[00:01:02] Speaker A: I'm an all right man.
[00:01:03] Speaker B: What you been up to?
[00:01:04] Speaker A: Hey, man, Same old soup just reheated. Damn, I say that a lot, you know what I'm saying? What's the other sayings, Saint?
[00:01:10] Speaker B: Same old pot, same old.
[00:01:13] Speaker A: I don't know.
Anyway.
[00:01:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:01:15] Speaker A: How was the trip?
[00:01:17] Speaker B: It was cool.
[00:01:17] Speaker A: Not well, you know, it was a work trip, kind of.
[00:01:19] Speaker B: Yeah, it got some work. Work knocked out. Yo, you know what?
So all of a sudden, I'm starting to see crystals.
[00:01:28] Speaker A: You mean like the ones that women be having?
[00:01:30] Speaker B: No, crystals and burgers.
[00:01:32] Speaker A: Burger place.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: Yeah. So I stopped there this morning.
[00:01:35] Speaker A: Ran you, huh? Did it run you?
[00:01:37] Speaker B: Nah, I didn't even get it.
[00:01:39] Speaker A: Why?
[00:01:39] Speaker B: Because I ain't had no money on me. Had a damn tap to pay. They didn't have tap.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: What?
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: What about car?
[00:01:46] Speaker B: I didn't have my card on me.
[00:01:48] Speaker A: You.
Come on, man. Things ain't that advanced. You can't even tap to pay in a Walmart.
[00:01:53] Speaker B: I know, but come on. Crystal's Burgers.
[00:01:55] Speaker A: Nah, man. You. You. That's. I blame you. You weren't prepared. You at least got your card, man.
[00:02:00] Speaker B: Hey, I was hoping the lady went back there and started making it before she figured it out and be like,
[00:02:04] Speaker A: yeah, go ahead and take it, baby. Go ahead.
[00:02:06] Speaker B: It's only eight burgers.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: What?
[00:02:09] Speaker B: It was in the morning time, too. It was like.
[00:02:11] Speaker A: They got breakfast burgers.
[00:02:11] Speaker B: Nah, nah. It was regular hamburgers, too.
[00:02:15] Speaker A: Yeah. So that was on your way there, on your way back, on the way back this morning, you was gonna have eight burgers in the morning.
[00:02:22] Speaker B: I'm hungry. I was hungry. I'm still hungry now.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: So you didn't eat?
[00:02:26] Speaker B: Nah, I didn't eat at all.
I ain't eat.
[00:02:30] Speaker A: So how was the wedding? It was cool or that's it?
[00:02:33] Speaker B: Cool? Yeah, just regular.
[00:02:35] Speaker A: Regular, Degla.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: Regular.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: Put your work in.
[00:02:37] Speaker B: Yeah, word.
[00:02:38] Speaker A: That's what's up. That's what's up.
What you watch this week? Well, you wanna get into that or.
[00:02:43] Speaker B: Yeah, we can. I didn't watch too much. I did a lot of overtime working this week. I even worked Friday night. That's why I was so tired.
[00:02:50] Speaker A: Baseball games?
[00:02:51] Speaker B: No, it was some band.
Oh, Banshee audition thing. They had bands from all over coming.
[00:02:59] Speaker A: They did that walking march. That's the kind of band stuff.
[00:03:01] Speaker B: No, it was. I. I guess it was not rehearsal, but you know when they try it out, Tryouts. Oh, so they had kids from all over.
[00:03:13] Speaker A: Oh, they trying out for some type of different band, Some big thing. Not school band.
[00:03:17] Speaker B: It's for school, though.
[00:03:19] Speaker A: It's for the school you at.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:20] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Okay.
[00:03:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:22] Speaker A: Word. You said school. Kids from all over. That's why I say that.
[00:03:25] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, like Dillon, Bennettsville and all different schools. Word.
[00:03:30] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what's up.
[00:03:31] Speaker B: And that was Friday, so that was Friday night. I worked there all day, probably about 16 hours.
[00:03:36] Speaker A: Dinner. Then you had to go get up
[00:03:38] Speaker B: early in the morning, take that ride another four hours.
Four and a half hours.
[00:03:47] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:03:47] Speaker B: So I was tired. I'm tired now. Tired now, Bo.
[00:03:50] Speaker A: Yeah, well, you need to muster all the energy you can for these listeners and watch us.
[00:03:57] Speaker B: If I look a little slumped in the seat, that's. Cause I'm tired. Boast.
[00:04:01] Speaker A: Yeah.
So what you watch this week? Anything Paradise.
[00:04:06] Speaker B: I'm getting, like, almost towards the end of first season.
[00:04:09] Speaker A: Oh, you on the first. Okay.
[00:04:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:11] Speaker A: Cause what happened the first time? Did you say you. It just didn't pull you in or something?
[00:04:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Hey, watch it now.
[00:04:16] Speaker A: Well, I mean, come on, man.
[00:04:18] Speaker B: You know, everything is a pause thing, so.
Yeah, the first time I watched it, it just didn't. I didn't really get into it.
[00:04:27] Speaker A: Yeah, so see, that could have been a pause and we be pausing, wasting time on the show.
[00:04:33] Speaker B: Shout out to Vic.
[00:04:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah.
[00:04:37] Speaker B: Like the first two episodes, it was. It was good, but I think maybe I was watching too much other stuff too.
[00:04:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:44] Speaker B: So now I'm all the way in. Past. I'm probably past halfway mark of the season.
[00:04:51] Speaker A: Has it come to the part, the way they reveal what's going on?
[00:04:55] Speaker B: Yeah, that's. That. We way past that, I think.
[00:04:57] Speaker A: Oh, okay. All right.
[00:04:58] Speaker B: Yeah, they do that probably. Third episode.
[00:05:01] Speaker A: Word.
[00:05:01] Speaker B: Third or fourth episode.
[00:05:03] Speaker A: Well, that's good. I like to hear more of your progression on that show. What else you watching?
[00:05:08] Speaker B: It was good, though.
What else? I'm on Daredevil is finally kicking up.
[00:05:15] Speaker A: You think it's finally kicking up?
[00:05:17] Speaker B: Yeah, man. Cause there's too much.
They got Too much. I don't know if they got too much going on or they keep on reverting back to something that happened in the first season. But the first season was so long ago.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: You ain't got. It ain't like you spoiling it. It's with Froggy. Foggy.
They keep going back to Foggy. Is that what you're talking about?
[00:05:38] Speaker B: Could be.
There's a couple things that they keep on going back to.
[00:05:42] Speaker A: They go back to Foggy.
Oh, and the thing with the lady.
[00:05:46] Speaker B: What thing with the lady?
[00:05:47] Speaker A: With the guy that had the mask on and the eyes.
[00:05:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:05:50] Speaker A: The painted guy, the paint guy.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: That guy. And what's that?
The.
[00:05:56] Speaker A: The guy that throw the knives.
[00:05:57] Speaker B: The white dragon. What's. What's the Puerto Rican guy?
[00:06:00] Speaker A: Yeah. White. White claw or something.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: White Tiger.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: White tiger, yeah.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: White tiger. So, yeah, showing that mask of that other guy with that white. And then having the Puerto Rican girl on there.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: I think eventually, because I didn't read the comments, but I think she gonna eventually be him being. Be the new White Tiger.
[00:06:18] Speaker B: That's what I thought too.
[00:06:19] Speaker A: Cause he gets his powers from that necklace. And she got the necklace.
[00:06:23] Speaker B: Yeah, they gave it to her, right?
[00:06:24] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, so. And they keep showing her wearing it. So I think eventually she gonna realize she got some powers in there and start doing some stuff.
[00:06:31] Speaker B: So I looked at, like, the character list and they got like Elektra on this. On this season.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: Mm.
[00:06:39] Speaker B: So she's coming in somehow.
[00:06:41] Speaker A: Did you watch the episode from this week?
[00:06:44] Speaker B: Nah, I think I'm an episode behind.
[00:06:46] Speaker A: Okay. It's gonna be somebody that's on that. They gonna be like, oh, okay.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:06:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:06:52] Speaker A: Did you watch the other. Did you watch. I think they call that group of people the Defenders.
[00:06:57] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:06:58] Speaker A: Did you watch those on Netflix?
[00:06:59] Speaker B: Luke Cage and the Girl and the Guy? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I watched that.
[00:07:03] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, you'll.
All right.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: Anyway, long as they don't bring Luke Cage's ass back.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: You don't like Luke?
Merry Christmas. That last. What did he say? Jimmy the Christmas or what was Jimmy the Cricket.
[00:07:14] Speaker B: Jimmy. Yeah. That last season was trash. I didn't honor anything.
[00:07:17] Speaker A: It was more than one season of his show.
[00:07:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't even finish watching it.
[00:07:20] Speaker A: I like this show, though. When they killed off the Jamaican dude, they should have kept him around some. I think that was the part that kind of messed that up. Him not. You know what I'm saying?
[00:07:30] Speaker B: Second season was real.
They turned it too comicky. I mean, it was too much jokes.
[00:07:36] Speaker A: Oh, Oh, I gotcha. Not comic, because he was. He started smashing the lady right then. He started smashing the black lady.
[00:07:44] Speaker B: I don't know. That damn. Ten years ago. Five years.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: That was a long time ago. That was before COVID I want to say it was. I think that show came out before COVID bro.
[00:07:52] Speaker B: So, Dan, that was six years.
[00:07:53] Speaker A: That was over at least six years ago.
[00:07:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't remember. I don't remember the TV show we watched.
What, last season?
[00:08:02] Speaker A: What do you mean?
[00:08:03] Speaker B: Daredevil. I don't remember the first season. And that was probably two years, a year ago.
[00:08:08] Speaker A: I got you. I got you.
[00:08:09] Speaker B: Daredevil.
[00:08:10] Speaker A: What else you watched?
[00:08:11] Speaker B: That might be it. That might be it, man.
[00:08:13] Speaker A: You watched Abbott Elementary.
[00:08:15] Speaker B: No, I didn't.
[00:08:16] Speaker A: Cause you told me.
You told me about. You was like, well, maybe that was Yoshi. But you was like, did you. You don't watch Abbott. So it had to be Yoshi then. Cause he had. Yeah, it was him. Cause he asked me. I didn't realize I was two episodes behind, and I got caught up in that.
[00:08:33] Speaker B: What was good about it?
[00:08:35] Speaker A: Every episode is good. Shout out to Amy. Amy had said it, too. On her. She made a post. She was like, every episode of Abbott is good in its own way. And they always have. You know what I'm saying? It's always good writing, always funny. You know what I'm saying? It's just a good sitcom.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:53] Speaker B: I can see her watching that.
[00:08:54] Speaker A: Yeah, that show was good, that show. If you don't watch Abbott elementary, you need to. Cause that. That might be one of the best TV shows on TV right now.
[00:09:02] Speaker B: Right now.
[00:09:03] Speaker A: It is. It is. Yeah. It might go down as one of the best network TV shows, period.
[00:09:10] Speaker B: One of the best.
[00:09:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:12] Speaker B: Not the best.
[00:09:13] Speaker A: You know, that's subjective. Some people might say the Cosby Show. Some people might say Friends. Some people might say.
[00:09:17] Speaker B: I put it. I put it with a Friends.
Blackish. I put it.
[00:09:23] Speaker A: It's up there.
[00:09:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I put it up there with that.
[00:09:25] Speaker A: It's up there. All them shows, you know, Cheers, Everybody Hates Chris, all of that.
[00:09:32] Speaker B: I don't think a lot of people like that one. I liked it, though.
[00:09:34] Speaker A: I think it did, because they got over 100 episodes. They went into syndication, so. For real, you know, another show that really been on for long time. I think they just got canceled.
Central Entertaining show, the Neighborhood.
[00:09:45] Speaker B: For real?
[00:09:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:46] Speaker B: I didn't know it was still on.
[00:09:47] Speaker A: Yeah, it just got canceled. I think they did it last season. Are they on their last season now? I don't Think it was on the Breakfast Club.
[00:09:52] Speaker B: I don't think we watched that.
[00:09:54] Speaker A: Somebody watched it.
[00:09:55] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't think we watch it, though.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: I didn't watch it. I think they. When they. I think it used to come on like Saturdays or something. Oh, okay. Yeah, but I didn't. I didn't watch it. And those types of shows like that.
Everybody Love Raymond. Yeah, shows like that. What's that show with the guy Kevin James and Leah Remini? Was he like a UPS driver?
[00:10:17] Speaker B: Oh, King of Queens. King of Queens.
[00:10:20] Speaker A: I couldn't really get into those types of shows.
[00:10:22] Speaker B: This is that. That's what that is, right? What, the neighborhood?
[00:10:26] Speaker A: Yeah, this is. That is that type of show to me.
[00:10:28] Speaker B: You know what it reminds me of a black Tim the Tool man joint.
[00:10:33] Speaker A: Yeah. It's along them same lines.
[00:10:35] Speaker B: Like the same writers or some shit.
[00:10:37] Speaker A: Um. Cause like I look at, like you said, Abbott Elementary, Black Ish.
Everybody Hates Chris, the Office Community.
Them some kind of. For some reason those shows kind of seem like they the same type of show as far as, like, level of comedy. Like, it ain't too cheesy. You know what I'm saying? Like, you gotta be in, like, if you watch Everybody Hates Chris, some of the jokes they make on that, you kinda gotta be in that type of culture era. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? To get them jokes, you know what I'm saying?
So, yeah, I think that's why I
[00:11:14] Speaker B: like that show so much.
[00:11:18] Speaker A: Invincible.
[00:11:19] Speaker B: That's what I gotta get into. I saw my cousin the other day and he told me to watch it.
[00:11:23] Speaker A: Yeah, it's very gory. It's real, real comic booky, but it's a good little cartoon. Well, I ain't gonna say little cartoon, but it's a good cartoon superhero type, but it's more nasty than the Marvel type stuff or whatever.
[00:11:37] Speaker B: He said they killed somebody. Like the first episode.
[00:11:39] Speaker A: Yeah, they killed somebody. Somebody gonna die and they gonna die in a crazy way.
[00:11:43] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:11:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Your friends and neighbors.
[00:11:46] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, I'm on that too.
[00:11:47] Speaker A: That's a good show. It's good acting, good cinematography. Like it just shows that. Come on Apple. They just look real crisp.
[00:11:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, it's good.
[00:11:56] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:11:57] Speaker B: They spend that money on.
[00:11:58] Speaker A: They spend that bread on Apple.
[00:11:59] Speaker B: It look really. It looked more cleaner and crisp than Netflix. Like it. It got a different look.
[00:12:05] Speaker A: Yeah. All these shows got a different look. Yeah. Especially shows that's supposed to be, like, modern.
They got. They got a different look to it. You know what I'm saying.
[00:12:13] Speaker B: And they go high end. They go high end with like, you know, cars and, and. And depending on shows and stuff like that.
[00:12:22] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Like, what was the name of that show? Pluribus. That was a good show that I watched late on there. But yeah, yeah, those.
Um.
I'm trying to think.
Oh, the Boys.
The Boys is another you. You watched that?
[00:12:38] Speaker B: I started with the first season again.
[00:12:42] Speaker A: Okay. I didn't surprise you?
[00:12:43] Speaker B: I'm up to five seasons.
[00:12:44] Speaker A: Yeah, it's five seasons now. And then they got a spinoff show which just got canceled called jnv. That show is good too.
[00:12:49] Speaker B: I think I'm gonna have to skip and go to the second season. Cause I seen the first season already.
[00:12:55] Speaker A: You probably can. If you saw the first season, you can go to the second. Cause you know they gonna have a recap.
[00:12:59] Speaker B: Damn, five seasons. I ain't know it was that many.
[00:13:01] Speaker A: Yeah, and you gonna. In between.
In between 3 and 4, watch gen. Watch a season of Gen V, then between five and no, and between four and five, watch the other season of Gen V and then watch five.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: Why? They go together?
[00:13:16] Speaker A: Yeah, them two shows go together. It's stuff that happened in one that kind of help out the other.
[00:13:21] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:13:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:22] Speaker B: Damn, that's a lot of watching.
[00:13:24] Speaker A: Nah, but that show good though. It's worth it, like, especially if it's, you know, sometimes it's like. Well, it ain't like that now. It used to be like an off season of new shows where you, you know, they just showing reruns all over the place now. It's always something on.
[00:13:36] Speaker B: All new shit.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: Yeah, it's always something on. So. Yeah, so I was watching that.
That's one of my shows I watch every week. Like you said, Daredevil.
And I started watching that Michael Jackson movie, Michael.
[00:13:49] Speaker B: I ain't gonna say nothing.
[00:13:51] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[00:13:51] Speaker B: I'm gonna wait until I see.
Look like it's gonna be trash.
[00:13:55] Speaker A: Nah, it ain't trash so far.
It's kind of. It move along kind of fast. You know what I'm saying? Cause it don't be like the Jacksons where. Cause you know, that was like a miniseries.
It came on like every day or something like that one week. But so with this, it started with them in the Jackson 5. And then it go to him getting older, then it go to him being on his own or whatever. So that's where I'm at, where he
[00:14:21] Speaker B: kind of like, oh, so it's about them older Michael Jackson. It ain't about pretty much all Michael, Yes.
[00:14:27] Speaker A: All Michael, pretty much.
[00:14:29] Speaker B: Not. Not all, Mike. It didn't show, like, shit going on while he was a kid.
[00:14:33] Speaker A: A little bit. Yeah. Cause, you know, the Jackson vi, he was a little kid.
[00:14:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:37] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? I think, you know, it sound like
[00:14:39] Speaker B: they skipped along pretty quick, though.
[00:14:41] Speaker A: They kind of do. They kind of do. Because, I mean, his life was.
And this is the thing, like, with.
From here on, from, like, Michael Jackson, them, until, you know, moving forward. A lot of that stuff is all on. It's all recorded, you know what I'm saying? Like, most of his life is on VHS or, you know, on camera or whatever. So we really saw all of that.
[00:15:06] Speaker B: Yeah, you're right.
[00:15:06] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Kind of like with the New Edition stuff, a lot of that stuff, you saw it, you know what I'm saying?
[00:15:12] Speaker B: You right.
[00:15:13] Speaker A: But, yeah, but yeah, that was. I'm watching that. Of course, if I'm watching it and I'm halfway through, y' all know I'm on the bootleg, so I'm watching the bootleg, you know what I'm saying? So that's it, man. That's all I watched for the week.
But I'm gonna finish that. I'll let y' all know how that goes. I know somebody. They went to the, you know, the cheap movie place we got here.
[00:15:33] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: So they was on the way. They was like, yeah, I'm gonna go here. I was like, yeah, that junk gonna be packed. They was like, here in this city? Ain't nobody going to see that. I'm like, you crazy?
[00:15:41] Speaker B: That junk.
[00:15:43] Speaker A: They was going to one show and the line was, you know, halfway down through the parking lot, and the person was. They was like.
Somebody came out. It was like, yeah, it's sold out. The 6:45 show. Sold out. We only got 8:00 clock tickets. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, so.
[00:15:59] Speaker B: And that was the night of. That was Friday.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: No, this was yesterday.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:16:04] Speaker A: Yeah, this was yesterday.
[00:16:05] Speaker B: So. Damn. It's still selling out on Saturday, but here.
[00:16:08] Speaker A: It started on Thursday night here.
[00:16:10] Speaker B: Oh, word.
[00:16:12] Speaker A: One of my co workers went Thursday.
[00:16:15] Speaker B: The last ones. One of the ten o' clock movies or something like that.
[00:16:17] Speaker A: I don't know what time he went. I just know he went Thursday.
[00:16:19] Speaker B: Oh, word?
[00:16:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:16:20] Speaker B: Did he like it?
[00:16:22] Speaker A: He said it was cool.
Yeah, he said it was cool. I'm still gonna finish. I'm gonna finish watching it tonight.
[00:16:27] Speaker B: Matter of fact, I wonder if I'm gonna get annoyed with some of the characters, like the way they look.
Cause that's what throws me off.
[00:16:37] Speaker A: Like how?
[00:16:39] Speaker B: Like Flex playing Michael Jackson.
[00:16:40] Speaker A: No, it ain't. No, no, no, this ain't. This ain't on that level. We was talking about that too yesterday. I was playing Cars. Yep, we were talking about that.
[00:16:47] Speaker B: Yeah, like that.
[00:16:48] Speaker A: Nah, this on a whole nother level. This better.
[00:16:50] Speaker B: I know what's called kind of look bad. Who?
Joe Jackson.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: Hell, no. Yeah. No, no, he looked. He looked.
[00:16:59] Speaker B: He looked made up. Like, I don't know, something about it. I've seen pictures of it.
[00:17:03] Speaker A: I think it's because you've seen Colman Domingo and so much stuff. But eventually, this one thing about it. You know how, like, eventually in Malcolm X, you kind of stopped seeing Denzel?
[00:17:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:17:15] Speaker A: You started seeing Malcolm. Yeah, eventually in this, you start seeing Joe Jackson and stop seeing Colman Domingo. And that's a part of it too. Like I was saying, like his whole life is on TV now. They whole life is recorded. His daddy was too. So you know what his daddy looked like in person in real life or whatever. But eventually you just see Joe Jackson and eventually you don't see Nia Long. You see Katherine.
[00:17:41] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:17:42] Speaker A: Yeah, so that's one thing about it.
[00:17:44] Speaker B: So since you said the Malcolm X one once, he started messing with the white girls, that's when it looked like Malcolm X to me. It wasn't Denzel no more.
[00:17:53] Speaker A: He started messing with some white girl.
[00:17:55] Speaker B: Yeah. Once he got his hair permed.
[00:17:56] Speaker A: Oh, and that's. Oh, that. That's early on in the movie.
[00:17:59] Speaker B: Yeah, that's when it changed. It was Malcolm X, then it was Red.
[00:18:03] Speaker A: Detroit Red.
[00:18:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:18:05] Speaker A: We got an email.
Email from our boy Yoshi at Relationship Status.
He says, got y'. All.
[00:18:13] Speaker B: Yeah, he got us.
[00:18:14] Speaker A: What's up, fellas? Hope the week has been good.
Mine was cool. Was able to get to a draft party for one of my former players. And to see a kid realize his lifelong dream is amazing. I asked him how it felt. He responded with tears in his eyes. I am broke no more, coach.
I won't ever be again.
Yeah, he got drafted.
He went to Clemson. He got drafted to. Dang. What team? Oh, Tampa Bay. Yeah, my man went to Tampa Bay.
[00:18:40] Speaker B: Was it a big guy?
[00:18:41] Speaker A: Yeah, he was kind of big.
[00:18:42] Speaker B: He was standing up, walking around.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: I think so.
[00:18:44] Speaker B: On the phone.
[00:18:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:46] Speaker B: Oh, I seen that on social media somewhere.
[00:18:48] Speaker A: Oh, you saw that, huh?
[00:18:49] Speaker B: That's Yoshi's peoples.
[00:18:51] Speaker A: His. One of his ex players.
[00:18:53] Speaker B: Oh, he played basketball?
[00:18:54] Speaker A: Yeah, he played basketball, yeah.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: Did Yoshi hug him and Say, yo, you right. We not broke no more.
[00:19:00] Speaker A: I would've.
Yeah, gas money, throw me shop.
He said it was definitely the highlight of my week, but it's a. It's about time. No, but it about time I got one by you. Oh, yeah. He said the movie last week.
[00:19:20] Speaker B: Wait, he gonna tell us what it is?
I thought he was gonna give us another hint.
[00:19:24] Speaker A: We would never get it. Cause I don't think you. So you know me and Yoshi work together.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:19:30] Speaker A: And we had a discussion, and I told him. I was like, I think it's a movie I never saw. He's like, you had to have seen it.
I was like, nah, I didn't see this movie. But then he know how I am with old movies that came out before I was born.
[00:19:43] Speaker B: He don't see shit.
[00:19:44] Speaker A: Not the movies that came out before I was born. Not a lot. Not a lot. So you want. You want me to tell you what movie it was?
[00:19:52] Speaker B: Yeah, go ahead and drop it.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: Cause I don't know if you watched this. I think you have said this is one of your favorites. He said the movie was. Let's do it again.
[00:20:00] Speaker B: Oh, with freaking Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby.
I wouldn't have got that. And I watched that movie all the time.
[00:20:06] Speaker A: Okay, okay.
[00:20:07] Speaker B: I wouldn't have got it, though.
[00:20:08] Speaker A: He said, ly how you didn't get that?
[00:20:10] Speaker B: Yeah, I wouldn't have got that.
[00:20:12] Speaker A: I knew B didn't see it, but you shaking my head since that one was difficult. Here's a layup.
I just found out that a distant relative of mine passed away, and somehow I'm in his will.
Sounds like a blessing, right?
[00:20:25] Speaker B: I got it.
[00:20:26] Speaker A: That's exactly what I thought until the lawyer laid out the rules.
[00:20:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I got it already.
Bruce's million.
[00:20:32] Speaker A: They told me I could inherit a massive fortune, but only if I prove I can handle money. The catch? I have to spend a ridiculous amount of cash in a very short time, like millions, without owning anything at the end of it. No assets, no investments, nothing to show for it. And I can't tell anyone what I'm doing or why.
So now I'm out here blowing money in the wildest ways possible, hiring people for pointless jobs, funding bizarre, bizarre projects, even running for public office just to spend more cash. And the crazy part? The more I spend, the harder it gets to get rid of it all. Everybody thinks I've lost my mind, but really, I'm just trying to win the biggest gamble of my life. Can't wait to hear the answers for this one dope show, as usual. Keep grinding.
Shout out to boy Yoshi.
[00:21:19] Speaker B: Too easy, Yoshi.
[00:21:20] Speaker A: Bruce's Millions.
[00:21:21] Speaker B: Bruce's Million.
[00:21:22] Speaker A: I'm gonna go with the boy. Cause that's another one I ain't seen.
[00:21:24] Speaker B: That's too easy. Yeah, so that's the thing. It's either we get it before you even finish, or we zone out before we finish. Cause we don't know what it is.
[00:21:36] Speaker A: I mean, I didn't zone out. I was still trying to figure out what it was the last week. But this one I wouldn't have known. Cause I've never seen that movie, the Hackensack Bulls. I mean, it ain't got to be a black movie, Yoshi. It can be something we watch.
It could be Wedding Crashers or
[00:21:54] Speaker B: Good
[00:21:54] Speaker A: Luck Truck or some shit. You know what I'm saying?
[00:21:57] Speaker B: Like super bad.
[00:21:59] Speaker A: Super.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:22:00] Speaker B: That's a classic right there.
[00:22:01] Speaker A: Super Troopers. Yeah, he's been tour a pet detective or something. It ain't got to be all these movies. All these highly melanated movies. We cultured over here.
[00:22:11] Speaker B: You could say. Let's do it again.
[00:22:13] Speaker A: Yeah. This said Bruce's Million. Yeah, this.
[00:22:17] Speaker B: That was an easy one, Yosh.
[00:22:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:22:20] Speaker B: You gotta come better, man.
[00:22:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Pause.
It's one story I wanted to talk about. I don't know if you've. Well, I. Well, we did a pre show. You know what we call that? Show prep or whatever. I know you haven't heard about this. I want to get your thoughts on it.
A Columbus, Ohio mother.
Her international vacation turned into a customs nightmare. Ty Keown claimed she was arrested for bringing more than 5 grams of marijuana into the country. And now she's facing a massive $75,000 bail or potentially no bill, or potentially four plus years in a bally jail.
So she made a post on Facebook, she said, hey, y', all, I love y'. All. Nobody is scamming. I made a mistake not researching and took the wrong thing in my suitcase to Bailey. I was arrested and I can't come home until I pay $75,000. And I only have till money to pay $30,000 of it or I'll be stuck over here four plus years. If I get the money, I can do rehab for three months and come home. Please, please, please. I'm begging y' all to get me home to my babies.
[00:23:31] Speaker B: Come on, man.
[00:23:32] Speaker A: Yeah, so she was over there.
Now, according to her mother, her and the group, they went over there to celebrate her 50th birthday and her friend's 40th they were detained at customs upon arrival, and the mother and another traveler were released, but she remains in custody.
[00:23:53] Speaker B: How'd she get on Facebook?
[00:23:56] Speaker A: Oh, they let.
So I did read where they let them use their phone once to make a call a day. She can use her phone once a day to make a call.
[00:24:05] Speaker B: Nah, come on, man. It's a scam. Her family's in on it too.
[00:24:09] Speaker A: Nah, it ain't a scam. She's really locked up. They did that part. I did see that. It was like a lot of people was talking about it, but.
And a lot of these sites have talked about her or whatever her situation.
I feel no sympathy for her.
[00:24:25] Speaker B: Me neither.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: Especially after the Brittney Griner situation over in Russia or wherever she was. And she got in all of that and she only had a vape pen with a little bit of. I wanna say it was a little bit of weed wax residue in it or something. It wasn't even we.
And she got all of that, you know what I'm saying? Hassle and stuff.
[00:24:44] Speaker B: And she. She that much more famous and.
[00:24:49] Speaker A: Yeah, and she famous. So that. That went. Did go viral. And then on top of that, this lady 50 years old, like, she going over there celebrating her 50th. Why you need to take weed to another country so damn bad?
[00:25:01] Speaker B: We partying bitches.
[00:25:03] Speaker A: Like, I don't. I don't get that shit. We party and I don't get it. I don't get it at all.
[00:25:08] Speaker B: Oh, you know why? Cause weed. You ain't allowed to have weed over there.
[00:25:13] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:25:13] Speaker B: So why would you bring it? That mean you knew or you just
[00:25:17] Speaker A: want to take your own weed?
Like you didn't do no research?
[00:25:21] Speaker B: She do. I don't think she did.
[00:25:22] Speaker A: No. You could have done research to where if you get caught with five grams of weed, you gonna go to jail for four years.
[00:25:30] Speaker B: Like you said, I don't feel sorry.
[00:25:33] Speaker A: I don't feel sorry at all.
[00:25:34] Speaker B: She'll be back.
[00:25:35] Speaker A: She.
[00:25:35] Speaker B: She got money.
[00:25:36] Speaker A: She ain't got no damn money.
She ain't got no damn.
[00:25:42] Speaker B: Definitely gonna put it together, man.
[00:25:44] Speaker A: 75, 000. She gotta have $30,000. But as we listening, she got more
[00:25:48] Speaker B: money than me because I ain't never been to Bali.
[00:25:51] Speaker A: You probably been in some places that cost about the same as Bali.
[00:25:54] Speaker B: Hell no.
[00:25:55] Speaker A: Bali, you don't think so?
[00:25:57] Speaker B: No, I ain't been nowhere.
[00:26:01] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:26:02] Speaker B: Been right here in this small world.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: You just went somewhere, man.
[00:26:06] Speaker B: That's hops giving a joke.
[00:26:11] Speaker A: But yeah. So that happened it was a shooting last night. Damn. I didn't have this pulled up.
Yeah, it was a shooting last night. Did you hear about that?
[00:26:23] Speaker B: Which one?
[00:26:24] Speaker A: With our president.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm gonna pull this up for y'. All. Yeah, they had the White House Correspondents Dinner, and our great president.
[00:26:38] Speaker B: That nigga didn't even know what was going on.
[00:26:40] Speaker A: Nah, he didn't, bro. He did.
[00:26:41] Speaker B: He's sitting there still whispering to the person next to him like, so. So you think they got chicken wings?
[00:26:47] Speaker A: I saw a couple.
I saw a couple angles. So one angle, the first angle I saw was him on.
The angle was them on the.
What am I trying to say? On the stage. It was an angle on the stage.
[00:27:01] Speaker B: Oh, when they snatched the guy from behind.
[00:27:04] Speaker A: Yeah, when they got Vance, he picked
[00:27:06] Speaker B: him up by his shoulders.
[00:27:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
Let me see if I can pull this up for y'. All.
See, this is the second angle I saw. So from that angle, you could tell they don't know what's going on. Yeah, you can kind of hear the plates, but you don't hear no guns.
[00:27:24] Speaker B: Yeah, no, you do hear the guns.
[00:27:26] Speaker A: You can hear it a little bit.
[00:27:27] Speaker B: Yeah, well, you know, I was listening, like.
[00:27:30] Speaker A: Yeah, we know it's something going on, so we listening. But some people was like, I don't hear nothing. And if you hear, why he just sitting there not knowing what's going on or whatever.
[00:27:37] Speaker B: Nah, it's probably sound like. When you there, it probably sound like somebody just dropping something.
[00:27:41] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what. That's what some people were saying. They were saying it. It seemed like they. Somebody just dropped some plates. Yeah, but I'm gonna play this. This. I'm gonna play this from this angle. This from the back of the room.
And you could tell the people in the back of the room, they see what happened. So hold on. Here we go.
[00:28:00] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, they start moving. Boy, look at them.
[00:28:02] Speaker A: Nah, not yet.
[00:28:07] Speaker B: Oh, they just moving around. Oh, they getting food right now. That's why they moving around so much. Yeah, there you go. That's the shots you see.
[00:28:15] Speaker A: Watch the people.
[00:28:16] Speaker B: Look at everybody looking that way.
[00:28:17] Speaker A: Yeah, but see the people on the. On the front, they don't know what's going on yet. On the stage. They don't see it.
Look at that.
[00:28:25] Speaker B: Jumped up on the stage. Is that the waiter?
Oh, no. Secret Service cover.
[00:28:30] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, and they still got the music playing.
[00:28:35] Speaker B: Come on, man.
[00:28:36] Speaker A: Yeah, y' all dropped the ball, but then they turned it off.
[00:28:39] Speaker B: They dropped the ball.
[00:28:40] Speaker A: How you say they dropped the ball?
[00:28:42] Speaker B: He Wasn't covered and quick enough. That first shot, it was supposed to.
[00:28:46] Speaker A: I don't think they heard it. I don't think the people at the front heard it.
[00:28:50] Speaker B: Nah, they. They didn't. The shots were too close. That's. What do you mean too close? Man? That's the President.
[00:28:56] Speaker A: Too close to the President?
[00:28:57] Speaker B: Hell yeah. Ain't no other gun supposed to be even near him except Secret Service.
[00:29:02] Speaker A: So they were saying that he.
The guy rushed the door with him.
[00:29:11] Speaker B: The hallway area.
[00:29:12] Speaker A: In the hallway, yeah. So he really wasn't close.
He was there, but he wasn't like in the ballroom where they were at?
[00:29:18] Speaker B: Yeah, he wasn't in there. Yeah, it's a black guy too. Right.
[00:29:21] Speaker A: If we can confirm the identity of the suspect. I want to bring in our Chief justice correspondent Pierre Thomas for a little bit more about what we're learning. Pierre.
[00:29:28] Speaker C: We're learning that the suspect is from Torrance, California. According to our sources.
The sources. I'm going to try to be very specific here.
Is identified as Cole Allen, again from Torrance, California. As we have been told by various sources and by the Attorney General of the United States, search warrants are being executed at residents associated with this man. They're also at his hotel room, obviously checking and going through any items they can find there. Again, he's been charged with multiple counts, including assaulting a federal officer and using a weapon in the commission of a crime. Law enforcement officials are expected to do a deep dive right now. The D.C. police Department.
Again, this is early in the investigation. Early in the investigation. They are going to look at every bit of social media activity. If he had any, they're going to exploit any devices, mobile phones, computers that he has. This investigation is now full tilt, the highest priority in the federal government in terms of law enforcement right at this moment.
[00:30:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I wish you had a slow motion camera on all the people I would fire that he ran through.
[00:30:44] Speaker A: Cause check this out.
[00:30:45] Speaker B: And the guys, the last guy he ran past, he still didn't draw his gun.
He still didn't get shot either.
[00:30:54] Speaker A: Yeah, that's the thing. He didn't get shot. So what do you think? Cause you didn't see this social media, nothing really about it, did you?
[00:31:01] Speaker B: What people talking about it?
[00:31:02] Speaker A: Yeah. Have you seen the people talking about it?
[00:31:03] Speaker B: I don't even pay attention to when the people talk about it yet.
[00:31:05] Speaker A: What do you think the people are saying about this?
[00:31:09] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:31:10] Speaker A: Did you see the other angle?
[00:31:11] Speaker B: I saw. What's that girl? What's that guy that got assassinated
[00:31:17] Speaker A: Who? Charlie Kirk?
[00:31:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw.
[00:31:19] Speaker A: He didn't get a. I saw it.
Do regular people get assassinated? Whatever. The guy that got killed, the guy that got shot, he wasn't down.
[00:31:26] Speaker B: I seen him walking his wife out of there, crying.
Crying the eyes out.
[00:31:30] Speaker A: Oh, his wife walking out.
[00:31:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:32] Speaker A: Oh.
So a lot of people are saying this is fake because Trump. Because it was like, why did they get Vance out first and get Trump out last?
Did you see Trump fall?
[00:31:46] Speaker B: I don't think so.
[00:31:48] Speaker A: I gotta find that one there.
Yeah, he fell in the video.
In one of the videos.
So they saying that it's fake.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: Damn. So another stunt he done pulled.
[00:32:02] Speaker A: That's what they trying to say. But looking at it from that back view. Cause people were saying it before that back view really was shown. But if you see it from the back view, you could tell the people closest to the door heard it and they started moving.
You know what I'm saying?
[00:32:16] Speaker B: I don't think it was fake.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: I don't think it was fake either.
[00:32:19] Speaker B: Cause something like that, you putting people in harms.
Even if it's fake, like somebody could trip, somebody could.
They could start a stampede in there, anything.
I don't think he would do that.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't think so either.
Excuse me. Yeah, I'm trying to find this other. See, this is the view.
This is another view, a front view.
[00:32:47] Speaker B: Oh, that's a good view. I didn't see this one.
[00:32:49] Speaker A: Yeah, that's why we here, baby.
[00:32:50] Speaker B: Look at he up there enjoying themselves.
[00:32:52] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know what he telling them.
[00:32:53] Speaker B: He's still. Trump's still listening. He ain't say shit. Look, look, he's still listening. He's like, what they say what's going on?
[00:33:00] Speaker A: Yeah, we just gonna see what's going on.
[00:33:03] Speaker B: He should have got under the table. He didn't even move yet.
[00:33:06] Speaker A: See, I don't think they heard the gunshots up there. They just saw the ruckus.
[00:33:10] Speaker B: They saw the ruckus. That's what it was.
[00:33:11] Speaker A: See, he tripped. He fall.
Right. See, it's an angle from the other
[00:33:15] Speaker B: side where they grabbed the guy by the shoulder.
[00:33:17] Speaker A: Yeah, that's Vice President Vance.
[00:33:20] Speaker B: That's who it was.
[00:33:20] Speaker A: Yeah, that's the Vice president.
[00:33:21] Speaker B: He grabbed it by both arms, by both shoulders.
[00:33:24] Speaker A: Picked his ass. Get your ass out of here.
[00:33:26] Speaker B: Get your ass up. Yeah, come on, man.
[00:33:30] Speaker A: Yeah. So it's been a lot of that conspiracy theory talk on there.
[00:33:35] Speaker B: I know what happened. I know why the guy ain't shot,
[00:33:38] Speaker A: why he didn't get shot.
[00:33:39] Speaker B: Yeah, they didn't know if it was a black guy. Cause he looks mixed.
Go look at it.
[00:33:46] Speaker A: They blew that other nigga head off. The one that.
[00:33:49] Speaker B: Yeah, pop his top.
[00:33:50] Speaker A: Yeah, but he shot us a secret service person too though.
[00:33:53] Speaker B: Yeah, he was still shooting too.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: He came through, shot.
[00:33:55] Speaker B: He wasn't. He ain't stopped. He ain't run through. Yeah, that nigga ran through like. What's that video game?
The Aladdin game. What's the name?
[00:34:02] Speaker A: The Aladdin video game.
[00:34:04] Speaker B: Yeah, it was like they used to run like that. Used to run up the walls and shit.
[00:34:07] Speaker A: Oh, Knights of Arabia or something.
[00:34:10] Speaker B: That's the way he ran through.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ninja gator ran through like ninja gator.
[00:34:15] Speaker B: He did?
[00:34:15] Speaker A: Yeah, ain't.
[00:34:16] Speaker B: Ain't not one person shot. Come on, man. Something. Something's up. Yeah, a run like that through me and a loud noise go off. I'mma at least trip him.
[00:34:27] Speaker A: What if he had like a silence on his gun or something?
[00:34:31] Speaker B: Nah, that strip was too loud. You heard it?
[00:34:33] Speaker A: Yeah, we did hit a pop.
[00:34:34] Speaker B: You heard the echo?
[00:34:34] Speaker A: Yeah, we heard it. And he shot a few times too.
[00:34:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:39] Speaker A: The thing about this is, and this is with all jobs, you can't like not act like you at work.
You can't like a job like, like you can't relax. You can't be. He was them two dudes we saw and they was chilling.

[00:36:24] Speaker A: these to put his drink down first
[00:36:26] Speaker B: instead of trying to catch the nigga.

[00:38:02] Speaker A: Just wide open. That supposed to be button up? No, it can't be buttoned up. You got your gun in there.
[00:38:06] Speaker B: He supposed to have it.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: Y', all. Ain't it got to be some kind of formation.
[00:38:12] Speaker B: I wish that camera view was as clear as the mother ones.
[00:38:14] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a. It's 20, 26. Y' all gotta have A better camera angle than that.
[00:38:18] Speaker B: All of them fight.
[00:38:20] Speaker A: It better be all of them watch this nigga come running through.
Oh, that nigga had his gun out, though.
[00:38:25] Speaker B: It's more in the back, too.
[00:38:26] Speaker A: They spray like roast.
[00:38:27] Speaker B: Hold on. Go back. Oh, I ain't got actually to go back no more, but. How many people is there? It's at least 10 people. He ran through.

[00:38:38] Speaker B: What's his name? They ain't released his name yet.
[00:38:39] Speaker A: Yeah, they released his name. They went to his hotel.
[00:38:41] Speaker B: Look at it. Look at that.

[00:38:45] Speaker A: Look at them.
[00:38:47] Speaker B: Come on, Jack.
[00:38:48] Speaker A: But they can't really shoot. Shoot like that. Cause they're gonna be shooting across each other.
[00:38:51] Speaker B: Yeah, but somebody.
[00:38:52] Speaker A: Two came from outside. Three came from outside. Four.
[00:38:55] Speaker B: They ain't shoot at all.
[00:38:57] Speaker A: You can't just be shooting like that, though.
[00:38:59] Speaker B: He can. Nah, but he ain't. Nobody draw either. Look, he ain't get it out yet.
[00:39:02] Speaker A: That ran through like Avatar.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: He did right?
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Last Airbender, his arm was bent. What if he was shooting backwards?
[00:39:09] Speaker B: It looked like he was shooting while he was running.
They stripped him too.

[00:39:21] Speaker B: They ain't care. They just put that.
[00:39:23] Speaker A: This right.
[00:39:23] Speaker B: Put that in the pretzel.
[00:39:24] Speaker A: He looked like that. He looked like the black version of that. Man, that be dancing on the.
What's that?

[00:39:35] Speaker B: Damn. What.
[00:39:35] Speaker A: What's the Six Flags.

[00:39:38] Speaker A: You know that Six Flags commercial with a little dancing thing with the shoe?
[00:39:41] Speaker B: He.
[00:39:41] Speaker A: Do he look like a black one? He look like a black.

[00:40:00] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:40:01] Speaker B: You got it.
[00:40:02] Speaker A: Hold up. Watch this right here.
I hope we don't get a copyright strike from this. There you go.
[00:40:08] Speaker B: Oh, I'd be mad if we get it for this. Look at it.
[00:40:10] Speaker A: Yeah, he looked just like that. Who he looked like with that suit on. He had on a bow tie, too.
[00:40:13] Speaker B: Yep, a black version.
[00:40:15] Speaker A: That's him right there. A black version of that right there.
[00:40:16] Speaker B: Black version.
[00:40:17] Speaker A: Ears and all.
[00:40:18] Speaker B: All right. Turn it off for. They get us.
[00:40:20] Speaker A: Yeah, we got that. We gotta get that part though.
[00:40:22] Speaker B: We gotta.
Oh, snap.
[00:40:28] Speaker A: Yeah. But yeah, they try to get him.
[00:40:31] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:40:32] Speaker A: You try to get somebody. You think it was an inside job?
[00:40:35] Speaker B: Nah. Well, he had to have some kind of access.
[00:40:39] Speaker A: Yeah. How he get to the.
[00:40:40] Speaker B: He got all the way in there. Yeah, some kind of access. He was the bellboy.
[00:40:46] Speaker A: Some kind of way.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: He was a cook or something. Something.
[00:40:49] Speaker A: Yeah, some kind of way.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: You think they're gonna put that information out?
[00:40:55] Speaker A: What information?
[00:40:57] Speaker B: Who he really is.
[00:40:58] Speaker A: Yeah, they got it.
[00:40:58] Speaker B: They went.
[00:40:59] Speaker A: They know he. From California.
They sent people to his house in California. They knew where his. Where he was staying. He was staying like 40 minutes away from wherever the.
[00:41:08] Speaker B: How you go, how you get in?
[00:41:11] Speaker A: I can't believe that they got to find that out. But you, you asking, do they, do I think they'll put it on social media how he got up in the media, how he got out.
[00:41:21] Speaker B: Yeah, they're not, they're not gonna.
[00:41:23] Speaker A: I doubt it very seriously.
[00:41:24] Speaker B: He didn't even have a lump on his head.
[00:41:26] Speaker A: Nah, they slammed him pretty softly.
[00:41:31] Speaker B: Put his arm in the chicken wing. He didn't even know he could scratch the back of his neck like that.
[00:41:39] Speaker A: Let's see, we got an update on a story we talked about a little while ago with the guy David.
[00:41:48] Speaker B: That David shit, right?
[00:41:49] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:41:50] Speaker B: Get him out of here.
[00:41:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
Let me go to CBS for this report. A hearing just wrapped up for singer David in his first degree murder case. The prosecution revealed details about disturbing digital evidence.
[00:42:03] Speaker D: Let's get to CBSLA's Rick Montanez with
[00:42:05] Speaker A: what we learned in court today. Rick, what are you hearing? Fair use, Amy.
[00:42:11] Speaker D: Chris, the hearing just wrapped up within the half hour here and cameras were not allowed in court. But I can tell you that the defendant, David Burke was in court today in shackles and wearing that orange jumpsuit. The biggest new piece of evidence revealed, prosecutors say, a significant amount of child porn.
[00:42:31] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:42:33] Speaker D: Cell phone.
We also want to point out that this all happens one day after the medical examiner's report became public.
That is the report on the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the report says, or I should say, the family of Rivas Hernandez is absolutely devastated to learn the gruesome details contained in that write up. That's according to a family statement.
So this report says the 14 year old girl died of sharp force trauma. But the autopsy was difficult because of the severe decomposition of her dismembered body when it was found in the singer's Abandoned Tesla last September. Officials say she died five months earlier, in April of last year. Burke, the suspect, known by his stage name David, was arrested last Thursday.
On Monday, he pled not guilty to the capital murder charges. We spoke with a former federal prosecutor just a short time ago here on CBSLA mornings about this new evidence revealed in today's hearings and the fact that David's phone, according to prosecutors, contains child porn.
[00:43:40] Speaker A: And obviously we don't know if. I wonder what the child porn was. Was it her or was it just child porn, period?
[00:43:46] Speaker B: Yeah, they said it was different. Like it ain't had nothing to do with this.
[00:43:50] Speaker A: Oh, even if he didn't kill that.
[00:43:53] Speaker B: That girl.
[00:43:53] Speaker A: That girl. Lock him up.
[00:43:55] Speaker B: Fry him.
Fry him.
[00:43:56] Speaker A: Yeah, lock that nigga up, son.
[00:43:58] Speaker B: That's good. Let him give it, get it. Give them all the years you can.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: We was. They talked.
I engineer Jones showed the music Jones podcast and he talked about this and they were talking about whether or not he gonna get done up in. In jail or whatever. I don't think he gonna make it.
[00:44:14] Speaker B: Nah, he gonna kill himself.
[00:44:15] Speaker A: I think they gonna kill him.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: I think he gonna kill himself.
[00:44:17] Speaker A: You think so?
[00:44:17] Speaker B: He looked like he's unstable like this nigga.
[00:44:20] Speaker A: I think we did say, you know, before that she was decapitated. That's crazy.
[00:44:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:26] Speaker A: Do that to a 14 year old bro, his girlfriend, anybody.
[00:44:31] Speaker B: Yeah, but his girlfriend, like, like you real close to you real close to him to be, you know, that significant other.
[00:44:40] Speaker A: But he wrong anyway for that to be his girlfriend. And he 20 something.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:44] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying, for one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But fry him, Fry him. Yeah, yeah, him and that other nigga.
[00:44:52] Speaker B: Which one?
[00:44:52] Speaker A: You know, I ain't saying his name. Y' all know who I hate.
I mean, I guess. Hey, yeah, he's just a disappointment. It's a lot of songs. I can't. But he makes so good music.
You separate the man from the music.
[00:45:07] Speaker B: He's fried, though. Like, I don't think he's coming out.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:45:10] Speaker B: Oh, the other guy.
[00:45:11] Speaker A: The other guy too.
[00:45:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I think the other guy's gone.
[00:45:13] Speaker A: Yeah, he. Yeah, yeah. He probably gonna die in there too. I got a question. Speaking of people, who they separate the music from that was on Joe Budden. Cause you know Usher and Chris Brown.
[00:45:23] Speaker B: Yeah, they got that.
[00:45:24] Speaker A: They got the tour coming.
Do you think who in A versus, who you think will win that?
[00:45:32] Speaker B: Oh, Chris Brown.
[00:45:33] Speaker A: You think Chris Brown. Oh, yeah. You think it would be a landslide or.
[00:45:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: Really?
[00:45:38] Speaker B: Yes.
And the only reason I say that Is cause you got Apple music.
[00:45:44] Speaker A: No, I have Tidal.
[00:45:45] Speaker B: Well, title does the same thing. If you go like to his essentials.
[00:45:49] Speaker A: Uh huh. Yeah, they do got title essentials. They do.
[00:45:52] Speaker B: That's a no Skip.
[00:45:54] Speaker A: His essentials is a no Skip.
[00:45:55] Speaker B: No Skip.
[00:45:56] Speaker A: You wanna know something though? I said this some years ago before, like this last run of his, that he don't got no whack songs. Except for that Transformer song.
[00:46:04] Speaker B: The Transformer ain't even a whack. That was a big hit.
[00:46:07] Speaker A: It was a. No, I'm saying whack as in I do not like it. I think it's whack. But it was still a hit. Yeah, but I still think that was a wax song.
[00:46:14] Speaker B: So I was thinking the other day is like ike a Chris Brown concert is all female. It's gonna be all female.
Like females love it.
[00:46:26] Speaker A: Yeah, it'll be. Yeah. If he wasn't so 90% handsome looking
[00:46:31] Speaker B: or something like that, he would get more people to show up. Like guys will go, guys going, guys going. But just think about it. When you think of a Chris Brown concert, you think of female.
[00:46:42] Speaker A: What male singer gonna have half and half.
What percentage do you think it'll be? If it's like what you said Tyrese, what percentage do you think it is at a Tyrese concert?
[00:47:00] Speaker B: It's still 70. 30.
[00:47:03] Speaker A: Exactly.
Any R and B when it's singing. Unless it's like some old people.
[00:47:10] Speaker B: Yeah, like Marvin Gaye or some shit OJs.
[00:47:13] Speaker A: I mean, you have to have a. A voodoo priest in that. That you go to a Marvin Gaye concert bringing them back seance and they bring them back.
But now I just.
[00:47:25] Speaker B: With you.
[00:47:25] Speaker A: But you know what's, what's the group? The Isley Brothers.
[00:47:30] Speaker B: Yeah, that's, you know, 50. 50 right there.
[00:47:32] Speaker A: That'd probably be 50. 50, Frankie Beverly.
[00:47:34] Speaker B: 50 50.
That's what I mean. Like when they start putting that sex symbol in it, it changes the.
[00:47:41] Speaker A: It's even the post was like somebody was like, shouldn't no man go to the Usher?
[00:47:46] Speaker B: See, that's what I mean.
[00:47:47] Speaker A: But you goofy though. Cause I don't feel like that. I don't either. I don't either. But person to make that. Yeah.
[00:47:54] Speaker B: Think about it. If you watch a social media.
Soon as they announce that concert, how many females like, oh, I'm gonna give a kidney. I'm gonna have to find me a cat daddy or whatever to buy my concert tickets. He ain't seen no.
Not one nigga said anything about the
[00:48:09] Speaker A: concert, but he still want to go Niggas act super.
They act like, you know, they keep all that nonchalant.
Not nonchalant, but, like, the equivalent of that would probably be like the Kanye concert or the Jay Z concert. That's recent. Like, them was the most recent concerts. That probably cost a lot for dudes.
[00:48:28] Speaker B: Yeah, you might.
[00:48:29] Speaker A: And they ain't even say nothing. You know what I'm saying? Dudes ain't say nothing. You know what I'm saying? But if you go to places like that, anything that's concerts, stuff like that, it be a lot of women. Unless it's, like, certain rap music.
[00:48:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:45] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
Most of the time, you go to stuff with concerts and stuff like that, it's mostly women.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: Think about that, man.
Chris Brown and freaking Usher.
[00:48:59] Speaker A: That shit gonna be crazy.
[00:49:01] Speaker B: It's gonna be female. Like, that is girl. It's gonna be groups. So many groups of girls, groups of women. It's not gonna be too many couples. It's gonna be groups of women there.
[00:49:10] Speaker A: That's really all. It's gonna be groups of women and couples.
[00:49:13] Speaker B: Yep.
I'm gonna go out there selling cherries and flowers.
[00:49:17] Speaker A: Ooh, you gonna go out there sounding dusty.
Here, baby, buy this rose for $5.
[00:49:26] Speaker B: You gotta buy, you know, for him. Yo, your lady wants a rose. Don't let Usher feed your girl cherries. You feed her.
[00:49:35] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, for. For the first. For the seven. That's gonna be out there.
Everybody else gonna be women.
[00:49:42] Speaker B: Hey, I wasn't there. I ain't gonna say it.
[00:49:44] Speaker A: It gonna be packs of women out there, bro.
[00:49:46] Speaker B: It is.
[00:49:47] Speaker A: They gonna be packs. And they gonna be dressed up nice. They gonna be fine. You think any, like, Cardi B concert? That was another one Cardi B concert.
I don't know no niggas who went to that concert.
[00:49:59] Speaker B: Nah, but you know what? It depends on who else is on that ticket.
[00:50:03] Speaker A: What?
[00:50:04] Speaker B: That Cardi B. Like, if you put, like, a. I still. If you put an offset there, then you might get.
[00:50:10] Speaker A: No, but it's over.
[00:50:11] Speaker B: No, I'm just saying, like, if they did that, they might have got guys.
[00:50:14] Speaker A: I think it was like. I don't.
[00:50:15] Speaker B: But Beyonce might be 50.
[00:50:18] Speaker A: 50 of what?
Dudes and women?
[00:50:21] Speaker B: Yeah, it might be 50. 50?
[00:50:22] Speaker A: Hell no.
[00:50:23] Speaker B: I don't know, man.
[00:50:25] Speaker A: Hell no.
[00:50:25] Speaker B: From gay guys to a couple guys. You gotta count the gay guys.
[00:50:30] Speaker A: No, bro, I'm telling you. You ever been to a Beyonce concert?
[00:50:33] Speaker B: It's get so many gay guys there. That's what. No, that's what makes it 50.
[00:50:36] Speaker A: 50. No, hell no, bro.
I went to the on the run. It was the owner. Run too. On the run too die.
It was women all over the place, bro.
[00:50:46] Speaker B: You was looking.
[00:50:47] Speaker A: Yes. You can't help it.
They all over the place.
[00:50:51] Speaker B: You didn't go by yourself.
[00:50:52] Speaker A: I didn't go by myself.
[00:50:53] Speaker B: And you were still looking.
[00:50:54] Speaker A: I couldn't help it. I was looking to make sure I ain't see nobody I knew.
[00:50:57] Speaker B: Show me how you was doing it, huh?
[00:50:59] Speaker A: What you mean?
[00:51:00] Speaker B: Show me how you was looking around.
[00:51:01] Speaker A: You can't help. You just walk straight. Look. And they just.
[00:51:03] Speaker B: They in front of waves of women.
[00:51:05] Speaker A: Just all over.
Just waves of women. All over waves of women, women, women, women, gay guy. Waves of women, women, women, women, gay guy. Yeah. It'd be so many women. It'd be so many women. It'd be so many women, bro. That's probably how this concert gonna be.
[00:51:21] Speaker B: I don't think I would want to go to a Beyonce concert.
[00:51:23] Speaker A: Why?
[00:51:23] Speaker B: I don't like. I'm not gonna sing the songs.
I can't you go bopping to them either.
[00:51:30] Speaker A: You ain't never bopped to a Beyonce song.
[00:51:32] Speaker B: Maybe like, you know, like not like a concert bop, like a. Yeah, you know.
[00:51:38] Speaker A: No, you gonna be a concert bop.
Did you watch her Coachella's performance?
[00:51:43] Speaker B: No.
[00:51:43] Speaker A: I did go on Netflix and watch that shit.
[00:51:46] Speaker B: I had it playing here one day, but I didn't pay no mind to it.
[00:51:49] Speaker A: If you go and watch that and you don't vibe to that.
[00:51:54] Speaker B: See, at home is different though.
[00:51:56] Speaker A: It ain't different. I'm just saying vibing to the music. You got a sound system in here. You gonna hear all the sounds. It gonna sound great. And I'm telling you, that shit is.
That sound good and you ain't gonna. You can't help about. Cause then she. She be throwing in like hip hop songs, beats and all that, and she gonna be dancing.
[00:52:15] Speaker B: Oh, for real?
[00:52:16] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, like on her last tour, she threw in the. With them fans at. She did. She did a little thing on that.
[00:52:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:52:23] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So.
[00:52:24] Speaker B: So I. When I had it playing here, I didn't have the sound up. I just had the going.
[00:52:29] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. If you go with the sound up, you're going to vi.
[00:52:34] Speaker B: You know who I want to see who. But I never really want to go see because I feel funny, genuine.
Because I like genuine.
[00:52:44] Speaker A: You, you gotta take the lady that live at your house.
[00:52:47] Speaker B: Nah, man, I can't see me dancing to genuine.
[00:52:50] Speaker A: You ain't got to dance. You don't have no room to dance anyway.
[00:52:53] Speaker B: You got to bop, though. You got to move like you can.
[00:52:56] Speaker A: How do you do y' all ever go, like, out to a place where you gotta dance or.
[00:53:00] Speaker B: She went to what's called.
No, I'm talking about Jill Scott the other day.
[00:53:04] Speaker A: I'm talking about y' all two together, like at a wedding or something.
[00:53:07] Speaker B: Nah, I don't dance.
[00:53:11] Speaker A: But I'm saying, well, if you don't dance, then you shouldn't have a problem with going to the concert.
[00:53:15] Speaker B: I would feel stiff. You standing like.
[00:53:19] Speaker A: I know what you scared of.
[00:53:21] Speaker B: What the.
[00:53:21] Speaker A: Look around you. Scared the dancing demon gonna possess you, and you gonna start dancing in the aisle when you hear my whole life hating.
That's what.
[00:53:33] Speaker B: That's a pony. Pony.
[00:53:34] Speaker A: Oh, pony.
[00:53:35] Speaker B: Come on.
[00:53:39] Speaker A: And then you gonna start dancing.
[00:53:42] Speaker B: I'm gonna slide the leg and.
[00:53:44] Speaker A: Yeah, you ain't gonna have room. So that gonna be the. You gonna bump your.
You gonna bump out the way. Hell yeah. But, yeah, they were talking about who would win, so that's what I think, too. I think Chris Brown would. Would win because I even like Usher's biggest songs, other than, like, three of them.
[00:54:00] Speaker B: What do you think?
What do you think Usher's biggest song is? Is it biggest? Is it?
[00:54:05] Speaker A: Yeah, it might be. Yeah. Or Let it Burn or Confessions. Confessions, Something like that. I don't know. I don't know. Numbers wise. I don't know. Cause for a long time, I thought Usher was a lot of, like, the real R and B people.
[00:54:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:54:19] Speaker A: Seem like they just blacks. They. For the blacks. Usher seemed like somebody that's. His music is just. It's so R and B until it's just for us. And only we would like Usher like that once.
[00:54:30] Speaker B: Yeah. It came out. It was over.
[00:54:31] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'm saying. But like, most of his songs really are strictly, like, Let It Burn is a show enough R and B song.
My Way got a little bit more of a hip hop feel to it. You know what I'm saying? But that's one of his older Jones, but for me, he just seemed like more of an arm. Like people like Jodeci 112, Jagged Edge, they seem just like strictly R and B. Strictly black. And Usher kind of fall like that. Chris Brown, he do some R and B. He do some songs that more pop. Then he got some songs that lean a little bit more toward hip hop.
[00:55:08] Speaker B: You think Chris Brown is the closest thing we had to Michael Jackson since Michael?
[00:55:14] Speaker A: No.
[00:55:15] Speaker B: Who you think?
[00:55:17] Speaker A: Beyonce.
[00:55:19] Speaker B: Male.
[00:55:21] Speaker A: Male. Male. Than Chris Brown. But overall, Beyonce.
[00:55:28] Speaker B: Beyonce is big.
[00:55:31] Speaker A: Cause Chris Brown, all of the stuff that he got in trouble with that kind of hindered him from being.
Going to that next level status. That. Yeah, yeah. Cause they gonna always put that on him, no matter. You know what I'm saying?
But, like, I remember when he. Before this I'm talking about, it had to be like, the same week he had just came out with a Juicy Fruit commercial. And when I saw that, I was like, oh, this dude about to go to the next level.
And right after that, it was Chris Brown and Rihanna.
[00:56:02] Speaker B: He was like, oh, he was dancing in that commercial.
[00:56:04] Speaker A: Yeah, he was dancing. I'm gonna see if I can find it. But yeah, it was a Juicy Fruit commercial commercial. And it was. It was like. It seemed like it was like that same week. And I was like, oh, yeah, he out of here.
Yeah, he was. He was poised to be it. Because. And then if you listen, listen, like the music he has now, he always drop a hit. Yep.
[00:56:24] Speaker B: Always that new. What's that name? Dedication or. What's the name of that song that they was doing the challenge for Desperation? A dedication or something.
[00:56:36] Speaker A: That might be it. That might be a dedication. I thought it was a Juicy Fruit commercial, but this says it's a double mint.
[00:56:43] Speaker B: Same. Same thing.
[00:56:44] Speaker A: Nah, but I hate being that wrong. That's.
That's it.
[00:56:52] Speaker B: That was a low haircut. Still a boy.
[00:56:59] Speaker A: Dancing in the damn video.
[00:57:05] Speaker B: All right, well, you. All right. Let me ask you this. There's one more Chris Brown and Michael Jackson comparison.
[00:57:11] Speaker A: Who danced better?
[00:57:13] Speaker B: Who's the next biggest dancer after Michael?
[00:57:17] Speaker A: The next biggest dancer after Michael? Yeah, Chris Brown.
[00:57:20] Speaker B: Okay.
Yeah, I just was checking.
[00:57:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I seen this nigga. I seen this nigga in concert.
[00:57:27] Speaker B: That nigga back flip. Nigga swing off this.
[00:57:30] Speaker A: That nigga back flip while singing in the air and hit the damn note while he land and they ain't fuck it up.
[00:57:35] Speaker B: You seen the nigga in concert?
[00:57:37] Speaker A: Yeah, he was in Charlotte.
[00:57:38] Speaker B: Was you dancing?
[00:57:39] Speaker A: Nah, it was him in Fabulous.
[00:57:40] Speaker B: Was you dancing?
[00:57:41] Speaker A: No, I don't dance.
[00:57:43] Speaker B: What'd you do when you was there?
[00:57:44] Speaker A: No, I was just, you know, Bob my head. Whatever. Cause I ain't really knew. This was before. Like, fuck you back to sleep and all them songs. You know what I'm saying? That's my joke right there.
[00:57:54] Speaker B: So what you was doing. I got.
[00:57:55] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Just Bob.
[00:57:56] Speaker B: Cause I know you a little shy. People might not. People might not understand, but you are shy.
[00:58:01] Speaker A: Try to throw. All right. Okay. Right I ain't shy. I'm just, you know.
[00:58:04] Speaker B: Now you shy.
[00:58:04] Speaker A: An introvert.
[00:58:07] Speaker B: It's on the borderline of shy.
[00:58:08] Speaker A: Like, all right, I'll take that.
[00:58:09] Speaker B: Walk through with your head down and shit.
[00:58:12] Speaker A: I walk through with my head up. I just be quiet.
Don't try to put me together now. Well, go ahead, continue.
[00:58:18] Speaker B: I can't see you moving, like.
[00:58:20] Speaker A: But when you at a concert, you in your own world, ain't nobody paying you no damn attention.
[00:58:24] Speaker B: You feel like that. But until that nigga looking like this nigga over here wiggling and shit.
[00:58:29] Speaker A: It was all women.
[00:58:30] Speaker B: This nigga ain't even dancing. He wiggling.
[00:58:33] Speaker A: And Phenom was there.
DJ Nova was there.
[00:58:38] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:58:39] Speaker A: Blaze was there. And then it was. The rest was, you know, women that went with us on the party bus.
[00:58:44] Speaker B: Oh, that party bus shit.
[00:58:48] Speaker A: Mm.
And my girl at the time was with us, too. I was supposed to go. Shoulda went cuh on hood.
[00:58:54] Speaker B: Yeah, Party bus.
[00:58:55] Speaker A: Mm.
[00:58:58] Speaker B: I remember that. But you know why I didn't go? Cause y' all niggas left so late. Y' all left like five, six o', clock, seven o'. Clock.
[00:59:04] Speaker A: Nah, we. Yeah, yeah, we did leave like six or seven. Something like that. Cause it was.
I think I managed to get off work a little early that day for some reason.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Yeah, it was something. It's something.
[00:59:14] Speaker A: We did leave kind of late, though.
[00:59:15] Speaker B: Yeah, I was like, yo, niggas leaving late. I was like. Cause I don't remember why I didn't go.
[00:59:20] Speaker A: Yeah, but we did. We took the bus up there. I remember that shit was fun. I'm talking. We were drinking. Yeah.
[00:59:27] Speaker B: Something happened on the party bus. Somebody left something. Or somebody left somebody.
[00:59:32] Speaker A: I don't know if somebody got left.
[00:59:33] Speaker B: It was something with the party bus.
[00:59:35] Speaker A: My girl got mad, though. Cause this girl was trying to give me a lap dance. On the party bus.
Yeah, she got mad.
[00:59:42] Speaker B: Shout out.
[00:59:43] Speaker A: And she was like.
She was. Cause. And then, you know what I'm saying, at the time, she was like, with that type of, you know, you know what it was. But so check this out. So she already was like, spitting at the girl or whatever, you know what I'm saying? So I was just sitting there chilling.
[00:59:57] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:59:58] Speaker A: And the girl started.
Sat on my lap and started. You know what I'm saying? I was just chilling, you know, like you say introverted.
[01:00:04] Speaker B: Was it with you? Was she with you? Was she with y'? All?
[01:00:08] Speaker A: No, it was just some random girl.
[01:00:10] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So it was the party. It was. Party was going on.
[01:00:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
[01:00:14] Speaker B: But I look like part of the party.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: Well, no, not really. Like, I was there chilling. You know, we was kind of sitting beside each other, but you know what I'm saying? I was interacting with the homies.
[01:00:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[01:00:23] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? But they was talking to this, that, and this person. That person. Whatever, Whatever.
[01:00:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:28] Speaker A: And then my Joan was talking to her, kind of interacting or whatever.
[01:00:32] Speaker B: I know your Joan.
[01:00:34] Speaker A: I don't think so.
I don't think so.
But that happened. So I'm like, oh, shoot, we might have a little extra action after Chris Jones. But then, like, then that girl started dancing on my lap or whatever.
[01:00:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: She was like, yeah, wipe that smile off your face. I was like, what the f. She got mad at me. Like. I was like, what? It was that big?
[01:00:54] Speaker B: That smile was that big?
[01:00:55] Speaker A: Nah, I was just like. I just. I just. Like, I had looked at Blaze and then it was like, that's what it was. You know?
[01:01:00] Speaker B: That's what it was. But, yeah, she caught the. The eye, like, the little.
[01:01:06] Speaker A: I was like, that's how I was like, oh, this.
[01:01:09] Speaker B: This is why.
[01:01:10] Speaker A: Yeah, them were looking at me like I had all the sauce. You know what I'm saying? But they're like, dang, his girl here. This how y' all get down? But it was, you know, it was one of them things. But. Yeah, but the. The concert was. Was dope, though.
[01:01:24] Speaker B: Yeah. I remember the party bus. That party bus came back and y'. All. It was an event going on, if I'm not mistaken.
Something was going on. Like y' all went somewhere after.
[01:01:35] Speaker A: After the concert.
[01:01:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:01:37] Speaker A: No, no, nah. I mean. Cause like you said, we left late. The concert was over late. I don't think we got here. Back here till like 1 or 2 o'. Clock. Oh, something like that. But it was just.
[01:01:51] Speaker B: It was on a weekday.
[01:01:52] Speaker A: Yeah, it was in the week. That's why it was like a Wednesday or Thursday or something like that.
[01:01:55] Speaker B: That's why I didn't go during the week.
[01:01:57] Speaker A: And at the time, I was living in Columbia. That's why I got there. That's what happened. I had to leave Columbia to come here to get. Come here to get on the bus to go back to go through. Because they didn't. No, I don't think we went. No, we did go to. I think we went the back way. I can't remember. I was drinking. We was on the bus drinking. We had a good time. That was fun, though. But, yeah, I did get to see him, but it was a Weird lineup because it was him and Fabulous.
[01:02:22] Speaker B: That was like Norbert when Norbert was dancing with the wine cooler. And.
And then Rasputia seen that he was talking to that other girl. Dancing with the other girl. That's what it was.
[01:02:33] Speaker A: Nah, it wasn't like that. Cause Norva got hands put on him.
[01:02:36] Speaker B: He dropped the damn speak on his head while he was dancing.
[01:02:39] Speaker A: And yeah, my wouldn't have let no goddamn like that half of Hell no shout out to phenom. Hell no.
But yeah. But, yeah. But, yeah, Chris Brown in concert was cool. A lot of people talking about that concert, too, like, you know, y' all women shouldn't be supporting or whatever. But, man, both of them got bad reps. Yeah, yeah, I forgot. But I was thinking about Usher. Usher got a claim on him that's pretty bad. I don't know if that claim got disputed or not.
[01:03:07] Speaker B: It ain't get cleaned up. Cause I tell you, they still bring it up. And that was there six, seven years ago.
[01:03:12] Speaker A: Might be longer than that.
[01:03:13] Speaker B: Yep.
Yeah, he's still the man that's such
[01:03:17] Speaker A: and such and such, passing it around.
[01:03:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:03:19] Speaker A: Yep. But he ushering it out. Ushering it out. Yep.
What else? Let's see.
What time is it? Oh, yeah, we gotta get out of here, y'. All.
[01:03:30] Speaker B: Nick, is it. What time is it?
[01:03:32] Speaker A: Yeah, we gotta get out of here. Y' all don't know what time it is, but we know what time it is, and it's time.
[01:03:37] Speaker B: I guess we're going yet, though. What else you got?
[01:03:40] Speaker A: I ain't really got much, man.
We'll get this.
I guess we get the scam of the week going.
[01:03:45] Speaker B: All right.
[01:03:56] Speaker A: Okay.
Don't commit you far.
[01:04:08] Speaker B: These blessings come from God, cuz.
[01:04:10] Speaker A: Don't commit you.
Okay.
That remit's crazy, bro.
[01:04:23] Speaker B: Hey, that man, that funny man. Yeah, he is. I watch that all the time. I didn't even.
[01:04:29] Speaker A: What he doing new now?
[01:04:30] Speaker B: He does the osha.
[01:04:33] Speaker A: Nah, but he had to stop that, though.
[01:04:35] Speaker B: Nah, he still do it.
[01:04:36] Speaker A: Oh, he do some new ones.
[01:04:37] Speaker B: Yeah, he do new ones. He has other people going in with the same outfit as him and all.
[01:04:42] Speaker A: I saw one where he kind of
[01:04:43] Speaker B: got in trouble, where there's a couple of them. He had to run at it. Like, he had to move towards the car quick.
We calling the cops. Yeah, call him. We called him already. He's walking out of here and shit.
[01:04:54] Speaker A: So this one takes us to. Well, it's been a lot of, like, former athletes doing scams or whatever.
[01:05:02] Speaker B: It's getting tough times Are tough, but.
[01:05:04] Speaker A: A former Alabama player accused of impersonating NFL players to obtain nearly $20 million in fraudulent loans.
Luther Davis, a former University of Alabama player, has been accused of posing as several NFL players to collect more than 20, almost $20 million in fraudulent loans, according to the Athletic in March. In a March court filing, the U.S. attorney's office claim claims Davis and a co conspirator, CJ Evans. Don Wigs and makeup. God damn all these pop ups. Don Wiggs, Black Enterprise.
This how they paying their bills with all these goddamn pop up ads.
I'm gonna show y' all what this motherfucking shit look like. Two ads of the same shit on this motherfucker. Anyway, I'm gonna let y' all see what I got.
[01:05:51] Speaker B: Oh yeah. So you can't. You gotta scroll through it. You can't see it.
[01:05:53] Speaker A: Cause it's screen. Yeah.
And this is. Well anyway, Don Wiggs. And make up the pose as NFL play. Look at this, man.
[01:06:04] Speaker B: Yeah, you can't even click on it.
[01:06:05] Speaker A: You see that? Yeah, I can't even scroll.
I can't even scroll, bro.
[01:06:09] Speaker B: Yeah, certain site, certain news sites is like that, like newspaper sites and all that. They want you to buy a subscription to the site and all of that.
[01:06:17] Speaker A: Both men have been charged with one kind of conspiracy to commit wild fraud. Get off of that.
Especially to commit wire for our two counts of aggravated identity theft at all felonies. The man plotted to obtain at least 13 loans. When it was time to join a zoom call with the lenders, they presented identification and documents that were either stolen or featured the players photos which were easily found online.
Once the loans were approved, lenders were sent through a network of fake businesses set up by Davis and Evans.
As well as their personal accounts. The funds were then used to purchase real estate, cars and jewelry.
According to the Embassy News, they received more than $19.8 million from various lenders. So even with all of that fake shit that they did, as far as the zoom calls.
[01:07:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:07:05] Speaker A: The pictures and all of that, they still gave them the loans.
[01:07:08] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:07:08] Speaker A: Which is crazy. That's more the same shit with these leaning up on the thing.
Not doing their job all the way.
Yeah, just fuck it. Just not being at night.
[01:07:19] Speaker B: So when they get ready to eat.
[01:07:20] Speaker A: We good? Yeah. Yeah.
It says unbeknownst to the broker and the lender, none of the players were supposedly receiving the loans attended any of these closing. Oh. None of the people who were supposed to get the loans were at any other closing, according to the filing. It says that Davis Dressed in disguise and impersonated the players, providing false identification documents to convince the notary.
Davis is scheduled for April 23rd, 27th hearing before US District Judge Stephen D. Grimberg in Atlanta and has indicated he would plead guilty to the charges.
Evans will also plead guilty before Greenberg this month, according to his attorney.
So he played back in 2009 for Alabama.
So that's our scam of the week. This.
What was his name?
Something. Davis.
[01:08:13] Speaker B: Yeah, it was a black guy.
[01:08:16] Speaker A: Luther Davis. Luther, yeah, Luther Davis. Shout out to him.
He didn't scam nobody. So I wonder what they gonna do with.
Like, how did he get their socials and shit?
[01:08:30] Speaker B: It's not hard.
The Dark Web.
You can buy a package where it'll have. You could get this credit card, the billing, the damn last four digits of the person's social, the name, everything. You can get all of that from one site, really Multiple people.
[01:08:55] Speaker A: Oh, and just have a whole.
And then run that shit up.
[01:08:58] Speaker B: Run it up. Find the right one you want and say, you know what? Let's go with John Salley.
[01:09:03] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:09:04] Speaker B: John Sally, it go. John Sally's at four digits. Oh, this one even got the social.
[01:09:09] Speaker A: Oh, I wonder how much that shit costs.
[01:09:12] Speaker B: It's.
It's a thing called bins where you can buy.
[01:09:17] Speaker A: Oh, kind of like.
It kind of like going to.
What's that? What's that? You know them stores you go and you could just buy a whole pallet full of stuff and you get whatever you get.
[01:09:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:28] Speaker A: So it's kind of like that. You just buy a whole bin of information and you get whatever you get.
[01:09:32] Speaker B: Or you can buy per card is, you know, like $25 a card.
[01:09:37] Speaker A: $25 a card? Yeah. Wow.
[01:09:40] Speaker B: All cards don't hit, though. Oh, you might. You might buy.
You might get, you know, might buy $10 cards. $10 numbers.
And then, you know, you might get
[01:09:52] Speaker A: hit on three of them or two of them.
[01:09:53] Speaker B: There you go. Exactly.
[01:09:54] Speaker A: Wow.
[01:09:55] Speaker B: Some of them you could get, you know, the last four digits. Some of them you could get the. What's that? You type in the zip.
[01:10:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:10:02] Speaker B: Of that card and stuff like that. Because, you know, certain places you can't
[01:10:06] Speaker A: use the card without the zip code.
[01:10:07] Speaker B: You can't use the numbers without the zip.
[01:10:09] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:10:11] Speaker B: I study that shit.
[01:10:13] Speaker A: Just for research purposes.
[01:10:15] Speaker B: Research purposes or if I get the urge to really go ahead and try it. Let me try.
[01:10:21] Speaker A: No, you, because you work in security. This is just for defensive purposes. This isn't for your personal use. Not at all. America. This is this is not for his personal use. This is for research and for knowledge. So to have you look for out for whatever it is.
[01:10:35] Speaker B: And I watch a lot of documentaries.
[01:10:37] Speaker A: Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But yeah. You got anything else?
[01:10:43] Speaker B: Nah, man.
[01:10:44] Speaker A: Yeah, that was a lot of the main stuff that happened this week. Be on the lookout for that Trump stuff.
Probably a lot of people gonna talk about the Michael Jackson stuff too.
