[00:00:04] Speaker A: Welcome back to another episode of the DJ Blaze radio show podcast. It's your boy Be easy. [00:00:08] Speaker B: It's your boy Al. [00:00:09] Speaker A: And you can catch us everywhere. You get your podcasts, including here on YouTube. L. How was your week, man? [00:00:14] Speaker B: Pretty good, man. How was yours? [00:00:15] Speaker A: It was kind of busy, but you know, we made it here. [00:00:18] Speaker B: Little holiday weekend, right? [00:00:19] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Little work, little this, little that. Yeah. [00:00:23] Speaker B: All right, well, let's get into it. [00:00:26] Speaker A: Let's get it started in here. Gossip, music, news, entertainment and heated discussions. The DJ Blaze radio show starts now. So. Yeah. What you get into this week? [00:01:07] Speaker B: Little. Little cookout for the fourth. But I said do during the week. I didn't do too much during the week. You know, the holiday weekend was coming. So you kind of lay low until the weekend gets here. But I. I didn't do anything. [00:01:22] Speaker A: Were. Yeah, I ain't doing that. But work all week. [00:01:26] Speaker B: You do any cookouts or anything? [00:01:30] Speaker A: Yeah, Saturday. [00:01:33] Speaker B: Your little pull ups. [00:01:34] Speaker A: Yeah, Saturday. But you know, during the week it was the normal. Working, watching tv. Word. Couldn't catch. My barber let me down three days. The first. [00:01:47] Speaker B: He's out of town, ain't he? [00:01:48] Speaker A: He was. I didn't know. But then he was like, I'll be back in town tomorrow. I hit him up the next day. I'm like, yo, you in the shop. He ain't never respond. And I can't just pull up. Cause I don't want to leave work and be gone. Have to sit there, wait for two hours and possibly miss a sale. So I always try to schedule it. So I schedule it for a time. I leave, I be gone. I try to be gone and back and in like 45 minutes, you know what I'm saying? And this weekend ain't last weekend ain't came to pass. This weekend ain't came to pass. So I'm kind of. I'm woofing it right now. [00:02:24] Speaker B: We gotta get that barber to start listening to the show daily. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Cause he listened from time to time. [00:02:29] Speaker B: Time to time. But he listened faithfully to Joe Button's show. [00:02:32] Speaker A: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He played. [00:02:34] Speaker B: He'll play that in the shop. [00:02:34] Speaker A: He played that in the shop. [00:02:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:37] Speaker A: Joe Button. I'm trying to think if it's another. I know, Joe. I don't know if it's another one, but yeah, but yeah, this weekend, shout out to my homeboy Ace. One of his daughters had a. So her birthday is on the fourth. [00:02:48] Speaker B: Okay. [00:02:49] Speaker A: So I'm trying to get them to switch from doing fourth of July. And we do a Juneteenth cookout, you know what I'm saying? So we did the Juneteenth cookout, which I wasn't even there, but I spearheaded it. So they did do a cookout for Juneteenth. But 4th of July, they gotta do something. 4th of July. Cause they daughter birthday is 4th of July. Ah. So they had to pull the kids in the pool. And you know what I'm saying, the fellas cooked out, whatever. And you know, it was. You know what I'm saying? But it wasn't like, no, a whole bunch of. Bunch of families and stuff. It was like a whole bunch of kids. And then the fellas, we did our thing though, so. But shout out to Ace. So Ace and my cousin. So me and my cousin got. At the same time, my homeboy Ace was doing the macaroni and cheese. So you know what I'm saying, we put in. You know what I'm saying? Whatever, whatever. So all the meat on the grill, people bringing sides. Ace in the kitchen doing the Mac and cheese. This nigga had four cans of carnation milk. And my cousin's like, hey, I know you ain't about to put all that milk in there. You about to make this soupy ass macaroni. So I'm like, hey, I ain't never seen. He was like, well, what you use? My cousin told him what he used. What you use, B? I told him what I use, but I ain't never seen that much. I'm talking about he put four cans of carnation in there. [00:04:12] Speaker B: Did it come out right? [00:04:12] Speaker A: He then he put a bunch of eggs in there. He put the cheese in there. It came out right. It came out right. He said that was his mama recipe. So he been trying to get it right, like, you know what I'm saying? His mama john. But it came out right. I can't, you know, put the butter in there, whatever. Yeah, yeah. Shout out to Ace. [00:04:28] Speaker B: He did it. [00:04:28] Speaker A: He did it and he was happy. And this dude, he talked the most trash. And I'm talking about he was going in on my cousin. Cause my cousin was the most vocal. I'm a wait and see. I'm gonna say, well, you know, I got. Hey, that's how you do. I got questions. Now you just answer my questions. I'm asking questions for knowledge. I'm not asking questions to debate or say. I do mine like this, everybody. Cause my cousin do his a certain way. His old lady do hers a certain way. My mama do hers a certain way. I do mine a certain. Everybody do It a certain way, long as the end result come out a certain way, it's cool. But his came out a certain way. So I just wanted to know, like, I've never seen that much. [00:05:10] Speaker B: Give me a number. Give me a rating. [00:05:12] Speaker A: It was probably a good seven. [00:05:16] Speaker B: Okay. [00:05:17] Speaker A: It wasn't. [00:05:18] Speaker B: Sevens were strong. [00:05:19] Speaker A: Yeah, seven was a strong Mac and cheese. Yeah. It could have had more cheese in it, but other than that. [00:05:23] Speaker B: How long it take him to make it? Like, when you seen him making it, [00:05:26] Speaker A: he was putting out. So he done took the. Took the noodles out and stuff. I don't know. I don't know. Cause we was outside doing stuff like sitting on the porch or whatever. [00:05:34] Speaker B: So I was gonna say if he. He did something with that carnation milk and that was ready in an hour, I was like, oh, okay. [00:05:43] Speaker A: I mean, it was regular bake time. [00:05:44] Speaker B: Little bake time. Regular. [00:05:45] Speaker A: Regular bake time. Okay. You know what I'm saying? He put a whole bunch of eggs in there. That what. Kind of threw me off too. But, you know, it was good, though. [00:05:53] Speaker B: Sometimes you just can't see the. The makings of it. [00:05:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean. Yeah, I just. But, you know, we were talking about the egg. How many eggs you put in? Some people do put eggs, some people don't. Whatever. Whatever. [00:06:03] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. It threw me off. I wouldn't. I wouldn't have had none. [00:06:06] Speaker A: You wouldn't have had none? [00:06:07] Speaker B: Nah. [00:06:07] Speaker A: Why? [00:06:08] Speaker B: Cause certain things are throwing. If it throw me off, then I'm. I'm all the way out. [00:06:12] Speaker A: How it throw you out? But, like, how would it throw you off? [00:06:14] Speaker B: Like, looking at it like, yeah, that's gonna fuck my stomach up. [00:06:18] Speaker A: Egg will fuck your stomach up? [00:06:19] Speaker B: Nah, just the carnation milk. Or just, you know, certain things. [00:06:23] Speaker A: Okay, I pay attention. You eat Mac and cheese? [00:06:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:27] Speaker A: You make Mac and cheese? [00:06:29] Speaker B: Nah, not really. [00:06:30] Speaker A: Have you ever made it? [00:06:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:32] Speaker A: What you put in yours? [00:06:35] Speaker B: Maybe one can of carnation milk. [00:06:38] Speaker A: But you do use carnation milk? [00:06:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:39] Speaker A: Do you put an egg in it? [00:06:40] Speaker B: No. [00:06:41] Speaker A: Okay. [00:06:42] Speaker B: I never did egg. [00:06:44] Speaker A: What else you put in other than noodles? [00:06:47] Speaker B: Butter, milk, couple different cheeses. [00:06:53] Speaker A: Okay, that might be it. All right. [00:06:57] Speaker B: That might be it. [00:06:58] Speaker A: So they were saying, like, because of all that milk, you need the egg to bind it. But if you don't put a lot of milk in it, then you don't need. [00:07:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay. The eggs. [00:07:07] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So all that milk probably is why he had to put all that cheat all them eggs. [00:07:11] Speaker B: I got you. I ain't no cook. Different people. [00:07:15] Speaker A: It was a debate on social media about putting an egg in your Mac and cheese. Like, does it do anything? But it had to do something with all them down, all them milks in there. Cause he put a ass of eggs in there too, so. [00:07:28] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:07:29] Speaker A: Yeah. But I don't know if it. I mean, it tasted good, you know, some you ever had, like, macaroni and cheese, and it'd be kind of like. You can tell it's done, but the stuff just not holding together. And then some macaroni cheese, like you can like. Basically it's like a cake almost. You can cut it and it's just. His was more like the thick cake, you know what I'm saying? Kind of like somebody grandma make or something. You know what I'm saying? [00:07:51] Speaker B: So, see, I just found out recently that my mother put eggs in her lasagna. [00:07:57] Speaker A: Hmm. [00:07:59] Speaker B: With a mixer. I don't want to give the secret [00:08:02] Speaker A: out in what part. [00:08:05] Speaker B: She does, like a mix of ricotta, the cheese and stuff like that. And that's what, you know, she'll put the egg in that. [00:08:15] Speaker A: A lasagna costs a lot. Oh, yeah. You got about all them cheeses. Meat, pasta. Yeah. [00:08:21] Speaker B: My mother specialized in, like a daggone big. It's a big pan. She used a certain pan to make [00:08:28] Speaker A: all the lasagna in big lasagna. She put sausage in her, too. You eat pork? [00:08:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I eat pork. [00:08:33] Speaker A: Okay. She don't put sausages in her meat, though. [00:08:35] Speaker B: Nah. Just regular ground beef. [00:08:37] Speaker A: Yeah, some people. Some people would put sausage. [00:08:40] Speaker B: Sausage is good in it. [00:08:41] Speaker A: I like it. [00:08:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I like it. [00:08:42] Speaker A: I don't like ricotta cheese, though. [00:08:43] Speaker B: You don't? [00:08:44] Speaker A: Nah. I'll eat it in lasagna, you know, if it's there. But if I can get a lasagna with no ricotta in there, you know, Sound good? [00:08:50] Speaker B: I think the real authentic lasagna has got ricotta cheese in it. [00:08:55] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:08:55] Speaker B: I don't think I like, really seen like a. [00:08:58] Speaker A: A good. [00:08:58] Speaker B: Good lasagna, you know, a lot of people. Oh, that's lasagna. And it don't be. It kind of be flat and. [00:09:04] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:09:05] Speaker B: It's just the meat, the cheese on top of each other. The noodles. [00:09:08] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:09:09] Speaker B: Those aren't as authentic as I look at lasagna. [00:09:13] Speaker A: Yeah. What about you? You did a. You say you did a cookout too? Not. [00:09:17] Speaker B: Not really. Me and Randy put some stuff on the. [00:09:19] Speaker A: Oh, your bro. [00:09:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:21] Speaker A: Shout out to Lil bro. [00:09:22] Speaker B: Lil Randy. [00:09:23] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:23] Speaker B: And that was it. I ain't light no fireworks off. [00:09:26] Speaker A: You did. Oh, that's another thing, these nicks. So it was people up the street, on one end of the street, it's your street, shooting fireworks. They started early. [00:09:34] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:35] Speaker A: And then a little while after that, on the other end of the street, some other guys were shooting fireworks at they house. Hayes and my cousin. Them niggas must have spent like 6, $700 on fireworks. Oh, word, man. I'm talking about. They was going. I was. They started shooting fireworks and they were shooting fireworks straight for like 40 minutes. And I was like, okay, this is all right. I'm about to go. I left and went home. And it was still like a big, big pile of fireworks. [00:10:04] Speaker B: It was probably having fun when you still left. [00:10:06] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that was. That's his thing. He loved fireworks. I'm talking about. He was shooting fireworks. He shot one of them things. It's one firework. It like shoot off the sparks, it spin and then it shoots. [00:10:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:10:16] Speaker A: I don't know what you supposed to put that in to make it not be deadly. [00:10:20] Speaker B: Oh, the little. It looked like a little pill. [00:10:22] Speaker A: I don't know what it looked. I don't know how it looked like, like when he. [00:10:25] Speaker B: When you. [00:10:26] Speaker A: Before you light it. But I just know he lit one. It shot. I was like, okay. And he did another one and it shot like behind the house. I'm like, hey, bro, watch out. He shot. He did another one and he threw. Landed right by my cousin tyya on his $80,000 truck. It spun and shot up in the truck in the engine. My cousin was like, hey, all right, Bo, you about to have an expensive firework bill now. I don't know if it affected the truck or not. That was like before it got real dark, you know what I'm saying? Then they started going off, you know what I'm saying? And then it turned into a battle between this end of the street and that end of the street. And they shooting fireworks and they got the big displays and the. You know what I'm saying? The rockets red glare was out that mug. [00:11:18] Speaker B: I think if I lived in like a neighborhood or something like that. [00:11:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:21] Speaker B: That participated in it, then I would have the fireworks spirit like I had when I was younger. [00:11:27] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:11:28] Speaker B: I don't have that spirit no more. Like, you know, growing up in New York, fireworks is like a thing like one block from the other block. They trying to outdo each other. Yeah. So it's like, you know, a lot of people outside shooting stuff, barbecues and stuff like that. So it's a different vibe. You can kind of Walk to another barbecue and stuff like that. So it's a little different from. [00:11:50] Speaker A: But is it people, you know? [00:11:52] Speaker B: Yeah, you know, especially if it's like neighborhood, like, you know, most likely, you know, the people that live around the corner from you. [00:12:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:12:00] Speaker B: Or, you know, a couple blocks away from you. Something like that. So, you know, it's just a little different from when I was younger. [00:12:07] Speaker A: So where you live? No shooting fireworks going on? [00:12:11] Speaker B: No, not at all. We was out in the country. There was a little. Oh. [00:12:14] Speaker A: Oh, you was out there? [00:12:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Really out there. [00:12:18] Speaker A: I was kind of nervous, too. Cause I don't know if it rained enough these past for the dry grass. Yeah, well. And the trees. Cause I'm talking about they was shooting this stuff, like, go way up in the air and stuff would fall down. You see it in the trees or whatever. So I was like, man, I don't want nothing to happen. But, you know, I ain't heard no news, so I guess everything was cool. But. [00:12:37] Speaker B: So last year. What's that? He's not a rapper. I don't know if he's a rapper or just a gangster on the Internet, 4xl or something like that. He lost his hand. Lost like, half his. [00:12:49] Speaker A: Oh, it was on video, too, right? Yeah. [00:12:51] Speaker B: You remember that? [00:12:51] Speaker A: Yeah, I remember that. [00:12:52] Speaker B: So this year I seen, you know, Traxxas, the jewelry guy. [00:12:57] Speaker A: I don't know him. I might have seen him before. [00:12:59] Speaker B: He's a jewelry guy. He goes out and doing certain thing. Hey, if you guess how many grams this is, I give it to you. And he's walking around Manhattan giving out jewelry and gold pieces and stuff. Well, he did the same thing. He had, like a little lit thing, tried to drop it in the tube and fizzed off and blew off in his hand. It didn't blow his fingers off or anything like that. Just burnt him. [00:13:19] Speaker A: I'm traumatized. I was like, six. [00:13:21] Speaker B: I know. [00:13:23] Speaker A: Yeah. I got a little thing on my. You can't see it now, but it's still a little brown mark on my thumb from the little firecracker. But it's an NFL player. John Jason Pierre Paul, he played for the Giants. And he blew up, like, all he got left on his. It looked like this. I could pull it up. [00:13:42] Speaker B: That's like that 4x guy. [00:13:44] Speaker A: That. [00:13:44] Speaker B: That's crazy. It feel like we just talked about him blowing his fingers off. [00:13:49] Speaker A: Who, J. Oh, well, I mean, it was last year. [00:13:53] Speaker B: Last year. It went by quick. [00:13:55] Speaker A: And that happened. You sure it wasn't two years ago? [00:13:58] Speaker B: Nah, it was last Year. [00:14:01] Speaker A: Yeah. Is it Jason Pierre Paul? Yeah. And when you pull it up on social media, it just says, Jason Pierre Paul hand. Let me see if I. Well, this is the best picture I can get, but you get it. [00:14:16] Speaker B: They're not gonna show the picture. Picture, though. [00:14:17] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm showing the picture. [00:14:18] Speaker B: Picture. I don't wanna see that. [00:14:19] Speaker A: I mean, that's healed. That ain't even not healed. That nigga got a claw. Yeah, that's healed. [00:14:25] Speaker B: You leave it on the screen, too. [00:14:27] Speaker A: Yep. Yeah, that's as a warning. I was showing that. Everybody, too. I was like, all right, Ace. You can be like Jason Pierre Paul. And I was showing them. Cause you can tell somebody like, yeah, that nigga blew his hand off. Whatever, Whatever. And people won't believe you until you see his hand blew off. [00:14:44] Speaker B: Yeah. You know what? They always said that when I was young. Yeah, you gonna blow your hand off. And, you know, you'll hear a lot of ambulance in the neighborhoods and stuff like that for accidents, but I never really seen one until, like, last year with that guy on ammo. [00:14:59] Speaker A: Yeah. And now, like you said, that Joan was on video. [00:15:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:05] Speaker A: So with it being on video, you could see it, but people still won't believe it. You know what I'm saying? [00:15:10] Speaker B: They still gonna do it. [00:15:11] Speaker A: Yeah, people still throwing it. It's gonna be somebody that did Jason P. Had Paul their hand. Yep. [00:15:21] Speaker B: Hope it ain't me. [00:15:22] Speaker A: Yep. Nah, I hope not either. [00:15:26] Speaker B: It ain't me. It ain't me. [00:15:28] Speaker A: Don't throw fireworks. [00:15:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm not gonna hold. Certain things don't hold fireworks. [00:15:31] Speaker A: It was a video of. I forgot what city it was. But, like, it's always, like, where the fireworks go off with them all being piled together like something catch fire. [00:15:41] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. [00:15:42] Speaker A: But it was one, like, supposed to be at a tent somewhere. But they like AI, though. [00:15:46] Speaker B: That was AI. [00:15:47] Speaker A: It looked like it was AI, and it was a white tent and all the guys running. Yeah, I think that was real. [00:15:53] Speaker B: Oh, for real? [00:15:53] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it was AI, because it was. You could hear women screaming, but there was no women in the video. It was all men running. Then one guy running, run past, and he like. [00:16:02] Speaker B: I didn't see that part. [00:16:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:03] Speaker B: But I saw the white. It was a white tent. They had the fireworks sign right outside the front of the tent. I forgot, like, this morning. [00:16:10] Speaker A: Yeah, I saw this morning, too. That's why I thought it was AI. [00:16:12] Speaker B: Oh, shit. [00:16:13] Speaker A: And it wasn't like a news report either. It was just a thing. [00:16:17] Speaker B: But I guarantee, if we go through the news. [00:16:19] Speaker A: It's gonna be something. [00:16:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:21] Speaker A: Either a house catch fire. That was one, too. It was one where a house few years ago with a. They had all the fireworks under the garage, right by the garage, and the fireworks just started going off. Just all. It was crazy. They had a good amount, too. They spent hundreds of dollars, too. [00:16:35] Speaker B: Oh, man. [00:16:36] Speaker A: Yeah. And I wanna say it burnt the house. [00:16:39] Speaker B: I watch a video. It was like a little kid. He might have been like three, maybe four. He was holding a Roman candle. You know, you Roman candle, you shoot it, you know, so they lit it while he holding. He gets scared. He's running with the thing. He runs in the house with everybody. All you see is that. [00:17:01] Speaker A: That happened. That almost happened. Because the Roman. So Roman candles, if you hold it up in the air, how high did they go? [00:17:08] Speaker B: I mean, let's say 10ft. [00:17:12] Speaker A: All right, so whatever these were. That they. They light Roman candles, like, they just like, douche, douche. And they shoot up. [00:17:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:17:18] Speaker A: But they was going 20ft in the air. Super high. Yeah, Super High. Maybe 30ft in the air. So my homeboy was doing it then. Some of the kids did it. Now. Some of the kids. Like, some of the girls was like, eight. My cousin, daughter, she was kind of scary, so I don't know if, like, the thing got back in her face or whatever, but while she was doing it, it kind of came back and she dropped it. And my cousin's like, help her, help her. Just irresponsible adulting going on, man. Y' all be safe out there with them fireworks, man. [00:17:54] Speaker B: I got one thing. It got like. It's a big roll of Roman candles. Yoshi gave it to me. Shout out to Yoshi. [00:18:04] Speaker A: I was just about to mention relationship status. Yeah. [00:18:07] Speaker B: Podcast. [00:18:08] Speaker A: And he got two. He had two firework stands this year. [00:18:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like, you know, it's. I don't know how many is in there. I didn't shoot it off yet, though. It's in the car. [00:18:16] Speaker A: He ain't gave me nothing. [00:18:17] Speaker B: It just happened to have it in here. He was like, man, look at this. I was like, oh, snap. He was like, yeah, you want to go ahead? [00:18:22] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:18:22] Speaker B: This is like two weeks ago. [00:18:23] Speaker A: Oh, this is. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay. I'm about to say you got. You got something. You know what I'm saying? To give off now. You know what I'm saying? I shoot it off. [00:18:32] Speaker B: Paul, he opened today? [00:18:33] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, he just left. [00:18:35] Speaker B: He might have to go get some. [00:18:36] Speaker A: Yeah, he probably trying to finish out whatever left. [00:18:38] Speaker B: I need to hit that 70 off sales. [00:18:41] Speaker A: Yeah, give me one of them then. Then you can say I. But see, I be scared about storing that stuff for next year. Like, what if just something. Just something. [00:18:48] Speaker B: The. [00:18:49] Speaker A: The atmosphere in your house get just right for that shit to just. [00:18:52] Speaker B: You ain't keeping it in your house. Go off. [00:18:54] Speaker A: Where else I'm gonna keep it? [00:18:56] Speaker B: A storage or something like that. [00:18:58] Speaker A: I ain't paying for no storage. Just to keep two fireworks in there. Yeah, but other than, you know, you did that with your family, what you watch this week? [00:19:08] Speaker B: Oh, man, I watch. I watch a couple documentaries. [00:19:11] Speaker A: Okay. [00:19:14] Speaker B: I watched one. You probably like this one, Negro with a Gun Never. It was on YouTube. And it's about a guy named Robert Williams. And he basically was like, the enforcer in the area. Where were they at? They were. Ooh, where was they? Either way, it's kind of started. It started where the Black Panthers. You know, it started right before the Black Panthers. [00:19:45] Speaker A: It was in the same area. Yeah, I wanna say the Black Panthers started in Oakland. [00:19:49] Speaker B: Oakland. [00:19:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:19:50] Speaker B: So that's. That's where, you know, it was. And he was the man with the guns. And so they ended up getting all the black people together and stuff like that. It was a good documentary. [00:19:59] Speaker A: What happened to him? He got killed. [00:20:02] Speaker B: I didn't go all the way to the end. I watched a good, you know, 40 minutes of it, if that, but it was pretty good. I watched that. Killer Confessions, Another documentary is HBO Max, but I think they had it on YouTube. I mean, I think they had it on Netflix. It was about a. A guy they. They suspected to be a serial killer. And he was in jail for, like, one of the murders, but they wanted him to confess to the other ones because there's like, four other ones he was connected to that. They couldn't prove it. They had this Texas Walker kind of Ranger guy. He's known for, you know, sharp clothes and fancy, you know, fancy cars and fancy hats and stuff like that. So he's supposed to be real good to get. They want him to get a confession out of him before he's getting ready to get released. He's getting ready to get released for one of the murders. So they need a confession to keep him in there or give him the death sentence. So that was pretty good. That was real good. He was connected, like five or six murders. [00:21:12] Speaker A: You say that was called Killer Confessions? [00:21:16] Speaker B: That was pretty good. What else? I. Cape Fear. Keep Fear is getting crazy now. [00:21:23] Speaker A: Oh, so is it. Are all the episodes out? [00:21:28] Speaker B: No, it comes out on Tuesdays oh, okay. Come out on Tuesdays. That was. [00:21:33] Speaker A: And that's on what? [00:21:35] Speaker B: That is on eight. No, no, that's not Hulu. It gotta be Paramount then. [00:21:48] Speaker A: Okay. [00:21:48] Speaker B: It gotta be Paramount. Matter of fact, I'll tell you. I'll tell you in a second that a big twist came on that one. [00:21:58] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a few people that's. I know that's watching that. [00:22:01] Speaker B: Oh, they are? [00:22:02] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:22:03] Speaker B: A lot of people. They haven't. People I know they haven't seen it yet. It was like, oh, the movie. Cause, you know, they had the movie back in the day. You know, they redid the movie twice, matter of fact. But something changed up this last episode. That's all I'm gonna say. Yeah, you think it's, you know, a certain person, but something, you know, it's a big switch up. And what's that? Let me see. Kate. Fear is one. I tell you. K Fear. That is Apple. [00:22:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:37] Speaker B: Apple tv. So, yeah, you know, it's a good one. I watched Bow Wow's Tiny Desk. [00:22:45] Speaker A: Yeah, did you watch it? Well, I mean, they played it right before the BET Awards started. [00:22:51] Speaker B: Oh, they did? Oh, okay. Okay. I don't know if I talked about the Hulk Hogan documentary. It's called Real America. It's pretty good. [00:23:08] Speaker A: I think that was out a while. [00:23:09] Speaker B: That's what I thought. But I never watched it when people was talking about. Cause I think it came out before he died. [00:23:19] Speaker A: Yeah, unless. Unless it just came out because. So it was another. It was another podcast that was talking about how about his career or whatever. So it might have been something that just came out. I know they mentioned him in that Vince McMahon one and they were saying how, like, he. The. The wrestlers back in the day wanted to start a union and he basically got them to not do a union. Oh, he got bean bread. [00:23:43] Speaker B: So you still be the bean man. [00:23:45] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was good. [00:23:47] Speaker B: It didn't have any of that tarnishing Hulk Hogan stuff on there, but. [00:23:52] Speaker A: Oh, it was all good. [00:23:53] Speaker B: It was all good. [00:23:54] Speaker A: I ain't wanna see that. I wanna see the real. I wanna see the real. [00:23:58] Speaker B: It was. They showed, you know, him and Vince getting into it a little bit, why he left and, you know. [00:24:06] Speaker A: Yeah, I wanna see the real. Talk about all of it. Yeah, I'm sure. Had the part when he said niggas and he didn't want his daughter dating one. Should have put that part in there. [00:24:19] Speaker B: Well, and he's in this one, so. It's before he died. Oh, it's before he died. And worst neighbor Ever. [00:24:27] Speaker A: Another documentary. [00:24:28] Speaker B: You seen that? [00:24:29] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a series. They got like two seasons. Oh, for real? On Netflix? Yeah. [00:24:34] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So I just started it yesterday with the first. The first. First episode. [00:24:39] Speaker A: Yeah, they got a few. Cause I want to say. Is it Netflix? Yeah, yeah, I want to say it's Netflix. One season is on Netflix. But it's another show like that on. On hbo. Max. Cause I remember one episode was like this lady had to build a wall. Cause the guy across the street was like watching her and. But I don't know if that's worst neighbor ever though. I forgot what that's called though. [00:25:08] Speaker B: I must see. [00:25:09] Speaker A: But yeah, I know it's on Netflix though. I want to say it's two seasons of it. [00:25:12] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:25:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:14] Speaker B: And you know the BET Awards. But I guess we get into that after. Cause I know you watch that too. What you watch. [00:25:20] Speaker A: So it's one. It's a series that's out now called I Will Find you'd. A lot of people have been talking about that. It's been out for a couple weeks. [00:25:26] Speaker B: How you like it so far? [00:25:28] Speaker A: It's entertaining. You know, this is one of them shows where most of this stuff probably wouldn't happen in real life, but it's entertaining. I think I'm on like episode three or four if you, you know, old like me and used to watch cartoons back in the day. X Men 97 is back. [00:25:49] Speaker B: Oh, it is. [00:25:50] Speaker A: Yeah. They did a three episode premiere for the second season. [00:25:55] Speaker B: What's that on? [00:25:56] Speaker A: That's on Disney. [00:25:57] Speaker B: Okay. [00:25:58] Speaker A: Yeah, I will find you. That's on Netflix. A lot of people have already watched it because it's been out for a few weeks. [00:26:03] Speaker B: Yeah, a lot of people been talking about that. [00:26:05] Speaker A: Yeah. And it's still like, you know, one or two. I'm watching the show. I haven't finished this week's episode yet. But it's just. It's. [00:26:18] Speaker B: It's almost over. [00:26:19] Speaker A: Yeah, it's almost over. I'm gonna finish it. I'm not going to disparage it. Shout out to the people that's acting on there, whatever. I think it's just. I don't know if it's the direction or the riding or what, but they really could. Could have took this show a different way. I haven't watched. I'm gonna watch Raising Canaan probably today. [00:26:37] Speaker B: Yeah, that's when I watch mine also on Sundays. [00:26:40] Speaker A: Yeah. I try to watch it early so I can, you know, mention it on here. But I didn't get the chance. Cause I was Doing a lot of back and forth and moving and stuff. The weekend House of the Dragon that comes on tonight, but I'm all caught up. [00:26:52] Speaker B: But you like that show? [00:26:53] Speaker A: Love it. That's good acting. Good. Good cgi, whatever. Good. That show. Good, man. [00:27:01] Speaker B: So was you into Game of Thrones? [00:27:04] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:27:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:27:05] Speaker A: All the Game of Thrones shows that then came out. Night of the Seven King Kingdoms, Game of Thrones. Now I'm watching this. Yeah, I'm all in. I haven't read. I never read the books though. But yeah, I started doing for some reason I just wanted to do. So I just like, if I'm doing something in the house. I started Atlanta over. [00:27:28] Speaker B: I did that probably last year and got to the third or fourth episode and stopped. [00:27:34] Speaker A: That show is so good from. You gotta watch that though the beginning. And it's little tidbits of stuff that they've been. So on the second episode, paper boy was on the couch watching TV and it's a commercial playing in the background. So like two episodes later, the commercial he was watching plays and it's the cartoon commercial with the wolf trying to get the cereal and the cop. And the cop. [00:28:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I remember that. [00:28:02] Speaker A: Yeah. So that commercial, he's watching that commercial earlier on in the episode, like, little stuff like that. Or like in one episode, Earn had to take Lottie on the bus. And it's a guy on the bus that offer him a Nutella. [00:28:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:18] Speaker A: Sandwich and a juice or something like that. About two episodes later, that same guy does a commercial for him, like to help people, and he say something about Nutella or whatever, but then the dude, like, disappear into the woods. He disappear off the bus and then he, like, wander into the woods or whatever. But that same dude is later on in another episode, like, little stuff like that. But that showed, man, that show was good from the. From. From the first episode. [00:28:41] Speaker B: Oh, man. So you like little hidden stuff like that. Do you think you'd be able to write little hidden stuff like that? [00:28:48] Speaker A: No, I ain't creative like that. No, no. It would have to maybe if I had like a team of people or whatever. But I don't know. But it. [00:28:59] Speaker B: What if you like. Really? Cause I know you. I know you got your book and stuff like that. You write down in your book, do you journal? [00:29:06] Speaker A: No. [00:29:08] Speaker B: So what if you just like, kind of like, sat in a room and just like, really started writing stuff out? [00:29:13] Speaker A: I don't know. I don't know. I don't think so. Yeah, I'm good at like, reading stuff other People do and learning that kind of way. But I don't know if I'm. I wasn't never like a creative writer, that type of person. [00:29:26] Speaker B: Can you see certain, like, things in your head, like stories? Like sometimes. Because like, sometimes I'd just be sitting here, be like, man, I wonder if somebody just kicked in the door and did this and this, that. Do you see stuff like that in your head? No. Okay. [00:29:41] Speaker A: No, that's why, like, you know, like. So like, on. I give an example. Like on Yoshi show Relationship status, they would do, like, advice. But then, like, when they would, like, one of the co hosts would be giving advice off of the question letter with an advice letter. [00:30:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:30:01] Speaker A: The stuff that they would be saying will be stuff that's not even. They will make up a whole scenario about the question that was asked. But I'll be listening. Like, you can't say that because they. You only can go off the information they gave you. Like, I don't get. I can't. I ain't good at, like, putting these scenarios this, that and the third. Or like, say, like, you know, saying, you asked my Game of Thrones. Like, if we watching Game of Thrones and you try, you'd be like, in an episode golf, you'd be like, what you think will happen next week? I don't know. [00:30:29] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:30:30] Speaker A: I don't know. You know what I'm saying? This might happen or that might happen, but I'd be like, I don't know. So I don't. I don't believe I could, like, come up with a. For one. I don't think I could write a story anyway, especially fiction. And then I don't think I can [00:30:46] Speaker B: put [00:30:49] Speaker A: hidden messages in it while Easter eggs in it throughout. [00:30:53] Speaker B: That's what I was thinking because, like, really I'm. I sat and I thought I'm really getting ready tackle, like, storyline stuff. [00:31:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:03] Speaker B: You know, we're working on the SIM Office Chronicles. I mean, the SIM Chronic. The Office Chronicles. I'm sorry, and which is gonna be like a. A virtual show, a vertical virtual show, like, you know, you see on your phone and stuff like that. And we always write in storyline stuff, but I wonder if, like, if you had some ideas of like, little Easter egg stuff to use for it. I think that would be dope. [00:31:33] Speaker A: Oh, oh, you mean me personally writing some stuff? [00:31:36] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:36] Speaker A: Oh, oh, that's what I mean. I mean, I could. I maybe could this boy put me on the spot. But my stuff might be so intricate until, like. So like, on certain Shows, like, it'll be like a number on, like, an address on the house or whatever. [00:31:55] Speaker B: Yep. [00:31:56] Speaker A: And people will be like. They go back and look and be like, oh, you know, that was such. And such and such. [00:32:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:32:01] Speaker A: Or whatever. You know what I'm saying? [00:32:02] Speaker B: So you catch all that stuff, though? Most of the time? [00:32:06] Speaker A: No, most of the time, it's like I'm reading something that somebody said or whatever. Like something that's something. Something talking about it, and they'll mention it on something else. [00:32:19] Speaker B: Okay. [00:32:20] Speaker A: But, like, if I go back and watch. If I go back and watch the show, like, I'm going back and watching Atlanta and you know what I'm saying? [00:32:30] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:32:31] Speaker A: I did catch some stuff in snowfall, though. Cause, like, in snowfall, knowing that stuff, like, it was based on real stuff, certain things people would say, I would look it up and then I would see, like, oh, they were referencing this. Or they were referencing that. You know what I'm saying? [00:32:49] Speaker B: I thought because my vision of you always, whenever you. Most of the things that you like, you like, you tapped in it like nothing else could be happening over here. Nothing else. So you kind of be focused on a storyline, movie. So I thought maybe you do see some of that stuff while it's happening. [00:33:08] Speaker A: It's only. It's only a few. It's only a few shows that I really, really. I'll be tapped in like that, the way I watch it. But a lot of shows now say, like, a show like Raising Canaan, they really don't have a lot of deep, deep stuff in there. Oh, they put this, like, whatever. They want to be, like the Easter egg type stuff. It'll be like, so surface level until you can catch it. Like, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? It won't be nothing too, too deep. Like, they might say, yo, I gotta go to Dapper Dan's house. Or whatever, whatever. Like, you know who Dapper Dan is or whatever. Like, Dapper Dan made this or whatever, whatever. You know what I'm saying? Or what's the guy that. Or like, he's like, yeah, Branson ain't got this. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, like something like that. Like, I might pick up on that. But to me, that's like, surface level. But now I mentioned it, like, knowing who Branson is, It's crazy. Yeah, but, you know, but they wouldn't even put Branson in no shit. You know what I'm saying? All this stuff be kind of like, surface level. So it's only, like, a few Shows that really put stuff in it like that. Or movies that put stuff in it like that. [00:34:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm sorry. We probably veered off a little bit. [00:34:14] Speaker A: Nah, don't apologize. [00:34:15] Speaker B: They listen. [00:34:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:16] Speaker B: What else you watch? [00:34:17] Speaker A: Nah, that's all I watch. Well, the BET Awards, how you like it? It was good. The BET Awards always be good to me. It's always good. Cause it's all of the music in the culture, and then they have, like, all the cultural references. That's hot at the moment. So, you know what I'm saying? I think people get the BET Awards and the BET Hip Hop Awards confused, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, over the years, like, Chris Rock has hosted, Monique has hosted, you know what I'm saying? I think she did it a few times. I wanna say Kevin Hart hosted. Like, this year, Drewski hosted. He did. He did good. He came. He came out wild. I was surprised he came out with that. With that preacher, with having all those religious people there. [00:35:03] Speaker B: Yeah, he did it. [00:35:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:05] Speaker B: And he didn't. He didn't hold back either. [00:35:06] Speaker A: No, he didn't. [00:35:07] Speaker B: He impregnated. [00:35:09] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, he did that. [00:35:10] Speaker B: Pregnant Tiana Taylor. [00:35:11] Speaker A: Yep. He did all of that. He did all of that. [00:35:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:35:14] Speaker A: The. I like the part where he had Kiki Palmer kind of like. Like, this should have been my job and all this and that. And she took over, and then she kind of introduced the next thing. Whatever. That was good. I mean, it was cool. I mean, some of the people that performed might have been a little bit too young for me to know who they were or whatever or too new. Yeah, some of the people that performed, like, I ain't know who this was. [00:35:34] Speaker B: Who's your favorite performance? [00:35:38] Speaker A: Uh, the Lauryn Hill tribute was good. That was good. [00:35:43] Speaker B: I'm surprised you said that. [00:35:45] Speaker A: Yeah, it was good. It was cool. [00:35:47] Speaker B: That singing was too off. That singing was off. [00:35:50] Speaker A: Who, hers? Yeah, she wasn't supposed to perform. [00:35:54] Speaker B: She did say that. And the whole time she was trying to signal the people in the back for something, like to stop singing or something. She was trying to signal them too, [00:36:02] Speaker A: and then I wasn't. It was on. Like, where I was. It was on. But. Okay, the second half, it was. We were watching on the project. We were playing cards. So I was looking. I was mainly listening to it, so I didn't see that. I got you the Janet Jackson tribute to Teyana Taylor, which is. I was kind of like, icon, but it said icon of the Year. [00:36:26] Speaker B: Of the year. [00:36:27] Speaker A: Of the year. Yeah. So she did have A big year, which I feel like I, I, I think she's nice and everything, but I don't know if her acting is all the way there. She, she got, she gotta get. Cause to me, she's up in the A list, though. I don't think she A list yet. [00:36:43] Speaker B: B, probably give a B. I mean, [00:36:46] Speaker A: she be at all the A list events. But to me, a list means everybody from top to bottom know who you are. So the only reason I, no matter [00:36:54] Speaker B: the age group, only reason I think that is she done did the movie with your favorite boy. [00:37:02] Speaker A: Leo. Yeah, Leo. But everybody still don't. If I say, if you say Will Smith, they ain't a person damn near on the planet who don't know who [00:37:11] Speaker B: will know the name. [00:37:12] Speaker A: That's. To me, that's a list. [00:37:15] Speaker B: Let's give a C then. [00:37:16] Speaker A: I give a B. You give a B. I'll give a B. [00:37:19] Speaker B: All right. [00:37:19] Speaker A: I give a B. B plus, E. I give a B plus. Cause now her face is so recognized. She might be like one of them people where. Cause, and I ain't talking about just black people. [00:37:34] Speaker B: Do you think white people know her, though? Like, I'm sure some say her name. [00:37:38] Speaker A: I'm sure some. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm getting at. I think some white people know her, and other white people will be like, you know the girl that was in the movie with Leo? [00:37:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:37:47] Speaker A: Or she dances. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's certain little things, like, you know what I'm saying? Everybody didn't know her from my sweet 16, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's how she was introduced to the world on my sweet 16 or whatever. So. Yeah, but the overall awards was good. The performances. TI Had a good performance at the beginning. [00:38:09] Speaker B: Who's your favorite performance out of all of them? [00:38:11] Speaker A: I just said the Lauryn Hill tribute. Yeah, yeah, that was it. I mean. Cause you know those songs. I'm trying to think who else performed. A lot of people from around here was looking for Trap Dicky to win an award, but not yet. Nah, it was Best new Artist, but I don't think the people that were in it, you know what I'm saying? They were. They got more of a crossover, like, more mainstream. [00:38:37] Speaker B: Okay. [00:38:38] Speaker A: You hear more on big radio stations than. You know what I'm saying? And I think people get blinded by what they see and what they play in their car and don't look at the world aspect of it. But, you know, he Having a good career, starting out, so. [00:38:50] Speaker B: Yeah, he is. [00:38:50] Speaker A: Well, I say starting out. I've been listening to him since 2018, so. [00:38:54] Speaker B: But it's starting out to the world. [00:38:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:38:58] Speaker B: I didn't see all the performances. I seen a good. Like I said, eight of them. I did. Ti, French Montana, Max B, Cardi B. [00:39:09] Speaker A: Oh, Cardi B. I don't want to see that. [00:39:12] Speaker B: Her performance was pretty good, though. [00:39:14] Speaker A: I don't want to see no fucking stripper pose. [00:39:16] Speaker B: That part she could have left out. [00:39:17] Speaker A: I don't want visual. You don't have to see that. Yeah, she had a good. And it. Everybody. [00:39:22] Speaker B: Her background was good. [00:39:23] Speaker A: Yeah, leave some of that stuff. She had the dude riding around on the motorcycle. That is right. Yeah, yeah. [00:39:29] Speaker B: It was active on that stage. [00:39:30] Speaker A: It was. [00:39:31] Speaker B: It was active. I like how TI Came down with that crown. That was pretty cool. [00:39:38] Speaker A: See, I started watching it at the crib, but then I had to leave to go. I had to be. [00:39:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:39:44] Speaker A: So it started out. Cause I did watch a little bit of the pre show, but like I said before it started, they played Bow Wow's tiny disc. [00:39:51] Speaker B: Okay. [00:39:52] Speaker A: Yeah. So that was going. But. [00:39:53] Speaker B: Oh, wait, so that came on bet? [00:39:55] Speaker A: Yeah, that came on BET before. Oh, wow. [00:39:57] Speaker B: I didn't know that. I didn't know that. [00:39:58] Speaker A: I didn't know that. [00:39:59] Speaker B: Okay. Oh. Cause he was hosting. [00:40:02] Speaker A: He hosted part of it. [00:40:04] Speaker B: Yeah, he hosted the red carpet. [00:40:06] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that is right. Cause yeah, he had Ray J on the red carpet and stuff too. That is right. [00:40:10] Speaker B: I watch a lot of the red carpet, too. [00:40:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:40:12] Speaker B: See, I watched three hours long. Three hours long. [00:40:14] Speaker A: Yeah, it started at like 5, 5:30. [00:40:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I watch a lot of that. [00:40:17] Speaker A: Yep. What other performances you caught? [00:40:21] Speaker B: Let's see. Lauryn Hill, Tim's. Is that. Is that how you say her name? [00:40:25] Speaker A: She did perform with. She performed with a group of people, though. [00:40:28] Speaker B: Yeah, that was good. [00:40:29] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She. [00:40:30] Speaker B: Yeah, Keanu. Kehlani. [00:40:32] Speaker A: Kelani. Kehlani. She did perform too. [00:40:35] Speaker B: Her vision was crazy. Yeah, yeah, that Dag on Wings. Yeah, she killed that. [00:40:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:40:43] Speaker B: Who else? There was a guy up there, don2 or something like that. I didn't know who he was. [00:40:48] Speaker A: Don Tolliver. [00:40:49] Speaker B: Don Tall, Something like that. [00:40:50] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:40:52] Speaker B: It was pretty good. I. I hear his voice in other songs. [00:40:55] Speaker A: Other songs? [00:40:56] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Just like Baby Kim, Baby King. [00:40:59] Speaker A: Baby King. [00:41:00] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, both of them. I hear them in other songs, but. [00:41:03] Speaker A: Yeah, Baby Keem. [00:41:04] Speaker B: I know. Baby Keem, though. [00:41:05] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what you call it, cousin. [00:41:08] Speaker B: Yeah. And he was on that. The first time I heard him, I think, was on that fake ass. Dr. Dre, I'm coming back out with the Chronic album. [00:41:19] Speaker A: Oh, he was on the California. [00:41:22] Speaker B: What was it? [00:41:23] Speaker A: He was on the California or something? No. Was it the album for Straight Outta Compton? [00:41:30] Speaker B: Nah, it was that. That was. That single, though. That single was on Straight Outta Compton. [00:41:36] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:41:36] Speaker B: I know the one. You like the whole beginning of the movie. [00:41:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that song. [00:41:41] Speaker B: That song. That's where I know him from. But he put, like, a halfway, like, you thought it was gonna be another Chronic album. He put one of those. Yeah, he did. [00:41:50] Speaker A: He did. He did. [00:41:51] Speaker B: And he was on there. That's how I end up catching him. [00:41:55] Speaker A: Yeah. Drew Ski. I missed this, but they said Drew Ski did like, a. A trailer that was supposed to be like, oh, my God. About Joe. Yeah, but. And the thing that made me see this was they did an AI of Janet Jackson response to it. [00:42:16] Speaker B: That was AI Yeah. Ain't no way, man. [00:42:19] Speaker A: That was AI Cause if you look at her mouth, her mouth isn't matching up to none of the words. [00:42:25] Speaker B: Oh, shit. [00:42:25] Speaker A: And then I researched to see if it was an article about it, and there was no article that. Where she said something. You know what I'm saying? Dang. [00:42:33] Speaker B: So the world is fooled. [00:42:36] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. [00:42:37] Speaker B: Everybody thinks, oh, Janet Jackson, she stopped doing this. Now she ain't talking to BET no more. She doing this. [00:42:43] Speaker A: Yeah. That was what I saw. Like, she'll never perform at bet. Was never be there no more. Yeah. [00:42:49] Speaker B: So it's fake. She didn't walk out. [00:42:52] Speaker A: Maybe she was going to leave in. I don't know nothing about the walk. I didn't see nothing about the walk out. I didn't see nothing about. The only thing I saw was that video was saying, she's never gonna be at the BET Awards again. [00:43:05] Speaker B: Okay. Well, I guess the listeners, if y' all didn't see, was like a trailer for a movie for Joe Jackson. [00:43:15] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. We playing it for the people watching. Yeah. Yeah. On the BET Awards. Yeah. It was a trailer for. Well, it was. Yeah, for a movie for Joe Jackson, but it was from his perspective. So it's just him beating niggas. [00:43:26] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:43:27] Speaker A: And fussing and stuff. [00:43:28] Speaker B: It wasn't funny to me. [00:43:30] Speaker A: I mean, that first scene when he was at the table and somebody said something and they didn't want to do it, he went to try to take his bed off fast like a man. That shit. That. That was funny. [00:43:38] Speaker B: That's cool. But the best part, right, is right here, where he throws the daggone wine down on the ground. But I mean. [00:43:46] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I don't see how Drewski, he can. [00:43:51] Speaker B: Like somebody got mad over it. I don't care what. [00:43:53] Speaker A: Yeah, somebody probably did. Somebody get mad at every one of the Jacksons, though. Everybody get mad at all of the stuff he does. Like, that's just what it is, man. [00:44:02] Speaker B: He's good, though. I saw something yesterday. I don't know if it's a new character, but it was a white guy country singer, and he was kind of like practicing in the mirror. You seen that? [00:44:15] Speaker A: I saw him sitting down as that character singing a song in a trailer. [00:44:18] Speaker B: Was it like in a. Look like a movie trailer? [00:44:21] Speaker A: Like a. I think so. [00:44:22] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:44:23] Speaker A: Yeah, I think so. [00:44:24] Speaker B: You gotta be good to be able to have that same twang and everything and still know the words of the song and be that character. He did good. He did good on that. [00:44:35] Speaker A: But yeah, shout out to him. He did a good job hosting too. Yeah. You know, here's something that I wanted you to see since you and guns. This is what a lot that's been. A lot of people been talking about it black and white on social media and stuff. [00:44:51] Speaker B: Outside of Florida Walmart. [00:44:53] Speaker A: So this happened in Florida at a [00:44:54] Speaker B: Walmart parking lot shooting outside a Florida Walmart earlier this week. The Broward County Sheriff's Office said video shows a deadly parking lot shooting outside a Florida Walmart earlier this week. The Broward County Sheriff's Office says it started with an argument over a parking space dash cam footage shows a man approaching a woman who appears to have a gun in her hand. There was police officers everywhere and I did hear a woman screaming and crying. The woman told investigators she fired the gun in self defense. That man was taken to the hospital where he died hours later. Damn. He died. He was. He looked like he was sitting there, [00:45:31] Speaker A: like he got shot in the gut. [00:45:32] Speaker B: Yeah, he about to get it. [00:45:34] Speaker A: Yeah. Hey, so you a gun person? What do you think about that? And from what I've been seeing, the woman hasn't been charged. [00:45:41] Speaker B: I don't think he was approaching, but at the same time he didn't have a weapon. But I think it might fall under the self defense. [00:45:53] Speaker A: You might get that or stand your ground. [00:45:56] Speaker B: Stand your ground. [00:45:56] Speaker A: Cause I don't know how. [00:45:57] Speaker B: It depends on the state though. Some states. [00:45:59] Speaker A: So this was in Florida. Florida heavy. Would that stand your ground? So I think in my mind, I think the reason why they didn't charge her is because he was approaching her. And if I got a retreat, then that Ain't me having to stand my ground. So I think that's what she may get off. And in the comments, a lot of people, black and white, was like, he shouldn't have been approaching her. You know what I'm saying? So some people was trying to make it, like, racial or whatever, but it wasn't. [00:46:27] Speaker B: I mean, I'm not gonna say it wasn't, but from a video with no sound. Yeah, it's just a guy, you know, he was aggressive towards what it looked like. [00:46:36] Speaker A: Yeah. Anybody approaching, for one. If you're approaching somebody smaller than you and they saying, stay back. [00:46:42] Speaker B: Oh, they're gonna use that. Oh, he's a male. He's a big, strong man. And. [00:46:47] Speaker A: But I'm saying, man or woman, if you bigger than a person and you approaching them, they telling you to stay back. Stay your ass back. [00:46:54] Speaker B: People gonna learn. [00:46:56] Speaker A: Stay your ass back. [00:46:57] Speaker B: You can't talk to people any old way. Like we say all the time. [00:46:59] Speaker A: Yep. [00:47:00] Speaker B: And you can't approach anybody. [00:47:02] Speaker A: Yep. Don't approach. Mind your business. Nobody. Mind your business. [00:47:04] Speaker B: Mind your business. [00:47:05] Speaker A: Y' all fussing over a parking. Hey, my bad. You can have the parking spot, or you know what I'm saying? Whatever. Whatever. [00:47:10] Speaker B: Now, if it's a big guy and you want to approach the big guy to test your mojo skills, sure. [00:47:15] Speaker A: Yeah, go on and do that. Go on and do that. You probably ain't gonna pull out, but y' all probably gonna tussle. But for the most part. [00:47:21] Speaker B: Yeah, you're a little guy. You want to test your little skills, Go ahead. [00:47:24] Speaker A: Yeah. This other story that. That's been going viral and people have been using this in advertisement. These people, they climbed the Empire State Building and had a sign up. Yeah, I forgot. What did the sign say? [00:47:38] Speaker B: I forgot what the sign said. But the social media got the sign saying everything. [00:47:41] Speaker A: Everything. I think it said something about love winning. [00:47:46] Speaker B: Love wins when love wins. Peace. Something like that, right? [00:47:52] Speaker A: Yeah. What is a love Service unit will have to come there. [00:47:55] Speaker B: It said, when love wins, love wins. When peace. [00:47:59] Speaker A: What did that sign say? [00:48:00] Speaker B: Look, they're going around. [00:48:02] Speaker A: Yeah, but see, they never get. They never get right in front where you can read the damn sign clearly. Ah, love wins when something. [00:48:14] Speaker B: Love wins. Love wins when love wins. But peace wins. Some shit like that. It's either way, like I said a couple weeks ago, New York City is Gotham City all the way. They are on the tippy top. Not just the top. Top of the Empire State Building. Yeah, like people on the ground. It took them hours to notice that somebody Was up there. That's how high it is. [00:48:42] Speaker A: And did they? [00:48:44] Speaker B: No. [00:48:44] Speaker A: It said, when the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace. Okay, we were close. No, we were not nowhere near close. [00:48:54] Speaker B: We used the right words, but we [00:48:55] Speaker A: love wins when chickens wings are two for a dollar. [00:49:01] Speaker B: We did the Soul Train Scrabble board with it. We had all. Yeah, we'd have lost, but we didn't have them in. Lord. [00:49:08] Speaker A: Yeah, we the lost. But. Yeah, that went viral this week. I don't know. I guess they'll get arrested for trespassing. [00:49:14] Speaker B: Oh, they got a slew of charges. Like, they say they was looking for tools or anything because if they had broke into anything, they was gonna get the burglary charge they was gonna get. It was a whole lot of things. Yeah, they tried to put everything they couldn't put on them. Now they saying some billionaire unknown person [00:49:36] Speaker A: paid them to do it. [00:49:37] Speaker B: Nope. Broke them out. [00:49:40] Speaker A: Oh, bailed them out. [00:49:41] Speaker B: Bailed them out. [00:49:41] Speaker A: Oh, that's. I wonder that. [00:49:43] Speaker B: Well, but they're foreigners. [00:49:45] Speaker A: Oh, they're not even American. [00:49:46] Speaker B: No, they. They both had, like, a accent. Oh, Gotham City man. [00:49:53] Speaker A: Shout out to them, man. [00:49:54] Speaker B: You know how high that is? [00:49:55] Speaker A: Very. [00:49:56] Speaker B: Not even how high it is. Do you know how windy it is up there? [00:50:00] Speaker A: Very. [00:50:01] Speaker B: Do you know that, like, the top that they standing on is not standing still that high? [00:50:06] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it's swaying. Yeah, all them buildings be swaying. [00:50:09] Speaker B: It look like they just up there. [00:50:10] Speaker A: But, yeah, they professionals. Oh, yeah. [00:50:14] Speaker B: I don't know how real it is, but they have a documentary coming out for them. [00:50:19] Speaker A: Oh, really? [00:50:19] Speaker B: Called Skywalkers or Skyscraper or something like that. I don't know how real it is, but it's supposed to be coming up on Netflix. [00:50:29] Speaker A: I saw a picture of the guy down on one knee proposing to the woman. [00:50:33] Speaker B: That's real. [00:50:34] Speaker A: That's real. [00:50:34] Speaker B: Yeah, that's on. I've. You know, I found the. The Instagrams. [00:50:39] Speaker A: Okay. [00:50:40] Speaker B: Because I wanted to see the real pictures. [00:50:41] Speaker A: Okay. [00:50:42] Speaker B: And it was like two pictures. It was three pictures. It was one of her laying on something. I don't know if that was the same day, but they trying to say something is off because she had different shoes on into two different. But I mean, he did get down on bended knee and he proposed. [00:51:04] Speaker A: So shout out to. Shout out to this brave couple. [00:51:07] Speaker B: They killed it. [00:51:08] Speaker A: They did. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Like, it's Gotham City man. [00:51:12] Speaker A: Yep. [00:51:13] Speaker B: That all black on matching. Yeah, it was cool looking to me. [00:51:18] Speaker A: Well, it's time for us to get into one of my favorite segments. [00:51:24] Speaker B: Oh, Shoot, that's my favorite now, too. Okay, okay, okay, okay, Okay. [00:51:58] Speaker A: Scam of the week time, y'. All. This week's scammer is. Takes us to Atlanta and he. He's a podcaster. Atlanta podcaster. He's sending the sentence to federal prison for unemployment benefit fraud scheme. [00:52:14] Speaker B: You know what that is, right? You know what that is? [00:52:17] Speaker A: What? [00:52:18] Speaker B: That's. You know, they, they coming back slowly and getting all the people. [00:52:22] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. [00:52:24] Speaker B: That did the PPP and. And all the COVID scams. [00:52:29] Speaker A: Yeah, these are these people that did the. So mainly they getting the people that did the unemployment scam. [00:52:38] Speaker B: How do you. I guess. [00:52:40] Speaker A: And a lot of people did it. They were getting people out of California, but. Yeah. He said he stole nearly $3 million in unemployment benefits. During the COVID 19 pandemic, 36 year old Jonathan Dupitin and his co conspirators took part in the scheme that used the stolen identities of hundreds of unwilling individuals. [00:53:02] Speaker B: Oh, he really scammed it. [00:53:04] Speaker A: Yeah. That's how they was getting it, though. [00:53:06] Speaker B: He didn't just do it on himself. I thought maybe he was doing it on himself. [00:53:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:53:09] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:53:11] Speaker A: According to officials, Dupontin, whose motto was fraud is dope, an acronym for finally rich after unstoppable determination, organized the scheme while already in a halfway house for previous fraud convictions targeting SNAP benefits. Prosecutors say the scheme targeted California's unemployment insurance benefits program to give financial assistance to workers who are suffering during the pandemic. [00:53:40] Speaker B: Look at them. [00:53:41] Speaker A: Boy. That's him right there. Jonathan. He attends. Oh, no, that was a picture. They got the words for the pitch up here. I'm using encrypted virtual private networks. He and others took the stolen identities to submit false unemployment insurance applications. Officials say after the claims were approved, the group updated the mailing addresses to locations in North Georgia, including his address. They then used the mail debit. Used the mailed debit cards containing the benefits at ATMs across the metro Atlanta area. Said the California program was tricked into sending around $3.8 million to the group, which withdrew or spent more than $2 million of the fund. In January, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. And he got sentenced to seven years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. He'll also have to pay restitution, but they didn't give the amount of money, so. [00:54:42] Speaker B: So he was locked up when they realized when they were still going back on his old shit. Well, he was in the halfway house. [00:54:49] Speaker A: Halfway house. So not technically, not really. Locked up. He was about to get free. [00:54:53] Speaker B: Yeah. He was in the halfway house, though, for the snap. But they done dug up his old stuff. They was probably getting that all together when he was on his way out. Like, you know what, man? He's part of this. Let's get him for that, too. [00:55:07] Speaker A: Or somebody snitched. [00:55:09] Speaker B: Damn. [00:55:09] Speaker A: Yep. Yep. Well, they got his ass. Hopefully the people that. Hopefully the people that, like, identities he stole or whatever. Hopefully they've got their benefits and whatever. Cause there was one guy that was a rapper. He was, like, from. I wanna say he was from la. He got caught in Vegas and he had, like, the reason why he got caught. Cause he got stopped by the police. They searched his car, and he had, like, 20 or 30 of those cards, unemployment cards from California. They was like, what he doing with all these cars? And then they went and traced back. And I think he had got, like, $1 or $2 million in benefits that he had got. So all of these was going around the same time. Like, it's a lot of. Like. It was something about their specific system that they were doing that scammers from all over the nation were doing it and getting their information on that. [00:56:06] Speaker B: Dag. I wonder if they had to come out with different addresses for each person they did fraud on. [00:56:12] Speaker A: Probably so. And then once they do get the address, they just switched the mailing address to somewhere close by. Yeah. [00:56:19] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:56:20] Speaker A: Yep. Yep.
