Sprinkle in a little bit of Volume One. [00:01:36] Speaker A: You know, Volume one might be my favorite. [00:01:39] Speaker B: That was my favorite until the Blueprint and then the Black Album and then American gangster and then four, four, four. [00:01:50] Speaker A: What's your favorite song on 444? [00:01:57] Speaker B: It might be. What's the song with Frank Ocean? Oh, might be that one. Or the Higher song. [00:02:10] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I do like Higher. [00:02:11] Speaker B: That one with that. [00:02:13] Speaker A: What's that? The Sister. [00:02:14] Speaker B: Yeah, sample that one. Of course. Everybody Love Bomb. Yeah, everybody love that. [00:02:21] Speaker A: That's probably my favorite one on there. [00:02:22] Speaker B: But out of them, it's a whole bunch of. It's a whole, like, run of songs on that album that just hit. Yeah. [00:02:30] Speaker A: Daisy Weekend. [00:02:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:31] Speaker A: What you went out to, man? [00:02:32] Speaker B: Not much, man. Working. That's it, working. Trying to get ready for this family reunion for this week. [00:02:39] Speaker A: So, okay, when is it this week or is it the weekend? [00:02:43] Speaker B: It's the weekend starting Friday, but I'm leaving Thursday. So I'm going up there. I'm trying to go to the African American Museum in D.C. oh, okay. Thursday. If I can leave. If I can get a ticket. I ain't. I tried. I had. I could have got a ticket like, a couple weeks ago, but I may go up there, but then they have this. It's this Chick Fil a in College Park, Maryland. I don't know if I mentioned it on the show yet already, but they have, like, pizza and wings and burgers. That is like a test kitchen for, like, stuff they gonna put out. [00:03:15] Speaker A: Oh, for Real? Yeah. You had it before? [00:03:18] Speaker B: No, I just saw it online. I'm gonna go up there. I'm gonna have to look, check it out. Yeah, I think it's called a blue. Blue menu or something like that. Oh. So I'm gonna try to go up there, go to the African American museum before. Do all that before I go to family reunion every Friday. Yeah. [00:03:38] Speaker A: So what else is in Maryland? [00:03:41] Speaker B: A bunch of stuff in Maryland. [00:03:42] Speaker A: Crabs. [00:03:44] Speaker B: Yeah, they got crabs. I mean they got. Baltimore's in Maryland. Baltimore, yeah, Baltimore. A whole bunch of stuff to do in Baltimore. Yeah. I might slide up there for a little minute or two, you know, Never know. [00:03:56] Speaker A: Only been there a couple times. [00:03:58] Speaker B: I used to go there all the time. [00:03:59] Speaker A: Yeah? [00:04:00] Speaker B: Mm. Well, for work mainly. Either going there, going through there. But yeah, I was there all the time. [00:04:06] Speaker A: They got a lot of black money in Maryland. [00:04:08] Speaker B: Yep, sure do. I think the richest predominantly black county in America is in Maryland. [00:04:14] Speaker A: Oh, yeah? [00:04:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:15] Speaker A: I know two people that live and they got some big houses. [00:04:18] Speaker B: I know they do. [00:04:18] Speaker A: Yeah. I know exactly what it look like. [00:04:20] Speaker B: They got that bread. [00:04:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:21] Speaker B: Word. [00:04:22] Speaker A: Yep. [00:04:22] Speaker B: Shout out to the people with that bread. [00:04:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:26] Speaker B: What you been watching this week, man? [00:04:28] Speaker A: I caught up on Cape Fear. Have you? You said you wasn't gonna do it, right? [00:04:32] Speaker B: Nah, nah. Shout out to the people that do. [00:04:35] Speaker A: Why? Why you don't wanna do it though? [00:04:37] Speaker B: I can't watch everything. I know, I know, I know. Y' all watch us listeners. It may seem like it that I catch everything. Sometimes I gotta stop, I gotta put some stuff just to not get into it. And that's one of the shows that I will not get into. [00:04:51] Speaker A: It's a good one. [00:04:52] Speaker B: I believe you. And especially it's on Apple. Apple made some good stuff. Yeah, Apple makes some good stuff, so. [00:04:57] Speaker A: Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. Yeah, you're right. [00:04:59] Speaker B: You're right. [00:05:01] Speaker A: I watched a scary movie. Oh, the new one with, you know, the Waynes and stuff like that. [00:05:06] Speaker B: How was it? [00:05:07] Speaker A: It was the norm. [00:05:08] Speaker B: Was it as cheesy? I mean all of those movies are kind of cheesy to me and I only watched them once. Like whichever ones that was. I don't think I watched none of the like latest ones though. [00:05:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I can. I can re watch them one. [00:05:23] Speaker B: Duval in. In one of them. One of the latest. Or maybe he did his own. I think they parody type movie. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I think. [00:05:30] Speaker B: Yeah. I can't. I can't. Really. [00:05:32] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:05:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:33] Speaker A: Like you said, it's a one time watch. [00:05:34] Speaker B: Yeah. For me. [00:05:35] Speaker A: And that's it I can't watch. [00:05:37] Speaker B: Yeah, what else? [00:05:38] Speaker A: I watch. I watch Scary Movie. I watch Hercules. [00:05:42] Speaker B: Hercules. [00:05:42] Speaker A: The new Hercules. I mean, I'm sorry. Why? I say Hercules Odyssey. He Man. [00:05:49] Speaker B: Oh, He Man. [00:05:50] Speaker A: The newest He Man. I'm sorry. [00:05:51] Speaker B: Oh, okay. It was on the app. [00:05:54] Speaker A: Yeah, but I think it's still in the movies. [00:05:57] Speaker B: It may be about to go to streaming. Was it clear on the app? Cause you only watched Chris. [00:06:01] Speaker A: It was clear, but the sound changed right at the beginning. [00:06:04] Speaker B: What do you mean? [00:06:05] Speaker A: You know, sometime, if it's not all the way the right thing, the sound will get like a hollowy sound. [00:06:12] Speaker B: Huh. [00:06:12] Speaker A: And I got surround sound, so I could just change it to, like. [00:06:15] Speaker B: Oh, so you could tell the sound was off? [00:06:17] Speaker A: Yeah, the. The. [00:06:18] Speaker B: The. The visual was good, but the sound was off a little bit. Okay. Okay. [00:06:23] Speaker A: So I could tell it was still a bootleg. [00:06:26] Speaker B: Okay, that's cool. [00:06:27] Speaker A: It was good. [00:06:27] Speaker B: It was really. Yeah, he was a He man person coming up. [00:06:31] Speaker A: Yeah. You know, I grew up in kind of the 80s, 90s, so he man was a big thing in the 80s. [00:06:36] Speaker B: I never got into. He man. [00:06:38] Speaker A: He man was it. I think I had the gadget, half the toys expected. Yeah. Inspector Gadget around the same time. Yeah, I had half the toys that they had on the movies. [00:06:49] Speaker B: I think it's because of what channel he man came on back in the day. I think he man came on a satellite around here. Yeah, he man and Transformers came on a satellite channel. It didn't come on a cable channel. And that's really why, because my homeboy. I remember my homeboy had a satellite and Disney Channel was on. Maybe because it was a premium channel, too, but Disney Channel came on a certain. I mean, was on satellite. My homeboy had. [00:07:20] Speaker A: And see, I didn't have satellite back. Yeah, I just had regular station. Regular. The regular five stations. [00:07:26] Speaker B: Thank you. Oh, okay. [00:07:28] Speaker A: Back then, you might be thinking about, you know, the. The remake. [00:07:32] Speaker B: No, I'm talking. This is 80s. I was. I'm six, seven years old. Oh, wow. Yeah, this. Yeah. [00:07:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:37] Speaker B: I used to go over there in the summertime when my mama was working. I would go over there, shout out to brother Davis. Brother Davis beat everybody ass one day for playing on his boat. He told us not to play on the boat, man. He beat Shout out, you know, Rip to my homie. Jeremy. Jeremy, Daddy. He beat the hell out of him playing on that damn boat, boy. He got everybody in the neighborhood. Me, I think Chauncey. Shout out to Chauncey. Nardo was over there. The whole. Everybody, man, we five Six. Don't play on my boat. We up there on the damn boat. But he caught me, Jeremy and Sean [00:08:14] Speaker A: on the boat, so y' all got it. First. [00:08:16] Speaker B: He lined us up. Well, he lied. Well, truth be told, he beat them, too. He beat his own boys and sent everybody else home. But. But he lined us up like he was gonna beat us. And he beat the hell outta them. First he beat Sean, then he beat Jeremy. [00:08:29] Speaker A: What? [00:08:30] Speaker B: And then he was like, I ain't gonna beat you, but I'm gonna tell your mama. And, you know, sent other boys, you know, down the street or whatever, you know what I'm saying? [00:08:38] Speaker A: That's the difference between down south and New York. Cause we didn't get beatings like that. There wasn't a group of beatings. But when we came down south for the summertime. [00:08:49] Speaker B: Oh, it was group B. Oh, yeah, yeah. See, it was. But see, he really didn't beat everybody. We thought we was gonna get beat. He just lined up. [00:08:56] Speaker A: He beat his own. [00:08:56] Speaker B: He beat his own and said, everybody up. But I was scared. I was like, man, them licks look like they hurt. I'm talking about when I was in high school. Brother Davis was still benching, like, £300. He was strong, man. He was a man's man. And he beat the hell out of his sons, boy. But, yeah. But, yeah, I would go over there, they would watch Transformers, and, like, he. Man, it was another cartoon. That was around that time, too. Cause, see, I. I didn't get into Transformers, but I got into GoBots. [00:09:24] Speaker A: For real? [00:09:25] Speaker B: Yeah, because GoBots came on the channel that I could watch. [00:09:28] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:09:29] Speaker B: Mostly, yeah. So I watched GoBots. [00:09:31] Speaker A: Oh, you know what? You are right. You're right. Because you know what? When I used to come down south, then they had, like. It wasn't really cable, but it was like a certain. It was like a box. So I guess that was Satellite. [00:09:43] Speaker B: No, that was. [00:09:44] Speaker A: Oh. [00:09:44] Speaker B: Oh, well, satellite had a little box, too. But, you know, back then, you had to have the big, huge dish. [00:09:50] Speaker A: Dish outside. [00:09:51] Speaker B: The big dish outside. Yeah, yeah, but we had. I had cable. Like, early, early cable, where you. You know what I'm saying? You might have had 20 channels or 15 channels or something, but. [00:10:02] Speaker A: Yeah, you right. You right. Cause, well, in New York, you just had the rabbit ears and you catching signals. You catching those signals. [00:10:09] Speaker B: Oh, I mean, we had rabbit ears here, too. People was using rabbit ears, too. But you only rabbit is here. You ain't getting no. You know what I'm saying? You just get abc, NBC, cbs. You was Just getting them to. And I only. I can't even remember what year Fox came out, but I don't remember Fox until, like, maybe middle school, close to middle school time. Like, Fox wasn't Fox. It was always ABC, CBS and NBC. [00:10:33] Speaker A: Yes. [00:10:34] Speaker B: Around here was 8, 9, and 10. It was the channels. [00:10:36] Speaker A: Yeah, we had 2, 5, 7, 2, 5, 7, 11 and 13. Yeah, 13 was, you know, the nasty channel. No, it was the Sesame Street. [00:10:49] Speaker B: Oh, pbs. [00:10:49] Speaker A: Pbs. [00:10:50] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. PBS was one, too. Oh. Matter of fact, 8, 9, and 10 was the channels on cable. But it's. And it's still like that now. So it's 13, 15, and it was still 10. 13, 15 and 10. And then when Fox came, Fox was like. It used to be 56, and then it switched to 43. So, like, if you watch Fox here, you'll hear him say, Fox 43. [00:11:10] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:11:10] Speaker B: That's like the antenna channel for Fox around here. [00:11:12] Speaker A: Oh, that's crazy. [00:11:13] Speaker B: Yeah, so. But if you hear old person, an old person to say, turn it to channel 15, they'll say 15 to 13. They talking about ABC and CBS. [00:11:21] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:11:22] Speaker B: Yeah, but. [00:11:23] Speaker A: Oh, so I know why y' all didn't get those channels. Because y' all were out in the country. See, I live. I live in the city. [00:11:29] Speaker B: What do you mean? Like cable channels? Like, Rabbit is cable? [00:11:32] Speaker A: Yeah, like, even the big dish, you had to have that dish because you out in the country, you're out in the middle of nowhere. No, they had a TV station in. In this area. [00:11:42] Speaker B: Yeah, the TV stations around here. I'm saying, like, I'm talking about as far as cable and not cable. Like, we weren't getting no cable channels. You couldn't get no cable channels on Rabbit Ears? [00:11:52] Speaker A: No, yeah, yeah, I got you. [00:11:53] Speaker B: That's what I'm. But I mean, you could get. We had rabbit ears channels. Abc, cbs, pbs. You could get them. You know what I'm saying? Like, I would go to my. Like, my neighbor. They didn't have cable, but in the morning, he would watch. He would watch pbs, like Fraggle Rock and all that or whatever. Well, not Fraggle Rock. I think Fraggle Rock was Disney. But he would watch Zubaliz Zoo. [00:12:14] Speaker A: You remember that? [00:12:15] Speaker B: Yeah, but he used to watch it on pbs because that was the only thing that. For kids early in the morning. And he would talk about it. And then I would start watching Zubalizu because he was talking about Zubalazoo. You know what I'm saying? I was like 6 years old. [00:12:26] Speaker A: What's that guy, Ben Vereen? [00:12:28] Speaker B: He was on there. [00:12:29] Speaker A: Ben Vereen. He was the only one. Black guy. [00:12:32] Speaker B: Yeah, he might have been. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But anyway, so you watched He Man? [00:12:38] Speaker A: Yeah, He Man. It was pretty good. It was good. I like Skeletor Skeleton. [00:12:42] Speaker B: Wasn't Idris Elba in it? [00:12:43] Speaker A: Yeah, he was. [00:12:44] Speaker B: Shout out to Idris Elba. [00:12:45] Speaker A: I just didn't like the way he man was getting his ass beat the whole time. Like, he was kind of wimpy. [00:12:50] Speaker B: How was it compared to the cartoon back in the day? [00:12:54] Speaker A: It was like identical. [00:12:56] Speaker B: So they did it right. [00:12:57] Speaker A: Bright colors, the same characters. [00:13:00] Speaker B: I mean, like, names, the development, the character. Like, was the characters, like, true to how it was, but then it was [00:13:06] Speaker A: just like comic or. [00:13:08] Speaker B: It was a comic back then. [00:13:09] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't. I know they end up making a comment, but. [00:13:13] Speaker B: Oh, you don't know which one. [00:13:15] Speaker A: I don't know which one came first or. It was good, though. It was pretty good. [00:13:18] Speaker B: What else you watched? [00:13:20] Speaker A: I watched. What's the name of that show? One Spoon of Chocolate. [00:13:27] Speaker B: One Spoon of Chocolate. [00:13:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Did you see that? [00:13:30] Speaker B: What's that on? I think I might have seen a. [00:13:33] Speaker A: That's a RZA. It's a RZA's. It's on Apple. [00:13:36] Speaker B: Is it a real thing? A documentary? [00:13:39] Speaker A: No, it's a movie. [00:13:41] Speaker B: A strip. It's a movie. [00:13:42] Speaker A: Fighting movie. The guy that played. Well, I got it right here. Shermack Moore. [00:13:51] Speaker B: Shamar Moore, ain't it? [00:13:52] Speaker A: Shamark. [00:13:53] Speaker B: Shamar. [00:13:54] Speaker A: De Rza. I mean, Raekwon from. From the Wu Tang series. [00:14:01] Speaker B: Oh, his name is. Because he. He plays. He's on Power now, too. [00:14:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Breeze. [00:14:10] Speaker B: Yeah, this is it, right? I think it's his name. [00:14:13] Speaker A: Shamar. [00:14:15] Speaker B: It ain't Shemar. [00:14:17] Speaker A: Shamark. Shamik. I can't pronounce that. [00:14:21] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Shame, Shame. [00:14:23] Speaker A: Yeah, he's in it. Blair Underwood. Where is Blair Underwood been, man? [00:14:29] Speaker B: He been on stuff. [00:14:30] Speaker A: Did he get blackballed? [00:14:31] Speaker B: No, he's been on stuff. He's just been in a lot of black stuff. Yeah, yeah, he. I don't think he's been blackballed. He's been in a lot of. He used to be on Sex in the City. [00:14:40] Speaker A: Oh, work. [00:14:40] Speaker B: Yeah. I want to say, but didn't he [00:14:41] Speaker A: get fired from there? [00:14:43] Speaker B: I think the show just ended. I don't know. I didn't watch it. [00:14:45] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:14:46] Speaker B: Yeah. But yeah, yeah, that's. [00:14:50] Speaker A: That's One Spoon of Chocolate. [00:14:51] Speaker B: He. He's good. [00:14:52] Speaker A: Yeah, it's good. It's. It's a racial thing. It's a racial movie. Like these white Guys in the town is kidnapping. [00:15:03] Speaker B: Oh, so it's an action movie. [00:15:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I'm gonna check that out tonight. [00:15:07] Speaker A: Yeah. He gets out of jail. His cousin gets kid. [00:15:11] Speaker B: Who is the main character? [00:15:13] Speaker A: He is. [00:15:14] Speaker B: He who? The Rizza. [00:15:16] Speaker A: Nah, Shermark Shamik is a. [00:15:21] Speaker B: Is the main character. [00:15:21] Speaker A: Is the main character. It's good. It's pretty good. Yes. It's a racially fueled kind of movie. He comes back to the. He comes to the town and it's the white against black. [00:15:35] Speaker B: That's all I got. But he ain't had no white on his side. [00:15:38] Speaker A: Nope. [00:15:38] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, that ain't true for him. We gotta have some white people on our side to win. You can't. [00:15:43] Speaker A: Oh, you know what he did? He had a little girlfriend. [00:15:45] Speaker B: There you go. It'd always be some white, some John Smith, John Brown. Now JB Always be some John Brown person on there to damn help you out. Got to help you. It might be conspiracy, might not. That's going on in the world. Shout out to Rizza for bro. Bring that up. [00:16:06] Speaker A: Yeah, it was good. [00:16:06] Speaker B: What else? [00:16:08] Speaker A: The Fury. [00:16:09] Speaker B: The Fury? [00:16:10] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a new karate kind of picture. It might have. It just hit, like, YouTube and Apple recently. [00:16:22] Speaker B: The Fury. [00:16:23] Speaker A: Yeah, last week it came out. [00:16:24] Speaker B: Who's in that? [00:16:26] Speaker A: All the Chinese people. I can't say their names. [00:16:28] Speaker B: Oh, oh, so it's Asian people. Yeah, it's like, I think I seen the previous. I think I saw. Yeah, a trailer for it. I think I saw a trailer for it. [00:16:36] Speaker A: They try to say it's the best action movie of the year. [00:16:39] Speaker B: Is it? [00:16:42] Speaker A: The fight scenes are too drawn out. [00:16:44] Speaker B: Them Asian, I don't know if Korean or Chinese, Japanese, whatever, one of them. But they fight scenes be action packed. It be fast moving. [00:16:55] Speaker A: Fast moving. [00:16:55] Speaker B: And it don't be like. You know how some people, they have action scenes, but it'll be like quick cuts all over the place. Just quick cuts and all this and that and shit. You know what I'm saying? Nah, man, keep it on the fight. Let me see how these motherfuckers move, man. Like, and some of them be good like that. [00:17:11] Speaker A: So it's too drawn out, though. That's the only bad thing. Like, the fight scenes are so long. You like, who's gonna die? Like, who? Can somebody get killed? [00:17:21] Speaker B: Like, how's these niggas not tired? [00:17:23] Speaker A: No. Like, they're hitting each other in the head with a sledgehammer and stuff like that. And they keep on going and. [00:17:27] Speaker B: Oh, you mean two. They not realistic. [00:17:30] Speaker A: Nah. [00:17:31] Speaker B: Cause some of them be a whole bunch of blocking and. [00:17:33] Speaker A: Nah, that's kicking. [00:17:34] Speaker B: I ain't no karate movie. I wasn't into that back in the day. Like a lot of black people was in like a whole bunch of the. [00:17:42] Speaker A: For real? [00:17:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Karate movies and stuff. Cause the mouse wasn't matching up and I. And I just didn't like that. I think I'm still like that to this day. [00:17:51] Speaker A: I'm like that now. Cause when I first clicked on it, it was like, you know, the high pitched, you know, translated voice. [00:17:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:17:57] Speaker A: So I'm like, it's. [00:17:59] Speaker B: It's a clip of this one. This might be the movie but. Cause this. Do we have like any scenes where they're in the office? It's some recent Asian movie and they're in an office scene and the guy walks in and he start talking and you can tell it's a black dude doing the voice. That shit is so fun. Like it's funny at first, but then you like, why can't we do the voices of these shits? Like when they doing the. The voiceovers or whatever you call it, you know what I'm saying? But it's like a black dude. It's like me saying, hey guys, why don't you come in and do to the meeting or whatever. But it's like. But it's like a. [00:18:39] Speaker A: Just. [00:18:39] Speaker B: They just super like Asian. Asian over there. Asian. What's that noise? [00:18:44] Speaker A: Oh, that's. I'm sorry, that's this. Oh, I must be hooked up to the board. Yeah, but yeah, it's a kidnap. It's another one where they're kidnapping kids and they kidnapped the wrong guy's kid. [00:18:58] Speaker B: And he go after him. [00:18:59] Speaker A: He go after them. [00:18:59] Speaker B: Word. Word. So that's three long, good three movies you watched this week. [00:19:03] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I was laying low. Laying low. [00:19:06] Speaker B: So you ain't watching no TV shows or nothing? Well, you say you caught up on Cape Fear? [00:19:09] Speaker A: Yep, Cape Fear. I'm caught up on Raising Canaan also. [00:19:13] Speaker B: I'm almost. Ah man, shout out to. So I saw the scene. Cause his dad posted it. But Blaze's cousin is in Raising Canaan. He plays what's his name? Primo. The one they had tied up. [00:19:30] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Oh, they did him dirty. [00:19:32] Speaker B: They did him dirty. So his dad shout out to Dub Dub posted it and I'm like, I know it ain't about that. And when it happened, bro, I was like, no, I felt it in my chest, man. [00:19:43] Speaker A: You saw it. [00:19:44] Speaker B: I saw that before. Cause I didn't finish the episode yet. Shout out to dub, man. Shout out to the whole family, man. I'm sitting there watching like, ooh, Shout out to. Shout out to the fan. But he been acting for a little minute. He been doing like modeling and stuff. Yeah. And he's been. But he's been on Raising Canaan, I want to say just about every season. I want to say. He's been on it every season. [00:20:05] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Yeah, I remember. Yeah, I remember you pointed him out, I guess, in the last season. [00:20:09] Speaker B: Yeah. So shout out to him, man. I was like, damn, did them dirty. That's the fan. [00:20:15] Speaker A: They did them dirty the beginning before they got him tied up. [00:20:18] Speaker B: I see. I didn't see that part. I just saw the tie up part. [00:20:21] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no, no. [00:20:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I just see the tie up. [00:20:23] Speaker A: You got to see how they got him. [00:20:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I just saw the tie up. So I. I saw it last night. But yeah, yeah. [00:20:31] Speaker A: So if you're listening, you watch the scene. He's a kid on the scooter. He was riding a scooter. [00:20:41] Speaker B: That's if they caught up. That's all. If they caught up. Yeah. But yeah, that's all you watched this week. [00:20:47] Speaker A: Yeah, I think that was it. [00:20:48] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched Race. I'm watching Raising Canaan. I ain't finished. I was, you know, trying to finish it this morning. I will find you. I finished that. [00:20:57] Speaker A: Oh, you finished it. Yeah, I got like maybe one more episode. [00:21:00] Speaker B: It was cool. It was, you know, it's entertaining. [00:21:02] Speaker A: The first couple episodes were real good. [00:21:05] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But I mean, it's just too. It's a lot of coincidences in that show, which in real life. So it kind of reminded me of Training Day. So you remember in Training Day, which is, you know, 20 something year old movie now, but remember in Training Day how Alonzo and Jake. Jake gets taken by the girl who he saved earlier. People cousin or uncle or whatever. [00:21:33] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:21:34] Speaker B: So I used to ride around playing Training Day because I had TVs in my car. And sometimes I would play the director's commentary to hear them. Because I knew the movie basically by heart. I could listen to it and know the scenes that was playing. So I would listen to the director's commentary. And in that scene, he was like, when they wrote the scene, some of the writers were like, this is too coincidental. But he was like, life is just full of coincidences. So he went on to talk about some coincidences in his life or Whatever. So every time I watch a movie and I'd be like, come on, man. That would happen. Then I think about like in real life, sometimes stuff is just a bunch of coincidence. Like you run into some people. This and that, this, that. And the third, like my homeboy, he was stationed in Japan and he went to a nightclub one night. His homeboys were like, let's go to the club. They wound up going to the club and he ran into one of our classmates in the club in Japan. [00:22:24] Speaker A: That's crazy. [00:22:24] Speaker B: Just randomly. [00:22:25] Speaker A: So I got a crazy one like that too. [00:22:28] Speaker B: Yeah, good. Yeah. But so that. That show, like a lot of the stuff that was happening, like, I was like, come on, man. But stuff like that be happening for real. Like even the. The sub. Subplot of the movie with like somebody using a seed impregnate people, like using. It was supposed to be like that stuff happened in real life. Like it's. It's been a couple of cases in real life where it's with doctors instead of using sperm from donors. They were just using their sperm and had 70 or 80 kids. [00:23:00] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:23:00] Speaker B: Out here. So. You know what I'm saying? But it was. It was entertaining. It was entertaining. [00:23:05] Speaker A: It wasn't bad. [00:23:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:23:06] Speaker A: I end up. I slowed down from watching it. [00:23:09] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:23:10] Speaker A: I slowed down. I. I was watching it faithfully at one time. [00:23:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:23:13] Speaker A: But then the last. I think the last two episodes got real kind of. [00:23:17] Speaker B: I think it's only eight episodes and it's not like it's gonna be another season. So it was a. You know what I'm saying? That's why I went ahead and finished it. Like, okay, yeah, yeah. But I was watching that. I'm on X Men 97, but I only watched one of the first three episodes they put out. So I'm gonna probably watch a little of that this week. Dashai, watch that. Another show that's just. [00:23:38] Speaker A: Is it still going on? [00:23:40] Speaker B: I think it's almost over. It's almost over. It getting kinda. Not too ridiculous, but just. I think now they're at a point where they scared to kill off main characters or who they think is main characters. So it's one character that probably should have died this week by what was going on and he didn't. House of the Dragon. [00:23:58] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:59] Speaker B: Watching that. That's amazing. That's a good show. Real good show. Real good show. [00:24:03] Speaker A: So do I have to go watch Game of Thrones and all that before I watch that? [00:24:07] Speaker B: You don't have to, but. Cause this is like a prequel to Game Of Thrones. So this is stuff that happened years before Game of Thrones, but, like, it leads up to it. So you can kind of go here and then go there. But it's really. This show is really for people that really, like, read the books, you know what I'm saying? But this person is this person in the show. This is how they related, or this family is that family in the show. And you know what I'm saying? But it's good, though. [00:24:39] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:40] Speaker B: Like you said, raising Canaan then. I just got back from the Bronx. Yeah, just got back from the Bronx, man. [00:24:50] Speaker A: So what you was. You was watching that? Did you find a feed or something? [00:24:56] Speaker B: I just got back, man. I took a red eye, I went Friday, came back, then I went. Saturday. What are you talking about? [00:25:05] Speaker A: You throw the diamond up? [00:25:06] Speaker B: I threw the diamond up, yeah. Threw the diamond up. You see, I got the pins. You say I got the rock. [00:25:11] Speaker A: I see the shirt. [00:25:11] Speaker B: You see the pins? Nah, the shirt being here, that's the paper plan. I got. I got the shirt. The anniversary shirt at the crib. Yeah, I got the pins, you know, the 30 year pins, whatever. Have you. You know what I'm saying? [00:25:23] Speaker A: Which shirt? You got the white one? [00:25:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I got a white one. It just says. I forgot he got some on the back. It got like J30 on the back. I don't think I got J30 on them. It just say reasonable dot on the back. And it got all of the track, the titles, tracking the titles. They got another one that got that says 20202001 and then 1996 and they got Reasonable Doubt tracks and all of that on there. [00:25:46] Speaker A: Okay, but yeah, on this holiday. [00:25:50] Speaker B: No, I'm saving that. I'm saving that. Yeah. I'm saving that. But yeah, Jay Z concert, I watched that last night and then. [00:26:01] Speaker A: How'd you watch it, though? [00:26:02] Speaker B: Somebody put it up on the YouTube. [00:26:05] Speaker A: You watched the whole thing? [00:26:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:07] Speaker A: Let's see how good it looked. [00:26:09] Speaker B: The sound on the first night wasn't good. How you feeling on either night? [00:26:12] Speaker A: How you feel about that freestyle, eh? [00:26:15] Speaker B: It was all right. [00:26:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:26:16] Speaker B: It wasn't as good as the other one, but yeah. [00:26:19] Speaker A: Give me a break. I don't wanna hear these freestyles no more. [00:26:22] Speaker B: That's fine. It ain't for you. [00:26:23] Speaker A: Turn the beat on. [00:26:24] Speaker B: It ain't for you Drop the beat. It's not for you. It's for us. That's for us. It's for the whole Avengers. Yeah. It's for the whole vengeance. This ain't the feed I watched. But the first night, early in the show, I think on the first song he bought out. Beyonce. Yeah, on came out the Hustle. [00:26:43] Speaker A: You see that camera that's upstairs up on the stage with him? That's the feed I want to see. I don't want to see. [00:26:47] Speaker B: No, I see that. [00:26:48] Speaker A: Besides that. [00:26:49] Speaker B: See that camera right there? It makes me think that they going to put it out just like the Black. But here's the thing, you know, they put them up on the big screen, too. [00:27:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:27:01] Speaker B: So I don't know if that's for the big screen or if they put it out, too, but somebody said they did have the crowd miked up, too. So there was mics, like, pointed toward the crowd to get the crowd noise. [00:27:10] Speaker A: Oh. [00:27:11] Speaker B: So I don't know. [00:27:13] Speaker A: I hope they do. [00:27:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I hope so, too. [00:27:15] Speaker A: Cause what. What. What concert that they had before? [00:27:19] Speaker B: Nah, they had a Black. They had the Black album backstage, and then they had. Backstage. [00:27:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:24] Speaker B: So they had to fade the back. Fade to Black. [00:27:26] Speaker A: Fade to Black. [00:27:27] Speaker B: And then backstage. That was the first one. [00:27:29] Speaker A: Those concert DVDs were good. [00:27:32] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:27:32] Speaker A: I love. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Fade to Black is on Title, I think. [00:27:35] Speaker A: Oh, it is? [00:27:35] Speaker B: Yeah. And I want to say Hard Not Life Tour is on title, too. [00:27:38] Speaker A: I watched the show last week. Did you? You remember that one? [00:27:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:44] Speaker A: They show, like, different concerts. I mean, they showed different people at the concert. They showed Wu Tang. They had. I forgot who else was on there, but I watched that last week. [00:27:52] Speaker B: Biggie was on there. [00:27:53] Speaker A: Yeah, Biggie was on there. [00:27:54] Speaker B: That's what he had. Cause he had the Me. And my remix was on that. On that. [00:28:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah. When he was on stage. [00:28:02] Speaker B: Yep. And it's a different version of Met the Man. The Red man. How high? How high? Yeah. Yep. But, yeah. Oh, so he had. So he had Beyonce come out early on the first night. She did Can't Knock the Hustle then. So this little music start playing and shit, you know what I'm saying? And we, like, you know, I'm at the crib, like, okay, this sound good? Or whatever. Then, you know, Blue Ivy come up there. She sitting out. Well, no, it show pictures of her as a baby sitting at the piano, like, tinkering with the keys, whatever, whatever. Dance music playing or whatever. And this video of her, you know what I'm saying, growing up a little bit or whatever. Whatever. Then she start playing on the piano. The shit sound good as hell, too. She good, she nice. And then you like, damn. Well, what she gonna play? What she gonna play? She start playing the keys on Feeling it and he do feeling. I was like, damn, this shit is like LeBron playing on the same team with his son. She on the stage rocking it with her daddy, playing the classic Joan, man, [00:29:03] Speaker A: she got mess with both worlds. [00:29:05] Speaker B: She do. [00:29:05] Speaker A: She do. She be on the stage with her mom. [00:29:07] Speaker B: On her mom and on the stage with her dad and like the be on stage with 40, 000 people. That's crazy, bro. I don't even like. Like, if I'm at like a wedding or something. I don't even like getting up and walking through going to the bathroom. You know what I'm saying? Like, and you're on stage with that many people. [00:29:25] Speaker A: Hey, man, you know that Dag on stadium be shaking. [00:29:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:30] Speaker A: Like. Like you could feel the vibration from [00:29:33] Speaker B: the people, like cheering and all of that. [00:29:35] Speaker A: Everything, man. Just imagine that. [00:29:38] Speaker B: Yep. So he did that later on. He bought out Jazz O. Yeah, I've seen that. He bought our Jazz O. I think that was the only people. Oh, he brought up Bleak too. Him and Bleak did. Is it can't not Can I live? [00:29:56] Speaker A: Coming. [00:29:57] Speaker B: Coming of age. Yeah, Coming of age. That's the name of it. So that was night one. He did, you know, a whole bunch of stuff. Then on the second night, he bought our Slick Rick early. [00:30:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I seen that. [00:30:08] Speaker B: He bought our Eminem to do Renegade. Pharrell came out and they did some of their songs. [00:30:15] Speaker A: Word. [00:30:16] Speaker B: And I don't know if he bought nobody else later on, but I wanna [00:30:20] Speaker A: see how that feed look. [00:30:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I hope the feed it don't look good. The first night, the person was in front of the stage so you could see everything, like the stuff they was putting on the big screen or whatever. But the second night, they were actually on the stage. So, like, it was a section on the stage, like beside the band, and that person was on the stage beside the band. And so I wonder if that's the [00:30:44] Speaker A: new seats that they added. [00:30:46] Speaker B: Might have been. Might have been. I'm gonna see if I can pull that up. [00:30:50] Speaker A: Cause they. They added new sales. What, last week, this week that just passed now. [00:30:56] Speaker B: I don't know if it was. I don't know if it was new sales. [00:31:00] Speaker A: Yeah, what it was, it was new sales because they found that they had more room, so they ended up adding more seats. Everybody talking about, yeah, he didn't sell out. He didn't do this. I seen a couple memes they talking about. They had a picture of the stadium and then they had the sky circle. And it was like, yeah. Huh. He couldn't. He couldn't sell out the sky too, you know. [00:31:22] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that shit was mad. It was jam packed both nights. Jam packed. And then he got another one tonight too, so. [00:31:30] Speaker A: Yeah, did you see the. That first night when they let out all the people? [00:31:35] Speaker B: No, I didn't see it. [00:31:36] Speaker A: Oh my gosh. [00:31:37] Speaker B: So many Yankee jerseys. Yankee jerseys and fitted. [00:31:41] Speaker A: Yeah, well, yeah, it was a whole lot of. [00:31:43] Speaker B: It wasn't. No, it wasn't. No nonsense going on though, was it? [00:31:46] Speaker A: No, no, just. [00:31:47] Speaker B: Just a little like a whole bunch of ants just piling. [00:31:49] Speaker A: A lot of people just pouring out, you know. Who was pouring out the back Pause. [00:31:53] Speaker B: Who? [00:31:56] Speaker A: Your favorite actor and Toby Maguire. [00:31:59] Speaker B: Leo. [00:32:00] Speaker A: Leo and Toby. [00:32:01] Speaker B: Leo and Toby shout out to Leo. [00:32:04] Speaker A: They hanging out together. [00:32:06] Speaker B: Calvin Candy and. And Peter Parker. [00:32:10] Speaker A: Parker. [00:32:10] Speaker B: Calvin Candy and Peter Parker. [00:32:12] Speaker A: Yeah, I've seen him. I've seen a couple other, you know, famous people. [00:32:17] Speaker B: Yeah, it was. Yeah, I saw like some. Somebody was like on threads. They were like. I think they said, like Shaq just walked past him and LeBron just walked past him or something like that. And they were standing right next to. They were standing right next to like Meg the Stallion or something like. It was like they named off like four or five stars that they was like right there beside or whatever they [00:32:42] Speaker A: somebody too, if they standing next to them. [00:32:44] Speaker B: Nah, they was just a regular person who just bought a ticket, but they was just close. [00:32:48] Speaker A: Well, you know what, What's Candy's husband named? Todd. I seen him walking through like the, you know, that Mission area, like with all the regular people too. [00:32:58] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And then some people was like, I know one guy, he was on there, he was like. He was having a bad. He had a bad night or something. And then he woke up to two tickets. To two VIP tickets. I think he's like some kind of like journalist or something. He was like. He woke up to two tickets, so he was getting ready to go to the show or whatever. So it was. I didn't expect to see like my whole threads timeline. Friday was just Jay Z, Jay Z, Jay Z, Jay Z, Jay Z, Jay Z. [00:33:26] Speaker A: My peoples went yesterday. For real last night? Yeah, last night. [00:33:30] Speaker B: Everybody who I was like, hey, man, take plenty of pictures, man. Post them pictures. Post them pictures. Yeah. [00:33:35] Speaker A: I wonder who you gonna bring out today. [00:33:38] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, for the last night. [00:33:39] Speaker A: For the last night. Yeah. [00:33:41] Speaker B: I'm gonna try to find it. [00:33:42] Speaker A: I gotta see who else he brought out yesterday. I seen Slick Rick and. [00:33:45] Speaker B: Yeah, Slick Rick. Eminem. He brought a Slick Rick. Eminem. [00:33:49] Speaker A: That's the only ones I Seen that popped up on social media. [00:33:52] Speaker B: Pharrell. [00:33:53] Speaker A: Okay. [00:33:54] Speaker B: Him and Pharrell did some songs, and he didn't bring out anybody after that. That was it. [00:33:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Barber said something that was pretty good. [00:34:00] Speaker B: What he said. [00:34:01] Speaker A: He said he might as well go ahead and bring Dame out. [00:34:05] Speaker B: Nah, Dame done. Dame done. [00:34:08] Speaker A: He done with Dame. [00:34:09] Speaker B: Dame did himself just like Kanye did himself. Kanye talked about that man child saying that man child had a mental whatever. Oh, yeah, he caught on the r word on some. On some tweets or whatever. No, man, he did that. He was done. That's why he said something about that on that other freestyle on the roots freestyle. [00:34:28] Speaker A: What'd he say? [00:34:29] Speaker B: He. He said something. I can't remember the line, but he. Like, if you. When he said it, I knew what he was talking about. I knew he was talking about him mentioning his kids or whatever. [00:34:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:34:41] Speaker B: Then. Then Dame. Cause, you know. You know, he done with Dame. When he talk about Dame, Teeth falling out his mouth. [00:34:48] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, he does what I'm saying. [00:34:49] Speaker B: He done with that one. Dane through it would have been dope if Dane was there dancing to give it to me. Doing the dance. Doing the dance. [00:34:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:57] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? Doing the dance. Dane put a video out of him dancing at the bowling alley. Nah, he was at his crib. Look like dancing. [00:35:06] Speaker A: Yeah, this was yesterday with his old lady. Oh, yeah, I did see that. [00:35:09] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:35:09] Speaker A: Recently. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me see if I probably seen it this morning. [00:35:13] Speaker B: Yeah, he should have been there. [00:35:15] Speaker A: He did make up with Beanie Siegel, though. [00:35:17] Speaker B: Who did? [00:35:18] Speaker A: Jay. He brought. He brought him out to the roots picnic. [00:35:21] Speaker B: Him and beans was cool for a long time. Yeah, he was on. Beans was on American gangster. [00:35:27] Speaker A: They fell out after American gangster, didn't they? Nah, no, they fell out before. [00:35:31] Speaker B: They fell out before. And he was on American gangster. Beans ain't. You know what I'm saying? American gangster 15 years ago. [00:35:36] Speaker A: God damn. [00:35:38] Speaker B: He was cool with a lot of. Only one he fell out with is Osino. [00:35:42] Speaker A: That's another one. [00:35:43] Speaker B: Yeah, him and Damon. [00:35:45] Speaker A: He never gonna get back with them. [00:35:46] Speaker B: Nah, Emilio, he was on one of them shows where they be, like, sitting in the barbershop talking, and Emilio was. You know what I'm saying? He ain't really saying that bad about him. He was like. He was cool, but I guess he probably living whatever he doing in his life. He taking care of himself. So he kind of, like, off it, you know what I'm saying? He look at it like that was his glory days. Whatever, whatever. [00:36:08] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:36:08] Speaker B: You Know what I'm saying? But he ain't really had nothing negative to say, but. [00:36:11] Speaker A: Yeah, Dame's still in it. [00:36:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:36:13] Speaker A: Dane he own it? [00:36:14] Speaker B: Yep. All Dame had to do was give him. Give Jay his masters. That's it. That's all he had to do. [00:36:21] Speaker A: Yeah, but you saw how Dame would act. Dame was burning bridges and you know that. That trickled onto him too. So he had to separate himself from that. [00:36:31] Speaker B: No, but I'm saying they were gonna separate anyway. Jay wanted Dame, they was gonna cut free Cool. But he wanted his masters. It wouldn't have been no fight. He would have let him get the name Rockefeller or something like that. But Dame wouldn't give him the masters. He wanted his masters and he wouldn't give it to him. So that's kind of. That what really started the real, real bad thing. [00:36:53] Speaker A: Oh, for real? [00:36:54] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. And I don't know if Jay might have blackballed him or told people not to work with him or whatever. Whatever. But I don't know if that was the case, Dame would have been and said that like, you know, he blackballed me or whatever. So. But either way, Dame should have been there, I think. [00:37:10] Speaker A: Shoot, more people don't mess with Dame because he's Dame. Then he don't even have to get blackballed. Yeah, he blackballed himself. [00:37:16] Speaker B: Really. They probably was just messing with him just cause he was attached to Jay. [00:37:19] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. You know that. You know that. [00:37:21] Speaker B: I mean, everybody else still there. Big still there. Bleak still there. [00:37:26] Speaker A: Oh, he gotta bring out Petey. Petey crack this today. [00:37:30] Speaker B: He bought out Petey Crack at Roots. [00:37:31] Speaker A: At the Roots, right? [00:37:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:37:33] Speaker A: He gotta bring him and Siegel out. [00:37:34] Speaker B: Nah, nah, we don't need them. No, no, we don't need them. [00:37:38] Speaker A: One for 2D, one for PD we [00:37:40] Speaker B: did one for Petey at the Roots. We don't need two now. [00:37:43] Speaker A: They gotta do it again, man. They gotta bring whole state property out. [00:37:46] Speaker B: He might have to do. [00:37:49] Speaker A: He gotta bring. We bay out. They gotta do what we do. They did that. [00:37:54] Speaker B: They did that they gotta do. Maybe they gotta do more black album, American gangster stuff. That's what they got to do. This one. Oh, this is another thing he did. So like, let's say like a song. Like Song Cry. Yeah, he would blend that song in with the beat of a newer song. [00:38:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I seen him do that before. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Yeah, so he did that. He blended Song Cry in with a song off a blueprint. [00:38:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I seen him do that. [00:38:24] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, he did that. He did that a lot of times on a lot of different. Or he might be saying, like, one older song, like one song off of Reasonable Doubt. He'll mix it with the lyrics off of a song from a later album and then go back and switch. Oh, that's. He bought out Nas on the first night. [00:38:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Last night. Last night, too, I think. [00:38:45] Speaker B: Nah, Nas wasn't there last night, was it? [00:38:48] Speaker A: I seen. Well, they must be talking about it from the day after. [00:38:50] Speaker B: Yeah, he bought it. He was there the first night. Cause they did, like, a blend of dead presidents in New York State of Mind. And then Nas did. I think Nas did another song. So Nas did a couple songs. Eminem did a couple songs. Yeah. [00:39:04] Speaker A: Damn. [00:39:05] Speaker B: Yep. [00:39:05] Speaker A: That's a. Yeah. [00:39:06] Speaker B: I knew I was forgetting somebody. [00:39:07] Speaker A: There's a lot of big concerts going on right now. [00:39:10] Speaker B: It is a lot of big concerts. J. Cole. Big J Cole did some Jones when he was in the stands. [00:39:16] Speaker A: Oh, word. [00:39:17] Speaker B: Yeah, he did a song like he was sitting in the stands or whatever. [00:39:20] Speaker A: I seen him. He had that car on that stage. [00:39:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I did. I saw that, too. Yeah. [00:39:25] Speaker A: Is his concert multiple nights also? [00:39:29] Speaker B: No, he's on tour. This was the opening night at his tour. [00:39:34] Speaker A: My feed been showing all sorts of concerts. It showed somebody was at a concert. Chris Brown. [00:39:40] Speaker B: And now I'm gonna tell you. Let me tell you this right here, though. But let me show you this. This the funniest thing ever I've seen. So this is that. [00:39:50] Speaker A: Oh, yes, it is. [00:39:51] Speaker B: This is that. Yes, this is that. Chris at Chris, My Usher concert. This is crazy. [00:40:01] Speaker A: Explain it to the people. [00:40:03] Speaker B: If y' all ain't seen the clip, Usher's doing his. And he go through, like, the. The, the, the, the. The. He's on this. A VIP section or something with some scriptures. He like, hold up. Is this Dave Chappelle? Dave Chappelle just pop up like. He's like. He's on. On. It look like Chappelle show. It look like a skit. It look, that skit. [00:40:25] Speaker A: He's smiling. [00:40:26] Speaker B: Yeah, he's smiling, drinking, smoking, smoking. [00:40:29] Speaker A: Throwing money. [00:40:30] Speaker B: That. When I saw it, bro. I was crying and laughing this morning when I saw that. [00:40:34] Speaker A: Yes, I did see that. Oh, look at this, man. [00:40:36] Speaker B: That is fun, bro. When he pop out, he was like, hold up. Is that. [00:40:40] Speaker A: Hey, that his face? [00:40:41] Speaker B: And you know that was real because Usher can't even sing. Watch that. Go back to singing. Look at. He laughed. Now. [00:40:55] Speaker A: Smoking. [00:40:56] Speaker B: He was laughing for real, man. [00:40:58] Speaker A: Drinking and smoking. That's how I want to be in the club, man. Look at him. He look like he having good a good time, bro. [00:41:04] Speaker B: He was so, bro. [00:41:05] Speaker A: Look at him throwing money up. Oh, my gosh. [00:41:09] Speaker B: That. That's crazy, bro. [00:41:11] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh, that's too. [00:41:12] Speaker B: That is crazy. [00:41:13] Speaker A: Look at him. He still got the same. [00:41:16] Speaker B: Look at him. He looking at it. Look at him. Yeah, that's. [00:41:19] Speaker A: He taking a sip. [00:41:20] Speaker B: Having the time of his life. [00:41:21] Speaker A: Take a sip, take a smoke. [00:41:23] Speaker B: Having the time of his life. [00:41:24] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:41:25] Speaker B: Yeah, that. [00:41:27] Speaker A: Hey, I got. [00:41:28] Speaker B: Oh, was that planned just now? [00:41:29] Speaker A: That's my new thing, man. What I'm be drinking and smoking next. I go to a club. [00:41:34] Speaker B: You got to. If you can smoke on the inside, you just gotta have a good time, man. Some of them people don't reach the point in their life where they don't. They don't worry about nothing. They just. If they. If they there to have a good time, they're gonna have a good time the way they want to have a good time. [00:41:48] Speaker A: So I was gonna ask you. [00:41:50] Speaker B: What? What's that? [00:41:51] Speaker A: Your boy's showing a lot more teeth now. Who? Jay Z. He's smiling on stage now. [00:41:57] Speaker B: He been smiling on stage? [00:41:59] Speaker A: No. [00:41:59] Speaker B: How many. [00:42:00] Speaker A: His interviews. He's smiling, he's happy. [00:42:02] Speaker B: Hold up, hold up, hold up. [00:42:03] Speaker A: How many concerts. I see. [00:42:04] Speaker B: How many Jay Z concerts have you been to? [00:42:07] Speaker A: Being at them? No. [00:42:09] Speaker B: Okay. [00:42:09] Speaker A: Seeing them. [00:42:10] Speaker B: How many have you seen? [00:42:12] Speaker A: Probably three or four. No, well, there's two came on dvd, right? [00:42:18] Speaker B: Okay, so about four or five now. Now think about those two that you've seen. One came out in 98, 99. [00:42:26] Speaker A: Okay. [00:42:27] Speaker B: Which was damn near 30 years ago. [00:42:29] Speaker A: I'm saying he's starting to smile more now. [00:42:31] Speaker B: He's been smiling. He been. Had that smile. Oh, he been smiling. Yeah. [00:42:36] Speaker A: So. All right. Did you see the. I forgot what interview they had. [00:42:39] Speaker B: This is a bad question. Go ahead. [00:42:41] Speaker A: The interview where he was talking. I forgot it wasn't gq. Dang. Oh, my gosh. [00:42:48] Speaker B: You talking the one with Kevin Hart. [00:42:50] Speaker A: No, he's by himself. He's by himself. [00:42:54] Speaker B: I think I know what you're talking about. [00:42:56] Speaker A: He's joking on it. [00:42:58] Speaker B: He does that a lot, though. Even like years ago when he was dropping the Black Album and he was talking to like. You gotta see his David Letterman interview, stuff like that. [00:43:08] Speaker A: Yeah, but that's that cheesy kind of. [00:43:10] Speaker B: That ain't cheesy. But he. [00:43:12] Speaker A: I know. [00:43:13] Speaker B: That ain't cheesy, though. [00:43:14] Speaker A: They call me hover. I know. [00:43:16] Speaker B: I don't think that's cheesy. That's just you gotta. Cause when you. When you with a certain. When you with like. [00:43:23] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:43:23] Speaker B: When you with old people, you don't have to be tough. You should just be. [00:43:26] Speaker A: It's called code switching. [00:43:28] Speaker B: Nah, I mean, it ain't. I don't think that's code switching. Like, it's a form of it. The way when you go to the strip club or you out and you with tanking them boys, the way you act ain't the same way you are when you go to your grandma house, you know what I'm saying? Like, you used to take you a softer person. So you get around some old people, you move a little different. [00:43:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with it. [00:43:51] Speaker B: No, no, I ain't saying that. Yeah, I ain't saying you saying it's wrong with it. I'm just saying it's just a different. Cause he. With a different person. [00:43:56] Speaker A: So it's a form of code switching, though. It is. Code switching don't always have to be, you know, black or white or hood or not. [00:44:07] Speaker B: For me, I look at code switching as black and white. No, no, not. Not black or white, but relaxed and professional. So you with your homies, you're not going to talk the same way you talk at work. That's how I look at it now. Part of it is black and white, but part of it is professional and unprofessional. And the way some, like, it's some white guys. I know that when we talking in meetings, they talk like that when we're not in the meetings. Like, they talk super proper and enunciate all of the words and you know what I'm saying? Like, we don't talk like that all the time. You know what I'm saying? [00:44:50] Speaker A: So when you come around, what they [00:44:52] Speaker B: say, I'll never say. You know what I'm saying? I won't never say that in a meeting. [00:44:58] Speaker A: What'd they say when you come around? [00:45:00] Speaker B: Hi, Elijah. That's what they say, you know what I'm saying? [00:45:06] Speaker A: But this is the interview I was talking about. Did you see that one? [00:45:09] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:09] Speaker A: What's that? New York, New York Times. [00:45:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw that one. [00:45:11] Speaker A: Yeah, he's relaxed in that one. [00:45:14] Speaker B: Yeah, but I mean, as you get older. [00:45:17] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:45:18] Speaker B: I feel like you don't have to. [00:45:19] Speaker A: It's showing you don't care about a lot of things when you get older [00:45:22] Speaker B: and like a lot of them a lot of times. Like if you look at somebody like Snoop, when Snoop first started, Snoop wouldn't even look at the crowd when he would perform. You know what I'm saying? But now Snoop, just. Snoop, just Snoop, he having a good time. [00:45:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:45:37] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:45:38] Speaker A: I guess you're right about that. [00:45:39] Speaker B: You know, and it's a lot of times getting older, you get more comfortable with yourself, and you just don't really care as much about what people think on certain things. You know what I'm saying? [00:45:50] Speaker A: Yeah. I was on the. I'm not saying I was unapproachable when I was younger, but I was unapproachable. Like. [00:45:58] Speaker B: What do you mean? [00:45:58] Speaker A: I had a different. I didn't smile too much. [00:46:02] Speaker B: Why didn't you smile, though? [00:46:03] Speaker A: I don't know. I guess it's the area I grew up in, why that was somewhat a form of weakness. That's how it was, you know, yo, you over there joking around and stuff, you. You know, that looked like, oh, man, look at this fool over here, man. [00:46:24] Speaker B: That's just. That's young stuff, though. [00:46:25] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. That's what I said when I was younger. I was like that. [00:46:28] Speaker B: Because if you look at the old heads, they be laughing and joking. [00:46:31] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:31] Speaker B: And smiling and stuff. [00:46:32] Speaker A: That's why I started loosening up at pause noticing, you know, yo, they stand, you know, sitting in front. [00:46:39] Speaker B: That's laughing. [00:46:40] Speaker A: Yeah. Sitting in front of the store, cracking jokes on each other. [00:46:43] Speaker B: What's up, young blood? [00:46:44] Speaker A: Look at you, boy. [00:46:45] Speaker B: Yep, yep. You know, when you young, you act like you can't laugh or smile or laugh too much or whatever. Yeah. So it's a combination of all of that. [00:46:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:55] Speaker B: But, yeah, I don't think that's that part of it. I don't think that's code switching. I just think you're not. You really not mature, younger, and you not as sure of yourself, so you gonna. And. And part of it is, like you said, the area you grew up in. So it wasn't like. Like you say, it wasn't the older people in the area you grew up in. It really was people around your age. Your age. It's your peers projecting what they thought it was to be masculine or whatever, you know what I'm saying? That's really. That's really what all that is. [00:47:24] Speaker A: You know, I think ice grills came from New York. Like, maybe ice grilling somebody grilling some. [00:47:30] Speaker B: Maybe I had to come from somewhere, from slavery. [00:47:33] Speaker A: It came from, damn, stop Rick. [00:47:35] Speaker B: And sideballing, boy. [00:47:36] Speaker A: There you go. [00:47:37] Speaker B: But stop looking at these white women. [00:47:40] Speaker A: How did it go that far? [00:47:43] Speaker B: It came from. It came from Mr. Johnson, who owned the hardware store. You walk in there, that was the original ice grill. What's that doing on that nag? That's where it came from. [00:47:57] Speaker A: You might be right. [00:47:59] Speaker B: You. You. You. You ain't from around here, are your? [00:48:01] Speaker A: Boy the grilling me? [00:48:03] Speaker B: Yeah, and he eyes. Grilling you? They just didn't call it that. [00:48:06] Speaker A: I wonder when they started calling grilling me. [00:48:08] Speaker B: They call it. They used to call it cold barbecuing. [00:48:12] Speaker A: What? [00:48:12] Speaker B: It wasn't ice grill, Was it grilling? When ice grilling, it was cold barbecuing. Cold barbecue. Yeah. We come up with a whole bunch [00:48:19] Speaker A: of shit that don't have nothing to do with what it is. [00:48:22] Speaker B: Like, who can't. Like you were saying, ice grilling. Who came up with grill for your. For your face or your teeth or whatever? [00:48:30] Speaker A: I punch in your grill. [00:48:31] Speaker B: Punch in your grill. Like you ever notice our stuff like that, that we bought up, that came today, made no sense, but now they use it. People that don't like us use it. [00:48:44] Speaker A: He snuffed them. [00:48:45] Speaker B: Snuffed. [00:48:46] Speaker A: When the last time you heard that? [00:48:48] Speaker B: I wonder why they call it snuff. [00:48:49] Speaker A: It got snuffed. [00:48:50] Speaker B: You. I heard. When I hear snuff, I think of, like, tobacco. [00:48:54] Speaker A: Yeah, the snuff. [00:48:55] Speaker B: Like the old lady, she had snuff. [00:48:57] Speaker A: A little can. [00:48:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, you ever watch white people greet each other nowadays? [00:49:05] Speaker A: Not too much. [00:49:06] Speaker B: They don't do a regular. Give me a handshake. They don't do the regular. They don't do that no more. What they do, they do the dap. [00:49:13] Speaker A: They do the dab. [00:49:13] Speaker B: They do the dab? Yeah, they do the dap, and they do the terrorist fist bump. [00:49:19] Speaker A: The old people all. [00:49:21] Speaker B: Everybody. They do the dap and the terrorist fist bump. Old people really do the fist bump. Heavy. Ten years ago, they was calling it a terrorist fist bump. Cause Barack Obama and Michelle was doing it on stage. [00:49:34] Speaker A: Hey, that dap. You know that dap. Just on the way coming here, I stopped at Harris Teeter. [00:49:39] Speaker B: Somebody dap you up? [00:49:40] Speaker A: Nah. I seen one of the students from school, so when they see me in school, it's like, oh, shit. [00:49:46] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:49:47] Speaker A: So when they see me out, it's like, oh, snap, man. What's up, man? So he came to give me a handshake, so I switched it up on him. Dapped him. Seen a smile in his face, like, [00:49:56] Speaker B: oh, he cool now. [00:49:57] Speaker A: Oh, he cool. [00:49:58] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. They. They take a lot of the stuff and. And using. And they using it now. And it's commonplace. The language and the mannerisms and all of that. [00:50:08] Speaker A: When you say they taking it, what [00:50:10] Speaker B: do you mean they taking it? It used to be looked at as negative. That's kind of like why I really don't like, like how early I was like, professional and unprofessional. It's only deemed unprofessional. Cause they say so, you know what I'm saying? [00:50:29] Speaker A: There's a place of everything. [00:50:31] Speaker B: You say that because they say that? [00:50:33] Speaker A: Nah, I say that because it really is. Like if you sit back and you in a, you know, say a office space and you see somebody come in there with, you know, the pants have. [00:50:48] Speaker B: I ain't talking about a look, I'm talking about talking. I'm talking about talking. [00:50:51] Speaker A: So you see somebody come through. Yeah, what's up my. [00:50:55] Speaker B: You cursing now? I'm just talking about talking. [00:50:57] Speaker A: Nigga's not a curse. [00:50:58] Speaker B: Nigga could be deemed. You can't say nigga on network tele. Oh, yeah. On over the air television. [00:51:06] Speaker A: Some of the things you say on there that really is deemed a curse, though. [00:51:09] Speaker B: On what? [00:51:10] Speaker A: On over the air tv. [00:51:11] Speaker B: Like what? [00:51:13] Speaker A: The P word. [00:51:14] Speaker B: What P word you've heard on over the air tv? [00:51:16] Speaker A: Pussy. [00:51:17] Speaker B: What? What? What? Where? [00:51:19] Speaker A: I don't know, but it's coming, so you watch. [00:51:22] Speaker B: Coming out over the air TV is abc, NBC, CBS and Fox. Yeah, you not gonna hear that on abc, NBC, CBS and Fox. [00:51:30] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:51:30] Speaker B: You talking about cable TV now. Cable. They say that stuff on cable, but you're not gonna hear. Pussy. [00:51:37] Speaker A: Damn is a cursey. [00:51:38] Speaker B: Damn is a curse. You hear Damn. Yeah, they let damn and hell. Maybe ass. [00:51:43] Speaker A: What about ass though? [00:51:45] Speaker B: Yeah, you hear ass. [00:51:47] Speaker A: That's a curse, man. [00:51:48] Speaker B: It is, but it ain't. What I'm saying is talking relaxed or whatever is only negative looked at negative because certain people said it is. I don't know, [00:52:08] Speaker A: I gotta see an example to bring it up. [00:52:11] Speaker B: Even the way I'm talking right now is, you know, more relaxed than I would talk in a meeting. And it's only like that because those certain people said I feel like. And they not even as articulate. [00:52:27] Speaker A: Those certain people. [00:52:28] Speaker B: That's the truth. Now. [00:52:29] Speaker A: The cowboy hats, huh? [00:52:30] Speaker B: Nah, the cowboy hat cool. [00:52:32] Speaker A: You sure? [00:52:33] Speaker B: I'm positive. I'm 100% positive. Cowboy hat, cool. Cowboy hat is. Might be one of the. He might be more cool than some of the black people at the job. I'm telling you, it's some coon. I work with some show enough coons. [00:52:48] Speaker A: Oh, God. [00:52:49] Speaker B: Yeah. I work with some show enough coons. And that shit is Disheartening. I'm talking about boot licking ass coons. [00:52:56] Speaker A: That's cause you so black, man. You are just black. [00:52:59] Speaker B: Blackity black, black. That's why I wore all black today. See, Black shorts, black sneakers, black hats, black socks. My draws black. [00:53:07] Speaker A: Your draws black? Cause well, go ahead. [00:53:10] Speaker B: I got on a white socks hat, but it represent a black organization. [00:53:18] Speaker A: I gotta see you that documentary then. [00:53:20] Speaker B: Which one? [00:53:21] Speaker A: That one I talked about last week. [00:53:23] Speaker B: The one about the monkeys? [00:53:25] Speaker A: No. Oh, I was talking about last week about the guns. [00:53:29] Speaker B: Oh, and the guy. [00:53:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I got it. [00:53:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That worked with the Black Panthers. That gave the Black Panthers the guns. Did it talk about how the reason why we got the gun laws in America? [00:53:37] Speaker A: No, I did. Don't think so. [00:53:39] Speaker B: So the Black Panthers, they read the laws and was like, oh shit, we can carry guns. [00:53:43] Speaker A: You can walk around with them. [00:53:44] Speaker B: Yeah. And they went to the fucking. They did. That's one thing that I wish we would do when we learn some laws. [00:53:51] Speaker A: Learn for real? [00:53:53] Speaker B: No, I mean they learned it for real, but not to flaunt them in white people face. Cause white people gonna take it a step further and be like, oh, y' all can do that. No, you can't. And make a law against it. They was like, well, fuck it. We ain't gonna let nobody have it if y' all can have it. And that's what they did. They made all of these gun laws. Cause the Black Panthers went to the. The capitol or some shit, some courthouse or something and had all them guns and shit. Yeah, yeah. So be strategic with your. When you wanna get over on white people, you gotta do it to where you can't do it in their face. You gotta do it behind their back. [00:54:29] Speaker A: In your face. That's it. They gonna find a new law. [00:54:31] Speaker B: Yep, they gonna make a new law. [00:54:32] Speaker A: So like, how'd you get here? Oh, you drove. Oh, you can't drive it in your car now. [00:54:36] Speaker B: Yep, yep. Just like now, you know, back in the day. Freedom of speech, this and that. Yeah, they slowly taking that away. After a while you ain't gonna be able to say cracker. Watch. They gonna take cracker away. [00:54:49] Speaker A: You just black today, man. [00:54:50] Speaker B: I'm telling you, it's people. That's. Let me tell you something. I got fired for saying nigga at work. [00:54:56] Speaker A: You got fired? [00:54:57] Speaker B: Yes, I got fired for saying nigga. [00:54:58] Speaker A: And he said it too. [00:55:00] Speaker B: He was black. [00:55:01] Speaker A: But who'd you say it to? [00:55:02] Speaker B: I wasn't even calling him nigga. I was like, man, I ain't gonna say the Situation. [00:55:06] Speaker A: He was mad. [00:55:07] Speaker B: I was upset. I was upset. But I was just saying nigga. Not as calling him a nigga, but he used that. He was like, yeah, he said nigga. I was like, ma', am, I'm black [00:55:18] Speaker A: out of the whole thing. [00:55:19] Speaker B: That was it. Yeah, I call him a motherfucker. All kind. But me saying was the one that got me fired. Yes. So, yes, we get punished for saying now, so you just keep all them crackers and all that stuff y' all be saying about white people. Just wait. The day is coming where your ass can get locked up for saying something. The rockettech cop putting them posts. You ever seen, like, somebody have a picture and it'd be like a cracker and it'd be a mad crack at the. [00:55:46] Speaker A: You stupid. [00:55:48] Speaker B: You watch, you post that. That get you locked up. You watch, you watch having a saltine at a computer with a mad face saying, this him? Yup. That's gonna get your ass locked up. I'm telling you, bro, that day come. Oh, here they come, y'. All. That's the one they do too. They be like, here they come, y'. All. I probably got that picture on this damn thing, man. This guy here, you know, we got an update on a story. What time is it? Yeah, we got an update on the story from last week. What was it like week before last when we talked about Big Tigger? Oh, yeah, and we saw that. Saw that little. [00:56:28] Speaker A: The phone. [00:56:30] Speaker B: Yeah, the phone situation. But the footage was black and white. We couldn't really see it. So some new footage has come out. [00:56:38] Speaker A: You stupid. [00:56:40] Speaker B: What? [00:56:40] Speaker A: Go ahead. I know what you. [00:56:41] Speaker B: Gary, some new footage came out. [00:56:43] Speaker A: 50 cent is nut. That's all I'm gonna say. [00:56:47] Speaker B: Yeah, so this footage came up. [00:56:50] Speaker A: I'm not stepping on Alex. I just want. [00:56:52] Speaker B: She can give me the phone and it'll be over. [00:56:55] Speaker A: She can give me the phone and [00:56:56] Speaker B: it would be over. Bro, just get over her. [00:56:57] Speaker A: She's gonna give her at all. [00:56:59] Speaker B: Give me my phone. Get off of me. Give me my phone. Yeah, calm. [00:57:03] Speaker A: He is, [00:57:07] Speaker B: bro. [00:57:07] Speaker A: Just get off her. [00:57:08] Speaker B: You can buy a new phone. [00:57:12] Speaker A: She touched. [00:57:14] Speaker B: Get off of her now. Mr. Tigger. Yeah, so? Well, that ain't the real footage, y'. All. That was something shout out to trap animation. [00:57:21] Speaker A: The funniest part was when they showed all that. Damn. [00:57:23] Speaker B: All them clothes, all the. [00:57:27] Speaker A: What's the name of that company? [00:57:28] Speaker B: Fashion Nova. This the real. This the real footage, though. [00:57:38] Speaker A: Look at it. [00:57:39] Speaker B: Look at her clothes. [00:57:40] Speaker A: I'm not stepping on. [00:57:42] Speaker B: She's been shopping Target. [00:57:43] Speaker A: She could give me the phone and it'd be over. She could give me the phone and [00:57:47] Speaker B: it would be over. Bro, just get over. [00:57:48] Speaker A: Why his voice like that? [00:57:49] Speaker B: Cause he trying to. He trying to. [00:57:51] Speaker A: Nah, his voice is off something. [00:57:54] Speaker B: No, he's trying to be calm. He probably tired from trying to wrestle his phone. [00:57:57] Speaker A: He drunk? [00:57:59] Speaker B: No, she was drunk. He said she was drunk. [00:58:02] Speaker A: Oh, for real? [00:58:03] Speaker B: Yeah, he said she's drunk. [00:58:04] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, they both drunk there. [00:58:05] Speaker B: Yeah, he said she's drunk. [00:58:07] Speaker A: It looked like it was daytime in that bit, huh? A lot of something was coming through that one. [00:58:11] Speaker B: Yeah, it was daytime. Yeah, you can drink in the daytime. You an adult. [00:58:14] Speaker A: They drunk. [00:58:15] Speaker B: Yeah. So that video came out and a lot of people were saying. The thing that I was seeing, a lot of people say was Mr. Tigger. [00:58:22] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:58:24] Speaker B: So as the week was going on, I heard a crazy story about the wife, his estranged wife. So she. She was arrested. And this story is from. What day is this? From like the 8th. The 8th said she was say. Hart county deputies located her vehicle near exit 177 on Interstate 85 and with the assistance of the Georgia State Patrol, conducted a felony traffic stop. The female driver was taken into custody without incident. Two young children were safely recovered from the vehicle. It says she was driving the vehicle and she was wanted by the Baltimore County Police Department on warrants stemming from the disappearance of a 10 year old child reported missing in 2019. According to the national center for Missing and Exploited Children, Aliah Brown has been missing since May 2019 and was last seen in the company of her mother. She was also wanted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office on felony charges of interference with child custody. Say according to the arrest warrant, she told police she and her husband were arguing on May 9th. Oh, yeah, this was the big Tigger arrest warrant. Yes. It was something like she was married before and that she was supposed to return her kid back to the father. [00:59:56] Speaker A: So that's probably the one that was filming it. [00:59:58] Speaker B: And he had. [00:59:59] Speaker A: Who? [00:59:59] Speaker B: The kid calling him Mr. Tigger. I think it was like maybe her friend or assistant or something. I don't think that was her son. [01:00:11] Speaker A: Mr. [01:00:12] Speaker B: Kid. Yeah. Call him, but his name ain't even Tigger. Yeah, his name. Yeah, his name ain't even Tigger. Like that's the crazy. But it did show a form of respect. Mr. Tigger, but [01:00:28] Speaker A: stupid. [01:00:30] Speaker B: So she allegedly didn't return the child. Like the father had full custody. And I guess it was. She had visitation and she was supposed to take. [01:00:41] Speaker A: And she bring him back that week. [01:00:42] Speaker B: She kid back and she Left and went somewhere else. [01:00:46] Speaker A: Yeah, she ain't bring him back that Monday, that Sunday night. [01:00:49] Speaker B: But I think she had, like, some other stuff. Cause people were saying, like, it's his fault because he didn't do, like a good background check before he married her. Like, see what type of person she was or whatever. So it might have been some other stuff in it. In her. In her past or whatever. But. Yeah, that was a. Before, you know, everybody was talking about their Jay Z tickets. [01:01:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:01:09] Speaker B: A lot of people was talking about Mr. Tigger this and Mr. Tigger that. So. [01:01:15] Speaker A: Mr. Ticket. [01:01:16] Speaker B: Mr. Tigger. Yeah, hopefully. You know, here's the thing. I wish that I hope that he's not abusive or wasn't abusive, which would be better. I would hope that she would just be crazy and that he gets vindicated. [01:01:31] Speaker A: They were both drunk. [01:01:33] Speaker B: No, I'm just saying. [01:01:34] Speaker A: Overall, I'm gonna give him that too. [01:01:36] Speaker B: Overall. I just hope. [01:01:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:01:38] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? Cause worst case, best case scenario, she took his phone. She should have just gave him back his phone. Worst case scenario is he was beating her ass. You know what I'm saying? So I hope for best case scenario that she was just trying to snoop in his phone and that was it. Like, it wasn't no abusive thing. And she's a liar. Cause I wanna say he already done quit his job at V103. [01:02:02] Speaker A: Oh, over this? [01:02:03] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Cause he got arrested and it came out that he was messing with his co host. [01:02:08] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I remember that. [01:02:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Definitely don't mess with your co host. Yeah. [01:02:12] Speaker A: Definitely not in this show. [01:02:14] Speaker B: Definitely not. No. Yeah, that's. I'm trying. Anything else happened this week? Nothing else really, man. Everybody just talking about the Jay Z shit. I'm sure there'll be some more news come up about tonight's show, which I don't know why I thought it was Saturday, Sunday and Monday night, but instead of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. [01:02:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:02:37] Speaker B: But, yeah. [01:02:38] Speaker A: Oh, you know what you didn't talk about? [01:02:40] Speaker B: What? [01:02:41] Speaker A: Him getting a haircut. [01:02:42] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, she cut his hair. There was a video in the first one. I don't know if they played it the second night, but video of Beyonce cutting his hair in Yankee Stadium in one of the seats. So she cut his hair. So he got his hair cut. So a lot of people speculating that mean he gonna get a. He gonna come out with another album, which. [01:03:01] Speaker A: And would you pay for that hair? [01:03:06] Speaker B: You know, in the world, especially when you growing up, going to school, they say there Are no dumb questions. [01:03:14] Speaker A: Hey, you know, don't ask me no [01:03:15] Speaker B: dumb ass question like that. [01:03:16] Speaker A: I'm telling you. But you know how much that hair gonna be worth right now? [01:03:19] Speaker B: Like, you think Jay Z would sell his hair? [01:03:21] Speaker A: No, I'm just saying you happen to be the cleanup guy who's like, oh, shit, I'm gonna put this on ebay. You know, they gonna pay for it. [01:03:28] Speaker B: I would put hair on ebay and sell it. It would be my pubes and say, it's Jay Z. [01:03:32] Speaker A: This is Jay Z's pubes. [01:03:34] Speaker B: Yeah. No, I would say it's my. It's Jay Z hair. But it's. [01:03:40] Speaker A: I thought of that when. That when they had. I think it was all the producers and security standing around them when they were finished and I seen a big pile of hail on the floor, I was like, I wonder. [01:03:53] Speaker B: You saw a big pile of hair on the floor? [01:03:54] Speaker A: Yeah, in the back of the seat. [01:03:58] Speaker B: Oh, the back of the seat where she was cutting his hair? [01:03:59] Speaker A: Where she was standing. Yeah. [01:04:00] Speaker B: Oh, oh, oh. Y' all just saw the part that they put on the. On the big screen watching it. Yeah. [01:04:07] Speaker A: More footage came out yesterday just of that. Her cutting it. I guess they were producers or security standing around them or something when they were finished. Oh, and the initial finished product when he looks over because, you know, you know, it wasn't like lined up and all that. Yeah, that's. [01:04:29] Speaker B: Yeah. But yeah, it like, it was a good packed show. I know it was packed. I know the show was. I hope they put it out, though, man. I wish they would have live streamed it somewhere. [01:04:40] Speaker A: I wish they too. Cause you know what? They used to do that with. [01:04:44] Speaker B: They used to do that with Summer Jams. [01:04:46] Speaker A: Summer Jams stopped. They stopped doing that. [01:04:49] Speaker B: J. Cole did that too. J. Cole did it a couple years. He put his concert used to be on prime for Dreamville Fest. [01:05:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, you're right. [01:05:01] Speaker B: They used to be on. And Essence Fest. One year they had a live stream on prime. Like. Like the big shows. Like, I want to say that when Juvenile and then perform on Essence Fence, that was on. [01:05:16] Speaker A: So that was about three, four years ago. [01:05:18] Speaker B: Yeah, it was a couple. It was a few years ago. [01:05:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I remember the. A lot of the R B got a lot of shine that time. Yeah, I think New Edition might have been big at that time. [01:05:31] Speaker B: Oh, you mean that Essence Fest. [01:05:33] Speaker A: Yeah, because it might have been like right after that. Yeah, the movie. [01:05:37] Speaker B: I Show up was it Show Up. [01:05:39] Speaker A: It was a series. [01:05:39] Speaker B: A sip miniseries. [01:05:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:05:41] Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't watch it you did? Nah. [01:05:44] Speaker A: Oh, it was good. [01:05:45] Speaker B: I heard everybody was talking about it. [01:05:47] Speaker A: That's why these young kids like the damn song. [01:05:49] Speaker B: Still. I don't know why I just did not want to watch that. [01:05:52] Speaker A: Well, they got a new one coming. [01:05:53] Speaker B: A new edition? [01:05:54] Speaker A: No, a new Bobby Brown. Nope, that already came out. Who? Jodeci and. And Mary J. Blige. [01:06:01] Speaker B: Oh, God. [01:06:02] Speaker A: I seen a flyer for it yesterday. [01:06:05] Speaker B: A flyer? [01:06:05] Speaker A: Yeah, like the, you know, cover art. [01:06:08] Speaker B: Oh, oh, oh, yeah. Is it going to be on a good network? [01:06:16] Speaker A: Hopefully. They said 10 part series. [01:06:19] Speaker B: Was it true or was that AI? [01:06:21] Speaker A: I think it was true because when you click on it brings you to an article instead of just a picture. [01:06:29] Speaker B: I don't know if I. [01:06:31] Speaker A: You wouldn't watch it. [01:06:32] Speaker B: I mean, I really didn't care about Jodeci enough to watch them on TV like that. [01:06:36] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. No, man. [01:06:39] Speaker B: I didn't care about no damn Jodeci. I mean, their music was good, but. [01:06:42] Speaker A: Oh my God, Jodeci, man. [01:06:44] Speaker B: Alcoholic ass nigga. I don't care about that. Mary J. Blige. Supposed to be in that, you say? [01:06:53] Speaker A: Yeah. You just said the alcoholic ass. [01:06:56] Speaker B: No, she was on crack. [01:06:58] Speaker A: No, she's on alcohol. [01:06:59] Speaker B: No, she was on crack. [01:07:01] Speaker A: She might have did crack. [01:07:02] Speaker B: Yeah, she used to do crack. Yeah. [01:07:04] Speaker A: I don't know how crackish she was, [01:07:06] Speaker B: but I mean, it's levels to the crack. [01:07:09] Speaker A: I got a family member. I think she grew up around her Mary. Yeah. So this was, you know, she was out. [01:07:16] Speaker B: I mean, maybe after she got famous, she didn't. Maybe she. I. I'm not calling her a crackhead, but she did crack. [01:07:25] Speaker A: Did she do crack? [01:07:27] Speaker B: We get. We got Google. [01:07:28] Speaker A: Yeah, it's gonna say, yeah, Mary J. Blige did crack. Free bass. But free. [01:07:35] Speaker B: Free base ain't crack, though. [01:07:36] Speaker A: So this was like 97. I was with him and he said that, you know, she was just real friendly around the neighborhood, if you know what I mean. [01:07:48] Speaker B: Mary J. Blige has been candid about her past struggles with substance abuse, which she used to cope with unresolved childhood trauma. Sexual abuse, and said she was okay. She tooted powder. [01:08:01] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [01:08:02] Speaker B: She said she tooted powder. [01:08:05] Speaker A: Oh, good. [01:08:06] Speaker B: Oh, she said she never did crack. I'm sorry, Mary. R B, Yeah. Queen of hip hop. R and B. [01:08:19] Speaker A: Hip hop, R and B. [01:08:20] Speaker B: The queen R B might be somebody totally different. [01:08:23] Speaker A: Is there a queen? [01:08:24] Speaker B: A queen of R B? [01:08:25] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:08:27] Speaker B: I don't know who the queen R B would be. [01:08:28] Speaker A: It can be. Would it be Whitney Houston? I don't think so. [01:08:32] Speaker B: I was thinking Whitney. [01:08:33] Speaker A: It can't be. [01:08:34] Speaker B: But she. She could be Mariah Carey. No, Beyonce. [01:08:43] Speaker A: Now she's. If there was a queen. Yeah, it would be her. Aretha Franklin, maybe in the 70s. Patti LaBelle maybe the grandma of R B. [01:08:54] Speaker B: She gotta be the. She could be the queen. She's still living. [01:08:57] Speaker A: Yeah, but I don't know she the Queen, though. [01:08:59] Speaker B: Patti LaBelle came to perform right now. [01:09:01] Speaker A: I'm gonna watch it. [01:09:02] Speaker B: You would know 70% of the songs. [01:09:04] Speaker A: Oh, definitely the queen.
