[00:02:41] Speaker A: Shout out to Wally June out. [00:02:43] Speaker B: Hey, I was gonna FaceTime Wally June. No, I was gonna FaceTime Jones from the Music Jones podcast. [00:02:51] Speaker A: Shout out to Jones. [00:02:52] Speaker B: I was gonna FaceTime because I had. I had Ghost on the phone. I already FaceTimed somebody else. Yeah, but they ain't pick up the phone. [00:02:59] Speaker A: You should have. Well, it depends on what number you got of Jones. Cause one of Jones phones ain't iPhone. Oh, okay. [00:03:08] Speaker B: I thought about it. I was like. I said, nah, I ain't. [00:03:11] Speaker A: Man, you would have made that man day you got when you. You got to do that, though. See, you gotta call him. And he don't answer and be like, man, I had Ghost face on the line for you, D. Whatever. You know what I'm saying? [00:03:21] Speaker B: So last night, my people's. He was telling me. He's like, yo, man, you got all these resources. You know, these people, man. You gotta show up to the events, too, man. You do this. I was like, yeah. Cause you know what I found out about this event, like, last week? [00:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:34] Speaker B: I just. I was looking for the Wu Tang because they added some more dates. [00:03:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:39] Speaker B: With Bone Thug. So I said, what? What'd you go say? [00:03:43] Speaker A: No, I just said, s. Cause you said Bone Thug. That's a Bone Thugs with an S. So just thinking that's a New York thing. Y' all take the ass off. Like, y' all from Atlanta, but go ahead. [00:03:53] Speaker B: So I came across Ghost having his own, you know, ghosts in Capitan. And they. They tour already by themselves. So I was like, oh, they in Charleston. So I call people. So, like, yo, y' all gonna be here on the 20th. Y' all gonna be here Saturday. He's like, yeah, yeah, you coming through. I was like, all right. I. I might. That hit with the mic. Because they always say. I say I might come. [00:04:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:14] Speaker B: I end up going where? [00:04:16] Speaker A: Where? So work. No, so, no, I'm saying, so work and that. That's what you got into this. [00:04:23] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, that's it. [00:04:24] Speaker A: Word. [00:04:25] Speaker B: What you been up to, man? I see you celebrating your Juneteenth. [00:04:29] Speaker A: You got to. You know what I'm saying? Black. And I'm proud. Y' all celebrate Fourth of July like it's yours. Be celebrating goddamn St. Patrick's Day. Celebrating. [00:04:38] Speaker B: What's Valentine's Day? [00:04:39] Speaker A: Well, not Valentine's. You know, that's another bad one. Cinco de Mayo, Thanksgiving. Yeah. All of that, you know what I'm saying? [00:04:48] Speaker B: Keep on going. Give me another. [00:04:49] Speaker A: Some of them, they. They. They be quite so. It's. It's more Juneteenth celebrations, you know what I'm saying, going on. [00:04:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. In the past five years, I think [00:04:57] Speaker A: it's really jumping up. Yes. [00:04:59] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:59] Speaker A: And it's like cities having the events. Not just, like, groups of people or whatever. But I had to go to Charleston. Well, I went to Charleston this week. Earlier this week. Oh, word came back. Then I. Then Thursday, while they had a show in Charlotte. So I went up after I got off work, went to go to the show. [00:05:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:20] Speaker A: But the weather was bad and it was light. It started lightning, then it started storming. [00:05:25] Speaker B: Oh, it was. It was the outside joint. [00:05:27] Speaker A: Yeah, it was that same place that Ari Lennox was, so they had to cancel the show. They say they're gonna like redo the show or whatever. Yeah, I don't know. So that kind of blew that night. [00:05:37] Speaker B: So you didn't get to see it? I mean. [00:05:38] Speaker A: Nah, they. Cause it. It was lightning like before. [00:05:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:42] Speaker A: Like, if you got an outdoor event with like a lot of these, like, national places, if it's like. If it's a lightning strike within 10 miles or something, it's like 30 miles. [00:05:51] Speaker B: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:05:52] Speaker A: Within 30 miles. Because we had last year at our homecoming. Our homecoming was at the raceway, the big raceway, NASCAR racetrack in Darlington. And it was a lightning strike, but like, it was like they said, 30 minutes away. That's how. I know. That's how got the 30 minutes away or whatever. [00:06:09] Speaker B: They got the app that show you. Exactly. Yeah. [00:06:12] Speaker A: But this was like the officials, like people was already inside and everything. And they told people to, you know, go to your car or whatever. And they did the same thing at the Wally thing, but. And I noticed, like going. The traffic was like real bad. I was like, traffic wasn't as bad for our Lennox. I guess Wally got this more people, but it was. They weren't letting people in. So. Okay, I guess that was it. So I bust a little turn, whatever. Because I kind of know the area teeny little bit. I recognize roads and stuff a little bit. [00:06:38] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:38] Speaker A: So I was like, well, shoot, I'm a. I'm not gonna follow the traffic. I'm gonna go around and come up the other side or whatever. And then I wound up going to Camp North End. And I was parked and somebody was like, check, check. They. They page. They not letting people in. Whatever, whatever. So I just sat there. Yeah, that starts to go all the [00:06:56] Speaker B: way to two hours away. [00:06:57] Speaker A: Yeah. But I mean, you know, I had a room, I went to. Went to a bar for a little while. You know what I'm saying? It was cool. Then I went to work the next morning. Then I got off work a little early and I went back up, same room. And I went to Rock Hill Shout out to Big Cliff and DJ Highstar. Big Cliff was like hosting in the city of Rock Hill. They had a big Juneteenth. Juneteenth celebration. They had like food trucks and stuff. And then High star, he was DJing. [00:07:28] Speaker B: Oh, words. Yeah. [00:07:29] Speaker A: Then they had this band out there. That band was real nice, you know what I'm saying? I'm talking about. I wasn't expecting Rock Hill to be packed like that. Yeah, man, that joint packed, dog. [00:07:37] Speaker B: I'm talking about all the color folks out there. [00:07:40] Speaker A: Yeah, man. [00:07:41] Speaker B: Was it color? Was it. Did it look good out there? [00:07:43] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it looked real good out there. Real good. Rock Hill, City of Rock Hill. Like, downtown is real nice. You know what I'm saying? So it was like. I forgot what they call it. Something at the fountain or something. [00:07:53] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I've never been downtown Rock Hill. Me been to Rock Hill, like, a couple times, but I never been downtown there. [00:07:59] Speaker A: Yeah, that jones was nice, though. That was a real nice event. You know, I see they had, like, events. Juneteenth events all over, you know what I'm saying? You know, they had. I don't know. I guess they had one here. I know they had a big one in Columbia and all over the place. So I saw a big one in Charlotte. [00:08:15] Speaker B: I was gonna see that one, too. Yeah, I seen that one. They had a big one there in Pennsylvania, too, that, you know, had a lot of artists performing. [00:08:21] Speaker A: Oh, for real? Yeah. That's what I like to see, you know what I'm saying? Celebrate that, y'. All. You know, keep celebrating that. But, yeah, man, that's all I did. I'm kind of tired. Cause all that ripping and running, you know what I'm saying? And then back and forth, getting up early to go to work. And, you know, I did, you know, saying I moved our medal. So, you know, that was worth it. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to the homie, man. I had a homie come through one day. So he said his daughter came through early and met up with it and got. I wasn't there, but she went to another salesperson. Being fast. He was gonna hit me up. So they had already talked to him. So I'm like, okay, cool. But this nigga wind up buying two cars. Oh, damn. Yeah, I'm like, bro, I was kind of pissed. But then I had another homie come in. [00:09:00] Speaker B: Wait, wait, wait. He brought two cars with another person? [00:09:02] Speaker A: Yes. That same day? [00:09:04] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:09:06] Speaker A: Exactly. Man, he ain't your friend, man. I tell him, yeah. I was like, next time we get on that poker table, I'm trying to knock your head off. [00:09:11] Speaker B: Yeah, he ain't your friend. [00:09:12] Speaker A: Yeah, man. But then I had another homie come through. Him and his old lady. You know what I'm saying? They was looking for. They was looking for like another car, A pre owned car. [00:09:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:21] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? And I, you know, come on, they [00:09:23] Speaker B: got a brand new job. [00:09:24] Speaker A: Them two cars would have sent me over the top though. [00:09:26] Speaker B: Two cars, man. [00:09:28] Speaker A: Yeah, two. He could have got the one for me, but I still sold one that day too. But if I'd have sold two that day, that would have been three, because y' all know math. We got smart listeners. [00:09:35] Speaker B: Hey, two cars. [00:09:36] Speaker A: Two cars is something different, man. [00:09:38] Speaker B: He don't like you like that. [00:09:39] Speaker A: He must be. Don't, man. [00:09:40] Speaker B: Tell him I said it too. [00:09:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I might play this clip for him. Yeah. It kind of hurt my heart a little bit, you know what I mean? But that's all I did this week, man. A lot of traveling. I, I made sure. Like last night after I got off, I just went straight home. [00:09:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:56] Speaker A: And you know, I was like, well, I'm gonna watch some tv. So I watched a little TV last night and then I went to bed so early last night till I woke up this morning real early. So I watched some shows and stuff like that. But yeah, we get into that. That's crazy. What about you? What you watch this week? [00:10:09] Speaker B: Oh, before you get into that, that's crazy because like I said off camera, my ocd. It ain't ocd, man. [00:10:18] Speaker A: It's on the edge, man. [00:10:19] Speaker B: It's not. [00:10:20] Speaker A: Cause you went there, you paid for [00:10:21] Speaker B: the room, the room set, everything. [00:10:24] Speaker A: You neglected your wrists. That's how far away were you? [00:10:28] Speaker B: I was in Charleston. [00:10:29] Speaker A: Okay, so two hours. [00:10:31] Speaker B: So getting in the hotel room, I never sat on the bed. I'm sitting on this chair after I'd have wiped it down and all that. So I watch TV in that chair. I'm on my phone in that chair. I put my head back, close my eyes on that chair. And when I finally said, let me see about this bed, at least laying [00:10:51] Speaker A: across it, maybe you need to bring your own linen. [00:10:55] Speaker B: I thought of that. But you put it on the same bed, so it, it doesn't even count. I do bring an extra T shirt and put it over the pillow. [00:11:05] Speaker A: Okay. [00:11:05] Speaker B: That I sleep on. [00:11:06] Speaker A: But won't you just bring pillowcases? [00:11:08] Speaker B: I couldn't do it last. Nah, cuz the pillowcase so thin. A T shirt, I double it. [00:11:12] Speaker A: It's ocd. [00:11:15] Speaker B: But either way. [00:11:16] Speaker A: Or just bring your own pillows. [00:11:18] Speaker B: After I got to. Now it's too much carrying and all that. [00:11:21] Speaker A: I ain't. Oh, now it's too much carrying, mister. I got my own cleaning products and yeah. [00:11:25] Speaker B: So I got out of there. Two o' clock in the morning. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Damn. Cuh, you a little tired too? [00:11:32] Speaker B: Oh yeah, I stopped there, grabbed my shit, got back on the road. Got home like 4:30. [00:11:37] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:11:37] Speaker B: Got a shower. 5:30. I was in the bed. [00:11:40] Speaker A: Woke up at what time you woke up? [00:11:42] Speaker B: I think it was like nine o'. [00:11:44] Speaker C: Clock. [00:11:44] Speaker A: Okay, four hours. You got a good four. [00:11:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm cool. But I know I'm on. [00:11:48] Speaker A: You can't do that too many nights in a row. [00:11:50] Speaker B: Oh yeah, you right. [00:11:51] Speaker A: If you get. Cause people think like if you sleep, say like you sleep four hours a day or five hours a night and then the next night they try to make up for it by getting extra hours. So I read something that said that sleep don't work like that. [00:12:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:06] Speaker A: If you lose too much sleep, it takes like two weeks for you to get your body back. Regulated. So Yeah, I remember you talking about that. I'm two weeks out. Yeah. [00:12:14] Speaker B: So I know. I'm watching everything today though. I'm watching all the stuff today. [00:12:18] Speaker A: What have you watched so far? [00:12:20] Speaker B: Cape Fear. I'm on it. [00:12:21] Speaker A: Oh yeah, somebody told me about that. Maybe you told me about it, but somebody told me to watch that. [00:12:25] Speaker B: Yeah man, you gotta watch it. I was gonna ask you if you watched that new episode of that. [00:12:30] Speaker A: Uh huh. [00:12:31] Speaker B: Raising Canaan. [00:12:32] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:34] Speaker B: And that's it? [00:12:35] Speaker A: That's it. [00:12:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause I was working all week, so you know, I'm going to bed early and in between my YouTube and stuff like that. Oh, I've been watching what's his name? [00:12:49] Speaker A: Gene Deal? [00:12:50] Speaker B: No, the comedian with the big nose. Mojo. [00:12:55] Speaker A: Mojo, the light skinned dude. The black dude? [00:12:58] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:12:59] Speaker A: He like pick at people. [00:13:00] Speaker B: Yes. He got a crowd. Work like videos on YouTube. I'll be watching. [00:13:06] Speaker A: Oh, okay, okay. [00:13:07] Speaker B: Some of them shit's like an hour long. It's good though. [00:13:10] Speaker A: You, you love that YouTube. [00:13:12] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:13:16] Speaker A: So I watched like you said, Raising Canaan. I guess. Would it be. I guess because we recording a couple days after you caught up with this season. [00:13:26] Speaker B: Don't do it. [00:13:27] Speaker A: Okay, Okay. [00:13:28] Speaker B: I ain't telling you I'm an episode behind. [00:13:30] Speaker A: Okay. I ain't gonna tell you that. Cause it's kind of spoilery. So I'm watching Raising Canaan. The shy watching that. I've been watching, you know, I said it last week. But I'm enjoying watching the Breakfast Club on Netflix. Cause I don't get to hear that dumb music that they have to play. Sexy Red or how long of that wave. It's the regular show is live. [00:13:55] Speaker B: No but like how long is that? [00:13:57] Speaker A: It's from. [00:13:57] Speaker B: Without the music in between and all that. [00:13:59] Speaker A: What do you mean? [00:14:00] Speaker B: The clips in between, how long is the interview? Like the whole show. [00:14:04] Speaker A: It's the regular show. But like when they playing music, this is behind the scenes. So they either you just hear what they talking about, like when they just in the studio or they talking about what they gonna talk about coming up, how they decide real quick. Or it's like they just keep the cameras rolling. Sometimes it's them bringing a person back, like you know, walking a person through. [00:14:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:25] Speaker A: And you know what I'm saying, it's that. So I like that. Yeah, it's live. Live. It's a lot. Cause I checked to see if it was a big delay and I checked on my phone and I know it's a small delay from the phone to the radio, depending on where you live, but it really wasn't a big delay from the phone. I wanna say the TV might have been the head of the phone one day, but. Yeah, it's like right there. [00:14:53] Speaker B: Oh, word. [00:14:53] Speaker A: Yeah. So you know what I'm saying? So I'm enjoying that. A show. I just realized one of my shows that I love the first season, it's called the Agency. It's about the CIA in London. They in London doing work and overseas doing work or whatever. I forgot. I think the lead actor name is something Fassbender. Yeah, that's crazy. James Fassbender or something like that. And then one of the Jeffrey Wright is in it. The. The girl, honey, I think her name is Sophie Turner. She played in Queen. Queen and Slim. [00:15:31] Speaker B: The black lady, the dark. [00:15:33] Speaker A: Yeah, she's in it. She plays like a. A African because I think she's African. I think she from London or something like that, but I think she African too. [00:15:40] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:15:40] Speaker A: Yeah, but she plays like an African person or whatever in it. [00:15:44] Speaker B: Without the London accent. [00:15:45] Speaker A: No, she got like an African accent. Oh, wow. Yeah. One of those countries. [00:15:48] Speaker B: What do they call those code switches? [00:15:50] Speaker A: No, she just acted. [00:15:51] Speaker B: Nah, I'm just saying, you know, it's. It's a little. [00:15:54] Speaker A: A week old switch. And then I watched this documentary on Netflix called Maternal Instinct. A lot of people talking about this documentary, it's about. I think they in Alabama or Oklahoma somewhere. And it's about a guy that starts dating this girl and the girl tells him and the people in. In the town, because she's not from that town, that her family has money. They come into some money or whatever and she's about to come into money. So they start dating. She gets her mom, he. She gets his mom a car and they get a truck and trying to buy all this land and all of this. How much of this you want me to tell you? [00:16:39] Speaker B: Are they trailer park. [00:16:40] Speaker A: They're not really trailer park type people like that. They just middle class. Middle, like middle. Middle class people. [00:16:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:50] Speaker A: From what I can tell, like he's work on the. He like working on farms and doing that type of stuff. She bought him like a hundred thousand dollar truck and all kind of stuff. And they get pregnant. Was supposedly get pregnant, but come to find out she was lying about everything. And then it turns like real dark. [00:17:12] Speaker B: What do you mean? She lied about the. [00:17:14] Speaker A: She lied about the money. She lied about. Yeah. Cause the mom's car gets repossessed after about three weeks because she like, if you don't make your first. If you buy a car and you don't make your first payment. Yeah, they repossess it. Now if you make some payments, they give you some months. If you start making payments. [00:17:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:17:31] Speaker A: If you done made payments and then, you know, they give you like two or three months or whatever, then they come and repossess it. But if you miss your first payment, they coming to get it. [00:17:39] Speaker B: I guess they ain't putting no money down. [00:17:41] Speaker A: It don't matter. Damn, it don't matter. You miss your first. [00:17:45] Speaker B: No, I mean the fact that putting money down mean they had a little bit of money to. [00:17:49] Speaker A: No, it don't matter what you put down. If you miss your first payment, they coming to get that car. I know a guy. He put. [00:17:56] Speaker B: No, I'm not talking about that part. I'm talking about the part of her lying about having money. [00:18:01] Speaker A: Oh, I don't know if they put money down or not. Yeah, I don't know if they didn't say they could have. Cause she, you know, got the mama a car or whatever, but. So she lied about the money. She had a whole lot. Like when I say they were buying land, she had like a whole group of people that was calling these realtors or whatever. The people that were selling the land. A whole like few people. A lawyer and this person and that person. And all of those people were her. She had a whole scan with that going. She had a whole. And her lie. She lied about her pregnancy. [00:18:36] Speaker B: What about this hundred thousand dollar truck though? Like how did. [00:18:39] Speaker A: Now that part. I don't know how they got the truck. I know that truck cost a lot. Cause it was like a 2,500 Denali and them Jones Cost a lot. You know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So like that it was just a whole bunch. And she even had kids previously that she wasn't taking care of. There was a whole bunch to that. [00:19:02] Speaker B: So who killed who? [00:19:04] Speaker A: You would really wanna know. [00:19:05] Speaker B: No, I don't. [00:19:07] Speaker A: You think you gonna watch it? [00:19:07] Speaker B: Yeah, I think I'm gonna watch it. [00:19:08] Speaker A: It's good. And it's a meme. I don't know if you've been on social media in the past few days, but it's a meme that's going around of a doctor. And it's just a picture of the doctor. Like he knew the whole time or whatever. Whatever. [00:19:19] Speaker B: Nah, I haven't seen that. [00:19:20] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it's a picture of him, but he's a part of it. And it's early on, but when it gets to the end, it get real dark. But it's interesting. It'll keep you interested. [00:19:31] Speaker B: Was it instant? What is it? [00:19:34] Speaker A: Maternal instinct? [00:19:35] Speaker B: Okay. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Yeah. Then, you know, it's even. You know, Juneteenth is in June, but it's also Black Music Month. And a lot of times with npr, they do a lot of, like, tiny desk people. [00:19:47] Speaker B: I forgot about that. Did you watch it? [00:19:49] Speaker A: I watched a few of them. [00:19:50] Speaker B: Okay, go ahead. [00:19:51] Speaker A: So Eve had one. [00:19:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I see. [00:19:53] Speaker A: Hers was good. Cause how they transitioned through the songs. Joe had one, which is cool. You know, Joe makes. Got a lot of popular music in the. You know, in with the blacks. [00:20:05] Speaker B: He was singing on that one. [00:20:06] Speaker A: Yeah, he did. And then eight Ball and MJG had one. [00:20:09] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:20:09] Speaker A: And I watched theirs. I ain't the early stuff. I was. It was cool. [00:20:14] Speaker B: You don't like the skinny, and you don't like skinny A ball. [00:20:18] Speaker A: Nah, he cool. I mean it. Just because he had health issues. He had to get right that man in his 50s or whatever. [00:20:24] Speaker B: Yeah, but once he got skinny, the music was over. [00:20:27] Speaker A: They ain't made no music since he was skinny. What do you mean? Nah, but I like the latest stuff. Like when they was on Bad Boy south, you know? Don't they? [00:20:37] Speaker B: Yeah, I like that song. [00:20:39] Speaker A: You know that song? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that. You know what I'm saying? So they did that. They did a good bit of their music, though. [00:20:44] Speaker B: They had a good fan base. [00:20:45] Speaker A: Yeah, they do. They got a real good fan base. Yeah. Yeah. So that's all I really watched throughout the. Throughout the week or whatever. Yeah, I watched a lot, saying, I've been busy. [00:20:56] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna watch some stuff starting today. [00:20:58] Speaker A: Yeah, go ahead. Get it in. Because you don't. You ain't working this week. [00:21:01] Speaker B: Nope. [00:21:01] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So next week, y', all, we should have a whole bunch of. L watch this and L watch that. [00:21:07] Speaker B: Yep. [00:21:08] Speaker A: L did this. I need to go shooting, man. I ain't shot my new gun yet, man. I need to come out to the. To the range, man. [00:21:15] Speaker B: Let's do it Tuesday. [00:21:16] Speaker A: If I. If I don't go to work, if it ain't raining. Yeah, if it ain't raining. If I don't go, I'm probably. I'm gonna go to work, though. I might get off early and come. Come shoot a little. [00:21:23] Speaker B: Yeah, let me know. [00:21:24] Speaker A: Shoot a little bit, man. We do got one email from the homie. DJ High Star. Shout out to him. [00:21:32] Speaker B: Yo, yo. Mandatory overtime. Huh? [00:21:34] Speaker A: Mandatory overtime. He said, you're. What up, y'? All. Been roughly a week. Been. Been roughly a week, been being champion, and it feels pretty damn good. Be easy. I appreciate you for popping out to show love this past weekend. Means a lot, my brother. Happy Father's Day. L. And on behalf of Knicks fans everywhere, I'd like to say happy Father's Day to us for making all of our opponents in the playoffs our children this year. And throw Boston in there, too. He said parade vibes was crazy. Yeah, I meant to watch the parade, too, man. [00:22:05] Speaker B: They going crazy. [00:22:06] Speaker A: Yeah, I meant to watch it, man. I saw a couple clips of the parade. Like that one lady that was climbing on the pole. Oh. [00:22:14] Speaker B: And she dragged it, pulled the other one down. [00:22:16] Speaker A: Yeah, but did you see, like, how it started? [00:22:20] Speaker B: She. [00:22:20] Speaker C: She. [00:22:21] Speaker B: She was trying to get on that. On that platform or something. The lady was trying to stop her from putting her foot on that platform. [00:22:26] Speaker A: Well, she climbed. She was already up there. But the lady told her story. She was like. She was messing with her the whole time. Like, she was trying to pull her down, so she decided to climb down, and when she climbed down and she put her foot there. [00:22:39] Speaker B: Yeah, she kind of moved. That's. [00:22:40] Speaker A: She tried to push her foot. Yeah, I seen it. [00:22:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:22:42] Speaker A: Yeah. And that's when she was like. She was like. When she did that, she was like, I just, you know. So she pulled off and went to wailing on her. So, you know, she said, top three moments, homie. Dodging the police. Oh, yeah, I saw that. The dude running from the police. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Which one was it? [00:22:57] Speaker A: It was a dude. He was like, oh, yeah, he dodging. He put the moves on him. [00:23:01] Speaker B: Ooh. Yeah. [00:23:01] Speaker A: Then he jumped the fence and get in the crowd. Yeah. The dude that got Revived with Narcan and tried to kiss the emt. [00:23:09] Speaker B: I didn't see that. [00:23:11] Speaker A: So I did see a dude. It was an older cat. [00:23:12] Speaker C: He. [00:23:13] Speaker A: It looked like he had on a fake New York Knicks jersey. [00:23:15] Speaker B: And he had corn braids. [00:23:17] Speaker A: Yes. Maybe that dude corn rolls. [00:23:19] Speaker B: Or whichever ones y'. [00:23:20] Speaker A: All. What y' all call them corn braids up there? [00:23:22] Speaker B: I don't remember. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Oh, we call them corn rolls down here. [00:23:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:23:25] Speaker A: And he put water on his head. [00:23:27] Speaker B: On his head. [00:23:27] Speaker A: And then they put him. [00:23:28] Speaker B: They drove him away on the thing. [00:23:29] Speaker A: He put his hand out, like playing [00:23:31] Speaker B: on the game or some. [00:23:33] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, so I saw. I did see that one. Then he said, and the body positive shorty that tossed a white girl. Okay, we saw all of them. Okay. [00:23:41] Speaker B: Yeah, she was. [00:23:42] Speaker A: Shook some ass, then whooped some ass. I love New York, man. He said, I'm proud of Jalen Brunson as well. I brought it up on my show. But what are some of y' all favorite father son combos in sports? Father son combos. Yeah, he did bring up a lot of the ones, I would say, too. I ain't got no father and son combos in sports. [00:24:01] Speaker B: I don't even watch no sports. [00:24:03] Speaker A: Okay. Of course. LeBron and his son playing together on the same team. Ken Griffey Jr. Ken Griffey Sr. Playing on the same team. [00:24:15] Speaker B: I remember them. Yeah, I remember that one. [00:24:17] Speaker A: Me and my daddy playing on the same team when I was in high school. [00:24:20] Speaker B: What? [00:24:21] Speaker A: Yeah, me and my daddy played on the same team. [00:24:23] Speaker B: He was in high school, too. [00:24:24] Speaker A: When I was in high school. No, he was grown. I was a senior. [00:24:29] Speaker B: How he played on the damn team then? [00:24:30] Speaker A: No, we played on a softball team. Oh, softball. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. In the league. So me and some of my homies played, but yeah, and then when I got outta high school, I played on the team, too. Who else? Father son combos in the league. Hmm. [00:24:48] Speaker B: Damn it. Oh. Oh. Did they play at the same time? Nah, they didn't play at the same time. Steph Curry. [00:24:57] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no. Not at the same time. But like Jalen Brunson, dad coaches on the Knicks, which is cool. That's a. I guess Doc Rivers and his son, I think Austin Rivers played on some of Doc Rivers teams, so that's kind of cool to coach his son. [00:25:16] Speaker B: But playing, though. [00:25:17] Speaker A: Playing, yeah, but playing on the same team. Definitely. LeBron and his son, Ken Griffey Jr. Ken Griffey Sr. Playing on the same team early in Ken Griffey career. I guess maybe Dion and his son's playing. His son's playing for him. Going from Jackson State to Colorado. You know what I'm saying? [00:25:42] Speaker B: You got me on that one. [00:25:43] Speaker A: I like that one. [00:25:45] Speaker B: Yeah, he got me on that one. [00:25:46] Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess that they're pretty much the ones Father, son combos and sports. He said, gotta run. Y' all have a good show. Let's go, nicks. He said, P.S. new episode of mandatory overtime out now. Parade for times like. Yeah, I like how he did that. Parade for times like this everywhere. You get your podcast. Yeah, he. He talked a lot about the damn New York Knicks stuff and all of that, man. [00:26:10] Speaker B: So I got. I'm. I'm gonna sit and look at some of them pictures. I gotta find some of them. Some of those videos. And, like, you see all the people. Yeah, there was one that was like panning a building. [00:26:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:26:21] Speaker B: And it had people all over the building and it pan. And like, the alleyway of it. The alleyway was freaking. [00:26:27] Speaker A: Yeah, that's crazy. [00:26:28] Speaker B: All they was on the fire escapes and everything and kept on pan. It was nothing but people. People like. [00:26:33] Speaker A: I ain't seen. No, I don't. They didn't even do it like that for the Giants, I don't think, man. [00:26:38] Speaker B: That's the first time I ever seen that. [00:26:39] Speaker A: All the Yankees. [00:26:40] Speaker B: That's the first time anybody. I mean, that was a lot, man. That was. They was partying like they was. I gotta call it. Party. They was mobbing before they even won. [00:26:55] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, they were. We talked about the robbing dude. The dude in the Robin jersey. [00:27:00] Speaker B: Yeah, man. You know, I sent him a message. [00:27:02] Speaker A: Oh, you did? Yeah, boy, we talked about. Did we talk about that last week? [00:27:06] Speaker B: I think we did. [00:27:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Cause they won last week. We did. [00:27:08] Speaker B: Brought the video up. [00:27:09] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that is right. Yeah, yeah. Cause you said something about it. [00:27:12] Speaker B: Yeah, I sent him a video. I sent him a message to see if we reply back. [00:27:16] Speaker A: Yeah, he's been. He come to find out he's not even a Spurs fan. [00:27:21] Speaker B: Oh, word. [00:27:22] Speaker A: He said he just went there just to mess with the people, to see if they'll mess with, you know, try [00:27:26] Speaker B: to think he's a wrestler. [00:27:27] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no, no. He's not a wrestler. [00:27:30] Speaker B: What is it? [00:27:30] Speaker A: They just put him in a wrestling match just because of that. [00:27:32] Speaker B: I seen that recently. [00:27:33] Speaker A: Yeah, I just saw that last. Last night or earlier this morning? [00:27:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I seen that recently. [00:27:36] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think they say he's really a Philly fan. Oh, okay. Sixes fan. [00:27:41] Speaker B: So when I sent him a Message. It went through on, I think, two of his social medias I found. [00:27:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:48] Speaker B: Probably two hours later, he shut both of them down. Then one of them he couldn't get no messages on, probably. [00:27:53] Speaker A: Cause everybody trying to hit him up. Oh, yeah, yeah. He. He definitely. Probably get a 15. Was it 15 seconds of fame. 15 minutes of fame. [00:28:00] Speaker B: It's about. It's almost up. [00:28:02] Speaker A: Nah, I think he's just starting. [00:28:04] Speaker B: You think so? [00:28:04] Speaker A: Yeah, I heard them talking about him on Brilliant Idiots. [00:28:08] Speaker B: Nah, it's almost over. [00:28:10] Speaker A: I think it might be just. And he did that wrestling thing. [00:28:14] Speaker B: Kick ass. [00:28:15] Speaker A: Yeah. Shout out to him, though. He did his thing, but. Yeah, so shout out to. If y' all want to email us, DJ Blaze show gmail dot com, you know, let us know what y' all did this week or whatever. Yeah, let's see where we want to start. I guess we'll start with something we missed last week. One person that we talked about on this show a good bit, he finally, finally got his Walk of Fame. We talked about it when he got nominated. [00:28:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:46] Speaker A: When they announced it, we talked about him twice. [00:28:51] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:51] Speaker A: Cause we talked about him during Busta Rhymes. During Busta Rhymes 1. [00:28:57] Speaker B: Yeah. It was like, somebody like, Keith Davis needs it. [00:29:00] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Cause we were like, who deserve it? But more. [00:29:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:04] Speaker A: Yeah. So shout out to Keith David. He finally got his Hollywood Walk of Fame and I hear him all the time. Cause he's on Rick and Morty podcast. Yeah. He plays the President of the United States. That ain't Keith David right there. But shout out to whoever that young lady is introducing him. Maybe that his daughter or something. I don't know. I don't wanna get disrespectful. [00:29:26] Speaker B: You better zip up if it's his daughter. [00:29:28] Speaker A: Yeah, I wouldn't wear that around my daddy if I had titties like that. [00:29:31] Speaker B: Hey, what's up with the video, man? [00:29:33] Speaker A: What you mean? [00:29:34] Speaker B: Harris fast forward or something? [00:29:36] Speaker A: I mean, I ain't want y' all to see the fast forward. Get a Keith. Keith. Keith be fly, too. [00:29:41] Speaker B: She. [00:29:41] Speaker A: She talking for a long dog on time. [00:29:43] Speaker B: I wonder how much they got to pay for it. [00:29:45] Speaker A: 35,000. That's what I heard. [00:29:49] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:29:50] Speaker A: There we go. They go, kid. [00:29:51] Speaker B: He deserve it. [00:29:52] Speaker A: Yeah, he been in a lot of stuff. He been doing it for a long time. [00:29:55] Speaker B: He almost all gray, too. He got gray in his mustache, so. [00:29:58] Speaker A: Not at the top, though. He good on the top, though. [00:30:01] Speaker B: Look at his mustache, though, that he needs just for me. [00:30:04] Speaker A: And he got it on the little. [00:30:05] Speaker B: On the little goatee. Thing. [00:30:07] Speaker A: A little catcher right there. [00:30:08] Speaker B: What they call that thing? They call it something up underneath your lip there. [00:30:12] Speaker A: Yeah, they call it something that ain't. Yeah, they call it something old. Old men in his era like that. They had that. I don't. What's the purpose? I don't know. What's the purpose of that? Old man got that. They love that, though. [00:30:24] Speaker B: What's the purpose of a mustache? [00:30:26] Speaker A: Mustache? Yeah, for black men. It make your lips not look as big. You gotta have some kind of facial hair if you're a black man. I don't trust a black man with no facial hair. [00:30:37] Speaker B: That don't work for Steve Harvey. [00:30:40] Speaker A: Steve Harvey Mustache. [00:30:41] Speaker B: His mustache is big as. I don't know why. You can still see how big his lips are. [00:30:45] Speaker A: Yeah, but think about if that ain't had no mustache. [00:30:48] Speaker B: That nigga look like Jay Z. [00:30:49] Speaker A: Stupid. Some black men can't have face. Your hair. [00:30:56] Speaker B: I'm sorry, but what's up with Jay Z in this Target thing? [00:31:00] Speaker A: It's a. I think it's kind of like a lie. [00:31:03] Speaker B: You think so? [00:31:03] Speaker A: It's a falsehood. Because people saying it's an. It's exclusive to Target. [00:31:08] Speaker B: Explain to people. [00:31:09] Speaker A: And they saying, okay, so, jay, it's the 30th anniversary, a reasonable Doubt. [00:31:17] Speaker B: Y. [00:31:17] Speaker A: And Target has a version at. At Target that's. Of the album. [00:31:26] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:26] Speaker A: And people are saying that you only can get it at Target, which isn't the truth. You can get the vinyl of Reasonable Doubt somewhere. You can get it, like, at other places. You get on Roc Nation or wherever. Target has an exclusive color of the album. So it's exclusive white. And they got a different color of the light cover or whatever. [00:31:48] Speaker B: Okay. [00:31:48] Speaker A: But that's not just a Jay Z thing. All the artists that have come out recently with vinyls, they have a Target exclusive color or whatever. [00:31:57] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:58] Speaker A: So people are saying that, like, you know, he filed for doing with them during the boycott or whatever. But he ain't the only one who did with him during the boycott. A lot of people ain't even boycott. [00:32:08] Speaker B: I was gonna say the boycott ain't even on. [00:32:10] Speaker A: It is on, though. [00:32:11] Speaker B: That ain't on. [00:32:12] Speaker A: It is on. You still go to Target? No. [00:32:15] Speaker B: I mean, I don't have a reason to go to Target. I used to go to Target for [00:32:19] Speaker A: Funko Pops, but you get them from somewhere else now. [00:32:24] Speaker B: No, I stopped making the lamps. I don't. [00:32:26] Speaker A: Oh, for the big ones? [00:32:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Certain big ones had the Target edition ones. Like, you can only find it at Target. [00:32:34] Speaker A: I got you. Yeah. I stopped going to Target. So, you know, my man at work, he called me. He called me Public enema. [00:32:44] Speaker B: You are. That's your new name? [00:32:46] Speaker A: That's your new name? [00:32:47] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:48] Speaker A: He said you, you, you pro black. I mean, what else I'm supposed to be? I don't hate white people, but you [00:32:52] Speaker B: know what, what do you say? You know what that mean? [00:32:56] Speaker A: I don't hate white people. [00:32:57] Speaker B: I hate. [00:32:57] Speaker A: I don't like, racist. [00:32:58] Speaker B: No, but you kind of messed it up when you said, I don't hate white people, but you know, I'm pro black. [00:33:04] Speaker A: How? [00:33:04] Speaker B: White people said, my best friend is black. [00:33:07] Speaker A: My best friend ain't white, but I got some white friends. I got, you know, I'm cool. I'm good with white people. We good. They good with me. I ain't gonna, like, discriminate against white people. [00:33:17] Speaker B: Would you marry a white lady? [00:33:18] Speaker A: No. [00:33:20] Speaker B: Would you date a white lady? [00:33:21] Speaker A: No. What? No, I don't. This is. I've been like that before because I don't feel like. [00:33:29] Speaker B: So you wouldn't date one? [00:33:31] Speaker A: No. [00:33:32] Speaker B: Crack one? [00:33:33] Speaker A: No one put my mind on one. Lip won't. No. It's enough. Black men that love white women, they don't need me. You know what I'm saying? But all right, so Angelina Jolie. I got a. A co worker that would love to have that. [00:33:49] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. I don't believe you. [00:33:53] Speaker A: What you mean? I'm 40 something years old. I've never had sex with a white woman. [00:33:59] Speaker B: Cause you ain't been around the right one. [00:34:00] Speaker A: I've been around plenty of white women. I've been around white women that tried to have sex with me. I have not had sex with a white woman before. [00:34:10] Speaker B: Dang, you sound like a president now. [00:34:16] Speaker A: But, nah, like, okay, you know, like, even like before, before, like, all of this stuff went viral, like, you know, Trayvon Martin probably was like, one of the first viral things that happen with us besides, like, what's my man? Can't we all just get along? King, Rodney King. But for the most part, Trayvon Martin was, like, really the first one, because that was the first one since, while we had social media, Twitter and Facebook, you know what I'm saying? That was one of the first ones. [00:34:49] Speaker B: I'mma do. I'mma do Diablo. [00:34:51] Speaker A: That really wasn't viral like that because it was no social media when that happened. So, like, even before then, we knew of police brutality and racism that would happen. So, like, if I go to somebody, if I go to a black person, I say police treated me a certain way a black person would tend to believe that I got mistreated by police or whatever, you know what I'm saying? If I go to a white person back before all of this stuff was seen on social media, they would have a tendency not to believe because they can't fathom the police treating you different based on your race. The likelihood of them saying, well, did you say something wrong? Or whatever, whatever. And I wouldn't want to have to deal with that, coming home to my potential mate. And they say, well, well, what did you do? Or maybe they were having a bad day or. You know what I'm saying? If I say that to my mama, my mama gonna be like, well, you know how they are. Something like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't. [00:35:59] Speaker B: I don't. I wouldn't put that as a race. I put that at individual, like, certain people. [00:36:05] Speaker A: What I said, the likelihood of that happening with a white woman as opposed to a black woman is higher. You know what I'm saying? But go ahead, continue, I guess. [00:36:13] Speaker B: No, I'm listening, but. [00:36:15] Speaker A: Cause even on our show before with Blaze and I want to say DJ Nova was here. Whatever. It was one episode, matter of fact, it was like a black history episode. We were going to start the show off. He wanted to start it off with Lift Every Voice and Sing. I'm like, yo, let's start off with Fight the Power. He like, what power we fighting? I'm like, bro, I'm telling you, it ain't all sweet out here. This is before the Trayvon Martin and all of that. You like, yo, what power we fight? I'm like, bro, I'm telling you, man, it's out here. That racism out here. He like, bro, I don't see it. [00:36:44] Speaker B: Who said he didn't see it? [00:36:45] Speaker A: Blaze? [00:36:46] Speaker B: No. [00:36:47] Speaker A: And I want to say Nova. Nova has said something, too. Shout out to him. [00:36:51] Speaker B: Like I said, no, please. [00:36:52] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So he was like that, man. So I always surprised he felt like that. Yeah. He was like, man, we over. You know what I'm saying? We ain't fighting the power. We. We moving forward. I'm like, bro, it's out here. [00:37:04] Speaker B: Hell no. We ain't never move. [00:37:06] Speaker A: But I'm saying this like I say, this is before Trayvon Martin. [00:37:09] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:37:10] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So [00:37:13] Speaker B: before social media, this was really [00:37:15] Speaker A: before social media was out, but it wasn't on everybody phones like it is now, and it wasn't three and four different types of social media, and everybody wasn't sending videos Left, right. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, I always. That's why I'm always like, I could never really marry a white woman or date. You know what I'm saying? And I ain't about to play with him like that. [00:37:38] Speaker B: You ain't gonna play with them, huh? [00:37:40] Speaker C: Nah. [00:37:40] Speaker A: Then I had an issue. It was a situation when I was younger with one of my uncles. He was. [00:37:46] Speaker B: You said he did something? [00:37:47] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was messing with one. They was, like, together, like, messing around together. [00:37:52] Speaker B: You know what they call them? [00:37:53] Speaker A: What? [00:37:54] Speaker B: You know what they call white women? [00:37:56] Speaker A: What? [00:37:56] Speaker B: Pink toes. [00:37:57] Speaker A: Oh, they call them a whole bunch of stuff. Paint toes, snow bunnies. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that was my homeboy, shout out. My homeboy, Tony Mills, that what he called him. But, yeah, but yeah, he got caught up and did time because after her father found out, he was like a judge or something, both of them was, like, doing drugs together. Whatever. After her father found out, they put them charges on him. My uncle had to do time or whatever. So, yeah. Hey, so that's why. That's kind of part of the reason why. So when I say never, I mean never shout out to them. So you look good in your Lululemon. But going over there with that. [00:38:35] Speaker B: So what they. You know, you happen to be at a gentleman's club, somebody offers you a free dance, you're not gonna take it. [00:38:45] Speaker A: A free dance from. [00:38:46] Speaker B: Yeah, like I'm gonna pay for your dance. Like, yo, y' all come over here [00:38:50] Speaker A: and it's my man's birthday and that one stand in front of me. [00:38:54] Speaker B: It's three of them. [00:38:55] Speaker A: It's three of them. [00:38:56] Speaker B: Three of them. [00:38:57] Speaker A: See that, that's the thing. For one, I don't really deal with gentlemen's clubs like that anyway. [00:39:01] Speaker B: I know, but this is on. You can't turn the. [00:39:04] Speaker A: No, listen, listen, listen. 2. If we in establishing. And it's three of them in that dancing. [00:39:09] Speaker B: 3. [00:39:10] Speaker A: We in the wrong establishment, my brother. [00:39:12] Speaker B: One on one, one on each leg, and one on the bottom of the [00:39:15] Speaker A: mean, it don't need. It don't need to be three of them in there. That's too. They mess the percentage up. What are y' all doing? I think y' all running on some kind of coin tail pro type situation. Three of y' all in there in the strip joint. What three of y' all need to be doing in there for? [00:39:30] Speaker B: Hey, that's crazy. The last time I was in one of those, it was probably 20 years ago. [00:39:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:39:36] Speaker B: And I left this jersey in there. [00:39:38] Speaker A: Really? And you had to go back and get it. [00:39:40] Speaker B: I went back the next day and they didn't give it to me. [00:39:42] Speaker A: Oh, shout out to them. [00:39:43] Speaker B: It was on 501, around a little turn there on the left. It was like a yellow sign. I forgot the name of that place. [00:39:52] Speaker A: 501. [00:39:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:39:53] Speaker A: In what city? [00:39:55] Speaker B: Going towards the beach. I'm sorry. [00:39:56] Speaker A: Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, it was [00:39:58] Speaker B: in there, this jersey, 20 years ago. [00:40:00] Speaker A: Wow. Shout out to that jersey. That was good quality materials. [00:40:05] Speaker B: Yeah, still holding up. [00:40:06] Speaker A: But yeah, I can't how we got on that Jay Z Fight the Power all type of shit. [00:40:12] Speaker B: Jay Z. [00:40:12] Speaker A: That's what Jay Z shout out to. Yeah. So a lot of people mad at Jay and they saying that, you know, it's more the stuff like what he did with the NFL, which they taking that out of context too. It was a couple people talking about it on a podcast. But the NFL thing for me, they did an initiative with like giving money to like different charities. And even though the Colin Kaepernick thing and like, even like a lot of people, like got rid of their DEI stuff, whatever, the NFL's still giving money to those charities. Like hundreds of millions of dollars have gone to those charities and they still giving to it, even though they not like making a big deal about it. So that's where I'm with that. Like, I feel like if they hadn't did that partnership, them charities wouldn't have got that money. You know what I'm saying? But I don't, I don't know. I wasn't gonna buy the vinyl. No way. [00:41:01] Speaker B: I was gonna ask you, are you gonna buy any of it? [00:41:03] Speaker A: No, I don't like, for one, I'm not buying no vinyl. For two, I get the music on title for pretty much for free. And I already got Reasonable Doubt, bought it twice, as a matter of fact, when it came out. So I'm not buying no commemorative 30 year anniversary of that. Anyway, if you ran into Jay Z, [00:41:24] Speaker B: yo, signing this for me. [00:41:25] Speaker A: Nah, I would have to be carrying the vinyl with me. [00:41:28] Speaker B: But if, you know, hey, you gonna be over here? You get the call from cl? [00:41:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, cl. Do we is plugged in like that? [00:41:35] Speaker B: Yo, pull up. [00:41:36] Speaker A: Nah, then I, you know what I'm saying? [00:41:38] Speaker B: You gonna be here for three minutes, [00:41:39] Speaker A: you gotta be here. I'll be like, yo, what up? That's it. Maybe, but I ain't want no signature. [00:41:44] Speaker B: I got you. [00:41:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm 40, man. I'm 40 plus. I got you. I don't wear jerseys. I'm 40 plus. Give me a crisp pair of jeans and some button ups. Like, ah, man. But, you know, it's. It's more Jay Z hate on the Internet, you know, people. I feel like now if you post something negative about Jay Z right now, your post gonna go viral. [00:42:06] Speaker B: I think all that negative Jay Z came out after those accusations. No, it was going on before it started. Like. [00:42:13] Speaker A: Nah, it was going on before. [00:42:14] Speaker B: Think so? [00:42:15] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it was going on before. Yeah. [00:42:17] Speaker B: What was it you heard before? [00:42:19] Speaker A: Just like, the NFL. [00:42:20] Speaker B: Oh, the baby situation. [00:42:22] Speaker A: The NFL thing. Yeah, like you said, him having a kid, not doing the DNA test. Just a whole bunch of, like, stuff, you know, Just a whole bunch of negative stuff about him. [00:42:35] Speaker B: Okay. [00:42:36] Speaker A: Yeah. Now Dame, you know, Dame go extra hard about him all the time [00:42:42] Speaker B: after [00:42:43] Speaker A: he did the freestyle. [00:42:44] Speaker B: I see all of them shits. [00:42:45] Speaker A: Dame was like, yeah, like he had bad breath. That was funny, man. [00:42:51] Speaker B: Nah, he was talking about Cam. [00:42:52] Speaker A: No, no, no. He said about Jay Z first. [00:42:54] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:42:55] Speaker A: Yeah, after the. Right after the thing he said, it was like. Yeah, he said he had bad breath or whatever. And then he came out with a song that he had the white girl come out with a song. The white girl to be with him. [00:43:04] Speaker B: That's for Cam. [00:43:05] Speaker A: You sure that's for Cam. [00:43:08] Speaker B: Cheap teeth. Cheap teeth. And they express smell like doo doo. You the doo doo crew. [00:43:13] Speaker A: All right, all right. [00:43:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I see that now. [00:43:16] Speaker A: You saw that when they. When in. [00:43:18] Speaker B: In a Sprinter. [00:43:19] Speaker A: In the Sprinter. Yeah. Okay, so that song was for Cam. [00:43:21] Speaker B: Yeah, that's for Cam. All right. [00:43:22] Speaker A: But before that, he did come out with saying Jay Z breath of stank, too. [00:43:26] Speaker B: Oh, so that's what he meant by stink breath crew. [00:43:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. So Cam. I mean, Dame going at Jay or whatever. Somebody else used to go at Jay all the time in those interviews. And he even addressed it on a song. [00:43:43] Speaker B: Who, Beanie Siegel? [00:43:44] Speaker A: Nope. Faison love. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Faison on love. I wouldn't believe it either. I'd be like, jay Z's a cheater. Yeah. [00:43:52] Speaker B: Faison was going in about. [00:43:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:43:53] Speaker B: And he would go, how much dope he was selling. [00:43:55] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. And he was like, jay ain't never sold no dope. Well, Faison gonna need to sell some dope, I guess. [00:44:01] Speaker B: Tell us about Faison. Cause he just got in the news. [00:44:04] Speaker A: Yeah, Faison just got a. Just got out of jail. What movie comes to mind when you think Faison love For [00:44:16] Speaker B: what type of person? [00:44:18] Speaker A: Any person. For you. Just for you, period. Us is big Worm on Friday. Yeah. [00:44:22] Speaker B: For white people. It's Elf. [00:44:24] Speaker A: I ain't gonna say just for white people, but I feel like his biggest movie probably is Elf. [00:44:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:44:31] Speaker A: Cause that's the bigger movie, period. [00:44:33] Speaker B: That's a bigger movie. Yeah. [00:44:34] Speaker A: Period. And, yeah, it says F. Star Faison Love was arrested on charges connected to. Matter of fact, I got an article here. Hopefully it'll start the way I need it to start. Yeah, I do have it. A YouTube clip of him and him being in court. But, yeah, he got arrested for child support. Come on. Internet. I might be on the Internet in my studio. [00:45:00] Speaker C: Get out of there. [00:45:01] Speaker A: Well, not my studio in 122. [00:45:05] Speaker B: You should be plugged in over there, too. [00:45:08] Speaker A: Yeah, I am, but it is not. I don't know why it's not working, but anyway, why that pulls up. Yeah, uh, he was arrested on child support charges connected to a case where he couldn't pay $250,000 due to financial struggles. Um, he was detained for an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody. Um, taken to the Orient Road Jail in Tampa, Florida, on June 18. So that was Thursday. [00:45:41] Speaker B: Yep. [00:45:41] Speaker A: Where he was being held without bond. He claimed he couldn't pay child support because he was broke. Allegedly earning only $13,000 in the past five years. [00:45:51] Speaker C: Dag. [00:45:51] Speaker B: I thought. I thought it was for something else. Cause he got a. You know, he got a little temper. [00:45:56] Speaker A: Yeah. Say he isn't a stranger to legal issues and has been arrested and sued. And this goes to your point. [00:46:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:02] Speaker A: Sued in the past for assault. [00:46:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Here you go. [00:46:05] Speaker A: It's finally planned. [00:46:06] Speaker B: Assault in the airport and some other ones. [00:46:09] Speaker A: Oh, he got assault in the airport. [00:46:10] Speaker B: Yeah. He beat this guy up. [00:46:11] Speaker A: Really? [00:46:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:14] Speaker C: Hold on. [00:46:15] Speaker A: Let me see. [00:46:15] Speaker D: In court. And a wheelchair for this hearing that we're talking about just over two weeks ago in California. After failing to turn himself in for contempt of court and failing to make child support payments, Love's attorneys argued he is struggling financially, saying he has no home, drives a 1999 vehicle and has no savings. Even relies on friends to help pay many of his expenses. But the attorney for the mother of his child argued Love has repeatedly ignored court orders, hasn't paid child support in years. Love himself testifying that he recently saw his daughter and does what he can. [00:46:51] Speaker A: You see your daughter, too, right? [00:46:53] Speaker B: Yes. [00:46:53] Speaker A: I had just saw her. [00:46:55] Speaker B: This lady had dropped her off and [00:46:57] Speaker A: gave her money because she just had a new daughter and she didn't have. [00:47:00] Speaker C: No, let's not. [00:47:01] Speaker B: Just keep it easy. Take it easy. Right? That nigga mad Mr. Love, you have [00:47:07] Speaker A: the current ability at this point in time to pay $2500 a month in child support right now. [00:47:13] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:47:14] Speaker A: No, the sentence is preventing him from working and rooting his name in Hollywood. So if he's in jail, he can't work. Specifically told me that I wasn't going to get a dime. This is it, that he was going to stop working and canceling shows. So I won't get anything. She let B. Worm hit raw. [00:47:34] Speaker C: Okay. [00:47:35] Speaker B: He better hit the. [00:47:36] Speaker D: Well, Love will be released later today as until July 1st to put together a financial statement to prove his claims that he cannot afford the payments. [00:47:45] Speaker A: The music shout out to Big Worm. [00:47:47] Speaker B: He better get back to stand up comedy man. [00:47:50] Speaker A: Cause that's what somebody. I forgot who it was, but they were like he talking about this and that or whatever. But when was the last time you did a stand up? It could have been maybe Aries Spears or somebody because they was kind of beefing a little bit better. [00:48:04] Speaker B: Say they go at it too. [00:48:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I want to say it was Aries Spears was like when the last time he did a standup. [00:48:09] Speaker B: Yeah, he needs to. He need to get back and working like elf. [00:48:17] Speaker A: How much you think Vlad was paying him? [00:48:19] Speaker B: Probably 5,000. An interview or something like that. [00:48:21] Speaker A: Okay. Because he did a lot of vlad interviews. [00:48:24] Speaker B: Yeah, 5,000. [00:48:26] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a shame. Maybe, maybe Jay has something to do with it. You know, he Illuminati and he control everything with these in some. I guess we're going to some. Some shit that went kind of viral. Okay, I'm gonna see if I can pull this picture up. Everybody was talking about. Well, not everybody, but I saw this picture of one of our beloved actors. He's been in a lot of stuff from Martin to Saturday Night Live to. He was Uncle Junior on the Jamie Foxx Show. Yeah, Uncle Junior, Mr. Garrett Morris. And him and Taraji took a picture together. [00:49:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:49:11] Speaker A: And it went viral and it got so much. You see it now? You see it now? Beloved. [00:49:22] Speaker B: So what's wrong with it? [00:49:23] Speaker A: Ain't nothing wrong with it. Everything is right about it for some woman. Garrett is almost 90 years old. He still got that. He's still packing that a schlong. [00:49:38] Speaker B: I'm gonna let you. I'm gonna let you commentate. [00:49:40] Speaker A: Commentate on that. Yeah, go ahead, say it got so much. [00:49:44] Speaker B: Give me another name for it. [00:49:45] Speaker A: He got that 90 year old kielbasa thing, right? Abo. Hey, how could you miss? [00:49:53] Speaker B: I saw somebody, it was a celebrity, and they said, taraji know she wrong. He zoomed in on it, man. [00:50:03] Speaker C: Come on. [00:50:04] Speaker B: Come on. Taraji. He said, taraji know she wrong for posting that picture. [00:50:08] Speaker A: Yeah. So it got so big to pause that that Taraji took it down. But Mr. Morris, the legend, he responded, [00:50:20] Speaker B: and he's a legend now. [00:50:21] Speaker A: He was a legend. He been a legend. Let's see what he had to say. [00:50:25] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. [00:50:28] Speaker A: He old school. [00:50:29] Speaker B: So he could be like, hello there, [00:50:30] Speaker C: I'm Garrett Morris, and it seems I have caused quite a stir because of a recent photo where it looks like I have a baby boar constrictor between my legs. Now, I don't mind holding up the stereotype usually given to black men, but ladies and gentlemen, I'm more than a body. I'm a brain, too. Okay? And since you are all up in my business right now, I want you to be all up in my book. That's right. I'm coming with a book. The name of the book is Ain't that A. Which is what I thought when I saw that picture of me and Derogy Hinton. I said, ain't that a. I looked at the photo and I said, look, I have been with Emmy winners, I have been with Oscar winners, I've been with Tony winners. And never did I think that I would be upstaged by my people. But look, I hope you're laughing, but don't laugh about this. I want you to do me a favor. I want you to vote. Okay? [00:51:34] Speaker A: Shut up. [00:51:34] Speaker B: I'm just kidding. Yeah, it's over. [00:51:36] Speaker A: Shout out to him, I'm gonna get the book. Just off the strength of him being, [00:51:40] Speaker B: you know, trying to see if he got more pictures. [00:51:43] Speaker A: Just out to him taking it. You know what I'm saying? Being, you know, Being. Having. Being funny about it or whatever. [00:51:49] Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't know that's what it was for. I saw that. I saw the picture. [00:51:53] Speaker A: You ain't paying attention to it. [00:51:54] Speaker B: Nah, nah. Cause I ain't looking down there like that. [00:51:57] Speaker A: I saw. I saw people comment, like, okay, Garrett, or whatever. I was like, what the. What are they talking about? So I like. Cause I saw the pictures, like, just scrolling. I was like, okay, they together, whatever. And it was like, okay, Garrett, or whatever. [00:52:08] Speaker B: You probably see the emoji in there somewhere. [00:52:11] Speaker A: What do you mean probably? [00:52:12] Speaker B: Somebody put the eggplant emoji in there somewhere. [00:52:14] Speaker A: That's trying to think. [00:52:15] Speaker B: That's how you got onto it. [00:52:16] Speaker A: I don't think so, but I was on. I think I saw it on threads. People were talking about a lot on threads. [00:52:22] Speaker B: Word. [00:52:22] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:52:23] Speaker A: Shout out to Garrett Morris. I'm gonna have to get that book just for the culture. 90 years old, almost 90, still out here, you know what I'm saying? Living his life, mind straight, able to joke Taraji. [00:52:40] Speaker B: No, she wrong for that. That's what they put. [00:52:41] Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. I think that's what I saw, too. Somebody said something like that. Let's see. I don't got no video for that. What else happened this week? Let's see. [00:52:53] Speaker B: There was a video I sent. I sent in. What was that video for? [00:53:03] Speaker A: Let's see. Oh, probably for Casa Knot. Was that it? Streaming University. I've been seeing stuff about that because I know he had, like, took a break from streaming. Yeah, he was, like, reading books and all kind of stuff. [00:53:15] Speaker B: Man, it was so many people out there, like, online to. For the auditions. [00:53:20] Speaker A: It's crazy. New York could say that. What, online? [00:53:25] Speaker B: No, they were online. [00:53:27] Speaker A: Oh, I thought you meant outside online. Yeah. So y' all say online. [00:53:31] Speaker B: What? [00:53:31] Speaker A: You say inline. [00:53:34] Speaker B: Okay. That's a difference. Okay. [00:53:36] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, but that's a new. I noticed a lot of, like, New Yorkers say online, not in line. [00:53:42] Speaker B: Yeah, let me get online. Yeah, let me get in line. [00:53:45] Speaker A: Yeah, you're in the line. [00:53:47] Speaker C: Okay. [00:53:47] Speaker A: Yeah, but it's nothing. There's just a difference, you know, saying about, like, people. How people say pop and soda. [00:53:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. [00:53:54] Speaker A: It's just a regional difference. [00:53:55] Speaker B: I just never realized it, that y' [00:53:57] Speaker A: all say in line. I mean, online. [00:53:59] Speaker B: I'm gonna get online. [00:54:00] Speaker A: Yeah, but I know he. [00:54:02] Speaker D: He. [00:54:05] Speaker A: He decided not to, you know, do his streaming for a while, but now he bringing the university back. I heard a rumor that. I don't know if you heard this, but, like, people that use, like, AI to make flyers for themselves or whatever, he, like, disqualified them people or something like that for being in the university. [00:54:23] Speaker B: Well, as many people he had in line, he had to eliminate a lot of people for whatever little reasons. [00:54:32] Speaker A: Oh, to then the. [00:54:33] Speaker B: Her basement. Yeah, it was from here probably all the way, you know, like, to the stop sign. [00:54:39] Speaker A: It looked like a Juneteenth celebration. [00:54:40] Speaker B: Oh, it definitely was a lot of character in line. [00:54:46] Speaker A: Was. [00:54:46] Speaker D: Was. [00:54:46] Speaker A: Let me see if I can pull it up for you. [00:54:49] Speaker B: I watched Queen's Flip, you know, from. [00:54:54] Speaker A: Yeah, from Joe Buddy. [00:54:55] Speaker B: Yeah, so. [00:54:56] Speaker A: Well, I mean, he's from his own. Yeah, he's his own character from his own thing. [00:54:59] Speaker B: I watched him. He was out there for, like, probably the episode. Probably, like an hour and some change where he's talking to people on the line and you know, cracking jokes and stuff like that. [00:55:08] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, he had it in New York. When did you first hear about him? [00:55:16] Speaker B: I used to watch Phantom and they played a prank on him where they was gonna so called rob him. [00:55:23] Speaker A: Oh, we're gonna rob Kai. [00:55:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:55:26] Speaker A: The first time I really heard about him, I wanna say it was around the time he did the. He gave away some PlayStation 5s. [00:55:33] Speaker B: Yeah, this was before that in New York. [00:55:35] Speaker A: Yeah, I figured you would that Jones Jersey hard. Ooh, a little person. [00:55:43] Speaker B: Yeah, he's a streaming guy. [00:55:45] Speaker A: That little person was. [00:55:46] Speaker B: Yeah, that little person. [00:55:47] Speaker A: Oh, so all those people. Probably somebody that's right there. [00:55:50] Speaker B: Not all of them, but you know, a good amount of them sprinkled in there. [00:55:54] Speaker A: Cause they see he got that camera. But yeah, around the time he gave him PlayStation's way and they had like shut down the city and they kind of gave him a citation for causing a riot or whatever. That's why I was like, dawn, this kid that big, I think I might have seen his name or whatever. [00:56:08] Speaker B: Phantom. It was him and Phantom that did that. [00:56:10] Speaker A: That did that. [00:56:10] Speaker B: Yep. [00:56:11] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Okay, okay. [00:56:12] Speaker B: Yeah. You know who else went in there for audition? I think she playing on like Love and Hip Hop or. I don't think it's Housewives. She might have been Love and Hip Hop, but they kicked this one lady off. Or maybe she was on like Bad Girls Club or something. But they kicked this one lady off of the bus for some reason. [00:57:02] Speaker B: Oh, for real? Yeah. [00:57:03] Speaker A: Cause she told on somebody. I lied on somebody else or whatever. I saw that this morning. I don't know who that lady is or whatever, but seemed like people in the comments knew who she was and they was like, yeah, she, they good. They did that or whatever. But I don't know, it's a whole bunch of this stuff of people doing dumb stuff. [00:57:19] Speaker B: Last week, I think it was last Week. If not last week, the week before. [00:57:23] Speaker A: Huh. [00:57:45] Speaker A: The baby mama was there? [00:57:47] Speaker B: No. [00:57:47] Speaker A: Oh, she really did that. [00:57:48] Speaker B: She really did die. Oh, Adrian hung up. He was like, yeah, man, at least he ain't gotta deal with that baby mama drama no more. He was dead serious. [00:58:01] Speaker A: That's something you say it was dead sin. Not on camera. [00:58:05] Speaker B: That's what they do. They do like the extreme. They drink a lot. They, you know, just. [00:58:10] Speaker A: They drank too much. That's why he be doing all that crazy stuff too. [00:58:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, definitely. [00:58:15] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. You said something about dying somebody else that passed away recently. Yeah, just. That's all he could do. Can't do nothing else. [01:01:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Or you could be like Beyonce daddy and get like, two more kids out the neighborhood with your kid and then just make them a group and be strong on them and then make that group super famous. And then there you go. [01:01:20] Speaker B: Who's destiny, though? [01:01:24] Speaker A: Destiny is destiny. [01:01:26] Speaker B: Destiny child. [01:01:27] Speaker A: Yeah, the child of destiny.
