[00:00:27] Speaker A: I heard.
[00:00:27] Speaker B: I. I don't like that one.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: What kind you got?
[00:00:30] Speaker B: Glock, but I don't like it. I don't like it.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: What do you prefer,
[00:00:36] Speaker B: a Sig? Any. Any. Anything else at my house.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: Oh. Is your service weapon your personal? Yeah, but why can't you use something different?
[00:00:47] Speaker B: You can, but they want you to use what they provided, so.
[00:00:52] Speaker A: So it's your personal. But is they provided?
[00:00:54] Speaker B: Well, it's not my personal. It's my personal. For work. Yeah.
[00:00:57] Speaker A: Oh, that's what I meant. Like, is it yours?
[00:00:59] Speaker B: Oh, no, no, no.
[00:01:00] Speaker A: Yeah, I got you. I got you.
[00:01:01] Speaker B: Yeah, they provide.

[00:01:18] Speaker B: No bikes. It's too hot for that right now.
[00:01:20] Speaker A: Word.
[00:01:21] Speaker B: But I probably get out after next week. I gotta work this week coming up, so I have some free time next week.
That's it.
[00:01:31] Speaker A: So you gonna get out? You gonna get on the bikes and all that?
[00:01:34] Speaker B: Yeah, I think I'm gonna do the bikes. Cause it's supposed to get a little cooler.
[00:01:37] Speaker A: What's wrong with riding bikes in the heat? You gonna sweat anyway.
[00:01:40] Speaker B: Your breathing's off. You're breathing that humidity that we have,
[00:01:45] Speaker A: you gotta build up your.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: It's built. But, God, you can't even breathe walking out the house.
[00:01:51] Speaker A: I can't say that.
I can't get into that conversation.
[00:01:54] Speaker B: What's up? I'm. Come on outside.
[00:01:56] Speaker A: I ain't talking about riding no damn bikes. I'm talking about just being outside, breathing and doing stuff.
[00:02:00] Speaker B: Well, come ride there. You know, we got the extra.
[00:02:03] Speaker A: Man, that was egregious, bro. You gotta say it another way.
[00:02:07] Speaker B: Yeah, shout out to Vicky.
[00:02:10] Speaker A: Maybe. Yeah, shout out to. Maybe another.
Maybe another. I don't. I can't this upcoming week. But maybe another week. I might do something in July.
[00:02:19] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: July.
[00:02:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:20] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, you know what? I'm trying to Do? I'm trying to get the homies to do a Juneteenth cookout Friday.
[00:02:26] Speaker B: This Friday coming up.
[00:02:27] Speaker A: Yeah. Maybe we can do it on Saturday.
[00:02:29] Speaker B: Where at?
[00:02:30] Speaker A: At my homeboy crib.
Yeah, big crib. I mean, it's going to be outside.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: Cook out. Not cooking.
[00:02:38] Speaker B: What we trying to do?
[00:02:39] Speaker A: I'm trying to see if we gonna do it. I said something last time we played cards, so I'm trying to pull up. All right, we'll get you through there.
[00:02:46] Speaker B: I'll bring the mountain lion. And what's the Dr. Perky? Mr. Perky.
[00:02:55] Speaker A: Nah, they still got Dr. On that joint, dude. Dr. Perky.
[00:02:58] Speaker B: Dr. Perky.

[00:03:03] Speaker B: I know. Dr. Perky.
[00:03:04] Speaker A: I wanna say it's Dr. Perky. Mountain Lion.
[00:03:06] Speaker B: Mountain lion. That's funny right there.
[00:03:11] Speaker A: What's another one?
[00:03:12] Speaker B: The off brand sodas.
[00:03:13] Speaker A: The doctor Dr. Perky and Mountain Lion. That's that food lion.
[00:03:18] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:03:19] Speaker A: Yeah, Mountain lion. Definitely a food lion. Yeah, but what you been up to, man?
[00:03:24] Speaker B: Man, you went to the concert?
[00:03:25] Speaker A: Yeah, I went to the concert.
[00:03:27] Speaker B: You forgot about that.
[00:03:28] Speaker A: No, I didn't. It was coming up.
It was good. Real good. Real good vibes. It was at it said I thought it was going to be it. So I used to go. I've been to it used to be called Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. I went there. That was like kind of like a little outside the city from what I remember.
But it's another amphitheater called the sky something. It's closer to downtown.
But that one was real nice. Little nice venue, you know. Ain't really a bad seat in the house.
[00:03:57] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:03:58] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Not to me anyway, because you know what you getting? You know, you can rent the lawn chairs or the.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:04:03] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? But it was real nice, Ari. Lennox, man, you took pictures? Nah, not really. I was in the moment.
I got one video.
[00:04:12] Speaker B: Did you dance?
[00:04:13] Speaker A: No, I'm sitting on the ground.
I'm a fucking dancing. Sorry. I'm trying not to curse, but yeah. Arlene, she one of the people who
[00:04:22] Speaker B: say sitting on the ground.
[00:04:23] Speaker A: Yeah, we were sitting on the ground.
[00:04:24] Speaker B: That just sound. I'm like picturing that shit.
[00:04:27] Speaker A: You've been to an amphitheater, like with the grass outside and stuff before?
[00:04:31] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah yeah.
[00:04:34] Speaker B: Dream Fest was like that, but.
[00:04:36] Speaker A: But it's kind of muddy, but yes. It ain't like Dream Fest because Dream Fest is like all flat and they got the stage up?
[00:04:42] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:04:43] Speaker A: At this place. Oh, the whole thing is here. It goes straight up and then, you know, so it's. It's. It's angled to where if you. If everybody's sitting down.
[00:04:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:51] Speaker A: You can just see the stage, so that's fun.
[00:04:54] Speaker B: I can see you sitting there, laid with you like. Like the Michael Jackson cover.
[00:04:58] Speaker A: Nah, I was sitting straight leg. Cause I ain't want to get too late. Loosey goosey with the land.
But then, like, I didn't get. I didn't reserve a chair or any chairs, right. Like, lawn chair. And all of the chairs was rented out. And I meant to do it. I meant to go back and put it on my ticket, but, you know, it was cool, you know, but that was the vibe. So everybody was chilling.
[00:05:24] Speaker B: It was Indian style.
[00:05:25] Speaker A: No, I don't sit like that. I was sitting straight leg, man.
[00:05:28] Speaker B: I could see you, like, sitting India style, like, plucking the freaking daffodils and.
[00:05:33] Speaker A: Nah, nah, nah. I did. I'll put like, one leg. One leg up, one leg back, but I ain't about to say any style. For real.
Yeah, but then, like, you know, like, if you sitting straight with both your legs and you put both your arms back.
[00:05:45] Speaker B: Yeah, like that.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: I was back like that, trying to move. But yeah, I'm telling you, I just killed my legs. I'm going back Thursday to see Wale.
So same place? Yeah, same place. I'm definitely about to add a chair to my.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: Damn. You need to bring one. Something you can't bring now.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: You can't bring chairs. You can only rent. Or you can bring a towel.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: Yeah, but that's still sitting on the floor.
[00:06:07] Speaker A: Yeah, it's still on the floor. Boots on the ground, so.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: That's funny, man.
[00:06:09] Speaker A: Ari Lennon's man.
[00:06:10] Speaker B: I want to see. I want to see. I can see you, like, link sideways.
[00:06:13] Speaker A: I did a side lean a little, teeny little bit, you know what I'm saying? On the one arm.
But. Yeah, but I'm gonna make an AI. She can sing. She sounds just like on the. On the album. Yeah, she sounds just like that in person.
[00:06:27] Speaker B: How she look?
[00:06:29] Speaker A: Amazing. You zoom in with your phone, of course, and she. She be moving and, you know, grooving or whatever. I thought she was gonna bring out, like, a special guest, like Da Baby, but she ain't bought out the baby.
[00:06:40] Speaker B: I think the baby was out of town at that time. He had just got back around, right.
[00:06:44] Speaker A: I don't know. I don't know.
[00:06:45] Speaker B: Even promote some kind of festival going on.
[00:06:47] Speaker A: No, His. His festival in North Carolina. Yeah, but hit. What going on with his festival? Got something to do with my scam of the week.
[00:06:53] Speaker B: Okay, okay.
[00:06:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:55] Speaker B: You want to get into the show with that, then? I mean, you want to get into the show?
[00:06:58] Speaker A: Yeah, let's get into the show, man. Yeah, let's get it started in here.
Gossip, music, news, entertainment, and needed discussions. The. The DJ Blaze Rad starts now.
Yeah. So. Yeah, man, what you watch this week, man?
[00:07:44] Speaker B: Ah, man, I watch a whole bunch of shit.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: Really?
[00:07:47] Speaker B: Ah, I'm not gonna say a whole bunch of stuff. Cause compared to you, ah, you're gonna
[00:07:51] Speaker A: be surprised this week, but a whole
[00:07:53] Speaker B: bunch of shit compared to mine ain't. I'm actually this new. This is new.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:07:58] Speaker B: Cape Fear. Did you watch it?
[00:08:00] Speaker A: What's that on?
I think I seen advertising for that.
[00:08:06] Speaker B: It's on.
[00:08:06] Speaker A: It's a show.
[00:08:09] Speaker B: Hbo.
[00:08:10] Speaker A: It's a show.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a show.
It's just like the old one back in the day, though. The old movie was Cape Fear with Robert De Niro.
Did you ever see that?
[00:08:20] Speaker A: No. What was that old movie about?
[00:08:22] Speaker B: All right, so it's a.
It's a lawyer.
He was defending the guy that did whatever. Whatever he did. I don't remember exactly what he did back in the day, but he. He got convicted. So the guy gets out of jail, he's freaking stalking the family, doing crazy things like coming on to the daughter, you know, getting a daughter to smoke weed, and, you know, just harassing the family.
So the new one is just like that?
[00:08:49] Speaker A: The new one is like.
Is it still, like, white people? Did it switch to racist?
[00:08:55] Speaker B: Yeah, it's white people.
[00:08:56] Speaker A: Oh, okay, okay, okay.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: But it's famous people. I can't. Damn. I can't tell you the name of the guys of the new one, but the new one is good. I'm up to episode three now,

[00:09:10] Speaker B: I'm about to tell you in a second. It comes on. I've seen every Tuesday.
[00:09:14] Speaker A: I've seen the thing.
[00:09:18] Speaker B: It's good. It's real good. Apple. So you know it's on Apple.
[00:09:22] Speaker A: That's where I saw it. Cause I want to say it will show little pieces of. Like in the beginning, when you watching your friends and Neighbors. I want to say the beginning, but I remember the name, but. Okay. Yeah, I may check it out. Is this just suspenseful?
[00:09:37] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it is.
[00:09:39] Speaker A: Because I saw this commercial for this trailer for this movie called An Ice Cream man or whatever, and it's these kids that get like possessed or zombified or whatever by the. By this weird ice cream man and just. Just some crazy killing on the trailer, man. I couldn't even get it through the trailer, man.
[00:09:57] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:09:57] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I don't like watching stuff like that. Stuff with like certain types of killing just seem demonic to me and I can't mess with it, cuz.
[00:10:05] Speaker B: Do you remember what it was promoting for? Like what, what station?
[00:10:11] Speaker A: No, it's a. It's a movie.
[00:10:13] Speaker B: Yeah, but what was it coming on? Because it's not a movie movie.
[00:10:16] Speaker A: I think it's a movie movie.
[00:10:17] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:10:18] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I forgot my man name, but he posted it. He was like. He was going to see it and then like, you know when you repost something somebody posts, you can see what they say.
[00:10:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:10:28] Speaker A: So the person that posted was like, yeah, I couldn't even get through the. The trailer. And my man was like, man, I can't wait to go see this. And so I watched it. I ain't got through the trailer, man. It was just too crazy killing, man.
[00:10:38] Speaker B: So yeah, see this one, this one don't really have killing like that. It got.
[00:10:41] Speaker A: It's just, you know, killing and it's.
[00:10:43] Speaker B: But it's a suspense movie were. It's. It's pretty good.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Show.
[00:10:46] Speaker B: Show. Yeah, show.
[00:10:47] Speaker A: I'm sorry, what. What else you been watching?

[00:11:24] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly.
[00:11:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
Jamal Hansu or something like that.
[00:11:30] Speaker B: I'm glad you said it because I even.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: Something like that. Yeah, yeah, he's. Because he was in Guardian of the Galaxy too. He's been in a lot of stuff. He was in like one of the born identity type Jones or whatever. Yeah, he be in a lot of stuff. That's a. He a good dude. Good actor though.
[00:11:45] Speaker B: It was pretty. It was all right.

[00:11:50] Speaker A: Oh, it's him. He's. He's elite.
[00:11:52] Speaker B: Yeah, well, yeah, he's elite. He's elite. He's a shuttle bus driver. Oh, and a guy gets on A guy has a bomb, okay? And I don't want to give it away too much, but he decides not to bomb the airport.
So he pays him to drive him, like, six hours away.
And, you know, events happen along the way, and then you find out he's the one with the bomb. The kid is the one with the bomb.
[00:12:18] Speaker A: And when did he get gas?
[00:12:21] Speaker B: He got gas. Okay.
Why. Why you say that?
[00:12:24] Speaker A: I'm just saying, like, these niggas driving six hours on the bus. You got to get gas at some point. There got to be something in there. It's all fugazi.
[00:12:31] Speaker B: Something happened at the gas station. Where?
[00:12:33] Speaker A: Ah, somebody just fucking around trying to get some snacks. They had them down.
Had them. Doritos. Yeah.
[00:12:39] Speaker B: Now, what it was is.
[00:12:41] Speaker A: Don't tell me. Don't tell me.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: You sure?
[00:12:42] Speaker A: Yeah, don't tell me. Don't tell me. That's a good. You did a good, you know, passenger 57 type. Jones. Not passenger 57. What's that? Keanu Reeves. Bus movie speed.
[00:12:53] Speaker B: Speed. Yep.
Mr. Hawthorne. James was in that movie.
[00:12:57] Speaker A: Black speed.
[00:12:57] Speaker B: Black speed. He was the bus driver.
[00:12:59] Speaker A: He was red.
[00:13:00] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:13:00] Speaker B: Red is the bus driver.
[00:13:01] Speaker A: Oh, he was the bus driver in that job.
[00:13:03] Speaker B: He was a bus Dr. Driver.
[00:13:03] Speaker A: Shout out to Sandra Bullock.
[00:13:05] Speaker B: Yep. She ended up being a bus driver, too.
[00:13:09] Speaker A: So you. Okay, what else you want?
[00:13:11] Speaker B: No, go ahead. What you gonna say?
[00:13:12] Speaker A: No, no, no, go ahead.
No, I was gonna. I was gonna say you watched a lot of movies, but the other thing was the show, so.
[00:13:17] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched a lot of shows.
[00:13:18] Speaker A: You should just let me shut the f up. Yeah.
[00:13:22] Speaker B: Oh, we censored ourselves, man.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I shut myself the f up. You know what I mean?
[00:13:27] Speaker B: I saw man on Fire. I'm on that still.
[00:13:32] Speaker A: I was gonna start that, but I just. I haven't started it yet. I'm gonna start. Is it good?
[00:13:36] Speaker B: Yeah, you gotta start it, man.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:13:38] Speaker B: It gets a little towards. I'm. I'm at the last episodes. Yeah. Last two episodes get kind of slow.
[00:13:45] Speaker A: Yeah. But, you know, it's okay. It's good. Yeah. You suggest me waste my. I mean, spend time that I.
[00:13:52] Speaker B: Especially the first two.
[00:13:53] Speaker A: I can't get this time back. No.
[00:13:55] Speaker B: Well, just watch the first two and then turn it off.
[00:13:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Don't be suggesting stuff that with time and shows. I can't get it back and get it back. It's. When that hour gone, it's gone forever.
[00:14:07] Speaker B: You're right. I think of that when I watch a ass movie. I'd be like, man, I could have been Doing something else.
Michael.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: Michael. Oh, I started to watch that.
[00:14:17] Speaker B: Watch.
[00:14:18] Speaker A: Well, it just came out.
[00:14:20] Speaker B: Yeah, the clear copy, right?
[00:14:22] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. The real thing. Like, remember we was talking about it or whatever? It really didn't come out yet. It came out that next Wednesday, so it really only been out, like, two weeks.
[00:14:30] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:14:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:14:31] Speaker B: That's why I was. That's why every time I ride by the movie theater, it's still on the board.
[00:14:34] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. You talking about the movie. Michael.
[00:14:37] Speaker B: Michael. Yeah.
[00:14:38] Speaker A: Oh, I was talking about the show. The. The show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
[00:14:41] Speaker B: Not a movie. Michael Jackson.
[00:14:42] Speaker A: Okay, I got you.
[00:14:43] Speaker B: Which movie were you talking about?
[00:14:44] Speaker A: So it's a. A documentary on Netflix that came out a couple weeks ago about a trial.
[00:14:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I watched that too.
[00:14:50] Speaker A: Oh, you did?
[00:14:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:51] Speaker A: You didn't make you mad?
[00:14:54] Speaker B: Cause somebody watches, like, clear some things up.
[00:14:57] Speaker A: Did it clear some things up or did it muddy the waters?
[00:14:59] Speaker B: Nah, it cleared things up because I don't trust.
[00:15:04] Speaker A: I mean, did it clear it up? On whose side? His side or the other side? Michael side or Michael side?
[00:15:08] Speaker B: Michael's side.
[00:15:08] Speaker A: Okay, okay. Cause some people was like, I saw somebody say it made them kind of mad, but anyway. But how'd you.
[00:15:14] Speaker B: But there's another. There's another documentary, too.
[00:15:18] Speaker A: The one I'm talking about is on Netflix.
[00:15:19] Speaker B: The trial one.
[00:15:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:20] Speaker B: So there's another one also.
[00:15:23] Speaker A: They were talking about that one on Netflix.
[00:15:24] Speaker B: That's the opposite. That one is the one that is against Michael the whole way.
[00:15:28] Speaker A: The one. The one. The people that I'm talking about is talking about the trial one. That's on Netflix.
[00:15:32] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, that one's good. Yeah, it was. It was cool. It straightened up. It cleared up the.
Why he came to the.
To the court in his pajamas that time.
It cleared that up.
Just the ending of it, because, you know, I was young then, so I didn't care too much about the trial.
So it cleared a whole bunch of things up. Where it was like, man, what about the. How did kids. The kids get to this house? And how. The kids say they seen this? You know, it cleared a lot of that stuff up. And once they dug into the mother, they found out she had, you know, scammed JCPenney's before.
[00:16:14] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:16:15] Speaker B: Said they was in there stealing. And when the cop came in, you know, came to arrest her, she tried to put allegations on them about her.
[00:16:25] Speaker A: Okay. Okay.
[00:16:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:26] Speaker A: So what you think about the movie, Michael?
[00:16:29] Speaker B: It was trash.
[00:16:30] Speaker A: Why you say it was trash?
[00:16:31] Speaker B: I mean, come on, man. Six out of six out of ten.
[00:16:35] Speaker A: Why you say it was trash?
[00:16:37] Speaker B: The look.
The. The look of the movie, of the actors, the movie.
It looked like a lifetime.
It looked. It looked just like a lifetime story. Like, you know what I'm saying?
[00:16:58] Speaker A: To me, I give it like a seven or eight out of ten.
[00:17:00] Speaker B: Nah, six.
[00:17:02] Speaker A: I said. I know.
[00:17:05] Speaker B: And the way they wasn't playing the music all the way, that might be for copyrights.
[00:17:11] Speaker A: I don't know. I mean, if they play Peace, they probably got. Got the copyright.
[00:17:14] Speaker B: They would play in the background. You hear more vocal than.
You know what I'm saying?
They have like a little hint of it in the background, but you'll hear his vocals more than anything else.
Like the concerts and stuff.
[00:17:29] Speaker A: Oh, maybe they. I don't know.
[00:17:31] Speaker B: It wasn't full out. The Michael Jackson song. That's what made me think about copyrights.
[00:17:36] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:17:38] Speaker B: But I didn't like it. Joe Jackson looked crazy.
[00:17:40] Speaker A: He looked like Joe Jackson looked crazy in real life.
[00:17:44] Speaker B: Nah, but that. That shit. That shit.
[00:17:45] Speaker A: Yeah, that big. Yeah, that big face big.
[00:17:48] Speaker B: It looked just like Rasputia from We.
[00:17:52] Speaker A: Everybody know where you're from.
[00:17:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it looked like that Cake, bitch.
Cake.
[00:18:00] Speaker A: It's like, who? Who ain't who? You talking about recipe?
I don't know. You know I'm talking about cake.
[00:18:09] Speaker B: Eddie Murphy is a genius. Yeah.
[00:18:11] Speaker A: Hey, I. Yeah, I watched that back recently, man, and that line just. Just got any.
[00:18:18] Speaker B: Drop that damn speak on his head. That was it. So.
[00:18:20] Speaker A: Yeah. That's your funny party.
[00:18:21] Speaker B: Party with the wine cooler.
[00:18:23] Speaker A: Yeah, you. That's your funny part right there.
[00:18:25] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh.
[00:18:26] Speaker A: That's all you watched?
[00:18:27] Speaker B: And Raising Canaan, first episode came out?
[00:18:30] Speaker A: Yeah, it did come out Friday. I haven't watched. I started to watch it this morning, but I did. Yeah.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: So spoiler alert.
Somebody don't make it through the first 20 minutes of the movie.
[00:18:41] Speaker A: Show.
[00:18:42] Speaker B: There you go. Show somebody didn't make it. Well, they probably know who didn't make it already, because 10 minutes after it came out, I started seeing people posting pictures.
[00:18:53] Speaker A: I ain't seen nobody talk about that yet. Yeah, I see.
[00:18:55] Speaker B: I seen them. I seen the. The RP pictures.
[00:18:58] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I haven't seen.
[00:18:59] Speaker B: I started seeing them shits.
[00:19:00] Speaker A: I was like, your algorithm a little different from mine.
[00:19:03] Speaker B: Yeah, I got the. The dirty side.
[00:19:05] Speaker A: You might have to. Yeah, we did say that. The dirty algorithm. Yeah.
Let's see what I watched this week.
I watched the Shy.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: Is it over yet?
[00:19:18] Speaker A: God, no. This the last season. Yeah, but it's only three. Three episodes in Three or four episodes this scenic season.
[00:19:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I want it to go off.
[00:19:26] Speaker A: Yeah, it is. It will.
It's just a lot over the top right now. Well, it's been over the top. The killing that. Like that. Well, okay.
Going with recent events in the city that I'm from, I can't say the killing is over the top. Cause we had some crazy killings in the, you know, city or whatever, so. But just the amounts of money, just the stuff that happens. Just the way it happens on top of each other.
[00:19:50] Speaker B: Right.
[00:19:52] Speaker A: Just. Just the way it happens. Just how outlandish these people are.
But it looks good.
[00:20:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:20:01] Speaker A: You know, I could tell they put money in it and I'm glad they had a, you know, eight season run or whatever. So I watched that.
I've been watching.
I haven't watched Raising Canaan like I said yet. I've been watching like. So I listen to the Breakfast Club. I still. I've been listening to the Breakfast Club since they been out.
Even when they weren't on the radio here, I used to listen to them on Iheart or whatever.
[00:20:22] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:20:23] Speaker A: But now they. They live. They live stream on Netflix every morning.
[00:20:29] Speaker B: Talk about live stream. Hit our other camera for them real quick.
[00:20:32] Speaker A: It's gonna be ugly. There we go.
[00:20:34] Speaker B: There you go. That's how we look.
[00:20:35] Speaker A: Yeah, we got the live stream camera over here. Yeah.
So I like it because when they play. So they can't play music.
So when the music is playing, you just see them in the studio and they talking about whatever, people bringing food in or. You know what I'm saying? And they. They might. Like Jesse, she might talk about a show she watching on Tubi or something like that. But you just hear them talking and you hear them talking about what stories they gonna talk about or, you know, they going through whatever. You know what I'm saying?
It has like little good behind the scenes stuff to it. Whatever. So.
[00:21:13] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:21:14] Speaker A: I've been watching that.
And that's it, man. Oh, I watched the Mandalorian movie. The movie the Mandalorian.
[00:21:23] Speaker B: I didn't know it was a movie.
[00:21:24] Speaker A: Yeah, it came out a couple weeks ago.
[00:21:26] Speaker B: I thought it was a series.
[00:21:27] Speaker A: It is a series. And then they bought out a movie.
[00:21:29] Speaker B: I didn't know. I mean, I thought the one that just came out was.
[00:21:32] Speaker A: Oh, you thought it was the new. Like a new season of the series? Nah, it's a movie.
[00:21:36] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So I'll watch it. Because the only reason I watched. God didn't want to get into it yet.
[00:21:40] Speaker A: Oh. Cause they come out every Week.
[00:21:42] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:21:43] Speaker A: It's a movie long, too. It's like two hours.
[00:21:45] Speaker B: Is it good?
[00:21:46] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it's good. I missed the Mandalorian.
[00:21:49] Speaker B: Okay. Because one of the Mandalorians, kind of probably the second one, I think, came
[00:21:55] Speaker A: out the second season. Yeah.
[00:21:58] Speaker B: Kind of was. Yeah, it was cool. But I was watching because I was into it now.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: Then I've been watching, like, you know, saying, the World cup is here, so. Okay, well, it's in North America, so, you know, people at work been watching it and. You know what I'm saying? Home. I've been watching a couple of the games.
[00:22:14] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:22:14] Speaker A: And then it's the finals, baby. Shout out to my New York people
[00:22:19] Speaker B: My knickers, My knickers.
[00:22:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Shout out to my knickers Shout out. DJ High Star.
He a Knicks fan. CAC Black. He a Knicks fan.
[00:22:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:33] Speaker A: Jb.
[00:22:34] Speaker B: Yeah, jb Definitely a Nick fan.
[00:22:37] Speaker A: Who else? A Knicks fan?
The amount of Knicks fans I could. Oh, yeah. My man at work, Ron.
[00:22:43] Speaker B: Don't worry, you're gonna see a lot more. Oh, yeah, Nick at five.
[00:22:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Since. Since they win or whatever, you know, you're gonna get your bandwagons. But them people who've been Knicks fans forever.
[00:22:54] Speaker B: So what's the name? I wish I knew that kid's name from Crookland.
[00:22:58] Speaker A: Oh, that died.
[00:22:59] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:00] Speaker A: So that somebody put up a picture
[00:23:01] Speaker B: of him sitting in front of the tv.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. Put up a picture of him, like, in, like. You know how those big crowds be.
[00:23:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:08] Speaker A: In New York. So it was like a generated picture of him with the Knicks jersey. Hole in the. The. The trophy or whatever, as dope. Yeah, he died in real life, or he died just in the movie night.
[00:23:19] Speaker B: He never. He didn't die in the movie.
[00:23:20] Speaker A: Oh, he died in real life.
[00:23:21] Speaker B: In real life.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was a picture. He was like, rest in peace, whatever his name was. Whatever.
[00:23:25] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:23:26] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm glad you brought it up, because I just saw that this morning. Yeah, that's really all I've been watching, man. I'm trying to watch. I'll probably watch Raising Canaan this evening or something like that. Probably when I'm editing.
[00:23:38] Speaker B: How you feel about the whole Nick crowd, Like, everything that's going on in New York.
[00:23:44] Speaker A: They too much, man. They too much, man.
[00:23:46] Speaker B: Son, it.
[00:23:47] Speaker A: Don't take all that, bro.
[00:23:48] Speaker B: Son, it shows why Nick is. I mean, it shows why New York is Gotham City.
I mean, something that will happen in Gotham City, man. Like, they go.
[00:23:59] Speaker A: Yeah, they Going crazy, man.
[00:24:01] Speaker B: They going crazy.
[00:24:02] Speaker A: They're going crazy.
[00:24:03] Speaker B: But I don't. You know what? New York always been like that.
You get a crowd of people, think, all right, so back in the day, when. Matter of fact, yesterday. Yesterday was Puerto Rican Day parade. Same thing. What happened? Like the Puerto Rican Day parade, you have, like a corner that just gets wild. And when, you know, people walk by, they mess with the people and stuff like that.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: You mean sexually assault the women?
[00:24:28] Speaker B: That too.
They got. You know that.
What about that shoot, that Central park raping? That was all because it was a group of them hanging out and just getting crazy.
[00:24:41] Speaker A: What's Central park raping?
[00:24:42] Speaker B: Back in the day.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: No, that wasn't him. It was one guy.
[00:24:48] Speaker B: No, it wasn't.
[00:24:49] Speaker A: It was one guy. Yeah, they proved it. The guy admitted to it in jail. That's how they got off.
[00:24:54] Speaker B: No, because you know what? I still remember some of the.
Some of the.
[00:25:00] Speaker A: No, they tried.
[00:25:01] Speaker B: When.
[00:25:01] Speaker A: When they tried to pin it on the guys, they said they was out there wilding.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what I remember.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: Wiling.
Yeah, that. All of that shit.
[00:25:11] Speaker B: No.
[00:25:12] Speaker A: Yes, I'm telling you. Did you watch the show?
[00:25:14] Speaker B: Not at what show?

[00:25:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw that. I watched that.
[00:25:19] Speaker A: Yeah, but in the show, it, like, showed what they really was doing.
They just got caught up and they put that on them. Like, all of the stuff was a lie and somebody in jail confessed to it.
[00:25:31] Speaker B: Okay, but they were wilding.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: No, they weren't wiling.
[00:25:34] Speaker B: Yes, they were.
[00:25:35] Speaker A: They weren't wilding. They weren't doing nothing like. They weren't doing nothing wild like that.
[00:25:38] Speaker B: But anyway, that was. They quote.
[00:25:40] Speaker A: No, that quote came from somebody else.
[00:25:44] Speaker B: Oh, Jim Jones.
[00:25:45] Speaker A: Using the language.
[00:25:46] Speaker B: Jim Jones came from. It came from Jim Jones.
[00:25:48] Speaker A: Jim Jones. What?
[00:25:51] Speaker B: He put it in. He put the verse in the song.
[00:25:55] Speaker A: But nah, man, ain't no way they didn't do. It wasn't like they was out there doing nothing illegal.
[00:26:00] Speaker B: What were they doing?
[00:26:02] Speaker A: They was just out, like in the area and they got. Matter of fact, they didn't pick them up at the park. They picked them up. They was getting them from random places.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: But in the park. They was in the park, you know, just running around.
[00:26:13] Speaker A: But they weren't wilding, though. Like, they weren't beating people up. No, not them kids weren't beating people up.
[00:26:19] Speaker B: Oh, hell no. I gotta go back.
[00:26:20] Speaker A: Yeah, go back and watch it. They got. They all got like.
I want to say she ran past them before or something.
Just being in the park. But they weren't wilding and doing nothing illegal. If I'm wrong, email us dj blazegmail.com. but like that wilding thing, that was just a term, you know, we in the culture use. Somebody took that term and put it like in the newspaper. Then like Donald Trump took a whole page in like the New York Times.
[00:26:49] Speaker B: Nah man, that was the kid's quote. He said we would just be out wilding. That's why everybody started using that word.
[00:26:56] Speaker A: Everybody was using the word before that. No, somebody put it in the thing though.
[00:27:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Nah, they wasn't.
[00:27:01] Speaker A: But they went. When he. They went wild and like doing nothing crazy like that though.
[00:27:05] Speaker B: Nah, they had to be.
[00:27:06] Speaker A: I'm telling you, man.
[00:27:07] Speaker B: It was a group of them, right?
[00:27:09] Speaker A: It was only four. I mean five.
[00:27:10] Speaker B: Five of them.
[00:27:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:27:12] Speaker B: Nah, I gotta watch this again.
[00:27:13] Speaker A: Yeah, watch it again.
[00:27:14] Speaker B: I gotta go back into it.
[00:27:15] Speaker A: Watch it again.
[00:27:15] Speaker B: Cause they did the documentary on the real.
Not the show you talking about, right?
[00:27:20] Speaker A: Uh huh.
[00:27:21] Speaker B: They did a documentary also of them coming outta jail and stuff like that.
[00:27:25] Speaker A: Of them getting out.
[00:27:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I gotta. You got me thinking, I.
[00:27:34] Speaker A: But you was talking about the Knicks fans Wolf Pack.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: That's. That was. Well, yeah, wolf.
[00:27:39] Speaker A: Yeah, it was something like that. They tried to call them the wolf pack or whatever.

[00:29:18] Speaker A: Yeah, this one right here.
[00:29:20] Speaker B: Oh, that's the one that. That guy that was just there.

You gotta swing. And once you. They see you knock one or two of them out, they gonna back up. Yeah, but you see, he turned around, the whole crowd just moved out the way. I like that kind of.
[00:30:18] Speaker B: Hey, but you know what? He had size on him, too.
[00:30:21] Speaker A: He did.

[00:30:22] Speaker A: They caught one dude, the one dude, they rip his jersey off. They caught him, and they caught. He fell. They got him on the ground and. And pummeled him.
[00:30:30] Speaker B: It was over.
[00:30:31] Speaker A: Yeah, it was over.
[00:30:32] Speaker B: I'm telling you, man. It's Gotham City.

[00:32:45] Speaker A: That week I went.
[00:32:46] Speaker B: I mean, well, that was that week.
[00:32:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, it was Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but I went Saturday.
It was dope. I mean, it was.
It was uptown, downtown, Charlotte, whatever you call it. Yeah, it was just so many people, but everybody was like, you know, there and going to the places. It was just. And the weather went really, really bad.
[00:33:05] Speaker B: I was just gonna say the weather was pretty good.
[00:33:07] Speaker A: It was pretty decent, especially for a June day in the middle of the day.
[00:33:11] Speaker B: It was right before it really got hot around here.
[00:33:13] Speaker A: Yep, yep.
Yeah. But yeah, it was. It was a good time to have it.
Food pretty straight or whatever, you know what I'm saying?
[00:33:20] Speaker B: But yeah, you bring your boy back. No egg roll or Not God.
[00:33:23] Speaker A: Who you. You better go out and get your own egg roll. All right, Egg roll now, y'.
[00:33:27] Speaker B: All.
[00:33:27] Speaker A: It was delicious, but a little bit too much grease on that egg roll this time.
Other than that, it was good.
Yeah, she was eating out.
[00:33:36] Speaker B: No,
[00:33:39] Speaker A: he ain't never been up there. I don't think he ever go to that one.
Yeah. Shout out to Big Cliff. He came through with some.
With some.
Some. Some. Some stuff to consume or whatever.
[00:33:53] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: Hey, man, my mind was gone, bro.
[00:33:56] Speaker B: It was something good, something.
[00:33:57] Speaker A: It was some good. Something new for me that I ain't never did before.
[00:34:01] Speaker B: Dang.
[00:34:01] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:02] Speaker B: Be careful what you're saying now.
[00:34:04] Speaker A: People thinking you ain't know what they gonna think.
[00:34:06] Speaker B: I know. But you know what they think? They think the worst.
[00:34:09] Speaker A: I can think whatever they want.
[00:34:10] Speaker B: I never did it before.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: I ain't never had it before. I never did before. But you know what I'm saying? It was a.
[00:34:15] Speaker B: Just say you ain't never had it before.
[00:34:17] Speaker A: I never had it. Did.
[00:34:18] Speaker B: There you go. Don't say did it because he's like, oh, this could be smoking crack and
[00:34:22] Speaker A: might as well be.
I look at all that stuff the same.
But, yeah, I was going to hit a high starter. High star went out of town. I think I listen to his show. I think he said he went to Baltimore. Baltimore. Baltimore.
[00:34:34] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:34:35] Speaker A: But yeah, he says, you're what's up, bros?
How y'?
[00:34:40] Speaker B: All?
[00:34:40] Speaker A: Just checking in on the check in.
Go, New York, go. New York, go.
[00:34:44] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:34:45] Speaker A: A talking about, man, he said been. Been enjoying the championship. Been grilling the last couple weekends. He said, do y' all grill or smoke? You grill or smoke?
[00:34:54] Speaker B: I. I put stuff on the little grill there. A little shout out.
[00:34:57] Speaker A: The little square jump.
[00:34:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:59] Speaker A: Or honestly.
[00:35:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, Regular joint.
[00:35:02] Speaker A: Regular square jump. Or you got the big jump.
[00:35:04] Speaker B: It's a big one.
[00:35:05] Speaker A: Okay, Okay. I ain't gonna lie, bro. I don't. I can't. Like, if we go to somebody house, I go to somebody house and they be like, you know, put this on the grill. Whatever, whatever. I can do it.
[00:35:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:15] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Just from watching. But I ain't got my own grill.
[00:35:21] Speaker B: Get one, man.
[00:35:22] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. When I get one.
I ain't putting too much of my business out there, but I probably will get one in a few months or whatever, and I'm gonna start doing the grilling stuff. Shout out my boy Edie. Shout out my boy Gilmore. Shout out my man J. Bird. Them niggas really be grilling. I want to try smoking My cousin Nigel. Shout out to Nigel. He really be smoking.
[00:35:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
You know what, though? I get tired of smoke food.
[00:35:48] Speaker B: For real?
[00:35:49] Speaker A: Yeah. So like, I went. It's a place that you get smoked turkey wings and all that stuff from. They do it here and I ate there a couple times. I like that. It was just too much smoke food.
[00:35:59] Speaker B: Turkey wings and what else?
[00:36:00] Speaker A: They sell turkey wings and salmon and chicken and.
[00:36:06] Speaker B: And it's all smoke.
[00:36:07] Speaker A: All smoke?
[00:36:08] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, okay.
[00:36:08] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:36:09] Speaker B: But it's expensive.
Yeah.
[00:36:12] Speaker A: They trying to hit the food truck industry, man. Like, they be trying to knock you in the head, man. $5 for a lemonade.
[00:36:21] Speaker B: Oh, you talking about that one too?
[00:36:22] Speaker A: Yeah, man. You know what I'm saying? You want two meats at 27?
[00:36:27] Speaker B: Don't ever say that out loud again.
[00:36:28] Speaker A: Yeah, two meats, cuz.
[00:36:30] Speaker B: Just two.
[00:36:30] Speaker A: I'm gonna say it. Pause.
It ain't two entrees. See that? Why you gotta get words? Me things. Two meats. Two meat platter.
Two meat platter, cuz. I mean, shout out. Shout out to cuddle. Shout out to cuz. He said, just checking in.
Just checking in. No peace. DJ Hosta. Shout out to DJ Highstar.
[00:36:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:36:50] Speaker A: Oh, I talked to, you know, another mandatory overtime. Mandatory overtime. I talked to another family of the show, the homie bmac.
[00:36:57] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:36:58] Speaker A: Bmac doing big things down there in Charleston. Got a. Got a new building. He got 16 suites. So if you looking for a suite down here in Charleston.
[00:37:06] Speaker B: In Charleston.
[00:37:07] Speaker A: Yeah. He been in Charleston?
[00:37:08] Speaker B: I thought he was in Charlotte for some reason.
[00:37:09] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Okay. Close cha.
Oh, this is Charles.
Yeah, yeah. But yeah, he down in Charleston.
[00:37:20] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:37:21] Speaker A: Him and his fam. Him and the wife and the babies.
[00:37:24] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:37:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:25] Speaker B: They near the water anywhere? Like, is any water near them?
[00:37:28] Speaker A: He then Somerville or Goose Creek. Oh, so, I mean, hell, you down there, you down there.
[00:37:32] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:37:33] Speaker A: Yeah, shout out to him.
I guess we get into some of this sad stuff or whatever.
So last week while we were away, the verdict came down with the Cyrus.
The killer of Cyrus. What's his last name?
The guy. The guy that killed him. There was chow that happened down out in Columbia, S.C.
shot him in the back, running out the store or whatever.
Tried to say he was stealing some bottled waters.
[00:38:03] Speaker B: You saw the video?
[00:38:06] Speaker A: The store video? Yeah, I did, man.
At first I was like, all right, he a kid. He 14.
[00:38:12] Speaker B: He was stealing, though.
[00:38:14] Speaker A: He wasn't.
[00:38:15] Speaker B: He wasn't.
[00:38:16] Speaker A: Nah. It looked like if he put it in his bag, he Put it back.
[00:38:20] Speaker B: Nah, he looked like he put it in his front pocket.
[00:38:22] Speaker A: Wherever he put it, he put it back.
When they got this body, he had nothing on him.
[00:38:27] Speaker B: Oh, shit.
[00:38:28] Speaker A: Yeah, he had nothing on him.
My. You know what I'm saying? They say he was 14 and he had a gun.
And, you know, you can say, well, you in the store with no money, with a gun, even if you were shoplifting, it still don't equate to them taking your life.
[00:38:45] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:38:46] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? And then you see the video, they chase him down. Yeah, they chase. You see them in. You see the video. You see him put the waters back in the case.
He walk out, they come out yelling at him, and he take off running.
And then they run him down and shoot him.
[00:39:03] Speaker B: It was like three of them chasing, too.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Nah, it was two. It was the father and son. Then the mom come out.
[00:39:07] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:39:08] Speaker A: But she don't really chase. The lady come out, she don't really chase from the video, you know, the video I saw, it was a little choppy, but to see the video, man, that just make you mad, though. What made me a little. You know what I'm saying? A little mad.
It don't take all that. So people in the black community were like, you know, we've been dealing with this type of stuff from.
Oh, shit, these videos deleted.
We've been dealing with this type of stuff from, you know, from white people for a long time.
Oh, yeah, here it is.
Let's see if y' all want to see this video.
But, yeah, we've been dealing with this type of stuff from Asian people for a long time.
Even going back to the thing that happened in the 90s in LA.
So you see him walking out, he ain't running now. That's the sun come busting out. And them too.
[00:40:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I was going to say, they
[00:40:10] Speaker A: running into the woods now. He start running nice. He runs so hard, his shoe come off.
[00:40:14] Speaker B: His shoe come off.
[00:40:15] Speaker A: Why?
[00:40:16] Speaker B: He was so. He was scared.
[00:40:17] Speaker A: Yeah, he was scared. And think about, like, you as a person, you 14 years old.
The way you gonna react is different than you react as a grown up.
As a grownup, I'm gonna stand 18 toes down and I'm a. Yeah, I ain't got shit, cuz, you know what I'm saying? Talk shit. 14, I'm damn sure gonna run.
But the guy got acquitted on all charges or whatever charges he's had. I wanna say they charged him with murder, but you run down somebody and you shoot him in the back. What is that? Other than murder?
[00:40:49] Speaker B: Yeah, that's murder.
[00:40:50] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? It ain't self defense. They tried to say he pointed a gun at them. Witnesses said he didn't point a gun at them. It wasn't no rights or nothing in Columbia, but.
Yeah, but they say the gun fell out of his bag when he fell. Cause he was running from them and either got shot and fell or tripped and fell before.
[00:41:08] Speaker B: They said it was in his bag.
[00:41:10] Speaker A: Either in his bag or like in his waistband or whatever.
[00:41:12] Speaker B: It looked like he was gripping his waistband. But, you know, certain kids like that age, you know, they kind of act like they got it.
[00:41:20] Speaker A: Yeah, but they don't, man. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:41:24] Speaker B: So, you know, it could have been that. Yeah, but there's still no gun showed up in the case, right?
[00:41:30] Speaker A: I don't. That part, I don't know. I think they did find one on the scene or whatever. Oh, yeah, but they trying to say that the dad really tried to save the son. Like, the son really was the one to shoot him. That was some, you know, rumors going around, but. Yeah. So people call for. What was the lady name? The girl? The young girl in la, I think her name was Latasha something. Latasha. Leticia. And she. The. The lady in.
In LA tried to say she stole some milk.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: I remember that.
[00:42:02] Speaker A: Remember that? You don't remember that?
[00:42:04] Speaker B: How long ago was that?
[00:42:04] Speaker A: It was in, like, the 90s, and it caused a big riot. Cause the lady got off.
[00:42:09] Speaker B: Oh, nah, I don't remember that. Only riots I remember in LA was, you know, the Rodney King ones.
[00:42:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
I want to say her name. Leticia. Latisha. Latasha.
Latasha Hollins. Was this it? Yeah. Latasha Harlins.
Yeah, that was it. Latasha Harlins. It was an Asian store owner, and she accused us trying to steal some milk, and she shot her right there, like, right. Right there at the Rich, and just shot her and she got off. Yep. Yeah, this. Damn. This happened in 1991. This. This shit right here. Grainy.
[00:42:48] Speaker B: Oh, that's why I don't.
[00:42:49] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh.
[00:42:51] Speaker B: Oh, you know what?
[00:42:52] Speaker A: Yeah, she grabbed her, trying to say she stole the milk.
[00:42:55] Speaker B: That was that long ago for real?
[00:42:56] Speaker A: Yeah. 91.
Yep.
[00:42:58] Speaker B: Yeah, that's when it was at its height. The Asian community against black.
[00:43:03] Speaker A: Mm.
But, like, even now, see, she gave the milk back and tried to walk out and she shot her just like that. Yeah. So that caused a big stir or whatever, but even now, people are talking about how we get treated in like beauty supply stores and Chinese restaurants, All the places we, you know, nail salons and stuff. All the places we patronize and put money in their pocket. And they don't really do nothing in our community as far as like spending money in the community where they make money.
So a lot of Asian people have been coming out and saying that we. Our own problems in the communities and all types of stuff like that.
Have you heard anything like that?
[00:43:57] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, hold on. I'm sorry. I was doing something while you.
[00:44:03] Speaker A: You were doing something while you were talking you. Other than paying attention to the show?
[00:44:07] Speaker B: Nah, you know, 12. It's 1240 something.
I mean, I'm trying to.
[00:44:13] Speaker A: You double book.
[00:44:14] Speaker B: I'm trying to finish up now.
So how you feel about the other thing, man?
[00:44:19] Speaker A: What other thing?
The.
The.
[00:44:25] Speaker B: The other verdict that just came out over the.
[00:44:27] Speaker A: In Texas.
[00:44:28] Speaker B: Yeah,
[00:44:31] Speaker A: I think he got overcharged because he got 30 talking about Carmelo Anthony and the Austin. What's his last. I think his last name. Austin killed a kid at the track meet or whatever. I think he got overcharged.
[00:44:43] Speaker B: Do you think there was a reason why he got overcharged?
Because they. They could have charged him with. What was it? Involuntary murder?
[00:44:56] Speaker A: I don't think it's involuntary manslaughter.
[00:44:57] Speaker B: It was some.
[00:44:58] Speaker A: It was it maybe manslaughter?
[00:44:59] Speaker B: No, it was. It was a murder, but it was third degree or second degree intentional, like
[00:45:07] Speaker A: the way they worded it, like it wasn't intentional. Yeah, probably involuntary manslaughter then.
[00:45:13] Speaker B: No, it wasn't.
[00:45:13] Speaker A: It wasn't manslaughter.
[00:45:14] Speaker B: Yeah, it ended up being murder.
It was. It was titled murder. But they use a lot of that footage from the body camera.
[00:45:23] Speaker A: From who?
[00:45:23] Speaker B: Body camera from the two officers that.
[00:45:26] Speaker A: That showed up.
[00:45:26] Speaker B: Yeah, the sro.
[00:45:27] Speaker A: And what did they do? What did they do when they showed up?
I mean, what. What showed on the body cam footage?
[00:45:32] Speaker B: They showed it in court.
[00:45:33] Speaker A: No, I'm saying what, did you see it or.
[00:45:35] Speaker B: No, I didn't see it. They only showed it in court.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: Oh, oh.
[00:45:38] Speaker B: But they used the audio.
[00:45:40] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:45:40] Speaker B: And one on one of the body cams. You can hit it. The officer say, we have the could be suspect, and you hear him in the background. Ain't no could be. I did it.
So, you know, they kind of. I think they use that wording just to make it a little bit more harsh.
[00:46:04] Speaker A: Yeah, damn.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: Yeah, it was. It was tough.
[00:46:08] Speaker A: Yeah, because they said that under the tent. He said something like, I ain't going nowhere, dude. Going nowhere. It was something like, I Ain't going nowhere. Do something if. Try to make me.
[00:46:18] Speaker B: Put your hands on me.
[00:46:18] Speaker A: Yeah. See what happens like that.
[00:46:20] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:46:21] Speaker A: I just don't feel like.
I mean, I done been to, like.
And me and some people, we was talking about, like, you know, playing sports, going to your rival or whatever. Cause one of my homeboys, he was like, man, you don't. You know, you go to this place or that place, you need a number. I was like, bro, you played sports for years.
When have you taken a weapon to opposing place, rivals place, or anything, you know what I'm saying? In school, on school ground. Like, when have you taken that? You know what I'm saying? Weapon.
That part of it is kind of. You know what I'm saying?
[00:46:54] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:46:55] Speaker A: School grounds, and then the part about him being under someone else's tent and they asking him to leave, you know what I'm saying? But there was a rumor that the Austin kid and his brother, you know, approached him or was trying to jump him or whatever. Whatever that part of it. Still, they. Still.
I didn't. I was listening to something they was saying, like, that kind of wasn't true.
And they were saying, like, all the witnesses said that Carmelo was the aggressor the whole time.
[00:47:29] Speaker B: Yeah. You know who all the witnesses were?
[00:47:31] Speaker A: A bunch of white kids.
[00:47:32] Speaker B: The kid.
The kid that got killed's friends.
[00:47:36] Speaker A: Yeah. But he was under their tent. So of course I'm saying those.
[00:47:39] Speaker B: That's. That's where all of that's coming from.
[00:47:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you don't know if you could take that as truth or not.
[00:47:45] Speaker B: Yeah. So what made me think about it was they didn't let him take the stand because his lawyer didn't want him to take the stand.
[00:47:53] Speaker A: Most of the time, people that, in those situations don't take the stand.
[00:47:57] Speaker B: Yeah, but you got to hear that when it's a case like that, all of them against him, you got to get some kind of fact in his. In his word, you know, in his favor also.
[00:48:07] Speaker A: Yeah, sometimes. But, like, if you as a.
As a lawyer know that this person can't handle that pressure.
[00:48:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:17] Speaker A: And they'll flip.
[00:48:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:18] Speaker A: You want to keep them off so you can make.
[00:48:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:20] Speaker A: You can make them look as sympathetic as you want, you know what I'm saying?
As far as, like, painting a picture of them, but then when they get on the stand, they can flip it, you know what I'm saying?
By the other team putting pressure on them, whatever. So most of the time, they don't, you know, What I'm saying. Cause they're scared they're gonna trip they self up, you know, so most of. Yeah, either way, I still don't think he should have gotten murder and 35
[00:48:49] Speaker B: years
[00:48:52] Speaker A: just based on. They didn't know each other. That was another thing. They didn't know each other. They had no previous encounters or whatever. So murder to me is like, I'm coming here with the intent to cause harm.
[00:49:05] Speaker B: That ain't murder.
[00:49:06] Speaker A: Murder, I say to me. Yeah, I said to me.
[00:49:08] Speaker B: I see what you're saying. Yeah, I see what I'm saying. But I thought about it, too.
All right, so say I'm the judge.
Did somebody get murdered? Yes, somebody got murdered.
[00:49:20] Speaker A: Somebody died.
[00:49:21] Speaker B: Somebody died. So now that's already.
That's already taken care of. Like, we know that now is how stiff should the punishment be?
[00:49:34] Speaker A: Well, the judge.
When they went back to deliberate, the judge said. He said. He offered the jury.
He gave the jury the option to convict him of manslaughter.
[00:49:46] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:49:47] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Cause to me, it's more like manslaughter than it is murder. Cause, like, if we fighting, if me and you start fighting and you knocked me down, I hit my head on the table, on the floor, and I die. That's more like a manslaughter than a murder. Cause you ain't came there. You ain't want to kill me. We was just fighting. You know what I'm saying? So.
But for him to have the knife and he stabbed him in the chest, too. He ain't jig him in the stomach.
[00:50:12] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:50:12] Speaker A: So he had one stab wound in the chest, so that kind of looked bad for him, too.
[00:50:16] Speaker B: He was gripping the knife.
[00:50:17] Speaker A: Who was.
[00:50:18] Speaker B: He had his hand in the book bag the whole time, they say.
They said he had the hand in his book bag. He was telling the kid, if you touch me, you see what happened? You know, he was doing that, doing that. So then when he finally pulled it out and then they got into a scuffle, that was it.
[00:50:32] Speaker A: So did you see the dad's reaction after?
[00:50:34] Speaker B: Nah, I saw he said something kind of crazy, man.
[00:50:37] Speaker A: He was like, you raised this kind of. He called a dad a bitch and a pussy.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: Oh, for real.
[00:50:42] Speaker A: Called a mama a broke bitch. All y' all doing this for money. He said, I got a name for him since he said, I try not to make it about race.
[00:50:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: I don't want to make it about. I didn't want to make it about racism. So since y' all wanted to make about race, you know, I tried to pray with y'. All. Yeah, y' all had this scamming preacher come out, a scamming lawyer come out or whatever, and blah, blah, blah. Yeah, he was like, y' all kicked me out because I went where I needed to be put, was supposed to be there or whatever. Yeah, I tried to hug y' all and, you know, say, you know, I understood. But since y' all wanted to make it about race, we'll make it about race. He was like. He. He called.
He said. What did he call him? He called Carmelo the watermelon felon.
[00:51:23] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:51:23] Speaker A: Yeah. So you, you know, it's Yalls fault. Y' all entitled talking about black people this and that.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: And look, and I was just getting ready to defend and say, hey, I'll be mad too.
[00:51:34] Speaker A: But yeah, he went in, he was like, yeah, yeah, he went. He. He went, totally. But the crazy thing is, man, in the comments, the, like, people in the comments agreeing with him, all the stuff he's saying, they ain't saying.
It's crazy, bro. It's crazy. I'm talking about. He was saying some crazy, crazy stuff, man. I'm gonna see if I can pull up some. I had it saved, but some. It got. Some of this stuff got deleted.
[00:51:58] Speaker B: So how much. How many years you think he should have got?
He gotta get. He gotta get some years. He gotta get some double digits.
How many you think.
[00:52:09] Speaker A: See the part about him gripping the knife?
[00:52:12] Speaker B: You didn't know that the whole time?
[00:52:14] Speaker A: Nah, I didn't know that part, but I still didn't agree with him taking a weapon to a school thing anyway.
[00:52:20] Speaker B: Oh, that's you taking it on school grounds. That's one thing right there.
[00:52:23] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Even though it wasn't that it was. It was. I don't think it was at either one of those schools, but it was at a school. So either way that still count is on school.
[00:52:30] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, yeah.
[00:52:30] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:52:31] Speaker B: And they probably was already rivaling with that school. Like, hey, man, man, when I go over there, I'm bringing my knife, you know, they probably had a back and forth.
[00:52:39] Speaker A: But even schools rivals, even the things that I see, I don't. I know they in the same, like, county or whatever, but it didn't say. Because none of the stuff that I. I read or listened to said that they were rivals.
[00:52:51] Speaker B: But you know how well you play sports, so you know how you be like, man, if I go there, you know, they be kind of saying slick, slick stuff. And, you know, you play sports, so you Know the difference going. It don't even have to be a rival, but you could know. But so, like, I might be out of place. Cause I'm so called. Only black guy there.
[00:53:08] Speaker A: I look at it. I look at it like our, like in our county, like, for my school, Hartsville is kind of like a rival for us.
[00:53:18] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:53:18] Speaker A: Hartsville a rival.
[00:53:19] Speaker B: Hartsville a rival to other.
[00:53:21] Speaker A: But Lamar ain't a rival. We in the same county, but Lamar ain't a rival for us.
[00:53:25] Speaker B: I got you. I got you.
[00:53:26] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So I was like, well, if I feel like to paint the picture as far as, like these journalists or whatever, I feel like if it really was a big crosstown rivalry or what, you know what I'm saying? They would say it.
[00:53:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:38] Speaker A: And they didn't say it. So that's why I took it as just two schools that's in the same district or whatever.
That's why I really didn't want to put. Put that on it.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: I got. I think.
I think there was more back and forth than they adding to it.
[00:53:54] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:53:54] Speaker B: They saying that something had. They saying that one of the girls was there while the argument. By the time she walked away, that's when the kid. Her head got stabbed.
I think there was back and forth before that. It was a reason the kids said, I'm not moving or I'm not getting from under this tent.
So, I mean, but it was.
[00:54:13] Speaker A: They say it was pouring down raining. Yeah, but they said it started pouring down raining.
[00:54:17] Speaker B: But you know what another.
I don't know if it was a lawyer or somebody on the defense. They were saying at the time it wasn't raining.
[00:54:26] Speaker A: Oh, really?
[00:54:27] Speaker B: So, I mean, they probably had some back and forth. They probably had some words before that or whatever. But I'm not saying that's a reason to kill or shoot. And fight him out.
[00:54:38] Speaker A: Yeah, fight him out.
[00:54:39] Speaker B: Hit him with something.
[00:54:41] Speaker A: Yeah, don't kill him.
[00:54:42] Speaker B: Nah. I mean, if you gotta hit, hit him with something, swing something. Throw the book bag. You brought that knife. You. You start a new. That's a new trouble right there.
That's a new trouble.
[00:54:52] Speaker A: But they say he, He. It's. It's a lot. A lot to it. Okay. They say he had like a 3.8 grade point average.
[00:54:57] Speaker B: And man, I don't, you know, they gonna dig all that up after. They're gonna be like, yeah, he's a bad kid, or, yeah, he's a. He's an honor kid. He was going to college. Yeah, yeah, that Sounds good.
[00:55:06] Speaker A: But I mean, that's all the stuff that. I mean, that's all the stuff that got presented in court. You know what I'm saying? So I don't know you. You want to hear the dad, though?
[00:55:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, go ahead.
[00:55:17] Speaker C: Sorry.
You have embarrassed your own culture and race.
Don't get me wrong. We got a lot of people that embarrass me, too.
But you guys, you got a patent on that.
And the only people that's going to change it are you.
Don't blame the white person because we can't change it, but you're going to blame the white person for every thing else I'm going to tell you right now.
Charleston White, you think you're funny?
We'll see who's laughing, Drew. Anthony, you're a. And a coward, and you raised one.
Kayla, you drunk.
What'd you do to that boy to make him stab somebody? My God, what kind of mother are you?
Hey, Kevin Hayes, you liar.
Day after it happened, how many. How many lies did you sit and type up on your keyboard, you big keyboard warrior? You're a big, tough man. You still live in Baton Rouge?
Remember you said you'd come to Frisco, buddy. You're supposed to find me. I told you we could sit down and talk.
[00:56:31] Speaker A: Yeah, that was. That was a little bit early on in the. In his rant.
[00:56:33] Speaker B: That's crazy. That's crazy.
[00:56:35] Speaker A: Before he said the watermelon felon thing. I don't know what Charleston White said, but, yeah, he got. He got mad at Charleston White. And it was in him. Yeah, it was in them. That stuff don't come out of like you can get mad at a white person, do something bad to me. I ain't gonna be like all white people. This, that the third. Whatever. Whatever. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
[00:56:54] Speaker B: It was already in them.
[00:56:55] Speaker A: It was already in them. Just call them watermelon felon. That was in you, cuz it's in his boys, too. Exactly. That was another thing people saying. Yep, yep.
[00:57:03] Speaker B: Sorry to say it, but it might be in the boys too.
[00:57:06] Speaker A: But. Yeah. So those are two cases. Two big cases that's been going on.
[00:57:10] Speaker B: How many years would you go?
[00:57:12] Speaker A: Oh, maybe 15.
[00:57:13] Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:57:16] Speaker A: You asked me.
[00:57:17] Speaker B: It got to be 25. 20.
[00:57:19] Speaker A: 15.
[00:57:19] Speaker B: 20 or more.
[00:57:20] Speaker A: I say 15.
[00:57:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:57:23] Speaker A: For manslaughter.
For manslaughter.
[00:57:26] Speaker B: Gotta give him murder.
Gotta get murder.
[00:57:29] Speaker A: I say 15. Yeah, that's me.
[00:57:32] Speaker B: Yeah, it gotta be 20.
[00:57:33] Speaker A: I would have said you would give him 20.
[00:57:35] Speaker B: I'd say 20.
[00:57:35] Speaker A: Well, you might as well let him get what he got in 30. Damn. 5.
[00:57:38] Speaker B: Not a 20. 25. He'll get out in 18.
[00:57:42] Speaker A: He got 35, though.
[00:57:44] Speaker B: It's got to be a lot. What, 28, 27.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: I don't know if it's. I don't know. I don't know the rules on state laws or whatever. Somebody said you got to do half, but I know in, like, federal, you gotta do, like, 85.
[00:57:57] Speaker B: Yeah. You guys, you're still gonna do a majority amount, but we'll see.
[00:58:01] Speaker A: Maybe they'll do an appeal or whatever.
[00:58:02] Speaker B: He did it. They already filed for it. Yeah, they filed for it, saying they mad at the lawyer for not letting them take the stand.
[00:58:09] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know if I want him to take the stand.
[00:58:12] Speaker B: He. He grown. He better. He better give his story some. Somehow his story got to come out.
[00:58:17] Speaker A: Man, he looked guilty with that bald head.
[00:58:19] Speaker B: He do, right?
[00:58:20] Speaker A: They should let him keep. Well, he can't keep his hair.
[00:58:22] Speaker B: Probably where he was at.
[00:58:22] Speaker A: He should have got a damn. A Caesar or something. Probably that damn ball head. He like a damn serial killer.
[00:58:27] Speaker B: Yeah, probably where he was at. They.
[00:58:29] Speaker A: Yeah, they went up and down. Yeah. And cut it all off.
[00:58:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:58:32] Speaker A: That a thing, too?
Yeah, it was something else I wanted to get into, but something with some lawyer stuff and. Go ahead.
You sure? Go ahead. All right.
[00:58:43] Speaker B: It's a circus, right?
[00:58:46] Speaker A: There's so much stuff from South Carolina that's gone viral and going nationwide or whatever. Like the Cyrus.
You know that verdict with Child that's going viral.
Then the other thing. We talked about it a couple weeks ago with the food critic. Benji, he's.
[00:59:05] Speaker B: Or been a critic.
[00:59:06] Speaker A: Been a critic. Yep.
[00:59:08] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:59:08] Speaker A: That ain't even his Benji. I wonder where he get Benji from.
[00:59:11] Speaker B: It might be his middle name.
[00:59:13] Speaker A: Maybe so that. Yeah, you smart. You smart.
So he has something come out recently, and let me see if I can.
[00:59:21] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:59:22] Speaker A: What? That I'm watching.
[00:59:24] Speaker B: Okay. Once you pull it up,
[00:59:28] Speaker A: go ahead and say what you was about to say. Well, I know. I'll. I'll let you say it after I.
After we play this right here, the way this video is, man.
[00:59:39] Speaker B: You know why I sent it to you, right?
[00:59:40] Speaker A: It just make it seem like it's just content, man.
[00:59:43] Speaker B: Oh, you got to read the comments.
[00:59:44] Speaker A: Here we go.
I'm sure you heard about the viral Percy and Willie situation. I know, my love. Don't touch me.
[00:59:50] Speaker B: Childish.
[00:59:51] Speaker A: Don't tap me. I have it, sir. Don't tap. Don't check me, boy. Well, I contacted one of the best law firms around. Aem Anasta Pula. We got to stop letting stuff slide, y' all. Tell you right now, I'm standing for what's right. What's up, man? Look good, man. Nice and clean.
[01:00:06] Speaker C: Mr. Turner may have a few remarks,
[01:00:08] Speaker B: and then we'll be glad to take.
[01:00:09] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[01:00:10] Speaker B: Pause. Man, we live in a wise way.
[01:00:13] Speaker A: Why your boy up there?
[01:00:14] Speaker B: Man, that's what I don't know. Why. Why.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: Why your boy up there?
[01:00:17] Speaker B: Read the comments, though. There's a lot of. I thought I was the only one
[01:00:20] Speaker A: that think, oh, no. People saying, why he up there? I saw a bunch of clown emojis on that man, man.
[01:00:24] Speaker B: And people saying, man, I know that damn computer don't work.
[01:00:31] Speaker A: I ain't even saw that.
[01:00:34] Speaker B: I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad at him going. Cuz, really, it's still.
It's still content.
[01:00:41] Speaker A: That's the thing, man. Like, if you really serious, why do it in your old content, your own content way? It seem like it's just for content, and that's all it's about. You know what really made me mad in this clip?
[01:00:54] Speaker B: Go ahead.
[01:00:55] Speaker A: He said, I don't. I ain't here for the trouble or nothing. I don't.
I don't want Person Willie to be boycotted. Why the. You suing in.
[01:01:02] Speaker B: Nah, you know that. You gotta do that. You gotta.
[01:01:05] Speaker A: Why even mention it?
[01:01:06] Speaker B: You gotta get the people on your side.
[01:01:07] Speaker A: Why even mention it? What people he want on his side?
[01:01:10] Speaker B: The people.
[01:01:10] Speaker A: The. The. The people. The only people that's not on his side are the people that's calling him a coon and a monkey.
[01:01:17] Speaker B: God.
[01:01:18] Speaker A: Those are the people that's not on his side. Guess what? I'm not on your side now, either.
[01:01:22] Speaker B: Who's the people in the background?
[01:01:24] Speaker A: You know who that nigga is.
[01:01:26] Speaker B: That's your boy.
[01:01:26] Speaker A: I know who that lady is.
[01:01:27] Speaker B: I don't know who. Who's all the people, though.
[01:01:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm going to Person Willis. Fuck it.
[01:01:31] Speaker B: See this?
[01:01:32] Speaker A: He don't want me to. He don't want us to boycott. I'm going to fucking Person Willis to try that ribeye again.
[01:01:38] Speaker B: I think this right here is his footage. That other footage was.
What's her name?
[01:01:45] Speaker A: Who?
[01:01:46] Speaker B: The one that was interviewing him.
[01:01:48] Speaker A: What other footage?
[01:01:50] Speaker B: Tanya Brown. Did you see it?
[01:01:53] Speaker A: Oh, he was talking.
[01:01:54] Speaker B: It's off of the side. She's off to the side.
[01:01:56] Speaker A: Oh, okay. I got you. I got you.
[01:01:58] Speaker B: She wearing sunglasses and, man, it just looks crazy to me.
[01:02:01] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Now you can put a suit on.
Before you had that tank top on going into people restaurant. Now you got a suit on trying to look a certain way. You look guilty.
Yeah, let him get this.
[01:02:12] Speaker B: Let him get his. Oh, what they say all publicity is good publicity.
[01:02:15] Speaker A: Yeah, true, true, true. I ain't hating, but damn, you stood on that. Not going to person, Willis. And now you gonna say who stood on.
[01:02:26] Speaker B: Ain't nobody. No, everybody's still in there.
[01:02:28] Speaker A: No, not. No, everybody, bro. Not know everybody.
[01:02:31] Speaker B: You know what I mean when I say no.
[01:02:32] Speaker A: Words mean things.
[01:02:33] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:02:33] Speaker A: We don't know what you mean everybody.
[01:02:35] Speaker B: But be.
[01:02:36] Speaker A: No, it's a lot of people I know that was like, no, I ain't going there. Yeah, they done. They go, I can't go there. Like I want to go, but I can't go. I know a lot of people like that. You know what I'm saying? Cuz they was happy it came back and wanted to get the ribeye and all this and that. But now you going to say you don't want no trouble.
[01:02:52] Speaker B: I sort of.
[01:02:53] Speaker A: If you ain't want no trouble, why you ain't just left?
[01:02:56] Speaker B: No, I understand that part.
[01:02:57] Speaker A: N. I understand. I don't understand it at all.
[01:02:59] Speaker B: That's the.
You got to do that part for the camera. I don't want us to, you know, I don't want us to fight. I just want us to get along, you know?
[01:03:07] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[01:03:08] Speaker B: Kind of like that Rodney King.
[01:03:10] Speaker A: Yeah, right.
[01:03:11] Speaker B: That's that.
[01:03:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:03:13] Speaker B: You know, you can't get mad at it.
[01:03:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
Before we get out of here. God damn, man.
Let's get into our scam of the week before we get out of here.
[01:03:31] Speaker B: I mean, if we don't answer the door.
[01:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
That mean we busy, man.
Do my whole little vibe out for a quick little second.
Let's get into the scam of the week. I did fraud today.
I did fraud today.
[01:03:48] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:03:49] Speaker A: I did fraud today.
[01:03:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:03:52] Speaker A: I did fraud today. Okay.
Okay.
Ah, so I. Scam of the week this week happened right here in North Carolina. Well, right there in North Carolina.
[01:04:45] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:04:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
Men accused of stealing nearly $600,000 worth of electricity near Charlotte Motor Speedway. Two men were recently accused of stealing nearly $600,000 worth of electricity from a substation near Charlotte Motor Speedway. Arrest warrants that alleged that 55 year old Michael Keith Klutz and 65 year old Edward Jerome Little stole power from a Duke Energy substation on Morehead Road in Concord, right outside of the iconic racetrack. The warrant said that both Klutz and Little were Duke employees and that they gained unauthorized power for Ver El RV park, which is a campground right outside the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
[01:05:31] Speaker B: Oh.
[01:05:32] Speaker A: Warrant said the value of the allegedly stolen power was worth an estimated 50 $591,000.
Both Klutz and Little were charged with the following offenses. Injured in the energy facility, obtaining property by false pretense, greater than 10, $100,000. Money laundering, greater than $100,000.
A warrant show Little was also charged with two counts of having a weapon of mass destruction.
The warrant indicated those charges stem from having a fully automatic gun. Oh.
Oh, he had a footed automatic gun.
[01:06:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:07] Speaker A: So that's okay.
[01:06:09] Speaker B: He might add a rocket launcher or something. He had.
[01:06:11] Speaker A: No, no, he said a fully automatic gun.
[01:06:13] Speaker B: No, before they said weapons of master screw.
[01:06:15] Speaker A: That's the foot. That's. That's it.
[01:06:17] Speaker B: Oh, hell.
[01:06:18] Speaker A: Because you can't have a fully automatic weapon. Yeah, you can have a semi automatic weapon.
[01:06:23] Speaker B: Yeah, they got a whole bunch of.
[01:06:24] Speaker A: So you must have a switch on it.
[01:06:25] Speaker B: Now they got tricks. Now. You could buy a certain.
[01:06:29] Speaker A: Not a switch.
[01:06:30] Speaker B: You could buy a certain trigger.
[01:06:33] Speaker A: Would a bump stop count as that?
[01:06:35] Speaker B: They got different. Yeah, they got a whole bunch of
[01:06:37] Speaker A: different things, but they're not a bump. Stocks aren't illegal though, are they?
[01:06:42] Speaker B: Any alteration to the firearm could be
[01:06:47] Speaker A: legal, depending on where you at.
[01:06:49] Speaker B: Nah, it's illegal.
[01:06:51] Speaker A: I thought bump stops were illegal.
[01:06:52] Speaker B: Nah.
[01:06:54] Speaker A: Okay, well, maybe that's what he had.
[01:06:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:56] Speaker A: Records show both men were arrested on Thursday, June 4. They were taken to the Cabarrus County Jail and was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
And remember, we talked about the baby and his festival.
[01:07:13] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:07:13] Speaker A: His festival was right at the place where they, like, right next to the place where they had stole the power.
So they were thinking that. They was thinking that his festival was gonna get canceled.
[01:07:24] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:07:24] Speaker A: And it was a.
Did you see the video of him? Yep, on the news. So. Yeah, he had a.
It was a news reporter reporting on the festival. And he jumped in and the ba. The baby saw them report. He did a U turn, came and talked about the festival. And he did real good as far as like promoting the festival and everything. Talking about who all was going to be there. I think that was yesterday, too. That festival was yesterday.
[01:07:45] Speaker B: Yeah, he did a couple. I saw a couple of those videos with him walking around the, you know, different. The vip. Oh, look at this man. He laid on the couch. Y' all can have this at, you know. Yeah, he was pushing it. Yeah.
[01:07:57] Speaker A: Shout out to him. Cause he. He's really trying to rebuild that image.
[01:08:00] Speaker B: So I, I, I think so. They must have had that trailer park, right?
[01:08:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:08:06] Speaker B: So if they had that trailer park, they probably, you know, added, hey, give us 700amonth and it'll come with free electric. So that's.
[01:08:14] Speaker A: Well, I don't know if they own the RV park. Oh, okay. Or they just.
Maybe they did, like you said, did a deal with.
[01:08:22] Speaker B: Yeah, that's why I think they could
[01:08:23] Speaker A: come with the people of the RV park.
[01:08:25] Speaker B: And I think that's how they calculate it. Cause any other time it's just a meter going. They don't know exactly, you know, But
[01:08:31] Speaker A: I mean, if the meter, if the meter is supposed to be turned off.
[01:08:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:08:37] Speaker A: Or that substation supposed to be turned off, then they can calculate from. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe that's it too, though.
[01:08:42] Speaker B: That's crazy.
[01:08:42] Speaker A: I wonder how. Yeah, like I said, like you said. How did they figure out that they were stealing it? And then how did they figure out? They probably went to the peoples like, yo, who did this. Hey, it was them niggas. Well, not them niggas. Cause it was two white old men.
[01:08:54] Speaker B: Yeah. I think they own that damn trailer park.
[01:08:57] Speaker A: RV park.
[01:08:57] Speaker B: Yeah. And they were given, you know, a deal. Hey, you get free electric with this. They probably even lived in that trailer park.
[01:09:04] Speaker A: They. Yeah, and they probably make a lot of money come race time because then people be pulling them RVs, you know,
[01:09:11] Speaker B: how much money, probably RV.
[01:09:13] Speaker A: Well, RVs ain't always on pull, though, because it can be the bus style. RVs, too.
[01:09:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:17] Speaker A: Yep, yep. Yeah, that's all we got for this week since motherfuckers want to rush us off.
