. I think, you know, people should shut the fuck up. I'm sorry. Stfu. And not complain so much, you know what I'm saying? Pay you a little money, whatever, a couple hundred dollars.
[00:09:51] Speaker A: You know, they gonna pay. You know, they gonna complain.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: We didn't even like these shirts. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Who picked this tent? Yeah.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: I don't know. We should have got a bigger tent.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: My man got this. This. All of that.
[00:10:01] Speaker A: Sat your cash down?
[00:10:04] Speaker B: All of that. All of that. But. Yeah. What about you, man? What? You enjoy the week off?
[00:10:08] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I did a lot of overtime last week.
[00:10:10] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:10:11] Speaker A: But I chilled out, you know, I went to Rios.
They had a little special, so I had to sneak out there on Sunday.
[00:10:18] Speaker B: On a Sunday? Yeah, that Sunday. That's why you was like, you sure you want to. He tried, see? He tried to do the. The Jedi mind trick and, like, you sure. I mean, you a got the. You know, you don't gotta record now. You know, he was already halfway to the beach.
[00:10:31] Speaker A: Nah, I decided after I sat here.
[00:10:34] Speaker B: What do you mean?
[00:10:35] Speaker A: You remember I came here. Oh, that was last. Oh, you did?
[00:10:38] Speaker B: That was last week.
[00:10:39] Speaker A: You came?
[00:10:39] Speaker B: Yeah, that was last week. Yeah.
[00:10:40] Speaker A: Yeah, I came here. So I decided after, on the way back home.
[00:10:43] Speaker B: Oh, you was like, let me go. They do have a Sunday special, though.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Nah, it was the.
It wasn't a Sunday special. It was the anniversary special, and it was only at North Myrtle Beach.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: Don't they always have a Sunday special, though?
[00:10:56] Speaker A: Yeah, it's on certain months. They'll run it for, like, a month long and stuff like that.
[00:10:59] Speaker B: It. Like $75 for two people or something.
[00:11:02] Speaker A: Nice.
$32 a plate? Some $35 a plate or something like that.
[00:11:07] Speaker B: So $70 for two people?
[00:11:09] Speaker A: Yeah, but they don't. Ne. They don't label it like that.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: But $35 a plate is good. Yeah, that's great. You get all the meat you want.
[00:11:17] Speaker A: I wouldn't go that far and say that.
[00:11:19] Speaker B: But all the meat you want. See, it's the way you say you get all the meat you want. There's nothing nefarious about that. But you get all the meat. Meat you want.
[00:11:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:11:27] Speaker B: All the meat you Want that sound like shout out to Big Cliff.
[00:11:30] Speaker A: Arby's.
[00:11:31] Speaker B: Yeah, that's Big Cliff.
Shout out to Big Cliff.
[00:11:35] Speaker A: The land was on point, though.
[00:11:37] Speaker B: The land was on point.
[00:11:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:11:39] Speaker B: Or yeah.
You got a.
Anything else you did? I saw you ride. Do a riding video. Bike ride video.
[00:11:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I've been riding the past couple days.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: Word.
[00:11:50] Speaker A: When.
[00:11:51] Speaker B: When this the perfect bike ride. White riding weather right here.
[00:11:54] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I went yesterday. Yesterday. You couldn't beat it.
[00:11:57] Speaker B: Yeah, you was. You went earlier. You went later.
[00:11:59] Speaker A: I went later. I went probably around 3 o'. Clock.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: You was gonna ride your bike over there to the job.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I said. I was near you.
[00:12:05] Speaker B: Yeah, Cowboy was out there saying he.
Hey, he would have profiled you.
[00:12:10] Speaker A: Nut look outta here.
[00:12:14] Speaker B: Cowboy would have profiled you. But see, you wanna recognize. You wanna know which one he was? Cause he ain't had a cowboy hat on.
[00:12:19] Speaker A: I know all them.
Never mind.
[00:12:21] Speaker B: All right. Yeah. All right. We'll keep moving. We'll move forward.
[00:12:24] Speaker A: Nah, just playing.
Nah. But yeah, I thought about coming out over that way, but I went to Harris Teeter and got a. Got a sandwich instead.
[00:12:32] Speaker B: Now you're gonna be going to Publix?
Yeah, Public.
[00:12:38] Speaker A: I know the. The pastries are good.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: I hear the subs good too. I think I had this sub one time. They sub and Harris Teeter subs is about the same to me from what I can remember.
[00:12:48] Speaker A: I think they both use boar's head meat. Yeah, yeah. And that's the.
[00:12:53] Speaker B: That's supposed.
[00:12:55] Speaker A: So that's why it tastes so different compared to like.
[00:12:58] Speaker B: Well, it's the.
The bread. Play a big portion too, though.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:13:03] Speaker B: That's why they say Wawa sub so good because they use the like the same bread they use at like Geno's and stuff like that.
[00:13:09] Speaker A: What's. What's Geno's?
[00:13:11] Speaker B: The.
Ain't it called Geno's? The.
The cheesesteak place in Philly.
[00:13:16] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know what you're talking about.
[00:13:18] Speaker B: Anyway.
[00:13:19] Speaker A: Yeah, y'.
[00:13:19] Speaker B: All. Guess we'll get into some of these emails while we got the people here. Okay, we got an email from the man.
[00:13:26] Speaker A: Hit the button. You ain't got the button.
[00:13:27] Speaker B: Oh, man, don't do that, man. I know I ain't hit the button, man. I ain't got time for that.
All that fumbling and bumbling. I wasn't prepared.
This from BMAC. Say happy 920 to all of the DJ Blaze radio show supporters out there and show fam.
He said this week I Thought about some memories, went back to some earlier episodes.
Even thought about the artists and celebrities we've had. We've been around.
Even one time I acted like or at least felt like a celebrity. Oh, fake Roscoe dad show. Yeah, we did a fake Roscoe. You went to that one?
[00:14:00] Speaker A: Nah, we talk about that over and over though.
[00:14:03] Speaker B: We might be a lot of people's two or three degrees of separation. For real? Yep.
I really wish I was there with you guys recording today.
We did record that day, brother.
Feel like I need to be around people that know them glow bottles. And Club Taboo was a perfect storm. Yeah, them boys had glow water bottles they was selling. You selling that for like $15?
[00:14:27] Speaker A: Nah, I was selling it for 25.
[00:14:29] Speaker B: For glow water bottles.
[00:14:31] Speaker A: Yo, but it was big, man. You know who my plug was?
[00:14:34] Speaker B: Who?
[00:14:35] Speaker A: Luke Oblazi. From Gumbo.
[00:14:41] Speaker B: From Gumbo.
[00:14:41] Speaker A: The gumbo strands and the gumbo chips.
Luca, that was my. That's my plug.
[00:14:47] Speaker B: Like weed?
[00:14:48] Speaker A: No, for the water bottles.
[00:14:49] Speaker B: You said Strand though.
[00:14:51] Speaker A: Yeah, the gumbo weed.
[00:14:53] Speaker B: That's what I said. That's why I said like weed.
[00:14:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. Strand.
[00:14:58] Speaker B: He said me and bro was pouring water shots in ladies mouths and that's crazy. Pouring shots of water.
[00:15:04] Speaker A: I got the pictures.
[00:15:05] Speaker B: Yeah, he sent me a couple of pictures too.
Told him, stick your tongue out if you're thirsty.
Glow bottles of water, nigga. Yeah, that was crazy. $25 bottles of water.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: Nah, but it was, it was, it was. It was right, like you. Everybody didn't have that 200, 150 for a bottle to, you know, kind of be.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: No, but I'm just saying a bottle of water is for $25 is crazy.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: Nah.
[00:15:33] Speaker B: And people was paying it. It's crazy. $5 for a bottle of water in the club is crazy. For a regular bottle of water, it's crazy. You go to the club right now
[00:15:42] Speaker A: for the place that it was at, I think.
[00:15:44] Speaker B: No, I'm just. Listen to what I'm saying. I hear what you say. Don't try to defend it. Listen to what I'm saying.
[00:15:48] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[00:15:48] Speaker B: No matter where you go in the world, you paying $5 for a bottle of water that you can get a case for $3 for is crazy.
That's what I'm saying. Not what they was doing in the club that night. How long did that go on?
[00:16:05] Speaker A: I had it go on for about
[00:16:07] Speaker B: at least a month. Nah, hell, no longer than a month.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: Yeah, me and Blaze had two glow
[00:16:14] Speaker B: parties and people and it turned up niggas was drunk off water.
He Said I could go on and on. Glad I have good memory.
Glad I have good memory. I'll pull up soon and be goofy on the show again. Happy 9 20, he said. Oh, I just realized yesterday that my brother can't be Baby Mac no more because my son is actually B. Mac. So he'll be Baby Mac. Or my bro can keep the name until my son is about 7 or 8. I don't know. We'll. Nah, your son cannot be Baby Mac.
[00:16:45] Speaker A: Nah, he can't.
[00:16:46] Speaker B: He can't. Baby Mac is always Baby Mac. Like, you know what I'm saying? He can be B. Mac Jr. Or something like that, but Baby Mac is Baby Mac. Like, that's the name is the name, man. You know what I'm saying?
[00:16:57] Speaker A: Not B. Mac Jr. Yeah, he B.
[00:16:59] Speaker B: Mac Jr.
Shout out to you for that email, too.
We got an email from the homie DJ High Star.
He says you're. What up, fam? Hope all is well.
Thoughts on Snowfall the Drop?
[00:17:14] Speaker A: I didn't get into it yet.
[00:17:15] Speaker B: That's a shame.
[00:17:16] Speaker A: Is it good?
[00:17:17] Speaker B: Real good.
[00:17:18] Speaker A: Don't give it up.
[00:17:19] Speaker B: See, I like it. Definitely love seeing non Tyler Perry black. Why Tyler Perry always got to catch a stray when people talking shit about shows or whatever.
[00:17:27] Speaker A: People don't like Tyler Perry.
[00:17:28] Speaker B: Some people do like Tyler Perry. Cause he's continuously getting shows on tv.
[00:17:33] Speaker A: Yeah, some.
I. I think there's a lot of people that really just don't like Tyler Perry, though.
[00:17:40] Speaker B: I think it's just.
[00:17:42] Speaker A: I don't like Tyler Perry movies.
[00:17:45] Speaker B: I don't like.
I ain't gonna say I don't like him. Cause like, if you sitting there watching Boo Madea Halloween, you gonna laugh at something. It's something in that movie that gonna make you laugh or chuckle.
I don't care who you are, you're gonna chuckle at one part or another. Something they gonna do in that movie gonna be silly enough for you to laugh.
[00:18:03] Speaker A: So you sit down and like, really would watch that?
[00:18:05] Speaker B: No, but if it's on, I'm not. I ain't saying, like, I'm gonna go Madea Halloween on. I'm gonna go watch it or Madea goes to jail. I'm not going out looking for it.
But I'm also.
When Black Panther 4 come out, I'm not comparing Black Panther 4 to Madea's prison reform. You know what I mean?
[00:18:24] Speaker A: Like, is Boo Halloween.
[00:18:28] Speaker B: That's what it's called.
[00:18:29] Speaker A: Boo. That's stupid, son. It is.
[00:18:31] Speaker B: But Ernest goes to jail. It's stupid. Also, you know what I'M saying we don't compare white movies to Ernest T. Bass. What's my man? Ernest. What's his name was Ernest Campbell. What was my man name?
[00:18:40] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:18:41] Speaker B: You know what I'm talking about?
[00:18:42] Speaker A: I know Vern.
[00:18:43] Speaker B: Vern. Yeah, he was. Vern was his homeboy. He always would talk about Vern.
[00:18:47] Speaker A: Know what I mean? No. Mean.
[00:18:49] Speaker B: Yeah, we don't compare.
Whatever. Anyway, anyway, he said the main character looks like he could be Wiz Khalifa's son or something. His brother looked like Jalen Hurts.
Nip on the intro is fire. Yeah. Also, there's a new season of Special Forces out, and I love watching that show. I don't know what that. I don't know what that show is.
[00:19:11] Speaker A: Special Forces.
[00:19:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:15] Speaker A: I'm had to. Might have to find it.
[00:19:18] Speaker B: He said bees. I used to consider this Emmanuel Acho your evil African twin. I don't. Me and him don't look alike. I don't think so. Maybe if I lose some weight, I look like that and get. And get some hair, but I won't slander you. No longer associate out associating you with some corny like this.
Have y' all seen this nigga and Leonard Fournette back and forth online? Yeah, I have seen. I saw the back and forth and Leonard was like going in his ass. Cause.
[00:19:45] Speaker A: Bad choice of words.
[00:19:46] Speaker B: Nah, he was digging any.
Cause. My man had said something about you don't really watch football, but it's a quarterback from the Bears, Caleb Williams, he got injured or whatever and he got carted off. It was a light hamstring injury, what they said or whatever. He got carted off. And the Acho dude was basically calling himself or whatever he played in. I think he got drafted or whatever. Or was an undrafted free agent.
But the Fournette dude, he got drafted in the first round. He won a Super bowl, so he wanted to. He got some accolades. So he can kind of talk trash to somebody who's in the NFL calling somebody throw him. Yeah. So he was just basically like, yo, you calling him soft, but you ain't did nothing in the league. This, that, and the third. Blah, blah, blah. Like, you can't call this man soft. He was going in on him or whatever.
But I. But I didn't see the online, like, he was on his show actually talking trash to him to his face.
[00:20:41] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:20:41] Speaker B: My man couldn't say nothing really.
[00:20:43] Speaker A: But are they. Were they cool before that?
[00:20:45] Speaker B: I. I don't think so. I don't think a lot of people don't like. A lot of people don't really like him because the. Some of the stuff he say and he talked like he was like a hall of Famer type dude.
[00:20:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:55] Speaker B: When. You know what I'm saying, He. He wasn't that, you know. Okay, now, I ain't gonna call nobody soft who do certain jobs just because the job in and of itself is hard. You know what I mean?
[00:21:06] Speaker A: So I, I get you on that.
[00:21:09] Speaker B: Like if you're a security guard. Now, if you're a security guard and you don't, you keep getting your, your, you know, keep getting your ass whooped. That's the thing. But security guards, you know, normally normal security guards gonna fight and they want to fight. The average person don't want to fight. Like you get security guard, you pretty much inviting the danger to you. Yeah. I mean, so you want to fight security guards.
[00:21:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:35] Speaker B: I think pretty much 7 out of 10 go wherever they got to go. Wishing the would.
[00:21:41] Speaker A: It's different security guards, though. Club security guards.
[00:21:45] Speaker B: That's what I'm going to fight. Yeah. Yeah. Club security guards going to fight.
[00:21:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:49] Speaker B: I got you the. That wear the black jackets with the earpiece. They there to de escalate, but it could go down. Yeah. And you either here or I'm a shoot right in between your eyes because they good. Like, that was hilarious.
Look, I'm trying to get this email in so y' all can have it for the day show. Yeah, you did get it in too.
Yeah.
[00:22:12] Speaker A: So look at this while we still talking real quick.
[00:22:15] Speaker B: Yeah, BMAC sent me that. He sent you this, huh?
[00:22:18] Speaker A: That's crazy.

[00:22:20] Speaker A: Oh, for real?
[00:22:20] Speaker B: Huh. When he sent the email, he was like, I sent you some pictures.

[00:22:43] Speaker A: Yeah, I watch. I watch a handful of stuff.
[00:22:45] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:22:47] Speaker A: Slow horses.
[00:22:48] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:22:49] Speaker A: I think I'm on season two.
[00:22:50] Speaker B: You on season two?
[00:22:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:22:52] Speaker B: When did you start?
[00:22:54] Speaker A: When I talked about it, what, three weeks ago?
[00:22:57] Speaker B: I'm on season four.
[00:22:59] Speaker A: Dang. You like it that much?
[00:23:00] Speaker B: I just binge it, man. I just let it go.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: Ain't no way, son. You watch this and fast forward?
[00:23:05] Speaker B: No, I let it play.
[00:23:06] Speaker A: No sound or something?
[00:23:07] Speaker B: Nah. Like if I. I get home from work, I'm doing something. I got it on.
I'M playing a game. I got it on.
[00:23:13] Speaker A: That's what it is. See, when I watch it, that's the only thing that's going down.
[00:23:16] Speaker B: It don't matter. It's still time. Like, I got you. Yeah.
[00:23:20] Speaker A: I got to get my TV hours up. My TV hours.
[00:23:22] Speaker B: You do, man. The people look for you to damn. Get them something that you get. They. They on episode. I think I might. I'm. I'm either on season three, episode four.
I'm on season three, episode four.
[00:23:34] Speaker A: Okay. I'm at. I'm at like season one. I mean, season. I'm in season two. I can tell you first episode for
[00:23:40] Speaker B: real right now where I'm at. But. Yeah, what else?
[00:23:43] Speaker A: Slow horses.
Let's see what else is. A couple new things. I kind of got on to Widow's Bay.
Another apple. You're not going to watch it. Spooky.
[00:23:56] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Good job. Thank you.
[00:23:57] Speaker A: You watch it, but it's on apple and it's like, you know how they had the ratings?
[00:24:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:03] Speaker A: It's like number one. Number two.
[00:24:05] Speaker B: Really?
[00:24:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:06] Speaker B: Is it ratings or is it just like most watched right now?
[00:24:09] Speaker A: Most watched right now.
[00:24:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:11] Speaker A: Yeah, it's cool. I'm getting ready to go into the second season, so it's super spooky right now. So you ain't gonna watch this?
[00:24:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Good.
[00:24:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:22] Speaker B: I don't care if it wasn't super spooky. You ain't got super size. Give me a small spook.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: That's the one.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: I ain't watching no small spook.
[00:24:28] Speaker A: One boo.
[00:24:29] Speaker B: One boo. One boo.
[00:24:30] Speaker A: I'm out.
[00:24:30] Speaker B: Madea boo. I'm out of there. The only reason I watch Medea boo is cuz I know it's some foolery. It's like some. Some Scooby Doo type in the Medea Boo. I watch that.
[00:24:38] Speaker A: That's today. Too many.
[00:24:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:40] Speaker A: One boo. I'm out.
[00:24:42] Speaker B: One boo. I'm out. We say that for Halloween.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: Yeah, you right.
Dark matter. Did you ever watch that?
[00:24:49] Speaker B: Yeah, I started it. It was too. Damn. I don't know. I think I might be on like season one.
[00:24:53] Speaker A: Me too.
[00:24:54] Speaker B: I started a while ago, but it's like just man.
[00:24:57] Speaker A: And it's slow to you?
[00:25:01] Speaker B: I don't know, man. Like, I tried. I tried. I don't know if I'm a. I don't know if I'm really.
[00:25:05] Speaker A: I'm with you.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: I'm not going back. I ain't gonna even lie to you.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: I'm with you. I'm with you because.
[00:25:09] Speaker B: Because the new season Just came out. I was like, a new season. Like. Yeah. I mean, I ain't watching that. It's too much, man. Like, he go back and he go to his old house and his new house. It's just too much.
[00:25:21] Speaker A: His old me?
[00:25:22] Speaker B: Yeah. Like what? This ain't the rules.
[00:25:25] Speaker A: Hitting up his old me.
[00:25:26] Speaker B: We learn rules in Back to the Future. Like, you can't talk to yourself.
[00:25:31] Speaker A: You can't see yourself.
[00:25:32] Speaker B: Yeah. It's gonna mess up the space time continuum, Marty.
[00:25:35] Speaker A: Yeah. And you'll be in the picture. Disappear.
[00:25:38] Speaker B: Yeah. You had a picture gonna disappear. The picture ain't disappear. The picture ain't disappear. I'm. I'm out. I ain't know what going on.
[00:25:43] Speaker A: Yo, Marty's head was disappearing while he was playing the guitar.
[00:25:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
What else you watch?
[00:25:50] Speaker A: What else? I watched. I. So Fredro Star from Onyx. Yeah, he used to make. They used to have, you know, a couple movies back in the day that they was, you know, producing and directing and stuff like that.
[00:26:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:26:05] Speaker A: And they were like, sing along movies.
[00:26:08] Speaker B: Like musicals?
[00:26:10] Speaker A: Yeah, like musicals. But they were good. Like, Sticky Fingers is real good at that.
Well, they tried to. They tried to make a movie for the club in New York, the Tunnel.
So they're. They're going off of the name and everything, and it's trash. I'm just. I. I'm saying I watched it. They messed it up just to say it's trash.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: Well, you gave it a shot. Shout out. Sticky Fingers.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Yeah, he did.
What else? I watch. I watched Lioness. I'm not all the way caught up, but I'm caught up a little.
[00:26:41] Speaker B: When you say a little.
[00:26:42] Speaker A: Like where I might have seen maybe three more episodes since we last recording the new season.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, I'm up there. I'm up there with that.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:26:53] Speaker A: And another Apple TV series called Last Seen.
[00:27:00] Speaker B: Did you see that last scene?
[00:27:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
Where it's like a 911 worker, his daughter gets killed.
[00:27:09] Speaker B: I saw the.
The trailer.
[00:27:14] Speaker A: It's pretty good. It got a little twist.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: That's all. The trailer?
[00:27:18] Speaker A: Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Got a little twist.
I watched that and that's. That's pretty much it.
That's pretty much all I've been watching.
[00:27:28] Speaker B: So I watched President Curtis, so a lot of the shows I watch are not like, they weekly shows. So I can, like, you know, today this. Come on. I watch this today. Tomorrow that. You know what I'm saying? So, President Curtis, the Drop.
That's the new Snowfall series.
[00:27:49] Speaker A: How many Episodes, Are they in on the drop?
[00:27:52] Speaker B: 3 or 4.
I think the third or fourth episode came out okay.
It's good. It looks like snowfall, but it don't look. But it ain't snowfall.
[00:28:02] Speaker A: Is that Buddy?
[00:28:03] Speaker B: Who is Buddy?
[00:28:05] Speaker A: The rapper?
What, the dark skinned guy that's on that show?
Do you know Buddy?
No. He's an artist. He has songs with Nipsey.
[00:28:17] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know. Oh, the dark. Oh, I don't know who. I don't know who he is. I've seen him somewhere before.
[00:28:22] Speaker A: I'm about to look it up.
[00:28:23] Speaker B: But his name is. He plays artillery. That's his name on the show. Yeah.
He might be a real rapper in real life.
[00:28:31] Speaker A: Yeah. If it is, he's a good rapper. I like him a lot.
[00:28:35] Speaker B: So. So I'm watching that. Then I'm also watching lanterns, which is good. Slow horses too.
[00:28:44] Speaker A: I gotta go back. I forgot about lanterns.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: A lot of people talk about. Was talking about slow horses and then that's what made. I. I don't know if you did you. You were talking about slow horses here, right? Yeah, you. And then a lot of people just like, slow horse is so good. Slow horse is so good. I didn't realize it was like a British show.
[00:29:01] Speaker A: Oh, so, okay, so probably the reason people talking about it. Cause the new episode, the new season had came out.
[00:29:08] Speaker B: Maybe that may be it. But people was just like how good it was. Like, even on like social media. Oh, that's crazy. Yeah. Like people was talking about. I was like, man, one more person to talk about. I'm gonna watch it. So I just started watching and it's a good show. British, you know, British gonna have like regular looking people.
Know what I'm saying? They ain't like extra super fine people.
So it just looked like regular people. You know, it might be a little bit out of shape.
[00:29:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:29:32] Speaker B: Or something. You know what I mean? But it's a good show. So it remind me. It remind me of Luther.
[00:29:37] Speaker A: So it's not. Yeah. It's not as like, if you say it's British, I'm not. I'm like, I ain't gonna watch it. But it's. The dialect is not that strong, is it?
[00:29:49] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:29:50] Speaker A: To you.
[00:29:50] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. That's how they talk. You ever watch Luther? Yeah, but it's like Luther, it's like Millie Black. It's like all of them shows. It ain't as. It's not as.
What's that show where they was like selling drugs and stuff?
[00:30:05] Speaker A: Top boy.
[00:30:06] Speaker B: Top boy. It ain't as bad as Top Boy. But I think it's not as bad as Top Boy because Top Boy is like in the hood. So they don't talk. Like they might use a little more slang. And they like, even like here, like somebody in Atlanta talk different than somebody in South Carolina, then talk different than somebody in Florida, than New Orleans, Even though all of it is the South.
[00:30:27] Speaker A: Who's the old guy? The old guy in the show.
[00:30:29] Speaker B: You mean the old guy, you know,
[00:30:31] Speaker A: the old, what, CIA detective or whatever?
[00:30:34] Speaker B: Yeah, he's a. I forgot.
[00:30:36] Speaker A: He played in a lot of other things.
[00:30:37] Speaker B: They playing a lot of stuff. I remember him most as playing in the Fifth Element. He played in the Fifth.
[00:30:44] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was a lot younger.
[00:30:45] Speaker B: Yeah, he was a lot younger. Yeah, yeah, but. And he had like a little a different accent in that movie too. In the Fifth Element, like, it was like a Southern.
It was like a southern New York accent. It was crazy. But I think they did that on purpose because I guess for like time, like, because they were so far in the future, I felt like they was putting that on there to be like
[00:31:06] Speaker A: they made their own dialect for.
[00:31:07] Speaker B: Yeah, they got their own accent because you know what I'm saying? Time, whatever. But yeah, that show's good.
Mob Land is back.
[00:31:16] Speaker A: I gotta go back. Cause I stopped like season one.
[00:31:20] Speaker B: That show's so good.
That show is so good. It's gangster.
[00:31:24] Speaker A: It's that bad.
[00:31:24] Speaker B: It's crazy, but it's good.
[00:31:26] Speaker A: What are they up to? Like season three,
[00:31:29] Speaker B: two or three? I think it's season three.
[00:31:30] Speaker A: Cause I stopped and I wasn't sure if I was gonna go back.
[00:31:35] Speaker B: And then the last thing I'm watching, they put out two episodes a week.
Jay Z and eight. So it's gonna be eight episodes of Jay Z, like breaking down his songs and records and stuff.
[00:31:45] Speaker A: How many?
Him and Rick Rubin sitting down. Right.
So how many episodes they put out? Four already.
[00:31:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:53] Speaker A: Good.
[00:31:54] Speaker B: Yep. So they put out two every week, so. Two. They put out two the first week, two this week, and then probably two next Friday.
[00:32:01] Speaker A: And that's hbo.
[00:32:02] Speaker B: Uh huh. All right. Yep. He said one line, like, he talk about a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff. You know, you can catch in the songs.
[00:32:09] Speaker A: That Kobe Breakdown was crazy.
[00:32:11] Speaker B: That was crazy. The Kobe Jones, like, it had three different meanings. Three different meanings, bro. I'mma tell you one that you. You might have heard it. So you know, in the song Can I Live, he be like. And I keep one eye open. Like cbs.
[00:32:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:24] Speaker B: You know, CBS is got the eye Logo.
[00:32:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:26] Speaker B: But he was like, I keep one eye open. But then he was like, you know, I see BS Like, I can see bs. I see the bullshit.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: I can see bs.
[00:32:35] Speaker B: I was like, oh, shit. I ain't never thought about that.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: How did he do that shit?
Like, how did he come up with that shit?
[00:32:42] Speaker B: Crazy, bro.
[00:32:43] Speaker A: Three meanings for one freaking verse.
[00:32:47] Speaker B: And so Rick Rubin asked him. He was like, how long do it take you to, like, write? Like, was that one that you just sat back? It was one song. He was like, was that. Oh, it was Allure.
I think it was Allure. Cause the Allure, that's my favorite song.
[00:33:00] Speaker A: I was gonna say you just put that on the post, too. That was different.
[00:33:04] Speaker B: And he did. When he did. When that song came on on the thing, I was like, oh, shit, he doing Allure. You know what I mean? But it was either that or maybe it's a song on the paid in full soundtrack. Don't you know one of them songs? He was like, so did you sit down, like, an hour and write this or whatever did, you know, leave with it? He was like, nah, I wrote it in, like, 15 minutes.
He was like, he always write his songs in 15 minutes. He was like. He just come to him.
[00:33:29] Speaker A: How the.
He got a gift.
[00:33:31] Speaker B: Yeah. And he was like, Rick Rubin asked him, like, do he, like, write a line and then do he, like, piece it all together? He's like, nah, it all come out. You know what I'm saying? The same.
[00:33:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:33:41] Speaker B: Like how you hear the song that how he write it? Like, he don't piece the stuff together. Whatever, whatever. Like. And then a lot of people, like, if you listen to him, it's a song he do with Scarface called.
[00:33:58] Speaker A: Where I'm From.
[00:33:59] Speaker B: No, not Where I'm From, Danny with Scarface.
[00:34:00] Speaker A: Guess who's back.
[00:34:01] Speaker B: No, it's a slower song. So in the song Scarface rap about him getting a phone call about one of his friends, kids dying or whatever. I heard this story before, but Scarface told the story. But Jay tell the story again. So, like, they were about to do have a session. The dude called and said his son got killed. And then Scarface basically wrote that record about that, like, on the spot. Oh, wow. And it's a hard. It's a hard. It's a hard verse, too.
[00:34:31] Speaker A: Oh, it is a slow one. I remember.
[00:34:33] Speaker B: Cause this Can't Be Life. That's the name of the song.
[00:34:35] Speaker A: Yeah. I was gonna say this Can't Be Life. They got so many songs together. I didn't Realize it.
[00:34:39] Speaker B: But it's that one. But yeah, it's good. But, like, I don't know if you on threads or you. Like, you don't really be on social media too much no more like you a post and dip out or whatever. But, like, on threads and all of that. So him and Colin Kaepernick, he had. Remember he said the thing about Colin Kaepernick.
[00:34:56] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:34:56] Speaker B: In the freestyle.
So Colin Kaepernick going, like, he releasing a book, and he been going around on different stuff, talking about his deal with the NFL and how he felt like Jay Z betrayed him or whatever. Whatever. So a lot of people on social media was talking about Jay Z ain't shit.
He took the money and ran. And this, that, and the third, whatever, whatever. So all that talk, man, at the beginning, man, I was like, man, this shit is spoiling my.
Me watching this the first. Cause I'm like, man, like, damn. I'm trying to enjoy this shit. Niggas talking shit about him or whatever.
[00:35:29] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:35:29] Speaker B: But this shit just too good, man. Like, now I'm seeing on threads, like, people like, yo, I ain't knew this meant that and this, that, and the third, or whatever. So. But it's a good. It's a good show to watch, like, if you really like music.
[00:35:41] Speaker A: And that's crazy how brain works, man. Like, I guess everybody. Everybody's brain works in different ways.
And that just shows how his work.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: Yeah, it's some. Some people, man. Like, and I feel like the majority of people. I ain't gonna say the majority. Cause a lot of these people stupid, but it's people that have, like, certain things that they could do, like, really, really, really well that like, it. Like, you ever see, like, Kyrie Irving dribble the ball in traffic and stuff? Even though that come with a lot of practice. Like, it, like, he got the ball on the rope, like it just. And he ain't missing a beat or like.
[00:36:18] Speaker A: But that's different, though. That's like muscle memory. Cause it's probably been dribbling since he was a kid, you know?
[00:36:26] Speaker B: Yeah, it kind of is. But to note to like, to have a counter for, like, when somebody's swiping at the ball and he gotta move for that, and then right after that, he gotta move for somebody else coming. Like, stuff like that are like.
And it come from a lot of practice, too. But some people just like.
Like how I gave the analogy about, like, audible in football, you come to the line. Like, some players, they'll come to the line and they'll know exactly. By the way the defense lined up, they know exactly what they're gonna do and so they'll call a different play. Everybody can't do that.
[00:37:01] Speaker A: So what do you think your mind, your brain do special that everybody else not. Not that everybody else don't do, but name something you think you are good at that you do naturally, like your brain. Because I know, you know, I always mess with you saying you got to always focus on one certain thing.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:23] Speaker A: But at the same time, you have one folk that one focus might be strong, way stronger than somebody else's, you know, casual focus. You know what I'm saying? What do you think is your like top brain thing that you can do?
[00:37:38] Speaker B: I don't know. Cause it might be something I do that somebody see and they be like, how you did that? Or whatever. But I don't know, like. And then I might like, expect somebody else to be able to do it. Yeah, kind of like, you know, like they be saying, like, people that play basketball real good or play a sport real good, they not the best coaches. Cause they expect people to be able, like, damn, what do you mean? Like, Jordan be like, what do you mean you can't do the turnaround shot, fade away nigga and shot and make it. What do you mean you can't do that? Like, it's shit like that. Like, I don't know, man. I don't know.
I really don't know what it is for myself. Unless somebody like, pointed out and say, like, how you did that? Like, we was watching a video of a little kid.
He's my coworker, his homeboy son or whatever, and he was just like naming numbers. He was like, what is. He did like, what's 90 times 90 times 90?
The boy 4. He was just like.
He named it out like. And then he was like, just naming a whole bunch of different numbers or whatever.
I don't know if he autistic or not, but yeah, he just good with numbers. Like, he. He said he just played with the calculator.
[00:38:44] Speaker A: Oh, for real?
[00:38:45] Speaker B: Yeah, like, he just like, no numbers like that. And he four years old.
[00:38:48] Speaker A: Yeah, he's autistic.
[00:38:49] Speaker B: I don't know if he autistic or not because his. Because I don't know if he autistic or not, but he just like that with numbers. And I asked him like, is he like that with words too? He was like, he don't know about words and stuff like that, but he know with numbers. He great with numbers like that.
[00:39:04] Speaker A: But that's Dope.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: I feel like it's something like that for everybody that they can. You know what I'm saying? Some of the stuff like. Like the sports stuff, you can't just walk on a football field and do that. You can't just walk on the basketball field and do that. I mean, basketball court and do that. You gotta have some kind of practice. You gotta practice to get it. Yeah, but some people, like, ceiling is way higher than other people's ceilings when it comes to certain stuff. Like even, like, the stuff with Jay writing.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:39:28] Speaker B: The songs.
It didn't come like. Like, he loved to write. Like, he loved doing music. He said it. But he said he had to learn how to do it like that because he couldn't take his notepad to different places he was going, and he couldn't, like, write it on slips of paper because he would lose the paper. So he would just start remembering it.
[00:39:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:39:45] Speaker B: So that was. You know what I'm saying? That was something he worked on.
[00:39:48] Speaker A: I got one thing. I kind of. I found myself doing it, and now I do it more because I'm sharpening a skill.
[00:39:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:56] Speaker A: Like, say I'm getting up in the morning, getting ready for, you know, dressed or whatever.
[00:40:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:40:01] Speaker A: I find myself, and I do it more now because I'm aware of it. Like, if my pants are here and I'm gonna put my pants on and I'm Put my shoes on after my hand is already on the shoe and I'm doing the pants or whatever, you know, or just, like, walking in the bathroom, if I'm closing the door all the way and trying not to make it make a noise, and I'm getting ready to brush my teeth, my other hand's already on the toothbrush, and I'm starting to do things more like that. Cause, you know, I'm not saying for fighting skills and fighting, you know, moving and stuff like that.
[00:40:35] Speaker B: I know what it is.
What, you autistic?
[00:40:38] Speaker A: Nah. There's nothing wrong with being autistic.
I ain't say I had to close the door three or four times. Times.
[00:40:46] Speaker B: Nah, that's. That's ocd.
[00:40:47] Speaker A: That's ocd, bro.
[00:40:48] Speaker B: That's ocd.
[00:40:49] Speaker A: Yeah. No, artistic is not.
It's not.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: I think everybody got a little piece of it, but I don't know about that little boy. Like, that's why I was like, I don't know.
[00:40:59] Speaker A: Yeah.
I think it's a form of artistic.
Artign. Artisticness.
[00:41:04] Speaker B: Is it not artisticness.
[00:41:06] Speaker A: What is it?
[00:41:07] Speaker B: Autism.
[00:41:07] Speaker A: Autism. There you go.
[00:41:09] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:41:11] Speaker A: Nah, that was just, you know, I was talking. I wasn't thinking. I just set it out there.
[00:41:15] Speaker B: That's cool.
[00:41:16] Speaker A: It's not like I never heard the word before.
[00:41:18] Speaker B: I. I mean, the way you said it, it sounds like you had to do that, but I had to put
[00:41:22] Speaker A: it in the right place.
[00:41:23] Speaker B: I'll just fuck with you. I just.
[00:41:25] Speaker A: With you.
[00:41:25] Speaker B: I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. Like, my thing. I don't know. It might be like test taking or some shit.
[00:41:33] Speaker A: Nah, it's freaking. I know what it is.
[00:41:35] Speaker B: What is it?
[00:41:35] Speaker A: Being able to watch three movies and play a video game at the same time.
[00:41:38] Speaker B: I don't be playing attention to like something ain't getting 100% attention though.
[00:41:43] Speaker A: Yeah, but you gotta.
[00:41:44] Speaker B: I just have it on for like, entertainment. But I don't have the sound on. On the video game, so I'm listening to the show.
[00:41:50] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:41:51] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
[00:41:51] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:41:52] Speaker B: I ain't really why I'm not watching both of them at the same time. Like, I might glance down at the TV while I'm playing the game, but it's really just me trying to get two things taken care of at one time.
[00:42:01] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: Cause I ain't gonna play the game and not. You know what I'm saying? I feel like I'm.
I feel like I'm accomplishing two things at one time. You know what I'm saying?
[00:42:08] Speaker A: I swear this. They got his on fast forward.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: I don't. Man.
[00:42:12] Speaker A: It's on 3x.
[00:42:14] Speaker B: Nah, I can't, I can't. I tried that with a podcast before. Like, like, listen to it double time. Yeah, I didn't like it. I didn't like it. The tone was a little off, but yeah, that's all I watched. That's all. That's all we really did, man.
[00:42:26] Speaker A: I'm gonna watch that Jay Z tonight.
[00:42:28] Speaker B: Yeah, go ahead, man. That good. That gonna have you vibing.
[00:42:31] Speaker A: I seen that one thing with that, with that.
[00:42:33] Speaker B: That Kobe.
[00:42:34] Speaker A: Kobe. I'm like, why would he.
I'm thinking to myself, why would he.
Why would he make three meanings for one freaking sentence?
[00:42:44] Speaker B: I wanted that enough.
[00:42:46] Speaker A: Like, is not even paying attention to that.
[00:42:48] Speaker B: That's why he said, do you listen to music or do you just skim through it? Yeah, yeah, like. And he don't. And then like, I don't know, man. I. I ain't. I don't really gotta say, know that's my favorite rapper.
[00:43:01] Speaker A: When I was watching it, I was.
I was saying, to myself, he had to do a documentary like this. He had to do something like this so people could really catch.
[00:43:13] Speaker B: He already did something like that. He came out with a book called Decoded, and he talk about, like, the lyrics up until that point, like, in different songs and stuff.
[00:43:21] Speaker A: Yeah, okay.
[00:43:22] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: And him sitting down with Rick Rubin. That's dope.
[00:43:26] Speaker B: Yeah. And then people. I saw people was like, why he sitting down with that white man? No, he's sitting down with his old boss.
[00:43:30] Speaker A: True. They don't know who Rick Rubin is.
[00:43:32] Speaker B: They don't. And he wasn't even his old boy boss.
Like, he wasn't. He didn't.
[00:43:36] Speaker A: Like when he wasn't signed. Yeah. Rick. Rick didn't have Def Jam.
[00:43:41] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:42] Speaker A: At the time.
[00:43:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, he was. He had done. Gave it up and just was producing.
[00:43:46] Speaker A: You know how rich that white man is.
[00:43:48] Speaker B: It's one.
One scene in Fade to Black.
And that might be something, too, that I do good. Like, I can.
I can catch the joke or catch the line or. It don't even got to be a joke. So in Fade to Black, Rick Rubin. Like Jay. Cause Rick Rubin did 99 problems.
And when they were there, it was. Rick was talking. No, Jay was telling one of the guys that came with him that Rick Rubin had a Grammy for LL Cool J.
And he was like a rock band or like a country song, too. It was like he got a Grammy for all three of these. But the guy didn't catch what Jay was saying. Jay was basically saying, like, this one person got a Grammy in these three genres that ain't really alike.
You know what I'm saying? But the guy was like. Yeah, just chilling. Like the. The dude that was there with Jason, with Jay, I can't think. I think they. Nah, it ain't Fat Face.
[00:44:37] Speaker A: For real.
[00:44:38] Speaker B: It ain't Big Face, Gary. It's another dude that. Be with them sometime. I'm gonna show you the clip, though. But. Yeah, but, like, that's. That's who Rick Rubin is. Like, that. A genius.
[00:44:48] Speaker A: Rick Ruben is the Beastie Boys. Rick Rubin is Run dmc. He is freaking Curtis Blow. All those.
[00:44:57] Speaker B: Even the way 99 problems come on with Jay saying that acapella. He said to Jay, like, he was like, maybe we could start the song like this.
[00:45:05] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:45:05] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
[00:45:06] Speaker A: Producing it.
[00:45:07] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that dude is.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: 99 problems is a remake.
[00:45:11] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
Iced tea.
[00:45:15] Speaker A: Iced tea. So, yeah.
[00:45:16] Speaker B: No, well, not really a remake.
[00:45:18] Speaker A: He pulled a line from it and base it off of it.
[00:45:22] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
But yeah, we had some other stuff, I guess.
Neil Long got a damn Neil Long.
[00:45:32] Speaker A: So what, you don't think she deserve it?
[00:45:34] Speaker B: Yeah, she do, but I'm just saying, I mean, we ain't gonna get too far into it, but Neil Long got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Shout out to Neil Long. I ain't wanna go out. Cause I was gonna talk about it last week, but we ain't recorded. But shout out to Nia Long, her fine self.
Yep.
[00:45:49] Speaker A: She deserve it.
[00:45:51] Speaker B: I mean, I get yes.
[00:45:52] Speaker A: What movie make you say? All right. Yo, she need to get something.
[00:45:55] Speaker B: She's soup, that's who. Is that her mama? Yeah, maybe that her sister.
Gotta be her sister.
[00:46:01] Speaker A: Nah, it's too old.
[00:46:03] Speaker B: Near 50 something that her sister might be 60 something.
Oh, that's a. That's who. Demi. That's her ex husband who cheated on her.
[00:46:13] Speaker A: He did what?
[00:46:14] Speaker B: That doesn't do with anything but do like one special movie for Neil. I don't know. She just had a long career, like, being right there. Like, you know what I'm saying? Right? Like Neil, like, just ain't nothing wrong with being right. You don't got to be up here. Cause when you up here, you got. You can go there. But if you right here the whole time, just steady.
She's steady right here the whole time. That's all you need.
[00:46:37] Speaker A: We talk about this Walk of Fame and who deserves it and all that. Is this her time to get it?
[00:46:45] Speaker B: If not now, then when?
[00:46:47] Speaker A: Cause what's called just got his.
[00:46:48] Speaker B: Who?
[00:46:49] Speaker A: Keith David.
[00:46:51] Speaker B: I think Keith David. Is Neil Long more famous than Keith David?
More famous. Now you might know Keith David's voice. If I say he the nigga who leg fell off in Dead President, be like, oh, that dude. But you know Neil Long by name. A lot of people don't know Keith David by name.
Which ain't got nothing to do with his acting abilities or nothing. But yeah, even though Neil Long ain't got home cartoon, he got multiples.
[00:47:21] Speaker A: Yeah, Keith David, that's a tough one.
[00:47:24] Speaker B: I think both of them deserve it because it's the Walk of Fame.
[00:47:27] Speaker A: We gotta come up with a list of people like, yo, these are names you need to know because this is such and such. This is. You know.
[00:47:34] Speaker B: Do you think Bouquem Woodbine deserves.
[00:47:36] Speaker A: Definitely should be on a walk of Fame? No. No.
[00:47:40] Speaker B: Okay, not yet. Yeah. Stop trying to finish my sentence.
[00:47:43] Speaker A: Yeah, not yet.
[00:47:44] Speaker B: Not yet. But I mean, he probably got. Do he got bigger stuff than Neil Long?
[00:47:49] Speaker A: No, Neil Long was in Tyler Perry Right. She was in Tyler Perry.
[00:47:54] Speaker B: Tyler Perry. She was in why Did I Get Married? No, she was not in that.
[00:47:58] Speaker A: I'm asking.
I don't watch Tyler Perry.
[00:48:02] Speaker B: Do you not watch it because it's Tyler Perry?
[00:48:04] Speaker A: Yes, because when it's a Tyler Perry, it's a something different. It's a something about it that's not gonna be right.
[00:48:11] Speaker B: What's the last Tyler Perry thing you watched?
[00:48:13] Speaker A: Probably Alex Cross.
[00:48:15] Speaker B: Really?
[00:48:15] Speaker A: And that was good. Okay, so it wasn't a Tyler Perry. Tyler.
[00:48:19] Speaker B: No, I'm saying, what's the Tyler Perry production that you. The last one you watched.
[00:48:22] Speaker A: Oh,
[00:48:25] Speaker B: did you watch Girls Trip?
[00:48:26] Speaker A: Is that Tyler Perry?
[00:48:27] Speaker B: No, that wasn't good. That one Tyler Perry.
[00:48:29] Speaker A: It looked like it though.
[00:48:29] Speaker B: No, it just. I mean, Tyler Perry stuff don't look good.
[00:48:32] Speaker A: Look like it.
[00:48:33] Speaker B: You don't think Tyler Perry have good cinematography?
[00:48:35] Speaker A: No, I'm not saying that.
[00:48:36] Speaker B: Good crisp.
[00:48:37] Speaker A: Nah, it's crisp and I might have seen why did I Get Married? Because Janet Jackson was in it.
[00:48:42] Speaker B: Oh, so you doing the bending. Whoa, whoa. That's what that. You don't remember that scene?
[00:48:47] Speaker A: No.
[00:48:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause her husband was like. She found. And it was. It was Ghost. And he was. She was like, nigga said Ghost. That was his name. Ghost.
I'm in Ghost.
[00:49:00] Speaker A: Amari Hardbrick.
[00:49:02] Speaker B: Amari Hardbrick. I know his name, but he Ghost. But anyway, it was that she was having. He was having sex with men.
And he's like, you getting bent over by me? He's like, I ain't getting bent over by no man. And then she turned to look at him. She's like, oh, you doing the bending?
He was like, Cause B. Mac love this line. She was like, he be like, I'm a man, Joe. You know what I'm saying? And that's what it was. She's like, I'm a man, Joe. And then she look at him. She was like, so you doing the bending?
[00:49:32] Speaker A: Is that when she was crying?
[00:49:33] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Cuz I wanted to his A's anyway. But yeah, Tyler per. Some stuff that's, you know, entertaining. You watch it if it's on. I watch it. But like click on it if it's something Like a lot of people talking about like acrimony. I think I went to movies to see acrimony, though.
I started watching the last why Did I Get Married?
That's on Netflix.
[00:49:58] Speaker A: That just started. That just came out, right?
[00:49:59] Speaker B: Yeah, a few weeks ago.
The shows. I don't really much watch the shows like that that come on like TBS or Whatever channel they come on, but I ain't gonna hate on it. A lot of people were comparing, you know, it's a new, different world.
[00:50:13] Speaker A: They getting a lot of bad talk already.
[00:50:16] Speaker B: But see, I'm seeing a lot of good talk. I'm seeing people's like, yo, I done watched it all. It just came out whatever day. People was like, I done watched all 10 episodes, and you know what I'm saying? So I've seen that. But I've also seen people say, like, this looked more like a Tyler Perry show than it looked like whatever, whatever, like a scripted sitcom like it used to be or whatever. And people like.
It's kind of like, you know, a lot of people be like, they be comparing shit to Jay Z.
Like, they be like, this rapper better than Jay Z or that rapper better than Jay Z. It was like, why everybody comparing everything to Jay Z? Like, you notice, nigga is that nigga if you compare everything to him. So why you compare everything to Tyler Perry? Like, it's a bunch of other black shows you can compare shit to. I see what they mean, though, other than Tyler Perry.
[00:51:02] Speaker A: That's the same thing with.
What's the Will Smith thing? Fresh Prince.
[00:51:07] Speaker B: What about that?
[00:51:08] Speaker A: Was a sitcom, had the sitcom look, and then they changed it to almost like a movie look.
[00:51:14] Speaker B: Yeah, but they said it in the thing, like, this is a reboot and it's not called a Fresh Prince.
[00:51:19] Speaker A: Yeah, you're right.
[00:51:20] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? So I think they might have did a better job of letting you know that this gonna be different. This gonna be darker than the Fresh Prince. But did you watch it? What Fresh Prince?
[00:51:31] Speaker A: No, no, no.
[00:51:32] Speaker B: Different World.
[00:51:32] Speaker A: Different World.
[00:51:33] Speaker B: I ain't had a chance to.
I was gonna start it just to say I started it, but the original Different World, I really didn't. You know, I watched it or whatever, but I really didn't.
I don't know. I. I know a lot of the stuff. I don't think that happened with it.
[00:51:51] Speaker A: That. That age right there was. You borderline on that.
[00:51:55] Speaker B: Now I'm below. I'm. A lot of people's like, that's the reason they went to college or whatever. Like, yeah, that was. I didn't. I don't know. That just didn't.
I didn't feel it like that. You know what I'm saying? That wasn't the reason why I wanted to go to college. A different World.
[00:52:08] Speaker A: Like, you probably seen it on the reruns. I don't think you've seen that when it Was. Nah.
[00:52:12] Speaker B: Cause it used to come on Thursdays.
[00:52:14] Speaker A: Yeah, you're right.
[00:52:14] Speaker B: It used to come on. I want to say used to come on after Cosby.
[00:52:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:52:18] Speaker B: So it'll be a different world. I mean, it'd be Cosby Show, Cheers, and then a different world.
[00:52:23] Speaker A: Nah, Cheers wasn't in between that, was it?
[00:52:25] Speaker B: A. Cheers was last. I know Cheers used to. Because my stepdaddy used to record because we wouldn't be home when it came on. I think Cosby might have came on at 8 or something like that. Or one of them used to come on early. But Cheers would always be on that tape. And we would fast forward to Cheers.
Yeah. But anyway, man.
Yeah.
That's all I got this week, man. You got anything else before we get out of here?
[00:52:53] Speaker A: Nah, man.
[00:52:54] Speaker B: Maybe something happened.
[00:52:56] Speaker A: No, I'm good. I don't need nothing to happen.
[00:52:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:52:59] Speaker A: I don't need nothing.
[00:53:00] Speaker B: Stuff. Something that stuff happened, but it's stuff that entertaining. Yeah. Stuff that I really don't want to talk about. Like, I don't want to talk about the Nolan Wells verdict or whatever.
You know what I'm saying?
[00:53:14] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Kanye got a street named after his mother.
[00:53:19] Speaker B: I did. I saw that. He wouldn't let my man.
[00:53:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:53:22] Speaker B: He was like, hey, man, nah, I'm gonna pull this.
[00:53:23] Speaker A: Get off the street.
[00:53:24] Speaker B: I got this. Yeah, this nigga still crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was something that happened that Jones did. I'll say this, and then we get outta here. You know, I don't fuck with R. Kelly.
If we're in a group of people, I'm not gonna say nothing. If it me and you. I'm a clown. It's like 12 people, and R. Kelly was playing, like, beloved.
[00:53:46] Speaker A: Don't like R. Kelly.
