You wear protective gear? [00:02:21] Speaker B: Nah, man. I feel funny going out there, too, because, like, you know, everybody be out there and they got helmets on and. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Like, that, they'd be looking at you crazy. I think we had. [00:02:30] Speaker B: I think. Yeah. I think they look at us. [00:02:31] Speaker A: This ain't safe. [00:02:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:34] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, shout out to you. Shout out to all of that. [00:02:38] Speaker B: I'm getting. I'll get a helmet soon. Word. [00:02:41] Speaker A: We gonna get right into these emails. [00:02:43] Speaker B: Okay. [00:02:44] Speaker A: Shout out to the homie, Cheryl Poison. Oh, yo, she sent the first email. It says if you're not first, you're last. Ricky Bobby, she says. Hey, what's up? Hello, it's me. Once again, I gotta keep these emails coming since I'm about to be the top choice selection. Oh, three crying, laughing moles. She says, what's up, fellas? Hope everything is copacetic. Yeah, nigga, I know big words. I read. Okay, we'll see. She said sour. High Star. My bad. Is he hot, though? I got a single friend, lol. I don't know what she referring to. [00:03:16] Speaker B: Is she hot, though? [00:03:17] Speaker A: Yeah, is he hot, though? [00:03:19] Speaker B: Is he. Oh, she talking about for him. [00:03:21] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:03:22] Speaker B: Is High Star hot? [00:03:23] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:03:24] Speaker B: I couldn't tell you if another man's hot, though. [00:03:27] Speaker A: No, I don't know. I don't know what. She'll email telling us what she was referring to. [00:03:32] Speaker B: Oh. When she comes to the studio. [00:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Just want y' all to know that y' all had me rolling on the floor laughing. And I don't think y' all be trying to be funny. It's a natural thing. Y' all are stupid. But in a good way, though. Now let me get serious with B. God damn. Yeah. You reading this email? Don't you have your black ass? Not black as in complexion, but black as in one of us in your house choking yourself for sexual pleasure. Let me tell you something. Don't kink, shame me, beloved. Don't kink, shame me. We don't do stuff like that, man. You will wake up dead. [00:04:09] Speaker B: I can't believe you said that. Still, that's funny. [00:04:12] Speaker A: She brought up here are some good points of the show in my eyes, B. Reading the four agreements. Okay. Intellectual, B. L saying, I don't know if it's gonna be a package that says bomb. Is he making some bombs on the low? Oh, I think he was talking about when we was talking about the. The place that blew up on that part. [00:04:34] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He says gonna be say acne on it. [00:04:38] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She says that's the whole Blood. Yeah. Y' all just be saying shit, and I love it. I don't even remember that. [00:04:47] Speaker B: The whole Blood. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:48] Speaker B: Oh, that was. You was gonna name it that, too. I forgot what that was about. [00:04:52] Speaker A: Okay. Black Soul. Negro Spiritual soul. Negro spiritual soul. They said we ain't gonna talk about the top pause. Y' all are crazy. What was it talking. Maybe we was talking about NBA Youngboy. [00:05:07] Speaker B: You know what it is? We just be. [00:05:09] Speaker A: Just be talking. [00:05:10] Speaker B: We just be talking and like, you know, some funny things might come up in the middle, so we might not remember it, but Sometimes people like Ms. Poison and High Star remind us. [00:05:22] Speaker A: She says, let me wrap this up, though. Hfn. What does HFN stand for Hell Fucking no. [00:05:28] Speaker B: I don't know those abbreviations. [00:05:29] Speaker A: I'm not aiding and abetting nobody. Maybe if it's Nas. Nah, not even him. I'm not going to jail for nobody. [00:05:36] Speaker B: What? She's lying. She'll do it for Nas. I know her. [00:05:41] Speaker A: She said also B, you don't gotta go to those people light job. Go to those people jobs, asking them about a light bill. You ain't gotta pay, just know it's high. Oh, yeah, we were talking about how much my job light bill was and how much it was at your old job. Enjoy the show, as always. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, the one and only Cheryl Poison. Thank you, Cheryl. We appreciate that email. [00:06:03] Speaker B: I can't believe we don't. We hardly remember anything from last week. [00:06:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't even try anymore. My cousin used to hit me up, shout out. My cousin Nigel, he'd be like, man, you said such and such or whatever. I'd be like, I said, who? I said what? She says, hey. Oh, this is from long time listener, Quetta. Shout out to quitter. Okay. She used to email where she said, and I'm gonna just read her email. She said, hey, hey. B or L. She spelled el or L. Whichever one it is, it's E L. No, it ain't. It is El. [00:06:33] Speaker B: That's not my name. [00:06:35] Speaker A: What's your initial? How you spell it? [00:06:37] Speaker B: Oh, okay. No, but some people call me E L. Like they'll say e L. No. [00:06:41] Speaker A: I'm saying it's spelled E L. Yes. Haven't wrote in a while. Wrote in in a while, but. Oh. I just wanted to let y' all know that you still have an active listening me. Y' all have been doing good with the two of you. I just wanted to come with three pieces of feedback. One, I think the list episodes have run their course low key. Oh, shit. Since y' all spend a significant amount of time talking TV and movies, can y' all pivot the Wednesday episode to TV and movie reviews? You might be right. Tv music. Hey. Cause it's hard coming up with a list. [00:07:17] Speaker B: It is, it is. [00:07:18] Speaker A: It's all coming up with a list. What? What y' all are watching? New releases. Etc. I enjoy watching the things y' all suggest. Flatbush Misdemeanors is funny as I think y' all will kill that. I was a huge fan of the Snowfall series that used to be done. So the one thing about doing the review shows, especially, like, when I did Snowfall, I would watch the episode like three times. Then I would go scene by scene and write everything down like the key points. So me watching the episode three times and then going back and doing the notes. So that's three times. So that's three hours. Then to do the notes on one episode was like an hour and a half, two hours, that's five hours. And to do a recap episode like that, like I don't really have the time like that. Cause I hate when I listen to a show or watch a podcast review and they don't get all the points or they mix up the scenes or whatever. Cause they trying to go off memory. So I will always write it down like line by line or scene by scene so I wouldn't miss nothing. Cause I hate when people miss stuff or say it wrong, whatever. So it just take a lot of time, a long time doing the recaps. That's really why I haven't done another one. [00:08:28] Speaker B: We not ruling it out though. [00:08:30] Speaker A: Yeah, we ain't ruling it out. But with my current schedule, you know, it. It'll take some moving around. Moving and shaking. She said B. I can't. And I'm not telling you how to pie, but you be signed this grown up as on some episodes, not some. [00:08:44] Speaker B: All of them. [00:08:45] Speaker A: I do be disgruntled. Angry B. Yeah. Who gave me that name? [00:08:48] Speaker B: Ross B. Mac Ross. [00:08:50] Speaker A: It was either BMAC Ablaze now. [00:08:52] Speaker B: You said Ross. [00:08:53] Speaker A: I said Ross. [00:08:54] Speaker B: You told the story. [00:08:55] Speaker A: I did, yeah. [00:08:56] Speaker B: You told his uncle off. [00:08:58] Speaker A: Oh, that was. No, no, no, no, no. It happened before, but that happened before I got the name. This is when Ross was like skinny. This how long ago this was. Ross is like 18. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Angry B. [00:09:10] Speaker A: She said it's funny to me, but sometimes I wish you would at least indulge a little bit of commentary on certain topics that may not be your favorite instead of shutting the convo down immediately. Hell. [00:09:21] Speaker B: Yep, yep. I agree. [00:09:24] Speaker A: Hey, I could take criticism. [00:09:26] Speaker B: We got to take that button off too. [00:09:28] Speaker A: What button? [00:09:28] Speaker B: I don't care that. That button. [00:09:30] Speaker A: I don't be caring though. [00:09:31] Speaker B: I know, but that's. You not the only one that listen to the show. Yeah, but some people want to come to the show and they want to hear. They want to hear about Cardi B. I don't want to hear about Cardi B. They want to hear. [00:09:42] Speaker A: But if some stuff I don't talk about because I'm just not informed on it and if I haven't listened. Listened to it, like the. The ins and outs of it, I don't wanna be talking about nothing with half information. Cause I may give my opinion on. [00:09:59] Speaker B: Something wrong 95% of it. [00:10:01] Speaker A: You don't care about what the Cardi. [00:10:04] Speaker B: B shit, anything like that. [00:10:05] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I don't care about them people. [00:10:06] Speaker B: That's just like the Breakfast Club not covering reggae artists or not covering movies. You know, we gotta go into all of it sometime. I guess. [00:10:20] Speaker A: I feel. [00:10:20] Speaker B: You don't feel me. Feel the writer you. [00:10:24] Speaker A: Y' all do. Do you ever. Have you ever listened to a podcast or show and, you know, you knew more about what they were talking about than them? [00:10:31] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah. [00:10:32] Speaker A: And they like, let's say, like, the Cardi B shit. Right? [00:10:35] Speaker B: I see what you're saying. [00:10:37] Speaker A: Like, that Cardi B shit. If somebody was to say, well, Cardi B got pregnant by Offset, but she really. But they didn't know she was messing with Stephan Diggs or whatever the Diggs dude name is. I think it's Stephanie. You listening? Be like, they don't know what they talking about. [00:10:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I see what you're saying. [00:10:53] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying. That's the only reason why. But I do be disgruntled. But it sometimes it don't even got nothing to do with show shit. Well, it got to do with it. Nah. Oh, and number three, she says, tell her what you mean, son. L. Tell her how you feel, son. L learn people's names. Nah, man, I'm gonna tell you. [00:11:14] Speaker B: That's my thing. [00:11:15] Speaker A: Shout out to the homie Ciel. He was like. He caught. We was talking on the phone. He was like, do l do that on purpose? Like, at this point, it's like a third. A third character on the show. Like, you don't be knowing people names. [00:11:29] Speaker B: That's my I don't care button. I don't care their names. [00:11:31] Speaker A: Whatever. [00:11:32] Speaker B: We know you don't say blah. [00:11:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:36] Speaker B: Nah, I feel you on that. I do. [00:11:38] Speaker A: I. I especially feel you on the list because it'd be hard, but that's why we be trying to get people to like, saying whatever in. But, you know, we might pivot to something else. [00:11:47] Speaker B: Who is this? Who. Who sent this? [00:11:49] Speaker A: She. She solidified. [00:11:51] Speaker B: Quetta is all the way in. [00:11:52] Speaker A: She. I mean, I take that criticism, though. She's a new producer that technically that is producing. [00:11:57] Speaker B: Yeah, she's a new producer. [00:11:59] Speaker A: Yeah. I got news for you. Next episode, Wednesday, we doing. [00:12:05] Speaker B: Tap in for our last. [00:12:06] Speaker A: Tap in for our last list ever. Shout out to quitter, and It'll be our 6, 700 episodes too. So I guess that's apropos that we ending it On a monumentous number. [00:12:17] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Well, hit the applause or something. Hit the bomb. Hit the bomb on it. [00:12:21] Speaker A: The flex bomb on that ass. 700 eat over. Yeah. She says, nonetheless, I enjoy listening every week on my commute to or from work. Keep up the great work. Yeah, we gonna try. Lord Jesus, thank you too. Email us djblayshiregmail.com now we got one more email from the homie DJ Highstar. Shout out to High Star. He said it's entitled Skip say less. You know Skip Bayless. Say less. Get it? Damn, where's my rim shot? He said, what's good, fam? How y' all doing? Out fishing and had to write in. Did y' all see the clip of Skip criticizing Travis Hunter for getting baptized? Would love to know y' all thoughts on it if y' all heard. He pretty much told his priorities were met. Tola's told him his priorities were messed up. Shaking my head. I can't fuck with Skip. Shout out to mandatory overtime. My new podcast we live. I have questions for y' all on. He said, I have questions for y' all from a topic I spoke on this past week. Who has the best NFL fan base by division. Come on, man. All right, I'll holla at y'. All. DJ Hosta. So first. No, I didn't see this clip of Skip. [00:13:35] Speaker B: Shout out to the show, though. [00:13:37] Speaker A: Yeah. Shout out to mandatory overtime. Presented by Crux Media Group in conjunction with Crux Media Group. As you know, I should say shout out to high. Start doing this thing. I haven't seen it. [00:13:50] Speaker B: I. [00:13:53] Speaker A: Right after that email, I can't say what I want to say now. [00:13:55] Speaker B: Yeah, now. You don't want to mislead any. [00:13:58] Speaker A: Yeah, or. I just can't say. I don't care about what Skip has to say. Cuz skip, for one, skip like 70 something. [00:14:06] Speaker B: Go hit the button for one last time. [00:14:07] Speaker A: It ain't no last. I'm here to tell you right now. I'm sorry. [00:14:16] Speaker B: We don't care. [00:14:17] Speaker A: I just don't care about what Skip got to say, especially about Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter gets so much hate from people already. Like with what he do with his girlfriend, how he be dancing and having fun. You know what I'm saying? His brand of fun and how he be cheesing and shit. Like he get it from all sides. So I hope he turned off the Skip shit, you know what I'm saying? [00:14:39] Speaker B: Who? [00:14:41] Speaker A: Oh, you don't know who Skip is? [00:14:43] Speaker B: I know you and Corey used to do that Skip impression, right? [00:14:49] Speaker A: No, Shannon Sharpe. [00:14:51] Speaker B: But Talking about Skip. [00:14:52] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Talk about Skip. [00:14:54] Speaker B: Yeah, that's all I know about him. [00:14:56] Speaker A: Who has the best fan base by division? So my division, of course, is the Steelers. I think the Steelers got the best fan base, period. Cause everywhere you go is Steelers. Like if they got a game, I. [00:15:07] Speaker B: Don'T know, Cowboys is up there too. [00:15:08] Speaker A: They are up there too. They the best in their division. It could be like, you know, Cowboys in their division, probably the Falcons or the Saints in their division, The Green Bay in their division. The 49ers in their division. I think I'm missing some one division. AFC west, probably the Raiders in their division. The Raiders are the Broncos. That's about it. AFC South. I said Atlanta. NFC South. Yeah, I think I gave a good amount. Straight off the top of the head too, but yeah. Email us djblasermail.com if you got something you need us to talk about, let us know. Also, if you don't want us to talk about something again ever in life, please let us know. [00:16:04] Speaker B: Yeah, we gotta keep that flex bomb on there. [00:16:07] Speaker A: Yeah, we just blew up the thing. God damn. [00:16:09] Speaker B: The last time we talk about Cardi B. [00:16:12] Speaker A: You wanna. Yeah. You wanna know what's crazy though? So it's another show that does kinda like list or whatever. I didn't get the idea from that show. I did get the idea from another show a couple years ago. Whatever. Right. But another show that does list, like how we do. They stopped doing lists like recently, like a few weeks ago. [00:16:31] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:16:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Now, so what do they do? They do like the best of. [00:16:35] Speaker B: Oh, that year. [00:16:35] Speaker A: That year. [00:16:36] Speaker B: I know you're talking about. [00:16:37] Speaker A: Yeah. So they do the best of. [00:16:38] Speaker B: They gotta go back to the list. I don't even listen to it no more. [00:16:41] Speaker A: Really? [00:16:42] Speaker B: Yeah, I listened to the first one when they did that. It was cool. But it's too much of their perspective of that year. [00:16:51] Speaker A: But that's. Oh. Cause they don't take into consideration. [00:16:55] Speaker B: It's almost like if they listen to hip hop and rap, that's all they kind of talked about the biggest songs of hip hop or. [00:17:03] Speaker A: I did listen to one episode and they did like the best, but I think they were getting. Cause they did like the best. It was like 1994 or something like that. [00:17:11] Speaker B: I think it started with 94 and now it's up to like 96. [00:17:16] Speaker A: Maybe. I didn't listen to 94. Maybe it was like 96 or something. But they did like the top movies or whatever and they. You know what I'm saying? They did like movies, TV shows, music, like songs or whatever, but they kind of switched it up. But yeah, it probably has on its course. Cause there's a lot of stuff that you just. We've done everything really you could do with lis. You know what I'm saying? We did shoes, clothing labels. We did reality TV shows, black shows. [00:17:44] Speaker B: White shows, movies, favorite toys for Christmas, food. [00:17:48] Speaker A: We did all kinds of favorite snacks. All kind of stuff like that. [00:17:52] Speaker B: Fast food restaurant. [00:17:53] Speaker A: Fast food. Yep, we did that. We did not. Fast food restaurant. Oh, yeah, you right, yeah, we did that too. So. Yeah, that's a good point. Good point. We gotta go on back in the think tank and come up with some stuff to. [00:18:06] Speaker B: It's hard, I'm telling you. Cause I try not to duplicate one that we might have did on this show on one of my other shows. [00:18:14] Speaker A: Which one was that? [00:18:15] Speaker B: I try not to duplicate them. Oh, if we did it on one of the. You know, if we did it on the Blaze show, I'll try not to do it on the other show on Once Upon a Time in Music. Ew. Yep. But this week, Wednesday, we will be talking about the cash money and no limit versus coming the 25th. Saturday. 25th. [00:18:40] Speaker A: Which will be this Saturday coming. [00:18:42] Speaker B: Yep, yep. [00:18:44] Speaker A: But. Yeah, but this. So last week we did do a. We did do. We talked about it, but we didn't do like a list. So we gonna put together some songs that we think gonna be on it, you know what I'm saying? To kind of rank em or whatever. [00:19:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:19:01] Speaker A: So, you know, stay tuned for that. Here we go. Some stuff that's been going on this week. Are we gonna start. I guess we'll start out with some. Some tragic news. [00:19:17] Speaker B: Who died? [00:19:18] Speaker A: D' Angelo died. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he died. Was it Monday? We found out Monday he died. [00:19:23] Speaker B: Yeah. If it wasn't Monday, it was definitely Tuesday. [00:19:25] Speaker A: It was early in the week. Pancreatic cancer. I didn't know. I didn't know his name wasn't d'. Angelo. [00:19:31] Speaker B: What is it? Michael. [00:19:33] Speaker A: Michael. Oh, shit. [00:19:35] Speaker B: No, for real. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Yeah, his name Michael. [00:19:36] Speaker B: Hey, I was just being funny. [00:19:38] Speaker A: Yeah, his name is Michael something. [00:19:41] Speaker B: Dang. Yeah, I was just being funny. [00:19:45] Speaker A: God damn. There you go. [00:19:46] Speaker B: That seat is for. [00:19:47] Speaker A: That seat is for. There we go. [00:19:50] Speaker B: Oh, no. Come on, man. He's here in spirit. You didn't put the seat up there for d', Angelo, did you? [00:19:56] Speaker A: Is that his? I didn't. I can't remember if that was his baby or not. [00:20:00] Speaker B: 2. [00:20:01] Speaker A: I didn't know he had a baby with Joy, but Yeah, he died. He was 51. Said he had pancreatic cancer. Do you have a favorite d' Angelo song? [00:20:13] Speaker B: No, I don't. [00:20:14] Speaker A: You don't? [00:20:14] Speaker B: I do like the song from Belly soundtrack, but I couldn't tell you the name of it. [00:20:18] Speaker A: Devil's Pie. [00:20:19] Speaker B: Devil's Pie. Oh, my. [00:20:21] Speaker A: Nick the Slice. I want the pie. I would play the song, but, you know, copyright infringement on YouTube and things of that nature. We've been shut down. We've had shows shut down before. [00:20:34] Speaker B: It might shut it down. Just cause cut a video, the video. [00:20:37] Speaker A: Might shut it down. [00:20:38] Speaker B: Oh, man, don't point it out. [00:20:40] Speaker A: I'm just saying. Shout out to d'. Angelo. He had a child with Angie Stone and she died earlier. Was that earlier this year? Last year? I think that was last year. This year? [00:20:48] Speaker B: I think that was last year. If it wasn't, it was early, early this year. [00:20:56] Speaker A: Like February or March or something like that. But yeah, so shout out to Angelo and his family. [00:21:01] Speaker B: And so how do you feel about the pictures? Like, were they posting pictures of them together in the upper room? [00:21:10] Speaker A: Oh, no. They did that? [00:21:11] Speaker B: Yeah. Like they hugging and stuff. Not the wings, but they hugging in heaven. Yeah. Why? [00:21:18] Speaker A: Bro, it's been 20 years probably since they've been together. [00:21:20] Speaker B: I'm gonna say they probably don't even like each other no more. They had one kid together. And you know what she said? She said when that video, the naked video. What's the name? [00:21:30] Speaker A: Untitled. How does it feel? [00:21:32] Speaker B: She said when she saw that video, she knew it was over for her love of her life. [00:21:38] Speaker A: Oh, wow. [00:21:39] Speaker B: She knew she lost him. Yeah. [00:21:42] Speaker A: Cause he. I mean, he already was a star from his first album. [00:21:46] Speaker B: That damn video, though. [00:21:48] Speaker A: That video shot him. You know what made it go super iconic. And I don't know if you remember this. Do you remember hits from the street? Nah. Oh, the guy, the show, the show and the guy. [00:22:01] Speaker B: I remember the guy. Yeah. [00:22:02] Speaker A: Yeah, he had a show. Yeah, he had his own show on bet. On bet, yeah. [00:22:07] Speaker B: And he did used to come on Saturdays. [00:22:10] Speaker A: I don't know if it came on Saturdays and I don't know what day it came on. [00:22:12] Speaker B: Okay. [00:22:12] Speaker A: But they. He did a remake of that video. You know what I'm saying? But it was him, you know, he wasn't in shape, like. But they would play his video instead of the d' Angelo video on his show. Oh, for real? Yeah. [00:22:27] Speaker B: That's funny. [00:22:28] Speaker A: Yeah. But yeah, shout out to d', Angelo, man. His music used to ride, man. [00:22:33] Speaker B: What's goes going viral right now? [00:22:34] Speaker A: Who? [00:22:35] Speaker B: Benzino oh. [00:22:37] Speaker A: Cause he did a video, too. [00:22:38] Speaker B: Is that a video or is that just pictures? [00:22:40] Speaker A: No, it's a video of basically the same thing, but he's rap. It's like the song that's playing is his music. [00:22:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I seen the screenshots. [00:22:47] Speaker A: I didn't know. Benzino is in amazing shape for period. [00:22:54] Speaker B: 60 some years old. [00:22:55] Speaker A: Him for 20 something years old. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Yeah, for any years old. [00:22:58] Speaker A: Any years old, he's just in amazing shape. People was hating in the comments, a couple people like, man, y' all tripping. That nigga in shape. [00:23:04] Speaker B: He is. I wish I could be, you know, fit like that. [00:23:08] Speaker A: No neck and neck or whatever. That nigga in shape, man. [00:23:11] Speaker B: He making up for the no neck. [00:23:12] Speaker A: Yeah, we. You know, normally on here I talk about my job, what's been going on and stuff, but yesterday was. It was unusually slow. One of the reasons it was slow is because of the homecoming. Homecoming. That's what one of my homeboys said. You know what I'm saying? Cause of homecoming. That's in the town. Shout out to them. But another reason that it's. I feel like it was slow. And I just realized it this morning. Have you seen any of the no Kings protests? [00:23:43] Speaker B: I saw a picture, but I didn't know what it meant. [00:23:46] Speaker A: So it was them protesting Donald Trump's presidency, his administration. They basically like, no kings or whatever. And they had them all across the nation, all of the big cities. I don't know if they had one here. I know they had one in Columbia, in Boston, New York, D.C. all on the west coast, all over the place where people were protesting his administration and stuff. Like, millions of people. They estimated like 7 to 8 million people protested yesterday. [00:24:15] Speaker B: It looked like that here, but it wasn't for no Kings. [00:24:17] Speaker A: Nah, it wasn't for no kings. Yeah, for the kings. Yeah. Shout out to the homecoming. But, yeah, so that was real big. [00:24:31] Speaker B: So they saying that that's why people wasn't really out buying stuff. [00:24:34] Speaker A: No, I don't know. That's just my estimation as to why they weren't. And I didn't come by. Cause I couldn't. I couldn't figure it out. Yeah, it said it was 2,700 events in all 50 states. [00:24:47] Speaker B: Oh, wow. [00:24:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. And they were. You know, people are upset about the ICE raids, the troop deployments in US cities and the cuts to federal programs and healthcare. And then. Oh, yeah, I forgot. The government has been shut down for like three weeks now. So that's another reason why. [00:25:10] Speaker B: So a conspiracy they're talking about is the Fact that the government's been shut down. It hasn't been raining. The skies has been clear now, you know. You know, they say, what do you. [00:25:23] Speaker A: Mean it hadn't been raining? It poured down last week. [00:25:26] Speaker B: Last week. But after. After it shut down. That was. [00:25:29] Speaker A: No, the government's been shut down before then. [00:25:31] Speaker B: Oh, it was. [00:25:31] Speaker A: Yeah, the government. Like I said, the government's been shut down for, like, three weeks now. [00:25:34] Speaker B: They talk about how clear the skies are and no trend. No. [00:25:40] Speaker A: Who. [00:25:40] Speaker B: Who. [00:25:41] Speaker A: What kind of. What color was they? 104 Kufi. Who said that? [00:25:44] Speaker B: It wasn't goofy. [00:25:45] Speaker A: It's a 10 4. Who was that? A conspiracy theorist. [00:25:50] Speaker B: Nah, it really wasn't. It was just another podcast. [00:25:53] Speaker A: Another podcast? [00:25:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it was kind of. [00:25:56] Speaker A: Speaking of no bad weather, they say, did you know it was a typhoon in Alaska? [00:26:02] Speaker B: Nah. [00:26:03] Speaker A: Yeah, Basically flooded and wiped the whole town away. They had to evacuate people by plane. [00:26:11] Speaker B: And I wonder if it's night season there. [00:26:15] Speaker A: No, I don't think it was that part of Alaska. [00:26:16] Speaker B: Yeah, it's night. It's night, right? [00:26:18] Speaker A: I mean, this is at night. Oh. [00:26:21] Speaker B: No. [00:26:22] Speaker A: Yeah, I know what you're talking about. You know, Alaska, you know, in certain parts is, like, night for, like, a month or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:26:29] Speaker B: So just imagine that happening at night. Like. [00:26:33] Speaker A: Yeah, see, that's daytime right there. Dusk or whatever you call it. But, yeah, it happened. Like. And they said that the, like, tsunami or whatever came. There were no warnings. Like, it came. It came faster than they could get the warnings to the people. Like, whatever systems they had in place, it came faster than that. The thing I saw was, like, nobody was talking about it, but I didn't see anything about it. I saw a picture of the town before it happened and then after, and it looks like crazy. [00:27:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't see none of this. I didn't see this in the news anywhere. But at the same time, I don't sit. You know, some people have CNN on their TV all day. I don't have CNN like that. [00:27:12] Speaker A: I just randomly saw this on. Just on the Internet one day at work, and I was like, what the f. You know what I'm saying? And I had to look at the date to see if it was, like, some old stuff or whatever. Yeah, this is what I forgot to ask you. What did you watch this week, man? [00:27:28] Speaker B: I. I went back to task. [00:27:30] Speaker A: I did, too. [00:27:31] Speaker B: It picked up, bruh. [00:27:34] Speaker A: I'm gonna tell you this with the utmost respect, okay? [00:27:37] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. [00:27:39] Speaker A: I am not taking your advice when you talk about shows. [00:27:42] Speaker B: It came back. I'M telling you right now that it came back. [00:27:44] Speaker A: This is the reason why I say that. [00:27:46] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:27:46] Speaker A: Because it was some action in the first scene. I mean, the first episode. [00:27:52] Speaker B: Yeah, but that was it. But you know what? Like I said then a couple weeks ago or a week ago, it might have just been the time I was watching it. [00:28:00] Speaker A: You was watching it late. [00:28:01] Speaker B: I was watching it and doing something else. [00:28:04] Speaker A: That's definitely a show. You can't be doing nothing else. [00:28:06] Speaker B: No, no. Cause I put it back on yesterday just to make sure that it wasn't one of those. Cause I was like all these actors in it. Just certain actors in it. It gotta be good. [00:28:19] Speaker A: It gotta be good. It gotta be good. Yeah. [00:28:21] Speaker B: And it definitely picked up. I do wanna say. [00:28:25] Speaker A: Did you finish it? [00:28:26] Speaker B: No, I didn't. I'm on like the fifth episode. [00:28:29] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I think I'm on the last episode. But yeah, it's definitely good. [00:28:34] Speaker B: And when I first saw it, I didn't realize the connection with the motorcycle gang. [00:28:41] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I didn't either. [00:28:43] Speaker B: Until I thought it was just, you know, they was just out robbing. But it was. [00:28:46] Speaker A: They say it in early in the episodes, though. [00:28:48] Speaker B: Yeah, but I didn't catch it then. [00:28:50] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no. I get what you're saying. I know what you're saying. I ain't want to spoil it, but I know what you're saying. [00:28:54] Speaker B: I caught it now because I went back an episode. [00:28:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they really. They really kind of let you know how. Yeah, yeah. Some of. He was looking at the pictures. [00:29:02] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:29:03] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What else? [00:29:05] Speaker B: You watched Ed Gains. [00:29:07] Speaker A: Oh, you did. [00:29:08] Speaker B: You finished now? I didn't finish it. [00:29:09] Speaker A: I can't. [00:29:10] Speaker B: I can't only do an episode at a time. I can't really. Like, that's. He's so sick. [00:29:14] Speaker A: Yeah. That I'm not. I'm never getting in there. I don't think I'm gonna finish that. [00:29:18] Speaker B: Between that and the switching back and forth. [00:29:21] Speaker A: Yeah, kinda. [00:29:22] Speaker B: Cause it'll switch in the middle of something. Like, you don't know if it's another person, another character. And you realizing, like, oh, that's not another character. That is him. Or that is mother. But like I said last week, I think all these people that he's got in the story are in his mind. I say that again, like, who? The girlfriend. The girlfriend ain't real. [00:29:47] Speaker A: It's an interview with the girlfriend in the show. [00:29:50] Speaker B: The girlfriend ain't real. It can't be. She went. She. So what happened in the show? She's so called getting ready to move away to New York and meet somebody so she can stay in New York. That's his mind trying to turn her off. And she comes right back after. The guy was like, oh, you got no talent. That place you from is no talentsville and stuff like that. So the same way the so called producer or whatever, when she was showing the body. The body pictures, she was showing the pictures of the bodies that he cut up and he didn't believe that they were real. I think you need to get back in it. Cause I think it's gonna finally show that she's definitely not real. And the mother's not real either. Just because of the fact of they pulled these pieces from the movie Psycho. The movie Psycho wasn't a mother, it was him. [00:30:51] Speaker A: The girlfriend's name is Adeline, right? [00:30:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:30:54] Speaker A: So she told police that she and Gein were going to get married. It says some people believe she was a real person, while others believe she was a figment of his imagination, a creation of the show. That's what the. [00:31:09] Speaker B: Yeah, so they say. [00:31:10] Speaker A: That's what the thing said. [00:31:12] Speaker B: That's in the same way. [00:31:13] Speaker A: But this is a. This is the thing I saw too. This is a picture of the lady. I can send it to. I can send it to my iPad. [00:31:25] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's. It's a good. It's a good watch, but at the same time it's cringing moments on it. I think I'm gonna finish it out. [00:31:38] Speaker A: Ugh. All the stuff with the skin. [00:31:42] Speaker B: What episode you got up to? [00:31:44] Speaker A: You remember four or five. Like the scene where the girl went back to the room, to the mother's room, and then she stood up and she had the mask, I think. Oh, yeah, that was the last thing I remember. [00:31:54] Speaker B: So wait, you didn't see when the girl was so called gonna move away? [00:31:58] Speaker A: No. [00:31:59] Speaker B: Uh, okay, so there's a scene where the. The girl is having sex with somebody else. She's trying to be all cool and you know, oh, this what city girls do. And this is gonna be the last time you're gonna see me because I'm moving to New York and you know, talk like that. And then she ends up going to Ed Gein's house and, you know, telling him the same thing. This, you know, it's over. I'm moving to New York and such and such. And here, take this book and read this book and think of me. And it was, you know, the murder books and stuff like that. [00:32:34] Speaker A: So, so. And this art. So this is the one That I did read. She came forward after he was arrested in 1950. She was 50 years old. And she said that she was his girlfriend for two decades. But then, like, later on, she came back and said that. That she switched her story and changed what she said about the relationship. Said they only went to the movies a few times and they casually dated over the course of seven months in about 1954. But he never mentioned her. But there's nothing placing her with him. [00:33:22] Speaker B: Or anything like that. [00:33:23] Speaker A: Yeah, and there's nothing they had like the way she's portrayed in the movie. There's no facts based on it. They ain't got no evidence of that. So I think the lady in the movie is based on what she said. [00:33:36] Speaker B: I think they're playing with it. They're like, just like, how some people believe it. It's a real person. Believe it or not. I think they're using that and playing on that. Like, hey, let's. You know, let's add her to the movie. [00:33:48] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Just because she came up, you know. [00:33:51] Speaker B: Even if it's not a real person, we're gonna play it as a real person on some scenes and play it, you know, get people thinking, hey, well. [00:33:58] Speaker A: No, she is a real person. [00:33:59] Speaker B: Yeah, I see what you're saying. [00:34:00] Speaker A: She is a real person. But their relationship probably fake. She probably just, like. She probably crazy as him and probably never met the. So they probably. In the. In the show, they probably using that as to say, like, it's a figment. It's imagination. So, yeah, now that. [00:34:14] Speaker B: That's what I do, like, about the movie. Because you're sitting there like, oh, is this. This can't be real. Yeah, it's real. You know. Yeah. Certain things like that. I think I'm gonna end up finishing it because I'm so deep in it. I'm, like, halfway through it. I think I'm. I think I got, like, three episodes left. [00:34:30] Speaker A: Oh, Jesus. I can't take it. [00:34:32] Speaker B: Once you get over. Because it's like every episode they do something like over the top. Once you get past that over the top, the storyline is there and the. [00:34:41] Speaker A: Acting pretty good, too. [00:34:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, definitely. I. That's my. That's my guy. I really like him and Sons of Anarchy. His name is Jax. In Son's Anarchy. [00:34:51] Speaker A: Is that somebody knocking on the door? [00:34:53] Speaker B: I don't know, but they're gonna have to knock again. [00:34:56] Speaker A: Don't knock again. Cause we fucking recording. Yeah, that threw me off. Are you watching anything else? [00:35:07] Speaker B: You know, Flatbush Misdemeanors. Oh, I watched a stand up earthquake. [00:35:14] Speaker A: I heard about that. [00:35:15] Speaker B: It wasn't bad. And it was, I mean it was cool to watch. It was only 45 minutes. So it's not like it was. [00:35:26] Speaker A: Like they still knocking. Like we talking. We a recording studio. So when you think of nobody coming to the door that mean they still recording. [00:35:36] Speaker B: Maybe it's somebody that don't know it's a recording studio. It's probably Jones. [00:35:43] Speaker A: I don't think so. Yeah, Jones will text me he outside. [00:35:46] Speaker B: Yeah, you're right about that. But if you do get a chance, if you already started watching it, it's pretty good. Story wise it's pretty good because you don't know what it is. You don't know, you know what's real and what's not. And if you like Psycho, if you like what is the other movie? Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence of the Lambs, all of these movies. Pull something from this real, this real guy and I'll finish it up. [00:36:25] Speaker A: Word. [00:36:26] Speaker B: I'll finish it up. [00:36:27] Speaker A: So that's it? Other than. [00:36:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that's it. I think that's it. What else? What you been watching? [00:36:32] Speaker A: Reasonable Doubt. [00:36:33] Speaker B: Okay. [00:36:34] Speaker A: This season is great. Great acting. All of that stuff. For the people that watch Reasonable Doubt they really stepped up the storyline and stuff. It's real good. You can't really. I like way like. So it's two types of shows when it comes to murders and stuff like that. Sometimes they show the murder happen and you know who did it as an audience and you follow along with the people to try to like get them to put the puzzle pieces together to solve the crime. But you already know who did it at the end and you just, you know what I'm saying, With them putting the clues together. But then it's like where like you know somebody died but you don't know who did it. And throughout the show they paint the picture of like it could be this person, they got this motive. Then they paint the picture on this person. They could be that person and it could be another. That's how it's doing on this season. Like you don't really know who killed him. Like who killed the person or whatever in that show. So that's good. Reasonable Doubt, Abbott elementary. They don't miss. [00:37:38] Speaker B: I know you had to see that one. [00:37:40] Speaker A: They don't miss. Matter of fact, I don't even think I this the last episode they were at the baseball game. I didn't watch all of it. I caught the second half which was hilarious. And like Mr. Johnson, everybody on that show, man, they had their moments. They give everybody a chance to sign the lowdown. [00:37:59] Speaker B: Oh, I forgot about that. [00:38:01] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a good show. [00:38:02] Speaker B: Did it pick up? [00:38:03] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's good. I liked it all the way. [00:38:05] Speaker B: So Ethan Hawke, right? [00:38:07] Speaker A: Yeah, Ethan Hawke. Yeah, there you go. [00:38:10] Speaker B: Don't cheer me on now. There you go. [00:38:12] Speaker A: Got it right. Gen V is another show I'm watching based, you know, it's a spin off of the boys. [00:38:20] Speaker B: Okay. [00:38:20] Speaker A: Real good at that show. Every time that show go off, you be like, man, I wish I could binge it. [00:38:24] Speaker B: Dag. I forgot. I forgot to even put that on my list. [00:38:28] Speaker A: And then task, like, you know, task was like. Cl was like, man, you gotta watch it. That show. That show is good. I started checking it out and I was hooked. Yeah, I was mad at myself. And then I looked at how many episodes it was, but, yeah, that's a good show. So that's what I've been watching, man. Yeah, we had to let y' all know that. Shout out to quitter for getting our mind right. [00:38:53] Speaker B: Straighten your boys out. [00:38:54] Speaker A: Yeah, and she gave us a little bit of straightening. Yeah, we gonna. We're gonna definitely switch some things up, though. You got anything else before we get out of here? [00:39:05] Speaker B: Nah, man. Just catch us Wednesday. [00:39:08] Speaker A: Yeah, catch us Wednesday. It's a couple things I saw. I'm. I'm gonna talk about this one. Since I used to. Since I did used to drive. I still got my. I'm still licensed. I did fraud today, hey. [00:39:22] Speaker B: I did fraud today, okay? [00:39:24] Speaker A: I did fraud today, hey. [00:39:26] Speaker B: Good job today, okay? [00:39:28] Speaker A: Cause these blessings come from God. Cause I'm committing fraud. I did fraud today, hey. [00:39:33] Speaker B: I did a good job today, okay? I did fraud today, hey. I did fraud today, hey. Fraud today, okay? [00:39:40] Speaker A: I did a good job today, hey. Blessings come from God. Cause I'm committing fraud. I did fraud today, Good job today. I found this one last week. This is. This happened in Garden City, N.Y. new York State DMV employees are among seven people accused of running a cheating ring to get CDL permits for no show applicants. [00:40:05] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:40:07] Speaker A: Sisters Jamie and Kinesia Middleton, along with DMV employees Satoya Mitchell and Tawana Whitfield. Town of Hempstead employees James Nurse and Renee Sardu or Sarday or whatever. And SEAL applicants Omesh Mohan were charged in a 51 count indictment. According to the District Attorney Ann Donnelly, prosecutors alleged Jamie Middleton, the sister of former DMV supervisor Kanazia Middleton, will show up to the office in disguise as a man and take the test for potential truck drivers between March 2023 to November 2023. Donnelly says some of the disguises included a flake, a fake mustache, beard, or mask. Investigators noticed that the person in the disguise will have long manicured nails and surveillance videos. Donnelly said the fingernails kind of. The fingernails kind of gave it away. [00:41:01] Speaker B: They look like Drew Ski. You see the picture? [00:41:03] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, I'm gonna pull up the picture. Donnelly said the employees allegedly charged between 1500 and $3000 for each test taken. One of the defendants eventually issued a full. Was issued a full cdl. According to Donnelly, Prosecutors said Mohan had been previously convicted of vehicular assault and spent six months in jail. So, like that make it so you can't get a cdl. But they. You know what I'm saying? Got this one anyway. The alleged scheme was uncovered when a dm, Another DMV supervisor at the Garden City office, noticed a woman taking the CDL test instead of a man on June 9, 2023. Says they face charges including government corruption, tampering with public records, falsifying business records, and impairing the integrity of government licensing examinations. Prosecutors said they all face between two and seven years behind bars if convicted. What do you think they on your ass? You think they should go to jail for the two of the seven? [00:42:09] Speaker B: Maybe not. Maybe not that much. But then again, it's fraud. It's regular fraud. [00:42:14] Speaker A: I think they should.
